Youtube daily report Jan 24 2017

Mongo Nation need not worry — Mike Francesa will be asking his callers "What kind of fan are you" for one more year.

After WFAN's decades-old Super Bowl contest had trouble finding a sponsor, Bose stepped up Monday and saved the event, which will give away one trip to Super Bowl LI and will begin Tuesday or Wednesday, according to Newsday.

Station executive Mark Chernoff previously told the Long Island daily that there was no contest planned unless the possibility of a sponsorship arose.

The contest has been a staple of Francesa's show and dates back to his days with Chris "Mad Dog" Russo. During their days together on the YES Network, Russo dressed in colonial garb and played the character of "The Marquis." Francesa has continued the contest on his own in the years following their split and the contest has provided some of the classic moments in the show's history.

Fans of Francesa quickly tried save the contest following the initially grim news of its future.

A GoFundMe account was started with the goal of $25,000 to finance the event in what Francesa says is his final Super Bowl on WFAN.

Mayor de Blasio supports Obama's move to commute sentence of mastermind behind Puerto Rican terro... - Duration: 1:09.

Mayor de Blasio defended his support for freeing Puerto Rican nationalist Oscar Lopez Rivera, despite his ties to the group behind a bombing that killed four New Yorkers decades ago.

"He, first of all, was not personally involved in violence. He renounced terrorism as part of the agreement to be released," said de Blasio, who supported former President Barack Obama's decision to grant clemency to the former member of Puerto Rican nationalist group FALN, now set to get out of jail in May.

Lopez Rivera was convicted of seditious conspiracy rather than involvement in any specific attack, but family members of four people killed by a FALN bombing at Manhattan's Fraunces Tavern have objected to setting him free. A Twitter user whose question was asked of de Blasio on NY1's Road to City Hall Monday called the move "a stab in the back."

Lopez Rivera, 74, has been behind bars for the last 35 years.

"This is a guy in his 70s. He's served his time," de Blasio said. "I think it's time to turn a page."

SCP-949 Wondertainment Land | Object Class Safe | Amusement Park SCP | building / structure scp - Duration: 7:18.

SCP-949 Wondertainment Land Object Class Safe

Item #: SCP-949

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: The area in which SCP-949 manifests itself is to be surrounded

by two (2) meter tall electrical fencing.

The perimeter of the containment area is to be patrolled by guards at all times, operating

in groups of four (4).

Due to the size of SCP-949, use of vehicles is authorized during security patrol.

Any civilians approaching SCP-949 are to be taken into Foundation custody and dosed with

a Class-A amnesiac.

Exploration of SCP-949 is to be carried out using D-class personnel.

Exploration of SCP-949 must be authorised by three (3) members of Level 4 personnel.

Description: SCP-949 is a large amusement park located in the state of ███████ which,

according to the entrance gate and several documents within the park, is designated 'Wondertainment

Land®'.

SCP-949 has been observed to periodically disappear from its location on several occasions,

often reappearing several days after with new facilities.

Facilities inside SCP-949 demonstrate highly anomalous properties, more information on

which is available in Facility Log 949-1.

These anomalous facilities do not appear to intentionally cause harm to humans, and no

casualties have occurred during exploration of SCP-949 as-of-yet.

All of SCP-949's facilities are staffed and maintained by instances of SCP-949-1.

Instances of SCP-949-1 appear similar to typical amusement park mascots, and their costumes

depict a variety of animals.

All instances of SCP-949-1 seem to wear a unique costume, and no duplicates have been

sighted to date.

Autopsy of recovered SCP-949-1 instances show that their interior is composed entirely of

wool, confirming a lack of human presence.

SCP-949-1 instances consistently maintain a cheerful attitude despite the situation,

even when being dissected or otherwise injured.

Several advertisements for SCP's currently in containment are present in the form of

posters or souvenirs.

SCP's depicted in these advertisements include, but are not limited to, [DATA EXPUNGED].

All SCP's depicted appear to be related to the individual or organisation known as 'Dr.

Wondertainment'.

This, together, with the name of the amusement park, suggests that it is the creation of

this entity.

Interview 949-1-1

Interviewer: D-94923 (Reading questions from Dr. █████)

Interviewee: Instance of SCP-949-1: 'Sammy the Salamander'

Notes: Interview took place during exploration of SCP-949-1 by D-94923.

<Begin Interview>

D-94923: Um, hello, SCP-949-1 -

SCP-949-1: Hiya, ███ ██████!

D-94923: Wha - how do you know my name?

(SCP-949-1 appears uneasy at this point.)

SCP-949-1: Welcome to Wondertainment Land!

Haha!

D-94923: Nevermind, I guess…can you identify yourself?

SCP-949-1: I'm Sammy the Salamander!

D-94923: Where does SCP-949 go when it disappears?

SCP-949-1: The park isn't ready yet, friend!

D-94923: What do you mean, it's not ready?

SCP-949-1: Sorry kids, Sammy has to go now!

Goodbye!

<End Log>

Closing Statement: After the interview, SCP-949-1 fled at a remarkable speed.

Facility Log 949-1

Facility Name: 'Hook a Duck!'

Maintaining SCP-949-1 Instance: 'Frank the Fox'

Facility Details: Facility contains several animate duck toys which the subject must retrieve

from a central pool area using a hook.

Duck toys demonstrate panic and pain when 'hooked'.

When subject succeeded in retrieving three animate duck toys, the maintaining SCP-949-1

rewarded them with a large teddy bear.

Facility Name: 'Spooky Manor' Maintaining SCP-949-1 Instance: 'Bertie the

Bat' Facility Details: Facility resembles a 'haunted

house' attraction present in many regular amusement parks.

Upon emerging from the facility, the subject appeared to have several limbs and a human

head stitched to it.

Subject was not aware of these additions until they were brought to its attention.

The human head attached appeared to give the subject information on rides as they explored

the park.

Facility Name: 'Random River Rapids' Maintaining SCP-949-1 Instance: 'Terry the

Trout' Facility Details: Facility appears to be a

river ride similar to those used in regular amusement parks.

Subject remained in the facility for thirty (30) minutes before emerging.

The subject reported no abnormalities other than the presence of several sea creatures

with seemingly randomly positioned limbs, eyes and gills.

Facility Name: 'Bumper Cars!'

Maintaining SCP-949-1 Instance: 'Billy the Badger'

Facility Details: Facility is a bumper cars attraction identical to those used in regular

amusement parks.

Upon entering a bumper car, all bumper cars in the facility began moving independently

and attempting to consume each other using rudimentary 'jaws' formed from splits in the

metal.

When subject fell out of their bumper car, they were ignored and the other bumper cars

continued to consume each other until a loud buzzer sounded.

Cars immediately ceased movement and began to regrow missing sections, which displayed

different coloration than the original portions.

Reverse Lens Adapter and the Pentax 50mm - Duration: 1:43.

What's up everybody!

Today we're going to be looking at using a reverse lens adapter

With a Pentax 50mm f2

Ok guys this is a follow up video

To the last video I did

Where I used a reverse lens adapter

Vivitar 28mm f2.8

To make a macro lens

Now I was really impressed with the results I got

But I did get a comment saying

It was not working with a Pentax 50mm lens

So I wanted to try this out for myself

So I retreaved one of my Pentax lenses

This is the Pentax M 50mm f2

I attached it using that reverse lens adapter

And this was the result that I got

It was just blurry

No matter what I did to focus the lens

It didn't matter, it was out of focus

So after seeing this blurry mess

I went and got a few filters

to see if I could correct the spacing between the lens and the adapter

and to see if that would help with the focusing

and...it did help with he focus

but this is nowhere near a macro shot

this is close to what the minimum focus

would be like with the lens turned around

the right way

so in the case of this 50mm guys

I would not recommend this reverse adapter

if you're looking to do macro work

I think there are much better options out there

but if you're looking to pick up a 28 2.8

like this one, this Vivitar

the results can be phenomenal

with this reverse lens adapter

I just love this thing with this 28 2.8

now guys I would love to hear your comments

around this subject

if some of you are using 50mm lenses for macro work

or using extension tubes, or stacking filters

I'd love to hear how you're doing it

and how you're making it work for you

and if you like this video, hit that like button

if you want to see more like it, go ahead and subscribe

and I always like hearing the comments

so leave a comment down below

and we'll see you next time:)

Kerry Washington calls on women at Sundance to support each other - Duration: 2:12.

Olivia Pope gets a lot of credit for being a powerful woman, but it's the woman behind the fictional character who is helping to create real change in an industry that's woefully lacking in women and people of color behind the camera.

Kerry Washington on Monday spoke to a group of women at the Sundance Film Festival's annual Women in Film Brunch, telling guests that progress is going to take "courage on all of our parts."

"Sometimes the people who are in charge of those rooms, they want us to feel lucky to be in the room. And we are because we're all really blessed to be doing what we do...but that doesn't mean that I don't get to bring other people with me," Washington said. "Being alone in the room is exhausting...you feel like you have to stand up for the entire gender or race."

Speaking with "Manchester by the Sea" producer Kimberly Steward, both women agreed that in order for the system to change, women have to support other women. It's what brought the two together in the first place.

Washington remembered reading a profile of Steward, who mentioned Washington as a woman she admired in the business.

"A woman who shouts out other women? That's just something we all have to do," Washington said.

The "Scandal" star marched with Jane Fonda, Alfre Woodard and Brandy at the Los Angeles Women's March.

(MPNC/MediaPunch/AKM-GSI)

Washington has, in her stead as a producer of things like the HBO movie "Confirmation," has made it a priority to hire other women, people of color and people of the LGBTQ community to work on their sets.

"(It's) making sure people in society who we've labeled as other have a seat at the table," she said.

Earlier in the event, Caroline Libresco, who heads up Women at Sundance, said they'd found the main obstacles to women getting jobs behind the camera were "access to and knowledge of financing" and "male dominated networks." Steward said that producers have to be willing to take more risks, too, while

Washington chimed in that it's not a risk to make movies for and about women and people of color.

"Why do we allow this myth of risk to remain?" she asked. "And if it doesn't work, who cares?

So many movies don't work."

Tesla: Autopilot 2.0 - Level 5 Autonomy. Full Self-Driving Hardware my First Look! - Duration: 2:55.

so this is the first autopilot two-point

all car that i have seen and right away

here I noticed as i was pulling up we

got the the new side markers see if we

can block some of the the Sun here at

the new side markers with the side view

cameras and then we're just gonna walk

around one with the windshield here and

then we got the downward facing cameras

in the glass so hard to see through that

one go around back and try and leave his

license plate out of this but if we go

down to than the backup camera they have

a new style backup camera it's a little

different

haven't seen it in action quite yet

rear windows the same go back you still

got another camera on this side of

course the side marker but the the

really interesting bit is how they

changed my zoom in the best i can maybe

come aside is really bright out here

you got the the Triple autopilot camera

got the long-range you got the mid-range

and you got the wide-angle short-range

and they also got rid of the original

rain sense the automatic rain-sensing

wipers sensor and that day night sensor

looks like or

no there is

right

there they still not where they changed

it up a bit we're going to go over back

over my cars over here supercharging it

Pleasant Prairie right now and we'll

just take a look and this is the

original style sensor for the rain

sensing wipers and then the single

autopilot camera with the heat with the

heat strip going around for defrosting

now

this one uses more of a traditional

style heat strip as three heats trip

lines going across to melt any kind of

snow and slush

so I'm trying to do some post video

processing the see if I can clear the

image with it being so bright out but in

terms of in terms of autopilot two-point

all this has been the first one I've

seen i'll be heading over to highland

park for service on my car on tuesday so

hopefully they'll have one there that i

can get a little bit more in depth up

front

look at awesome

smile cheese
