Youtube daily report May 5 2017

I'm humming a song

A song I release

To where my finger points out

The point I see with my eyes closed

See

Hand in hand that hand of yours

May be someone else's hand I don't know

Hand in hand I'm holding the hand

Forever

To the future

Don't cry

You don't just understand this yet

Words and feelings

Are something you barely see

The gentleness changes tomorrow

The gentleness

I release to people I love, things I like

And places I like

See

Hand in hand a song you shouted

Will wrap

Hand in hand Someone else's hand

Without any hesitation

So

Hand in hand these strong feelings

Will embrace someone else's shoulder

Hand in hand remember this

Forever

To the future

These casual words

And these forgotten melodies

Create smiles

Before I know

This affection

You draw with your voice, with your finger

And with your heart will spread

To tomorrow

See

Hand in hand the hand you're holding

Will wipe away

Hand in hand Someone else's tears

In faraway place

So

Hand in hand these strong feelings

Will embrace someone else's shoulder

Hand in hand remember this

Forever

To the future

I'm humming a song

A song I release

To where my finger points out

The point I see with my eyes closed

See

Hand in hand the hand you're holding

Will wipe away

Hand in hand Someone else's tears

In faraway place

So

Hand in hand a song you shouted

Will wrap

Hand in hand Someone else's hand

Without any hesitation

So

Hand in hand these strong feelings

Will embrace someone else's shoulder

Hand in hand remember this

Forever

To the future

Microsoft's NEW Surface Laptop - Perfect For Students? - Duration: 5:47.

Hey guys, Brainy here with a Brand New video and if you've been paying attention to What's

been going on this week, Especially with Microsoft and their Education event which was held on

the 2nd of May, You'd know that Microsoft announced a brand new Laptop, Which is named

the Surface Laptop.

So I thought I'd update you guys on what you should know about this new Piece of Tech.

Inside the Surface Laptop on the base model, which will debut on June 15th priced at $999,

is Intel's latest Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB SSD.

Microsoft is using a 13.5-inch PixelSense display, running at a 2256 x 1504 resolution,

along with support for the Surface Pen and touch.

It's a 3:2 aspect ratio, so it looks just like a Surface Pro 4 or Surface Book display.

The Other much higher end model has a 512GB SSD, 16GB of RAM, and an intel i7 processor

. Microsoft has made the Surface Laptop display

look like it's glued directly to the keyboard without a hinge, thanks to a repositioning

of the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth antennas.

On the right-hand side there's a Surface connector for power and connections to docks,

and on the left there's a regular USB port, a mini DisplayPort, and a headphone jack.

Unfortunately, Microsoft hasn't added USB-C here, and that's disappointing given that

the majority of high-end laptops are shipping with at least one USB-C port.

An article from the Verge actually Stated that they asked Microsoft why there were no

USB-C Ports, and the answer was very interesting.

The responses all pointed to a lack of maturity in USB-C with power and cable issues, and

just a broad lack of market adoption.

Microsoft felt its target audience for the Surface Laptop would be more likely to make

use of a mini DisplayPort and traditional USB port than the new USB-C connections.

And I kinda get it since this thing is actually intended for use by students.

Now, another interesting thing that you should know is that With this Surface Laptop comes

a new-ish operating system.

Windows 10S.

It's designed for education and to take on Chromebooks and Chrome OS.

Just like Google's own OS, Windows 10 S is fairly locked down in places and you'll

only be able to run apps from the Windows Store.

As I just stated, The biggest change to Windows 10 S is that it's locked to only work with

Windows Store apps.

That means you'll need to find apps in the Store to download and install them, and many

desktop apps like Photoshop and Chrome simply aren't in the Store yet.

Microsoft does allow developers to port their desktop apps into the Windows Store, but not

many have taken advantage of this feature just yet.

Microsoft is adding its full suite of Office apps to the Windows Store, and Spotify has

committed to bringing its music streaming app to the Store.

And again, I'll mention that this device is targeted at students who will most likely

not need to use apps such as photoshop or adobe premiere unless they're doing some

sort of special course.

Also, Microsoft claims that security and performance will both be improved with Windows 10 S. Apps

won't be able to run unless they're packaged and available in the Windows Store, so that

should help prevent malware and unnecessary app helpers from running at boot up.

Microsoft has also improved the first sign-in process of Windows 10 S, with better login

times which will help in environments like schools.

Microsoft will support alternative browsers in the Windows Store, but Windows 10 S users

won't be able to alter their default browser.

That means if you click on a link from an app in Windows 10 S then you'll be forced

into Microsoft's Edge browser.

That's similar to Google's Chrome OS, which only lets you use Chrome as the browser.

Microsoft is also locking down Microsoft Edge to only work with its Bing search engine in

Windows 10 S. That means you won't be able to switch to Google search to easily type

in queries in the address bar or elsewhere, and you'll have to access the search service

through Google.com.

Which is kinda time consuming at times, but it's an easy wall to climb.

Fortunately, if you need desktop apps that aren't in the Windows Store then Microsoft

has a quick fix for Windows 10 S. For $49 you can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro and get

access to desktop apps.

On a low-cost device this seems reasonable, but it's an additional cost for more premium

devices.

We haven't seen many of those announced with Windows 10 S yet, but Microsoft's Surface

Laptop will include a free Windows 10 Pro upgrade until the end of the year.

So that's a bit of relieving news right there.

The Surface Laptop starts at $999 and goes up from there, which is not the price range

most people would immediately associate with a student laptop.

(It's £979 in the UK and AU$1,499 in Australia.)

But according to Microsoft VP of Devices Panos Panay, the man in charge of the Surface line,

the Surface Laptop is indeed for students -- specifically college-bound ones looking

to invest in a serious PC to get them through years of higher education.

But many of the other Windows 10 S laptops demoed at the same event will cost between

$189 and $299, so the Surface Laptop represents a pretty significant price jump over those.

So that's about it for the basics of the Surface Laptop.

CEMENT CANDLE HOLDER (english Subtitles) DIY CRAFT - Duration: 2:43.

Hello! Welcome to another DIY video !

Our today project concerns the summer decoration of our home!

The weather is fine now and we use to spend the nights outside,

at our balcony, where we've already set our garden furniture.

So, we need a candle holder, which will offer us a romantic and relaxed mood.

I'm going to show you how to make a candle holder,

easily and quickly, using some concrete and a balloon!

First we'll mix some concrete.

What we need to keep in mind is to receive a consistency which is good to work with!

Then we'll place our balloon upon a glass

and cover it with the concrete.

We'll leave it for approximately 48 hours.

After the concrete dried,

we remove the balloon and then, using the color we like, we paint the interior of our craft!

Our project is ready!

Easy, fast, impressive and fits into any decoration style!

If you would try to make it, you'll certainly get positive comments!

Secrets The Lottery Doesn't Want You To Know - Duration: 7:05.

You may have a better chance of getting hit by a meteor than winning the lottery, but

that temptation to win the big jackpot is hard to resist.

"Three days wasted looking through 200,000 lottery tickets."

"Those weren't the lottery tickets.

That was a test.

THESE are the lottery tickets."

After all, what harm could spending a few dollars do when the right ticket could completely

change your life?

Well, more than you think.

Before you start buying weekly scratch-offs or planning the mansion you'll be buying with

your Powerball winnings, here are some lottery secrets you really oughta know...

Preying on the poor

States run their lottery programs because they consider it a harmless way to make money.

CNN reported that, in 2014, the citizens of the 43 states with a lottery spent a whopping

$70 billion on it…

More than all other forms of entertainment

"Which means Americans basically spent more on the lottery than they spent on America!"

But the spending isn't distributed equally through the classes.

North Carolina found the poorest counties had the highest lotto sales:

"Out of the 20 counties with poverty rates higher than 20 percent, 18 had lottery sales

topping the statewide average of $200 per adult."

In other words, poorer people are more likely to spend more money on the lotto, because

it represents a dream to get out of poverty.

The government isn't completely innocent in giving poor people this dream, either.

The lottery has been accused of targeting low-income communities through their advertisements.

"Can I ask you, if you won all the money, what would you do with it?"

"Bunch of hookers and cocaine."

"Oh OK, that's not good.

We were hoping for a different answer."

A Carnegie Mellon study found that "lotteries set off a vicious cycle that not only exploits

low-income individuals' desires to escape poverty but also directly prevents them from

improving upon their financial situations."

So, states may be increasing their money flow, and that's good.

But they're doing it by keeping poor people poor.

That's not good.

Scratch-off blues

People don't just get hooked on the regular, "pick your numbers" lottery.

Scratch-offs are huge business.

A common assumption is that since the payouts are smaller, the chances of winning are better.

But no: all lottery chances are objectively horrible.

"Down to my last lottery ticket.

Cherry.

Cherry!

Mule.

Crud!"

In New York, the scratch-off with the best payoff averages a payout of 88 cents per dollar.

This $30 "Win $1 Million a Year for Life" ticket is so good, you'll only lose $3.60

every time you play!

That's still a lot better than the "Lucky Tripler," a not-so-lucky dollar scratch-off

that pays out only 59 cents on the dollar.

Most of the scratch-offs in the $1 to $10 range pay off around 61 cents per dollar,

making them at least the second worst investment idea ever.

"Aha, once again the conservative sandwich-heavy portfolio pays off for the hungry investor!

Oh!

I'm ruined!"

The lottery tax

If the government called the lotto by its proper name, sales wouldn't be soaring — because

the lottery should be called a tax.

For starters, according to a 2002 paper by Professor Ross Rubenstein of Georgia State

University, the lottery basically taxes you just for playing:

"Although purchases of lottery tickets are 'voluntary,' the implicit tax on a dollar

spent on a lottery product is not voluntary, just as sales taxes paid on purchased goods

are not voluntary."

But some analysts go even further and argue that the lottery itself is a tax, working

the same way as an income tax or a property tax.

Only instead of an income tax, where the government gets paid proportionately to what people make,

the lottery taxes the poor by a ridiculously high margin.

"I have a joke for you."

"Ok."

"The government in this town is excellent and uses your tax dollars efficiently."

(Laughs)

States have a pretty good incentive to keep this going.

In 2009, 11 states made more money from the state lottery than they did from corporate

income taxes.

In Rhode Island, the lotto brought in more than twice as much as corporate taxes.

But it's all worth it if you hit the jackpot, right?

Well...even then the state governments get a juicy payout.

Anyone who wins more than $600 will get the thrill of paying a 45-percent tax.

Then...at least all that tax money is going to a good cause?

Not so fast...

Education

Okay, so the lottery's not good for poor people, but it's helping schools, so we can't get

rid of it.

Think of the children, right?

The California Lottery alone raised $1.39 billion and gave $97 million to the Los Angeles

Unified School district for the 2014–2015 school year.

This can't possibly have a downside.

Can it?

"They've used it for things like supplies, laptops, even tools for an automotive class."

"Sockets, ratchets, wrenches, pliers..."

Except that of course it has a downside.

Often, the money goes into the state's general fund.

From there, the money can be used for anything, which means the income from that "Education

Lottery" doesn't always end up in schools.

Even when states do allocate lottery money to education, legislators can factor all that

sweet lottery cash into the budget and start giving out fewer government funds.

In the end, education spending stays exactly the same — or gets worse.

According to Russ Lopez, the spokesman for the California Lottery:

"The California Lottery was created to supplement public schools.

Not to totally fund public schools, not to resolve all their problems.

[...] So we don't do a lot for schools; it's a modest contribution."

Retailer scams

Okay, the odds aren't great, and the wrong people are targeted, and schools don't actually

get much of anything.

But at least lotto winners get the fun of cashing in their tickets with no problems,

right?

Of course not.

Lottery retailers scam people all the time!

This isn't some ingenious, number-running business — it's a pretty simple con.

They just...lie.

Retailers will often take the winner's ticket and say, "This isn't a winner."

Then, the retailer keeps the ticket and cashes in the winnings.

It's not quite a brilliant scheme, but it works.

Several states have had to conduct sting operations on retailers where customers have complained.

The undercover cop gives the clerk a "marked" ticket and arrests them when they try to claim

the winnings.

"They found the store owner did scam the developmentally disabled woman out of her lottery winnings."

Sure, that undercover cop might not get the same bragging rights as the guy who, say,

infiltrated a Mexican cartel, but it does curb the rampant scamming.

Winning to lose

Even if everything else is bad about it, at least the lottery gives a new lease on life

for the few lucky ones that defy the odds and win millions.

Except, people don't usually do well with a sudden fortune.

Forbes reports that a third of lottery winners end up bankrupt, and many more suffer from

increased rates of depression, divorce, and suicide.

That's not to say that every lottery winner throws all their earnings away, but a lot

of them do.

Billie Bob Harrell, Jr. is a particularly sad example of winning gone wrong.

Harrell won $31 million, and only 20 months later he was broke and divorced, and eventually

killed himself.

Before he died, he said, "Winning the lottery is the worst thing that ever happened to me."

Man, the lottery sucks.

If you want to feel like a winner, there's a much better option out there:

"Make sure the mushroom's on top, and you put it in the hole.

Then just wait.

Jackprot!"

(awkward cutting mistake I didnt see before...)

I didn't enjoy the game... (surprise!)

I know that you, people like this kind of stuff

you like to see when someone is scared

you wouldn't play the game yourself would you?

this is soo...

you kind of..

don't want to play it but....

at the same time you feel like....

it's the curiosity that makes you...

do things you dont want to do...

and that's why i play this game

so...

i hope you enjoyed it and see you in the next one

see ya

Adventures in Japan #2 : Come revitalizing yourself in Yufuin! - Duration: 11:16.

Hi everyone, today I'm taking you to Yufuin,

which is about 1 hour by train from Oita.

Yufuin is well-known for its many health resorts

and its luxurious ryokan (Japanese traditional inn).

With my friend Lia, we decided to climb Mount Yufu.

We're also going to visit the village

and relax in an onsen (Japanese hot spring).

Actually I'm super scared now.

I've never ever done that.

In the end, we took the easiest path because

climbing with the chain was really hard.

So we took the other path that was much easier.

It was still slippery because it rained yesterday.

But everything was fine.

It was much easier than climbing Mount Tsurumi

that was much harder hike.

Really, it was a very nice hike!

I decided to go back to Yufuin to visit the village

because last time we didn't have enough time.

Now I'm taking a path which is not used at all,

to reach Kinrinko Lake.

Even though it's Wednesday,

there are quite a few tourists

so I hope the stroll will be enjoyable.

There is

There is Kiki's Bakery.

It's over there! Let's go?

I got a Kabosu ice cream.

Kabosu is Oita's speciality.

It's a citrus fruit like lemon

it's not bad at all I like it very much.

I'm a fan of citrus anyway, it had to work for me.

Back to Oita : Focus on something that struck me while in Yufuin

A thing that was bitterly disappointing in Yufuin,

it's that there were trash everywhere.

Whether plastic bags, cans, carton or

plastic bottles, or cigarette ends,

I've seen some everywhere!

Along the riverbank, in Kinrinko Lake, in green areas...

it was disgusting, I was revolted.

I think it's because of tourists

as it's a very famous tourist attraction.

Actually I don't really know why.

I don't understand how people come to do this.

When you are at least a little civilized

you keep your trash in your pocket

and then dispose of them in a trash can at home

or when you see one in the street,

here in Japan there are some near conbinis.

Yeah, I agree with the fact that there is

a lack of public trash can,

there is actually a big lack of public trash can in Japan

but to say the least it's not a reason

to throw your trash away in the nature.

I'm revolted.

But I think we can't blame only tourists

because this problem doesn't only exist in Yufuin.

I've also seen some in the river running through Oita city.

Apparently there are some on the beach as well.

Well, I'm sorry I bumped into two students of Oita University

and my friend Fruzsina from Hungary

and now we're eating a kebab together

and I don't remember what I was talking about just now.

I guess I was talking about beaches of Oita Prefecture

which are disgusting as well.

I want to talk about Sebastien's project who lives in Oita

and who leads a project where once a month

he goes to clean up the beaches with a small team

It's a very nice action, here is a link to his blog.

Just to say,

it's not only a tourist's problem

but also a problem in Japan in general, I think

Streets may well be clean

in reality, it's not clean everywhere.
