Darrence Kindle was murdered November 03,
during an attempted robbery of Dollar General
on Kurth Drive in Lufkin,
and Crime Stoppers wants to pay a reward for the
anonymous tip that identifies his killer.
Darrence stopped at the store for cigarettes
but his purchase was interrupted by a masked man
with a handgun demanding money.
Four seconds after entering the store,
the masked-robber fired a single shot,
killing Darrence.
The killer didn't pause after committing murder.
Instead,
he turned his gun on the store clerk
but Darrence's transaction was still in progress
and the register wouldn't open.
It appears that the killer tried several times
to shoot the clerk but couldn't operate his gun.
The killer was described as a young, slender,
light-complected black male,
roughly 5'10" tall,
wearing a dark-colored hoodie,
light-colored shorts, red shoes,
and a green Halloween mask.
Someone has the information needed
to solve this crime
and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for the
anonymous tip that helps put the killer in jail.

CIA File: British Reporter Told 'Big News' Coming 25 Minutes Before JFK Assassination
A CIA file released Thursday about the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy includes a document that claims a British newspaper received an anonymous phone call 25 minutes before Kennedy was shot saying "some big news" was about to happen.
The British Security Service (MI-5) has reported that at 1805GMT on 22 November an anonymous telephone call was made in Cambridge, England, to the senior reporter of the Cambridge News, said the document, written by then-CIA Deputy Director James Angleton.
It added, The caller said only that the Cambridge News reporter should call the American Embassy in London for some big news and then hung up.
The important point is that the call was made, according to MI-5 calculations, about 25 minutes before the President was shot.
The document, dated Nov. 23, 1963, did not identify the reporter.
However, it did say the reporter "had never received a call of this kind before and MI-5 state that he is known to them as a sound and loyal person with no security record.
The call was reported to the Cambridge police after Kennedy was shot. The police then informed MI-5.
The CIA document noted that "similar anonymous phone calls of a strangely coincidental nature have been received by persons in the U.K. over the past year.".
It is thought the tip-off could have possibly come from a friend of Lee Harvey Oswald in Grimsby after claims the call was made by a British-born Soviet agent called Albert Osborne, The U.K. Telegraph reported Friday. The Cambridge News said Friday it did not know the name of the reporter who took the call nearly 54 years ago.
The newspaper said lawyer Michael Eddowes, a Kennedy assassination researcher, had uncovered the memo in 1981.
Eddowes had theorized the call was made because the Soviet Union was eager that the assassination should be seen as a conspiracy, as reported by USA Today.
Although President Donald Trump had initially said all documents still being withheld about Kennedys death would be released, he blocked the release of a few hundred documents.
Only 2,800 files were released Thursday.
"I have no choice," Trump said in a memo, citing "potentially irreversible harm" to national security if he were to allow all records to come out.
