University of Oregon Schools and Colleges: Lundquist College of Business - Duration: 1:48.

I think of the Oregon way as living a life of meaning

and doing something much more than just making money.

You know, actually having an impact on this planet. And I feel so fortunate to be able

to work with these undergrads and these MBAs who are the leaders of tomorrow

if not already today.

I would definitely say the networking skills here, they've allowed me to connect

reach out to different alumni.

I've connected to three different alumni at ESPN, and I was able to do informational interviews

with the help of many of my different teachers, coaching me along the way.

There's so many professors who have gained valuable experience in the real world

and they're more than willing to transfer that in their classrooms and their daily jobs.

For example, I have this one professor, she makes a point that we're going

to have to do this in the real world.

And she relates it to her past consulting jobs.

So, you understand that this is important.

And it makes it easier to grasp the concept.

Because you know how it applies to real life positions in the business world.

One of the things that really is unique about the Lundquist College of Business is that

integration of the undergraduate students and the MBAs.

The undergraduates bring a whole different dimension to it

that the MBAs appreciate very much.

Our new building in Portland is going to be an incredible place for students to develop

connections and internships, jobs in Portland.

You're surrounded by people that really want you to succeed.

It's not a competition anymore.

You all want to push each other up.

Trapped in a single gaze - Duration: 4:21.

Initially, this performance was made for one of my classes and this box represented my fears.

You could call it like "the box of fears".

As a young Muslim Asian woman, I was experiencing a lot of hatred, a lot of fear on campus and

I just didn't know what to do with this fear and how can I just let it all out, you know.

And with this performance, I just wanted to show, probably describe how I am feeling.

I really wanted to portray the current political situation happening not only in the US but

worldwide in general and I wanted to portray my feelings, my emotions and what I came to

experience of what Islamophobia is.

The idea of all Muslim people being terrorists, or "Allah-freaks", religious "Allah-freaks",

it's not right, you know.

This one single idea, this one single perception, because not all people are like that and there's

just so much more to a person than what you judge of him, of what you think of him.

This is just the message for all people not to do that and just respect everyone and just

treat everyone equally.

In thes hard times just find peace and find love for each other... and just, I don't know,

peace and love.

In this video I wanted to show the concept of fear, the concept of being trapped and

these faded figures represent our fears, our artificial us, they are not real - they are

just ghosts.

And in the end, when Azhar takes out the tape off her mouth, she is free.

She gets free, and all her fears disappear, they come together into the real body.

She accepts her fears, she accepts her emotions and now she is at peace with herself and she

is at peace with everything.

In the video we showed only a Muslim group, we showed only Islamophobia and xenophobia,

but still there are much more, there are much more cases of discrimination, unfortunately,

and they all must be covered and they all must be seen.

That's why it's so important just to be human beings and just respect each other.

President Trump Triggers CNN So Badly They Refuse To Air His Stunning '100 Days' Video - Duration: 2:33.

President Trump Triggers CNN So Badly They Refuse To Air His Stunning '100 Days'

Video

President Trump created an ad that shows off everything he has achieved in the first 100

days.

Now CNN is refusing to air it.

The video discusses appointing Gorsuch, the creation of 500,000 new jobs, "the biggest

tax cut plan in history."

It also says that would "you wouldn't know from watching the news," with a graphic

of 'Fake News' covering CNN's Wolf Blitzer and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow.

CNN announced that they would refuse to air the ad that calls them Fake News.

"CNN requested that the advertiser remove the false graphic that the mainstream media

is 'fake news.'

The mainstream media is not fake news, and therefore the ad is false and per policy will

be accepted only if that graphic is deleted," wrote CNN.

The commercial took 1.5 million dollars to make and Michael Glassner, Executive Director

of 'Donald J. Trump For President Inc, was furious that the network was censoring his

free speech.

"It is absolutely shameful to see the media blocking the positive message that President

Trump is trying to share with the country.

It's clear that CNN is trying to silence our voice and censor our free speech because

it doesn't fit their narrative," said Glassner.

"This is censorship pure and simple.

By rejecting our ad, CNN has proven that it supports censorship is biased and fears an

opposing point of view.

President Trump's loyal supporters know the truth: The mainstream media mislead, misguide,

deceive, and distract.

CNN epitomizes the meaning of fake news and has proven it by rejecting our paid campaign

ad," said Glassner.

Check out the ad below.

Quick Tutorial - Duration: 5:25.

Hi Everyone, I'm recording this video in

compliment to the email that I sent to

you earlier. I just wanted to walk you

through what I was talking about in that

email, as I have now Camtasia on my

desktop, which is exciting for me. So, I

thought let me test it out. So, I

apologize early for the sound quality

and the lack of effects but this is just

a quick and simple dirty video just so

that you can see the basics. So, when you

open up Clockworks, the first screen you

see is this one. You'll click workshops.

It will take you to this screen. You'll

notice that I've trimmed the options for

Events and Workshops here. Now, we no

longer have just Event, just Workshops

with all the individual ones. I've made

them this basic so that when we are

doing the statistics we can go by these

general ones, but don't worry you'll have

an opportunity to put in more detail in

the individual appointments, which will

appear here once we do one together. So,

let's do this new appointments. So, I'm

just making up this is a test. So, first

I'll go into say Main Workshops. I'll do

a diversity workshop, and I'll just put

here Test - Racism, seems to be front of

mind these days. The location. I'm going

to put the whole location so I ask you

to do the same. In terms of the campus,

write the address,

the room number. Okay, it's not necessary

to put your room number in here. If you

do I'm not going to be mad at you. but I'm

just going to say it's not necessary because

everything could just go into the one line

Location. Um, in the Memo you also have an

opportunity to write some things here

but again it's not necessary because I'm

assuming that you'll have a PowerPoint

or other documentation that you can add

which will give us details that we need

and therefore we will have access to it

however the Memo, if there's details here

it will come out on the report and that

will come here so what I'm saying is you

can write in the memo you don't have to

better you use the attachments so when

we want to now say who is the

facilitator for this particular point oh

right in my name

and you'll notice that my name comes up

twice as the staffing student because

I've also done content courses here so

I'm going to go into staff and you'll

see how it comes up here so double click

on that alright and then I have the

option to put myself as a facilitator

but suppose I wanted to add you as a as

a attendee okay so go back and I go in

and I go to it so jennette comes up with

stuff I'm going to click on her and now

I have an option to add her as an active

student or another facilitator so forth

right so for this purpose I'm going to

put in alright so once this is done then

I'm going to move to the blue box right

and to fill in the blue box I need to

use this this key right here so I could

fill it in so for instance the requester

if I go here it will tell me if it's a

faculty I'm going to say Pat go see if I

go here there is not another but if I

did I could write it in there the

requesters name I could just put what

here's myself as an example for

everything so sorry if it's competitive

um and then again and I just fill them

in as such right again as I was talking

to you before for the attachments I'd

add the date here and then it had the

option to choose from wherever the file

is located right so just for um just for

demonstration I'll just take it

all right so right stay that's what I

was using for on this particular

workshop as a resource okay and that

should show blow see right there okay

and then when we finish we save it and

we are done okay I am NOT going to save

this I'm just going to close it all

right but if I did say that it would

look something like this right so you

see how all of the information that

aquitted is also here all of this that

you see also comes up on report so it's

really good to to have as many of the

fields filled out as possible okay if

you have any questions please call me

I'm at four seven one five thank you

ALEX on Leave of Absence - Duration: 1:07.

Taking a leave of absence is stressful.

But add a heap of eligibility factors and state-specific rules,

and your employees practically need a leave of absence from their Leave of Absence just to figure it out.

Well… I don't know if you know this,

but making complex benefits stuff a breeze is kind of our jam.

We ask your employees a few quick questions to understand why they're leaving and what they're eligible for...

... and then translate mountains of paperwork into a few easy-to-understand visuals

that break down how long they can be out,

how much money they might get,

whether their insurance coverage will continue,

whether their job is protected, and so much more.

We'll even help them start the actual application process.

In other words, if you like sanity...

... you'll love ALEX on Leave of Absence!

Liberals Turn On Stephen Colbert, He Could Be Getting Fired Over A Trump Joke That Went Too Far - Duration: 2:35.

Liberals Turn On Stephen Colbert, He Could Be Getting Fired Over A Trump Joke That Went

Too Far

Late Show 'Comedian' Stephen Colbert went on a bitter, hateful rant against President

Trump that was so offensive even many liberals were angry about it. Now they are demanding

that Colbert be fired.

"Mr. President, I love your presidency, I call it "Disgrace The Nation." You're

not the POTUS, you're the "Gloat-Us." You're the glutton with the button. You're

a regular "Gorge Washington." You're the "presi-dunce" but you're turning

into a real "prick-tator," started Colbert. It gets much worse.

"Sir, you attract more skinheads than free Rogaine. You have more people marching against

you than cancer. You talk like a sign-language gorilla that got hit in the head. In fact,

the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin's c*ck holster," said Colbert.

That last line really ticked people off. Many people wrote about how it was 'homophobic'.

"Homophobia for the right cause, with the right targets, is good homophobia, apparently,"

wrote Glenn Greenwald. The Huffington Post called him 'homophobic'. "Colbert's

decision to make this kind of joke illustrates a kind of casual homophobia that permeates

American culture ― even among supposed liberal allies with massive media platforms," writes

the Huffington Post.

"It positions sex between two men as doing something so mockable and inherently emasculating

that it's the ultimate "f*ck you" to Donald Trump ― because what could be more

embarrassing to a man than having a c**k in his mouth? And what could be more offensive

that being compared to ― or put in the submissive position of ― a woman?" wrote the post.

The hashtag #FireColbert has been circulating social media.
