wanted to show you how to different consistencies of nail polish react to my

type of nail polish remover as you can see this nail polish has quite a bit of

glitter and in my experience they form for a long time it can be quite tough to

remove with cotton balls this pink one is more of a solid color which means the

removal of it goes more smoothly I'm using the sponge remover that became

quite the must have some time ago at first I was skeptical of its ability to

remove nail polish but the cleanup of a sponge itself and the reusability of it

makes it my favorite way to remove nail polish as you can see it removes the

nail polish perfectly

since I was small I have always prefer to use the nail file rather than the

nail cutter because I feel it gives you more control of the shape and length of

the nail here I'm using a glass nail filer I

brought at a pharmacy in Germany yesterday I chipped my nail slightly on

the side as you can see giving it a sharp edge so I'm just going to file the

end down I don't really like making the rest of the nail the same shape as what

the chip gave me because it makes my nails much more vulnerable and breakable

so I like to keep them square but everyone has different nail sizes and

strength so find a shape that works with you now that all my nails are around the

same length I'm going to move the cuticle back slightly I'm not a big fan

and removing your cuticles because the cuticle is an important part of healthy

nail growth as it acts as a barrier between the outside world and your nail

bed it also prevents cuts around the skin at the bottom of your nail which

can be extremely painful and can easily get infected next I'm going to clean the

underside of the nail this is a step that is often overlooked by many but if

you have long nails or planning to grow your nails this step is essential as

dust and grime hide under your nails and it can get quite gross so hygiene is

important now my favorite of all the small squabbit in the routine it is

equally important to take care of your hands just as you care for your nails

they come together not separately I'm just taking a small dollop of this

fasten body hand scrub which smells amazing I'm going to wet my hand

slightly so I can use the scrub coffee this is going to help get rid of the

dead skin cell stimulate blood flow and your hands filled baby soft

now just rinse your skin should already feel very soft but it is crucial to keep

it hydrated as well I'm using a Eucerin lotion although it doesn't smell great

it is one of the most hydrating creams I could find now I'm just squeezing a

coin-sized out of the cream and I'm going to rub it in if you remember

cuticles are very important so it's good to treat them once in a while with oil

to keep them healthy I like to use this oil for the whole nail giving it a good

coverage the last step is to rub it in your nails and your hands should feel as

good as new for the optional step apply a coat of nail strengthener I recommend

this people with weak nails or those who have just removed acrylic or gel Ishmael

I bought this no strength in England so I'm not sure if they sell it anywhere

else but any type will do I highly suggest the ones with argan oil to use

they're usually high in vitamins and minerals if you want any of the products
