Hi Everyone, I'm recording this video in
compliment to the email that I sent to
you earlier. I just wanted to walk you
through what I was talking about in that
email, as I have now Camtasia on my
desktop, which is exciting for me. So, I
thought let me test it out. So, I
apologize early for the sound quality
and the lack of effects but this is just
a quick and simple dirty video just so
that you can see the basics. So, when you
open up Clockworks, the first screen you
see is this one. You'll click workshops.
It will take you to this screen. You'll
notice that I've trimmed the options for
Events and Workshops here. Now, we no
longer have just Event, just Workshops
with all the individual ones. I've made
them this basic so that when we are
doing the statistics we can go by these
general ones, but don't worry you'll have
an opportunity to put in more detail in
the individual appointments, which will
appear here once we do one together. So,
let's do this new appointments. So, I'm
just making up this is a test. So, first
I'll go into say Main Workshops. I'll do
a diversity workshop, and I'll just put
here Test - Racism, seems to be front of
mind these days. The location. I'm going
to put the whole location so I ask you
to do the same. In terms of the campus,
write the address,
the room number. Okay, it's not necessary
to put your room number in here. If you
do I'm not going to be mad at you. but I'm
just going to say it's not necessary because
everything could just go into the one line
Location. Um, in the Memo you also have an
opportunity to write some things here
but again it's not necessary because I'm
assuming that you'll have a PowerPoint
or other documentation that you can add
which will give us details that we need
and therefore we will have access to it
however the Memo, if there's details here
it will come out on the report and that
will come here so what I'm saying is you
can write in the memo you don't have to
better you use the attachments so when
we want to now say who is the
facilitator for this particular point oh
right in my name
and you'll notice that my name comes up
twice as the staffing student because
I've also done content courses here so
I'm going to go into staff and you'll
see how it comes up here so double click
on that alright and then I have the
option to put myself as a facilitator
but suppose I wanted to add you as a as
a attendee okay so go back and I go in
and I go to it so jennette comes up with
stuff I'm going to click on her and now
I have an option to add her as an active
student or another facilitator so forth
right so for this purpose I'm going to
put in alright so once this is done then
I'm going to move to the blue box right
and to fill in the blue box I need to
use this this key right here so I could
fill it in so for instance the requester
if I go here it will tell me if it's a
faculty I'm going to say Pat go see if I
go here there is not another but if I
did I could write it in there the
requesters name I could just put what
here's myself as an example for
everything so sorry if it's competitive
um and then again and I just fill them
in as such right again as I was talking
to you before for the attachments I'd
add the date here and then it had the
option to choose from wherever the file
is located right so just for um just for
demonstration I'll just take it
all right so right stay that's what I
was using for on this particular
workshop as a resource okay and that
should show blow see right there okay
and then when we finish we save it and
we are done okay I am NOT going to save
this I'm just going to close it all
right but if I did say that it would
look something like this right so you
see how all of the information that
aquitted is also here all of this that
you see also comes up on report so it's
really good to to have as many of the
fields filled out as possible okay if
