Korea's growing household debt likely straining spending: BOK governor - Duration: 1:42.

Korea's growing household debt..... may be putting added pressure on already-stagnant

domestic spending.

The nation's debt growth far outstripped that of some other major economies.

Shin Se-min looks beyond the digits.

Korea's ratio of household-debt-to-GDP is seen as far outstripping that of the OECD

average.

In a Bank of Korea report submitted to the parliament's special committee on the domestic

economy Thursday, data shows the country's household debt to nominal GDP was at 91 percent

as of the end of 2015 ... over 20 percentage points higher than the OECD average.

That puts Korea at the seventh highest, with Denmark and Switzerland leading the pack.

In terms of the country's household-debt-to- disposable-income rate, it was at 169 percent,

nearly 40-percentage points higher than the OECD average.

The report says that ratio had sharply gone up by over 21-percentage points since 2010,…

while the OECD average had dropped by half-a-percentage point.

This is also in stark contrast to the world's major economies like the U.S. and the UK that

had also seen their ratios fall in that same period by nearly 23 and 12 percentage points,

respectively.

Korea's household debt rose by 124-billion dollars alone last year, adding to concerns

about its alarming pace of growth.

Bank of Korea Governor Lee Ju-yeol openly voiced his concern about the mounting debt

pile, saying given the high levels, it is already likely constricting private consumption.

Shin Se-min, Arirang News.

TUTO : entretien du jeu de direction par Probikeshop - Duration: 7:57.

Welcome to Probikeshop TV! Today, I'm going to show you how to maintain your headset.

For headset maintenance, you will need a strap, a cloth, some grease,

a torque wrench with all the necessary bits, a cutter,

some degreaser and 5mm, 4mm and 2.5mm Allen keys.

The first step in our headset maintenance exercise involves removing the front wheel and the forks.

I ran through how to do this in the fork assembly/disassembly tutorial

so we'll fast forward to the next step.

Here we have an integrated headset

but the key maintenance steps are exactly the same for semi-integrated and traditional headsets.

Remove the top cap

followed by the split compression ring

and, last but not least, the bearing.

This model has integrated cups,

i.e. they are part of the frame and cannot be removed.

As far as maintenance is concerned,

the first task is to check that the bearing isn't gritty.

If it is, this means that it has started to corrode

or that mud and humidity have seeped in.

There are a couple of solutions to bear in mind. If the bearing still turns easily, as is the case here, simply clean it using degreaser.

Wipe the outer surface of the bearing to remove any traces of rust and grease.

Grease is used primarily to protect the bearing and keep moisture out.

If the bearing feels very gritty

and is unfit for purpose,

you can grease the bearing using the following tip,

which won't magically repair your bearing but will enable it to function temporarily.

Use a cutter blade or a flat screwdriver to remove the protection ring

from the bearing

so that you can access the bearing body.

You can see that this particular bearing is in working order but if yours isn't,

start by using some degreaser.

If you have a high-pressure pump to hand you could use it to flush out any impurities and the old grease.

Clean the bearing

and then use a grease gun

o apply a few squirts of grease to the inside of the bearing.

Don't use too much as this would create friction.

All you need is a small amount of grease

before proceeding to replace the protective ring.

Make sure that it's correctly inserted all the way around

and then spin the bearing a few times to spread out the grease.

As I said, this is a temporary solution: the best thing to do is replace the bearing.

Before reinstalling the bearing, clean the bearing body

by spraying some degreaser on a cloth

and using it to wipe off the old grease, which often ends up blackish in colour.

Wipe the seating before replacing the bearing.

Before reinserting the bearing, put a little grease on the housing

to help keep the bearing in place and ensure that no moisture can get in and damage the internal part of the bearing.

Insert your freshly cleaned and greased bearing

and then move to the bottom end of the headset.

Remove the bearing and follow the same procedure as before.

At the bottom end, make sure that you give the lower bearing seating, at the fork crown, a good clean.

Also, if your bike has a seal, make sure that it is in good working order.

On this particular model there is no seal.

Nevertheless, you should make sure that this area is clean as it is one of the most exposed areas of the bike.

Clean and apply a little grease.

Once you've cleaned and greased the bearings

and before you reassemble your headset, clean the compression ring (upper bearing)

and the headset top cap, which often has a seal.

Clean them thoroughly and lightly grease the seating.

In addition, have a look at the bearings and see whether they need changing.

Check the dimensions to make sure that you purchase the correct part.

Now it's time to reinsert the forks.

Start by reassembling the braking system as shown in the fork assembly tutorial.

Once you've reassembled the forks and popped the wheel back in, bring the bike off the stand to enable you to adjust the headset.

To adjust the headset, get on the bike

and pre-align the components.

Now check for play by preloading the bearings by screwing in the top cap

until the play is eliminated.

Be aware that it may feel at times as though there is constant play

and this may be down to the movement of the calliper plates.

You may wish to clamp the front wheel

and then use the handlebars to move the bike back and forth

to make sure that the play has been fully eliminated.

Now that the play has been dealt with, fasten up the handlebars.

Check that the alignment is still true and hasn't altered during the headset adjustment stage.

Progressively tighten the screws in a cross pattern

until the torque wrench clicks to indicate that 5nm has been obtained.

You have successfully adjusted your headset.

See you again soon on Probikeshop TV!

Rehab Tech Case Study 1 - Duration: 5:13.

Racheal Johnson: Jenny is a 36 year old currently employed at the city utilities office where

she has been employed for five years.

She is required to interact with customers coming into the office to pay their bill or

make changes to their account.

She was diagnosed with throat cancer a year ago and since then she has underwent surgery

which has caused her to be unable to speak.

She does have an electrolarynx but because of her surgery and radiation treatments when

she holds it to her neck it won't pick up.

She is hoping to have a TEP implant but she will need extensive therapy to stretch her

stomach before she will be a candidate.

Since going back to work she has been using a dry erase board and handwriting to communicate

with customers.

Jenny often found herself trying to communicate with people who are unable to read, given

the region she is from this problem arises often.

She also found her handwriting to slow her down when trying to communicate because she

had to write and erase which made her and her customers both feel that she wasn't

really communicating or providing quick customer service.

When she has had a customer unable to read she must find someone else in the office to

act as an interpreter for her in order to provide them service.

To help Jenny communicate with customers and coworkers in her workplace we discussed the

difficulties she was experiencing with her employer.

They were very helpful in wanting to accommodate Jenny.

To help Jenny we assessed what her needs were: to communicate quickly and have verbal communication

at all times.

What would be quicker than handwriting?

–Typing.

Jenny had states during our assessment that her job had made her very proficient at typing.

To allow Jenny to have a more portable solution while at work we decided on an iPad with attached

Bluetooth keyboard.

To solve the problem with verbal communication we needed something that would allow Jenny

to have a text to speech option.

For this reason we decided on the app Proloquo2Go.

This app has the ability to speak both typed sentences, as well as customized buttons and

frequently used phrases.

Jenny will be able to type responses to customers and have frequent phrases spoken at the touch

of a button.

This app will speed up her conversation time because she will be able to use the attached

keyboard allowing her to type more quickly and also accommodate those customers that

are unable to read by providing the text to speech format.

The Proloquo2Go app is available for $279.99 on the iTunes app store.

The 32 gigabyte iPad Pro is available for $549.00 and the case with Bluetooth keyboard

is available for $53.78 online or at Best Buy.

The total cost for accommodation equaling $882.77.

The set up and installation took about two hours, training Jenny how to navigate throughout

the app and how to customize phrases and buttons which she will be using most often.

Jenny's employer felt purchasing the equipment for her was a small purchase for them but

will make a large impact in the service provided to their customers.

Jenny now feels confident working at her job each day and no longer feels that her disability

restricts her from communicating as others do.

Focus On What You Can Control - Duration: 10:28.

What's up everyone I'm Dono and this is

how to happy. in this video we're going

to be talking about focusing on things

that you can control. So imagine that

you're sitting there and you're watching

some kind of sporting event and as the

last few minutes of the game tick away

your team is winning. They've been

playing pretty well but it's a little

too close for comfort. So you're watching

the game it's going, the minutes are ticking away.

At the very last second the other

team makes this incredible, miraculous

play. Boom and your team loses and you're

just devastated. No like come on oh!

You're freaking out in a flurry of

emotion you toss your phone across the

room and just like utter all these

different cuss words. To make it even worse

that was the championship game and your

team lost just as the last second. So for

the next I don't know, three or four days,

you're just in this funk just like

ruminating about it like oh man I

can't believe they lost like are you

serious. I played a decent amount of

sports, watch sports every once in a

while, so I kind of understand those

feelings when your team loses. You know

getting like frustrated and kind of

fired up but the problem is when you let

those kinds of things stick with you a

lot longer than they need to. If you're

not playing in the game then you didn't

even have any real influence on the

outcome at all. You didn't influence

anything that happened, so why would we let

events like this that we don't have any

control over stay with us for so long. So

in this video we're going to be talking

about focusing on the things you actually

can control because when you can't

control something and you focus on it

it's really just a waste of your time.

I'm definitely on the opinion that you

can do a lot and create a lot of

opportunities but some things are simply

going to be out of your control. The more

you focus on these situations that you

can't influence the more deeply

emotional and frustrated you're going to

be right. You know going back to the game

example like oh my gosh why didn't he block the

pass he was right there. You know if you're

thinking about that days and days later

there's nothing you can do or could have

done to

change that. There's nothing for you to

learn out of what happened, there's

nothing for you to modify. Its really

just burning your time. I won't go too

deep into kind of creating opportunities

but if you know that your opportunities

for influencing a situation have kind of

run out it's better to move your

attention elsewhere. So for example like

that game first of all you couldn't have

control the outcome to begin with but

also the more you think about it it's

further and further in the past and you

just had no chance of influencing the

past. The past has already happened. Let's go

over a few examples of things you do and

don't have control over. For example you

have control over how you treat other

people but you'll never have control

over how other people treat and feel

about you. Of course you can act in

certain ways that makes it more likely

that people are going to like you but at

the end of the day you can't make them

do anything. You can't have control over

any of their actions or feelings. So you

could ask someone you know for example

for directions and they could either

give you those directions or they could

say like are you an idiot, really? You're lost?

Either one of those reactions you

couldn't have changed but you could have

asked both of them the exact same thing and

gotten two entirely different outcomes.

So it's something that's just out of

your control. Everyone is going to be

interpreting what you do through their

own lens and then react based on that. So

you can do you know like I said a

certain amount to try to come off a

certain way but if they interpret it

differently and then act on it that's

out of your control. If they're just

naturally you know more helpful or

naturally more rude that's not something

that you can influence. However if we

flip the situation and someone asked you

for directions regardless of whether

they ask you in a way that's nice or way

that's rude you are fully in control of

how you react to the situation. You're in

control of whether you treat them well

or you kind of brush them off. Let's move

on to another example so if you're

driving and someone cuts you off you

can't control that they cut you off. The

only thing that you have control over is

how you react to being cut off. Once the

event happens it's already over it's in

the past there's nothing that you can

possibly do to change it. All you can

control is what you do

in the moments afterward. Even if you just

start screaming at them, you try to flash

your lights at them to get them to pull over

yada yada yada it doesn't change that

they cut you off. All you can control is

what you do. Adding on to that you'll

often hear people say stuff like oh my

gosh a person makes me so mad, but really

you're the one in control of that frame.

You're the one who gets to interpret

actions and then react to them. So if

someone cuts you off you can create a

narrative for yourself that either says

oh well they meant to do that I hate

them or you can create a narrative say

well they may not have seen me that

strongly influences how you're going to

feel about the situation. So they're not

necessarily making you mad but you

choose to take an interpretation that

ends with you being mad. You get to

control whether or not that event is

something that you focus on and becomes

an important part of your day or if you

just let it pass through. In the grand

scheme of things how much does it really

matter? Another example; you can't control

if you get laid off from your job but

you can control how quickly you go out

and start looking for a new job. So

you've probably heard this before people

get laid off and and they just go from

place to place kind of telling people

what happened and their sole focus is on

oh my gosh I got laid off and this is so

unfair and I hate it and I've been

working at this place for so long. But

again it's something that's already

happened you've already been laid off so

you can't do anything to change it. Yeah

maybe you can go try to ask and see if

they'll give you a different job or

something like that but that's getting

back into your control and focusing on

actions you can take. So the more time

that you spend kind of focused on oh I

got laid off and it means this this and this,

the less time you have to go out

and actively look for a new job. You're

in control again of your reaction of how

you spend your time. You're not in

control of the event that already

happened and more that you focus on it

the more upset you're going to get and

the less time you have to do other

things. You know the more you focus on

how frustrated you are that doesn't put

resumes in potential employers hands.

Let's move on to another example, you

can't control if you think

someone who's undeserving is successful.

What you can control is how hard you

work to become successful. So if you

think about you know some I don't know

trust fund type kids right and you

spend a bunch of times like wow it's so

unfair that they have all this money and

all this stuff and they never have to work.

I mean it might be unfair but it's also

something out of your control. You

focusing on that doesn't do anything for

you. The only thing you can do is look at

your circumstances and work on those. An

example that kind of falls in the same

line is you'll often hear people who are

really upset about certain musicians

right. They'll say oh wow that guy

really sucks i don't know how he has so

many followers yada yada yada yada and

I've definitely been guilty of that

myself but basically the more time you

spend doing that it doesn't it doesn't

affect it doesn't affect their

popularity at all. All it does is waste

your time and if you're an aspiring

musician or aspiring to something else

that's time that you could use to work

on something else. Something that you

actually have control over. I think

that's plenty of examples for you to

kind of get the point. I want to make one

other point though and that is don't use this

framework as an excuse to not get things

done. There are a ton of opportunities

out there and a ton of things you can

work on and influence right because we

all know people who basically say

everything is out of their control. I can't

do that because of this and I can'r do

that because of this and they go on and on

and on. That's not really what I'm

talking about here what I'm talking

about is there are some things that are

genuinely out of your control so kind of

try to pay attention and distill out

what is and is not in your control and

then focus on those things that are in

your control because that's what you

actually have an impact on but don't

just use it as an excuse to never do

anything ever because that's equally

unproductive. In every situation you're

going to have some control even if it's

just you know trying to control your

thoughts and the way that you're framing

the situation. Focusing on what you can

control is a key component to

happiness because otherwise you're just

left up to the whims of the world right.

If you only focus on these things that

you can't control. these outcomes that

you have no influence on. then you

basically either have a good day or a

bad day based on just

random stuff that happens or if you just

keep focusing on one thing you just

continually have a bad experience about

something that has already happened and

you can't change. Knowing what you can

control gives you a lot more power to

change things in your life so as you

practice and get a little bit better at

identifying what you can and can't

control just continue to work towards

the things that you can. And that's

really the main thrust of this video is

basically to reflect on some of the

things that make you upset and

understand whether or not you can

control them and if you can in what ways

can you actually have an impact on the

outcome because again like I was

saying before people's actions how

people feel about you you can't

necessarily control that. You could be

incredibly nice to someone and they

still don't like you. That's not

something that you should focus on. You

should focus on what you can control you

can control your behavior and your

actions and your thoughts. Alright let's

move on to the exercise portion. So for

this video the exercise is to write down

one thing that you're in control of in

your life and one thing that you're not.

Try to be as specific as possible so

that it's something with a little bit of

meaning for you and the more that you do

this exercise the better you're going to

get at understanding what is and what is

not in your control. That's all I've got

for this video as always if you have any

Does Ransomware Only Target Large Companies? | Mythbusting by F-Secure - Duration: 2:02.

So other people think that ransomware only targets large companies, and I think that's because

they're seeing these high-profile stories about companies being hit by ransomware.

Of course those are the more interesting stories, because those involve more money.

And that's another myth really because

a lot of ransomware campaigns we're seeing is just pushed out to consumers.

It just so happens that companies get those same emails,

people in those companies open them.

Their files get encrypted and of course those are the ones that make headlines.

I think the problem is that ransomware is being thrown around as a term

for more than what we (the cyber security industry) call ransomware.

So when you're seeing a case like the San Francisco Muni (Municipal Railway) getting ransomed,

people talk about ransomware, but actually what that is, is that's more like cyber extortion.

Where a guy went in, found vulnerable systems,

locked them down and then asked for a ransom to re-enable them.

And this is more like just an extortion scheme that people run.

And this has nothing to do with the commodity malware that your friend's computer might have got infected with.

Where all the files are encrypted and they see a message on the screen asking them to pay bitcoin to this address and so on.

So that's commodity ransomware, as opposed to the more cyber extortion stuff that we're seeing in larger companies.

Kind of like because ransomware is such a popular term right now, ransomware has sort of become the word for malware.
