Hello everyone Welcome on RCTutos.fr

Today we are back for the assembly of the Fisher Guy from Boat'n Bros RC

So we have the same box that in the first video

with different 3d printed parts

and some parts like motor, motor mount, axle, bollard

propeller and screws

So let's start the build together

So first you need the 2 parts for floor and the 2 parts for deck

you need a 2 compound resin glue

and something to mix the glue

so let's prepare some resin glue, you don't need a lot

and you can glue the parts

first we used a cooking paper sheet

to use the flat support and the low grip of the paper when the glue will be hard

let's glue now the deck

and you can join the 2 parts

you can now hold 5 minuts

we choose some 5 minuts hardening resin

so you hold 5 minuts

the other part there, is flat so no need to hold it

but this one moves a bit so we need to hold

the 2 parts are glued, we can now save them to let it hard well

let's grab the 2 parts for the hull

and we will put some glue on all the contact surface

So you prepare some glue

you need a bit more this time

no need to mix too much glue, we dont use a lot

and you mix

and you apply glue on all surface

let's put now the half hull on the other

you align the 2 parts

now the hull is glued, we can install the floor on the hull

you will apply resin on all the flat base of the hull

before installing the floor

so you prepare some glue

you put a good ammount, as the resin will make the waterproofing of the floor

you can now put the floor

you clean the excess of glue

now let's harden the glue

now we can grab the deck and install the hood

so let's prepare some glue

you need some clamps to hold it

you prepare some glue

and you apply some glue on the hood

the round side upper, flat side on contact qith the deck

you align the hood on the deck and block the clamps

so let's harden the glue

let's grab the rudder

these 2 parts fits like that

you prepare some glue

and you put some on this side

like that

you make it fit

and you let it harden

next we prepare the lexan windows , we cut them on good size

to make them fit with cabin

dont forget to peel off the protective film on both sides

and we will use cyano glue

you glue all around the window

and you install windows

be aware of a good contact of the window around the hole

we let this dry

next we need the cabin roof

and while windows dry, we prepare some glue

next we will glue cabin here

cabin aligns with the V of the hood

let's put some glue on the V

and put some glue around here on the cabin

you can now make them fit

and you let the glue harden

now we can glue the roof of the cabin

you put some glue around the top of cabin

you can now place the roof

you can switch steps

so first glue the roof before gluing the cabin on the deck

so you can mark the centers to put it well aligned

the advantage with the resin, is that we have time to make it fit well and center the roof

it's good so we can let it harden

now you grab motor and motor mount

and the 2 screws for motor

we will install motor on motor mount

motor mount goes on the front part of the hull

on the flat zone, but you need to mount the motor first on the mount

you need to glue it like that

at the limit of junction

so you can mount the motor

let's prepare the 2 supports for the hull

you grab the 4 bases

you can prepare some glue

and put some on the contact zone

and you can install the motor on the front of the hull at the junction

and you hold while it harden

so now you can grab the axle, coupler and allen key

on the coupler you have 2 holes, the small goes on the motor

big goes on axle

you can put the axle in the tube

and install the coupler first on axle

and you can tighten the screw on the axle part

like that

next you put the coupler on motor axle

and you can tighten

be aware the center axle is full inserted

you pres on the axle before tightening

next step will be to resin al around the axle here

and all around here

we suggest you to fill the axle with marin grease

to avoid water to go in the hull

so we will prepare resin and make a joint here, let it dry

and do the same on the other side

let's prepare some glue

and you apply resin around the axle

to make it waterproof

now let it dry

now we reverse the boat and do the same on the other side

like that

while the axle harden, you probably have a bit of glue remaining, we will use it to glue the rudder support

you center it and put it at the level of the floor (dont look at the video there is a mistake)

you just need a drop of glue

the advantage is you don tneed to wait as the resin is already activated

you center the part and align with the floor, not like shown in video

and you hold it till it's glued

now we can install the propeller so you unscrew the bolt

you grab the propeller, ther is a direction

this part goes on the coupler

and you can tighten

the props is free to turn

so let's grab the long screw

you need a flat screwdriver

and we install the rudder

like that, the rudder is free to move

the propeller is free to turn

motor is installed

now let's install the servo on the servo mount

you put the servo like that

you put 2 screws on the servo

i suggest you to use allen screws

if you need to unmount servo when support will be glued

before gluing the servo mount, put the servo on neutral

connect it to the receiver and put the transmitter trims on neutral

after that you can install the rudder vertically

if needed you can cut it to make it fit with the deck of the boat

now you have cut the rudder, you can glue the servo mount

it's easy, the square in the hull fits with the square of the mount

like that

you prepare some glue and install the servo mount on the hull

servo saver comes on the left of the boat

you hold while it glues

let's make now the steering

at 1cm you can flex the spindle at 90°

you put it in the hole of the hull

like that

and you install it in the rudder

servo is centered

we align ethe rudder

and mark where we need to flex the spindle

you need a pen

and you make a mark

the place you need to flex to go inside the rudder

you can take off at the servo

but you let the spindle in the hull

you can now flex 90°

next you put the spindle in the rudder

you can cut if needed

next you install in the servo saver

like that, the steering works

the boat is now finished

you can now go to the finishing steps

you need to varnish the hull or with marine varnish or with resin

and you can make a silicon joint around the hull and the floor

to waterproof it

if you do this, and grease inside the tube

the boat will be waterproof

so it was the build of the Fisher Guy from Boat'n Bros RC

with the cyano, it makes the windows white

if you can use another plastic glue or resin and hold thel with clamps

it will avoid the white windows

Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo - The ultimate stationwagon - Duration: 14:53.

I'm saying the name one more time. It's the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo.

That's the order in which Porsche wanted to stick it on the rear, but it didn't fit.

We already know the engine in this car from the normal Panamera Turbo.

It's a 4-liter V8 with 542 hp and 770 Nm (568 lb ft) torque.

However, an electric motor has been added.

Porsche says it's technology from the 918. That's probably true.

The electric motor has 134 hp and 400 Nm (295 lb ft) torque.

Add this for a total of 671 hp and 850 Nm (627 lb ft) torque.

Something strange is up with that. I'll explain using the transmission.

This Porsche Panamera Turbo S has an 8-speed PDK.

That 8-speed PDK can stand a maximum of 850 Nm (627 lb ft) positive torque

and 400 Nm (295 lb ft) negative torque.

It can't have more. The 400 Nm (295 lb ft) from the electric motor is available instantly.

The torque from the engine kicks in early, but there's a difference of 500 rpm.

Add it all up and you get more than 850 Nm (627 lb ft) torque.

Starting at 2,000 rpm, when the engine gives its optimum torque.

It's limited somewhere because the transmission can't handle it.

This engine is more powerful than it is in this car.

For the performance this means it does 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds.

This wagon weighs 2,300 kg (5,071 lb). That's really quick.

The top speed is 310 kph (193 mph).

Unfortunately we can't verify this here in Spain, but it launches itself to the 250 kph (155 mph).

That's not strange considering that this car does 100-200 kph (62-124 mph) in 8.5 seconds.

We have a Turbo S E-Hybrid that isn't well-optioned for a Turbo S E-Hybrid.

A lot of things are standard. It has the normal chrome E-Hybrid logo on the sides.

Someone may think it's the standard hybrid Panamera Sport Turismo.

Most important for the Sport Turismo, which we haven't seen on Autoblog before, is the rear.

First, the normal Panamera hatchback doesn't have this roof spoiler.

Just like with the Cayenne, its base position has an angle of -7˚.

When you're doing over 170 kph (106 mph), it pops up to +1˚.

In Sport or Sport Plus it already pops up when doing over 90 kph (56 mph).

It can pop up even further when you have a panoramic roof. This car hasn't.

If you do have one, it pops up even further, just like the Cayenne does.

It decreases the air vortices in the interior, making it quieter there. The angle will be steep.

The most important thing is...

The trunk of the Sport Turismo.

It's 520 liters and the threshold is 11 cm lower than in the hatchback.

628 mm from the floor, depending on the selected drive mode.

The suspension is higher in Comfort mode. I think they measured the lowest possible.

You can put a lot of junk in here and there's more head room on the rear seats.

This is very okay. Plenty of head room to wear a cap.

I'm not touching the roof.

I can still move freely when it's on my head instead of over my head. The head room in the back is...

Also important: I think it's prettier than the hatchback.

The new Panamera hatchback looks better than the previous generation Panamera, but this is the best.

We're going for a drive now.

We'll be doing that fully electric.

You can drive this car fully electric up to 140 kph (87 mph).

Its range is 49 km (30 miles).

49 km (30 miles) Martijn. That's only a short distance.

It does 0-100 kph (62 mph) in 7 seconds like this.

The Porsche Panamera Turbo S is a nice car to put on the miles.

It's more practical too. You can sit comfortably in the back.

So yeah, I can't think of any reason not to do it.

Except... There's one thing. Money. It's expensive.

and today I wanted to share with you my experience with new bass cab from Darkglass Electronics

It is bass cab 4x10 with special speakers to enhance distortion excited harmonics

I personally use MESA Powerhouse 4x12 which is also great for distorted sound.

After this test I've decided to stick with MESA, because we are downtuned

and these 12 inch speakers gives me more bottom which we need.

Bass cabs are recorded on 2 microphones, I didn't use any EQ

I have to say that I like Darkglass cab in the mix

however for live performance I prefer MESA

But this time we thought of going around the city of Chiang Mai

And to show you around

The forecast said rain for today so we decided on going to this shopping mall called Maya

Well, it doesn't seem to be raining, but anyway

But here we are

There's a huge food court at the basement level here

Many Japanese companies here, like Mister Donut

That's cool

And smoothies, basic stuff

Let's go and see the shopping mall and we shall see where this afternoon and evening takes us

The best restaurant in the world

We decided to see a movie tonight

There's a nice looking movie theater here

We're going to see Justice League

There are different seat options there

There's deluxe, premium and first class

And sofa

We decided on sofa

It was the most expensive one at the Dolby Digital Atmos theater

But there's also this first class theater

Which is even more expensive

And all of the seats there are recliners

We definitely need to check that out one day

The sofa for two people at the Atmos theater is 500 baht

Which is around 13 euros, that is for two people

So not bad

You can also come outside to the terrace here at the floor where the movie theater is located

You can watch the sunset and the planes flying by here

The movie was quite entertaining, it was okay

But the movie experience as a whole was very nice

The sofa was super comfortable

You could recline the sofa as well by leaning back

So nice

Which was interesting was that between the trailers and the movie there was a song

It said both in Thai and English that everyone should stand up and pay respect to the King's anthem

And everyone stood up in the theater

I don't know if it's an everyday thing in the movies here, it propably is

Next time we come to see a movie we'll see if they have it again

There's an area here called Nimman close by this Maya shopping mall

We're going there next, it's very close

It should be a very cute and atmospheric area

We're going to have dinner there, let's try and find a nice place

We decided on a place called "Guu Fusion Roti & Tea" for our dinner

We decided on this one because this place is full of locals

Why not, it seems very nice

They have a huge selection of roti

Roti is kind of a bread and they have different fillings

They have a few vegetarian options, not too many though

But the selection of savory and sweet roti is huge with all the different fillings

So let's have a taste

Oh, this is the shredded chicken

Oh right, that's what the menu said

But I didn't think it would be this kind of chicken flour

How is it?

Pretty ok

Cheese and mushroom roti

Much better than the previous one

And then cheese and garlic roti

This is the best one

Spicy pork toasts

At a street food stall

I wasn't satisfied with my shredded chicken, sausage and cheese roti

So I had to try something else

But the other rotis were good

This is amazing

So freakin' delicious

The Nimman district has kind of a hipster feeling to it

It's a very nice area

Several food trucks

Cute restaurants and a nice atmosphere

We'll definitely visit Nimman again

Antti just told me that this is the best street food he'd had in a long time

Sunday Night Market in the heart of old town Chiang Mai

This is the Sunday Night Market

Every Sunday night they have this market here until late at night

And here in Thailand you really need to try one of these foot massages

80 baht for 30 minutes

Which is roughly two euros per person

Pretty nice

And it doesn't matter if you're wearing stockings, we just found out

Yeah, because I'm wearing stockings

But Antti is not

I can't do this now since it tickles when he's massaging my sole

I got this boss guy who has a lot of strenght

So it's a proper massage

It was a very nice massage

A real proper massage

My neck and shoulders feel so much better now compared to the temple massage before

Antti is speaking about a temple massage because we went to get a massage at a temple yesterday

It seems like it's a bit of a gamble here of what kind of a massagist you'll get

Because at the temple I had an awesome massagist and Antti got a trainee

And this time Antti got this boss guy and I first got a very weak lady

But they then changed her to someone who was stronger

In the end it was quite an ok massage

The face massage was quite a weird one though

I'm not sure how my face looks like at the moment

We changed the massage from 30 minutes to an hour

So we also got a neck and shoulders massage

An hour was 150 baht

So what is that?

Four euros

Not bad

The market is closing now

Most of the stalls are closed or closing now around 11 pm and moving away

So, we're leaving as well

That was our afternoon and evening like here in Chiang Mai

There's a lot to do here and it's cheap as well

Which is very nice

On November 27, a Chinese news outlet reported that f(x)s Victoria was hospitalized in Thailand due to health problems and received surgery after returning to China.

The reports state that Victoria had to return to Beijing on November 26 after experiencing health issues while filming a drama in Bangkok. After her health worsened quickly, she had to receive surgery and thus returned to China.

The specific health issue was not named. Following her surgery, Victoria posted on her Weibo account to reassure fans. She wrote, Im okay. Ill be running in two days. It has gotten cold so take care of yourselves..

A Buttercream Christmas Cake with Buttercream Pinecones and Candles - Duration: 10:41.

I'm Lorelie and welcome to Wedding Cakes For You cake tutorials. In this video

I'll be showing you how to create this beautiful buttercream Christmas cake

design. It includes pine needles with little red berries, candles with dripping

wax and flames and pinecones. Now for the berries you're going to need a small

parchment bag filled with red frosting. To make your berries look more real you

can coat the inside of the bag with red colored piping gel. For the candles use

another bag with red frosting, coat it with red piping gel and use a number 12

Wilton tip. For the pine needles you'll need a bag filled with moss-green, coated

with green gel and a number 233 tip. For the pinecones fill your bag with brown

and optional yellow striping to add highlights. Use a number 103 tip. For the

borders fill another bag with white buttercream and use a number 18 tip.

You'll need straws to pipe pinecones on and candy sticks to pipe the candles, a

six inch or larger cake. I'm using a 6 inch. Start by piping shells for the top

border. I did a simple shell border with my number 18 tip. And now here I'm

marking my cake to visualize where to put the various elements.

Starting with the green pine needles you're gonna squeeze and pull up

slightly and then release. The gel gives the needles extra shine and help it to

flow easily through the holes. but this is optional. Continue making the pine

boughs until you're happy with the basic shape.

For the pinecones pipe a tight ribbon of frosting around the tip of the straw

just like you would do for a rose. Pipe a row of scales around that. The scales

should be vertical and side by side not overlapping like a rose. Drop down and

pipe another row of scales. Continue this process until you're happy with the way

your pinecone looks.

Each row should flare just a little bit more than the one before it.

Once you're satisfied cut the straw to a point and grasp it gently but firmly

with your scissors. Push the pointed end into the cake at an angle so the

pinecone will look as though it is resting on the cake. Fill in around the

pinecones with greens. Now cut the candy sticks to a length that you feel looks right for

your cake. Push the first one in at an angle, just enough so you can fit your

piping bag and your tip down over the stick. Put the round tip over and all the

way down to the base of the stick. Now squeeze as you pull the bag to the top

and then release. Repeat that process for the second candle.

For the flames I used a leaf tip with yellow frosting.

I forgot to mention that in the beginning.

Now add your second and third pine cone.

Clip the end of the paper bag with a red icing in it to make a small opening, a

really really tiny opening. Pipe little round berries between and within the

greens, now add some candle wax drips to make your candles look more real.

Try this fun and easy border by starting with a zigzag pattern with your number

18, and then pipe over the zig zag with a shell border.

For the final touch add a dusting of powdered sugar to make snow. If you liked

will learn 11 idioms that use the word walk. There are many more than that so I

will have to make a part 2 of this lesson to teach you more another time

and yes I realize that almost every time I've done a lesson with idioms its

been 11. I don't know why it's worked out that way but it's always 11.

I didn't plan it that way. Alright number one a 'walk in the park'.

If something is a walk in the park it means is very easy or fun to do. Making

these lessons about idioms is a walk in the park.

Number two 'cakewalk' this is also something that is easy to do, if you

remember a while back I did an idioms video about idioms about food and I

talked about something being a piece of cake and that is also something easy.

Number three 'all walks of life' this means people with all different types of

backgrounds rich, poor, different racial groups, religions, everything all

different walks of life. A sample sentence is: When you work in a grocery

store you see people from all walks of life

Number four: 'walk down the aisle'. This means to get married as in 'I don't think

she'll ever walk down the aisle again', in other words you don't think she'll get

married again. Number five is to take a 'walk down memory lane'. This means you

think about things that have happened in the past usually good things is in:

'Looking at all those old pictures was like taking the walk down memory lane.'

Number six: 'walk a thin line' this means to do or say something in a very careful

way so that you don't cause a problem by being too extreme in either of two

opposite ways. A sample sentence: 'Parents have to

walk a thin line between letting their children explore the world yet keep them

safe. Number seven is to 'walk a mile in someone's shoes'. This means to try to

understand what another person's life is like especially if it is very different

from yours. Sample sentence is: 'If he really wants to know what their life is

like as immigrants he should really try walking a mile in their shoes'. Number

eight: to 'walk all over someone'. This means to treat someone in a bad way or

take advantage of. A sample sentence is: 'I was really shy when I was younger and

people walked all over me because of that'. Number nine, 'walk into the lion's den'.

This means to go into a dangerous or bad situation on purpose. A sample sentence

is: 'Going into the meeting with all of the angry shareholders was like walking

into the lion's den. Number 10 is 'walk off the job', which means to suddenly leave or

quit or job or for union workers to go on strike. A sample sentence is

'Factory workers walked off the job last week'. Number eleven is 'walk on sunshine'

This means to feel really happy also. There was a song a long time ago by a

group called 'Katrina and the Waves' called 'Walking on Sunshine'. If you do a search

on YouTube I'm pretty sure you can find that and you can hear that song. So a

sample sentence of that is: 'If I ever met him I would be walking on sunshine'. Now

there's no quiz again this time but I do have some homework for you again. I want

you to use my LLRS method with this lesson to help you with listening and

speaking skills and if you don't remember what that is that means

to listen while looking at subtitles or sentences written out and then to listen

again without looking at the text and then to repeat

what you just heard and then S is to shadow or try to say the words as

you're listening to a recording. And then repeat all four of those steps

as many times as necessary until you feel like you know the the passage or

the sentences is that you're trying to learn really well. So what you can do is

you can go through this lesson and find all the sample sentences yourself or you

can click a link I will give you at the end of this video to go to a page with a

list of all the sample sentences from the lesson and then you can download an

mp3 with a recording of all them so you can practice the LLRS method with them.

My name is Mehdi Djemame, I am the EPM Practice Manager at Polarys,

specialized in Business intelligence and EPM/CPM technologies.

We exist for 12 years, are located in Paris and have subsidiaries in Nantes, France and in Poland.

We are a Jedox partner for about 2 years now. In the beginning,

we were on competition for one specific customer and we discovered this technology

as an opportunity and decided to extend our offer with Jedox.

Polarys is specialized in legacy CPM technologies and Jedox was in evidence

for us because of the agility and also the buzz it was generating in France.

We have one main customer in the public sector in France, one in the fashion retail

which is a big international company and one other small customer,

a service and event agency specialized in medical events.

In terms of scope and projects it depends, it's both for CPM I mean planning, budgeting

features and also for classic BI and reporting.

One of the main advantages that we see in Jedox is the agility and our capability to develop quickly

within a very short time. And secondly the strong integration with

Microsoft Excel which is quite appreciated by the customer because it's

their comfort zone. It seems that they don't leave this comfort zone even if

they gain all the security capabilities of course, the reporting in web, mobile

and such stuff like that.

From a personal perspective, it's the Jedox Integrator,

the ETL part which is the most complete if compared to ETL parts provided by Jedox competitors.

From a customer perspective, it is definitely the strong integration of Microsoft Excel.

More and more clients are asking for and consider cloud integration and

that will be our main area for next year.

The second demand is everything related to data science

especially the old manner to manipulate, extract or download data,

it's quite "old stuff". The current software vendors need to move towards a predictive

and more scientific approach regarding data.

To develop the business and to gain more customers

in France and internationally because Polarys is of course looking after France.

And we hope to sign at least three new clients by the end of this quarter

Dating When Depressed or Hypomanic: Good Idea or Not? - Duration: 3:46.

Hey guys. It's Hannah. I hope everybody had a fantastic Thanksgiving.

I did. I ate tons of food. I hope you did as well.

I'm very thankful for all of you and I'm excited to do this video today.

I received an email recently from someone who was on the dating scene, kind of like me.

And they live with bipolar disorder; kind of like me.

And they've been asked out a couple of times

but, basically, they've been going through these ups and downs;

which I have been as well, going through rapid cycling.

If you don't know that, please subscribe to my YouTube channel.

And they were asking me like, "Is it right to go on these dates?"

"Should I wait till I'm in a better place with my mental health condition?"

And so he caused me to think about it and discuss it with you today.

I want your input.

So do a response video or comment below with your advice or your experience.

So, as someone that's been dating through these ups and downs,

it's really difficult.

And I think the main idea is dating is supposed to be fun.

And it's supposed to be where you can really reveal yourself.

And you don't have to be perfect but you do have to be somewhat balanced.

I can tell you that being that I've been hypomanic and really rapid cycling,

what it has caused for me and dating is to be very much more cold and distant.

And as I talked about in a previous video,

"Hyper-sexual," you know, I value more of the sexual idea over anything else.

Like that causes my emotional connection; which isn't necessarily right.

I'm distant. I'm there.

I mean, the way that I date is going by the emotions and the rapid cycling that I'm having.

And it's definitely turned a lot of guys off.

And they really have gotten the wrong idea about who I am as a person.

Which sucks!

I'm still dating though.

And for those of you who are wondering why,

because I'm not really being that out of control.

And the reason is, I think it's so important for us to challenge ourselves

when we live with bipolar disorder.

If I did everything I'm comfortable with,

then I wouldn't be where I am today.

So dating and being vulnerable, even in this place where I'm kind of up and down, is a challenge.

Even if I overcome it a little bit, it makes me stronger.

Now, if I'm extremely depressed, like on a scale from A to F, I'm like a D or an F, no.

Or if I am manic, well, no! Dating isn't even on the table.

But if I'm kind of in-between those challenges, it can really build me as a person.

Just give it a shot.

It's either gonna work or it isn't.

If you really, really don't feel well, keep in communication with that person.

And just hit them up when you're feeling a little bit better.

Just because you don't say "yes" the first time around,

doesn't mean you're ruined for the rest of your life.

So please, again, share your experience with me.

I'm actually going on a date this weekend.

So wish me luck. It's fun. It's fun.

And I want all of you with bipolar disorder, depression or anxiety, to have fun with it

and not overanalyze and beat yourself down.

Movie Sequels That Were Way Better Than The Original - Duration: 10:37.

Everyone knows sequels are never as good as the originals — except that every once in

awhile, they actually are.

In fact, some sequels turn out to be even better than the films that preceded them.

These sequels all surpassed the franchise installments they followed — and some are

now considered classics in their own right.

Spider-Man 2

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man was great, but it was hampered by two things.

First, it spent a lot of time telling Spider-Man's origin story before it got around to the main

action.

Second, they made some questionable choices regarding the villain.

Willem Dafoe was an excellent choice for Norman Osborn, but his Green Goblin outfit looked

pretty goofy, especially that Power Rangers-style goblin face.

Spider-Man 2 solved the villain problem by hiring the spectacular Alfred Molina to play

Doctor Octopus, a villain who doesn't wear a mask and also has a lot more pathos than

the Green Goblin ever did.

With the origin story already told and such a fantastic villain to work with, it's no

surprise that this is the best movie in Raimi's trilogy.

The Empire Strikes Back

Star Wars: A New Hope is an incredibly fun movie, and it's no wonder it was a world-changing

smash hit.

But the follow-up, The Empire Strikes Back, manages to retain that sense of fun while

introducing real drama, romance, and tragedy.

A New Hope ends with a big victory, but Empire is a reminder that wars are long, and even

after a major win you may find yourself on the run from a stronger opponent, wondering

if winning the battle could still cost you the war.

In addition to raising the narrative complexity, Empire also introduces important and interesting

new characters like Lando Calrissian, Yoda, the Emperor and Boba Fett, who doesn't really

do much other than look cool, but managed to earn a fan following anyway.

And yes, it has a downer ending, but that sets up the even bigger triumph of Return

of the Jedi.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Captain America: The First Avenger was one long origin story, taking Steve Rogers from

a skinny Brooklyn kid to a World War II super-soldier, then transplanting him directly to the 21st

century.

Its sequel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, took that time-displaced Cap and put him at

the center of a very modern story.

Like many of the character's best comics, Winter Soldier is all about how Steve Rogers

comes from a simpler time and struggles adjusting to the complexities of the future.

On top of all that, Winter Soldier makes great use of the Black Widow, introduces the Falcon,

and even features a fight with Batroc the Leaper, a long time Marvel villain.

Who, y'know, leaps and stuff.

The Dark Knight

Batman Begins has a lot going for it.

Christian Bale poured a lot of energy into his dual roles as Batman and Bruce Wayne.

The two villains brought some dark fun some dark fun to the movie, both representing a

nihilistic worldview that destroys the world through a misguided desire to purify it.

Then The Dark Knight came along and changed the whole game, thanks mostly to Heath Ledger's

Joker.

He gives what might be the best Joker performance of all time, and even though he's incredibly

violent and destructive, he's certainly never grim.

Despite the ugly makeup, Ledger is magnetic in every moment he's onscreen.

Such a worthy villain makes this hands-down the best Christopher Nolan Batman movie, and

one of the best Batman movies of all time.

The Godfather Part II

There are very few examples of a movie and its sequel both appearing on legitimate lists

of the greatest films of all time, but the first two Godfather installments frequently

do.

The Godfather was more than just a gangster film, bringing a level of craft and depth

that the genre had never even approached before.

The Godfather Part II takes that complexity further, telling a story of family across

two time periods simultaneously.

The Godfather Part II is the continuing story of Michael Corleone, the previously sheltered

son who has become as great a mafia leader as his father once was.

But it's also the story of his father in the past, played here by Robert De Niro, a Sicilian

immigrant in New York City who learns how things work in his new home, and how much

there is to be gained from a life of crime.

These halves mesh seamlessly into one whole, a rare achievement in cinema.

The Road Warrior

Mad Max is an interesting, low-budget film about a cop in a near-future dystopia who

seeks revenge after his family is murdered.

The Road Warrior takes that same character and builds a whole new world around him.

What was once a collapsing society is now a full-on post-apocalyptic world.

And while the first movie was about Max's life, The Road Warrior establishes him as

a wanderer who reluctantly gets involved in the lives of others.

Add in the now-iconic production design and costumes, and it's clear that The Road Warrior

is the film that gave George Miller's world staying power as a classic sci-fi franchise.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

In 2011, the Planet of the Apes franchise was rebooted with Rise of the Planet of the

Apes, a sci-fi drama that focuses on the very first intelligent ape, Caesar — played through

motion-capture by Andy Serkis — and his relationship with the human who raised him,

played by James Franco.

It sets the stage for the downfall of humanity and the rise of the apes, but it doesn't quite

get there.

By Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, set ten years later, things have progressed, to say

the least.

This is the story of humans who have lost control of the Earth, and their growing conflict

with the increasingly intelligent apes.

While Rise may have been the key to the way this saga began, Dawn is where it really gets

exciting.

Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan

Bringing Star Trek to the big screen was a great idea, but even the most diehard Trekkers

will admit that Star Trek: The Motion Picture was kind of a mess.

The costumes and production design weren't much to look at, the plot was lifted from

an episode of the TV show, and at a runtime of more than two hours, the whole thing seemed

to move at a glacial pace rather than warp speed.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan was where they figured out how to make a Star Trek movie

work, returning Ricardo Montalban to his role as the villainous Khan and introducing important

new characters.

Director Nicholas Meyer also brought the whole thing in at under two hours with plenty of

action and sci-fi awesomeness along the way.

Ask any Star Trek fan what their favorite movie in the franchise is and they'll usually

only have one answer:

"KHAN!"

Addams Family Values

1991's The Addams Family was a surprisingly successful adaptation of the classic TV show,

and 1993's Addams Family Values took that success to even greater heights.

First of all, the sequel takes Wednesday and Pugsley to summer camp, where their encounters

with more conventionally normal children provide some of the most memorable gags in either

movie.

Also, most of the first movie is occupied with a conceit that Uncle Fester is being

impersonated by a con artist, until he turns out to have been the real Uncle Fester all

along at the end.

In the sequel, we know he's Fester from the beginning, so Christopher Lloyd can fully

occupy the role in a way he didn't get to the first time around, and his relationship

with Joan Cusack's black widow, Debbie, is a particular highlight.

Plus, it brought us this immensely quotable exchange:

"You...are...Mister Debbie!"

"I am an Addams!"

"Fester!"

X-Men 2

Bryan Singer's first X-Men movie came out in a time when superhero movies weren't a

sure thing yet, and in retrospect it's hard not to notice that it hedges its bets, posing

as more of a Matrix-esque sci-fi film.

X-Men 2 is infused with far more confidence.

It makes the X-Men feel more like superheroes, even if they still wear black leather.

It expands the roles of Iceman and Pyro, introduces Nightcrawler, and brings the first movie's

major villains, Magneto and Mystique, into an uneasy alliance with the X-Men against

a much bigger threat.

All of this goes a long way toward building the kind of complex world and layered character

dynamics that made the comics such a big hit for so long.

It also just makes a lot more sense than the first film, foregoing the "deadly device at

the top of the Statue of Liberty" silliness for a more believable threat of mutant extermination

at the hands of bigotry.

Back to the Future 2

Back to the Future is a fun movie about a teen from the '80s visiting his teenaged parents

in the '50s.

But Back to the Future Part 2 actually tells a complex sci-fi story about the nature of

time travel that the first movie didn't even attempt.

"Roads?

Where we're going, we don't need roads."

In the second movie, Marty goes to the future, then returns to the present — only to find

that it's been altered because of their actions.

That means he has to go back to the past again to set things right.

That third segment features scenes from the original film from different angles, as Marty

does his best to make sure the plot of the first movie happens as it was meant to.

It's a wild ride.

"Talk about deja vu."

Terminator 2: Judgment Day

The seven years between 1984's The Terminator and 1991's Terminator 2: Judgment Day marked

a huge evolution in special effects, and an increased budget made utilizing those state-of-the-art

bells and whistles possible.

In The Terminator, the antagonist is a robot in human form who's come from the future to

kill Sarah Connor before she gives birth to a son.

In Judgment Day, that robot has been reprogrammed to protect Sarah and her son from a more dangerous

model of Terminator.

But the T-1000 isn't just a robot in human form, it's a shapeshifting killer made of

liquid metal that can take the form of anyone.

The development of CGI "morphing" technology made the T-1000 possible, and it was mind-blowing

at the time — and even holds up as pretty impressive today.

Add in an amazing, engaging plot, and this sequel outmatches its predecessor.

Blade II

The biggest reason Blade II is much better than the first Blade is simple: Guillermo

del Toro.

The Mexican director was still mostly unknown in the U.S. when he was hired to direct the

second film based on the Marvel Comics vampire hunter.

The story of the sequel is pretty similar to that of the first movie, but del Toro brings

a level of style that really makes Blade II something special.

The complex fight scenes, Blade's reluctant vampire allies, and the super-vampires known

as Reapers, are by far the best in any of the three Blade movies.

Evil Dead 2

Evil Dead is a ridiculous film by accident.

Thanks to a low budget and the off-kilter sensibilities of director Sam Raimi and star

Bruce Campbell, it turns out to be something much weirder than your average horror movie.

In Evil Dead 2, Raimi embraced that weirdness and made full use of Bruce Campbell's comedic

abilities to make a delightfully bizarre horror comedy that starts in the same cabin in rural

1980s America and ends in medieval Europe.

Everything that came after — Army of Darkness, Ash vs. Evil Dead, the darker Evil Dead remake

— all happened because of the slick, tongue-in-cheek self-awareness of Evil Dead 2 far more than

the low-budget original Evil Dead.

After all, Ash isn't really Ash until he replaces his severed hand with a chainsaw, and this

is the film where that happens.

"Groovy."

At the moment "Arborea" is expanding in order to operate on a worldwide scale,

being able to give a solution to a necessity in any part of globe.

This is our future and we are innovating by developing our own technology,

which we manufacture here, piece by piece, our drones, in the science park of the Universtiy of Salamanca;

we are working with the objective of getting lighter, faster,

more automatic systems and softwares which may decrease the processing hours

and putting the expert engineer´s eye on questions that silicon brains cannot answer, yet.

Victoria Reassures Fans After Reports Of Hospitalization And Surgery

On November 27, a Chinese news outlet reported that f(x)s Victoria was hospitalized in Thailand due to health problems and received surgery after returning to China.

The reports state that Victoria had to return to Beijing on November 26 after experiencing health issues while filming a drama in Bangkok. After her health worsened quickly, she had to receive surgery and thus returned to China.

The specific health issue was not named. Following her surgery, Victoria posted on her Weibo account to reassure fans. She wrote, Im okay. Ill be running in two days. It has gotten cold so take care of yourselves..

Meanwhile, Victoria is currently filming a drama with Chinese star Johnny Huang (also known as Huang Jingyu).
