Connect with your audience - featuring Nick Uhas - Duration: 5:13.
Ask any YouTube creator what they
like best about their jobs, and they'll often tell you
the one thing over and over again — connecting
with their audience.
Creators find that the more they give their audience,
the more their audience gives back to them.
Think of it like having a conversation with a friend,
or 1,000 of them.
As you start to connect more with your audience,
remember that building relationships online
takes time and energy just like it does offline.
It might be tough to know where to focus that energy.
But if you study your fan base, you
will begin to figure out the best way to interact with them.
Here are a bunch of built-in tools
with YouTube that can help you interact with your audience
and show them some love.
Use the Comments section.
Conversations are naturally going
to happen in the Comments section of your videos.
Harness their power by promoting quality discussions.
Try to be the first to comment on your videos,
and consider making it a habit to respond
to comments in the first few hours after a video goes up.
Another tactic is to only respond to meaningful comments,
so users don't expect their comments like, "First!"
will get creators to interact.
You can utilize YouTube's Comment Moderation tools
to grow stronger communities and have
more constructive conversations in your Comments sections.
I get like very, very, very valuable information
and great ideas out of working with my community
and utilizing the Comments section.
I made a video about redheads.
There was a lot of information about genetic coding
that I did not know about redheads.
And in the Comments section, in engaging with my viewers,
I learned so much about genetics.
Use the tools on YouTube.
When you heart a comment, a notification
is sent to the commenter so that they
know that you've recognized them for their contribution.
And, well, they're going to love your channel if they feel
like they've been recognized.
Remember, everyone can like a comment
but only creators can show some love by hearting.
Pinning comments allows you to have
more control over your page by setting the tone
of your Comment thread.
If you're able to, choose and showcase the comments
from viewers that you think are most worth highlighting.
It's also a helpful tool for conversation.
For example, if you ask the question in your video
and a viewer was able to nail the answer,
you can pin the comment so that everyone can see that answer.
Did you know that your username looks
different than other usernames in the Comments section?
Your username is surrounded with a pop of color,
so your replies to your viewers' comments
will stand out from the crowd.
So while there might be hundreds of comments on your videos,
your viewers will know when you have responded to them.
And that recognition encourages your viewers
to keep engaging in your channel.
Also, use the Creator Studio mobile app
for comment moderation when you're on the go.
Get your audience involved.
Consider asking your audience for feedback on what
your next video should be.
You can do this in either the video itself
or in the Comments section below.
Everybody does that.
One of the ways I've included my audience in my content
is literally just answering the questions
that they have asked in the Comments section.
Somebody asked, do aliens exist?
And so, we made a whole video about,
do aliens actually exist?
Make sure your audience is in the know.
Viewers can choose their frequency of notifications they
receive, all or occasional.
Ask your audience to subscribe and tap the bell.
To make sure they get notifications
of all new activities that happen on your channel,
all subscribers will see every new video you
upload in the Subscriptions tab and receive some notifications
with the highlights from your channel.
But only those who [INAUDIBLE] will
be notified for every single video uploaded.
Reward your superfans.
Some creators make exclusive content
for their most loyal fans.
Special unlisted videos or hosting
live streams to reward the top community
members are two ways that creators can reward their fans.
On our channel, we certainly have
people that go above and beyond as far as being like superfans.
One thing that we did early, early on in the channel
is we made we made T-shirts.
It's very simple, it's very easy.
And we signed them and we sent them out.
People then would send it to me on my social the picture
of them wearing it, and then we'd call back out to them
on social.
I'm generally really stoked that these people are
that excited about our videos.
Building a community of fans all your own is a powerful thing.
So, what has worked for you in the past?
Let us know in the Comments section below.
And don't forget to subscribe.

Foster a positive community - featuring Jackie Celona from jcrpr0ductions - Duration: 3:05.
Foster a positive community
On YouTube, you have an opportunity
to connect with people all over the world.
Here are a few key tips that help you more easily moderate
your community, protect your privacy, and stay safe online.
Set the tone of your conversation
Setting a good example in your comments and behavior
can help align your community to do the same.
It's up to you to set the tone of the conversation.
If there's a negative comment, delete it or direct it
towards a more positive light.
It's important to not let anyone put negativity into this world.
Using a block list and comment moderators--
you can block certain words or phrases
from coming up in your comments section with a block list.
Go to Creator Studio, select Community settings.
And from there you can edit your filters.
You can also nominate members of your community
to be comment moderators.
They can help you moderate your channel
when you're not online by removing potentially
inappropriate comments.
When you're back online, you can review and decide
whether to block the comments or to allow them in your channel.
As a channel owner, you can also remove any unwanted comments
and report spam or abuse to YouTube for repeat offenders.
And the offenders are not alerted if you block them.
Pause before you respond.
My number one thing is to think before you react.
Occasionally, there have been times
when I've replied to a comment too quickly before I've really
thought it through and later I've
regretted even posting at all.
Remind yourself and your community
that behind every comment is a real person.
When you respond, keep these things in mind.
Think about your tone and the way
you want to steer the conversation before responding.
Ask for help when you need it.
And remember we all have to play a part
in making the internet a safe, inclusive, and respectful place
for everyone.
Share with care.
Think before you post anything online that
might give away information you don't
want becoming public knowledge.
To protect my privacy, I'm very careful about what I post
online and show in my videos.
I don't show the address on my house.
I like to keep those details personal for safety reasons.
Don't forget to check your account privacy settings too.
Keep your account safe.
Many people use simple, personal details to password
protect their accounts.
Avoid using information like birthdays or phone numbers
when selecting passwords.
And make sure to use different passwords for your accounts.
You don't want someone hacking through one account
and being able to control all of your other ones.
Set up your password recovery options
and keep them up to date.
To add an extra layer of security,
consider enabling 2-step verification.
Manage impersonation on YouTube.
If you think another channel is using your name and image
to impersonate your channel, you should check out
some of the reporting options YouTube offers.
Thanks for watching.
Don't forget to subscribe.
Bye.

2009-2014 F150 Barricade Raptor Style Grille w/ LED Lighting Review & Install - Duration: 2:28.
Hey, I'm Alex from AmericanMuscle.com and this is my review and install of the Barricade
Raptor Style Grille with LEDs fitting the 2009 through 2014 F-150.
In this video, we're gonna talk about the construction and materials as well as the
installation of this grille, which right off the bat, I'm gonna give an easy one out of
three wrenches on the difficulty meter.
You should have this on your truck in about one to two hours tops.
So you should be taking a look at this grille if you're looking for something a little bit
more on the aggressive side, as well as not looking like every other F-150 on the road.
With a rugged aggressive appearance that features a diamond honeycomb pattern that's reminiscent
of the SVT Raptors as well as the three LEDs up top on the grille, you're gonna be sure
to turn heads be it on the jobsite, trails, or even your daily commute.
Now, terms of the construction of this grille, we're gonna say it's comprised of ABS plastic
material, which means that it's not only going to be lightweight and tough but it's also
going to be the ideal material for either on or off-road use.
Barricade then finishes this off with an OE dark charcoal style finish which in my opinion
meshes really well with the trim on the factory F-150.
In terms of the installation of this grille, this is gonna be a true bolt-on mod which
means that there's not gonna be any type of cutting or modification required.
This grille is going to install using all of your factory hardware as well as mounting
points.
And again, I would give this a one out of three easy wrenches on the difficulty meter,
and about one to hours to get this installed.
I would add that you are going to need a basic socket set as well as hex bits to get this
installed on your truck.
And the LED option grille is going to install slightly different than that of the standard
Raptor style grille as you're going to need to tap into a power source for the three LEDs
up top.
Now you can either run these into your parking lights, your fog lights, or your headlights.
And at the end of the day, it's really gonna come down to personal preference.
Now, in terms of pricing of the LED equipped grille, we're gonna see these fall in line
right around 349.99 in comparison to 249.99.
Now that's a huge plus, in my opinion, based on the fact that if you're looking at other
grilles, you'll them easily fit the scales north of about a thousand dollars, depending
on the materials as well as if they have LED light bars installed in them.
All right, guys, so just to wrap things up here, if you're looking for an alternative
style grille for your F-150 and wanna mimic the styling of the SVT Raptor without paying
an arm and a leg, I would definitely suggest checking out the Barricade Raptor Style Grille
with LEDs fitting your '09 through '14 F-150 right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

2015-2016 F150 Flowmaster Outlaw Cat-Back Exhaust w/ Black Tips 5.0L Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 5:46.
Hey guys.
I'm Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and this is my detailed review and install of the Flowmaster
Outlaw Series CatBack Exhaust System, available for your 2015 and up 5-liter powered F-150.
In this video, I'm gonna break down what kinda sound you can expect when going with the Outlaw
series here from Flowmaster.
I'm also going to dissect the construction and materials.
And then finally, I will talk about the install.
One out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter for most of you out there.
Again, very straightforward, bolt-on affair.
There is a small amount of cutting needed for some people out there but we will talk
about that later on with the install.
So who is this one for?
Well, this is an easy one, guys.
The Outlaw Series from Flowmaster is gonna be for the 5-liter truck owners out there
who wanna be heard, as the Outlaw is definitely one of Flowmaster's most aggressive offerings.
I'm even willing to say this is probably one of the most aggressive CatBacks in the aftermarket.
Now, the Flowmaster is also gonna be one of your only choices here on the site to give
you some options when it comes to mounting.
You can have this thing be a dual-split side exit or a dual-split rear exit, thanks to
the included piping that Flowmaster throws in.
With all that said, let's dive a little deeper.
Since this is an exhaust, let's talk sound.
And as you guys heard with the sound clip with our 5-liter truck, as advertised, the
Outlaw is an absolute screamer, an easy 5 out of 5 on my 1 to 5 or 1 to wake-the-neighbors
scale, and probably one of the most aggressive systems I've personally heard on our 5-liter
truck to date.
Now, as loud as this thing is on the outside, you're getting an equal amount of noise on
the inside.
Some of you guys might like that, others may not.
If your truck is a family hauler, you do a lot of long roadtrips, this one might bug
the wife and the kids after a few hours on the road.
So if you're after that Flowmaster iconic sound, but maybe you wanna keep things a little
bit more quiet on the inside of the cab, you might wanna check out the Force 2 or even
the American Thunder as well.
So we've established this thing is loud with our sound clips and our very accurate, very
scientific wake-the-neighbors scale, but what else can you expect when checking out the
Outlaw here?
Well, I think one of the coolest features with this system is the fact that again, you
can have this thing be a dual-split side exit or a dual-split rear exit depending on your
mood, thanks to the included piping here from Flowmaster.
And honestly, Flowmaster is one of the only companies I've seen offer this to date here,
and that does give them an edge up in this department.
As you might expect, that extra bit of piping will add to the price slightly, but not as
bad as you might think.
In fact, the Flowmaster is an easy, middle-of-the-road choice here when it comes to aftermarket CatBacks,
along with the Magnaflow stuff, and even some of the stainless work stuff to a certain extent.
You're gonna be looking at right around $800 for this guy, which really, again, isn't all
that bad when you consider you're getting a configurable system here, something those
other options aren't giving you, and you're also getting some pretty solid materials as
well.
And speaking of materials, the Outlaw Series does feature 409 grade Stainless Steel throughout
here, and much like that price being middle-of-the-road, the 409 grade Stainless is a middle-of-the-road
material.
It's not 304 grade on the high side and it's not aluminized steel on the low side, instead,
it's a very solid material that Flowmaster incorporates with a lot of their systems and
will do a pretty good job at reducing corrosion in the saltier climates or winters.
Going even further with the construction here, you're gonna find three-inch Mandrel Bent
Tubing from tip to tip here, along with that 409 grade Stainless Steel construction.
Like we just talked about, the little baby Outlaw Series muffler here, isn't it so cute,
and then finally, the dual four-inch tips, black obviously, these guys are actually ceramic,
they're not painted, which is really good, because that ceramic coating is gonna be far
more durable, reduce any fading or chipping over the years.
As far as changing the pipe layout with detail, pipes here going from that dual-split side
exit to the dual-split rear exit, it's actually very easy to do, and something that you can
do with the rest of the system already installed.
You don't have to drop the entire system to do it.
You got these two pipes here, which are your dual-split side exit.
These two pipes are your dual-split rear exit.
And everything's basically secured with two clamps when it comes to changing these guys
out.
So ultimately, very easy, very quick to change out if you ever wanted to do so.
Speaking of wrenching, the install of the Flowmaster Outlaw Series is gonna be very
simple, very straightforward for a majority of truck owners out there.
However, a small amount of people will need to cut, basically, regular cab owners, eight-foot
bed, super crew owners with a six and a half-foot bed, there's a single cut needed but Flowmaster
lays out everything very clearly and makes it very easy for you to do.
So if you are one of the owners that have to cut, just make sure you have your Sawzall
and a fresh metal blade, of course.
Everybody else, a basic socket set is really all you need to get everything in place.
One out of three wrenches again on my scale of difficulty, maybe an hour or two in the
garage or driveway before you're making some loud noises.
Listen guys, if you like being heard and don't mind a good bit of interior noise at the same
time, the Outlaw Series from Flowmaster might just be the exhaust for you.
The quality of build, the materials, the interchangeable exhaust tips, and of course, that earth-shaking
tone make it a great buy at $800.
And you can find yours right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

2015-2016 F150 Corsa Exhaust Sound Clip 3" Sport Cat-Back 5.0L Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 5:08.
what's going on everybody Justin with
americanmuscle.com here with my detailed
review of the course of sport 3-inch
single side exit exhaust systems
available with the pro series tip
fitting your 2015 and up 5 liter powered
super crew and super cab f-150
alright guys in this video we're going
to cover some ground here with the
course of sport including what you can
expect as far as sound what you're going
to be looking at as far as basic
materials and construction and then
finally a quick little topical overview
of the install itself now speaking of
the install guys pretty straightforward
here no cutting no permanent
modification needed for your super crew
or super cab so for that reason alone
we'll call it one out of three wrenches
on the difficulty meter I have a little
bit more detail coming up later on
alright guys no matter how you slice it
the course of systems are definitely
going to be one of your more premium
options when it comes to aftermarket
exhaust solutions for your Mustang your
f150 whatever now as such they are going
to carry a premium price tag but they're
going to produce some top-quality
systems as far as overall build quality
and also sound now as you guys heard
with your own two ears with the sound
clips here the Corsa definitely produced
some pretty solid tone overall with
their sports system and keep in mind
guys this is their milder of the two
options the extreme is their slightly
more aggressive system breaking out to
wake the neighbors scale
I'm going to go strong 3 out of 5 here
guys with the course of sport you're
getting a lot of Rumble here from this
system but at the same time again it's
not going to be the loudest system out
there and one thing to keep in mind to
hear with the course of systems you're
not getting any drone whatsoever and
speaking to that lack of drone guys now
even though you're getting a good amount
of sound on the inside the interior
noise again is practically non-existent
a big portion of that is due to courses
RSC or reflective sound cancellation
technology it is their patented tech
gear and again it's going to keep the
interior noise to an absolute minimum
even with their most aggressive systems
with the sound pretty much covered here
guys let's move on to the materials of
the construction here with the Corsa
system and like we've come to expect
from Corsa nothing but the best here
guys premium grade 304 stainless steel
throughout
three-inch mandrel-bent tubing perfect
welds I mean this is what you really
want to see we are dropping some big
dough in a premium system like this as
far as the configuration is concerned
guys this is a single side exit system
much like your factory configuration
however the Corsa is packing one of the
best tips in the category and that's the
Pro Series twin 4-inch tip shown here at
they're very attractive black chrome
plating now this thing is just awesome
guys I really prefer the black chrome I
think it's very sharp however if you did
want to go with a more traditional
polished or chrome look you can
definitely pick that up here on the site
still actually cost you a little less
than the black chrome option on the
topic of price guys again Corsa a
premium brand a premium system and as
such you're going to be paying a premium
price tag expect this thing to land
right around the $1100 mark which puts
it right in line with some of the Borla
and Ford Racing options as top honors in
the pricing category now even though
that price tag might be a little
difficult for some people out there the
install certainly will not be this is a
very simple one out of three wrench job
on my difficulty scale maybe an hour to
again in the shop or garage before
you're making some noise with your 5
liter truck this is a direct replacement
for all super crew or super cab owners
out there so removing the factory
catback getting the new Corsa installed
will not require any cutting whatsoever
and can easily be done with a set of
basic hand tools as for my final
thoughts here guys yes the Corsa systems
are going to command a top dollar price
tag but yes you're getting an awesome
system and exchange between the black
twin pro series tip here the premium
materials and build quality and the
awesome exhaust tone for your coyote
f150 there's really a lot to like here
with the Corsa if you can swallow that
price tag so that's my review of the
course single side exit system for your
5 liter truck which you can grab right
here at americanmuscle.com
