this makeup look

was when I woke up one day

did my makeup, and

my boyfriend saw me

and said

you look so pretty

You're practically glowing

So,

I thought,

but wait, he doesn't usually compliment my makeup

So, I asked him

is it because of my makeup?

and he said

I think so

like, you're really pretty today

he doesn't usually notice, sometimes I ask him

do you think my makeup looks good today?

and he usually says something like this

oh....

it's ok... uhhh.. it's usually like this

uhh a little glittery and shiny

and your lips are ummm reddish

uhhhhhh

there's a little

black here

something like that

so I thought

this makeup look

guys can actually tell and appreciate

so I decided to document it

and the thing is,

this whole look

is super easy

for real

anyone can do it

hope you like it :)

this is me with no makeup

on my face, I have

toner

lotion and sunscreen

yep

and the first step is

this cc cream

(dab dab dab)

and then concealer

for concealer, I'll just use my fingers

to blend it out

conceal these dark circles

conceal this spot

use a finger to blend it out

setting powder

so that there are no little wrinkles

this is e.l.f.'s

setting powder specifically made for the under eye area

to set and brighten

and then

I will use

Too Faced Shadow Insurance

as my eyeshadow base

I think

this is similar to Urban Decay's

Primer Potion

and they are both great products

It's just that the Too Faced one

is slightly oilier in texture

Urban Decay's has a

more solid texture

It is more solid

but still

lotion-ish

just a little more solid

and then, blend blend blend

the whole eye

and then I take Innisfree's

this shade

it's very light

I think it's 01

It's very natural

and I naturally

contour this face

Guys like natural makeup

just a little bit's enough

For bronzer

it's the same

just a tiny bit

Physician's Formula

Butter Bronzer

Light Bronzer

the lightest shade

oooh it has a mirror

here

a bronzey color

It gives your face a healthy glow

and then for blush

I use Tarte's

Paaarty

I'll take a large brush

For highlight

it's THAT pigmented

even though I already scraped off the top layer

so I'll use a

and then drag it down

and then it's eyeshadow

the first shade being "smog"

by Urban Decay

looks like this

with this brush

super soft super soft brush

You don't have to worry

if it looks dark

because it can be blended out

it's super easy to blend out

Urban Decay's

eyeshadows are always easy to blend out

and the shade "smog"

you can find it in the Naked 1 Palette

I think the step of blending it out

is the most important

for me personally

the last step for the eyes is eyeliner

there's some purple in it

but it'll make your whole eye look

look pinkish

Finally

it's

curling my lashes

I should use the mirror for this

once on the right eye

once on the bottom lashes

use fingers to smooth out the bottom lashes

The last step is

lips

on that day,

I was looking pretty healthy

so, I didn't wear any lipstick

and he said I looked nice

but...

today

I didn't sleep that much, so I don't look as healthy

they don't like

dark colors, red colors

colors too bright

they think it doesn't look kissable

I like this brand a lot

I didn't choose a matte color either

Because matte colors

are more heavier
