Cream cheese at home Philadelphia - Duration: 4:13.

Cream cheese at home on the type of "Philadelphia". The recipe for soft cheese.

If you get in the way of subtitles - turn them off!

Hello! My name is Dina. And I'm very glad to see you on my channel "Collection of Recipes".

Soft cream cheese is a versatile product.

On the basis of such cheese or with its addition it is possible to prepare hot dishes, snacks, salads, sauces, soups, desserts and even drinks.

As a result, the dishes are obtained with a very gentle soft creamy taste.

There are several ways to prepare soft cream cheese at home, today I will show one of them.

To prepare this cheese we will need:

• 1 kg. Sour cream not less than 20% • 1 kg. Yogurt or kefir not less than 3%

• 2 teaspoons Salt (flush) • 1 tsp. Lemon juice

To begin with, in a bowl in which we will mix all the products, spread the sour cream, yogurt, pour out the salt and add the lemon juice.

All thoroughly mix until smooth.

In this recipe, the main products are sour cream and yogurt,

Salt and lemon juice do not need to be added, especially if you are preparing this cheese for cream or sweet baking.

The mass is prepared, and now we need to drain it.

To do this, we take a deep tank, install a colander or a strainer on it,

Cover with a thick linen cloth or gauze, folded in 6-8 layers.

We pour the mass into the prepared container.

Carefully pivot the edges of the gauze to the center,

Cover with a flat plate and install from above oppression.

In many such videos, a jar of water is used as oppression.

In my experience I will say that this is not enough,

Weight should be, the more - the better, I use these "pancakes" from dumbbells, each weighing 3 kg.

We remove our design in the refrigerator for at least a day, and preferably for two.

Once the whey stops separating from the cheese mass, the cheese preparation process can be considered complete.

We disassemble our design.

Serums turned out a lot, so I installed an additional grate so that the sieve did not touch the serum.

That's how much it has flowed, here about 1 liter.

Serum can be used to make pancakes, okroshki, pastry test and just as a soft drink.

We open the gauze, cover with a plate and turn it over.

Remove the sieve and gently remove the gauze.

Here we have such cheese.

From this proportion came out 1 kg of cheese.

And now let's see what it is inside.

Cheese turned soft, creamy, but not liquid.

Due to its delicate consistency, it can be easily spread and even whipped.

The texture of the cheese is soft and homogeneous, with a characteristic creamy taste.

This cheese is used for making rolls, cheesecakes, tiramisu, also from it are prepared cream cheese (cream cheese).

For the preparation of sandwiches in this cheese (if desired), you can add any shredded herbs, garlic, pickled cucumbers or dry Provencal herbs.

Store such cheeses only in the refrigerator in a sealed container for 5-7 days.

If you liked this way of making cream cheese - put your finger up!

I have other recipes on the channel, including using such cheese, look if you have not seen it yet.

How Are Search Engines So Fast? - Duration: 3:52.

You're looking for a file, and you know that you just saved it.

You know where you hoped this file was saved, but you just don't see it.

So you try searching your computer, and end up really frustrated.

This paper is due in ten minutes, and your computer is taking its sweet time searching.

And you know you have the right filename because you just saved it.

So you ask your friend Google where Word saves temporary files,

just in case your computer did something weird.

And in the blink of an eye, Google gives you an ordered list of relevant results.

Google's computers looked through trillions of Web pages,

ranked their relevance to your specific problem, and listed them in order for you.

Meanwhile, your computer keeps spinning away, taking thousands of times longer to search

a database a million times smaller than Google's.

So how does Google do it?

You might assume that Google's computers are just faster than yours,

and that's probably true.

But computing power isn't the main reason for Google's impressive speed.

Instead, it comes down to their famous algorithm.

An algorithm is just any kind of procedure that you follow in order to accomplish something.

And with Google or any other search engine, the algorithm is what turns your search

into pages of results.

The algorithm can work so fast because the search engine doesn't actually

look through those trillions of pages in that split-second between your search

and the results showing up on your screen.

That would take way too much time, and this isn't the dial-up era anymore.

We want our results now.

Search engines don't look through all those pages when you search

because they already did.

A search engine's computers are constantly crawling the Web.

They follow links from site to site, creating gigantic lists of which pages have which words,

how many times those words appear on each page, how important those pages are

to the rest of the internet, and all kinds of stuff like that.

The exact way a search engine decides which results to show you is generally a secret,

since they want to stop sites from gaming the system

so they're higher in the search results.

But it all depends on how these gigantic lists are sorted and combined into what's called

an index, which is a lot like the index you'd find in the back of a book.

When you search, the search engine's computers just check the index, find the entries

that are most relevant, and then send them back to you in the right order.

This might sound more complicated than searching the pages themselves each time,

but think about how much easier it is to find something in the book's index

than it is to flip and skim through every page to find what you're looking for.

The index is faster because whoever made it did all the work for you

by putting the book's topics in a nice, orderly list.

And their hard work is worth it, because the index lets you find whatever you want

way faster than you could've otherwise.

Google's computers also put a ton of time and effort into making the index,

but all that effort's worth it.

The index dramatically speeds up each of the roughly forty thousand searches

that Google answers every single second.

So why doesn't your home computer or laptop make an index

if it's easier to search through than files themselves?

Well, some modern computers do, which lets them search for files pretty quickly.

And those that don't can generally make an index if you ask nicely.

Or, really, if you change the right setting.

But some people tell their computers not to bother making an index, because making

and maintaining an index takes time and computer power that can slow a computer down.

If you search without an index, your computer pretty much has to

go through each of those files to see if it has what you're looking for,

which is why searching a computer can be so painfully slow sometimes.

And that's why you're watching your ten minutes tick away as your computer asks

each and every song you own if it's your term paper.

Positivity Challenge - What's the good side of dealing with mental illnesses? - Duration: 4:58.

Hi!

so we are in the positivity challenge week

during this week I will be answering

every day one of your questions

that will try to challenge me

with finding the good sides

of very difficult and hard situations in life

I'd like to make clear

I do NOT underestimate the huge difficulty

of thess hard situations in life

these situations are definitely

NOT situations to wish for

what I am saying

that even in these difficult situations

you can choose not to concentrate

on the pain and the difficulty

but to try to distract yourself from these

by finding some good sides

and by trying

to make the best out of it

so the question for today

comes from

and again I'm sorry if I say it wrong

Sjarlie Wulp

that asks me what's the good side

of dealing with mental illness

such as depression or OCD

Thank You Sjarlie!

fooooooh...

this was actually the hardest question I got

especially when I was thinking about depression

I just didn't manage to think of good sides

of depression by myself

So I turned to the internet

and very quickly actually

I found few articles

that shade some light on the bright side

of being in depression

I put links to the two of them

in the description of my video below

these are the two articles I liked the most

and i just want to show you briefly

what they say

so the first article is

how depression makes you stronger

and it says:

Keedwell says there is good evidence

from long-term studies

to show that after their depression

many patients seem to be able to cope better

with challenges

for most, their vitality,

their social interaction

and their general health

actually improved on recovery

and so did their work performance

I know from patients

that it can also make you more realistic

in your outlook

you develop more empathy

to those around you

Keedwell suffered a bad spell of depression

in his thirties

it went on for months

but I did come out of it

and I think I was a better doctor

as a result

I certainly had more empathy

with my patients

It also made me put my problems

into perspective

and I probably had a little more humility

so this was a one article

and the other one is

can depression make us better people

and here it says

Tom Wootton takes the idea

further than anyone else

with his belief that

depression can be a beautiful part of your life

so then they just list a few benefits

of being in depression

one of them is creative thinking

in the way of being more artistic

here someone says

the slowing down enforced by the illness

helped sharpen her work

depressive bouts feed her art

great leaders who lived with depression

showed their most creative thinking

and leadership at times of crisis

they could face painful disaster

with the sense of possibility

that less emotionally tested leaders

failed to grasp

so here there are apparently some bright sides

to depression too

I know you asked about

mental illness in general

and not only about depression

but I guess each illness is different

and has its own points of light

but probably the common

between them all

is that you get a different perspective about life

perspective that regular people

without this illness don't get

and I guess this is also something valueble

however

I wish you and everyone

good mental and physical health

and I hope you liked my answer

to this question

if so, please hit the thumbs up

and you are welcome to follow me

by subscribing to my channel

and I hope I will see you in my next videos

answering more challenging questions

bye-bye

The Other Side of Nazaré | The Big Wave Surfing Capital - Duration: 3:58.

This wave has something very special.

It has a factor called "the canyon"

It's very deep, it reaches from 5000m to 200m.

Very close to the coast.

And it creates this phenomenon.

Any beach of the region within 2km

has normal waves of 4 or 5m,

and here there are waves of 20m to 30m.

Is very different from the others.

I know many waves on many sides,

and this is completely different.

It has a different power.

It is very strong.

The sea is strong...

but basically what prevent us from surfing is the wind.

Surfers lose stability and they can't catch the waves.

This is the Tow-in and Rescue Training Center from Nazare.

We created it to train kids who want to learn tow-in and how to surf big waves.

And also rescue training with the fire deparment and lifeguards.

We have different surfboards for each type of sea.

For the tame waves

Is wider and does not have as much weight.

And for extreme situations...

they are narrower, with no curve

This is Lorenço.

Hello.

He is a Portuguese surfer from Ericeira

who did the course two years ago

and now he is training to surf big waves.

If I were traveling abroad,

I should pay from 500 to 3000 euros for practicing this sport in Jaws, Teahuppo...

or other big wave spots.

I don't have the money to go surfing in that way.

And thanks to Ramon and his training club,

they opened the doors and gave me the opportunity to surf the waves of Nazare

which was my dream,

and being able to do it with much less money.

If it wasn't for the training club I would not surf in Nazare.

Because I don't have the same money as the professionals

who have the support of big brands.

So it's very good.
