Youtube daily report Jun 1 2017

Hey guys welcome to Psych IRL.

My name is Donna.

And I'm Ella.

That's my sister whom you haven't seen in a long time.

Today we're going to do a video called songs 90s kids use to listen to when they were in

middle school and high school.

I really wanna play like the whole song for you guys, but I don't want to get copyright

strikes or anything so sorry its going to have to be like.

I picked what Listened to and you picked what you listened to in middle school and high

school.

We don't represent all of the music 90s kids listened to because we didn't...Because we

weren't popular enough.

Speak for yourself.

Studies say that music really shapes the way you grow up.

I'm totally making that up but whatever let's get nostalgic.

Oh my gosh is that yellowcard?

If I could find you now things would get better.

We could leave this town and run forever.

I heard like those types of bands like that kind of music, yellow card was the band that

lasted the longest.

What about simple plan?

Are they still here?

Yes.

They're just Canadian.

This is her pick.

This is so lame.

Told you I made dinner plans.

ooo This is an SOS.

Don't want to second guess.

This is the bottom line.

It's true.

I gave my all for you and now my heart's in two and I can't find the other half.

Do you Joe Jonas is the lead singer of the band, Dance.

DNCE.

The people who sing cake by the ocean.

What?

Do you feel like a man?

When you push her around.

Do you feel better now as she falls to the ground.

I was just going like this and I didn't even know it was about abuse.

I like how you were singing along with Jonas Brothers but not this.

I kind of was right?

He was a skater boy she said see you later boy.

He wasn't good enough for her.

She had a pretty face but her head was up in space.

She needed to come back down to earth.

This reminds me of that time me her and my cousin made this music video that I still

know the dance to.

Don't trust a.

She wants to touch me whoa.

She wants to love me whoa.

She'll never leave me whoa.

What does it mean that you're a vegetarian and you're not scared of them?

My milk shake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like its better than yours.

Damn right.

Someone in middle school had this song on their myspace.

I know who it was.

I just want to break you down so badly.

I trip over everything you say.

I just want to break you down so badly in the worst way.

Taking Back Sunday.

Oh now wonder I didn't know them.

I only know one song.

It's this one huh?

She thought it was so cool to these songs.

middle schoolers.

You get the best of both worlds.

Chill it out take it slow, then you rock out the show.

This was my favorite song.

It wasn't even a song.

It was a freakin theme song from a show.

I hated this song so much and I'm like man I want to live a double life.

You can live a double life if you want to.

Isn't that ill.

From up here the city lights burn like a thousand miles of fire and I'm here to sing this anthem

of our dying day.

I never liked this song.

I finally rest my head on something real.

I like the way it feels.

Ohhh.

It's as if you know me better knew myself.

She should make a come back, but that saturday night live thing.

I don't think she should.

Where'd you go?

Aw you knew it so fast.

Because I listed to this like yesterday.

At times debating telling you that I had it with you and your career me and the rest of

the family here singing.

Watch me you.

crank that soulja boy.

now watch me you.

crank that soulja boy.

soulja boy up in this ohh. watch me crank it watch me roll.

watch me crank that soulja boy and superman that ohh.

Watch me you.

crank that soulja boy.

now watch me you.

I have to block out thoughts of you so I don't lose my head.

Hate me tomorrow.

Hate me so you can finally see what's good for you.

Yeah, I was really emo back because like I use to wear wrist bands and like what are

those black bracelets called?

Yeah those plastic ones?

I don't know why I wore those.

Oh my gosh I'm so embarrassed.

Because you thought it was cool.

I had this The Clash shirt and I never even listened to the clash.

Pump it louder.

Pump it louder.

pump it.

louder.

pump it louder.

turn up the radio.

blast the stereo loud.

Catalyst you insist to pull me down.

You contradict the fact that you still want me around and it's all down hill from here.

And it's all downhill from here.

la la la la la la la.

I feel so untouched and I want you so much that I just can't resist you.

It's hard enough to say that I miss you.

yeah this was another song that I liked, but I didn't know what it meant.

If she touches like this will you do it like that.

If she moves like this will you move it like that come on.

Shake shake shake shake shake it.

shake shake shake shake shake it.

shake shake shake shake shake it.

shake shake shake shake shake it.

who...Miley Cyrus's brother.

The reason I knew that was Miley Cyrus's brother was because back to my Hannah Montana days.

How can you see through my eyes like open doors.

Wake me up.

Wake me up inside.

I can't wake up.

Wake me up inside.

Save me.

Call my name and save me from.

I fell in love in love with youwith you suddenly.

Now there's no place I could be but here in your arms.

Will carry on. will carry on. and though your dead and gone believe me.

your memory will carry on.

That song still goes on the radio, I don't know why you picked this song.

Because we'll carry on.

Now it's just too late and we can't go back.

I'm sorry I can't be perfect.

Nothing's alright.

Because we lost it all.

Nothing last forever I'm sorry I can't be perfect.

I really liked this band and for some reason I felt like I related to this song so much.

I'm like yeah dad look at me.

As my memory rest would never forget what I lost.

Wake me up when September ends.

I have nobody for my own.

I am so lonely.

Oh remix.

Like a cat in heat stuck in a moving car Scary conversations

Shut my eyes, can't find the brake.

What you waiting.

What you waiting.

What you waiting for?

What you waiting What you waiting

What you waiting What you waiting

What you waiting for?

So predictable.

I knew something would go wrong.

something's always wrong.

You don't have to call or say anything at all.

You're so predictable.

Run baby run.

Don't ever look back.

they'll tear us apart if you you give them the chance.

Don't tell your heart don't sing we're not meant to be.

Do you know who Charles trippy is?

No Who's that?

What?

I'll let you lick the lollipop.

Go ahead girl don't you stop.

Keep going till you hit the spot.

whoa.

I'll take you to the candy shop.

One more taste of what I got.

I didn't understand the lyrics until now.

You thought it was about a real candy shop?

That was the end of the video and I know we didn't include all the songs you probably

listened to if you were born in the 90s in middle school and highschool but these were

the songs we listened to in middle school and high school.

I know you think we're probably lame especially her.

She's probably the lamer one or me whatever.

It doesn't matter.

I will see you guys next time.

Stay psyched.

stay psyched.

Why Do We Laugh? ft. Steven Suptic - Duration: 3:19.

Hey there and welcome to Life Noggin.

I'm Blocko and I am Steven Suptic!

We've all heard the phrase "Laughter is the best medicine", but why do we laugh

in the first place?

If we find that out, maybe we could get this world laughing even more… right after I

get my own stand-up comedy special on Netflix.

So, these things.

What do they even do anyway?

Am I right!?

Good luck Blocko!

It seems that laughing might be a little more hard-wired into us than you might think.

Infants laugh very early in their life, usually learning how to laugh before they can speak.

Not only that, but people that are born blind and deaf can still exhibit laughter.

One study found that the laughter produced from deaf participants was fundamentally similar

to that produced by normally hearing individuals, backing up the idea that laughter is grounded

in human biology.

It's also been theorized that laughter predates human speech by potentially millions of years,

being a simpler form of communication.

Laughter is thought to have likely helped earlier people negotiate group dynamics and

establish hierarchy.

I can't even imagine trying to explain that I'm very funny using only laughter!

So if laughter actually is instinctually part of humans, then why do people laugh?

It seems like laughter is more of a way for people to better handle stress and make situations

feel less threatening than laughter only being about things that we find to be funny.

In practice, with a study of 1,200 people that laughed spontaneously in their natural

environments, only about 10-20 percent of the laughing episodes followed anything that

the researchers found to be joke-like.

Finding something funny still seems to play a part in why we laugh /some/ of the time,

but laughing to make yourself feel better about your next difficult exam might be just

as probable as cracking up over that joke you just heard.

But no matter what makes us laugh in the first place, can laughter have any positive effects

on people?

Many will say that it makes them feel good, but it seems that laughing can do even more

for you than that!

In a recent series of experimental studies that were both held in the laboratory and

through naturalistic contexts, people's pain thresholds were significantly higher

after laughter than in the control group.

This pain tolerance was found to be due to the laughter itself and not simply from a

change in positive affect.

Researchers at the University of Maryland Medical Center also found that laughter can

increase blood flow by dilating the inner lining of blood vessels.

Their findings showed that the benefits of laughter appeared similar to aerobic exercise

or the use of cholesterol-lowing drugs.

I'm no doctor myself, but I'd say we could all use a little more laughter in our lives!

So what makes you laugh?

Let me know and give me one of your best jokes down in those comments!

I just might respond if it tickles my pixels!

If you want to see more of Steven in the real world make sure to go check out his channel

and let him know we sent you.

As always, I'm Blocko and this has been Life Noggin.

Don't forget to keep on thinking!

What are Green Almonds? Green Almond Apple Smoothie Recipe - Duration: 7:44.

Hey everybody! How's it going? Today we're

going to be making the Green

Almond Apple Smoothie Recipe. I'm Jenna,

the founder of GreenBlender, welcome to

our video series! Every week we send all

the pre-portioned ingredients and

superfoods to make smoothies at home. And

every day we make one of these smoothies

right here with you! We get to look at

really fun and interesting ingredients

and today, is just like any other day.

We're talking about a really cool

ingredient. Some people may know it, some

people -I mean all people may know it...

some people may know what green

almonds look like, but this is the green

almond. Its kind of crazy. This is what a

under ripe almond looks like. So, this is

a very difficult to find ingredient. You

can find it if you're in California in

a farmers market from mid-april to the

end of May and if you are not in

California, you might be able to find

green almonds in a middle-eastern

grocery store. So green almonds are -you

can really tell that they're actually

part of the peach and apricot family.

Almonds,

people think that they're not, but

they're actually fruits. And the almond

that we know is actually the stone, the

pit of a stone fruit that is the almond!

Now, as almonds mature, the green -this

green part becomes brown and it splits

along the edge and then that's where you

will see what the almond -the shell of

an almond looks like. Its in here, and then

you can crack that shell and eat the

pit of that stone fruit. So, I'm going to

look -I'm going to kind of show you what

it looks like here by cutting one open.

We're sending these in GreenBlender

boxes this week, so if you cut it along

the edge, just like this, you will

actually be able to see this beginning

parts of the almonds that we know. So,

basically as this fruit matures, the

green part kind of shrinks, unlike an

apple, or sorry, like a peach or an

apricot, and this white, actually, is what

becomes the nut of the almond. Looks

like this;

pretty fun! So, we -this is actually, you

know, almonds come from the Middle East

and you can see these if you're

traveling in the Middle East. People eat

them with olive oil and a little salt.

You can put them on your salads. We're

going to put them in our smoothie.

And I wanted to kind of give you a

preview of what green almonds look like.

They can be eaten completely whole; the

green fleshy outside is easy and tender

to eat and so, and the same with the

white inside. So, when you get these in

your box, or when you see them, know that

you can eat the entire fruit. I'm going to

show you... they're crunchy! They are a

little tart, and a little bit - they get you

a little bit in the back of your jaw

here and they look like this from the

inside. Almonds, in general, have a lot

of antioxidants, a lot of fiber, and a lot

of vitamin E. And vitamin E is, I would

call it the anti-aging vitamin; it helps

reduce wrinkles, black spots, and fine

lines (so does sunscreen, by the way) and it has

a lot of it in here. So, let's see what

else is in this recipe and we'll get

going! So, we're going to put, of course, some

green almonds in here. We're going to throw them

in

whole, some hemp seed, a handful of

spinach, one cucumber, the juice of one

lemon, and one apple. Pretty easy peasy! So

let's throw this all in, of course some

water and some ice. Throw in my water... I'm going to

throw in these almonds, so, like I said,

just take the little stem off and throw

them in. I'm going to try this... mmm. You can get the hint of

the almond flavor in this seed here, and

the green on the outside is -has that

tart flavor. So we're going to throw them

in; its going to be a great addition to the

smoothie. A lot of fiber if you get the

GreenBlender box this week. I would

definitely advise you to take a little

bite of the green almond right off the

bat, and if you love it, definitely head

to a specialty grocery store or your

farmers market, depending on where in the

country you're living, and get some more

green almonds! They're really fun and

they're a very -they have such a short

growing season. Sometimes people don't

even realize that you can get green

almonds the way that you can. So I'm

going to throw in my cucumber -little

rough chop it. Cucumbers have a lot of

water in the, in their flesh. Its a great

way to stay hydrated, if you have a hard

time drinking water. I like drinking

smoothies that are water-based because

that's where I get a lot of my water. And

cucumbers are also a great place to get

some water and hydration. I'm going to

throw in the juice of one lemon. If you

are sensitive to lemon, start with one

-with the juice of 1/2 a lemon and if you

want to add more of that citrus flavor,

you can definitely add the juice of the

whole lemon. But if you're sensitive and,

you know who you are,

definitely try to start with less is

more... because you can always add more and its

hard to take the lemon juice out. Woo, jumping out

of my hands! Alright, I'm really excited

about this one! Green almonds are just a

great party trick. If you could find some

green almonds I, well I'm a little bit

unique, where I love finding interesting

ingredients, but it is a great way... you

take those to the bar with you on like a

Friday. Its a great way to start a

conversation and if you don't do that,

you can always have people over and show

them green almonds. Little olive oil,

little salt...mmm its

delicious! So, let's try this one out. Mmm, its so good!

It's very refreshing; the lemon and the

apple are really the main things that

you're going to taste in here. The green

almonds are in there you can't really

tell because they do have this lemony

flavor. Everything is very refreshing, and

this is the great spring smoothie. Please

let me know if you've ever tried green

almonds by telling me in the comments

below. Don't forget to give this video a

like, and I will see you back here

tomorrow!

Cheers!
