Seoul's top security advisor made a surprise visit to Washington to meet with his American

counterpart John Bolton.

The two agreed to continue close cooperation and communication to ultimately establish

lasting peace on the Peninsula.

Hwang Hojun shares with us what was discussed.

Ahead of the historic cross-border summit, South Korea and the U.S. agreed to continue

working closely together to ensure their respective summits with North Korea are successful.

The Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae announced on Wednesday that Seoul's National Security

Office director Chung Eui-yong met with the newly appointed U.S. National Security Advisor

John Bolton in Washington on Tuesday local time.

Chung's visit to Washington was the second one this month alone.

His meeting with Bolton took about an hour as they exchanged their views on the upcoming

summits and pledged to continue close bilateral cooperation and communication.

"Chung and Bolton agreed that President Moon and President Trump will hold a telephone

conversation immediately after the inter-Korean summit and discuss the summit's outcomes."

And apparently, there will be more than just a phone call; we can expect the leaders of

Seoul and Washington to speak face-to-face soon after.

"Chung and Bolton have also agreed to push for a meeting between the two presidents before

the U.S.-North Korea summit."

President Trump has said his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will likely

take place in May or early June.

President Moon has said time and again that success at the inter-Korean summit must lead

to a successful summit between Washington and Pyongyang.

That's the way to achieve complete denuclearization and establish lasting peace on the Peninsula.

And the recent talks between the top security advisers of South Korea and the U.S. show

both countries are determined to make that happen.

S. Korea's export goods index has rebound to an increase in March - Duration: 0:36.

The nations export goods index rebounded,... thanks to strong semiconductor exports.

According to the Bank of Korea,... it jumped 3-point-4-percent on-year in March,... ending

the falling trend which began in November.

Terms of trade on the other hand... dipped for the fourth month in a row due to a sharp

rise in import costs.

The BOK added the terms of trade index came to 97-point-7-7 last month,… down 1-point-9-percent

from a year earlier.

The index measures the amount of imports a nation can purchase for each unit of goods

exported,… to show the relative performance of its exports.

Two more S. Koreans reported injured in Toronto van rampage - Duration: 0:47.

Over in Canada.

The death toll from the van attack on pedestrians currently stands at 10,... with 15 others

injured.

According to Seoul's foreign ministry... as of Wednesday morning... it's confirmed two

of the deceased are South Korean nationals.

Two more have been added to the list of Koreans injured, bringing that total to three.

All 17 South Koreans who initially couldn't be contacted... have been reached and are

confirmed safe.

The ministry added that South Korea's consulate general in Toronto is working closely with

the local police to identify the victims and set up a help desk.

Meanwhile, the suspect, a 25-year-old college student identified as Alek Minassian, has

been charged with first degree murder and attempted murder.

A white rental van, allegedly driven by him, ploughed into pedestrians Monday in downtown

Toronto.

U.S. Pacific Commander Adm. Harry Harris likely to be named as U.S. ambassador to S. Korea: Reports - Duration: 1:59.

For too long the post of America's ambassador to South Korea has been left vacant.

The Trump administration may have finally made up its mind on a candidate for that job.

Park Ji-won gets us up to speed with the developments.

Several major media outlets including the Washington Post, Reuters, and CNN,... have

reported,... quoting unnamed U.S. government sources,... that U.S. Pacific Commander Admiral

Harry Harris is likely to be named as the U.S. ambassador to South Korea.

The top U.S. military official was initially tapped as ambassador to Australia in February,...

but the confirmation hearing on that matter, which was originally slated for Tuesday this

week,... was postponed.

The Senate Foreign Relations spokesperson told to CNN that the hearing was postponed

until early May at the request of the administration.

Reports claim that current CIA Director and nominee for Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

asked the U.S. Navy Admiral to take up the post of ambassador to South Korea,... which

has been vacant since the start of the Trump administration in January last year.

Harris himself has also reportedly confirmed to Pompeo that he is willing to take the post

as the ambassador to South Korea.

Previously, well-known professor and expert on the Korean peninsula Victor Cha was considered

by the Trump administration as the candidate for the ambassador role in South Korea,...

but the White House said in February that it no longer considered him for the post,...

as he had expressed concerns about the possible use of a preventive military strike on North

Korea.

Charge d'Affaires Marc Knapper has been serving as the acting U.S. ambassador in Seoul,...

since previous ambassador Mark Lippert departed at the end of the Obama administration.

There is one great functionality to the case,

and that is the stand that is hidden in the back of the case

We are already fishing and I started at..

4:30 because i had some nice bends that i wanted to fish as the first one this year

And the one bend that i fished, i actually managed to hook up on a fish

But since I'm so fond of catch & release, well I thought why not let this beauty go

An opening day fish is not that nice to catch anyways

Then you have to make space in your freezer and stuff like that

So catch & release is important! Remember that

But yeah, the season opening has been lovely so far

It's raining, but the most important part is that it is not freezing or super windy

There has been caught some kelt around me

I've actually heard of 4 kelt already

And I think it's because of this cold spring we've had this year

But there's a ton of people here

The parking lot at "Gjaldbæk" is full of people and cars

And that super cool, because it makes it so nice to be here with all these nice people

Everybody is just so happy to be here and it's just amazing to be back at the river

I probably fished for 1 hour and then spend maybe 1,5 hours just talking

So that's perfect! Just as an opening day should be, so..

Because of this really cold spring we've had here

So it's been a real shitty opening day

Well it has actually been a blast! But the fishing has been awful

But all the usual lads from out here has come for the opening day

And it has been..

Such a good time!

Just so damn awesome!

And we are at the Zpey Lodge now throwing a party

Champagne has peen popped and there's more champagne to come

So I'll have a blast and sleep in my little tent

Here at the Zpey lodge

And I actually realized that i want to use nylon instead of braided line

Because I simply do not want to use braided anymore

I want to land some damn fish now - so nylon it is!

So the next video will be..

About fishing with nylon and hopefully that will result in more fish being landed

My rate of actually landing my salmon is 25% now

And we need to improve that, so..

So tune in next time when we'll fish with 0,35mm nylon

And then we'll hopefully land some salmon, cause now it's salmon season again!

Belgium has a road network that might have the same miles of the US!

The journey went on so monotonously, repetitive and with a little difficulty

After Belgium, finally in Great Britain and there

again new feelings

From Dover on

throughout England, Wales, Ireland, It was a trip almost from pub to pub

The pub is part of their culture of their society and for me at the end of the day

it was where I decided to stop

so I could meet people

and find ospitality

It was in the pub I could ask information about the road

or find a place to pitch my tent.

It happened in Petersfield where I parked Peyton and

slept peacefully in the pub's courtyard.

But where are we now ... Russia?

Then in Ireland it can still happen to be hosted in a farm

and chop wood

for a bed and a meal

We are going to France, sun is shining, it's a beautiful day

then we start going down south ... what else?

When I saw the coast of the Normandy from the ferry

I wandered if June 6th 1944 the soldiers who were about to land there

had seen that coast the same way I did

Normandy was a mandatory stop because Eurovespa was also a journey

through Europe's history , I had to go there because

modern Europe was kinda born there

These guys guided me here!

After Omaha Beach I finally started to go down south

which in my mind meant warm weather, seeing the sea again

and so many other things that were actually very different in reality

I was sure that Spain was warm weather, sunny,

but it is mountains, snow... it's okay, we are on our way to Santiago by Vespa!

Once we entered Portugal,

we went to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost spot in Europe

It was awkward, I was very happy to be successful

to get Peyton up there, on the other hand, looking at the ocean

I suddenly realized that I it was time to go home

I could not have gone any further

AfterCabo da Roca it has been a long trip back home, there were still many

miles to do, I went fast in the sun, fighting headwinds sometimes

especially on the French coast but with the enthusiasm of

who felt that this small expedition was accomplished.

I did not know if I was happy

to be almost home, or sad because there were just a few km left

Finally home was right there

Eurovespa had become a journey where I was never alone

It had become a collective journey, I have traveled together with all the people

that day after day kept on following my journey from

home, through social networks through newspaper, articles

and It had also become kind of everyone's journey

I realize now that I would have never made this happen

without people's help

without those who have had either a good word for me and showed me the way

or encouraged me, fed me and helped me

overcome the hardest moments

In this sense Eurovespa is much more than

I expected before leaving, and it is the most important thing

I bring home from this travel
