Today's event is about education and technology.

More specifically, it is about empowering

the students of today to create the world of tomorrow.

We are under no illusion that technology

alone is the answer to transforming education.

Dedicated administrators, great teachers,

motivated students, and involved parents and

communities are the ones changing education.

And technology is merely a tool to empower

their creativity and their ingenuity.

It is this opportunity that motivates our work in education

and everything you'll see today.

>> Welcome to This Week on Windows.

We're in New York celebrating all things education.

>> And that means a ton of new announcements,

all to help support students and teachers.

>> In fact, I got a chance to catch up with Joe Belfiore

from the Windows team who, fun fact, is behind a number of

innovations at Microsoft, like Windows 10.

He gave us some of the highlights from today.

Let's take a look.

We're here with

Microsoft Corporate Vice President Joe Belfiore.

Now Joe, this event is all about education.

Can you tell us a little bit more about why the focus on

education?

>> At Microsoft, we think a lot about how we can empower people.

And education is about young people and

the connection that happens between teachers and students.

And it's hard to think of anything more important and

valuable to do than to focus on those people and

making them more effective.

And help to prepare them for the world of tomorrow.

>> Can you take us through some of the highlights of

the announcements?

>> I'm proud today to introduce you to Windows 10 S.

>> [APPLAUSE] >> Lots of great new things that

we announced today.

First, Windows 10 S,

that is aimed at helping people who want Microsoft to manage

the application experience on the device for you.

So it's very reliable, it's very high performance, and

it's really easy to take care of.

>> Now if the student has been on this device before,

every log in after the first one on

Windows 10 S will be less than five seconds.

>> And Windows 10 S will be available on a range of new PCs

coming from all our PC partners at the low-cost and fancy

devices that have touch and pen and all those sorts of things.

One other really cool thing is that we also announced

the Microsoft Surface Laptop,

which will be running Windows 10 S.

It's a beautiful touch-enabled laptop that comes in multiple

colors and would be great for all kinds of people, but

particularly students and people going off to college.

>> Now I know there were some announcements related to

Microsoft Teams and Minecraft,

can you tell us a little bit more about those?

>> Yeah, absolutely.

So Microsoft Teams is a collaborative app experience.

It helps teams of people work together.

And what we announced at the show was Microsoft Teams for

Education now focused on classroom scenarios.

>> For example,

I can introduce a new unit to my world history class by bringing

in an anthropologist into the classroom with a video call.

>> So it's an easy way for

teachers to coordinate the activity of all their students.

It's an easy way for

students to do collaborative projects together,

to communicate, to submit assignments, it's terrific.

And then Minecraft.

>> In Tinker, you drag and drop blocks of code

to create a tunnel program that moves the agent,

and digs down to discover what's beneath the surface.

>> We announced the ability for students to write software code

and actually drive or control their Minecraft world.

>> We know it's engaging, we know it's working, and

we know it's reaching both boys and girls.

>> I'd love to know, out of these announcements,

what are you most excited for?

>> I mean, I think the product technologies are all really cool

and our customers and students will love to try them out.

>> So, how do we bring the benefit of our real world and

this digital world together?

>> I'm excited to announce a new feature coming to

Windows 10 this fall that allows you

to view 3D content through your screen.

Kind of like a magic window.

We call this new feature View Mixed Reality.

>> But I think the thing that probably is most meaningful for

me is the way in which we're focusing on how teachers and

students will work together.

It's fun to build the products but

its really rewarding to think about the impact that

it can have for everyone.

>> Absolutely, thank you so much for

sharing with us your role and the news of today.

>> In addition to what was mentioned on stage,

everyone got hands-on with the new technology,

including something called Hacking STEM.

Take a look.

[MUSIC]

>> Okay, I'm here with Karen from Education Workshop.

And Karen, tell me what we're doing here today.

What is this?

>> So we are at the Hacking STEM booth here.

And Hacking STEM is a group that has looked at putting up four

lesson plans available for free for educators.

That look at how to tuck design, computational engineering

thinking into existing middle school curriculum.

So, this is the part of our unit on machines that emulate humans.

And students first start by looking at the anatomy

of their hand.

We have them actually build a model or

articulated model of the finger out of a boba straw,

some fishing line, and a little piece of string.

Now, in order to move towards the more technological side of

it, we have them then build a sensor.

This sensor costs about a quarter to make.

But when I put this on my finger, I can actually now have

a robotic experience and see how a robotic finger would work.

Well, think about student designing robots for

the future or prosthetics for the future.

By streaming this live into Excel and

seeing that measurement,

they can now come up with the design principles and the design

requirement for what a hand in the future would look like.

And let me show you what some real students have done and

how they've taken that forward.

[MUSIC]

I am extremely honored and very lucky to be working with

Jason Newark here, who's a middle school STEM teacher.

So his students started to hack our project.

The second thing they did is they said,

okay, we made this hand.

What we really want to do is use that same mechanism and

build ourselves a dragon.

The fact that the students were able to take these core basic

skills and bring them to life in a way that was driven by their

passion, to us, is success.

>> They hacked the hack.

>> Well, Karen, thanks so much for being here.

I do wanna double check.

How can students and

teachers get their hands, literally, on these materials?

>> So there is two ways.

First of all, all of the lesson plans for

all the projects are online at aka.ms/hackingstem.

Everything is free, available for teachers and

students to download.

Also, we're super excited to announce a partnership with

the Microsoft retail stores.

Starting this Saturday, for

the four Saturdays in May, we'll be holding pop-up classrooms in

82 Microsoft Stores across the country, and in Sydney.

>> [LAUGH] >> And the other thing is,

is that this summer we'll be holding STEM summer camps

doing our projects in select Microsoft Stores as well.

>> Man, you're gonna be busy this summer.

>> Yeah, it is.

>> Awesome.

>> Super excited.

Today I will show you how to do this 3d origami Smurf model

We begin with a A4 piece of paper (297/210mm) , 80 grams /sm

this is the rectangle of paper for 1/64 pieces (3.6/2.7cm)

and this is the rectangle of paper for 1/32 pieces (5.2/3.6cm)

next I will make a 3d origami small piece (1/64) , all sizes of pieces are made in the same way the only difference is the size of the rectangle of paper

and now we make a large piece 1/32

now I will use 6-7 large pieces connected in a row to model the pieces

We begin with small (1/64) light blue pieces , I will show you how I glue 3d origami pieces

we connect pieces like this until we have 8 pieces in first row and 7 in the second

now we close the circle and we complete the second row with one piece

next we put a large (1/32) blue piece , 3 small (1/64) pieces , one large pieces (1/32) and 3 small pieces (1/64)

we put 2 small pieces between the large ones from the last row and then 3 small pieces above

we repeat the same thing in the other part

next we put a entire small blue row

now we increase the number of pieces in a row with one small piece

we cut these small circles with a scissors

we glue the nose to the inverted piece in the center of the face

now we glue the head to the body

GOP predicts victory on ObamaCare repeal vote

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and his GOP leadership team held what amounted to a pep rally for

rank-and-file members in the Capitol basement Thursday morning as they predicted victory

in their push to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

Leaders played the �Rocky� theme song as lawmakers walked into the meeting.

Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) put an image of George S. Patton on the screen

and read inspirational quotes from the general.

�Let�s get this f--king thing done!� Rep. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) told her colleagues,

according to sources in the room.

The House is expected to vote Thursday afternoon on the GOP�s healthcare bill, which has

been stalled in the lower chamber ever since leaders yanked it off the floor six weeks

ago.

Top House Republicans predicted they had the 216 votes necessary to pass, touting the expected

victory as a win for the GOP's vision on healthcare.

Passage would hand Ryan and his team a huge, much-needed legislative victory, though the

bill faces a difficult path in the Senate.

In the closed-door meeting, Ryan said Thursday�s critical vote was about fulfilling a promise

the GOP has made to voters for the last four election cycles.

The Speaker referenced news that the only ObamaCare insurer for most of Iowa is threatening

to drop out of the exchanges.

Ryan also thanked a long list of lawmakers who helped negotiate the legislation, including

House Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-N.C.), Republican Study Committee Chairman

Mark Walker (R-N.C.) and Tuesday Group Co-Chair Tom MacArthur (R-N.J.).

�Ryan summed up that this is what the American people feel, this is what the American people

asked us for,� Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) told The Hill as she left the meeting.

�This victory today isn�t about one side of the other; it�s about delivering good

quality healthcare to Americans, being able to contain premiums and allowing people to

have control of their healthcare again.

This is a day that we�ve sealed the deal on the promise to Americans.�

Trump ally Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.) added: "The main message was to remind America we

are saving healthcare, we are saving the individual exchanges, which are failing hour by hour.�

Leadership again told lawmakers that they have the votes to pass the bill, Collins said.

He expressed hope that one person would not be the "deciding vote."

"I'm hoping we see 217, because you always want to win by at least two," he said.

But not all members emerged from the gathering enthusiastic.

Vulnerable Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-Fla.), who represents the Miami area, left the GOP conference

still undecided on the bill.

"I'm going back to my office now to review it with staff," Curbelo told reporters.

"The key for me is that people with pre-existing conditions, the most vulnerable people in

the healthcare system, that there's a sufficient safety net to capture them all, to make sure

that none of them are left with no options."

Curbelo said a new amendment sponsored by Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.) to provide more

funding to insure people with pre-existing conditions "helped" but he needs to "figure

out if it's enough."

Leadership cited insurer exits from Affordable Care Act exchanges in Iowa and Virginia as

the reason the bill needs to pass Thursday.

"Look at the paper yesterday with the announcement of healthcare providers pulling out of Iowa

� 94 of those 99 counties won't have healthcare," House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy told

reporters.

"We cannot wait for how ObamaCare is collapsing.

We have to transform this, and that's what we'll do today."

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) touted the exit as proof "this law is in a

death spiral."

"Our bill rescues families, focuses on lower premiums, and puts people back in charge of

their healthcare decisions," he told reporters.

"I think you're going to see a proud vote today on the floor by a bunch of members ready

to go and rescue people from the failure of ObamaCare," he said.

What kind of world do we live in when sports sedans are better than the previous generation of supercars?

Aside from being the two quickest and most powerful four-door luxury sedans on the market, the Tesla Model S and Audi RS7 have one design theme in common: a hatch that defines the rear end silhouette and cleverly combines utility and functionality.

As much as the tech-laden Tesla and luxuriously appointed Audi drive a hard sales bargain without the hatch, we'd suspect it's a main selling point because if it wasn't, why not just go for an A8?.

Thing is, we're all gearheads here, so speed is a huge factor behind the appeal of both cars, especially when a $40,000+ price gulf exists between the base models and these souped-up muscle car variants.

That's why Jonny Lieberman and Jason Cammisa of Motor Trend see a comparison of the two to be fitting.

Especially so when the previous top-trim versions of each car accelerated from 0-60 mph in the same 3.2 seconds. Now, there are better and faster versions of each car.

The RS7 has gotten a not so subtle 40 horsepower boost over the previous RS7 while the Model S now comes equipped with a 100 kWh battery and Ludicrous Plus mode that allows the driver to put a bit of extra wear and tear on the electric motors in exchange for better off the line performance.

2005-2014 Mustang Viking Performance Crusader Series Double Adjustable Rear Shock Review & Install - Duration: 5:24.

What's up, everybody?

I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com and this is gonna be my detailed breakdown and install

of the Viking Performance Crusader Double Adjustable Rear Shock, available for your

2005 to 2014 Mustang.

Now, the Crusader from Viking should appeal with the S197 owners out there who are serious

about suspension tuning and wanna go with the most adjustable shock in the category.

In fact, with its 19 levels of compression, 22 levels of rebound, this is gonna be an

awesome twist for the hardcore drag racers out there or even the hardcore road racers

who wanna fine tune and dial in their optimal suspension settings to get the most performance

out of your setup.

Of course, all of that adjustment does eventually add up as the Crusader is gonna be your most

expensive shock in the category.

And these things will get a simple a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter

from me when it's time to talk about the install.

Now, even though Viking is a relatively new company in the grand scheme of things, they

were established in 2011, they had quickly gained a very favorable reputation within

the Mustang community, and more specifically the drag racing community, as their products

are used on some of the quickest cars in the country.

Now, the Crusader here took what the company did with the very successful B226 Rear Shock,

this product's predecessor, and just made it better all around, but more specifically

gave this thing better rebound valving.

Now, let's break these things down a little further from an adjustability standpoint and,

as I briefly mentioned earlier, guys, 19 different positions for compression, 22 different positions

for rebound adjustment, making for a grand total of 418 different combinations with the

Crusader here.

Now, with most single adjustable shocks, what you're really only doing is controlling compression

and rebound with one single adjustment, not the case here with the Viking, you're separating

the two, therefore giving you a lot more freedom or adjustability with how you wanna dial in

your car.

So by separating the two, the rebound and your compression here, you're just getting

more levels of adjustment previously unseen with other shocks available currently in the

category here on the site.

What does this mean for you guys?

Well, hardcore drag racers out there who wanna soften up that compression, help promote their

weight transfer to the rear, keep the rear end planted while under hard acceleration,

while firming up your rebound will keep that rear end planted will prevent the rear end

from bouncing, causing a loss of traction.

Now, of course, having a set of adjustable front shocks will also help further increase

your car's performance, dial in your suspension settings, but the rears and certainly gonna

play a major role.

Now, my road racers, on the other hand, you guys are gonna have a completely different

mindset because you're not so much worried about the front-to-back weight transfer, it's

more the side to side when you are pushing the car hard in turns.

Now, luckily for everybody out there, Viking does include some recommended setup instructions

for dialing in both your compression and your rebound right out of the box depending on

what kind of driving style you're gonna be putting your car through.

And this is awesome, right?

Because go with what Viking tells you right out of the box, make some small tweaks as

you see fit, and it's better than just guessing from the get-go.

But now that you know what these things are capable of from an adjustment standpoint,

let's break down the physical construction of the Crusader.

And plain and simple guys, you're looking at a very nice piece.

Light-weight aluminum for the body with a clear anodized finish, which just means that

these things are gonna stay corrosion-free and looking good for years to come.

Now, inside the shock, the quality components continue here getting monotube design featuring

a 5/8-inch chrome-plated rod, PTFE bronze seals.

These things are rebuildable and they are backed by Viking's two-year warranty.

A couple of small details here guys before we get into the installation.

First and foremost, they are sold individually.

So if you wanna outfit your S197 with a pair, just make sure to buy two when checking out.

And last but not least, Viking does say you can use these things on lowered Mustangs up

to a 2-inch drop, to be exact.

But now, let's get into the installation as promised.

And honestly, this one really isn't gonna be all that bad, guys.

If you've ever done rear shocks on your Mustang before, you know this is one of the easier

module ever tackled, so I'm going one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter,

maybe an hour or so from start to finish.

Now, as far as your tool list is concerned, basic socket set is really gonna be doing

most of your work here again.

But keep in mind, you will need to get the rear of the car up in the air slightly in

order to gain access to the lower shock bolts.

And also keep in mind, you will need to remove or drop the sway bar slightly to remove the

lower shock bolts from their mounting location.

So just make sure you have a pull jack or a floor jack on hand to support that rear

axle while doing so.

Now, once you remove the two 50 mm knots in the trunk, you can move underneath the car

and take care all of the work there.

You will need to remove those two end lengths from the sway bar allowing it to sag down,

so just make sure you have your rear end supported when doing so.

Once the sway bar is out of the way, remove the two 15mm bolts from the lower shock now

and remove the shock from the car.

Now, you can install the Viking in reverse order, tightening up the 50 mm lower bolt,

reinstall the sway bar, end lengths, and tighten those down, finish up your work in the drunk

with the two 15mm bolts there and your installation is complete.

So if you're serious about fine tuning the suspension in your drag or road race S197,

the Crusaders from Viking are gonna provide you with the most levels of adjustment currently

EASY DIY MUG CAKES ON MICROWAVE - Duration: 4:53.

Hola everybody, welcome to VeroSweetHobby

I'm in Argentina right now! This is my family

this is my cousin! what's your name? Camila

and this is my aunt: Adriana

and I'm here because she is the master of mug cakes

she is so amazing right? yes.

She is always posting this beautiful pictures

and I knew that when I came to Argentina

I had to make this Mug cakes!

She has to teach me, so I'm going to be

here learning with you guys.

and we are going to be making two

the first one is going to be a lemon mug cake

and the second one is going to be

a chocolate mug cake.

This are the ingredients you need:

The secret here is to use a large mug

We need one egg

three tablespoons of vegetable oil

don't use olive oil.

Three tablespoons of milk

One tablespoon of lemon juice

and one teaspoon of lemon zest.

Now, you mix the dry ingredients:

three tablespoons of baking flour

three tablespoons of sugar.

Keep mixing until you don't see any lumps.

Put it in the microwave for 3 minutes.

Just like with any cake, we are going to know

when it's ready when the cake starts inflating

and you can pinch it with a toothpick

and it comes out clean.

Now, we start preparing the chocolate mug cake

and I think this is going to be my favorite!

For this one you need similar ingredients

Mix one egg

with three tablespoons of vegetable oil

one teaspoon of vanilla

and three tablespoons of milk.

Now, you mix the dry ingredients:

three tablespoons of sugar

three tablespoons of sweet cocoa

and lastly, three tablespoons of baking flour.

Now let's go to the microwave again

for another three minutes.

talk to you guys about the advantages of

silver kilo bars and you know most

people even though you know if they're

not aware of investing in precious

metals or they're not familiar with the

precious metals industry as a whole

most are familiar with the fact that you

can purchase silver in a lot of

different sizes you know a lot of

different shapes if you will so you have

you know you can go from half ounce to

one ounce the 5 ounce 10 ounce kilo

hundred ounce etcetera etc

the smaller amounts are usually are the

ones that are suggested to the beginning

investors bigger weights such as a as

the kilo are typically done for more

serious investors who are looking to

acquire larger quantities of silver

geison and you guys know who you are out

there and and or someone that's aspiring

to to purchase a larger amount of silver

and the great thing about 1 kilo silver

bars is that one single bar constitutes

a huge investment in silver which is

fantastic right but the investment size

is not so large that it's difficult to

store or keep track of right that makes

sense

but if you had 32 or 33 individual 1

ounce silver bars that'd be much more

difficult to keep track of and store

than a single kilogram bar of the of the

you know of the silver medal right it's

just either having one of these versus

32 rounds in my opinion I think rounds

are great too don't get me wrong that is

just one of the differences though or

benefits I should say of having kilos or

investing in silver kilo bars versus you

know a lot of the other

choices you have I mean there are

benefits to all of them but the kilos is

right up there with you know one of the

best advantages if you will one of the

best ways to put your money into silver

there's not anything incredibly specific

that you have to know with the with the

one kilogram silver bars and I'll put

this one up here so you can see this by

the way is our by our MC guys okay you

know if you have experience with

handling and storing you know any other

size of silver bars you'll have no

problem dealing with these one kilo bars

they're heavy but not that heavy they're

produced by a wide variety of companies

I mean a lot I've got I've got few buy

RMC I've got another one right here by

Ohio precious metals these are this is

hand pours beautiful but keep in mind

though that unlike some silver bars

kilobars

they don't come protected by any casing

or anything of that sort as you see in

so many of the different silver metals

so but obviously because of the

responsibility to keep your bars and

they shape falls on you and only you

other aspect of the ownership of

one-kilo silver bars is the ability to

keep the bar and fine shape and free

from you know markings and scratchings

and chips and so on and so forth but you

know like any other weight the pricing

in one kilo bars varies from let me show

you this other one from producer to

producer from seller to seller to seller

I'll get out the Ohio precious metals

and that it's kind of a totally

different look in it look at that really

clean this is kind of more into the

homemade you know hand poured both

beautiful in their in their own right I

think that you'll find it is much more

beneficial though to purchase a single

kilo bar than it would be to purchase 30

plus one ounce bars or even you know six

or seven five ounce bars and even on top

of that purchasing

single kilo bar will see incur a much

lower premium right you get them cheaper

then you would if you bought a kilogram

of silver in a piecemeal type of fashion

you know in other words 32 1 ounce

rounds or 1 ounce bars or you know as I

said 6 or 7 of the 5 ounce but despite

the larger size here guys okay even

though you have that there's quite a few

I guess you say a lot of different

producers of the of the kilo silver bars

it could come as a surprise but it only

serves to make you search for the

perfect one kilogram bar that is much

easier and hassle-free there are bars

that are produced as recently as this

current year or bars that were produced

decades ago there's lots of silver bars

that you can choose from in other words

there's a lot of variety right so the

packaging as you can see this is a chi

semi see see how different it is

that the packaging of the one kilogram

silver bar is that they're they're not

encased any sort of protective case

right they just they just come like this

this this is what they're shipped in

right okay that gives you an idea

they're rather most of the purchase of

one kilo silver bar see the bar is

wrapped in bubble and secured for

shipping from the bullying deal no other

protective steps are taken as you just

saw this is not always the case but it

happens more often than not this is what

Ok, let's get to today's video

a few weeks ago I uploaded a video with 15 random facts about me

and one of the questions was "What did you want to be when you were little?"

and my answer was to become an author.

After I uploaded that video I decided to look for the old short stories I wrote during the University years

when I was in my twenties, as my dream was still to become an author

So here are my old short stories

some are really short, other ones are a bit longer

and I thought I'd share a few with you

To be honest some of them are a bit cringy, while some other ones are less embarassing

and one or two moved me because they brought me back in the days

so if you're ready let's get started

The first story I selected is called a slice of lemon in a gin tonic

it was one of those weird nights when everything feels perfect

as if the world for a short amount of time

stopped revolving and everything looked new

They sat by the sea, it must have been the beginning of August and they were looking at the sky

They had drunk and smoked a lot

that's probably why everthing felt cushioned

The hot night was mitigated by a soft cool breeze and the only sound they could hear

was the salty waves sliding to touch their naked feet

The beach was desert and they felt like the whole world was in their hands

Anna was staring at the moon

and she felt like it was the first time she had seen it

it was surronded by a soft yellow haze

"It looks like a slice of lemon in a gin tonic" she said all serious

and that's what she had been thinking for the previous 5 minutes

"a slice of lemon in a gin tonic" she repeated.

As much as the sentence sounds funny now that night the all agreed

that the sky was a huge gin tonic laid on a dark table with a nice lemon slice floating in it.

Giulia lit the last cigarette and they shared it

it was 3 a.m. and somewhere in the sky something moved and while falling drew a bright trail

for the few seconds necessary to dream

Later they found out that they had made the same wish

I wish everything would stay just as it is

and somehow they were heard because that very night stayed intact in their memory and nothing could ever erase it.

I knew I was going to be emotional

that's probably because I actually lived that moment

and I think that we all have some tiny perfect moments in our lives that we will never forget

and I'm glad I kept it alive through this short story

Then I wrote a series of stories named sensation n., with a random number

that depict some specific moments of my life at that time, as for 2 years I used to write quite often

and I liked the idea of fixing some moments, both happy or sad, and one of the most hilarious "sensations"

among my friends Anto and Ale, who used to read them straight away

is called "Maybe you're just dead!"

and I wrote it for my boyfriend at that time.

It's 9.30 in the evening

I'm seating with my bare feet rested on the window

the sunset bursts in my face and quickly fades away

like a caress of lead.

I watch the airplanes trails in the sky

the light is slowly fading away and the white trails look like whipped cream on a teal sky

too intense to be a twilight.

That's a buit cringy, am I right?

I move my focus from the newly dead sunset to the rancid green of the nailpolish on my toes and I wait.

What am I waiting for? I wait for a ringing sound to fill the air and offer my an answer

any kind of answer

we're always sad when we don't know and we often feel miserable when we know

I'm waiting for a ringing sound followed by an "Hello" and a voice to fill the empty space.

It's nightime and I'm sitting in front of the TV

Bologna's muggy weather comes trought the open window

from time to time I hear a scooter roaring on the street

I mechanically bite paprika chips, the ones with a silly slogan

I let my tongue slide on the rough surface of the chips and I enjoy the feeling

I feel empty inside, cathodic intermittence in my eye

chipped nailpolish on my thumb and index on both hands.

The chips crunch between my teeth, 48 hours of nothing.

I don't know if you got it, but I was basically waiting for a phone call

It's the middle of the night, I lay on my creased yellow bed sheets

a cigarette between my index and middle finger lazily burns

the artificial light turns my walls to yellow.

repetitive music repetitively repeats, BOOm BOOM ,Hoonz, HOONz, BOOM , TOOm, TOOM

bass and drum in an obsessive loop

no news, I'm still waiting.

it's early morning and a generous sun sets the darkness free from its prison

I lay hugging my sweaty bed sheets, it's late June

No music, no sounds, just wait, palpitation, weird tachycardia.

zero, less than zero, a lot less than zero

let's be honest, below zero.

fuck off, I say aloud, my vocal cords move slowly

Fuck Off it's my first word of the day

FUCK OFF, maybe you're just dead.

This is one of the cringier stories, but I some how find it quite hilarious

Always from the "sensation" series...oh wait I didn't tell you but this one was called

sensation number 669

sensation number 141, which means I wrote it a lot earlier

and it's about another person

the sound of the rain mixed with the beats of my heart

every beat a rain drop

and the rainy clouds above our heads

the warmth of the hand holding mine

while we walk in silence and everything looks perfect

suprisingly perfect.

Nothing feels wrong, not even the dump hair strands falling on my face

or the drops that gather to form thin streams on my face

If I could I would fix this moment forever

perfectly still, infinitely identical...gosh I did love allitterations!

because it couldn't be any better than this

Like when a you see a breathtaking landscape and you wish you had a camera to take a picture

and have it available every time you feel sad

If I could save this moment intact in my memory forever I would save it just as it is

without any need to better it

his hand in mine, his eyes in mines and the rain falling on us

the sound of my heart skipping a beat, the touch of every single raindrop on our cheeks

sensation number 141, I'm finally happy, trurly happy.

Gosh that was cringy, very cringy!

and those were some of the short stories that I wrote in around 2 years

I don't know if you enjoyed this video, but I have to admitt that I loved to travel back in time

because going through these pages reminded me how I felt back then

I was very similar and very different

but it's a gift being able to live again so vividly such memories through my own words

I have many more stories, some of them are longer and I perfectly remember a science fiction one

and another very long one called Y.D., young depressed

the story of an introvert and awkward girl and how she

manages to become very popular

2015-2017 F150 Roush Power Pac - Level 1 5.0L Review & Install - Duration: 7:11.

Hey, everybody.

I'm Justin with americantrucks.com and this is gonna be my detailed overview of the Roush

Level 1 Power Pac available for your 2015 or newer 5.0L powered F-150.

So the Roush Level 1 Power Pac will be a relatively easy and basic way to squeeze an additional

16 horsepower, 19 foot pounds of torque out of your 5.0L powered F-150, all for around

the mid $700 price point.

Now, this kit does include the Roush Cold Air Intake System, along with the calibration

voucher that you will need to have flashed by your dealer unless you have access to the

J2534 interface tool.

The included calibration is optimized for 91 octane or higher fuel but can be used with

lower octanes, just don't expect to see these bigger gains with the lower octane fuel in

the tank.

In addition to that, Roush does offer an optional three-year, 36,000 mile warranty with both

the intake and calibration installed.

Something you don't always see in the land of after-market tuning.

As far as your installation is concerned, well the intake itself will be very straightforward

but you will need to factor in the trip to the dealer which will just add a little bit

more inconvenience but nevertheless I'm still gonna go one out of three wrenches on the

difficulty meter with some more detail later on.

But, let's break down this Level 1 Power Pac here from Roush and at first glance things

are very simple, right?

Because they are.

You're getting two parts essentially here with this kit.

The first of which we're talking about is the Roush Cold Air Intake System.

A solid part overall and it will be replacing the cheap paper element factory filter and

factory air box in your 5.0L truck with one of Roush's high-flow dry filters.

Not only will this be a upgrade infiltration, and of course appearance, but also with power

as well, thanks to less restriction, giving you a little bit more power and also some

other benefits.

Truck owners can also look forward to improved throttle response here with the Roush Cold

Air in place.

Roush also claims maybe a slight increase in fuel economy if you can stay out of the

pedal of course.

And then last but not least, definitely some more noise coming from under the hood of that

Coyote power plant, thanks to the open element design.

But all that aside, the Roush Cold Air will certainly feature OEM levels of fit and finish

and just a solid build overall.

And that's partially why it continues to be a top seller in the intake category for the

newer 5.0L trucks.

You're gonna be looking at a majority of injection molded ABS plastic here for the build.

And you're also, of course, receiving the Roush high-flow dry filter that we've already

talked about.

Some owners might actually prefer that dry filter as opposed to an oiled filter.

The idea being here is that you're not gonna over-oil the filter accidentally causing some

oil to get on your mass airflow sensor and therefore causing the truck to run a little

rough.

It rarely happens but it can happen with the oiled filter, not a concern here with the

dry filter.

Moving away from the Cold Air Intake here from Roush to the second part of the Level

1 Power Pac, and that of course is the calibration voucher, that little piece of paper you see

right there.

I just wanna point that out guys, you're not gonna be receiving a handheld tuning device

or flashing device with this kit so don't be disappointed when you don't find one of

those in the box.

Instead you're gonna take that guy to the dealer, they will then flash your truck for

you, unless you have access to that J2534 interface tool that we talked about a little

bit earlier.

Now, once that calibration has been flashed, you can look forward to advertised gains from

Roush here.

Again, 16 horsepower, 19 foot pounds of torque at the real wheels mind you, and this is a

very realistic claim.

Sometimes with these after-market companies they throw these outlandish numbers out there

to try to get your money.

Roush is certainly not that company, they're gonna be realistic with you, and I think 16

and 19 respectively is gonna be real-world figures here, guys.

Keep in mind that is on 91-octane or higher.

You can run 93 if you have it available in your area, and you're probably gonna get more

consistent performance out of the truck with the higher octanes.

On the other hand, if you wanna run a lower octane, an 87 or 89 perhaps, then you can

still do that but you're not gonna be seeing those advertised gains that Roush claims with

this kit.

Now, speaking of those gains, it's gonna be done through improved camshaft timing and

a focus on throttle mapping here guys which Roush claims is just gonna help give the truck

a slightly sportier feel overall.

In addition to that, you can take advantage of that three-year, 36,000 mile warranty we

did talk about a little bit earlier.

You have to apply with Roush directly for that using the included paperwork, and it

must be done within 30 days of the installation.

Now, say you're watching this video and you like the Roush name but you're really not

all that impressed with these gains, well then I recommend checking out the Level 2

Power Pac also from Roush.

That kit will toss in the Roush cat back exhaust system along with a slightly more aggressive

calibration, delivering gains upwards of 30 plus horsepower and 28 foot pounds of torque

at the real wheels.

Granted that kit, yes, is gonna be double the price of the Level 1 Power Pac, but you're

looking at nearly double the gains.

Let's switch gears and talk about the installation a little bit further and initially, yes, I

did give this a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter, but keep in mind

that does come with the caveat of needing to visit your dealer in order to get that

calibration flashed, unless for whatever reason you do have access to that special interface

tool.

So, this will add to the final price slightly, depending on your dealer.

Maybe you have a hook-up and they'll do you a solid for free.

Otherwise, in my experience, they're gonna charge you about an hour of labor which could

be around $100 extra bucks on to that final price tag.

Now, the intake itself is a complete piece of cake and it can be done in about 30 minutes

to an hour depending on your expertise and just how much of a hurry you're in.

Basic hand tools here, guys, including a socket set, a couple of screwdrivers, and a torque

tool to move the mass airflow sensor from your factory setup.

Keep in mind this is a no-tune required intake, so I'd recommend installing this first before

driving to your dealer to have the calibration flashed.

Now, in order to install the new Roush Cold Air, you have to uninstall that factory intake

first.

So go ahead and loosen the clamp at the throttle body, unplug your mass airflow sensor and

any hoses, and then use your socket set to completely remove that factory air box and

set it aside.

With the factory stuff out of the way, you can get to work assembling the new Roush Cold

Air Intake.

Now, me personally, guys, I've done a few of these things over the years.

I like to assemble it on a workbench first, and then drop it into the engine bay in one

piece.

So, basic stuff here, just assemble everything, tighten up the hose clamps, swap over that

mass air flow sensor to the new mass airflow housing from Roush, reinstall in reverse order,

tighten up the clamp at the throttle body, plug in your hoses and your mass airflow sensor

plug, and your installation is complete.

So in closing, yes, this is a very basic Power Pac from Roush but you are getting one of

the top rated cold airs on the site in addition to a calibration from one of the most trusted

names in after-market, Ford Tuning.

Factor in that optional warranty and you get a great buy for the mid $700 price point.
