My confrere was quite surprized to see that

I actually bite and chew the Eucharist,

that when receiving Jesus in the Holy Communion,

The reasoning behind it

is the word I once heard from someone that

Jesus wants to be chewed.

Jesus wants to be consumed.

The Gospel of today states it clearly:

You are to consume my body.

What does it mean?

This means He wants to become one with me.

Yes, He wants to be bitten and chewed.

He wants to become my food,

the nourishment for me as a whole.

Nourishment for my mind, my spiritual faculties, as well as for my body,

for me as a whole. Because I am made of a soul and a body.

And I, as Wojtek Jędrzejewski, am saved in my thoughts, in my soul,

and also in my body which receives Jesus.

So that this body together with the complete Wojtek Jędrzejewski

could be resurrected by the Lord I consume.
