have agreed that they will not allow North Korea's nuclear proliferation under any circumstances.

including his soon-to-be counterpart,...

General Michael Flynn.

As well as exchanging ideas regarding the proper way to maintain peace on the Korean

Charleston Church Shooter Sentenced - Duration: 6:09.

DYLANN ROOF, THE CHARLESTON SHOOTER, HAS BEEN SENTENCED

TO THE DEATH PENALTY.

THIS WAS AFTER THE JURY DELIBERATED, AND DECIDED THAT

BECAUSE OF HIS LACK OF REMORSE AND HIS OWN ADMISSIONS, IT

ONLY MAKES SENSE FOR HIM TO RECEIVE THE DEATH PENALTY.

THE 10 WOMEN AND TWO MEN RECOMMENDED THE DEATH

PENALTY FOR ALL 18 COUNTS THAT CARRIED AS A POSSIBLE SENTENCE.

ALSO, TO GIVE YOU A SENSE OF HIS TESTIMONY ñ AND HE OPTED TO

PRESENT HIMSELF DURING THE SENTENCING PORTION OF THE TRIAL

ñ HE HAD SAID THE FOLLOWING, "IN MY CONFESSION TO THE FBI I TOLD

THEM THAT I HAD TO DO IT, AND OBVIOUS HE IS NOT REALLY TRUE.

I DIDN'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING.

BUT WHAT I MEANT WHEN I SAID THAT WAS, I FELT LIKE I HAD

TO DO IT, AND I STILL FEEL LIKE I HAD TO DO IT."

HE HAS PROVEN TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT HE DOES NOT

REGRET WHAT HE HAS DONE.

HE KEPT A JOURNAL, PROSECUTORS CONFISCATED THAT AND READ

PORTIONS OF THAT JOURNAL TO THE JURY, AND IT WAS JUST

DISGUSTING.

HE DIDN'T REGRET WHAT HE DID.

HE EVEN REFERRED TO THE VICTIMS AS INNOCENT, BUT STILL FELT

LIKE HE NEEDED TO DO IT BECAUSE BLACK PEOPLE WERE, QUOTE

KILLING WHITE PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY.

AFTER DECIDING TO REPRESENT HIMSELF AND GETTING THE DEATH

PENALTY HE SAID,

OOPS.

OKAY, SO YOU GUYS HAVE MADE A LIBERAL OUT OF ME.

NUMBER ONE, NO ONE HAS EVER BEEN MORE GUILTY.

JURY CONVICTED HIM, NO PROBLEMS, IN CHARLESTON, SOUTH

CAROLINA, WHERE THERE HAVE BEEN PROBLEMS WITH CONVICTING

MURDERERS BEFORE.

HE SAYS HE DID IT, SAYS HE DOES NOT HAVE A MORSE AND HE WOULD DO

IT AGAIN, WELL, IT JUST DOESN'T GET ANY CLEARER THAN THAT.

HE MURDERED NINE PEOPLE.

IT WAS PREMEDITATED.

PREMEDITATED, WALKED IN, IT'S NOT AN OLD CONFESSION, HE'S

ASSAYING IT RIGHT NOW, AND IT WAS DONE FOR POLITICAL AND

RACIAL REASONS.

BUT THAT'S NOT EVEN RELEVANT, YOU KILLED NINE PEOPLE IN A

PRE-MEDITATIVE WAY, THAT'S THE DEATH PENALTY, ESPECIALLY

IN SOUTH CAROLINA.

BUT THE REASON I SAY YOU GUYS MADE A LITTLE OUT OF ME, I USED

TO BE IN FAVOR OF THE DEATH PENALTY, I'M HUMAN, SO I HAVE A

STREAK OF VENGEANCE IN ME, AND YOU HEAR THE HEARTBREAKING

STORIES OF THOSE POOR PEOPLE KILLED IN THAT CHURCH, AND I

WANT A LITTLE BIT OF VENGEANCE.

BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY, BEN MANKIEWICZ HAS WON THE DAY.

I'VE HOSTED THE SHOW WITH HIM SINCE 2002, IT'S BEEN A LONG

TIME, 15 YEARS NOW, AND ONE OF THE ARGUMENTS HE USES AGAINST

THE DEATH PENALTY ñ THE ONE THAT IS THE MOST CLEAR ñ

IS, SOMETIMES WE EXECUTE THE WRONG PEOPLE.

WELL THEN WE'RE DONE WITH IT, RIGHT?

NOT IN THIS CASE, BUT 4%

OF THE TIME WE EXECUTE THE WRONG PERSON.

4%!

AND LUCKILY A LOT OF THEM HAVE BEEN EXONERATED OFF OF DEATH ROW

BEFORE WE EXECUTE THEM, THAT'S PROBABLY HOW WE KNOW THAT STAT.

BUT ONE OF THE THINGS BEN SAID IS, YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE EVEN

A SHRED OF SYMPATHY FOR THESE KILLERS, AND WHEN YOU ARE SET TO

EXECUTE THEM, THE NATURAL HUMAN REACTION, FOR SOME PEOPLE, IS

TO HAVE SOME IOTA OF SYMPATHY, EVEN FOR A MONSTER LIKE THIS.

AND IT'S A FAIR POINT.

I'M HAPPY TO HAVE HIM ROT IN JAIL FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

BUT THEN YOU LOOK AT HIM, AND YOU KNOW HE'S MENTAL.

I ACTUALLY DISAGREE WITH BEN.

MAYBE SOME PEOPLE MIGHT HAVE SOME SYMPATHY, I DON'T THINK

THAT'S A STRONG ARGUMENT THOUGH.

I HAVE NO 74 HIM.

I WOULD HAVE NO SIP OF THE WATCHING AND GET THAT INJECTION

AND DIE; HOWEVER, I TAKE IT SENDS THE WRONG MESSAGE TO

SOCIETY TO SAY, MURDER IS WRONG, WHEN WE SANCTIONED MURDER.

WHEN WE ARE IN FAVOR OF MURDERING PEOPLE AS PUNISHMENT.

I ALSO THINK THAT, IN TERMS OF A PUNISHMENT, A REAL

PUNISHMENT IS MAKING SOMEONE LIVE WITH THEIR CRIME FOR

THE REST OF THEIR LIVES, WITH A DASH BEHIND BARS, WITHOUT

THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE.

THAT'S MORE OF A PUNISHMENT TO ME THAN LETTING SOMEONE OFF

EASY BY GIVING THEM THE DEATH PENALTY.

I DESPERATELY WANTED HIM TO GET JUSTICE, AND HE DID, BUT ON THE

DAY THAT HE DIES I'M NOT GOING TO BE LIKE, YES!

THE GUY IS CLEARLY DERANGED.

I KNOW THAT MOST OF THE MASS SHOOTERS AREN'T ARRANGED.

THE GUY IN FORT LAUDERDALE IS THE RANGE.

AND WHATEVER THEIR POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS, OR WHATEVER

REASONS WERE, YOU'VE GOT TO BE DERANGED TO WALK INTO A

CHURCH AND KILLED NINE PEOPLE.

SO WHEN WE EXECUTE THAT RANGE GUY, THERE'S NOT A LOT OF

JOY IN THAT.

THAT'S PART OF THE POINT I'M MAKING.

THE OTHER POINT THAT YOU ARE MAKING IS ALSO FANTASTIC,

DON'T GET ME WRONG.

I THINK THAT WHEN HE SAYS, I KILL BLACK PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY

WERE KILLING WHITE PEOPLE, NOW THE STATE IS GOING TO KILL

HIM BECAUSE HE WAS KILLING BLACK PEOPLE, AND ROUND AND ROUND

WE GO.

EXACTLY, IT SENDS THE WRONG MESSAGE, AND THERE ARE A LOT OF

PEOPLE WHO ARE IN FAVOR OF THE DEATH PENALTY FOR EMOTIONAL

REASONS, THEY WANT VENGEANCE, AND THEY'LL USE ARGUMENTS LIKE,

IT'S ACTUALLY CHEAPER TO USE THE DEATH PENALTY THAN HOUSE THEM IN

PRISON FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE: THE NUMBERS DON'T

ACTUALLY BEAR THAT OUT.

IN TERMS OF SAVING TAXPAYER RESOURCES, IT'S ACTUALLY

BETTER TO KEEP THEM BEHIND BARS.

PUNISHMENT WISE, I THINK IT'S ACTUALLY BETTER TO KEEP

THEM BEHIND BARS WITHOUT POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE.

AND I THINK MORALLY SPEAKING, AND WE'LL TALK A LOT ABOUT

MORALS ON THE SHOW, I THINK IT MAKES MORAL SENSE TO NOT

GIVE HIM THE DEATH PENALTY.

THAT BEING SAID, SOUTH CAROLINA, BETTER EARLY AS WELL, THE

DEATH PENALTY IS ALLOWED.

THAT'S WHAT THEY HAVE SENTENCED HIM TO, AND WHAT WE STILL LEAVE

IN THIS COUNTRY, SO HE WILL BE FACING CAPITAL PUNISHMENT.

YES, AND THE GOOD NEWS OF COURSE IS, AT LEAST WE HAD JUSTICE.

ABSOLUTELY.

Choi Soon-sil and An Chong-bum appear for second hearing in criminal trial - Duration: 1:50.

We begin with the latest developments on the power abuse scandal...

The second hearing in the criminal trial of President Park Geun-hye's longtime confidante

Choi Soon-sil... and former presidential aide An Chong-bum is currently underway.

For the details, we connect with our Kim Hyesung, who is at the Seoul Central District Court.

Hyesung -- Choi refused to appear for the impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court

yesterday, but she has appeared for the hearing today?

That's right, Mark.

Both Choi Soon-sil and former secretary for policy coordination An Chong-bum appeared

at around ten a.m. for the second hearing in the criminal trial.

Now, just to make a distinction, this is a criminal court trial, which is different from

the impeachment trial that's going on at the Constitutional Court and the investigation

being carried out by the independent counsel.

So both Choi and An are appearing as suspects and will use the opportunity to defend themselves.

At the first hearing in the criminal trial last Thursday, the court examined only a quarter

of the over 27-thousand pages of evidence, and today prosecutors are releasing more documents.

Choi is currently facing charges of abuse of power and attempted fraud, while An has

been charged as an accomplice.

Both of them are accused of forcing Korean conglomerates to donate millions of dollars

to two foundations allegedly run by Choi.

Choi's lawyers have denied the charges against her and say her testimony should not be used

as evidence, because she was forced to make confessions under pressure during investigation.

The prosecution denies that her confessions were forced.

The court will hold a separate hearing for another person charged as an accomplice, former

presidential secretary Jeong Ho-seong, next Thursday.

Jeong has been accused of leaking classified information.

Back to you, Mark.

My childhood crush (Sid) - Duration: 2:48.

Hey paperboys, happy Wednesday! It's Sid and this week we talk about my childhood crush.

My first crush was a cartoon character....

And when I was young my mom would let me watch late night cartoon.

Like the Simpson, South Park and Daria

And my true first crush was the brother of Lane Jane in Daria AKA Trent Lane

That's him...

And I just don't know why but I really really liked him and thought that he was SO SO cool.

I was so in love with him that I was always drawing him and ran to show it to my mom.

And my mother was really into my crush, and she even printed out some picture of him and stick them in my bedroom

But like, it wasn't the time where internet fast (available) and the printer were not as amazing as today...

So yeah, she took time to cut the phone line to connect to the internet to print some picture of him with this bad printer (I love her)

And I was so freaking happy about it!

Maybe I Liked Trent because he was some sort of an inspiration for me.. I wanted to be like him maybe!

And he was SO cool. He didn't give a damn about people and their opinion and was playing guitar with a band...

I thought that was cool I guess!

And I was so happy that my mother was so on board with my crush ahah!

But I don't know how long I had a crush on him but... For a long time I guess.

But I kinda think that maybe it was a reflection of something I wanted to be...

But I don't want the soul patch tho. That's ugly.

And I don't know why but he was my first crush and he was cool in that time... And that I remember being crazy about him

That's it! Until next week paperboys!

Europe Day 3 : San Gimignano - Duration: 7:10.

Second day in Florence.

Today we do a quick tour in town again.

Then at 15:30 we have a reservation for a scooter to explore Tuscany's hill.

We will drive to San Gimignano.

A medieval city.

After Japanese spork, if you hesitate between a straw and a spoon.

Go for a stroon.

With stroon, you will be able to take a spoon of this granita ...

Or drink it.

So for today, risotto, del fruitti di mare.

And pizza.

In Florence, the is always sidewalk more popular then the other. It's the one in shadow.

It varies during the day.

It was a great idea to come out here.

On scooter.

We just came out of town and we already have this kind of views.

Basically Tuscany, for the last 38km.

It looks like that.

There is a lot of tiny car in Europe.

But it's the first time a see a truck this small.

Let's go in San Gimignano village.

This village is really amazing.

I feel like in another era, really.

It's super, super well preserved.

Well ok...

People are not really medieval and what they sell into market neither but...

Otherwise...

Wow.

I'm definitely in the most beautiful place I've seen in my life.

Tuscany is amazing, and when you add a medieval city like San Gimignano, it's extraordinary.

With that view behind me.

And the city is...

We really feel as if we live in an other era.

I think theses holes was to spy on enemies.

So tonight we eat in San Gimignano in the medieval city some bruschetta.

With el vino and orange juice.

Which is really good.

Sorry, I do not drink alcohol.

So we currently going out of San Gimignano.

An incredible medieval village.

And the greatest I've seen in Italy.

It absolutely a most to see.

If you ever come to Italy, come to San Gimignano.

The day will end soon.

It's probably past one o clock.

The road was much longer than expected to come back.

I was fun.

We returned on Scooter by night in the middle of nowhere.

It was... black.

It was fun.

And then we go to bed, cause we are dying.

Other People's Happiness - theJunieBird - Duration: 5:43.

I was gonna script a video and I was going

to talk about goals but... but that's just

didn't wind up happening and now it's Tuesday

night already, and I like, made this

commitment, and I made this commitment

out loud. To like, real people on the

internet... and so now I have to do this.

I mean I don't HAVE to do anything, but

today was really weird and it's

prompting me to think about something

that I came across yesterday in the

first #femtubechat of the year.

Somebody was talking about this idea

that other people's success does not

exclude you from being successful, like

cheer other people on, because their

success is not... does not mean that you

can't also be successful. And I really do

believe that, but there's there's this--

like there's a gap. There is a gap

between believing that something is true

and... knowing that something is--like

acting like something is true... because...

it's hard. It's hard to know that you can

be successful even when other people are

successful in ways that you were jealous

of. And I think that's... the place

where it gets the hardest, is when you

get jealous of the people who--whose

success you're looking at.

I try really hard to be happy for people,

and to be happy when people are doing

things that they love, and to be happy when

other people are successful in different

ways, but when it's something that I

wanted for myself then I get kind of

like, selfish. And... and in the inside my

brain I get jealous. Even if I don't say

necessarily... I I try not to say things

out loud, but... inside my brain I get

really mean, and that's not something

that I'm particularly proud of. You know

how hard you've worked and you know how

hard your friends have worked to get

success that you've gotten or to get

the success that they-- that your

friends have gotten, so it's easy to be

excited when you are successful, it's

easy to be happy for your friends when

they are successful.

It's harder to be happy for people you

don't know when they are successful or

for people you don't necessarily like

when they are successful.

Just because you're not happy for them,

just because your not wanting them to be

successful, not rooting for them, you're

not invested in them, that doesn't mean

that they're any less worthy of

succeeding or worthy of happiness. So I guess that's it.

This has been a very unscripted video

but if you have not seen anything on my

channel before, hi my name is Rachel and

I make videos like this sometimes and

about TV and media sometimes and

sometimes I sing. And that's just the way

it goes.

If you liked what you heard today then I

hope that you come and join the

conversation over in the comments or by

subscribing.

I always do love hearing from you guys,

so please feel free to leave a comment

down below or message me, direct message

me, @ mention me on Twitter, all that

good stuff, and I will see you guys next

week. Bye.

SCENES FROM CHRISTMAS 2016 🎄🎁🐕 - Duration: 2:37.

(music plays)

(music plays)

One of the things I've been up to is a

little bit of crafting-- holiday crafting.

Check out these super-cute cookies in a

jar that I made. I got to use the

mason jars which I had stockpiled in the

cabinet, that I don't even know where they

came from-- um, how I accumulated them.

These super-cute holiday lids that I

bought last summer for this intended

project, and then these are the printed

instructions on the remainder of the wet

ingredients and how you complete making

the dough.

(music plays)

Oh, look who looks so cute!

Alton, ready for Santa?

Huh?

Ready for your stocking?

He looks so thrilled.

Oh, whoa! Mr. Santa!

Mr. Santa

Yeah.

What's this?

Squeaky chicken!

(squeaks chicken) oooh yeah!

(music plays)

Okay pick what you want to play with.

He's like, I want to rip that Santa apart.
