program the Qolsys IQ DW recessed-s or qs1134-840
into the qolsys IQ panel 2 wireless security system the first thing that you
want to do is go ahead and remove the contacts from the actual manufacturers
box make sure to keep everything in resellable condition in case you need to
return it for whatever reason go through some of these parts so you'll notice
they actually have two different colors in here for these magnet end caps same
goes for the battery top of the actual contact and then you'll have the actual
magnet which you will place into either the brown or the white continue opening
up the package like so you can remove the installation and programming guide
and you're left with the actual IQ recessed-2 contact now that you're at this
point this is the perfect time to gather the color that you want to use we're
going to go ahead and just use the white one for now and now you can get into
programming you simply slide down or push select settings advanced setting
I'm going to go and enter the dealer code which is the strongest code 2222
select installation devices security sensors and you can decide to either
manually learn it in with the DL ID or you can automatically learn it which is
what I prefer so you select Auto learn from here you will simply remove the top
make sure not to lose it you can simply pull out the internal contact
temporarily remove the battery tab place it back into its housing locate these
little tabs lock it into place take your magnet and contacts and you've
learned the serial number in do you want to continue select okay and again with
causes the programming is so easy I can't stress that enough again this is a
door window contact so we'll leave it there sensor name as in other videos you
can create custom descriptions due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core
processor with Android software this panel can actually announce custom
description and up to 20 characters so it's really fantastic
I'll just make it different and I'll do a back window chime type you want to go
ahead and select the chime type of your liking I'll go ahead and mix it up
that's a really neat chime and sensor group this is one of the most important
areas in the programming this is how the sensor will react in the event that feel
that this sensor is triggered while the system is armed as by default it comes
at 10 which is an entry/exit normal delay which is 30 seconds entry/exit
long delay would be 60 seconds and then there's instant perimeter door window
I'm going to go ahead and make it instant perimeter meaning there's no
delay when this sensor is open it will instantaneously go into an alarm I want
to keep the voice prompts on and notice that it does automatically recognize
that it is an s-line sensor quick fact you may see this little antenna sticking
out if you're having any type of range issues make sure that this antenna for
the RF sensors is coming through this little hole and you can delegate it
through the wall but it does need to be open that will drastically reduce your
signal range now that we have everything in there you're going to select add new
