hey how's it going welcome to today's
live stream to tomorrow today i'm going
to be showing you how to draw a skinny
Jasper from Steven universe
I good at this character resync him out
during that the latest Steven bomb at ok
so as you can see what I've got when I
started here with that doing a rough
sketch is it ahead i decided to do it
from like from the lower waist and then
work my way up starting to like half a
body this time
so what it says who has made the head
smaller that much less outline to get a
general idea about where the eyes nose
and mouth will be and work my way down
with doing it with the rest of the body
giving her more realistic form so just
because she's skinny does not mean she
does not have muscle so I'm giving her
some muscle here
so I work on a torso so I'm having her
so I'm having her outset and based on
her outfit she looks somewhat like
sporty type type of person that she
lasts 40 types so i'm assuming that this
after up here the top half could be
similar to that of like a sports bra if
you think about it and from the
wikipedia that they say that her pants
are somewhat similar to that of like
jackings or yoga pants so they're very
skin tight type of pants
having one hand on her hip might do the
same for the other one either hand or
maybe just have like a fist on the
muscular type of of characters their
shoulders are very defined somewhat
defined but not too defined trying to
show that she at least works out a
little at least a fair amount
bring this final closer
so having some showing up like roles in
the folds here in the back very chiseled
abs here thanks perhaps in sections here
at the outfit cut off so that we see her
shoulders and then some of her neck and
at the same place where we're going off
her neck
we are also can place the diamond
insignia on here and it seems their
their efforts are very similar to that
of like Holly blue we're like right
where that where the neck part is cut
off
they also leave section for the diamond
insignia to be placed just underneath it
and this section here sort of like an
indication of the thigh gap
i'm at sub at excuse me I Madison I've
added some abs here it seems on a very
skinny type of character there's always
like a small section here of like rick
is like you see just the bottom of like
where the rib cages because they're just
getting enough to have abs but like they
got muscle there around the stomach area
but they're the top half and up just the
bottom of the ribcage is slightly
showing up like when you flex
we check to see
get out the way to figure out and muscle
is it just you know just draw like first
just raw skin character you know flat
two straight lines and just remember
that there's a bit of flows like a bit
of something to a site like like two
sections like to arm from the shoulder
to elbow and an elbow to raced there's
like a there's a bit of muscle that's
connects to both of them
you know it helps move it up and down
that's right black and all that just
assume that there's like a small little
something here that helps move it there
sorry I guess I'm not doing a good
explanation of how muscles are supposed
to have muscles exactly work or flow
like when you try a character i guess
the best way to understand is to
actually look at referenced rhymes of
like at the actual human anatomy and the
muscles and stuff like that to get a
good understanding of like so I'm just
getting understanding i like the
character that you're going to draw and
how we would look like a realistic and
what with their body type be like but I
guess also you would also need this to
study various people you know types of
body types out there because not
everybody's the same but you can find
you know just at least reference images
of like at athletic people for instance
Google Google's got tons of images and
athletic professionals
ok now the work to move a little up
we're gonna work on the neck
I don't normally in most my drawing
attention to work on the head first and
then the body which is probably the best
way to do a certain you know most
drawings but I guess I'm just feeling a
little spontaneous today so the way of
skinny Jasper's hair is that it's very
free free flowing it's all over the
place she's got a very very baggy type
of a hairstyle but i guess it suits her
personality she's a very relaxed
character kind of smooth your hair is
almost like football or it could be
shaped after football with just various
time points in between
ok
and now we're going to work on the eyes
a couple eyelashes here
and the nose
couple eyebrows here let's take a look
ok adding some neck muscles here
alright this a section of her face
that's going to be covered because she's
part Jasper and Jasper's face was just a
little bit like the top half was a
little red so later when i'm talking
about figure out how lightly I'm going
to be doing this
ok
and with that we can get started on
inking hangout or drawing i start by
using the ethnic tip sharpie we find
different one
there we go
ok
whoops season made a slight mistake
maybe it's just one diamond here now 10
underneath
well I just keep as it is
ok so from here I switch over to my
senses sharks to do the finer details
like for instance the eyelashes
I was an intensive shot dude a finer
details
I
can you give me a sec need to start
erasing the little pencil lines here so
I can see what I haven't haven't checked
out yet
ok
ok
ok
alright i'll go over here do some some
mine are talking here
attorney here is not really necessary if
you end up wanting to draw a similar to
way that hot i tried to this character
it's more of like cams I just feel like
adding something else this drawing where
because that the outside of her clock
you know the outer this here's a lighter
blue this essentially is a dark blue her
pants are even darker blue or no it's
about the same dark blue as this dark
look is the light blue dark blue and
soon as even and right in the center
where the diamond is is is a very light
blue
now welcome the bottom as well make it
mistletoe and as possible
ok
ok
and now adding some cross-hatching here
ok
go back up here and add just one one
layer of Tony's here
now the way that I have these tones sort
of differ from the other from the other
tones that I've just laid up for is the
direction of lines that I'm having these
like the lines here i have them follow
where where the pattern was and then now
for that for these lines on a t-shirt
having them straight down but also sort
of curve around at the Jaspers body
okay as you know i'm going to do a bit
of hair hair tones for detail
ok with and with that good
we do a little bit of time here and
there please add tones to areas where I
think that there would be muscles or not
I'm sorry tones in areas where believe
shadows would be like some shadows
around the in between each and every
finger
ok
now Jasper has like certain sections of
her body they're actually red and orange
so this area that is red i'm going to be
toning it's a little thicker which is
what i'm gonna be doing for the upper
area for I but i gotta make it more tone
gonna make a difference somehow see how
it looks and then i do the same here
ok
ok
had a couple times here just under the
abs are in between the jab
some understeer the armpit as well
is it should add some sheer as well this
used to be her eyelids are also read
okay yeah right almost forgot
under the chin as well
around this neck muscle here
detail to the time in here okay and with
dad
well no more
ok with that we are good and wait one
more thing
ok so yes now we're good hey okay i hope
