Creativerse - Tutorial for a secret passage (R38: Two new blocks) - Duration: 12:17.
This will be a serious video.
Don't laugh at any moment. The video is really serious.
We're here in front of the politician Cunha (brazilian).
Yes, that corrupted politician.
Note that even his house is made of corrupted blocks.
Let's enter the house.
We go down here.
And enter this room.
Apparently, it's just a normal room, with many books, a couch and a fireplace.

A secret passage appears in front of me!

Let's learn how to make this secret passage, using the new blocks from the R38 update.
In this tutorial we'll use two new blocks from the update.
The first one is the block phaser.
The second one is the sensor.
First, let's understand how these new blocks works.
The block phaser is used to make blocks completely disappear, and appear again.
For example.
When I place a block phaser here
And begin using the wiring tool, a purple area will appear above the phaser.
This purple area means the phaser's reach.
In other words, this phaser can make up to 8 blocks disappear.
Let's see. I place 4 blocks above the block phaser.
With the wiring tool, I inspect the block phaser pressing the N key.
When inspecting, you can see it shows 4 blocks in the order they were placed.
Then I select which blocks I want to disappear. The first and the last.
When selected, the block's square will turn green.
I click on Save to save the configuration.
And now when I click with the mouse's right button, or press the F key, the blocks which I chose will disappear.
I click again and the blocks come back.
If I select all of them, they'll be all gone!
And it's as the blocks really disappear from this universe.
Besides clicking, I can also use any other form of input.
For example... I'll use a switch here.
I connect the switch's output to the block phaser's input.
And done.
Now let's understand the sensor.
This sensor works like a presence sensor.
If someone enter the sensor area, it'll send a True signal.
Note that the sensor will emit a blue-ish area.
If we inspect the sensor with the wiring tool, we can see many options available.
The width options means the width size of the area. Let's set it to 5.
You can see that the area is 5 blocks wide now.
Let's use the length option to make the area bigger. Setting it to 5.
And also the height option. We also set it to 5.
You can see now that the area is a large cube.
The other options: detect the presence of players.
And detect the presence of creatures.
Here we'll set to detect the presence of players only.
And at last, there's a field to show the players a message in their screen when they enter the area.
I'll fill in some text example just to show.
In the moment that we enter the sensor's area, we receive the message and the sensor will send a True signal.
Let's connect the sensor to the block phaser.
When we enter the area, the blocks will disappear! And the message will also show on the screen.
When we exit the area, everything goes back to normal.
Goes back to normal because as the sensor doesn't detect any player presence in the area, he'll send a False signal, switching the phaser off.
Now it's easy to know how the secret passage works!
Let's make one prototype quickly.
Make a hole and place the block phasers.
Cover the floor so the block phasers are not visible.
Place a wall in the same row as the hole.
Inspect the block phasers and configure them to work with all the wall's blocks, but not the floor's blocks.
Place the sensor and the area that we want to detect players.
Fill in the message.
(You're a little addicted to Creativerse.)
Connect this sensor to the block phasers.
And done, we created a secret passage!
At the corrupted politician's hideout, I also used a switch to turn the sensor on and off.
Note that when I turn off the switch, the sensor will also turn off.
And the passage won't work.
As a switch it on again, it works.
Then you can make the same sensor mechanism to make the other side.

We, at Auto Moto, had a terrific year in 2016. Mostly thanks to the Italian manufacturers.
So to thank them, we decided to drive back our four very favorite cars to their homeland,
across the Alps, in Italy.
One last ride as an Au Revoir. Alora, viva Italia !
When we planned this transalpine trip at the office, there was no way I would miss it.
Neither would I drive through the Alps without satisfying one of my absorbing passions : skiing.
Even though I chose to drive back an Abarth 124 Spider to Italy.
Besides who said that a spider was not appropriate to go skiing ?...
There are no coincidences in life. I already had a crush on the Mazda MX-5 last year.
Well, this Abarth is a redesigned MX-5. But it's a bit more than that. So I like it even more.
It's a typical fun and lightweight sportscar with the engine at the front, rear-wheel drive
and inbetween, a really precise manual transmission.
The pedals are made for perfect heel-and-toe. Delightful !
The big difference with the Mazda is the turbocharged engine.
There is a bit more torque, it's more responsive. The car really feels faster.
It sounds like a cliché. Some says Italians talk loudly ; this Abarth clearly barks.
The exhaust pipes bang angrily. The sound has been really refined.
When I lift off the accelerator or change gears, it's yapping. It really feels great.
It's a bit as if Abarth had somehow "Dodge-Viperized" the MX-5. I love it.
It's a hairy MX-5, more manly, more latine.
Even on these twisty roads, it obeys every beck and call.
And this turbo engine is definitively a good addition because it is easier to tame.
You don't need to rev the engine up too much in order to get power.
Plus, I'm well sitted at the wheel. It's an Italian car but it has a proper usability.
There is not only skiing in the mountains, there is motoring too.
My Italian car is gorgeous but because of my skis, I can't put the roof on.
I am starting to freeze. I feel like Jean-Claude Dusse stuck on its chairlift.

Knitting-Inspired Cupcake Treats - Duration: 4:05.

Hi, Guys, I'm Kristen and Welcome to Studio Knit!
Today, we are knitting, ha,
no we're not knitting. Today we are decorating knitting inspired cupcake desserts.
It's so much fun knitting up all sorts of delicious sweet treats like donuts and cakes.
So, I thought it would be a nice twist to make edible Valentine's Day treats inspired
by our knitting!
And if you think this is a fun way to show off your love of knitting, go ahead and LIKE
UP this video. To decorate our cupcakes with this pretty stockinette stitch we are going
to be using Fondant and your color choice is totally optional, an Extruder Tool, Heart
Shaped Cookie Cutters, a Small, Clean Brush, and Water. You may also use the same technique
to craft little clay hearts and for mine I used Fimo Clay in the pretty colors of light
pink, hot pink, and red. This Extruder Tool works for both fondant and clay. Using it
is totally optional but it was my experience that rolling the fondant by hand can really
create an uneven rope shape. So, this inexpensive little tool really helps turn it out uniform
and it's really easy to use. If you are interested in purchasing it I have a link down below.
I got mine for under ten dollars. And it comes with various shaped tips. I found that the
smaller of this little round, 3-cut outs works perfectly to make our little knitted heart
shapes. So, to begin, simply place your fondant or your clay inside the tool and place your
desired decorating tip on, screw it to the bottom, and then just twist the handle and
your little rope shapes are magically formed. Now, if you're working with fondant, I learned
that letting it harden for about ten minutes after you've extruded it helps retain its
shape before we get twisting. Okay, it's twisting time! We are going to twist half of our ropes
in one direction and we're going to twist the other half the opposite direction. Now
we just lay our ropes out and we alternate the twists. And you just sort of squeeze them
together. If you're working with fondant, a little bit of water with a clean brush helps
keep it together. If you're working with clay, just simply squishing it together will keep
it adhered together. And it's really cool how the Stockinette Stitch appears as you
alternate row by row and get them all squished. And it looks like a beautiful piece of your
own knitting. And to complete our adorable little decorations here, we are going to take
some heart shaped cookie cutters. I also have the link to where I purchased it down below.
And it's really nice to have the different sizes of cookie cutters to chose among so
you can have different sized hearts and you can just cut them out to your heart's content.

So to thank them, we decided to drive back our four very favorite cars to their homeland,
across the Alps, in Italy.
One last ride as an Au Revoir. Alora, viva Italia !
When we planned this transalpine trip at the office, there was no way I would miss it.
Neither would I drive through the Alps without satisfying one of my absorbing passions : skiing.
Even though I chose to drive back an Abarth 124 Spider to Italy.
Besides who said that a spider was not appropriate to go skiing ?...
There are no coincidences in life. I already had a crush on the Mazda MX-5 last year.
Well, this Abarth is a redesigned MX-5. But it's a bit more than that. So I like it even more.
It's a typical fun and lightweight sportscar with the engine at the front, rear-wheel drive
and inbetween, a really precise manual transmission.
The pedals are made for perfect heel-and-toe. Delightful !
The big difference with the Mazda is the turbocharged engine.
There is a bit more torque, it's more responsive. The car really feels faster.
It sounds like a cliché. Some says Italians talk loudly ; this Abarth clearly barks.
The exhaust pipes bang angrily. The sound has been really refined.
When I lift off the accelerator or change gears, it's yapping. It really feels great.
It's a bit as if Abarth had somehow "Dodge-Viperized" the MX-5. I love it.
It's a hairy MX-5, more manly, more latine.
Even on these twisty roads, it obeys every beck and call.
And this turbo engine is definitively a good addition because it is easier to tame.
You don't need to rev the engine up too much in order to get power.
Plus, I'm well sitted at the wheel. It's an Italian car but it has a proper usability.
There is not only skiing in the mountains, there is motoring too.
My Italian car is gorgeous but because of my skis, I can't put the roof on.
I am starting to freeze. I feel like Jean-Claude Dusse stuck on its chairlift.
Ah, now you see a guy driving a convertible in wintertime…

This engine comes with a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox. Those two work together beautifully.
As an Italian car, this Maserati suffers from some glitches.
It's not as well-finished as a German car, but that's the deal.
And you cannot really feel the road through the steering wheel.
But still, this Levante remains loveable and this SUV launched in 2016 is a good surprise.
That's why it's my Italian car of the year.
So Romain, you seem to feel better since you put the roof on, don't you ?

If you remember, always put the bolts back in place, so we don't forget where it goes
I don't know who tighten these - probably me - but it was way too tight
Now we just have to slide the fork tube out
Now we gotta put the fork tube in here and let's take a towel so we don't mark it
Better this way
You're gonna need a tub for the oil to go in
So you unscrew the bolt on the top
I did Karate for 3 years
Here we have the inside of a fork
I suggest you leave the fork vertically for an hour or two
And now we get to separate the fork
It feels good
