Welcome to Thailand, Chiang Mai...
It's a place in the mountains up north in Thailand.
When I was in Asia last year..
...heaps of people told me I have to try this place.
So, here I am!
and I'm gonna check it out!
It's winter in here, the same like in Czech...
It's just about 40°C degrees more in here...
It's great!
There is a nice mountain, where you can ride whole year long.
Cheap food..
And relatively high standard of living...so...
..I think it is awesome place!

Jeep Wrangler Barricade Premium Replacement Sailcloth Soft Top (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 7:09.
I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Barricade
Premium Replacement Soft Top with tinted windows, fitting all 2007 and up JKs.
There are a couple of different versions of this top.
One is for those of you with a 2007 to 2009 JK, and the other for those of you with a
'10 and up.
And of course, these are body style-specific, so make sure you get the right one for your
either two-door or four-door JK.
Today, we are going to talk you through the installation of the soft top, which I am going
to give 1 out of 3 wrenches.
This is going to snap right in place of your factory soft top on your factory soft top
frame.
There's going to be no drilling, no cutting, no major modification necessary to get this
installed.
It is a very straightforward and easy installation that shouldn't take you more than two hours
to complete.
We're also gonna talk through the construction and a few of the features of this top.
This soft top is for those of you who currently have a soft top on your JK.
This is going to be all of the soft materials, all three of the windows that are tinted,
and also the canvas top itself that is designed to snap directly in place on your factory
or factory-style soft top frame.
There are a couple of different types of soft tops available out there, so again, this is
for those of you who already have a soft top, who already have all of the soft top hardware.
If you don't have the soft top hardware, there are are tops available that are considered
to be a complete top.
They'll have all of the hardware, the frame, all of that other material that you'll need
in order to get a full soft top installed if you don't currently have one.
There's also the option for a frameless or fastback soft top that does not require a
factory-style soft top frame.
However again, this is for those of you who already have a soft top, you already have
the hardware and you're just looking for a replacement top.
Those of you who have a soft top know that especially if you leave your soft top on your
Jeep year round, it sits out in the weather, it is going to take a beating and eventually
the seams are gonna start coming apart.
It may have gotten ripped or cut off-road, so a replacement is something you're going
to have to do at some point.
And I recommend this Barricade premium replacement soft top over the Barricade standard replacement
soft top for those of you who do have the budget for it, because this is going to be
a little bit more expensive.
But those of you who are looking for something that's much more akin to the factory premium
top that you can get right out of the factory on the newer JKs, the standard material from
Barricade is very close to the standard soft top that you get from the factory, and this
is definitely going to be an upgrade.
You can tell right when you take it out of the package and look at it, but especially
when you feel it.
It's a much heavier grade material.
It's going to hold up better, it looks better, in my opinion, and it's also going to keep
down on noise and help to keep your warmth inside in the winter and your cool inside
during the summer because it is a bit of a heavier material.
If you're somebody who has your soft top on your jeep year round and it takes a good beating,
I would recommend, if you have the budget for it, going for the premium top because
I think it's gonna hold up better.
If you're looking to save a little bit of money, if you don't quite have the budget
for this, or if you're somebody who runs your soft top only during the summer months and
switches to a hard top in the winter, then you might be able to get away with the standard
Barricade top because your top isn't going to take as much abuse.
So as far as construction goes, this top is built very much like your factory soft top
is, and of course, it has to be.
It's designed to go right on that factory soft top frame, it's going to look factory,
but again, you are getting the upgraded material that does look very good, will hold up very
well, and has some great insulating properties also.
As you can see, everything is stitched in the same way that it would be from the factory.
You do have your tinted windows here, all of your zippers are big, heavy BP zippers,
you have Velcro in all of your factory locations.
Again, very much like a factory top.
It's gonna look just like factory, but it's going to look like a factory premium top because
it is the higher-grade material.
Like I said before, I am giving this a 1 out of 3 wrenches, and you will have to set aside
around two hours to get this installed on your JK.
The first step is going to be removing your factory soft top off of your soft top frame.
In order to do that, of course, you'll have to remove all three of your windows, you'll
have to have a Phillips head screwdriver handy or a screw gun with a Phillips tip, because
there are a few screws that you're going to have to remove to get the top taken off of
your frame.
Then, it's just a matter of reversing that process with your new soft top.
You're going to start at the front of the Jeep, attaching your new top onto your windshield
header.
From there, you can flip the top back, working from the front toward the rear, clipping it
and screwing it into place on your frame.
Finally, you'll install your new windows and you'll be done.
The only thing you'll have to be worried about when you're installing a soft top - and not
just this soft top, but really any soft top - is that you do it when the weather is warm.
It is recommended that you install this when the temperatures are over 70 degrees Fahrenheit
because the material will then expand, it'll be pliable, and it'll go onto the frame much
easier.
If you try installing this when it's colder, especially because it's new right out of the
box, it's not stretched at all, it is going to fight you.
You're definitely going to have a much harder time if you try installing this when it's
cold.
So if you're doing this in the winter time, a heated garage would be helpful.
If you're doing it in the summer, lay this out in your front yard, let it bake in the
sun for a few hours if you have the time.
It's going to make this much more pliable and trust me, it will pay dividends when you
go to do the installation.
As far as tools necessary to get this bolted up, really just a Phillips head screwdriver
and some patience.
And as far as time goes, right around two hours.
This premium replacement top from Barricade comes in at about $100 more than the standard
replacement soft top from Barricade, and in my opinion, that is a small price to pay for
the additional quality that you're getting from this higher-grade material.
As I said before, if you're comparing the two side by side, the second you take this
out of the box, you can tell it's a higher-quality material.
It has a nicer feel, it has a nicer look, it has better insulating properties, it'll
cut down on sound better.
Really, everything about this top is premium vs. the standard top from Barricade.
And again, I highly recommend it, especially if you're somebody who leaves your top on
year-round and wants something that's gonna hold up really well.
So if you currently have a soft top on your JK and you're looking for a replacement top
that is factory-style that will have all of the factory functionality, but is a higher
quality of material that's going to hold up better, look better, and have better insulating
properties.
I highly recommend taking a look at this Barricade replacement top.
This isn't going to be at the same level as, say, a Bestop premium top, because Bestop
does make the factory OEM tops for Jeep.
So that is going to be a step above, but it's also going to be significantly more expensive
than this top.
If this falls into your budget, I think this is a very nice top.
So that's my review of the Barricade Premium Replacement Soft Top with tinted windows,

to see how I have improved in in the
past year and I feel have improved quite
a bit maybe not maybe maybe not a ton
k but I feel I've improved a lot I'm
coughing a lot right now too so it in
any any cuts pretty much any cuts or
fade throughs cuz I like the fades instead of
just jump cut and I those are probably
because i'm coughing and I don't really
need that in the video so anyway of this
video yes it is going to be a look back
at the previous year we're also going to
be taking a quick look at the previous

hi guys this is DragoNate here and
welcome to my first official vlog I done
about 200 videos i think this video will
actually be the hundred ninety-eighth so
eh not big deal
ok so right right about there we I I've
done another 200 videos this past year
as well I'm previously though what i was
doing is just pooping out videos
literally i have is i was making two
videos a day for seven days not even
editing them whatsoever and just pooping
them out on youtube I have since calmed
down with that and the amount of videos
i actually upload is one a week now
pretty much because to a day was way too
much and one a week ended up being the
only things i could really do for to to in
order for me to be able to edit the
videos and actually put effort into them
so there's that as well as we probably
don't even need the green screen here I
was kind of doing this to recreate what
what I did in the previous video so yes
I what I do now is I i do one video
every week that I can actually edit and
actually put some good effort into you
can see my microphone thing here which I
apologize about that my phone just fell
lovely at least my beautiful glass desk
is still fine because I was prepared i
put this down so it didn't break
anything
so yes one video a week that i put the lot of
effort into or try to put a good amount
of effort into and then I livestream
twice a week because of course the
community is also important thing to me
on my channel you guys you guys the most
important thing to me on
on on my channel here so and I think
that it's time that I talked about this
is it was time that I've talked about
some things jail so right now i have i
think twenty-nine subscribers at the
time of recording this and at the time
of making this video here last year I
had 29 subscribers now we are this close
this close to a hundred subscribers in a
year (Actually, we reached 100 subscribers yesterday!)

it
it's still exciting to me and it's still
my blowing and and and messed up in my
mind in a good way because it's it's
like wow how is this happening and it's
still every subscriber i get is like so
super exciting to me seriously
still every single one that I get it
doesn't matter who it is doesn't matter
anything soon as i get one it's like
literally ask my mom that's pretty
much exactly what i do want i want feedback
from you guys like what do you like what
don't you like like just give me
feedback even if it's negative feedback
like and as for giving me feedback I
still appreciate any feedback that I get
and I still want that a lot i'm i still
do get that a lot and one of the videos
i put up a thing was a team fortress 2
video as i did with Rblood and
someone commented on the video and said
that the volume was extremely loud and I
it didn't seem like it to me and when
when when i was playing it back and I
playback on on multiple devices of my
own & i i usually i usually run my
volume at you know a certain amount of
volume percentages and levels and
everything different crossed across
devices and they and they differ across
because so it gets a little confusing
and you can't really determine a hundred
percent but i keep these at maximum with
this and then on the computer i keep it
at
a specific level and that's where I try and make
videos around so when i'm looking at my
videos or listen to my videos editing
them and everything i make sure that it
sounds good enough that I can hear
without like ah it's way too loud and
without like having to like strain to
listen I make sure that it's good enough
here that's hard because some people
might have the volume at maximum some
people might have the volume down much
further than mine or slightly higher or
something so everyone's volume is
different according to the person right
but either way that was still their
feedback right and I still took that
into consideration and i'm going to make
sure with all my videos from now on the
that I do a better job of that because
it may have been at that time there
there may have been some audio issues
that i was dealing with oh oh no i
forgot to be putting the hood up my bad
okay well let's put the hood up this is
good that going and making my necklace
be seen my necklace can be seen now yay
ok let's continue it would be so cool if
I could like get to know you guys a
little more like each of you and have
even small conversations with you
whether it's on youtube or and those
small conversations I've been having
quite a few small conversation with you
guys large conversations too and even if
it's just the comments but I'm that's
what the live streams are about for me
the live streams for me personally are
less about the game that I'm playing and
more about interacting with you guys and
that's what i like and that's why i
chose to do it
my face looks really messed-up pausing
right there i don't know if you guys
will actually see that or not but the
live streams are the most important thing
to okay so my phone started to fall
again and the candle that's holding it
got moved and that's what felt so
hopefully that's fine now as so
what was I saying about the live streams
yes the community is the most important thing
to me and that's why I figured during
the live streams would be a great idea
is because then I can actually have that
kind of interaction with you guys right
more often because I do it twice a week
and I love doing that I love it I love
talking with all of you guys and it's
absolutely great
and of course my social media links and
stuff are in the description below
they're also on my about page you can
you can look at those so you can follow
me in those places and stuff
okay and basically the rest of what I talked
about in that video was just about um
um um um what what kind of videos you
get you guys want to see I still don't
want to be limited to just one thing and
I'm not really i'm doing vlogs now I've
doing the games i'm doing the live
streams have also done a few silly
stupid videos out there as well just
just for the heck of it you can you can
find there's a silliness and randomness
or sorry randomness / silliness playlist
that I have which you can look at in the
description down below
other than that yeah i don't i don't
really know what else to talk about with
this I guess I i basically kind of just
wanted to ah my hair
I just kinda wanted to take a look back
at this my really i'm not impressed
look at this just I don't know if you
guys can actually even see that anyway
this thing keeps pulling my hair this is
what's gonna make me bald so how have I
improved in the past year
well I I still I still got my hood i
took my hood here how I put it I'm not
microphone
ok so I i feel like i am less what's the
word less less boring less some thing
when i do the live streams though my
facial expressions seem to be quite
monotone and don't really change and
when I'm doing these things are trying
to force them to change and then ok I
can also do this thing which a lot of
people find really weird so anyway and
so I I feel like I've I've become a
little more silly
and I'm trying to be a little bit more
energetic and that kind of thing as so i
hope i hope that you guys I feel the
same way about that
oh and one other quick little things
that I want to talk to you guys about is
I'm for for new year's resolutions which I
mentioned in the previous video as well
because i was also in January eighth and
the I what I don't do new years
resolutions really had also and is
whatever I don't care if you guys are
sticking to them or not because I don't make them
myself and what I do though is I is I
try and think of something and have some
way that I want to better myself feel
the next year
mmm a few years ago it was asking God
for wisdom every day that was one of my
pastors a church said and I still
continue to do that this year what I
thought of and I found this out on a
radio show that i watch for every day
writing down thinking of something in
writing down something that it like some
kind of positive things some positive
memory you write that down and you keep
it so that at the end of the year you
look back at all those positive memories
so I've started to that and i already
have a bunch written down right here
you guys don't need to see him because I
right now well for now not going to
worry about this and I I unless I end up
forgetting about it when I want to do
with the end of this year and next year
on the 8th is go for all these and just
kind of look back at all the memories
cuz I think it would be really cool to make a
video like that would be kind of like a
a time capsule kind of thing or
literally a year in review so yeah I
feel like everything is going quite well
and I am growing a lot more this year
and I've met so many new so many
more new people and everything and just
the community has been great you guys
have been great and I am so looking
forward to this next year with all of
you guys and I hope you are as well and
yeah i hope you guys enjoy this video
and i will see you in the next one
