This Animal Has Penises For Legs... WHY?! - Duration: 3:22.Scientists have discovered a new insect that has more legs, penises, and friends than me.
Great.
Hey creepy crawlers, Trace here for DNews!
In late 2016, a tiny new insect was found in a cave deep within Sequoia National Park.
This lil guy was a millipede, but not one scientists had seen before.
It came with 414 legs, no eyes, 200 poison glands which secreted an unknown substance,
and… maybe most creepily, four penises.
This multi-genitaled creature, named Illacme tobini is evolutionarily related to a known
millipede groupcalled Illacme plenipes, which actually has 750 legs -- more than any animal
on earth.
And yet our interest still lies with, tobini and his many peenees.
They're located at the ninth and tenth pair of legs, and actually serve a dual purpose
as legs.
Really working that old "third and fourth" leg joke.
These leg-penises are called "gonopods", and are present on other millipede species
as well, although none with more than two.
But they don't quite function in the same way our mammal penises do.
They scoop sperm from another part of the body, called the gonopore, and use the gonopod
to push it into the female millipede's cyphopods.
Penises for legs?
Being a diplopodologist is way cooler than I thought.
What is more interesting is that millipedes aren't the only ones carrying multi-tools.
The order of Squamata, which are scaled reptiles, and includes all snakes, lizards, ALSO have
multiple penises, although, again, not more than two each.
In some cases, each individual penis has two tips, but that's more like four tips total.
These two penises are called hemipenes, oh and fun fact, they're usually covered with
spikes and hooks so they attach securely to the female.
So, why do these animals have so much to give, whereas us humans, and most other penis-bearing
animals, have to live life with their one and only?
Well, a study published in the journal Nature, from 2014 has an interesting evolutionary
answer.
See, the Squamata order, and reptiles in general, are marked by their amphibious nature.
Hundreds of millions of years ago, their ancestors were ocean dwelling, and eventually they sprouted
legs, and crawled onto the shore, getting the best of both worlds.
But that's a pretty tricky move, things are different on land than they are underwater,
and one enormous difference is mating.
See, it may be simplistic to say but if you're mating in water, you're really just squirting
out as much as you can and hoping that the water carries it to the right place; and that
tends to work pretty well.
On land though, indiscriminate spraying doesn't work too well, everything sort of just falls
to the ground.
What this study in Nature found is that these double genitalia were based on the position
of an orifice known as the cloaca.
It's found with amphibians, reptiles, birds, and even some fish!
As an animal develops, the cloaca signals nearby cells and tells them to become a penis.
Since reptiles evolved separately, their cloaca is positioned differently for use underwater.
Simply put, penises on reptiles are based on their hind leg positions.
So, whether you have one or two or four penises… baby, you were born this way.
And this begs the question to me, why do we even have sex at all?
Why don't we just breed asexually?
Find out in this video.

The Confusing Borders of Lake Constance - Duration: 2:32.Behind me is Lake Constance.
It is a big lake, near the Alps, in the middle of Europe.
This bit of me is in Germany, and this bit of me,
on the other side of that sculpture, is in Switzerland.
...they took down the border fence and they replaced it with sculptures.
A few miles away behind me, over that horizon, is Austria.
And all three countries have a shoreline on Lake Constance.
And if you look at a map,
you will notice that something is missing:
the lines that denote where the international borders,
the lines that I'm standing on right now, stop at the lakeshore.
Lake Constance is a condominium,
which is a fancy way of saying that it belongs to more than one country.
But no-one is entirely sure who.
We are used to the idea that the Earth is divided up,
and different countries own different bits of it.
Which is kind of a strange idea when it's put like that,
but since most of the world agrees on it, we stick with it.
Laws, taxes, rights and responsibilities change at formal, defined lines.
Okay, there are international waters,
and Antarctica's a special case, and okay, there is that one bit of Africa
where two countries both don't want to claim it, but generally:
each bit of the world is owned by one particular nation.
And sure, sometimes borders get complicated because of treaty glitches or land disputes,
but this isn't one of those: it's just that no-one ever bothered
to actually put down in an international treaty where the borders are.
According to Austria, over there,
Lake Constance is a true condominium,
shared equally by all three countries all the way across.
If you're on the lake, you are simultaneously in Germany, and Austria, and Switzerland.
Switzerland is not happy with that:
according to them, the border runs straight down the middle of the lake.
And Germany is basically like, [shrug].
No-one really has a problem with this.
If there are any legal issues,
they're settled on a case-by-case basis.
So if you're wondering what happens if someone gives birth in the middle of the lake,
and what citizenship their kid would have,
or what would happen under salvage laws
if someone pulls up sunken treasure for the middle of the--
I mean, the answer is: [shrug].
We'll sort it out when we have to,
and in the meantime no-one's really going to mind.
The only people that this lack of defined border does affect are cartographers, map-makers:
there is no option on most digital maps for [shrug].
Computers and people don't know where to draw the line.

Ottoman Uniforms of World War 1 I THE GREAT WAR Special - Duration: 7:29.What the soldiers of the warring nations wore on their bodies varied widely, so we're
doing a series of specials on the uniforms of those nations, and today I'll be looking
at the Ottoman Empire.
I'm Indy Neidell; welcome to a Great War special episode on Ottoman Army uniforms during
the First World War.
One physically visible result of the Young Turk Revolution in the Empire in 1908 was
in the army uniforms, though reform did take a few years to go into effect.
Going back a century the Empire had tried several times to modernize the army's appearance
and organization with different foreign influences.
For example, in the 1850s at the time of the Crimean War there was a heavy French influence,
but by the end of the century the army pretty much modeled itself after German fashions.
In 1909 a basic khaki uniform replaced the old dark blue one, though officers still used
those for full-dress uniforms.
The red tarbush, the fez, which had a dark-blue tassel and had been used for a century, was
replaced by the kabalak, though fezes were occasionally still worn by troops off duty.
The 1916 Turkish army handbook reads, "The cap is a khaki kalpak with a distinctive top
or dome the same color as the coat collars.
Officers have gold ornamental bands on the crown.
But the rank and file were supplied in 1913 and 1914 with a new head-covering, the Bashlik,
a long strip of khaki cloth tied spirally on the head and forming a sort of soft helmet,
which can be easily mistaken for the British khaki helmet in a bad light.
It is, however, more pointed, and falls particularly in front and behind."
Some reports say that the Kabalak was personally designed by Enver Pasha, Minister of War,
but others refute that.
So from 1908 they had the kabalak, and then it was later replaced with the simpler Bashlik.
Troops of Arab origin usually wore their traditional kufiya head cloths.
Later in the war the Ottoman navy brought in a new headgear that was basically a normal
European naval cap, but without the peak in front as deference to Islamic tradition.
You could touch your head to the ground during prayers without taking it off.
Actually, post war when Ataturk came to power he insisted that men wore peaked caps as a
direct challenge to Islamic tradition and a lot of people were killed in the subsequent
riots.
Toward the end of the war, some soldiers were issued steel helmets, the first of those being
Ottoman shock troops that served in Palestine and the Caucasus.
We've seen in other armies how the quality of the uniforms can vary quite a bit, but
it varied more among the Ottoman soldiers than elsewhere.
Many officers, especially senior officers, had their clothing made in Germany.
Some of the enlisted men's stuff was made there too, but the bulk of it was made in
Turkey.
It was all right at first, but toward the end of the war the quality ranged from "okay"
to "appalling".
This also applied to things like boots and by the summer of 1917 even some officers didn't
have anything approaching decent boots.
A side note here, during the nasty November weather at Gallipoli in 1915, many soldiers
wore a strange amalgamation of clothing donated by the people of nearby Constantinople, including
high fashion underwear and fine gentlemen's walking shoes.
Branches of service were indicated by colored collars for officers and collar patches for
the other ranks.
You also saw these in the edging of the officers' kabalak; olive green for infantry, grass green
for machine gun companies, light grey for cavalry, dark blue for artillery, mid-blue
for engineers, sky blue for railway troops, and scarlet for the military police.
In 1915 the Ottoman Air Service became a separate branch from the engineers and their color
was changed to red.
Like most armies, rank was indicated by either pips and braiding on the shoulder boards or
stripes on the sleeves.
Auxiliary cavalry was made up of tribal auxiliaries, mostly recruited from among the Kurds.
The government was supposed to give them uniforms, but if you look at old pictures you can see
that even some of the officers still wore traditional Kurdish clothing.
The personal equipment was basically German in design and the weapons were mostly of German
manufacture.
Officers were armed with swords, which they generally did not carry in to battle, and
they bought their own pistols of European design.
The infantry rifle was the Turkish Mauser, either the Model 1893 or Model 1903.
Later on they'd get German M1888 rifles, called the Commission Rifle, and some German
Mauser M1898s, while the Austrians sent them some adapted Russian Mossin-Nagant M1891s.
Some of the reservists still had the obsolete black powder Turkish Mauser M1887s.
Bayonets were produced by German companies in Solingen and Suhl, and some infantry carried
fighting knives in their boots, a practice that went back to medieval times.
Cavalry were armed with a rifle or carbine, the carbines being the Turkish Mauser M1905.
They also carried a sword, a lance, or both, with the swords often being the M1909 made
by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen.
I gotta point out that the uniforms and arms supply could really vary on all of the different
fronts.
In 1914 the ordinary infantryman was well equipped and well-dressed, but the standards
deteriorated once the reserves began to be called up en masse so later in the war you
had situations like one unit of 8,000 men who were reported as only having 1,000 rifles.
They were also in general so short of entrenching tools that they captured them whenever possible,
and officers found that maps captured from the British were superior to the Baedeker
tourist guides on which they often had to rely.
I'm not making that up.
And that's the basic rundown.
You have to realize that the fronts on which Ottoman soldiers fought varied more widely
that most of the other nations, and the equipment is going to reflect all the local variations
that adjust for climate.
They fought in the deserts of the Middle East or Libya, the flood plains of Mesopotamia,
the frozen mountains of East Anatolia, the Galician heartland, the rocks of Gallipoli,
the bleak expanses of the Caucasus, pretty much every climate imaginable.
If you spend some time just googling old photos of the empire you can see the variations in
uniforms and equipment.
I have to say that I personally think the Ottomans had some of the cooler looking uniforms,
but you can form your own opinions.
In fact, I'm going to wrap it up now so you can spend the next few minutes looking
up Ottoman uniforms for yourselves to see it in a little more depth, and while you're
doing so, think of that unit of men with only 1,000 rifles- 7,000 of them going into battle
armed with... what?
I don't know.
Rocks?
Knives?
Just thousands more young men marching to their deaths against the modern forces of
modern war.

GENDER AND DIVERSITY / Acceptance of Differences - Duration: 2:04.We are brought up in a family and in society with a lot of ideas.
With a lot of understanding about being a woman, being a man.
To marry or not.
To have children or not.
And many, many other things…
But what is right, and what is wrong?
I don't know.
So how can we,
even though we have our prejudice,
have a conversation with another person who has another prejudice
that are not the same as mine?
It is to accept this difference,
and accept
that we are different and we come from a different context,
we come from different circumstances.
And when you change the context and circumstances
you will change the meaning.
Why don't we dare ourselves
to embrace those moments?
What happens when the context will be different?
What happens if those circumstances were different?
Your meaning
will be different.
So why not to think
that each relation
creates new meanings.
That each conversation
creates
another kind of relation, and another kind of identity.
So what kind of conversation would you like to have with someone?

Tracking Trump's National Security Conflicts of Interest - Duration: 17:13.Tracking Trumps National-Security Conflicts of Interest.
BY CAROLINE HOUCK.
A global business empire raises the question: will the next presidents foreign policy
serve Americas interests or his own?
From close neighbors in Latin America to European allies in the fight against the Islamic State,
Donald Trump has international entanglements like no previous commander in chief. Each
of the president-elects business endeavors, critics say, offers an opportunity for foreign
leaders and other actors to unduly influence U.S. policy through emoluments or potentially,
even extortion.
Keeping track of Trumps national-security conflicts-of-interest will be no simple matter,
observers say, unless and until he creates a truly blind trust for his assets. Though
some potentially profit-inflected decisions have already attracted critical scrutiny,
others have surfaced only in the international press, and still others may remain hidden
by the Trump Organizations opaque operating style.
What follows is as complete an accounting of Trumps overseas financial interests
as could be gleaned from open-source reporting, including the financial disclosure form he
filed as a presidential candidate. Released by the Federal Election Commission, the form
is light on details but provides broad estimates of Trumps assets, income, and debt for
the year ending May 2016.
Some of Trumps business interests listed here have positive cash flow, while others
are still in development or remain merely prospective. More on our methodology here.
Europe, the Middle East, Africa:
The U.S. has long maintained an intricate web of bilateral and regional Middle East
security partnerships in the interest of regional stability. Its most visible military engagement,
the coalition fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, is a complicated, multilateral effort
that could grow even more complex with Trumps financial interests.
Most notably, Americas NATO ally Turkey plays host to a pair of Trump Towers and contributes
troops to the coalition fight in Syria. Turkey lets the U.S. and others fly combat strike
and surveillance missions against ISIS from its Incirlik Air Base. But Turkey also has
long-simmering issues with some separatist Kurdish groups the U.S. has welcomed into
the fight for furnishing some of the coalitions most effective ground forces.
Turkeys President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has cracked down on Kurdish and opposition
groups, including journalists, angering European and American officials and publics, but his
military commanders, Pentagon officials privately say, at least remain committed to the fight
against ISIS, and Turkeys cooperation is needed.
Trumps rise has also rocked relations with European leaders, who are questioning Americas
commitment to defend its NATO allies and nervous over Trump publicly yearning for Russian President
Vladimir Putins friendship.
Here are Trumps business interests in the Middle East and Europe:
Turkey:
The Trump Towers Istanbul project is reportedly already being used as a bargaining chip to
sway the president-elects policy interactions with Turkey. It is not the first time his
business and policy have collided there: When Trump proposed banning Muslims from entering
the U.S., Erdogan called for Trumps name to be removed from the towers, threatening
the licensing fees that netted Trump $1 million to $5 million in the previous year. Trump
has recognized the conflict of interest.
Saudi Arabia:
Trumps interest in Saudi Arabia is still largely that an interest. Ivanka Trump
identified it as one of three Middle Eastern countries in which the Trump Organization
planned to open hotels. Trump touted his transactions with Saudis on the campaign trail and registered
eight companies tied to the country after he started his presidential campaign, all
seemingly linked to a potential hotel in Jeddah. But there has yet to be any other progress,
and he has reportedly dissolved half of those corporations.
UAE:
Trump International Golf Club Dubai is an 18-hole golf course near completion. Its opening
was originally scheduled for 2016 but is now expected in the first quarter of next year.
Trumps proposed Muslim ban appears to have been forgiven, and his partner just announced
a new series of villas overlooking the course. Trump World Golf Club, a second golf course
and club built in another luxury development with the same partner. Expect it to open in
2018. Two accompanying streams of royalties, each
worth $1 million to $5 million in the year ending May 2016, and 12 associated organizations
identified in the filing.
Qatar:
Trumps interest in Qatar is still largely speculative as well. Though it was one of
the three Middle Eastern countries in which the Trump Organization said it planned to
open hotels, and the disclosure reveals four associated companies, there hasnt been
any apparent progress. State-owned Qatar Airways has been a tenant
in Trump Tower Manhattan for years.
Ireland:
The Trump International Golf Links and Hotel Doonberg combo, which opened in 2002 and has
four associated entities registered in the Irish town. Trump earned more than $10 million
in golf-related revenue from Doonberg in the year ending May 2016, though he more recently
made headlines there over a now-defeated plan to build a seawall to protect the resort from
rising sea levels.
Scotland:
Trump International Golf Links Scotland and the MacLeod House and Lodge in Aberdeen is
the golf course whose view and value Trump said would be harmed by offshore wind farms
a fight settled by the United Kingdoms courts that he rekindled in a meeting with
British politician Nigel Farage. Another golf-and-resort combo, Trump Turnberry,
on Scotlands west coast. The original hotel and prestigious golf course date to the early
1900s; Trump bought the property in 2014 and spent two years renovating it. Was it worth
it? Thats still to be determined: Although the May financial disclosure reports more
than $18 million in golf-related revenue from Turnberry, local business filings showed an
overall operating loss of about $10 million in 2015. And Reuters questions whether his
golf investments are underwater. DT Connect Europe, located in Scotland and
owned by another of Trumps 11 Scottish businesses, owns a Sikorsky S-76B helicopter,
which he valued between $1 million and $5 million in the disclosure.
Georgia:
A suddenly revived plan for a Trump Tower in the resort-and-casino town of Batumi, announced
in 2012, quickly fell dormant when the countrys political situation changed. But Trump still
has two companies associated with Batumi and at the start of this month, the projects
planned builder said it could move forward as soon as January.
Azerbaijan:
A Trump Tower in Baku is languishing unfinished. Originally announced in 2014, the planned
development stalled and was removed from Trumps hotel portfolio website after the Azerbaijani
economy crashed. Trump nevertheless earned more than $320,000 in management fees for
the property in the year leading up to financial disclosure filing.
Others:
Germanys Deutsche Bank holds large amounts of Trumps debt. The Justice Department
is currently negotiating with the bank a settlement over alleged predatory lending.
TAG Aviation, an aircraft chartering, management, and maintenance company owned by the Trump
conglomeration, operates out of airports in Bahrain, France, Switzerland, the U.K., Spain,
Portugal, and Togo.
Asia:
In the face of a rising China, the U.S. is involved in what Defense Secretary Ash Carter
called a long campaign of firmness to keep the Asia-Pacific region secure and stable.
The U.S. has multiple allies in the region via bilateral treaties with Japan, South
Korea and the Philippines, plus a multilateral pact with those countries and several others
and stations military personnel in several places. But sustaining the Asia-Pacifics
60 years of relative stability and American leadership there requires effort as Chinas
global ambitions grow.
The latest flashpoint is the South China Sea, where the U.S.s efforts to push back against
aggressive Chinese encroachment are complicated by, among other things, Philippines president
Rodrigo Duterte, who has been increasingly hostile toward the U.S. and deferential toward
China.
The Trump Organization has interests in the Philippines and several other countries:
Philippines:
Trump Tower Manila is an unabashedly luxurious project set to open next year. Trumps partner
on the project, Jose E. B. Antonio, was named as a special envoy to the U.S. before the
election. Trump received up to $5 million in royalties from the project in the year
ending May 2016, funneled through one of his two Trump Marks Philippines corporations.
China:
Much of Trumps interests in China are speculative. Trump Organization officials have previously
said they have a team in Shanghai and are looking to establish hotels and in Shenzhen
and Beijing. Trumps disclosure notes nine companies associated with the country, but
so far he hasnt cracked the Chinese market. TAG Aviation, Trumps aircraft-services
company has a Hong Kong-based subsidiary that serves the Asian market.
India:
Trump Towers Pune is a pair of towers several hours from Mumbai. A pair of state and local
investigations into the building have yet to slow down rentals nor lower the price of
apartments that sell for 35 percent above their nearby peers.
Trump Tower Mumbai, Trumps second attempt to get into the Mumbai market, generated $1
million to $5 million in license fees, according to the disclosure.
In the New Delhi suburb of Gurgaon, a fledgling deal with Indian developer Ireo to build a
Trump tower had already netted between $100,000 and $1 million in royalties in the year ending
May 2016. And in Kolkata, another prospective Trump
tower in partnership with Unimark Group is reportedly in the design-review phase.
16 other related corporations and associations.
South Korea:
Trump World Seoul, the first development to which Trump licensed his brand.
Two associated companies, including a joint-venture with the partner who built the condo properties.
Indonesia:
A planned Trump International Hotel and Tower Bali, announced last year and slated for completion
in 2018 is a 100-hectare resort that would be Trumps first hotel in Asia.
A second deal is with the same partner from the Bali project to build Trump International
Hotel and Tower Lido in West Java, about 100 kilometers south of Jakarta. It would include
the resort as well as residences and a golf course.
Each deal netted Trump between $1 and $5 million in royalties, plus $83,333 in management fees
in the year ending May 2016. Between the two projects, Trump has 16 companies associated
with Indonesia.
The Americas:
Though the region is not without its security issues, Latin America and the Caribbean have
historically sat squarely within the U.S.s sphere of influence. The U.S. maintains a
multilateral military treaty with large swaths of Latin America and the Caribbean, and Canada
is a member of NATO.
But in recent years, China and Russia have started testing the waters, and may see Trumps
election as an opportunity to move in further.
Trumps financial interests that could complicate or undermine his dealings with the region
include:
Canada:
An under-construction Trump International Hotel and Tower Vancouver and four associated
organizations The failing Trump International Hotel and
Tower Toronto and eight associated corporations, partnerships and bank accounts. The Trump
Organization does not own the property, but manages the hotel and licensed the Trump name
to the now-defunct developer. Trump Education ULC and an account with the
Royal Bank of Canada.
Panama:
Trump Ocean Club International Hotel and Tower Panama and eight associated corporations.
One of those, Trump Marks Panama LLC, generated between $1 million and $5 million for Trump
from license fees in the year ending May 2016.
Brazil:
The Trump Rio de Janeiro Hotel, which opened uncompleted to host guests for the Summer
Olympics in 2016. A planned $2.1-billion development of Trump
Towers Rio, which was announced in 2012 but has yet to break ground. A recently filed
criminal investigation into the corporate office project likely foreshadows yet more
delays. Eight associated corporations and organizations
linked to Rio or Brazil more broadly.
Argentina:
The long-stalled Trump Tower Buenos Aires, which showed signs of life after a phone call
between Trump and Argentine president Mauricio Macri. Though both parties refuted a report
saying the two discussed the property, and the buildings permitting process isnt
finished, Trumps partner on the project announced three days after the phone call
that construction would start in 2017.
Uruguay:
Trump Tower Punta del Este, which delivered between $100,000 and $1 million in royalties
in the year ending May 2016, via one of the two associated corporations Trump maintains
in the country.
Caribbean Islands:
An investment in land in the Dominican Republic valued between $1 million and $5 million,
according to the disclosure. Residential rental property on St. Martin,
which generated between $100,000 and $1 million in rent payments over the preceding year.
Land and real estate investments on the tiny Grenadine island of Canouan, where Trump launched
a development of a golf course and accompanying villas in 2004. Though the casino he also
managed there has since gone bankrupt, the golf course has been rebranded and the villas
didnt work out, he still had four active corporations linked to the island at the time
of the filing. One of them netted $3 million in land sales possibly the last of his
involvement with the island? DJ Aerospace Bermuda Ltd, a perhaps-inactive
corporation that is wholly owned by the president-elect. At least until 2011, Trump had registered
a Boeing 727 on the island. He has since sold that plane.
Notes:
Foreign business interests were identified using the May financial disclosure, public
statements from Trump or his children, and other open-source data. The disclosure was
not reviewed by regulators; more Trump-related companies and investments may exist.
Each interest is listed in the region where it does or expects to do its primary business,
not where it may be registered or headquartered. As an example, DT Marks Worli LLC was incorporated
in Delaware in 2013 and is located in New York, according to the filing, but is licensing
the Trump name to a developer building a Trump Tower in the Worli neighborhood in Mumbai.
As such, its included here as an interest in India.
Finally, the financial disclosure lists more than 500 corporations and associations in
which Trump held positions, most often as a director or president of the group. A number
of these hint at the Trump Organizations ambitions to expand its international brand,
but werent linked to any assets or income. If no ongoing operations or public statements
from Trump or his organization could be found for these companies, they were not included
here. An LLC and a corporation, both sporting the name Trump Marks South Africa, are two
such examples.

Guia de Pintura - Blood Bowl: Reikland Reavers - Painting guide(ENG-Sub) - Duration: 34:42.Greetings Wargamers & Players, Welcome to Miniature War, I'm Meinkopt and in this painting guide we get to Blood Bowl and see how to give color easily to the Human Team with the scheme of the Reikand Reavers.
For this I'm using one of the miniatures from the line men. Practically al the miniatures are the same, so the only difference it's that some have extra fabric or the ball, we're only going to use one guide for the team.
How to paint the ball, the pass ruler or how to do the bases we shall see them in another tutorial.
We start with the armor of the player, for this we start giving the layer base with Caledor Sky.
We give as many strokes as we need it and cover it very well.
In this point, with the armor already painted, we pass to the wash with Drakenhoft Nightshade, to give some deep and to stand out the notches and tears that the armor has.
Now we start giving soft strokes again with Caledor Sky to stand out the base color and carefully not to cover all the nocks and the damage that are already profiled with the tint.
We not start to give some light and profile in the armor using Teclis Blue. I recomend to use a detailed brush, cause this have a small and fine point. Making it easier to paint and to avoid the already painted parts that doesn't need the paint.
For the final results I use Lothern Blue and not in all the borders, only in some of the corners.
For the protection and details of the helmet I shall use gold. For the Layer base I use Balthasar Bold, and then a wash with Agrax Earthshade.
For the lights we finish them with Gehenna Gold mixed with Auric Armor Gold. Adding for the final light some Ironbraker Armor to the mix.
Now we proceed to paint the clothes of the player. For this we start giving a layer base with Rakarth Flesh. When this is well done and covers all the clothes completely we give it a wash with Agrax Earthshade and leave it to dry.
Now we mix Kherni Brown and Rakarth Flesh. If we dont have Kherni Brown we can add a little of Agrax Earthshade to the Rakarth Flesh.
With this mix we give deep and profile to the clothes. We add more quantity of Rakarth Flesh so we can give more light to the garment, until we have the color that we like.
For the player's skin, we use a mix for the base between DarkFlesh and Cadian Flestone in the proportion that Dark Flesh be bigger, using a more dark tone for the skin.
With a fine point painbrush or a detailed one, we cover very well all the parts that have skin.
And when the layer it's dried, then we give it a wash with Reikland Fleshade.
Now we add little by little Cadian Fleshtone to the base mix. With this we add little by little the muscular volumen and the lights of the skin, until we get the tone that we like. For the final lights we can create them adding a little of Ushabti Bone to the mix.
Now it's turn for the blades and some other detailes that will get some gray metal.
The base will be a mix of Boltmetal Gun with Abaddon Black. The more dark it's the base, then the more off will be tha metal and this will make a more old effect in the wear.
When we applied the base, then we give it a wash to all this zones with Nul Oil.
Then we give them some scratches with Ironbraker Armor, following with another wash of Agrax Earthshade and finally with Ironbraker Armor again for the final lights.
For the straps we use a dark toasted brown tone. For this we use for the layer base Rinox Hide.
Then, to this base we add Mourfang Brown to give it a lift to the color to the light. The edges and final touches we give them with pure Mourfang Brown.
For the fabric of the kneepad and the footwear are going in a red tone. For this we give it a layer base with Mephistone Red.
Then, we give it a soft brush with khorne Red.
And carefully we stand out the edges and give it some light with Evil Sunz Scarlet.
For the details of the equipment and symbols we use the transfers that the game has, but the marks that are lines, we are going to paint the by hand.

For the last details. To give some deep and stand out each part of the miniature, I recomend to profile the unions with some of Agrax Earthshade, this will make them stand ou more and will look that there's some dirt in those zones.
For the scratches in the line marks, just paint with the original color of the armor and create more nooks and wear, the fastes way to profile is with some Abaddon Black and then with some little of Ironbraker Armor ver it but leaving a black ledge.
And well, with this simple steps you can have in no time you team ready to destroy your opponent. Hope that you liked this new painting guide, and I invite you to suscribe to keep up to date with our new stuff.
Thank you for watching us and till next time!
