FLORIDA Inlet Fishing: Catch Fish in Minutes - Duration: 5:32.

"Woahh! Thats a fish!"

"Oh my gosh, that is so huge!"

Its day 2 in Miami.

I've been up since 5:30 in the

morning fishing for one of the most

sought-after fish in Florida, the Snook.

A long fish with a black stripe down side,

the snook is a fish Ive dreamt of catching.

As I've been fishing I met a local snook

fishermen, Chris has been out fishing all

morning. He tells me that he's hooked up

on four snook already but they all

managed to shake him off. "Since I used to ride my bike to school"

"I would leave my rods in the backyard and I would ride my bike to school

"but I would skip"

"and just go fishing. The canals down here in South FL

"are really good. Like..."

" Each canal someway somehow is connected with"

"saltwater of bodies of water. So theres snook"

"Tarpon, Peacock Bass but it is insane man"

"You know... you could get a slam. So you can catch Tarpon, Snook and Peacock the same day."

Chris tells me that the Snook bite

is hot before the Sun comes up. He

tells me that they like structure. They like

hiding shadow lines, similar too many of

the other predatory fish with explored

He says they like to be hidden and

ambush passing fish. I throw in a plug

and big spoons and I see that there is a

massive barracuda here. This makes me

think, that there are other big fish here

waiting to feed. The Barracuda is too smart

it won't like my bait. And when I think

about it, they don't get that big by

being dumb.

I fish for a couple hours until the Sun

fully rises...I feel defeated

I can't catch anything. This just goes to

show why people spend hours and hours

years and years going after these fish.

They're big for a reason they're not

easy to catch, and I have much respect

for the fishermen who are able to do

that. People stay out there for hours

trying to learn how to catch them and

that's not an easy job. So I pat you guys

on the back.

So I go back to what I know. What my dad

taught me when I was growing up. I

dropped a sabiki rig down to see if there's

anything in the water. The sabiki rig is a

fun, easy way to catch a bunch of

different species of fish.

"Alright Erin, This is the easiest fishing in the world"

"All you gotta do is drop it down.. okay"

"OH you know we should do?" What should we do?" Get some gopro Footage.

"Oh my God!"

And I can catch a bunch of little bait fish for

my dad to put on hooks that way he can

live line for a bigger predator fish on

one of his rods.

"Using that as bait? I knew it."

Chris tells me that one of the reasons inlets are so good

for fishing is the bait fish. The tides

keep the baitfish trapped in the inlet. So

predator fish like to stay close by and

feed on the easy pickings.

oh wow. " Alright you can have this one"

Whoah!

"Look at that mouth!"

"Woah! Wow! Its bright orange!

"He is so beautiful, this fish. Orange and purple and gold!"

"He got it! He got it! Oh my god!"

"He changed colors right away!"

"What do you mean? He changes colors?"

"Yeah... So they are usually blue in the water"

"So, This was blue in the water"

"and as soon as we brought it up.."

"Yeah, his tail turned Red."

"Cool Fish!"

"Look at that...That is awesome."

There were so many different species in

Pork fish, Lionfish, and this funny

looking guy.

"Lemme see, Lemme see!"

"WOAH!"

"There's a way that you get them

"to move. Anyways they will get you..."

"So feel that think at the top. That thing will..."

"get you man.."

"What do you mean it will move?

"There is a way that they get them to move"

"And it'll go down"

"Ohh and it will attack you?"

Now we thought that this was a

triggerfish but when we posted it on our

Facebook one of our viewers Michael

Shuttleworth did a bit of research for

us and told us that this is actually a

Filefish. A fish related to the trigger fish.

Check out Senkoskipper on

facebook for great information on

fishing, and make sure you subscribe to

the channel as well. "I love Florida!

Theres so may different species here and most of

them I don't even know, so I'm going to

rely on you guys to maybe teach us a

little bit about it. This is a very

easy fishing but a lot of these fish

I have never seen before and wanted to know if that is same

for you. If not would you let us know if you

know what kind of fish it is!
