Easter and Happy Passover to everyone yeah how everyone's having to find time
with their family are you yeah we had a really good thing so far Steven sent me
on a scavenger hunt this morning I thought it was really sweet and there
was like who's almost eight we actually like recorded it but I felt it was
pretty special so he said it not that but we just wanted to wish everyone
happy Easter and do a quick short video about military and holidays so today is
Easter Easter Sunday and I actually have a list of all the federal holidays that
are recognized by the federal government and since people in the Army Navy
Marines Coast Guard reserves and National Guard and everyone in between
our government employees are employees of the prominent defense aka the deep
deep then they typically get federal holidays off so yeah
here are the 2018 federal holidays in the dates so Monday January 1st New
Year's Day Monday January 15th my favorite holiday
I'm Hartman for King Junior Day um February 19th Washington's Birthday is
technically the name of the holiday as it is written by Congress but it's been
nicknamed president stick it was actually Washington's Birthday the
holidays actually called Washington's Birthday um May 28th which is another
monday is Memorial Day mm-hmm um Wednesday this year July 4th falls on
which is Independence Day I couldn't call July 4th holiday they called it
Independence Day and I called on Wednesday this year July 4 um so to our
third so Monday Labor Day November 12th which is on my day Veterans Day November
22nd which is Thanksgiving just Thursday which is always on Thursday yeah and
then um this year Christmas falls on a Tuesday which is December 25th
now I don't work for the military so obviously things are gonna depend on
where you're at and while you're in your career and things like that but these
are federal holidays scheduled for 2018 so all the days I gave that's actually
the days that follow on so the crow flies gonna fall on Wednesday this year
so yeah so I'm really excited that Easter falls on Sunday because I know
everyone will most people hopefully everyone who would like to have it off
has it off today and it's just difficult all of a so happy Easter kin and Happy
Passover and then I'll split off yeah what about yeah what do you that for
Easter Sunday well because I am my unit in particular
they wanted to give us Easter off the list didn't include Easter but my unit
chose to have it off and so thank goodness but they gave us a four-day
weekend and that's it's pretty typical that that happens with holidays but I
was given a four-day weekend this time and it feels pretty good I had Friday
off and I will have Monday off as well so you're all tomorrow yeah I'm off
tomorrow lucky jack but sunday is a hot Sunday so bleep off anyway cuz you're
not employed but you're okay so but it's so I think that's really awesome that
you were given Friday and Monday off yeah so that's four days off you know
that makes gives you two short weeks and that's really nice I think so you can go
out of town is it family yeah so yeah it's always really good to try to plan
ahead or find out what holidays you're going to get off whether they're federal
holidays or religious holidays again Easter is religious holiday I love me
serves all of Easter yeah but I will also put a list of all the federal
holidays and I recognized by Congress in which most government agencies will give
their employees off and I will put those in our description and again we just
wanted to do a quick video we've been gone for a while we are not a lot of
projects right now we're trying to give you a lot of good clear information
about military about just money-wise things in general that we're fighting
out on our own you know we're just taking it day by day new to crazy will
any old Cigna day by day and I'm really excited by my possibly going to be an
Easter basket I wove it he wove a himself is this a dream dress bag it is
thanks so go oh yeah and there has little little candies and it I haven't
opened one of them yet Oh mmm those are recent you know butter like Reese's
Pieces one thank you I made two for both of us alright anyways I hope you all had
I did my basket there's got to be a first taxi would find something for
holiday until I think it's really sweet and tender we're going it's okay it's
only is that Easter and our future I don't you think we're everywhere
together no we're separated and so I'm excited
