Youtube daily report May 4 2017

A man named Richard was homeless.

He would stand on the side of the road

and he would hold a sign that said,

"Laid off too long.

Anything helps."

One day, as he was standing on the side of the road,

a woman named Kenyatta noticed the sign and walked up to Richard and said,

"Richard, what do you need?"

He said, "Well, really I would just love some,

enough money to be able to turn my cell phone back on

so that when I applied for jobs,

the companies, when they would call my number, I would be able to answer them."

And she said, "I can do that."

So Kenyatta took Richard down to the AT&T store.

They pulled up his account

and she paid his bill

for the next two months.

And then he went home and he charged his cell phone,

which the battery had been dead for a while.

And when he, when his cell phone was charged,

he saw that he had a message.

And he listened to the message

and it was a job offer

from one of the places that he had applied to many weeks earlier.

Even though, and even though the message was a couple of weeks old,

he called them and they still gave him the job.

It was a pretty good day for Richard

and he felt very blessed.

And, of course, the message that caused that to happen,

it had really been there the whole time.

He just needed someone to help him find it.

We find the same kind of thing in Luke chapter 16.

The one thing that the rich man knew that he needed,

and the one thing that the rich man,

the rich man's brothers needed,

it was really there

the whole time

Abraham said this to him in verse 29.

He replied, once the rich man was concerned about his brothers,

He said, no, Lazarus basically, he doesn't need to go and visit them,

because your brothers, they have Moses and the prophets.

Let them listen to them.

They have Moses and the prophets.

And he's talking about the Word.

They have the Word.

And saying they just need to turn to the Word

because in the Word,

that's where you find a Jesus who knows

that this world simply cannot give you every good thing

for which your heart is hoping.

But he can.

And Lazarus believed that he would.

That's why there's one thing in this whole section that you never hear Lazarus do.

You never hear him complain.

And the reason why is because he believed he didn't need to.

This man, whose life was almost completely void of health,

and wealth, and even friends,

believed that his Lord had already given him the one thing

that he needed and the one thing

that this world could never take away.

Comfort

in a heaven where there is no more death,

or crying, or pain,

and where every last tear is wiped away.

You just had to wade through a little bit of pain and loneliness to see it.

And maybe you do too.

But in those moments, you still have everything you need.

You have Moses and the prophets,

where you will always find

your Jesus.

Thank you for allowing me to spend some time with you around the Word of God this week.

I've thoroughly enjoyed it

and I hope that you found some comfort

from the section of God's Word.

There are so many more souls out in the world that need that same comfort,

and you can help us reach them.

Please consider becoming a Grace Partner,

which means setting up a recurring monthly donation to our ministry.

Every penny that comes in will help the gospel

reach the souls that desperately need the same comfort that you and I do.

God bless your weekend.

What & How to EAT or DRINK for physical & emotional well being - Duration: 2:16.

It might take hours of lecture if we want to talk about what and how to eat, but we'll

keep it short.

Understand one thing – we're all natural beings.

The more natural stuff we can eat, the better it is for our physical, mental and spiritual

health.

Try to avoid fast food, oily, sugary and packed items as much as possible.

Try to eat home cooked food in minimal oil.

Also, you should never feel hungry for more than 5 minutes or so.

Eat either before you feel hungry or the moment you feel that hunger pang in your stomach.

Tolerating hunger doesn't just make you weak and prone to several diseases, it also

makes you gain more fat over time.

Eat small meals and preferably at regular intervals of time – may be every 3 hours

or so.

Many people start eating too many sugary items saying that they release endorphins and make

you feel happy instantly.

Yes, some of them do, but only for some time.

Also, they cause a lot of harm.

There are much healthier things to eat to release endorphins – banana, strawberries,

oranges, nuts, grapes, sesame seeds etc.

More than what to eat or drink, it is important to discuss what not to eat or drink.

Most people, when stressed, do too much of smoking, drinking or drugs.

You feel relaxed when you're in their effect, but after the effect is gone, the stress comes

back manifolds.

These things just mess with your intellect and because you cannot think those compulsive

stressful thoughts in that state, you feel good for a while.

I've never ever even tasted cigarettes, alcohol, drugs or for that matter any intoxicant

whatsoever, but I've learnt to achieve a far more prolonged state of calm through age

old permanent and powerful ways.

We shall discuss them in our last episode.

Let's try avoiding short cuts that can short-circuit anytime; instead, let's try taking the right

path even if it is longer.

Longer and permanent is better than shorter and temporary.

Eat These Foods to Protect You Form Heart Attack - Heart Attack Prevention - Duration: 5:52.

Eat These Foods to Protect You Form Heart Attack

Coronary artery disease is a very common condition, especially with those who eat a standard American

diet full of hydrogenated oils and sugar.

Roughly 1,000,000 people will have a heart attack this year.

Of those, roughly 500,000 will die.

Heart disease is the number 1 killer of both men and women in many countries, including

America.

What is Coronary Artery Disease?.

Coronary artery disease is a condition caused by blockage or narrowing of the arteries that

feed your circulatory system.

This occurs when cholesterol adheres to the damaged parts of your blood vessels.

This damage is caused by daily fluctuations in blood pressure, smoking, diabetes, and

stress.

Over time, these deposits can become hard and turn into dangerous plaque that narrows

the passages of your arteries.

Adding these ten foods to your diet can provide support to your circulatory system and boost

your overall health:

Tumeric.

Tumeric is becoming all the rage for health-conscious foodies.

It's active component, curcumin, helps to reduce tissue inflammation, reduce fat storage

and even fight cancer.

Best, it helps to keep platelets from clumping together to prevent the development of cardiovascular

disease.

A common way to consume it is to juice fresh roots with carrots and leafy green vegetables.

Juicing is the best way to absorb turmeric in its purest form.

But if you don't have a juicer available, you can also add powdered turmeric to your

diet.

Watermelon.

Watermelon contains arginine.

Arginine produces the nitric oxide that your body needs to maintain a healthy blood pressure

and keep your circulatory system supple and flexible.

Watermelon also reduces blood pressure because it contains more citrulline than any other

food.

Citrulline lowers blood pressure by helping the body to eliminate waste.

Avocados.

Avocados are very high in the good kind of fats that you need to eat every day.

The monounsaturated fat in avocados can reduce LDL cholesterol while increasing your HDL

cholesterol levels.

Sardines.

Fish that are high in omega-3s and vitamin D can help to lower triglycerides and cholesterol

levels.

They are also an excellent source of vitamin B12, which protects heart health by reducing

homocysteine levels.

Berries.

Berries are a nutritional powerhouse.

They pack an enormous amount of nutrition into a tasty, low-calorie package.

The anthocyanins and flavonoids in berries help to decrease blood pressure and dilate

blood vessels.

In fact, one study showed that women who ate more than three servings of berries a week

reduced their risk of heart attack by 32%.

Now that's a tasty way to stay heart-healthy.

Citrus Fruits.

People often recommend drinking orange juice for potassium and vitamin C, but many juices

contain added sugar.

They can also raise blood sugar too high because they lack fiber.

Instead, it's better to eat fresh citrus fruits.

Just one lemon contains half your daily need for vitamin C and oranges are loaded with

potassium.

Beware grapefruit if you are on cholesterol-lowering statins because they can interfere with the

effectiveness of the drug.

Unsalted Nuts.

Nuts are a super yummy snack packed with fiber and vitamin E. Studies have shown that people

who eat nuts have a healthier weight than those that don't, which reduces the strain

on your circulatory system.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

There's a reason that the Mediterranean diet is known to be so healthy.

Four tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil a day can help reduce the risk of heart attack

and stroke by 30%.

The monounsaturated fats in olive oil reduce both cholesterol and blood sugar.

Grapes.

Grapes, especially black seeded grapes, are very high in resveratrol which acts like antioxidants

to protect your body from the damage that can cause a higher risk for cancer and heart

disease.

Green Tea.

Green tea contains catechins, which have a very healthy anti-oxidant effect.

A 2006 study published in the JAMA Network showed that those who drank four or more cups

of green tea a day reduced their risk of cardiovascular disease by 20%.

You can also reduce your risk for coronary artery disease by exercising more, quitting

smoking, reducing alcohol consumption, reducing your intake of sugar and hydrogenated oils

and reducing your stress level to prevent dangerous fluctuations in your blood pressure.

And don't forget to laugh every chance you get.

A happy body is a healthy body.

Unboxing Haul #6 - Best #AliExpress Finds | AliHolic - Duration: 6:17.

Hello, my dear Aliholics!

Here is another auction of generosity provided by kind AliExpress sellers.

What are we going to see today?

You're about to find out!

Links to all the products are in the description.

The link for the giveaway results will be listed at the end of the video - look out

for the gift box icon.

The first product that we are going to unbox today is the $22 Bluedio BS-2 speaker with

an unfortunate model name, that we have previously seen in the 5-25 dollar speaker review video.

This thing packs the most natural sound, and beautifully sounding bass.

Although it only becomes noticeable at around 30hz, it is strong and dimensional.

BS-2 is an open-back speaker, which means 'bigger' and a more "in a world around

me" type of sound.

This speaker also has a 3D mode which makes the sound - please excuse the redundancy - even

more dimensional, analytical and deep.

The next product is a new mechanical watch that was just below $17 with free shipping.

The watch was shipped in a bubble mailer and wrapped in foam, and it did not sustain any

damage.

The body is made from brushed metal with soft edges, and the straps are made out of thick

faux leather.

The mechanical watches mean that they do not have a conventional battery, and the watches

need to be shook to wind them up - the mechanism inside provisions it.

The watches keep time correctly, as long as the mechanism is wound up.

Otherwise, it takes about 2 hours for them to completely stop moving.

This watch is quite heavy, and it does not feel cheap at all.

The link to this watch is in the description.

The next package is 2 new acrylic pins.

They are usually shipped inside bubble mailers with no additional foam.

Each pin costs about $0.50.

They are made out of acryl, which is a type of plastic.

They are quite thick and solid.

Each has a safety pin mechanism at the back and a layer of protective film on the front.

What do you think is in the next package?

Here we have a stretchy bungee cord.

The cord itself is about 70 cm or just over 2 feet long, and it can stretch up to 2 times

in length.

Bungee cords like that are generally used for transportation, I like this one because

the plastic ends are just big enough to attach to the rear rack of my motorcycle.

Here I am using it to attach a portable grill.

The plastic hooks are pretty sturdy and thick, although I question their longevity, and doubt

that they would last forever.

But for $1.30 that it currently goes for, I can afford to replace them every season.

This package is full of magic.

Here we have a bolt that unscrews itself.

Real magicians don't share their secrets, but I am going to let you in on it: inside

the bolt is a tiny vibrating mechanism, so you put a small round battery inside, and

attach another one to either the back of your finger with a skin-colored tape, or hide it

under the table.

When the outside battery touches the bolt, the thing starts to quietly vibrate and the

bolt comes off.

Everything including the batteries and the tape comes with, and it costs just around

$2.

Some electronics on AliExpress are only sold with European-type plugs, and I have some

electronics that I bought outside of North America, so I purchased a bunch of these adapters.

These were sold for $0.32 for 2, so I got 4 just in case.

I will also link US to European ones in the description below.

And here we have an adapter centipede.

Moving on.

The next package is a big one.

This is something that I've never bought online before, and I'm pretty excited to

share this with you, my dear friends.

This is a $20 clothing organizer.

The pipes are made from some thin meta - the description says steel, which I can't deny

or confirm, and the edges are plastic.

You can build it in a way that you desire, with or without the bottom compartment.

Since we planned on using it as a coat rack, I decided that the bottom compartment would

be useful to have, so I kept it.

So far we've had it for about 5 months, and it stands strong so far.

It did tilt to the side a bit, but considering how much stuff we regularly put on it I am

very surprised that it still in otherwise perfect condition.

This thing is about 140 cm or a little over 4.5 feet tall.

It took me about 10 minutes to put it together, and it could take less or more depending on

your skills.

You could play around with it, make it taller or shorter, this is how we have it, and I'm

happy with it so far.

There are usually about between 6 and 8 jackets on it, as well as Maria's motorcycle gear,

some hats and scarves on top, and shoes on the bottom.

As you can see, we get some good use out of it.

And this is all for today!

If you have participated in the giveaway from the month ago, make sure to click the gift

icon to see the results, and if you didn't - check out the unboxing playlist for more

awesome stuff from AliExpress.

Cheers!
