we're meeting with Manny Rovithis.
We all know him as Owner of Manny's TV and Appliances,
but today, we're talking olive oil.
Well, Manny, thanks for being on the show
Glad to be here.
So, Manny, everybody in Western Mass knows you as the appliance guy
what inspired this olive oil business?
Well, number one, most of the oil that you
see on the shelves in the supermarket's
they're not what they say they are okay
I mean, they're blended, they're all over
the different countries you know and
they put it all together so we were
pressing the olives down in Greece about
five six years ago and I'm saying, "heck"
I can do this, I can bring
the oil up here I know enough about
merchandising and all that so I'm standing
there at the factory and I say, this
is easy this is not, so I came back about
five, six years ago and I've got all the
FDA approvals I got whatever it took to
you know to bring it up here and the
rest is history really
So, as I look around, I see that the
products are a lot more than just olive
oil tell us what you have to offer.
Well, after the oil came up I was doing very
every time I go back to Greece,
which I go often, and I look around and
see if there's anything else that I can bring up
here, okay, so then I started out with the
olives, the olives, they're different
they're out of this world as far as you
know they're infused with the garlic
infused with red pepper, jalapeno and
almonds, okay so at their different looking.
and then I got the tapenade. The tapenade
just a black olive, okay, but it's a
spread you can do it over cheese, you can
do over bread, whatever. Toast in the
morning or whatever. And then the next
thing that I have I have balsamic. The
balsamic is out of this world. I mean it's
just, we put a little honey in it so you get
the tart, but you also get the
sweetness okay. So that's it. And then the
other, the best part about it is
everybody saying why don't you have
infused oils so we have a line of infused
We have it with pepper, we have it with
rosemary, oregano, we have a basil, salad
dressing all that you know is included.
And the best part, this here
it's solid, but it has pits in it but
the kalamata and the green, unbelievable.
So, Manny, how are sales going, and if somebody

sales are going great, okay, we've only
had the oil here for four years, but I
just want to first of all say to you
that we have won two awards in the last
three years okay and they're silver medals

Propaganda. Can you recognise it?

Propaganda isn't a new issue, it's been used for thousands of yours all around the world.
In ancient times the primary goal was to promote the ruler's greatness or his military successes,
then, in the Middle Ages, came the predecessor of political propaganda,
where they focused on the enemy's denigration and the enlargement of its crimes.
By the 19th century it reached to such a professional level
that some contemporary propaganda elements are still considered to be public knowledge today.
For instance, in the American Civil War the North fought the South
in order to free the african slaves...
Nice, but false.
However, world wars meant a new level to propaganda, as all sides focused on dehumanizing the enemy,
and discrediting their leaders.
This was perfected by the nazi's propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels.
The key is that the system needs to focus on a deep, instinct-like sentiment in order to work.
Which we have plenty of here in Hungary.
We are afraid of losing our jobs, we are afraid of going to hospitals due to infections,
and we are afraid of not having any money at the end of the month.
These are honest emotions which cannot be taken away from us.
However, in a normal country, the government answers to these fears with solutions,
while about what goes on here, let's hear a tale from the youth of Wonderland.
Once upon a time, there was a big flood in Wonderland.
All got soaking wet, so we started thinking what we should do. Then the Old King said:
It's the Beerlanders fault.
What do the Beerlanders have to do with...
They want us to hate water, so we'll also drink only beer.

Best Foundations for Fair and Pale Skin - Face Swatches of 49 Foundations | Cruelty Free & Vegan - Duration: 20:40.
Hey guys welcome back and hello to you new people too! Just a quick reminder to go ahead
and hit that subscribe button down below so you never miss a video. Today I am bringing
you a labor of love. This is a very labor intensive video but I've wanted to do it for
quite a while. I did 49 face swatches of different foundations that I own. Many of them are vegan.
I'm excited to share them with you. One of the biggest reasons that I wanted to do this
video is that I feel like a lot of times people feel that if you are fair or pale that there
aren't a lot of foundation options for you. And so I decided to go through my huge collection
of foundations and say hey here are some options that are available. So 10 years or so ago,
it was really difficult to find foundations that matched my skintone. Now I have a much
easier time finding a match, even if I do have to add a white mixer to it. There are
a lot of great foundation mixers out there. On my blog I will have pictures of the swatch
as well as the blended out face. So you can look at everything individually too. I chose
to shoot this outside in indirect natural light. It was kind of a cloudy day out so
there was sun and then sun behind the clouds. I didn't use any of my studio lights, I just
wanted to use natural light to try to capture as close to true color as possible. A quick
thing I want to note is that before I ever put on foundation I put on 2 things - 1 is
the Lucy Minerals Ambrosia for Dry skin oil to hydrate my face. I put on SPF. This is
MD Solar Sciences SPF 50 mineral cream. It's great for sensitive dry skin like mine. I
love it. This is what I use to protect my skin from the sun every single day. Now the
day I did this I did it outside, it was about 80 degrees, my hair was a hot mess because
after the video I went and took a shower and washed it. I wanted to wait until after I'd
done all of this. My skin was cleansed and hydrated before I started. In between swatches
I used Coconut Oil to remove the foundation and lightly hydrate my face. I did swatch
these quickly so they're not perfect swatches but when you're doing 49 swatches you know
you're going to get tired at some point. I didn't wait for any of these to oxidize so
if you want me to do individual reviews on any of these foundations be sure to let me
know in the comments below. Just so you know, I match my foundation to my neck and my chest
because my face looks darker than my neck and chest because I have a lot of surface
redness from my rosacea. So for a foundation to match me I'm looking for it to match my
chest and my neck. That's what I consider a match. If it matches my face and my face
looks darker than my neck and chest, I don't consider it a match. If it matches my face
and I don't look darker than the rest of me, that's fine. So right now I'm wearing the
FOM Facial Enhancer in Light and I didn't add anything to it. All I did was use the
Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Creme in L1 Neutral under my eyes just to hide a little bit of
darkness, so that gives you some idea. At the end of this video I will tell you which
foundations are my favorite.
And without further ado, I'm going to jump in because there are a ton of swatches!
So I hope that this video gives you hope that there's a foundation match
out there for you if you're pale or fair skinned
A couple of these do look terrible
and I put them in because I thought it would make you laugh.
The Go Natural One is just so horrible.
I hope that you find a
foundation that you like or that you're interested in checking out.
My personal favorites right now are the
Idun Minerals Norrsken Foundation in Jorunn,
which is the liquid foundation that's really pale,
The FOM Facial Enhancer in Light,
which is what I'm wearing in this video,
the Buxom Tickle the Ivory,
which is like a tinted moisturizer,
the Natasha Denona Face Glow,
the Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint
the Kat Von D Light 41 Neutral,
and the RCMA Color Process Foundation
in KA-1.
With the Kat Von D I add Nyx Opalescent,
and with the Buxom, the Glossier, and the Natasha Denona
I add a little bit of white to it to make it a better match
so that I'm not dark face, light neck and chest,
but those are my picks
Before I forget I have a bunch of new stuff in my Spreadshirt Shop
so I wanted to show you the designs.
I'm currently wearing a cruelty free beauty shirt
in a size large, it's a scoop neck.
It has Phaedra on the front of it.
And a purple design that says cruelty free beauty
I also picked up a reusable shopping bag that's in the same design with Phaedra.

And I've had this one for a while, when it doubt, add lipstick,
and this comes in a bunch of different colors, like lime green and blue and pink and purple.
