Over on my Instagram account, I got a request to do the Harry Potter tag! I
thought that I'd already answered pretty much every question you possibly could
about Harry Potter on my youtube channel. But, just in case, I looked up the
questions and, what do you know! I was wrong. And if you know me, you know I am
always up for talking about Harry Potter. If you are too, give me a thumbs up! So
there are a few different sets of Harry Potter tag questions out there, so I
decided to take my favorites from all of them and add a few of my own. I'll put
them in the video description below in case you'd like to read them or answer
them yourself! And there will be some mild spoilers for the books, the movies,
and one question about cursed child if you're still avoiding those. Okay! Let's
jump into it. Favorite book? I usually say Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, but
I also really love Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm interested in
rereading them so that I can see if that still holds up as my favorite. Books or
movies? Is this even a question? Books! Favorite quote? "Anything is
possible if you've got enough nerve." Ginny Weasley. Favorite female character?
Luna Lovegood, for sure. I love Luna. She's amazing. Favorite male
character? Neville Longbottom. Are there any non-binary characters? Just
statistically, I'd be surprised if there weren't any non-binary characters in the
books. I would personally love to hear more about this. I've heard some
interesting fan theories, I'm sure there's some awesome fan fiction out
there that covers this whole thing. Maybe it'll be like a Dumbledore situation
where JK Rowling will bless us with some information after the fact, but not
actually include any LGBT representation in the books themselves. We'll see!
Favorite Weasley? Got to go with Fred. Favorite villain? I think I'm going to
say Snape. Even knowing everything that we know about him, I would still consider
him to be a villain, given that he antagonized all of the main characters. I
did a whole video about him if you want to hear me ramble about Snape some more.
Favorite professor? Ah man, I love Minerva McGonagall. That woman is freaking
awesome. Is there a character that you felt differently about in the movies?
Ginny was such a badass in the books and I wish they'd included just a little
tiny bit of that in the movies. I have no idea why you would take a character
like that who's so full of fire and energy and just turn her into... a prop? Is
that, I mean, she kind of is! I also prefer Harry and his sass in the books. If you
take the scene from the movies where Harry takes the felix felicis and goes
off and has an amazing day, the level of snark and sass is kind of what I saw in
Harry in the books the whole time. He is so sarcastic and funny and they didn't
really carry that through to the movies for whatever reason. Is there a movie
that you prefer to the book? Um, no... no no. Can't say that there is. Is there any
aspect of the books that you'd want to change? I definitely think that the Harry
Potter series is lacking in representation. Knowing what an impact
this series and its characters had on me growing up, I want that for more people. I
want people to be able to see themselves represented in a series like this. Part
of the books that made you cry? Basically the whole second half of Harry
Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The deaths were pretty rough. Which house
would you be in? For me, it's always been Hufflepuff, since I read the books when
I was a kid, up until the Pottermore quiz, which, I did get Hufflepuff, which is
great. It's not that I don't fit into any of the other houses, it's just that all
of the things that are most important to me are also important to Hufflepuff. I am
wearing my badger shirt today, gotta represent. And I really don't care if you
don't like Hufflepuff. If you don't think that being hard-working and determined
and valuing friendship are important things, that reflects more on you than it
does on me! Which class would be your favorite? I think I've been really into
care of magical creatures! I've always loved animals and magical creatures just
fascinate me and I would love to take a class all about them, which is another
reason why I've been so excited for the Fantastic Beasts series to be a thing and
I really enjoyed the magical creature element of that movie. Which spell do you
think would be the most useful? Hands-down, I've got to say apparating
would be amazing. I travel a lot and I like to travel, but there are a lot of
places that I would like to be and not enough time to get there. I'd love to go
visit my family more often, but they're too far away. I'd love to go to as many
different nerd conferences as I could but it's just
impossible. If I could just apparate, it would make my life so much easier.
What would your Patronus be? I always said when I had to guess, that my
Patronus would be a manatee because I've always loved them and I think they're
just amazing, gentle, beautiful creatures. I also think it would be kind of funny like
doing a spell, like this little person, and having the giant like sea cow
come out of the wand! That would be pretty cool, I think. but I took the
Patronus quiz on Pottermore and I got an aardvark! And I really like that! So I
think I'm going to stick with an aardvark! I feel like that's my
personality, I think it's freaking weird and I love it. Which character would you
instantly become friends with? Probably Luna because when I was in school,
everybody thought I was weird and so I kind of hung out with all the other
weird kids and so I think I would gravitate towards Luna for sure. Why are
questions like this so popular and why do you think there's such a tendency to
imagine yourself inside these books? This is another question that I added to the
list and I'm going to answer it with a story. When I was on tour a long time ago,
I was at a library in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. And after the show, the
library actually has their own podcast and they wanted to interview us for it.
And the people hosting the podcast were the librarian who was super awesome and
hosted tons of shows for us over the years, and then one of her teen interns
who was there. And they asked us why Harry Potter is such a big deal and why
so many people love it so much. And my answer was that the characters are so
relatable that you feel like you know them and a lot of us grew up with these
characters, we grew up alongside them, we got to see them as kids and saw them all
the way through their teenage years up until the point where they're 17. And so
for me, that was a really powerful thing. I wanted to know what was going to
happen to them. I felt like they were friends of mine that got me through a
lot of really rough times. I feel like everyone knows a kid like Neville or
knows someone like Hermione and I really do think that that's the reason why
people see themselves in this universe. And then the teen intern, who was a
little bit of a bully and not really very nice to us, basically reminded me
that these are made up children's stories and there might be something
wrong with me if I take them this seriously and that these characters are
not real people. In case you needed clarification, I am more than aware of that fact.
I just stopped talking during the podcast at that point and after we left,
I had kind of been turning this around in my mind a lot and I realized the
perfect comeback would have been just to turn to her and say "Okay, Malfoy." cause
really, we all know somebody like Draco Malfoy - that's why the things he did hurt
so much to read! Have you played any of the video games? Yeah! I played a bunch of
them. I had a Gamecube so I played like the first, the second, and the third I
believe? By far my favorite part of the video games was running around the
castle and doing spells. I felt like they were a little bit unbalanced, like some
of the earlier challenges were unnecessarily difficult and then the
later like, major bosses were really easy. So I definitely got stuck a lot and it
was a little bit frustrating as a game. But if they made a game where I could
just run around Hogwarts, I would be so happy. Were you happy with the ending?
Yeah! Honestly, I was kind of surprised at how happy I was at the ending. Going into
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, I felt like there were so many open-ended
questions, that there was no way she's going to answer them all and honestly, I
think she did a pretty good job! It tied all together, I didn't see very
many of the twists coming, some of them I did, but it was still fulfilling for me
to read the ending of the story. I feel like it really reflects on the fact that
JK Rowling had a plan going into it and she knew how it was going to end. When
you go back and you reread it, you see little clues she left and it's really
clear that she didn't just make up the ending near the end. She had a plan of
where it was going to head and I think that that made it a lot more effective.
What did you think of Cursed Child? I have not seen the play, but I read the
script and I'm kind of wishing that I hadn't. Now that I know that it's coming
to Broadway and I'm hoping that I can get tickets, I'm really excited to go see
it played out, but it really, I feel like it was not intended to be enjoyed as a
script that you read. It needed to really be played out in front of you. I
feel like the play makes more sense as a play than it does as a book. But I really
liked getting to see Harry's development as a father. Obviously, he grew up without
a father and seeing the effects of all of the events that played out in the
original series was very interesting to me. So I
really really hope that I can get to go see the play and see it as it was
intended to be seen. What about Ilvermorny? I've been
thinking about working on a video about what happens when you grow up and the
things you love start to let you down. But with that said, I've been pretty
disappointed with the information we've received so far regarding Ilvermorny.
I don't know if that's something I want to get into today, but it's the reason
why I don't identify with a house and it's a reason why I haven't wanted to
make any Ilvermorny related crafts. I feel like we're going to hear more
about it in the later Fantastic Beasts movies because some of the characters
actually attended Ilvermorny. So maybe I'll change my mind later, but for now,
I'm just kind of pretending it doesn't exist. Favorite form of fan creation?
Oh man. I have to say Wizard Rock; I can't not say Wizard Rock for this answer.
Music based on the Harry Potter series has absolutely changed my life. The community
around it, the opportunities it's given me, the people I've met because of wizard
rock, it's such a huge part of my life and I love it.
It covers all genres, it's written by fans, there's a very DIY aspect of it.
Most people just record it themselves without any kind of representation or
record labels. When people are curious, I usually recommend that they go to a
concert because that is really how you find out what Wizard Rock is all about.
You get to hear the music, first of all, hear it performed live
because I feel like that's the best way to experience wizard rock, but there is
an energy around the community that is impossible to describe and the best part
about the whole thing. It's so accepting and warm and creative and beautiful and
I can't recommend it highly enough. Go to a wizard rock concert, if you can, at some
point in your life. How much does Harry Potter mean to you? Harry Potter means
everything to me. It's changed my life for the better, It's the reason why I met my
husband, it's given me the ability to do what I love for a living. It gives me a
way to connect with people; I feel like my entire generation has this thing in
common and it's amazing to me that I can make a video about Harry Potter and post
it on the internet and people find it and they engage with it and they
relate to it. How incredible is that? For more on this one, I started the Harry
Potter impact tag and I have a video where I answer a bunch of questions
about how Harry Potter has changed my life. Okay, so as it turns out, there is
basically a never ending list of questions you can ask Harry Potter fans!
If there are any questions that I didn't answer or you'd like me to elaborate
further, leave them in the comments below and maybe I'll make another video like
this in the future! And if you haven't already, definitely subscribe to my
channel if you've gotten this far. Because I make tons of Harry Potter
related videos and DIY tutorials inspired by the books, and I think you'll
like them. Plus we always chat a ton in the comments when the video is over and it's
always fun to make friends who like the same things you do. Thanks so much for
watching and I'll see you soon!

How to Pronounce Plural Nouns: S, Z, or IZ? - Duration: 9:03.
Extra English Practice (mouse squeak)
Hey guys. Welcome back to Extra English Practice. (EEP!)
Today we're going to focus on pronunciation.
And we're going to look specifically at how to pronounce
the -s ending at the end of plural nouns.
There are three different ways it can be pronounced
because unfortunately in English, letters are pronounced different ways all the time.
It's true. Just to make it confusing.
So the three options are either
it would be pronounced /s/, /z/, or /iz/.
And how do we decide which one of those?
So you need to look at the word and think about the sound that comes
before the S, the plural ending. And think about the sound, not about the letter.
If the sound is a voiceless sound, if there's no vibration in your throat,
sounds like /k/, or /p/, or /t/, then the S sound, the plural sound, will be /s/.
if it's..if the final sound before the S is a voiced sound, so if your vocal chords are moving,
something like /b/, /m/, or /iy/ - any vowel sound, then the S will be pronounced like /z/.
But if the final sound before the S is a sibilant,
so that's something like an S: s, z, ch, j, sh, zh
If the word ends in one of those sounds, then the S sounds like /iz/
and it becomes another syllable. Do you want to explain more about syllables? Yeah.
You can refer to our previous syllable video, but just remember syllables are
the beats in word, right? So like my name Mi-sha has two syllables. Yeah.
The problem is with this S ending, if you add an extra syllable where there shouldn't be one,
it's going to be confusing and people might not understand. Right?
So I would say desks not desk-is. Yeah. Things like that.
And the only time you're adding another syllable with the plural ending
is when the sound before the S is s, z, ch, j, zh and... sh. Thanks.
Here are some examples. Snack ends with a /k/ sound,
so this is a voiceless sound. So the S is pronounced /s/ - snacks.
And hat..hat is also a voiceless sound. Hats.
And bug..bug ends in /g/, which is a voiced sound
so the S sounds like Z. Bugs.
And shoe - oo - all the vowel sounds are voiced
and so shoe plural will be shoeZ.
And the final category, watch..ch..ch is a sibilant
so this one we add a syllable: watch-es.
And the same with piece - a piece of pie.
One piece, two piec-es because piece ends in a sibilant.
Ok, so Larissa I -like normal- are going to give this a little practice.
We're going to go on a picnic. Let's go in a picnic! Who doesn't love a picnic? Exactly.
On a day like today. Yeah. So we're going to decide what we're going to bring along.
So I'm going to say something that I'm bringing, and then Larissa is going to
repeat what I said and add to the list. And we'll just go back and forth like this.
This is a memory game. Yeah. Let's see if we can do it. Ok.
So I'm going to bring to our picnic some oranges. Ok. On our picnic we'll have
oranges and grapes. Okay, we'll have oranges and grapes and carrots. Ok.
Oranges, grapes, carrots, and sandwiches. All right, we're going to bring oranges,
grapes, carrots, sandwiches, and ..um..drinks. I had to think about it.
Ok, on our picnic we will have oranges,... oranges, grapes, carrots,
yeah, sandwiches, unhuh, What'd you just say? Oh, drinks and pickles.
Oh, nice one. I love pickles. (I don't like pickles.) I bring them for you. Thank you, I appreciate it.
Okay, so on our picnic we're going to have oranges, grapes, carrots, uh...
sandwiches, drinks, pickles, and right? PickleZ. And I'm going to bring,
to make it easier for us, some dishes.
Dishes, oh thank you. Yeah, no problem.
Okay, this is getting long. It is getting long.
On our picnic, we will have (What did we start with?) oranges, grapes, carrots,
sandwiches, something.. drinks, pickles,
dishes and cups for the drinks. Well, I mean, it just make sense.
We can use our hands.
Ok, so we're going to bring oranges, grapes, and carrots, sandwiches, drinks,
pickles, dishes, cups and crackers.
Okay. Crackers. Can I do it? You can do it. Come on.
We're going on a picnic and we're bringing
oranges, grapes, carrots, sandwiches, drinks, pickles, pickles and
she's showing me..she's helping me here... dishes, cups, you just had one...I know and
I forgot it, too. Oh yeah, crackers, crackers and.. cookies. Oooo, I love it.
Nice addition. This might be the end but we'll see. So on our lovely picnic in the sun,
we're going to bring oranges, grapes, carrots, sandwiches, and drinks, yeah
pickles, yeah, dishes, yeah, cups, crackers, cookies, and spoons.
Spoons! Yeah, we might need something. Yes. You're good. I don't think I'm going to make it.
That was fast, too. Okay, okay, carrots..nope! Step one wrong. Oranges. There you go. You got it.
Oranges, grapes. I always want to go to pickles. Pickles is my go-to.
Because there so exciting. Oranges, grapes, drinks. No, carrots. Carrots. [talking over each other]
But it was a good try. It was a good try. Well, thank you.
And I practiced my S endings. That's right. So let's see, did we have any that had an
extra syllable? Sandwiches..sandwich, sandwich-es. Right? two syllables, three syllables.
Dish, dishes. mm-hmm. Anything else? Orange, yes that's two syllables; oranges, three syllables.
Maybe that was it. Dishes? Did we say that already? Yeah.
I think that may be it. And the other ones: grapes, grapes; one, one
Cracker, two syllables; crackers, two syllables.
Yes. Cookie, cookies. Mm-hmm.
All the words..all the endings..all the SOUNDS
except those sibilants (the s-kind of sounds) you don't add any syllables.
That's it. So remember that when you're talking about plural nouns and they have an S on the end.
Yep. All right. Play this game with your friends.
Let us know how it goes. Yes, how many things up can you get. We got to what, a dozen..less maybe.
Maybe less. I'm sure you can beat us.
We would have gone further if it weren't for me. I'm holding you back. I just wanna be free!
Anyway have fun guys, and we'll see you next time. See you.
Grapes, grapes; one, one. Crackers..sorry. Crackers, crackers. Same!

H96 Max Rockchip Hexa Core Android TV Box Review - Played the 2nd 4K Jellyfish video!! - Duration: 22:44.
Welcome to my viewers, my long-awaited package has finally arrived, well its better late
than never, and today I have the review of the H96 Max, Rock chip RK3399 Hexa core Android
6.0 4K TV box.
This box is the third generation in the H96 line, and it promises to deliver more power,
better performance, and a better streaming and gaming experience than its previous models.
So after the break, I'll put this box to the test, and we'll see just how much of a difference
this latest model is from the others, so stay tuned, I'll be right back after this.
The summer sales continues, and GearBest is offering a massive 50% discount on their featured
Alfawise Z28 Pro Android 7.1 4K TV box, along with the TZ P9 Wireless Mini key board.
The offer to buy this open source TV box and get a free remote is still on, along with
daily flash deals on selected TV boxes and pocket-sized projectors.
For more information, see the link in the description area.
Welcome back, and let's start with the package.
The H96 Max, comes in this nice black and gold box with only the logo and serial number
at the top.
The box has the same design as the H96 Pro model, and it was a good decision to do this,
seeing that the previous model was a best seller and has a good reputation.
So I'll just put up the specs on the screen from the product page, and it shows that the
box comes in two versions, a 2GB 16GB and a 4GB 32GB version, so I'm using the 4GB version
for this review.
The CPU is the Rockchip RK3399 hexa core CPU, running up to 2.0 GHz.
The GPU is the Mali T860 quad core GPU.
And as I just mentioned It comes with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
It has dual band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
It has Ethernet LAN speeds of up to 1000 Mbps.
It has 5.1 surround sound output.
And it runs on a 64bit system.
And that's it for the package, so-I'll just take a minute to unpack the contents of the
box.
So in the box, we have the unit itself, it's identical to the previous model with the exception
of some additional ports which I'll get too in a moment.
It comes with this infrared remote, which is probably ideal for controlling basic functions
and navigating the launcher.
However, for more advanced functions, you'll be better off using a wireless mini touchpad
keyboard or air mouse with omni directional control, for a much better navigating experience.
As we proceed, you get one HDMI cable.
Your 5 volts 2.5 milli amps power adapter.
And a user's guide.
Let's have a look at the box.
To the back, starting from the left, you have 1 RJ45 Ethernet input, 1 optical audio port,
1 HDMI port, you have 1 audio video port, and a DC power input.
On the left, you have 1 USB 3.0 port which is identified by its blue color, the one in
the center is a regular USB 2.0, and the last port here is a USB type C.
On the right, the only port here is the SD card slot.
To the top, you have some branding along with a blue power LED light.
And to the bottom, there're some ventilation holes.
So I will just take a minute to set this up and when I return we'll continue with the
review.
So I'm set, and ready to go.
And as I startup the box, it displays an Mbox animation which takes a couple of seconds.
And this is the launcher.
The launcher is similar to the one used in the H96 Pro+, but in its functions its different
in many ways.
It comes with a navigation bar at the bottom, which comes in very handy for advanced users,
and navigating with a mouse or mini touch-pad keyboard.
On this navigation bar you have volume controls, a home and a return button, a cascade button
for multitasking, a screen capture button, a screen brightness button, a hide button,
and a power button.
You have the option to add and remove shortcuts by simply clicking on the add button, and
selecting or unselecting which shortcut you'd like to add.
You also have a handy one click cleanup button to the top right corner, to close any apps
running in the background to improve system performance.
and that's it for the launcher.
Let's take a look at the app section.
In the apps section its really basic, the box comes with a set of core system apps needed
in the normal operations of the box.
From this list, we have APK installer.
Chrome browser.
Facebook.
Happy Cast.
Netflix.
Google play store.
Team viewer.
Twitter. and YouTube.
The box doesn't come with the Kodi application, so in order to bring the box up to scratch,
I'll just take a minute to install some system streaming and benchmarking applications, and
then I'll return with the rest of the review.
So I'm back, and first let's check to see if the box is rooted.
It shows that the box comes rooted, running on android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
This should mean that you have the freedom to download and install any app you like from
the Google play store.
or side load applications using APKs.
However, there's an issue with the root and compatibility with certain applications, and
I 'll say more on this later in the closing comments.
Let's check the DRM information, or digital rights management information.
And it shows that this box doesn't have support for any of the digital rights management services,
which means that this box will not be able to run Netflix in HD quality.
Let's have a look at some system and hardware information.
Under system, it shows that the manufacturer is Rockchip, and the model is the H96Max.
It also shows that the box has 4GB of RAM, which is DDR3, and below it shows the total
and available memory after the Android installation.
The same goes for the internal storage information.
Under CPU information, it shows that the box runs on a hexa core CPU divided into 2 cores.
The quad core cortex A53, the dual core cortex A72, for a total of six cores running up to
2.0 GHz.
It also shows that the box operates on a 64-bit instruction set, with support for 64 bit ABIs.
Under display information, it shows the screen resolution, and the GPU is the Mali T860 quad
core GPU, with a refresh rate of 60hz.
Under network it shows that the box comes with dual band WiFi capability, and below
it shows your signal strength link speed and frequency.
Under Android information, the version is 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and again it shows that
the box is rooted.
Under thermal information, what you are seeing are temperatures after placing a passive cooling
pad below the box.
I found it necessary to do this, after recording temperatures rising high above 60° Celsius
which had adverse effects on the boxes performance during the benchmarks.
After placing the fan, the mercury dropped to 37 degrees which I find to be quite remarkable.
Under codecs information, from the list you have H.264, HEVC, an VP9 decoders.
And I Still can't find H.265 in this list. and that's it for system and hardware information.
Let's now have a look at some benchmarks. and first we have the memory read and write
speeds.
The H96 Max, has a RAM copy speed of 9853 MB/s, the internal memory has a read speed
of 96 MB/s, and a write speed of 73.
And the SD card slot has a read speed of 39 MB/s, and a write speed of 15.
The RAM copy and internal memory results are three times as high as what you would normally
get on an Amlogic or Realtek TV box.
Let's take a look at the WiFi speed results.
It shows that on both the 2.4 and 5.8 bands, the download speeds were around 19 to 25 Mbps,
which is not the maximum speed from my dual band router which is 30 Mbps.
However, during the normal operations of the box, browsing an installing apps was fast
and efficient.
We now have the Antutu benchmark and the results show that the box got a score of 67711, which
again is a high score compared to the other boxes in its class.
The Geekbench 4 benchmark shows a similar story, The H96 Max got a score of 1352 single
core, and 2566 multicore.
These scores are high scores as expected with this box.
And the final score is the ice storm extreme GPU benchmark.
And the results show that the box got a score of 7241.
And that's it for the benchmarks.
Let's have a look at the Kodi application.
the Kodi application didn't come on the box delivered to me, despite seeing it preinstalled
in other videos.
I had to install Kodi 17.3 from the Google Play store, and it ran without any issues.
I'll now run some 4K video samples using the video player on the box to test the 4K video
playback capability, and I'm using the video media player, because I had difficulty playing
some of the 4K videos using Kodi.
So viewers, I am pleased to announce that this is the first TV box to play all of my
4K videos including the second jelly fish video at 250 Mbps bitrate, without even pausing
or pixelating.
And to me, this is a great achievement despite the boxes short comings which I'll say more
on in my closing comments.
I'll now run the YouTube application and run a 4K video to see what's the highest resolution
I can get on my TV.
And it shows that the YouTube application runs up to 1080p HD quality.
I'm not able to test for 4K quality, as my TV is a 1080p TV.
Maybe if connected to a 4K television the 4K option may present itself.
For my final demonstration, I'll test the GPU 3D graphics capabilities with a high graphics
game called GodFire, rise of Prometheus.
Please note, that this game contains weapons fighting and gore, so parental discretion
is advised.
With the render settings set to maximum, and with passive cooling, this game ran better
on this box than any other TV box I have reviewed.
This game utilizes a lot of memory and internal storage, and puts a lot of stress on the GPU
and the CPU.
And none of my other boxes was able to run this game without frame rate and rendering
issues, So I applaud the gaming performance of this box.
So in summary, the H96 Max has a few advancements and a few stops.
let's start with the positives.
The hexa core CPU runs up to 2.0Ghz and not 1.4 and 1.5 in other boxes.
The box is a 64bit TV box with support for 64bit ABIs.
This means that the box can run 64bit application unlike the S912 boxes that only has support
for 32bit ABIs.
The box is rooted, and can install the latest Kodi directly from the Google Play Store.
Every benchmark score is way above average, and in the 4K video test It played the second
jellyfish video, something no other TV box or mini PC was able to achieve till today.
The 3D game God fire, rise of Prometheus ran on the highest settings, with no render issues
or delay during gameplay.
Another achievement by this TV box.
On the flip side, The box comes rooted, but it's like a custom root, where certain apps
are showing that this box is not compatible with the application, And the only way to

Another issue with the box is that it overheats, and when it does the box freezes, so you will
have to use a passive cooling fan to prevent it from happening.
The WiFi speed test results were not the best I've seen, and the Kodi application couldn't
handle the 4K video playback, it had to be done using the Android video player, which
exceeded my expectations.
This brings me to my final thoughts on the H96 Max.
So is it worth getting this box, I'm going out on a limb by saying that yes, the H96
Max is a good TV box, in my opinion from my various test, it shows that this is one of
the best, if not the best TV Box I've reviewed in terms of what it is capable of.
However, everything is not perfect with this box, the powerful hardware generates lots
of heat that freezes up the box if allowed to go unchecked.
However, the box ran smoothly on passive cooling fans with temperatures lower than most TV
boxes.
Also, It's the first time I've encountered a box that's rooted, and yet you are still
restricted to certain apps on the Google Play store.
However, most of these restricted apps can be side loaded by downloading the APK version
of the application.
And finally, I'll be sending correspondence to the manufacturers and sellers of this box,
requesting a firm ware update to fix the Play store compatibility issue, and once that is
made available, I'll be the first to do the update on this channel.
So this brings to an end my review of the H96 Max, Rock chip RK3399 hexa core Android
6.0 4K TV box.
If you're interested in this box, a link along with a coupon code was placed in the description
area to take advantage of this great offer.

Mass vs Weight - Part 3 - Air Powered Mass - Duration: 1:57.
Bob now has a water container, which is an empty container
and also we have an air gun, and from this cylinder,
there is an air exit here, and Bob can squeeze the air out of this.
And we will demonstrate how this water container
will move with the force of the air.
Okay, as you saw with the empty (water bag) or the (water bag) filled with air,
This drink bag moved pretty quickly; and now we have another bag,
which is filled with water, it looks like the same
but inside it is filled with water, so the mass is different,
now we will demonstrate the same thing, with this water bag
and as you can see with the higher mass
this bag did not move as quickly as the other bag with the air.
We'll do that again.
Okay so, that was the demonstration
and you saw the difference
between the air filled bag and the water filled bag.
Since the masses are different, you saw the difference in accelerations
as a result of the same force applied to the bags.

Wine Tasting & Canoeing | andthenIfellinlove Tales & Travels - Duration: 17:57.
Guys, Sharon has a hangover, so I'm going to bring her breakfast in bed.
Oh, darling.
Oh, my darling.
OK, OK, OK. Do it again. Again.
No, Sharon, I've got breakfast in bed for you.
Sjern, I've got a delicious breakfast for you.
For when you've got a hangover. Do you have a hangover?
No, not at all.
Thank you.
But I thought: I'm doing this for my darling because she might have a headache.
Beautiful shot.
Really a Marcha.
Bye.
Yes, can you... I hate making breakfast.
I always want to make breakfast quickly and eat.
Are they done already?
Yes, they are done.
Are you sure? They were just put into the oven... - Oven? - ... and the oven wasn't preheated all the way yet.
Yes, they're really done.
Or do you prefer them like this?
Yes.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED?!
OK, I understand the sand (dust) for real now.
Grandma, if you're watching - which is probably going to happen - ...
... this is the tin can museum, or tin figures.
Tin is can, right?
You hold the glass at its stem.
Three fingers in front.
Thumb in the back, and then little finger in the air, and it's fancy.
Thereafter, you look at the color.
Is it pure? Is it clear?
Is it yellow? Is it green?
Well, and why do you do that? Then you've got something starting in your upper chamber...
... Like what do I've got here? How will it taste?
It's psychology.
Next, you're going to smell it. You put your nose into it.
And you smell.
You could "roll up" the wine, so more scents come free.
You smell again.
Subsequently, you take a sip.
You let it go around in your mouth.
Your mouth, in particular, consists of senses.
In front you taste sweet.
Behind you taste bitter flavors.
On the sides you taste sour flavors.
And on top salty flavors.
Now, I hope we don't taste many salty foods today.
But when you let it roll around in the mouth, it's possible that the flavor changes.
Then you swallow, or you spit it out.
You won't spit it out, no.
When oxygen comes to the mix with the after flavor, the flavor should remain for a little.
That has a certain flavor. Is it delicious or not?
We're going to taste wine like that.
We're starting off with an Austrian wine.
Austria was looked at strictly.
They got an export ban years ago...
... because they put anti-freeze into their wine.
And that's not too delicious.
So they quit that at some point.
In the end, now Austria is doing well with their wine. They are checked freuqently still.
But that's only a good thing.
And the most important grape in Austria is the Grüner Veltliner.
And these grow in wine yards near Burgenland, near the Bulgarian border.
In the Apls it's hard to grow grapes.
But there it goes really well.
But this is one; This is the Gelber Muskateller.
And this is a rare grape.
Only 1% of this grape determines the entire wine production in Austria.
There are only 2500 bottles made from this wine.
We were able to get 900 of those.
Anyway, this is a special wine.
I'm going to poor a glass.
A grape usually yeasts, and the sugar turns into alcohol. - Yes.
Thank you. (using proper "you") - You may say you. (improper "you")
From Tarragona, Spain.
A little sour. - Yes, I just wrote that down.
This is, for occasions like this, a great wine. It's a German wine.
In Germany grapes are mainly grown near the French/German border.
Try it.
Sharon is already drunk now.
She's enjoying it.
I believe she gets drunk from looking at wine.
Really?
Yes, quite fast. I'm not drunk, but I do feel it.
Yes, really?
No.
It's also important - we're sitting, and we're getting oxygen.
That also has an influence.
There are so many types of rosé.
I've got a special wine here.
Red wine. It's kind of our house wine.
On the label, you see the Kasteelhoeve.
It's a blend with four grapes - especially the Syrah and Grenache noir.
Grenache noir is blended more often because it doesn't have a high alcohol percentage.
What is special about this wine is that it lacks tannin.
So that means - the tannin, that I was just talking about -
A little..
Some people are allergic to it. They get reactions like skin irritations.
They don't like that certain flavor.
While it belongs in red wine.
But oh well. This is a quality wine still.
You could drink this chilled.
This label has a story.
It has a strange label for a wine bottle. - Yes.
There are three Port farmers, and they make their own Port, but they share their grape fields.
And they all have a color - blue, green, red.
And every year, a different farmer is responsible for the wine.
This year, it was the blue farmer.
I like this scent better than the previous scent.
The last scent scared me since I'm not a red wine drinker.
But this one... - Got scared! - smells sweeter.
Yes, I don't know. - I like this one. - I'm just not a red wine drinker.
Organic wine - this is a French one.
It comes from around Marseille. Provence.
And organic wine has to do with the farm aspect. Not the bottling process.

It's no biking without hiking! Mountain biking onto the Weinbiet in Palatinate Forest Nature Park - Duration: 7:59.
Is that mudguard on the rear good for anything?
Flo: "For the shock, yes, for the rider, no."
Damn, it's so warm!
So today I'm riding with Flo.
Flo is on a Stevens.
I never heard of the brand until today.
I think he said it's from Hamburg, right?
Nice one.
Flo: "Handmade.
German engineering and handmade."
And he has a nice sticker bomb here on the front mudguard.
So we're mountain biking here in the Palatinate Forest and we are going up on the Weinbiet mountain and Florian
is just showing me some trails.
I met him on Youtube and he was actually so kind to invite to come for a ride and now
we're going up here.
It's 25 degree celsius or so...
I'm dying, but he is relatively fit!
Wait a second, let me check the view.
I have to take a picture for the tour preview on outdooractive.
And he is gone, haha!
It's hard to talk now because it's quite technical.
Flo: "Yeah, the braking distance is a bit short!"
Close one!
Nearly hit the curb here at the end!
Flo: "And here you could nicely go up here and deeper into the Palatinate Forest for some more mountain biking."
Other biker: "Alright guys, see you next time!
And then we will film you going up here!"
With brute force!
Woah, are you kidding me?
Flo: "That's where we went down in the past!"
I don't even have to try going up there.
Flo: "It's ok!"
You want to pass?
Flo: "No :)"
Flo: "I mean if you want to go mountain biking in the alps you better get used to that!"
Yeah, I think we'll just go to Saalbach Hinterglemm for
a week, then up on the mountain by lift and that's it.
Dude!
What is this?
My eyes are burning from the dust!
Oh damn, wrong line choice!
Flo: "My front wheel slipped on the roots!"
Damn, mine aswell!

25 Harry Potter Questions for #HarryPotter20 | @laurenfairwx - Duration: 11:58.

Catalina's Lover - From Spark to Fiction - Duration: 7:59.
- I've often been asked where I get my ideas.
It's a difficult question to answer
because each book is different.
My stories are often sparked by my own experiences,
and by interviews with people I'd met,
exploring their professions, their experiences,
and their knowledge.
Today I'm going to share
the origins of my novel Catalina's Lover.
I had written 18 romance novels for my publisher,
Mills and Boon Limited, when my editor suggested
I write a book set in South America.
Most of these stories had been set
on the west coast of Canada, the United States, and Mexico,
places I'd either lived in or visited.
We'd recently returned from a two-year sailing trip
to Mexico at that time, and scraps of Mexican scenery,
culture, and characters had crept into my romance novels
during that trip.
That's the closest I'd come to a South America story.
The idea intrigued me but I didn't have a story idea,
I didn't know anyone I could interview about South America.
The year was 1990 and although Tim Berners-Lee had invented
the World Wide Web in 1989, the first Internet product
wasn't introduced for homes until 1994.
So my research would have to be done
with books and magazines checked out from the local library.
At that time we were still living aboard our sailboat
in which we'd traveled to Mexico,
and we were now moored in a Vancouver Island marina
on Canada's West Coast.
I recall our boat's salon being littered
with piles of library books about South America.
I had briefly considered using Brazil as my setting,
but I had zero knowledge of Portuguese,
and once I started researching, unfortunately,
the news searches about Brazil too often turned out to be
accounts of street children being killed.
Peru, however, fascinated me.
It also had the advantage of being
a Spanish speaking country
with a language that I was familiar with
after my two years in Mexico.
I loved the research that my husband Brian
got interested in it as well.
I loved the research
and my husband Brian got interested in it as well.
Soon we were reading and discussing historic accounts
of the legendary Inca and the network of stone roads
they'd built in the Andes mountains,
as well as the mythology of Lake Titicaca, Maccu Picchu,
and the history of the Spanish conquistadors
in South America.
I've been fascinated with archeology
ever since my university archeology course,
I was gonna say anthropology, but that too fascinates me.
But so much of Peru's history could still be seen
in a rich deposit of archaeological sites
in the written records from the Spanish
who had flooded the country at that time.
If I set a book in South America,
I would stay away from the Pacific coast, the cities,
and the politics that I read about in the news.
I would set my story in the mountainous areas
that hadn't been taken over by urban life.
When my friend, author Naomi Horton,
showed me a National Geographic picture
of a hand-crafted Inca rope bridge
spanning the gorge over the roaring Apurimac River
in the Peruvian Andes, I knew I had to incorporate
that treacherous bridge into my book.
And that meant I was gonna write a book
set in South America.
But before I could write the novel,
I needed to know about modern day Peru
and not only about the descendants
of the Spanish conquistadors, but also the descendants
of the collapsed Inca civilization, if there were any.
In what ways were modern Peruvian descendants of the Spanish
similar to and different from the Spanish descendants that
Brian and I had met during our two years in Mexico?
How much of the legends, language, and culture from the past
still echoed in the present day,
after the Inca nation that had been largely decimated
by the Spanish conquistadors was gone?
My local library didn't have all the answers,
didn't give me the feel of this country.
But I found my answers in a small Vancouver bookstore,
in the form of two amazing books.
Most importantly, I stumbled across archeologist
Ronald Wright's Cut Stones and Crossroads.
I can't do better describing this amazing book
than this paragraph from the description
I found on Amazon.ca.
Traveling through Peru, tracing the history of the Incas
from their royal cities of Cusco and Machu Picchu
to their mythical origin in Lake Titicaca,
Ronald Wright explores a country of contrasts
between Spanish and Indian, past and present,
coastal desert and mountainous interior.
In his highly entertaining and perceptive account,
Wright brings to life a complex culture,
a land of ancient traditions seeking its place
in the modern world.
Embracing history, politics, anthropology, and literature,
Cut Stones and Crossroads is both
a fascinating travel memoir and the study of a civilization.
And thanks to this amazing book,
I could have confidence that I could make
my fictional Peru true to the spirit of an expert
whose vision I trusted.
Any errors, of course, would be my own.
The second book I found that day was an extremely useful
traveler's guide to body language, customs and taboos
around the world.
This book proved to be a fantastic resource
for writing dialogue
and describing my Peruvian characters' body language.
I decided that my heroine had grown up
traveling with her archeologist father, partly through Peru,
and went on to become an expert in the artifacts
of indigenous North American coastal peoples.
My hero, a Peruvian archeologist of Spanish descent,
was caught between the culture of his ancestral home
in the Andes and the influences
of the international education he'd received
as a young Peruvian of Spanish descent.
I loved researching and writing Catalina's Lover
and when the book was published,
I was thrilled that the publisher's art department
used that Incan rope bridge theme
as the basis for the cover art.
Where do I get my ideas?
The idea for this story came as a result of following
my editor's suggestion,

Articles (a, an, the) - Lesson 1 - 7 Rules For Using Articles Correctly - English Grammar - Duration: 16:59.
Hello and welcome.
In this lesson, I will teach you the
seven rules that you need to know for using articles in
English correctly.
Articles are the words 'a', 'an', and 'the'.
There is a final quiz at the end of the lesson for you to
test your understanding.
OK, the first rule is about where to use 'a' and where to
use 'an'.
So rule number one is use 'a' before a consonant
sound, and 'an' before a vowel sound.
So in all of these words – you see that they start with a
consonant sound.
Cat starts with /k/, dog
starts with /d/, boy with /b/, girl with /g/, house with /h/
and tree with /t/.
So we say 'a cat', 'a dog', 'a boy', 'a girl', 'a house', 'a
tree' etc.
Notice that in natural speech, we don't say
'a', we say 'uh' – like 'a cat'.
In this next set of words, you see that, they all start with a
vowel sound – apple starts with /ae/, engineer starts with /e/,
ice-cream with /ai/, old with /o/, umbrella with /uh/.
So we say 'an apple', 'an engineer', 'an ice-cream cone',
'an old woman', 'an umbrella' and so on.
In speech, we don't say 'an', we say /ən/.
Let's do a small exercise.
You see ten items on the screen.
For each one, I want you to say if you would use 'a' or 'an'
before it.
Stop the video, think about it, then play the
video again and check.
OK here are the answers.
Did you get them all right?
I want to focus on items number seven
to ten because these are a little tricky.
Number seven is 'a university' because even
though 'university' starts with the letter 'u' the first sound
of the word is not a vowel sound.
We don't say /ooniversity/.
We say /yoo-nə- vər-si-ty/ so that first sound
is a /y/ sound, which is a consonant sound, so we say 'a
university.'
Number eight is similar.
The word 'European' starts with a
/y/ sound, so 'a European tour.'
In number nine, the spelling has an 'h' at the start but
that 'h' is silent.
We don't say /hau-ər/, we say /au-ər/.
The first sound is an /au/ sound which is a vowel sound,
so this is 'an hour'.
In the same way, in number ten, we say
MA.
'M' starts with an /e/ sound which is again a vowel
sound, so 'an MA in English'.
OK let's move on to rule number two: Use 'a' and 'an' ONLY with
singular, countable nouns.
We say that a noun is countable if we can count it – one, two,
three, four etc.
All of these words on the screen are countable.
We can say one elephant, three cars,
ten teachers, five hundred onions and so on.
Now if you talk about one person or thing,
like one elephant or one car, then that's called a
singular noun and if you say ten teachers or five hundred
onions, those are called plural nouns.
Uncountable nouns cannot be counted in this way.
Nouns like water, sugar, milk, love,
anger, knowledge are some examples.
If you think about it, you cannot say "I drank
four waters" or "I want eight milks".
To a person, you can say "I love you" but you can't
say "I have five loves for you" – that doesn't make any sense.
So these are all uncountable.
Alright, so the rule is - you can only use 'a' and 'an' if
you're talking about one person or one thing.
Let's do another quick exercise.
Here are ten items again.
This time, you see 'a' or 'an' before the nouns, but
some of these are wrong.
They should NOT have 'a' or 'an'
before them.
Stop the video, identify the mistakes, then
play the video again and check.
OK, here are the answers.
Number three is wrong because 'shirts' is a plural and you
cannot use 'a' or 'an' before a plural noun.
Number five is wrong because 'happiness' is
uncountable, so again, 'a' or 'an' cannot be used there.
The same goes for number six –
water is uncountable.
Number nine is wrong because 'doctors'
is a plural – you can say 'a doctor' but not 'a doctors'.
And finally, in number ten, advice is an uncountable noun –
so you cannot ask for 'an advice'.
Now a quick note here: the article 'the' can be used with
all kinds of nouns – singular or plural countable nouns, and
uncountable nouns.
OK, so let's now talk about how to choose between 'a' or 'an'
and 'the'.
Here's rule number three: Use 'a' or 'an' to talk about a
person or thing unknown to your listener.
And use 'the' to talk about a person or thing known
to your listener.
For example, "My sister has two computers: a PC and a laptop.
The PC is quite old but the laptop is brand new."
I say 'a PC' and 'a laptop' because
that's the first time I'm mentioning the two computers.
That is, until this point, they are unknown to you, the
listener.
But now, I can say "The PC is quite old but the
laptop is brand new."
When I say 'the PC', you know which
one I'm talking about: my sister's PC.
And the same thing goes for the laptop.
So the PC and the laptop are now known to
you.
In English, 'a' and 'an' are called indefinite articles
because they talk about something that the listener
doesn't know about.
And 'the' is called the definite article
because the listener knows what you are referring to.
Here's another example: but now, can you fill in the gaps?
It's pretty simple: the first time I mention my tree, I'm
going to say 'a tree': so, "I planted a tree in my garden
last year."
Now you know about the tree, so I can say "The
tree has now grown big."
Now this was easy because we were talking about one tree.
But what if I planted two, three or four trees?
Well you know that we cannot use 'a' or
'an' with plurals.
But we can mention the exact number.
We can say "I planted four trees
in my garden last year."
Or if I don't want to say the number,
I can say "I planted some trees."
And then I can say "The trees have now grown big."
'The' simply means that you know which trees I'm talking
about.
In both of these examples, we first introduce something with
'a' or 'an' or 'some' and then we say 'the' because the
listener knows about them.
But sometimes, you don't need 'a'
or 'an' because your listener will automatically understand
what you are referring to.
For example, "Can you open the window?"
If we're sitting in a room, and if I say this to you,
you will know which window I'm talking about.
Or if I said, "I need to go back home.
I think I left the stove on."
That means, the stove might still be
burning, but which stove?
Well, you can understand from the
situation that I mean the stove in my house.
But this isn't always possible.
For example, if I say "The man is my boss."
You will ask – "Which man is your boss?"
It's confusing.
But what about if I say "The man in the grey suit
is my boss."
you know which one I'm talking about.
So here, we mention a noun with 'the' –
'the man' – and then we give information to identify that
noun – 'in the grey suit'.
Here's one final example: "Where's the money I lent you
last week?"
So I start with 'Where's the money' and then I
say which money – 'the money that I lent you last week'.
OK, let's now talk about rule number four: use 'a' or 'an' to
talk about nonspecific things or people.
What does that mean?
Well, here's an example: "Do you have
a pencil?"
If I ask you this question, then it probably
means I need a pencil to write with.
Now I say 'a pencil' because I mean 'any pencil' - I
don't care about any one specific pencil.
Compare this to the next sentence: "Do you
have the pencil that Kathy gave you?"
Here, I'm referring to a specific pencil.
Here's another example, "I want to buy an apartment" 'An
apartment' means I haven't decided which apartment.
Maybe I haven't even started looking
for one, but I just know that I want to buy some apartment.
But look at this next sentence: "I
want to buy the apartment that we visited."
So you know which apartment I'm talking about.
And here's one last example, "If you're feeling sick, you
should go and see a doctor."
Maybe you're saying this to give advice to a friend who
isn't feeling very well.
Here, we don't mean go and see a
specific doctor – we mean any doctor.
But let's say your friend takes your advice and
goes to a doctor.
When you see your friend again, you might
ask "What did the doctor say?"
Why are we saying 'the doctor'?
Because we mean that specific doctor who the friend visited.
So, notice again that we use 'a' or 'an' when we're talking
about a person or thing in general, and not a specific
person or thing (for that, we use 'the').
Alright, let's move on to rule number five now: use 'a' or
'an' to mention the category or type of a person or thing.
To understand this, I have a small exercise for you.
All of these sentences mention a
category of type of a person or thing.
But they're missing the articles.
I want you to put 'a' or 'an' in the correct place in
each of these sentences.
Stop the video, think about your
answers, then play the video again and check.
OK, in number one - "My car is a 2011 Ford Fusion."
So here, I mention 'my car' and then I
tell you the model of the car – '2011 Ford Fusion' – that is
basically the type of car that it is.
So we use 'a' before it.
Number two is "You can use your TV as a laptop monitor."
Here, the noun phrase 'laptop
monitor' says what type of thing your TV can be used as.
In number three, "Jim's daughter is an intelligent
girl."
We say what type of girl she is – 'an intelligent girl'.
Number four is "I'd like to become a member of your
library."
After the verb 'become' you see that I'm
saying what category I want to belong to – 'member of the
library'.
For this reason, 'a member'.
We talk about professions in the same way: "I'm a teacher."
(NOT "I'm teacher").
A person's profession says what category
they belong to, or what type of person they are.
So, you need to have 'a' or 'an' before the
profession.
Similarly, "He worked as a cashier for two
years."
So to mention a type or category, use 'a' or 'an'.
Alright, let's now turn to rule number six.
This rule is about how to make generalizations.
That is, how to talk generally about a whole group or class of
people or things.
So rule number six is generalize with plurals or
uncountable nouns with no article.
On the screen, there are six sentences.
I'd like you to find all the plural and uncountable
nouns.
Stop the video, do the exercise, then play the video
again and check.
OK, in number one, there are two plurals: 'teachers' and
'students'.
Here, we are not talking about any one teacher
or one student in particular.
We're saying that all teachers should be friendly to all
students.
In number two, 'dolphins' is a plural noun.
We're using it to say, generally, that all
dolphins are intelligent.
In number three, 'horror movies'
is what I'm generalizing about.
I'm saying I hate all horror movies – not a particular one.
In sentence number four, 'coffee' is an uncountable
noun, and we use no article before it because, again, we
want to ask if Pablo likes coffee in general.
Number five has two uncountable nouns in
'exercise' and 'health'.
We don't use any articles before
them because this is a general statement of fact or truth.
And finally, number six is the same
kind of sentence – it also has two uncountable nouns –
'education' and 'life'.
Now this is the common way of generalizing.
But there's one another way of doing it.
With countable nouns, you can
generalize by using 'a' or 'an' with a singular countable noun
to mean every single one – that is every member of a group.
For example: "A teacher should be friendly to his or her
students."
It has the roughly same meaning as when we say
'teachers' but it's slightly different because it's like
saying "Every teacher should be friendly to his or her
students."
Here's one more example: "The dolphin is a very
intelligent animal."
Again, same meaning as saying
"Dolphins" but we mean 'every dolphin'.
So remember that this form – generalizing with 'a', 'an' or
'the' can only be used with singular countable nouns AND
when we mean 'every single one'.
So I cannot say "I don't enjoy watching a horror movie
or the horror movie."
Here, only the plural form is
possible.
It's the same thing with all the other sentences.
OK, let's now talk about rule number seven: and that is where
to use NO article.
This is very important and this is one place where mistakes are
very common because there are many situations where you
should NOT use an article.
In a separate lesson we will focus
on all of these situations but here's a short list.
We use NO article in front of proper nouns – that is names of
people or places.
We don't say 'a Steve', 'the Priya' etc.
We just say their names without
'the'.
It's the same thing for places.
However, some place names have 'the' as part of the name.
Such as the United States, the
United Kingdom and so on.
With these, of course, you must use
'the'.
We also usually use no article with names of games and
languages.
Then there are many fixed expressions that have no
article – you have to learn these through experience and
practice to use them correctly.
You see some of these on the screen.
It's a good idea for you to memorize as many of
these as possible.
Alright, if you're ready, now it's time for a quiz to see if
you can use articles correctly.
On the screen, you see some sentences with blanks in them.
In each blank, I want you to put 'a', 'an', 'the' or 'no
article'.
That symbol – a zero with a line through it is just
to say 'no article'.
OK, stop the video, try the exercise,
then play the video and check.
OK, here are the answers.
You can stop the video and check
them with your answers if you like.
