I'm so nervous,
but I'm relieved that Taejoon is here.
- Do you know each other well? / - You must be close.
- Motorcycle. / - We like riding mopeds,
so after talking for a while, we became close.
Who else are you close with other than you two?
Kim Raewon in my neighborhood.
- Kim Raewon. / - Kim Raewon?
- He lives nearby. / - Who else?
Ji Changwook, whom Taejoon likes a lot.
- Ji Changwook. / - Incredible!
What do you do when all the handsome guys meet?
We sit down and keep pretending to be handsome.
- Goodness / - I see.
Is your group's name from the movie
where Sophie Marceau was in?
- That's right. / - In French,
- it means "party". / - It was really fun.
- It means we'll show a lot on stage. / - Exactly.
It reminds me of my old Italian nickname.
- What is it? / - "Petite".
Petite. Cuteness.
- Petite. / - Petite.
You know that nicknames are supposed to be
- made by others, right? / - I named it myself.
- That doesn't count. / - You named it yourself?
- I gave it myself. / - Then it's not a nickname.
Isn't it adorable? Petite, petite, petite.
(She tries to brainwash them.)

Laboum must have released a new song.
- Yes. / - What kind of song is it?

The song is called, "Hwi Hwi".
Minjun, does it make you happy just to look at them?
(His heart flutters already.)
Does it make you happy just to look at them?
Be careful to control the expressions on your face.
Minjun, it's better than staying at home, right?
- I'm so glad. / - Will you stand here? I'll stand...
("Hwi Hwi" by Laboum)
(It's time to party with Laboum.)
Great job.
(Even a playful kiss is okay.)
(Come to Laboum Land, the world of fantasy.)
(The refreshing girl group has changed in a nice way.)
(We chose to be refreshing and sexy at the same time!)
(Whistling)
(They're amazing.)
Minzy, how does it feel to see the juniors perform?
I find them so adorable. I'm very proud of them.
I also made my debut at their age...
At the same time, you'd think,
"What a relief that they don't dance as well as I do."
Don't you think that way?
No, I actually can't do this kind of cute dance.
Really? Show us your cool dance then.
Kong Minzy.
(Here comes the master of dance.)
Please play the music.
("Ninano" by Kong Minzy)
(With a turn,)
(his heart flutters.)
(The real dance begins now.)
(Ninano)
(Her dance moves make people drop their jaws.)
(Kong Minzy is the best dancer indeed.)
Great job!
We have three worries for the day.
Let's find out what they are.
(The keywords are revealed.)
"The Risky Man", "What a Tough Life",
"Suffocating Love".
(Laughing)
I'll read the story.
A woman in her 20s sent this story.
Hello.
I have a 4-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter.
I'm also delivering another baby this August.
I'm a mother in her 20s.
She's doing everything in her 20s.
What on earth did I do all this time?
I go through life or death situations
every single day.
It's because of my husband who turns evil
- every time he holds the steering wheel. / - I see.
Horn blowing.
"Drive faster, you dumb jerk!"
"Drive properly!"
- One day, he even / - That's intense.
swore at an elderly person.
"Why are you cutting in, you scumbag?"
"Young man, you're very blunt"
"with your words. How old are you?"
- "Darn goodness!" / - My gosh.
"Being old doesn't give you a credit! I have kids."
- My goodness. / - Seriously...
"Just stay at home if you're going to drive horribly."
"You brat, don't you have a father?"
(I'm afraid I'd bump into him on the street.)
The problem is that all of this happens
when my two kids and I are in the car together.
- Gosh, even with the kids? / - Really?
I'm afraid that something horrible might happen.
Please keep our family safe.
That's her story.
That explains the title, "The Risky Man".
Minjun, didn't you experience such when you drive?
I also can't control my anger.
- What? / - He can't control his anger.
Was that your story?
When do you lose your temper?
When people don't obey the rules.
When there's a traffic jam of several kilometers,
if a person cuts into the lane to turn right
- at the very end... / - When a person cuts in.
If a person cuts in like that,
I flare up.
Even if the other driver did something wrong,
if he's an elderly man, people usually let it slide.
- That's how most people are. / - It's rare
- for someone to keep yelling. / - Of course.
I guess he loses his reason at that moment.
That's right.
Please welcome the woman
of the story with an applause.
(Who's suffering from her reckless driving husband?)
(She doesn't ride the slide because she's pregnant.)
Come this way.
(I'll help you come up to the stage safely.)
(How nice of him.)
He held her hand tightly.
Her husband is watching. What if he flares up?
Please explain thoroughly of how he drives.
He drives as if he was competing at a racetrack.
He never yields to other drivers.
When the speed limit is 60km per hour,
he drives at 140km per hour.
He drives at that speed.
- It's almost a car race. / - He almost...
- Wait, he usually drives at 140km per hour? / - Yes.
Even though you and your kids are sitting
- in the back? / - Yes.
- That's dangerous. / - When he drives at such speed,
the car shakes.
You'd be moving like this throughout the ride.
Since I'm pregnant,
I get a cramp every time from riding
with anxiety.
- That's right. / - Really?
Don't you stop him from driving so recklessly
when you're in the car with him?
When I stop him, he suddenly changes.
- Really? / - He starts frightening me.
Even at a red light,
he'd stop the car suddenly instead of slowing down
to make me stumble to the front.
- Otherwise... / - Why does he do that?
He does that because you stop him?
- To express his anger. / - Why would he do that?
He'd drive really close to another car
to scare me, then I'd be short of breath.
When I say, "Honey, I can't breathe. Please stop,"
he says, "I better drive faster so you can rest soon."
- How mean. / - He drives even faster.
We're losing our temper from listening to your story.
- Please tell us. / - Tell us slowly.
A truck driver was trying to cut in one day.
He didn't yield and got himself into a quarrel.
The truck driver showed a finger at him
and drove off to the next lane.
- That got him super upset, / - Did he chase after him?
- so he followed the truck. / - My goodness.
We couldn't find him,
but after driving around the area many times...
- He was trying to find the car he missed? / - Exactly.
- Incredible. / - Where was the truck?
It was parked in front of a restaurant.
- He found it after all. / - He found it after all,
and he started yelling at him, "What did you do?"
They started arguing verbally...
- Your kids saw all of that? / - Yes.
- Seeing him fighting, / - That's really bad for them.
- they started crying. / - They must've been startled.
I stayed in the car
and consoled my crying kids.
(Her husband fought while her kids cried.)
- Why does he do that? / - How is he usually?
- He's usually very relaxed and easygoing. / - Really?
- He's kind to the kids. / - It's only when he drives?
- Unbelievable. / - He's an attentive husband to me.
- It's only in the car? / - He changes when he drives.
Does your husband drive often?
- He does delivery and drives a truck. / - He delivers?
He does delivery work? Then he'd get angry all day.
- He doesn't only commute. / - He loses temper.
We'll meet your husband, the road outlaw.
- Where are you? / - Hello.
What's wrong with his left arm?
What happened? Did you get hurt from driving?
I cut my hand from trimming vegetables yesterday.
Don't you swear at vegetables?
(Were the vegetables cursed by you?)
Why do you drive so recklessly?
I heard you're usually very mild.
I guess it's my instinct to turn violent when I drive.
What I don't get is the time when you went after
the car. How big of an incident was it?
When I asked, "Why don't you even turn on the blinker?"
He showed his finger and drove off while talking
on the phone, so I went to find him.
Eventually, I found him and asked what he was doing.
"My wife and my kids almost got hurt because of you."
He was trying to start a physical fight with me,
then my wife stopped us
and got him to apologize to me.
(Did you really have to do that?)
Have you ever cut in
another car when it cut in front of you
- without turning on the blinker? / - I'm sure he did.
- I never do that. / - You don't?
- I'd open the window and tell him. / - He tells him.
- Right away. / - All you need is an apology?
"Why did you cut in without turning on the blinker?"
However, when you curse out the driver by his side,
he keeps driving peacefully.
He can neither hear you nor open the window. What then?
That never happened.
When you scream, "Why didn't you turn on the blinker?"
If he responds, "I'm sorry," and leaves, is it okay?
- I'd say one more thing. / - You say more stuff?
- "Turn on the blinker next time." / - "Turn it on."
She wouldn't have sent the story if that's how it was.
- He doesn't say it like that, does he? / - No.
(He never says it that way.)
- He'd add swear words there. / - That's right.
Do you always have a reason to speed that much?
I work as an agricultural product wholesaler.
- To deliver fresh food... / - He's a nice man.
When I'm late with the delivery, my clients complain.
You've been late from arguing with another driver.
- Yes, many times. / - I knew it.
- What is that? / - You'd arrive sooner if you don't
fight with other drivers, yet you end up being late.
Why don't you think about that part?
That's why I drive faster. Since I got into a quarrel,
- in order to reduce time... / - To shorten the time...
Put yourself in her shoes. If someone yells at her,
"Stay home if you're pregnant," how would you feel?
I'd be angry,
but that never happened so far.
- You'd know when it happens. / - It has to happen?
Your kids and your pregnant wife were in the car,
yet you drove recklessly to scare them.
- Minzy, calm down. It's okay. / - It's dangerous.
I was driving well, but she kept nagging.
That's why I scared her so she would stop nagging.
It would've been fine if you agreed to drive safe.
I realized that I was wrong at that moment,
but I keep repeating the same mistake the next time.
(How could you even frighten your own family?)
Even though he speeds,
don't you end up being late from arguing with him?
We end up being late even though we need to hurry.
My kids got enteritis,
so we were on our way to a hospital.
However, he got into a fight with a taxi driver,
so our appointment was cancelled. He was treated later.
He got into a fight although your child was sick?
One day, my son bumped his head at the edge
of a table and bled a lot. It was
a very urgent situation, yet I became
more anxious by his driving while my son was crying.
I don't get why you must get into a fight with
another driver when you need to hit the hospital soon.
Even if you get into a fight, you must go.
Exactly. You should say, "I'm sorry, I must go now."
Still, when I get into a fight, I must settle it.
- Your son was sick though. / - Your son had enteritis.
- Have you never been in a car accident? / - A big one.
- I've never been in a big car accident. / - Never?
- He's never been in an accident? / - Small ones then?
- I think she has something to say. / - That's right.
Of course he's had a car accident.
He's even lying on top of losing temper now?
He was hospitalized from a back injury while driving.
He considered it a light injury that will heal
in two weeks. "A simple fix will suffice."
Then I accidentally read his text message.
The argument had turned into a physical fight,
and he broke the other driver's tooth.
Their settlement money was around 2,000 dollars.
- He does fight violently. / - He better not drive.
I don't remember it exactly...
- How can you not remember? / - The settlement money
- was 2,000 dollars. / - It wasn't an attack?
- I had many similar incidents. / - He had many.
- That time... / - You had many incidents like that?
- I had many trivial arguments. / - What was this
- with 2,000 dollars? / - After arguing
whose fault it was,
I think his tooth was broken from before.
(The two people cannot smile at all.)
Why did you hide it from your wife?
- I'm sure it's... / - I was afraid she'd scold me.
Didn't you lie again about cutting your hand?
- I don't think it was the vegetables. / - No, it's
all filmed by the surveillance camera.
- We'll verify later. / - I can submit evidence.
What do you mean? This isn't a police station.
- It must have happened a lot. / - Up until today,
how much did you spend for fine, settlement
and to deal with accidents?
We're like an insurance company.
- An insurance company. / - Out of my 13 years
of driving, including repair, raised insurance costs,
settlement money and all,
I've spent about 40,000 to 50,000 dollars.
- You are a reckless driver. / - How horrible!
He better not hold the steering wheel.
- You really are a wild driver. / - It's worth a car.
Did you know that he's spent about that much?
It's my first time hearing it.
- You feel the way I do? / - He doesn't tell her.
With that money...
What would you do with 10,000 dollars?
I'd buy clothes for my kids.
He doesn't let me buy their toys since it costs much.
- He doesn't let you buy toys? / - Really?
He says that they will get sick of it soon
and play with it only for a while. He cares about
money that much, so I had no idea he spent so much.
Exactly. He's inconsistent.
If you've lost that much money, why don't you
- drive yourself / - Exactly.
in case your child gets sick?
He doesn't let anyone else drive the car.
- He gets angry then? / - He doesn't let anyone drive.
Why don't you let her drive?
I'm afraid she'll get into a car accident.
What?
(I'm the one who should say that.)
You're afraid she'll get into a car accident?
Some people you know also came today. Who are they?
I came with my sister-in-law and his friend.
- Sister-in-law. / - Hello.
- Hello. / - Hello.
Do you get why she's upset?
I think the fact that she married him is a worry.
Why didn't you stop her in the first place?
She was already pregnant with her son...
- That was speedy too. / - Everything was fast.
There's a famous driving course in Daejeon
called "Daecheong Dam".
The road is very curvy
with a cliff right beside.
He drives at 90km to 100km there.
- 90km to 100km per hour? / - Even with your parents?
- Yes, with everyone. / - What do they say?
My mom says, "You brat, you could die alone."
"Why are you trying to kill us too?"
Your mother is quite blunt too.
- His flaw. / - He sings so much when he drives.
- What? / - He sings?
- Does he sing well? / - He closes his eyes,
- sings / - How dangerous.
- and drives recklessly. / - He sings?
Why do you sing so much?
I get absorbed into the music while listening to radio.
I sing along when I hear songs on the radio.
When you get into an argument with another driver,
you roll down the window and shout.
Since he drives every day,
the car became a space of his own.
If someone encroaches on his territory
- "This is my territory." / - or irritates him,
- He becomes stressed out. / - he becomes angry.
He only becomes that way when he is driving.
That's what I want to ask Minjung's sister-in-law.
Minjung says
her husband is usually quiet and gentle.
When he goes to a supermarket, he calls the family
- and asks if anyone needs snacks. / - He's kind.
He is very kind.
His change whenever he drives surprises everyone.
(I know that feeling.)
You know what happened before the marriage.
- Yes. / - Have there been any big accidents?
There has been a big accident neither my parents
nor Minjung knows about.
Look at the way he glares.
It was a secret between me and my brother.
My goodness.
Her eyes became wide.
Just as he drives cars fast now,
he used to enjoy the speed of motorcycles.
An elementary-schooler ran out in front of him.
In order to avoid hitting the child,
he rammed his motorcycle into a wall.
He had torn ligament and broken collarbone.
He had to be hospitalized for a few months
after a big surgery.
How did your parents not know?
He told our parents that he sustained injuries
from falling down the stairs.
However, I knew the truth.
- Pick up the microphone. / - Okay.
You said you have never been seriously injured.
(Your claim was false.)
A motorcycle accident doesn't count.
(I thought you only asked about car accidents.)
You mean we should have included motorcycle accidents.
I don't think my driving habits are serious.
- In order not to hurt the child, / - To avoid him...
I fell on my own and got injured.
After that accident, I don't drive motorcycles fast.
(He only drives cars fast.)
His friend is sitting next to his sister.
- Hello. / - Hello.
What do you think of your friend's driving habits?
I think the magnitude of his habits has been reduced.
- Reduced? / - I would know because I'm his friend.
When I'm in his car, I get afraid that I will die.
He makes abrupt cuts. I swear at him
because I get scared.
However, he doesn't listen.
- He was very timid back in school. / - Really?
However, he transformed
whenever he played soccer or other sports.
- He must be competitive. / - He is competitive.
He must become that way when he is in motion.
I can share a story from my early 20s.
When he showed up late to a gathering,
his friends poured a bottle of soju in a glass
and said, "Drink this since you are late."
- Did he finish it? / - Yes.
He finished it on the spot.
Then everyone became competitive.
They drank 13 bottles of soju on the spot.
(13 bottles of soju)
- Really? / - That happened.
I am glad that he doesn't drink anymore.
- He takes things to the end. / - He is competitive.
He wagers his life on trivial things.
The fact he stopped drinking tells me
- that there has been a major accident. / - Of course.
As for his drunken habits...
My goodness.
I will stop here.
(We know even when you don't tell us.)
Based on this worry,
we asked an expert for advice.
The expert said that your anger level is very high.
We were also told that losing your control in a car
could be due to the fact that you didn't
express your anger the right way as a child.
Thus, you gain a sense of freedom behind the wheel
and explode. That's what we got from the expert.
Have you tried helping him change his personality?
I have looked into psychotherapy.
I asked him if he wants to see a psychotherapist.
- He got angry, right? / - Yes.
- "Why would I see a psychotherapist" / - I knew it.
- "when I don't have a problem?" / - "I am not crazy."
"Only those with problems see a psychotherapist."
That's what he said to me.
Are you hoping that your husband will change
after he appears on Hello Counselor?
Yes. He doesn't let me talk about his driving habits.
However, he has no choice but to listen here
and share what's inside him.
I want him to know the seriousness of the situation.
He continues to create a situation
that harms his family as well as strangers.
It worries me.
His life will end if an accident he causes takes lives.
- That's right. / - He drives recklessly.
(A steering wheel is not a weapon.)
There is something you want to tell your husband.
I have a painful memory
that will upset my parents when they hear.
I had two miscarriages before I had my first child.
- Two miscarriages. / - That's a lot.
We fought a lot back then
because he drove the same way.
We had just gotten married
and we fought on that day because it was dangerous.
When I went to the hospital, the doctor told me
that my baby's heart had stopped.
My husband cried a lot, too.
My husband...
Your son is growing up well.
I was stressed out
due to our fights that stem from his driving habits.
Because we fought a lot,
I felt bad for my baby.
I blamed my husband a lot.
We promised to live in harmony without fighting.
However, his driving habits didn't change.
They never do.
Changing habits if difficult.
Since I was pregnant with a second child
after successfully giving birth to my first child,
he must have forgotten about the past.
- His bad habits returned. / - Yes.
(Relief made him forget about the past.)
Did you forget about
how you cried and made a promise?
I know that I should change,
but my old habits come out when I take the wheel.
They only come out when I take the wheel.
It's exhausting.
Do you have a desire to change?
I visited the show
because I have a desire to change.
You want to change.
If you want to change,
why did you get mad at the suggestion of psychotherapy?
It's expensive.
It also doesn't feel like my problem is that grave.
You drive the same way as you did before
without realizing it.
When you get uncontrollably angry,
don't you think, "Do I have an anger management issue?"
- It happens when I take the wheel. / - At that moment,
don't you think, "Do I have an anger management issue?"
The thought doesn't enter my mind at the time.
- It only comes later. / - It comes later.
(He suspects it when he looks back on his behavior.)
- I had consulted a psychiatrist / - Really?
due to anger management issue.
You said it's expensive,
but it's covered by the national health insurance.
- Is it covered? / - Yes, it is.
Then it will be cheap.
It helped me tremendously.
When I get the urge to get angry
while I am walking or driving,
I think, "I should let it go like a normal person."
- Those thoughts come naturally. / - Of course.
That's right.
When you use swear words while you drive,
the other driver can't hear them.
Only you and your family hear them.
Your son hears them.
Isn't it annoying? You end up taking the damage.
Even if you follow the driver and express your anger,
you will have to turn away if he or she apologizes.
- It's a waste of time... / - Dongyeop.
You seem to be angry.
- It's upsetting. / - Dongyeop is angry
because you have a pregnant wife and a painful memory.
The fact that you haven't changed angers him.
I think
he is an incredibly lucky man.
- That's right. / - That's right.
- You could destroy a family / - That's right.
in a few seconds.
You should take this opportunity to change
and preserve the happiness of your family
and other families.
(Please preserve the happiness of other families, too.)
Say what you want to say to your husband.
My mother-in-law
couldn't come due to work. She told me,
"He promised to change"
"hundreds of times."
"Don't hope for change."
I came with a belief that my husband can change.
We will have our third child in August.
He will be a father of three children.
I hope he thinks more of his family.
- My goodness. / - You want him to change.
Yes, I want him to change.
I want to hear his promise before we leave here.
What do you want him to promise you?
"I will think of my family when I drive."
"I won't make my family anxious."
That's right.
(You can keep the promise, right?)
If you think it's a worry,
please press the button.
Minjun.
- The audience will vote later. / - Minjun,
you are not voting in secret.
He is pressing the button.
Do you think it's a worry?
- Take off your socks first. / - It's a worry.
He is a prankster.
(They are good friends.)
I also think it's a worry.
When children continue to see their dad
swear and shout,
- they could become anxious. / - That's right.
I think it's a worry.
He really should change.
Without a doubt, it's a worry.
It's not up for debate.
If you think it's a worry,
please press the button.
(What does the audience think?)
Many are pressing the button.
- In five, four, / - In five, four,
- three, two, one. / - three, two, one.
- Time's up. / - Stop.
I personally think he has the power to change.
The way he stopped drinking tells us of his willpower.
- It's hard to change on one's own. / - He needs help.
I don't think you should nag him so much.
You should say, "Honey, I am scared."
(Honey, I am scared.)
You should act cute.
Then he will slam on the brakes.
I think Taejoon needs a beating.
(I will be loyal to you.)
Say a few words.
I'm sorry that I caused your miscarriage
with my violent driving.
I will think of the children,
my parent and you. I will change slowly
because a sudden change can kill a person.
Among the drivers you had an argument with,
is there anyone you would like to apologize to?
Perhaps you should have been more lenient.
To the drivers I had trouble with in the past,
I'm very sorry.
From now on, I will yield
and refrain from driving recklessly.
All right.
(Please keep your promise.)
Let's see how many votes "The Risky Man" got.
How many did he get out of 200 votes?
- The number over 100. / - My guess is 157.
- I bet he received many votes. / - It could be 197.
- How many votes did he get? / - 157 votes.
Thank you.
Your worry received a lot of votes. Good job.
This person feels like she's locked in a prison.
This story is called "Suffocating Love".
Hello. I'm a 22-year-old woman from Jeju Island.
The island is now covered with rapeseed flowers.
But it's useless to me. Every day is a torture for me.
It's because of my mom.
Phone rings.
"Honey, it's 7 p.m. You should come home."
At only 7 p.m.?
- What's going on? / - Phone rings.
"What's going on? It's been 10 minutes. Hurry home."
What's wrong with her?
Phone rings.
"You idiot! Will you come home now?"
My mom controls me too much.
Whenever I'm a little late, she curses at me.
If I avoid her call...
"This is Joohyun's mom. Are you with my daughter?"
"Please tell her to go home."
(She calls her daughters' friends.)
"Hey, do you think I'm joking?"
"Send Joohyun home now."
"My friends..." This is bad, you know?
- This is... / - It's bad.
It's something you never want to experience.
- Right. / - It's embarrassing. You become a nuisance.
- It's a shortcut to becoming an outcast. / - Right.
She even calls my friends and it drives me crazy.
I had to do something about it.
"Where are you..." " Mom, I'm coming home late."
- "Bye". / - Good job.
And I went home at midnight.
The moment I went in...
(No way.)
- Really? / - Did she get slapped?
I got
slapped right away.
Please help me
get away from my mom.
Even if she's a girl, she's already 22 years old.
Her mom calls her at 7 p.m.
and she gets slapped for coming home at midnight.
Have you been hit by your parents, Minzy?
- They hit me lightly to discipline me. / - Your palm.
They never really hit me hard.
- Never. / - I never got slapped by my parents.
She came all the way from Jeju Island to find freedom.
Please come on out.
(Park Joohyun)
(Taejoon is always very nice.)
You can take off your shoes.
Please introduce yourself first.
Hello. I am a 22-year-old from Jeju Island.
I am Park Joohyun.
(Welcome)
- Did you really get slapped? / - I know.
Yes. I was so upset while hanging out with my friends.
So I told my mom I'll be late.
She slapped me as soon as she saw me.
Did you not do anything when you got slapped?
- I didn't know what to say. / - You were shocked.
So I just stood there.
You didn't drink
- and act drunk. / - No.
- Do you have a curfew? / - It's 9 p.m.
But she starts calling me at 7 p.m.
- She calls me every ten minutes. / - Ten minutes.
You can go anywhere in two hours in Jeju.
"By any chance, did you leave the island?"
(She might have left the island?)
"Did you go to Mara Island?"
- Why does she nag you from 7 p.m.? / - Exactly.
I have no idea.
- I don't understand. / - You must've asked her
why she calls you at 7 p.m.
when you can go home by 9 p.m.
I once got angry and hung up the phone.
I said, "It's only 7 p.m. Why are you nagging me?"
My mom called me around 8 p.m.
She said
that she came to the place where I was.
(I came to the place where you are.)
(That's scary.)
I have goosebumps.
She said she was at the city hall.
She told me to come out immediately.
I was scared. I couldn't understand the situation.
I hid with my friends because I was scared.
Did you cause big trouble in the past?
- Your mom must have her reasons. / - That's right.
- No, I didn't. / - Have you done something wrong?
For the 22 years of my life,
I have never made my mom worry
or opposed against her.
I rebelled just once when I went home at midnight.
- Is that all? / - You can't call it rebelling.
All you did was to go home at midnight.
(She's so naive.)
Do you have younger siblings?
- I'm the oldest child. / - I see.
Does she do the same to your younger sibling?
No, my younger sibling lives with my dad.
My parents got divorced when I was in high school.
- Do you guys live separately? / - Yes, we do.
I'm living with my mom in Jeju Island.
I think my mom became like this when we began
- to live in Jeju Island. / - She's obsessed.
- Yes. / - I'm sure
- that her mom struggled a lot too. / - She must have.
Let's meet with her mother now.
- Hello. / - Hello.
- Why did you do that to Joohyun? / - She looks...
That's because I love her.
Pardon?
(Everyone shudders.)
- Ma'am. / - "Do you know how much I love you?"
(Is that why she slapped her daughter?)
- Don't you think you're restraining her? / - Exactly.
Not at all.
You call her to tell her to come home at 7 p.m.
- Doesn't every mom do that? / - No, they don't.
- Ma'am... / - Raise your hand if your mom does that.
- No one agrees with you. / - There's no one.
(No one agrees with her.)
(That's odd.)
Her curfew is 9 p.m.
- Why do you nag her every ten minutes / - Exactly.
- starting from 7 p.m.? / - She's obsessed.
I have to call her several times.
Only then, she comes home by 9 p.m.
She broke her curfew many times.
I just prevent her from coming home late.
- How would you feel if your daughter / - I see.
calls you every ten minutes while you're hanging out?
Imagine you are having fun.
"Mom, where are you? Why aren't you coming home?"
- Has she ever caused trouble / - It doesn't matter.
after drinking a lot
or left you a bad memory?
- No, she has never done it. / - Exactly.
Then why do you restrain her?
You should give her more freedom as she's grown up now.
Young people these days meet up at midnight.
I don't understand kids like that.
Why would they stay outside at such a late hour?
They have to go to school and work.
I don't know.
- You have to trust her. / - I think she should be
in my nest.
- When should she leave your nest? / - She's 22.
- When she's 40? / - When she gets married...
- When she gets married? / - Goodness.
You never know when she'll get married.
(This must be a dream.)
You don't have to worry.
- I just feel anxious when she's out. / - I understand.
When I was young,
my elder brother called to say he would go somewhere,
and the next day, I got a call that he passed away.
- Goodness. / - Really?
- She must've been shocked. / - I'm traumatized.
- Your elder brother? / - Yes.
It happened when I was 21 years old.
When Joohyun is out,
I'm worried something bad might happen to her.
- That's why I nag her... / - Then did you go home
early every day when you were young too?
No, I didn't.
That's not fair.
(That's not fair.)
You didn't go home early?
That means you're a strange woman too.
(You're a strange woman too.)
- I have something to say. / - Go ahead.
When my mom is out and doesn't call me,
- I worry about her. / - Of course.
- You must be worried. / - So I call her,
but she never answers my calls.
Why do you not answer her calls?
I trust myself. I wouldn't get into trouble.
That doesn't make any sense.
Doesn't your daughter trust herself?
She still feels like a little child to me.
- You want her to be under your control. / - She's not.
But that doesn't make sense.
Even though you're traumatized by what happened,
- it's not fair that you can and she can't. / - Right.
Ma'am, please listen to me.
- Okay. / - How would you expect her to date a guy?
She does everything she wants.
- Does she have a boyfriend? / - Yes, she does.
She has a boyfriend.
I feel so bad for her boyfriend.
(I feel so bad for her boyfriend.)
What can they do on a date?
Her boyfriend must be unhappy about it.
- My mom likes movies. / - I see.
So I go out with her and go to movie theater often,
but she wants me to stay with her every single day.
If I don't answer my phone while meeting my boyfriend,
she calls my boyfriend.
Gosh. She calls your boyfriend?
I was having a meal with my boyfriend and his aunt.
- Your boyfriend's aunt? / - Yes.
She called me and said
that she'd come to me if I don't come home immediately.
- What time was it? / - It was 7 p.m.
- It was 7 p.m. again. / - It was 7 p.m.
- 7 p.m. is such a scary hour. / - That's right.
I ignored her calls.
Then she texted my boyfriend.
"Do you think I'm a joke? Send Joohyun home now."
That's what she said.
- Gosh. / - Oh, no.
- I felt apologetic to my boyfriend. / - Of course.
- I also felt apologetic / - You must've been...
- to his aunt. / - in an awkward position.
- He sounds so nice. / - Have you not kissed him?
(She's shy.)
When I was young, lovers kissed after 9 p.m.
That's a lie.
(That's a lie.)
- They kissed after 6:30 p.m. / - Ma'am,
why did you text her boyfriend like that?
- That's harsh. / - If you do that to her boyfriend
I don't remember that.
- Goodness. / - She really can't control herself.
I don't stop her from meeting her boyfriend.
You're stopping her from meeting him in the evening.
You told him,
"Do you think I'm a joke?" That's disapproval of him.
- Do you... / - In fact,
she goes out to see her boyfriend every single day.
He's been traveling around India for 40 days.
All she cares about is her boyfriend.
- She always talks about him. / - She's at that age.
I want her to spend half her time with her boyfriend
and the other half with me.
(I want her to spend half her time with me.)
Why?
- My goodness. / - Are you her boyfriend?
(Joohyun seems upset.)
Can she ever get married?
- Please be honest with us. / - I don't think she can.
- When you grow up... / - To be honest,
I want her to get married soon.
- Really? / - I want her to build her own family,
and I want to live with her family.
(Everyone in the studio is shocked.)
(There's no way to get away from her mom.)
- Let's see / - Oh, my.
- what the audience think. / - I'll
look after her children too.
- Ma'am. / - Yes?
I think she'll come on the show again five years later.
Her husband will come with her.
(Please post your worries on our website.)
Does she restrain you from anything else
- other than dating and curfew? / - Right.
- Money. / - Money?
- Money? / - What do you mean by that?
To help my mom, I decided
to live off myself when I was in high school.
- I started working part-time jobs. / - She's so nice.
- No way. / - My mom checks
my bank account.
She said, "What did you spend your money on?"
"What did you ever do for me with your money?"
When she said that, I got really angry.
What makes me angrier is...
When you work part-time jobs,
sometimes you get paid late.
- That's understandable. / - Right.
She calls my boss when my wage is late.
- She calls my boss. / - Your boss?
- Yes. / - What does she say?
- Does she complain? / - She complains of late payment.
She looks like a loan shark when she does that.
She urges my boss to pay me.
- Then... / - She checks your bank account...
I can't control myself at that moment.
- You can't think clearly. / - I can't refrain myself.
I can't think clearly.
- She has anger issues. / - "Send the money right now."
- I say something like this. / - She has anger issues.
- Joohyun didn't / - She can't control her temper.
complain about it.
You found out by checking her bank account.
I check her bank account to see what she spends
- her money on. / - She's not a child.
- She can't manage her money. / - She's in college.
Can she still not manage her money?
She gets paid 700 dollars.
I think she spends it all on her friends and boyfriend.
She spends 700 dollars on them?
My boyfriend pays too, but my mom thinks
- only I pay for our dates. / - Right.
When my boyfriend gets paid,
- he spends that money on our dates. / - I see.
- Right. / - Then why doesn't she have any savings?
I...
She's working while studying. How can she save money?
A cup of coffee alone is very expensive these days.
- It's more than ten dollars at fancy cafes. / - Yes.
She works so hard to earn 700 dollars.
I only hope she knows how to spend it
more wisely.
- She's a grown-up now. / - That's right.
She should plan her finances by herself
- and learn from her mistakes. / - He's right.
She should learn from experiences.
- If you keep interfering, / - That's right.
- she won't be able to do anything by herself. / - Yes.
(She won't be able to do anything by herself.)
Did you move to Jeju Island
because you have someone you know living there?
My younger sister lives there.
- Your younger sister does? / - Yes.
Let's meet with Joohyun's aunt.
- Hello. / - Hello.
Do you understand Joohyun's worry?
Yes, I do. I experienced the same thing.
Does she nag you like that too?
Yes, she does. When I opened my restaurant,
I asked her to help me.
- So she worked with me for a while. / - I see.
She picked on me on every little thing.
She even threw a tantrum at Joohyun as well.
I told her to stop nagging her daughter.
I said she shouldn't worry so much.
She got angry all of a sudden.
(Stay out of this!)
She didn't even let me talk.
- Is she short-tempered? / - Yes, she is.
- Does she have anger issues? / - Yes, I think
- she does. / - This is as interesting
- as the previous story. / - I noticed it when I heard
that she calls Joohyun at 7 p.m. and yells at her.
Joohyun told us that, right?
She gets angry all of a sudden.
Do you understand her as her little sister?
Yes, I do. That's because
she felt lonely since she was a child.
Our father was laid on a bed of sickness for so long.
- As our mother had to go to work, / - I see.
she took care of our father most of the time.
- She was like a mom. / - She didn't have her life.
Besides, she has cardiac arrhythmia.
Not long ago, she had a seizure
- while sleeping with me. / - Oh, my.
I was so surprised. I called an ambulance for her.
- When she gets angry, / - It's not good for her heart.
her heart beats faster and it causes a seizure.
So I try not to get angry at her too much
- to prevent it. / - You've been considerate of her.
I saw her having seizure many times.
She shouldn't get angry in her condition.
- She should control her anger. / - May I ask
if you were obsessed with her before you got divorced?
No, I wasn't obsessed with her before then.
My ex-husband was very obsessed with me.
He called me 50 times when I didn't answer my phone.
- My goodness. / - He was very obsessive.
I even went to see a doctor for depression.
You can understand her better now, don't you?
She always says she's lonely and needs more attention.
- To be honest, she makes me lonely too. / - Right.
I once fell down the stairs and ruptured my ligament.
My leg hurt really badly.
I asked my mom to go to a hospital with me.
She said, "Go see a doctor if you have money."
- "Go when you have money." / - You must've been upset.
I was very disappointed. I'm preparing to get a job.
I wanted to discuss with her,
but she just said, "I don't know. Do what you want."
It's frustrating to deal with everything
- on my own. / - You two can't communicate.
The way I see it,
you want her to feel the same pain you had
- and force her to know how you feel. / - That's right.
You should treat her as a person, but you think.
she belongs to you and treat her unfairly.
You don't do anything that's hard for you to do.
You need to hear what she thinks.
Also, she needs to go out and communicate with people.
That's how she can establish herself in the society
so she can earn money and make you happy.
But you keep her from doing anything.
You don't want her to get involved in anything.
- That's right. / - You made me reflect on myself.
- I agree that I'm doing that to her. / - That's good.
- You realized it. / - I realized how I've been to her.
I shouldn't have called and yelled at her like that.
As he said before, I often lose my temper.
Whatever she says, I get angry for no reason.
That's why we can't communicate.
She just lets me talk because I get angry.
You should realize that she didn't just let you talk.
She refrained herself because of your health condition.
- She's a very good daughter. / - She's very nice.
- I think so too. / - She's a really good daughter.
Since you're here, I hope this gives you a chance
- to decide to improve the situation. / - Okay.
How about you change her curfew first?
- 10 p.m. or 11 p.m. / - Say 11 p.m.
- It should be 11 p.m. / - Dramas end at 11 p.m.
- That's true. / - I think her curfew should be
- 10 p.m. / - What about weekends?
Watch a drama
- between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. / - It was 9 p.m.
I changed it to 10 p.m. because she turned 22.
Considering her personality, it's a good deal.
Okay. Let's settle. Will you call her?
- I won't call her from now on. / - Really?
(I won't call her at 7 p.m.)
(I can't believe this is happening.)
What do you think?
(Good days have finally come.)
- Ma'am, would you promise / - I like that.
that her curfew will
become ten minutes earlier when she breaks it,
and it becomes ten minutes later when you call her?
- That's great. I like that. / - That's a good idea.
(The negotiation succeeded.)
- That's a good idea. / - Ma'am,
- would that be okay with you? / - Yes.
Minjun, do you think it's a worry?
No, I don't. I think they'll improve the situation.
- I see. / - I think her worry will be resolved.
I don't agree as long as they keep their promises.
- Solbin. / - If you keep refraining her,
it can make her want to go against your wishes.
She might rebel and get on bad terms with you.
- She might cause serious trouble later. / - Right.
I could relate to her story,
so I said a lot of things. I think it's a worry.
If you agree with Joohyun, please press the button.
(What does the audience think?)
- In five, four, / - In five, four,
- three, two, one. / - three, two, one.
- Stop. / - Time is over.
Was it helpful for you to talk about your situation?
What Yeongja said made me realize
what I've been doing to my daughter.
- That's great. / - That's great.
I'm sorry, Joohyun.
I'm really sorry. I'm sorry.
- Please don't cry. / - Oh, no.
I love you more than anyone in the world. I mean it.
Of course, I love Joonho too, but...
Let's be happy.
(Let's be happy.)
(We hope she'll remember her tears,)
(and they'll become happy together.)
Let's see how many people agree.
"The Risky Man" got 157 votes.
Show us the result.
(The result)
- "Suffocating Love". / - The last digit is seven.
I think it's more than 100.
Could it be 157?
- 137. / - That's a lot of votes.
(She got 137 votes.)
"The Risky Man" is the winner of this week.
Winner will receive a 1,000-dollar gift certificate.
Congratulations.

Umbrella Skirt Cutting And Stitching | Long Umbrella Skirt Cutting & Stitching - Tailoring With Usha - Duration: 14:39.hello friends, today m going to teach you umbrella skirt cutting and stitching
the measurement is like this
length of skirt excluding belt 39 inch
waist 31 inch
this is my fabric which is near about 2.5 meters, and also kept this after folding
that means this fabric is in 2 layers
at one corner, put inch-tape and mark half of waist i.e 31/2=15.5 inch
further from 15.5 inch take length of skirt + 2 inch i.e 31+2=41 inch
now from the same point mark half of waist on opposite side too
and assume the corner as center and draw a curve of 15.5 inch like this
now draw another curve of 41 inch measurement from the waist curve like this
first i'll complete it, and further we have to insert a joint which I teach you
these are two curves of our umbrella skirt, this is waist curve and this is bottom curve
but there our fabric is not sufficient, so first cut these curves and after that from remaining fabric we insert a joint
after cutting these curves i'll proceed further
after cutting, now place remaining fabric 0.5 inch beneath skirt's fabric for stitching
and now take inch-tape and mark 41 inch and do curving too, after curving i'll show you the drafting
like this our curving is completed, now cut this joint
and also cut this joined fabric too
this is the cutting of umbrella skirt, and like in the same way we cut the lining of it
and from remaining fabric we make our belt, but before that we insert darts/pleats in front part
in back part we insert elastic, after inserting pleats in front part i'll also teach you how to cut belt
in stitching, first of all we join this remaining fabric matching right to right
start sewing from boundary till the bottom curve and after that do press stitching on it, after this i'll proceed further
now take one piece of fabric, flip it on wrong side and insert pleats and this will be our front piece of skirt
after folding fabric in 2 layers, now from open side mark 1 inch, this is point for the stitching
after that measure it till close part and then 1/4 of waist i.e 31/4=7.75 inch
and thus the remaining fabric is for our pleats which is near about 3.2 inch, and we insert 4 pleats
2 in front of this fabric and 2 in back
for inserting pleats, first from close side mark 2.5 inch and further mark half of 3.2 inch i.e near about 1.6 inch
this is one pleat, after that further take 2.5 inch and again mark 1.6 inch for the second pleat
and now take center of both pleats and in length take 5 to 6 inch from the center
draw a straight line like this and join the 2 points from length mark like this, like this we make 4 pleats
these pleats we insert on the wrong side, take it and transfer pleats measurement on other side too
after inserting all 4 pleats i'll proceed further
after inserting darts or pleats on wrong side, it will look like this on right side
now match wrong of lining and wrong of skirt fabric and sew it simply on waist part, after that in the same way sew lining on back piece
and after that we insert elastic in back piece
after joining lining on front and back piece, now take back piece & measure from waist part, it comes 25 inch
so 25 inch in width and 4 inch in length, we make our waist band from this remaining fabric and then insert elastic
cut elastic 3 to 4 inch less than half of waist, i already told you how to insert elastic
after inserting elastic i'll proceed further
after inserting elastic, now take front piece and measure its waist part and cut belt roll equal to it & paste it on remaining fabric
after pasting belt roll, now match wrong side of skirt and right side of belt fabric and sew it alongside waist
now take belt to right side, fold it like this and sew it, after that our belt will be ready
after making belt, now sew front and back piece matching right to right
at some distance sew lining fabric with main fabric together and after that separate lining fabric and sew main fabric till bottom
and after that sew lining till end
this I already taught you in video of "HOW TO MAKE GHAGRA FROM SAREE"
and also "HOW TO MAKE SHARARA"
after completing it i'll proceed further
after completing side stitching, this will look like this, at this point we sew it together and after that sewing is done separately
after that at bottom fold lining fabric too, and take this to right side
now mark required length from top and double fold it, if you wish you can also insert lace on it
after completing all this i'll upload a pic of it
if you like this video then hit like button and if you are new here then subscribe for more such videos
in next video i'll teach you a new cutting/stitching in a simple way..thank you :)

【MUKBANG】 Kaldi Taiwanese Braised Pork Over Rice With Eggs + Miso soup! 5Kg, 10148kcal[CC Available] - Duration: 4:59.Hello its Kinoshita Yuka (English subtitles by ~Aphexx~)
so today tadaa I made a pork bowl to eat today ~so heavy~ ( Ru Lo Fan ?)
I used a sauce packet made by Kaldi to make today's pork bowl with
I'm really loving this wonderful aroma and Kaldi's sauce packet used pretty legit ingredients
and I'm sure today's meal turned out nice and great I love eating pork so much... this bowl looks so delish
alrighty lets see how its made
and here are the base sauce packets we are working with today each of these cost Y160 from Kaldi
chop our leeks
and cube up our pork I used 1kg of pork here
heat up our pork
once they've cooked for a while we now add our sauce packet
water, and simmer for 25 minutes making sure to remove the scum that surfaces
smells so wonderful I feel like I smelled this once at a Taiwanese restaurant
star anise, cinnamon, fennel, clove, orange peel and pepper are in this sauce
while we wait for this to cook lets make our egg
once the eggs are boiled put them in with the pork
prep our rice, today we've got 7 cups worth and once its done cooking pour over the rice
looks delish add our eggs and sprinkle the leek
add cilantro for a bit of color tadaa its now complete
the eggs look so yummy now lets weigh it shall we
w/o the bowl its 4.3kg and with our 1kg worth of miso soup the total is 5.3kg
itadakimasu the cilantro looks so yummy as well
looks so delish
I love that unique flavor
how do I describe it? this flavor? Wat Do
the sauce is sweet and salty with that unmistakable Taiwanese-like flavor
and that cilantro gives it a nice accent and this pork is so delish it goes so nice with rice
boiled egg
the sauce hasn't flavored the egg too much but its taken on a bit of flavor from the soup and its
so eggy and delish
the sauce and rice go so nicely together
goes great with this miso soup as well
I especially love the fatty parts of this pork
the pork is simmered in a sweet and salty sauce then poured over some rice but the flavor differs from
a similar Japanese dish called pork Kakuni I really love the unique flavor and aroma of this Taiwanese sauce
last mouthful itadakimasu
all done today's dish was so delish
all we did was simmer pork in a sweet and salty sauce and pour it over rice but it had that distinctly Taiwanese
flavor and aroma that was so delish ~Taiwanese dishes = yums~
I totally want to try eating this sort of thing from food stalls
and the sauce pack I bought today from Kaldi were pretty inexpensive you can make so much from
a single packet which is such a bargain and with all the spices that it requires
they're rather difficult to track down all at once so its so convenient to be able to use this sauce packet
it was so delish won't you all give it a try? and as always thanks for watching and if you liked this
video please hit the like and subscribe button BAI BAI
