[HOT REVIEW] 2017 Toyota 86 BEST REVIEW - Duration: 12:44.

we'd love to tell you that the

incremental upgrades bestowed upon

toyota's rear-wheel drive coupe as it

made its transition from science FRS to

toyota 86 have transformed into a

perfect sports car if only a few more

horsepower shorter rear-end gearing and

tiny arrow updates were enough to quell

all the complaints that enthusiasts have

leveled at the machine since the

platform first hit the road in 2012 this

review would have been so much more

satisfying to write sadly that's not the

case

don't get us wrong the 86 is still

extremely fun to toss around a twisty

road

the chassis is impressively balance the

steering is direct in the shifter is

sweet

sorry to impart upon you this well-worn

trope but the old adage that it's more

fun to drive a slow car faster than it

is to drive a fast car slow is in this

case completely accurate the 2017 toyota

86 is nothing if not entertaining

but it's not completely it hasn't been

transformed it is in the end the same as

it ever was

it will take about three minutes of your

time to watch the videos below in which

we cover pretty much everything that's

new for the 2017 toyota 86 toyota 86 is

equipped with manual transmission data

50 knee boots to 205 horsepower and 156

pound-feet of torque automatic model

soldier forth the carryover to God 0

liter four-cylinder that puts out 200

horsepower and 151 pounds to put

apparently more than half of scientists

for inspires chose the automatic that's

unfortunate as it drains of the deal of

the fun out of the 86 experience choose

the manual and you'll be rewarded with

an easy question to rewarding short

throw shifter and as we said five more

ponies courtesy of intake and exhaust

weeks and the polishing of some internal

engine components the only upside to the

automatic is improved fuel economy of 24

miles per gallon in the city and 32 on

the highway manual 86 is our epa-rated

at 2128 along with the small bump in

power the 2017-18 six gets a 4.32 one

round here ratio and will yield 4.12 one

unit that ought to translate into a

small improvement and acceleration that

really only matters on paper in the real

world on actual roads

the difference is negligible to eat the

most out of the 86 you have to

constantly work the shifter and keep the

engine north of five thousand

revolutions per minute

it's still not particularly quick but

it's definitely fun

there's plenty of noise inside the 86

from the wind the road in the engine

considering its purpose as a low-cost

sports car the 86 interior done isn't

the end of the world the 86 gets revised

spring rates and damping all-around into

thicker anti-roll bar at the rear

it's not a night-and-day difference from

the old suspension setup but the rear of

the car feels a bit more planted on

rough roads and widths keep steering

angle its low weight of 2758 pounds

keeps the 86 feeling nimble and light on

its 215 / 45 r17 michelin primacy tires

ok so the 2017 toyota 86 feels about the

same as the 2016 sign FRS stood from

behind the wheel

it doesn't look very different either

there's a mild base with a bunch of

Toyota and eighty six matches and signed

out and LED lighting elements front and

rear toyota engineers insisted the tiny

vortex generators at the top of

offenders have some beneficial effects

on aerodynamics but it's got to be

minimal

same with the little strikes on either

side of the front fashion which sort of

remind us of Nikki's test rossik and not

in a good way

toyota did away with the red stitching

inside the FRS choosing a silver in

shade instead for the 86 there's a

suede-like textile atop the door panels

in the passenger side of the dash that

looks and feels better than the plastic

of previous models the fabric also cuts

down on interior glare the steering

wheel is three millimeters smaller in

diameter than before but Toyota still

found room to add button for the audio

system as before that audio system is

controlled through a 7-inch touchscreen

LCD that suffers from irritating glaring

uneven lighting and washes out in direct

sunlight

toyota has no plans to offer apple

carplay or Android auto in the

eighty-six it's definitely worth noting

that every single one of the beneficial

updates we've covered in this review can

also be found inside the 2017 subaru brz

from the five pony increase signified on

both the toyota and subaru by a red and

take manifold to the rear differential

gearing the 86 remains a carbon copy of

the BRZ except that the BRZ gets an

optional performance package with

Grandma breaks and sack CF campers that

toyota's TRD accessories catalog can't

match as a cohesive package that

prioritizes driving enjoyment beyond all

else the 2017 toyota 86 shines it rides

and handles very well and it's starting

price of 20 7120 dollars sounds

reasonable but it's still under powered

especially when compared to something

like the ford mustang ecoboost which

costs about the same but offers a lot

more motive force and if you want the

best that you cheer okay has to offer

you might want to look at the BRZ and

it's available performance package for

less than thirty thousand dollars we

really do like the 2017 toyota 86 still

we can't help but feel that it's a

missed opportunity horse power isn't

everything but it's also not nothing if

the 2016 sign FRS was a turbocharger

My new show! • Wheeper - Duration: 6:02.

yo welcome to the information video

for my new show

shit

yeah

the show's name is "Designer's Best Of"

in this show, which is coming once in a month

probably at the end of each month or beginning of the next

and there i will

for each month

take the best designs

which can be anything

starting from intros

to banner, illustrations, animations

whatever

and so on

every type can be featured

then I will take all of them

and then put everything together in one showreel

with music and some editing

and there will be three people every month

which are getting placed

in first so third place

and they will

be presented seperatly

at the end of the video

the showreel is supposed to be a section

like a recap of the last month

I'll take submissions too

it doesn't have to be your own work

just send me designs you think they're good

of course I'll have to ask all the designer

but that'll work out somehow

that's why I'm positive that this is going to be pretty good

and if you're sending me stuff

(link for all submissions is in the description)

you have to watch that the design

was made in the month of the current Designer's Best Of

you can't send me designs that are like 5 months old

that would be pointless

but otherwise everything in that month is okay

I'll take submissions until the 25th of the month

maybe one or two days later

depending on when I'm editing the video

I'll try to upload the episode every end of the month or beginning of the next one

we'll see how it goes

that was everything important for my new show

oh yea I've made an intro

for this show

it'll be played

at the end of the pre-intro

and after this is coming the showreel

and at the end the three places

so, you can watch the intro now

and if you have any questions let me know in the comments

everything important is in the video description

as always

so let's see how the first month is going down

how many designs I get together and how it goes

we'll hear us in another video

see you

Trump effect: US President-elect's business partner to run for Indonesian presidency - Duration: 2:12.

Trump effect: US President-elect's business partner to run for Indonesian presidency

Inspired by his business partner and the United States President-elect Donald Trump's meteoric political rise,

an Indonesian businessman may run for the presidency of his country during next elections.

While speaking to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Hary Tanoesoedibjo

said that he is planning to get in the Indonesian president race in 2019.

Hary, 51, who is building two Trump Organization projects, said he is considering it for the sake of his country.

"If there is no one I can believe who can fix the problems of the country, I may try to run for president," the billionaire said.

"We need a leader with integrity who can bring a solution for the country," he added.

However, it is not a sudden shift of gear for Hary as he had prolonged political ambitions.

In 2014, he failed to win nomination as a vice-presidential candidate. Post the loss, he started his own party, United Indonesia.

One of the Trump projects he is working on is in Jakarta and the other is on the resort island of Bali. Both are in the early stages.

Does Cough Medicine Really Work? - Duration: 3:56.

What do you do when you have a really bad cough?

If you reach for the cough medicine, you're not alone.

Every year, people spend billions of dollars on this stuff.

But does it work?

Coughing is a natural reflex that clears your airways of anything that's not supposed

to be in there.

When some kind of irritant floats into your nose or mouth, receptors in the airways send

signals to your brain, sounding the alarm.

Then another message is sent back to your diaphragm…and you cough at speeds of up

to 50 mph.

Other mammals do this too.

[Cut to puppy coughing video].

Aww.

But, what do you do when that cough becomes more than just annoying?

If you were born in the 1800s, your old timey cough syrup might have consisted of morphine,

alcohol, cannabis, chloroform or even HEROIN.

Yikes!

Fortunately today's cough medicines contain a number of more reasonable active ingredients.

One or more of these are probably in your cough medicine.

Antitussives like dextromethorphan or DXM, are meant to block the cough reflex.

They can also make you drowsy.

Fine if you're headed to bed.

Less fine if you need to drive anywhere….or need to do anything else for that matter that

doesn't involve sleeping.

Deeply.

Expectorants like guaifenesin are designed to loosen and thin the mucus in your lungs,

making it easier to cough out the gunk in your airways.

Decongestants like ephedrine… uh… decongest you by narrowing the blood vessels of the

nose, which also relieves congestion.

Antihistamines like loratadine reduce swelling of the nose and throat and decrease the amount

of gooey mucus that your lungs secrete when you have allergies.

OK but does any of this stuff actually work?

We looked at a few systematic reviews that asked this question.

We at Reactions love us some systematic reviews, since they analyze evidence from lots of different

studies in one place.

Their results?

There is very little evidence that cough syrup is effective at treating coughs.

And carefully performed clinical trials show that these medications are generally no better

than a placebo.

In one review, of the 19 studies analyzed, 15 either showed no benefit, or the results

were conflicting.

Other reviews had similar findings.

They said that there is "no good evidence for or against the effectiveness of over-the-counter

medicines in acute cough."

So there is no guarantee that cough syrup will do anything for your cough.

Though it could help you get a better night's sleep.

Just don't try and fix things by taking a larger dose.

Seriously, do not do this.

Large doses of DXM can cause dizziness, uncontrollable eye movement, convulsions and even death….

It's especially dangerous for young children -- thousands of kids under 12 are sent to

the emergency room every year because of accidental overdoses on cough medicine.

Before you ask, apart from any placebo effect, treatments with echinacea, vitamin C or zinc

will probably not help your cough either.

Bummer.

But, there are some oldies but goodies that can help with your hacking cough.

Drink plenty of fluid.

That should help to thin out any extra mucus and reduce your cough reflex.

A humidifier or a steamy shower also helps reduce congestion.

Cough drops get the saliva flowing, which can soothe your irritated throat (though sucking

on regular old hard candy works just as well).

What about honey and lemon?

Though there's not a lot of research on its effectiveness in coughs, a small number

of studies suggest some potential benefit over…not doing anything.

And it has been reported to help relieve cough in kids by soothing the back of the throat.

And it tastes great!

Especially in hot tea.

Tea time!

The good news is that most coughs will go away after a week or two without any treatment.

But if that cough lasts more than a few weeks, see your doctor.

Do you have a cough remedy that you swear by?

Let us know in the comments.

And remember to hit that subscribe button!

If you need me, I'll be over here with a lozenge and a humidifier pointed at my face.

See you next time.

2015-2017 F-150 Gibson Dual Sport Aluminized Cat-Back Exhaust System (5.0L) Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 6:20.

Hey, everybody, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com, and this is my detailed review and install

of the Gibson Dual Sport Aluminized Steel Cat-Back, available for your 2015 and newer

five-liter powered Super Crew F-150.

In this review I'm gonna talk about what kind of sound you can expect when bolting up the

Gibson Dual Sport to your F-150, we're gonna break down the construction and the materials,

and then finally, I'll quickly walk you through the install itself.

And, if you have a Super Crew F-150 with a five-and-a-half foot bed, this is gonna be

a very easy bolt-on job, so one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, with some

more detail coming up later on.

So, the Dual Sport from Gibson that we have in this video is going to be one of the company's

most popular offerings for the truck aftermarket.

Gonna be for the truck owners out there looking to give their five-liter heater a little bit

more presence while on the road while keeping that price point beneath $500 bucks.

And with that said, I think this system will appeal to those truck owners who prefer that

old-school muscle-car tone, that deep low thumping tone, as opposed to some of the louder,

more higher-pitched systems as you guys heard with our sound clips.

And, speaking of those sound clips, let's dive head-first into the sound you can expect

when using the Gibson Dual Sport and I just said, this is gonna be for the owners out

there who don't want the loudest system on the block.

It's a deep tone, it's a thumping tone, but at the same time, it sounds really good.

In fact, it just embodies what a big V8 truck should sound like.

So, breaking out my "wake the neighbor's scale," I'm going strong two out of five here, guys.

Again, definitely not the loudest when it comes to overall volume, but the idle certainly

sounds a lot stronger, you're certainly picking up some volume when you're hammering on that

loud pedal, and you're getting a little bit more interior noise, but nothing crazy.

So with the sound covered, let's move into the quality and construction here with the

Gibson Dual Sport and for a sub-$500 system the overall build quality is really solid.

Now, the materials themselves could be a little better.

You are looking at aluminized steel here, after all.

It's definitely not stainless steel, so, therefore, don't look for the same longevity or corrosion

protection that you might get with those full stainless systems.

And, as such, Gibson does not offer the lifetime warranty here with the Dual Sport in aluminized

steel.

Talking about the design with the Dual Sport from Gibson guys, you're gonna find a three-inch

lead pipe coming into the Superflow SFT muffler, that kicks down to a two-and-a-half inch mandrel-bent

tubing before exiting out the dual four-inch tips, brightly polished embossed with that

Gibson logo.

Now, these guys, the tips themselves are actually constructed from 304-grade stainless steel

which is nice because ultimately, this is what you're gonna see the most, and these

guys are gonna look good for years to come.

Let's go back to that Superflow SFT muffler here real quick because I actually like what

Gibson does with this thing.

They don't use any internal packing which can sometimes burn out or blow out.

Those are two terms you might hear in the exhaust world.

And what those do or what that does, is basically change the tone of the system over time.

Not the case here with the Gibson and their Superflow muffler.

This thing's gonna sound the same from the day you bolt it up to your truck, to the day

you take it off or until the day you sell your truck.

And as promised, let's get into that install here, briefly.

Like I talked about earlier, one out of three wrenches for any Supercrew, five-and-a-half

foot bed owner out there guys.

This not gonna be a tough job as long as you have some basic socket sets or basic tools.

About an hour or two in the shop or garage is really all you need before you're making

some noise here with the Gibson.

Going back to that socket set, Gibson recommends you really only need that half-inch socket

wrench along with a nine-sixteenths inch socket wrench, and I personally like to use a little

WD-40 lubricating oil, something like that on those stubborn rubber exhaust hangers.

Now, you'll want to first remove that factory exhaust system by unbolting the clamps in

front of the factory muffler and get that guy out of the way.

Just fair warning, this thing is a little big, it's a little bulky, so if you have a

buddy around the shop, now'd be a great time to grab him.

Once that factory system is out of the way, get to work installing the new Gibson starting

from front to back with that three-inch lead pipe, hang the muffler, and then your two

tailpipes, and you're pretty much good to go.

But just save your final tighten up to the very end.

Once everything is in place, just make sure the system isn't rubbing against any brake

lines, suspension fluids, things like that and you should be good to go.

In my opinion, the Gibson Dual Sport that we have in this video checks all the right

boxes when it comes to sound for a big V8 truck.

Now, pair that with a quality construction, the sub-$500 price tag, and overall, you got

a great system for any 5-liter equipped F-150 out there.

So that is my review of the Gibson Dual Sport which you can grab right here at americanmuscle.com.

2015-2017 Mustang (V6, EcoBoost) Whiteline Lowering Springs Review & Install - Duration: 5:09.

Hey, guys.

Stephanie with americanmuscle.com here with these Whiteline Lowering Springs for 2015

and up S550, V6, and EcoBoost Mustangs.

We're gonna be talking about a few different things with these springs, but mostly we'll

talk about what you can expect from these springs in both the performance and looks

categories.

And we're also gonna talk about the install as well.

I'll talk more about the install later, but you're looking at a two out of three wrenches

on the difficulty meter.

The Whiteline Lowering Springs are gonna be a good option for those of you out there that

are looking for a lowering spring for a daily-driven car, or a street car that's gonna give a good

drop but that's designed to be used with the factory shocks and struts.

These springs were made to provide balance with both the OEM and aftermarket shock and

strut setups.

While lot of other springs out there function better with aftermarket setups, these springs

offer a drop of 1.3 inches in the front of the car, and 1.7 inches in the rear.

Now, this is what I consider more in the standard side in the world of lowering springs for

the S550.

Currently, you tend to see that the majority of springs offer a standard 1-inch drop, and

the largest drop that you'll find in the spring for an S550 is just over 1 inch.

These springs offer that in the front and even more than that in the rear.

Of course, a lowering spring is gonna lower the center of gravity to provide some handling

improvements like reducing squatting body rolling corners, and eliminating nosedive

under hard braking.

A 1.3 to 1.7-inch drop is enough of a drop to eliminate the gap between the tire in the

fender and it's gonna leave the car sitting just above the wheels and tires.

Now, keep in mind that the drop will look a little bit different depending on your wheel

and tire setup.

And these are gonna be compatible with both the factory and aftermarket wheel and tire

setups.

The plus side of the S550 is looking so good and responding so well to a little bit of

lowering, is it even create a functional low.

By that, I mean it's low enough to look good but not low enough to cause issues either

on the tire or under the car.

It's gonna leave you with a very streetable car still.

Getting back to the drop on an S550, the majority of springs out there are only offering a 1-inch

drop.

The S550 chassis doesn't need a huge drop to obtain better looks or an improvement in

handling.

The S550 responds well to what some of the older generation Mustangs would consider a

very small change in ride height.

You'd be surprised at how well the S550 chassis responds to just a 1-inch drop in both the

functional and looks categories, and these springs are even more aggressive.

You guys saw the before and after shots.

The other thing to consider when you're shopping for springs besides the drop, is ride quality.

These springs do have a performance design so they are made for street and race applications,

but they do it without compromising ride quality which means that they're a good option for

a street car.

They don't have a harsh ride quality but they are a firm spring.

When it comes to ride quality, sometimes you can get a rough ride quality when you start

lowering the car more.

But I wouldn't really say that that's the case at all with these springs.

The ride is more stiff and you do notice more road noise.

Other than that, you'll just notice the car having less body roll and be more planted

overall.

Overall, these springs are intended for street and occasional track use, so they do get a

stiffer than factory ride quality, but they're made to not be harsh.

So, they're still gonna be comfortable but also able to perform when you want them to.

They are progressive rate springs which means they'll be more forgiving on the street than,

say, a linear spring would be.

As far as price, these springs are gonna cost between $200 and $300, which is right where

the majority of other springs are falling as well.

Of course, there are some springs that are either less expensive or more expensive than

that, and of course, springs that are all across that price range.

So, the install here is gonna take about four hours.

I'm gonna call it a solid two out of three wrenches on the scale because you will need

some knowledge to complete the install.

So, I'd recommend having a knowledge of a helping hand or taking this to a shop for

the install if you haven't done this before, especially since there's always a good idea

to get alignment after the install anyways.

This install can be done on jack stands if you don't have access to a lift, and as usual

a lift would be your best bet.

You're gonna need a few tools including a spring compressor, so make sure you have that

before you start the install.

You're gonna make sure you get down to the spring and struts assembly so everything like

the wheels, breaks, and ABS lines will need to be moved out of the way, so you can pull

the assemblies out of the car.

The spring compressor will help you remove the spring from the strut and install the

new front springs which are compressed and installed the same way.

The strut assemblies go back the same way they came out, and the install is the same

for both sides.

The rear is where things are a little bit different, but nothing crazy here.

Essentially the IRS subframe will be dropped along with the rear shock mount, so you can

slide the rear springs out.

Just like the front, the rear springs are installed the same way they were uninstalled.

There's no surprises.

New bump stops go over the shocks, followed by the factory dust boots.

Your new springs can be installed and the IRS subframe can be bolted back up.

And that's about all it's gonna take.

Like I mentioned earlier, a fresh alignment after the install isn't a bad idea.

Wrapping things up here, the Whiteline Lowering Springs offer a 1.3 and 1.7-inch drop in the

front and rear respectively.

And they are performance-based spring, designed for street and occasional track use.

As always, I suggest you check these out more online for yourself.

Trump's Indonesia partner considers runnning for president | Fast News 247

US President-elect Donald Trump's Indonesian business partner Global Mediacom

CEO Hary Tanoesoedibjo told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, "If there is no one

I can believe who can fix the problems of the country, I may try to run for president."

He added that running for election would be "not for myself, for the country"

and that the country needs "a leader with integrity who can bring a solution for the country."

Tanoesoedibjo attempted in 2014 to be nominated for vice-president, and has his own political party.

He uses Twitter and TV to build his political platform, and has already arranged for two Indonesian politicians to met Trump.

Current Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama is fighting Muslim Indonesians who oppose the idea of a Chinese Christian Indonesian running the country.

Tanoesoedibjo, who is also Chinese Christian Indonesian, would need to continue fighting a similar battle were he to be elected.

However, Tanoesoedibjo believes "the majority of the people are more realistic. They want to see a leader

who can bring solutions" and are ready for a leader of any background. In his opinion,

"The issue is more with President Jokowi. He has to show his leadership is firm enough to make people calm down."
