Hello my name is Didi. I represent the Mervin Manufacturing in Austria. Amongst others brands like Lib 'Tech, Gnu and Roxy Snowboards.
I have the pleasure to present you a very special board. The Lib Tech Skunk Ape.
Why special? One thing first: That board is especially for people with big feet. For a shoe size of US 11 or bigger.
There's a special length that is 170 cm long and in the middle 28,5 cm wide. That means that it's also made for a US 12.5 or 13.
The shape is a C2, a hybrid as you can say. With a rocker between the bindings and a strong camber in the front and the back, but the rocker is dominating.
It's an All Mountain Freeride directional twin shape.
With a longer nose for perfect uplift in the backcountry.
And also perfect for the park. Slopes as well of course.
Especially because of Magne-Traction – that wavy edge – a patent from Mervin
I have more edge hold. A faster edge hold. More control. More smoothness.
Absolutely no disadvantage when you ride on rails.
And the care of the edges is pretty easy. Modern machines these days sharpen the Magne-Traction without any problems.
Or – do it yourself – there's a special tool with which you can sharpen the edges by yourself.
It's a Horsepower construction. Horsepower means that we integrated an additional basalt fiber.
Basalt is a volcanic stone – an organic material. Good for the environment – which fits to the most environmentally friendly snowboard company in the world.
Bio Bean Topsheet. Eco-friendly.
And partwise recycled sidewalls from the leftovers of the production of our boards.
Everything that is left over in our production gets recycled 100%!
A totally rad board. Easy for big guys or guys that are a little bit heavier or have big feet.

This extract focuses on the brand FASE FACTORY
exhibiting among other young creators
at FASHION HUB MARKET
during Milan Collection Spring Summer 2018.
Designer Flavia Grazioli characterizes the brand
with a keen taste for street/sportswear
and a special focus on textiles.
We pay a special attention to research fabrics
Our line is made exclusively from sportswear textiles
We might use brethable fabrics
as well as heat-welded ones
made of two or three different layers...
But what is behind FASE FACTORY story?
We went in search of its roots
And drove east for 1 hour and a half from Milan center
We then arrived in the town of Martinengo
where the factory/atelier "La Rocca" is located.
The company was born in 1959
starting as a small windbreaker manufacturer.
Eventually it turned into
the sportswear-focused production company it is today
and passed on to the 3rd generation of Forlani family.
We provide our clients a complete overview of the entire production cycle.
They can monitor every step of the creating process
and see for themselves what the final result will be like.
"La Rocca" allows you to follow the whole process
keeping a close eye on each phase.
This is one of the manufacture's strongest point.
The cycle starts from 3D modeling
followed by prototype production
therefore skilled dressmakers and technicians craft the final garment.
"La Rocca" gained its popularity
taking a chance on small orders as well
and a positive approach towards experimental projects.
Fendi, Armani, Moncler Grenoble and Dior
among other luxury brands sportswear or sporty fashion
are currently manufactured by "La Rocca".
We match up different types of materials
to provide more functionality to textiles that
are broadly used in casual wear only in their natural state.
By pairing these textiles -such as cotton or wool for winter wear -
with polyurethane or other films
we are able to add to the plain fabrics a plus feature
for example making them waterproof and windscreen.
The name "FASE" stays for the English word "phase"
or "steps in a process".
The name aims to make us aware of the narrative of the fashion production system
and to remind us of the value of each individual story behind a single garment.
Following this philosophy, the know-how of "La Rocca" is combined
with the young and essential aesthetics of FASE designer.
This collaboration is at the core of FASE FACTORY.
