Youtube daily report Nov 2 2017

More signs of Seoul and Beijing's bilateral relations returning to normal.

Recently there have been visible improvements in cultural exchanges.

To ensure this trend continues, Korea's foreign minister could be making her way to China

as early as this month.

Oh Jung-hee reports.

After South Korea decided to deploy the THAAD missile defense system in July 2016,...

China's retaliatory measures were most visible... in the culture and entertainment sectors.

Concerts and fan meetings were cancelled... and Korean celebrities couldn't star in China's

TV programs,... nor could their video clips be distributed online.

But as the two countries promised this week, to rebuild their relations as soon as possible,...

changes are already being seen.

On Tuesday, a K-pop group named Mamamoo was spotted arriving in China,... and according

to industry insiders, they have performed for a TV music program in Sichuan province.

Mid and small sized online video platforms are getting ready to resume importing South

Korean dramas.

And a couple of Chinese broadcasters, including the state-run CCTV,... have aired programs

about the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and the torch relay... which they never did

during the over-one-year-long THAAD row.

To keep up this somewhat-improved atmosphere,... Seoul's foreign minister is expected to visit

Beijing this month.

If it happens, it will be the first visit to China for Minister Kang Kyung-hwa, though

she has already met her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi twice on the sidelines of international

events.

The two top diplomats are expected to discuss follow-up measures on mending bilateral relations,...

President Moon Jae-in's possible visit to China later this year,... and ways to restrain

North Korea's provocations and bring stability in the region.

The visit could possibly take place in mid or late November... after Kang's tour to three

Southeast Asian nations from November 8th to 15th.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News.

READ: Osama Bin Laden's Journal Released by CIA

A videotape released by Al-Jazeera TV featuring Osama Bin Laden is broadcast in Britain December 27, 2001.

The Central Intelligence Agency on November 1 released hundreds of thousands of documents, computer files and images that were recovered during the May 2011 raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The materials provided further insight into Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda, the group that struck America with terrorist attacks that killed almost 3,000 people on September 11, 2001.

There were several surprising materials in the release, including various video files. One of the files that was recovered on Bin Laden's computer was the "Charlie Bit My Finger" video which went viral during the early 2000s.

To access the full release of files by the CIA, click here. The CIA release also included Bin Laden's journal. The agency made photographs of the journal available, including entries from the day before his death.

"Please note the photographs were taken in the urgent hours after the raid as the US Intelligence Community analysts reviewed the material in search of clues that would reveal ongoing al-Qa'ida plots, as well as the identities and locations of al-Qa'ida personnel, and other information of immediate importance," the description of the journal on the CIA's website said.

CIAA page from Osama Bin Laden's journal. The journal is 228 pages in total, with almost all of it being written in Arabic.  Click hereto access Bin Laden's full journal.

Since his death, many have advocated for the release of Bin Laden's files, with the Long War Journal arguing that transparency "would help better inform American people, experts and policymakers." The November release of documents is the latest portion of files that have been released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

For the previous releases, click here. Bin Laden's compound in Pakistan was raided on May 2, 2011 by the U.S. Navy's SEAL Team 6, who stormed the location in darkness and killed Bin Laden at the scene.

The operation was code-named Operation Neptune Spear and was led by the CIA. It was launched in Afghanistan and included a total of 79 commandos and a dog, The New York Times reported.

The operation started with the team of SEALs flying into Pakistan from eastern Afghanistan via two modified Black Hawk helicopters.

The raid was planned for late in the evening so that the helicopters could enter Pakistan with little chance of being detected, but as they approached the compound, the first helicopter suffered from a hazardous airflow condition, causing the aircraft to crash into one of the compound's walls.

It damaged the helicopter's tail and rolled it onto its side. The pilot was able to tip the aircraft's nose down, avoiding further trouble, and no serious injuries were reported.

After it landed, the SEALs scaled the walls of the compound and got inside, breaching walls and doors with explosives.

On their way to where they presumed Bin Laden was, they encountered several people along the way. Bin Laden was believed to have lived on the second and third floors of the compound with his family.

As the SEALs encountered Bin Laden on the third floor, he retreated and the lead SEAL fired a shot, hitting him in the side.

Other SEALs stormed the bedroom and confronted him, shooting him dead in the forehead as he reportedly used a female as a human shield.

The operation ended a search for Bin Laden that lasted almost a decade. President Barack Obama triumphantly announced Bin Laden's death in a nighttime press conference May 1, 2011.

November Energy Reading - Duration: 4:14.

November Energy Reading.

by Nicole Frolick,

November Energy Reading In Peace I walk the path of the Active Heart

Before we kick off November with my monthly energy reading, I thought Id share with

you some thoughts about a viewers concern on accuracy of using oracle cards.

Last month, I received a question from a viewer about how accurate oracle cards can be when

providing answers to our questions and that surely if I picked the cards again, I would

get different cards.

This is a great question and I used to believe the same thing.

That is until I worked more consistently with cards and would get the same card come out

again on multiple occasions.

There are some steps you can take to increase your accuracy when working with such tools.

And I do highlight the word tools as that is what oracle cards are.

They are not to replace our highest guidance from our Higher Self but instead to assist

our guidance from Higher Self in a fun and creative way.

One of the steps I take before all of my readings is center myself.

I usually do some deep breathing or a short meditation.

I then ask for connection to my Higher Self only to come through.

Another step I have taken (which everyone should do when working with oracle cards)

is cleansing and clearly the energy of my deck and then charging the deck with my own

energy.

I bless the deck and ask only for guidance that will serve my highest good and the highest

good of all those who I am reading for.

If you notice, certain cards keep coming up in my energy readings.

It happened again for November.

This is another sign of accuracy that some of the energies/themes we are working with

are not yet completed.

For my September reading, I had actually pulled a card before I filmed the video I now have

up on my site.

The problem happened when I realized my mic wasnt plugged in correctly and the sound

was awful.

I was upset because I had gone through a complete reading before I realized this.

So I started over and chose again.

Guess what happened?

I chose the exact same card.

These are little confirmations for me that something higher is guiding this reading than

just dumb luck and coincidence.

This is also not the first time it has happened to me.

So I hope that helps to shed some light on that question as I completely understand the

concern about accuracy!

In fact I was so happy I received that question because we should all be questioning everything

we hear and read.

Practicing good discernment is vital especially at times like now.

So thank you for that!

Now to November

This months reading is a beautiful continuation of the energies from October.

Last month, was all about becoming the Spiritual Warrior and now in November, we must activate

this within.

Its time to begin balancing the divine masculine and divine feminine while uniting

the two in harmony using spiritual guidance of our higher self.

Successful harmony will then lead us straight into heart activation.

Heart activation will be the key to healing the trauma coming up through the exposure

of truths as we begin to see the world in new ways.

To receive the full reading, please watch the video below.

Many blessings,

Nicole.

A tour around competition and non-competition venues of 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics - Duration: 4:30.

Setting everything right to have a world class sporting event in your back yard is no easy

task.

Curiosity peaks concerning the venues to welcome athletes and spectators.

Is PyeongChang is ready to welcome the world?

Cha Sang-mi updates us on the progress made with the Olympics facilities constructions.

2011,...

South Korea's PyeongChang was named the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

And since then, the Korean government has been busy working to transform the mountainous

county of PyeongChang into an Asian sports hub.

After unceasing efforts, the region is now almost ready to welcome its Olympic guests.

(KOREAN - ed: steve) "The construction of competition and non-competition

venues is 99 percent complete.

We plan to do our best to complete the venues during the remaining hundred days."

The Games are held in two different areas: snow sports such as ski jumping and the biathlon

will be held at the PyeongChang Mountain Cluster, and the ice sports such as curling and ice

hockey will take place at the Gangneung Coastal Cluster.

Altogether, the twelve competition venues and non-competition sites make up the "Winter

sports belt".

Here's a look at some of the major competition venues:

The Gangneung Hockey Center has a capacity of 10-thousand-and-9, with nearly one-hundred-and-50

handicapped seats.

(Stand-up) "The closest seats are just 1-point-6 meters

from the rink, allowing the audience to even hear the sound of the players breathing."

Some good news for the athletes.

The supplementary stadium is just 18 meters away from the venue, and twelve locker rooms

allow participants to get enough rest, even on days with a full games schedule.

The Alpensia Ski Jumping Center is where fans will see the mesmerizing sight of athletes

souring through the air.

The venue has been carefully thought-out to help the skiers prepare for their jumps.

(KOREAN ed: steve) "Our venue has an athlete-centered design.

It takes just 10 minutes to get here from the Athlete Village, and the routes are very

compact, so they can focus on the Games."

The Olympics organizing committee manager says they have prepared extra snow in case

there's a thaw due to warm weather, and they've set up a large wind net to help shelter the

athletes from the effects of the wind.

And now to some of the non-competition venues...

The Olympic Plaza will serve as a gathering place for the opening and closing ceremonies.

In the center of the plaza is the cauldron -- the symbol of the Olympics -- which will

be lit during the opening ceremony.

(ENGLISH) "The stadium is made out of 35,000 seats and

you can see that there are several storeys here.

It was completed in the end of September.

It's a great environment to hold the ceremonies."

So where are the participants staying during the month-long games?

(Stand-up) "This is Gangneung Athlete Village, a temporary

home for some 2,700 athletes and organizers involved in the Winter Olympics."

The Village consists of two main sections - the residential buildings and an operational

section, which includes a doctor's clinic, a bank, and a shopping center.

The nine 22-to-25-storey buildings make up some 900 housing units, and four to five participants

will be sharing each unit.

(KOREAN - ed: steve) "The buildings are built with state-of-the-art

technology.

Firefighting, heating, and water supply systems are perfectly arranged.

It provides a pleasant residential environment for the participants."

When it comes to the post-games plans for these venues, the Olympics Organizing Committee

expresses their hope to leave them as a legacy for the region,... packed with tourists throughout

the four seasons.

(KOREAN - ed: steve) "It would be a big gain if we could provide

health and healing experiences, making use of the legacy of the games to connect the

resources and landmarks that Gangwon-do Province has."

Just the final touches need putting in place,... and in around 100 days, these venues will

be packed with fans cheering on their Olympic heroes.

📝 Wild Cards - Falling Down (ft. James Delaney) Lyrics

Feel like I'm drunk when I'm sober You've been turning me inside out

Know that I've lost my composure It's like I've been stuck in a blackout

Long night cold sweat I'm shaking High time low points you take me

Missed calls long texts I'm slipping Away too deep I've drifted

I feel a change in me lately I'm all worked up when you're not around

You might think that I'm crazy But I can't see straight when I'm falling

down No I can't see straight when I'm falling

down

Oooh No I can't see straight when I'm falling

down Oooh

No I can't see straight when I'm falling down

Lost in a love hangover Every day you've been sticking around

Wishing that I could hold ya But I'm thinking you'd turn me down

Long night cold sweat I'm shaking High time low points you take me

Missed calls long texts I'm slipping Away too deep I'm drifting

I feel a change in me lately I'm all worked up when you're not around

You might think that I'm crazy But I can't see straight when I'm falling

down No I can't see straight when I'm falling

down

Oooh No I can't see straight when I'm falling

down, Oooh

No I can't see straight when I'm falling down

Shittier by Jen Kwok - Duration: 4:22.

(nature sounds)

Did any of us ever think

we'd live in a time

when it felt like

we were going backwards

Even though we're not really going backwards

I'm not sayin it's all meant to be

Not sayin focus on positivity

I'm sayin that sometimes

Things have to get

shittier

before they get better

Cuz we're in the shit right now

And we don't know how we got here

But we're gonna get out somehow

Yeah things got

shittier

(shitty)

Then they got shittier

(shitty)

And they might get shittier

Cuz we can't always be skippin along

in a field of flowers

Sometimes we need a little manure

Even though we hate the stench of manure

Cuz we need that smelly shit to grow

Though it's not the comfort that we wanna know

Yes I'm sayin that sometimes

Things have to get

shittier

before they get better

Cuz we're in the shit right now

We in a ball pit that is made of shit

And we are just throwin that shit around

Yeah things got

shittier

(shittier)

Then they got

shittier

(shittier)

And they might get

shittier

I wanna take y'all back right now

To a time long ago

and a place far away

All the way back to the Vietnam War

Now there was a young man getting ready to go to college

to become an engineer

But instead

he was recruited to fight against the Viet Cong

And in the same city

was a young woman also full of hopes and dreams

Who got on a boat w her family

floated across the ocean

in their only chance to survive

The man and the woman both made it to America

And one day

the man was walking down the streets of LA

when he saw his old friend

Kevin

(KEVIN)

Kevin said

"Hey man, are you single?"

And the man said

"Hell yeah"

And Kevin said

"Well, I have a sister I think you should meet"

So the man and the woman met

Six months later they got engaged

One year later they got married

And two years later I was born

Now I'm not saying

that we need violence in this world

And I'm not saying

that we need to have war

in order to create life

What I'm saying is that

sometimes shit really needs to hit the fan

in order for a bitch to get born

you know what I'm sayin?

Ooh

sometimes

things have to get

shitty-ay-ay

Things have to get

shittier

before they get better

Cuz we're in the shit right now

We are in

a container that is made of shit

And it is smellin like shit

But we gonna get out somehow

Yeah things got

Then they got

they might get

iPhone 8 Plus vs Samsung Galaxy S8 Camera Comparison - Duration: 7:03.

"Music"

Hey Guys it's Sagar from Tecworkz.

And in this video, we will compare the camera performance of the iPhone 8 Plus with that

of the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Even before we start, let me tell you that both of them have phenomenal cameras.

I recently went on a vacation, where I was travelling on my motorcycle, So i had to pack

very light.

After a long thought, I decided to leave my DSLR behind, and only carry the iPhone 8 Plus

and the Galaxy S8 for capturing all the moments of my trip.

And if you saw my iPhone 8 Plus camera review, you know I took some amazing images.

In this video, we will take a look at a some more of those images from both these smartphones.

But before we get to that, make sure to hit the subscribe button, so you don't miss

out on any of the amazing videos coming up on this channel.

Now lets take a quick look, at the specifications of the camera, on both these smartphones.

iPhone 8 Plus sports dual 12 megapixel cameras.

The first one has a 28mm wide lens, with an aperture of f/1.8, and optical image stabilisation.

While the 2nd one has a 56mm telephoto lens and an aperture of f/2.8.

Unlike other flagship smartphones, launched this year, Samsung did not put dual camera

module on the back of the S8.

It has a single 12 megapixel sensor, with F/1.7 aperture, and Optical image stabilisation.

Both the phones can capture 4K videos at 30fps, but the iPhone 8 Plus can go a few steps further,

and also capture 4k at 24,30 and 60fps, and 1080p slow motion videos at 240fps, which

is just amazing.

At the front you have a 7 megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 on the iPhone, while

the S8 has a 8 megapixel sensor with wide f/1.7 aperture.

Native camera app on the S8, offers manual controls while taking images and videos, there

are no such options on the native camera app of the iPhone.

You can download third party apps if you want manual controls on the 8 Plus, but with a

camera this good, Apple should consider giving us these options in the camera app itself.

Now lets take a look at image and video samples from these phones.

All images have been shot in auto mode.

Both phones capture incredible details in good light, and the colours from the iPhone

8 Plus are much more vibrant and saturated, than what we usually saw from the iPhones

before this.

S8 tries to captures warmer colours than the 8 Plus, in most shots.

When we zoom in, images from the 8 Plus are a tad bit sharper in comparison.

iPhone also better handles the exposure in the shots.

In this image, S8 has blown out the details, of the design on the glass, but we can see

them in the image from the iPhone.

On the iPhone 8 Plus, you can have auto HDR turned all the time, so you get better details

in the shadows, while the highlights are also preserved in most shots.

This HDR shot is brighter from the iPhone, but I actually prefer the one from the S8,

since its image seems more pleasant to look at.

Before moving on to the close up shots, here is a quick test between the focusing speed

of these cameras.

iPhone has a nice, fast and smooth transition, when you switch the focus from a near to far

object.

Focusing on S8 is much faster.

it comes in very handy when you are capturing images.

But for shooting videos, this fast transition looks abrupt, so I prefer the focusing of

the iPhone while shooting videos and of the S8 while taking images.

Both cameras capture close up shots, with lots of detail and the background is blurred

out very well.

But the S8 again tried to capture warmer images, which you may or may not like, depending on

your colour preference.

The dual cameras on the iPhone, allow you to take amazing portrait shots like these,

even in lower lighting conditions.

It has got a lot better then when it was introduced last year, and I use it more often now.

You have the selective focus mode on the S8, which tries hard, but cant quite take shots

like the portrait mode.

That being said, if you have some patience, and take time composing the shot, selective

focus can give you amazing shot like this.

The dual cameras on the iPhone, also lets you take 2x images, without any loss in image

quality.

It's nice to have such a feature, but i don't use this one too often.

With that, we come to low light performance of these phones.

Both have optical image stabilisation, and wide aperture, so they capture amazing images,

even when the light goes down.

In these conditions, S8 tried to cool the colours in the shot, as opposed to making

them warmer on good light.

So again, I like the colours from the iPhone 8 Plus, in low light as well.

There is very less noise in these images, which shows how good smartphone cameras have

got, over the years.

Front facing camera of the S8 has a wider field of view, and it captures more light

thanks to the wider aperture.

While the iPhone, has a better dynamic range, and captures more details.

Coming to video performance, both again do a very good job, with S8, topping it video

capture to 4K at 30fps.

iPhone 8 Plus takes things further by capturing 4k videos at 60fps, and 1080p slow motion

videos at 240fps.

So if shooting videos is your priority, I will push you towards the iPhone 8 Plus.

It has also got a better overall camera in my opinion.

We saw a lot of images in various lighting conditions, and iPhone had a slightly upper

hand, in almost all of them.

So if you have the money, and are looking to chose between these devices, based on their

camera, go with the iPhone 8 Plus.

That being said, S8 also does very well while shooting images and videos, and the difference

between the two is very small.

If you are an iOS person, you will probably get the 8 Plus, and if you are used to the

android side of things, you might go for the Galaxy S8.

Either ways, you end up with an above average camera, in your possession.

Now you saw these images with my thoughts backing it up, if you are still not convinced

with your decision, I urge you to watch the images again, but this this time mute the

audio, look at the images in the highest resolution you can, and see which ones you like better.

Hopefully, this way you can make a better purchase decision.

If you do decide to get any of these smartphones, I will appreciate if you get them from the

links in the description section.

It helps the channel out at no extra cost to you.

That is it for this video guys.

What are your thoughts, about the cameras on both these smartphones, do let me know

in the comments section.

This was SUPPOSED to be a FUJIFILM X-PRO2 Review - Duration: 8:24.

This was supposed to be a camera review.

Traveling changes you.

Not only in that you see other things around you, new places, new people. It also shows you who you are and who you want to be.

It changes the way you think about life.

Sometimes, it helps to preserve these moments. Like a visual journal of how you progress through life.

So, photography can be a tool for self development.

And it's in that process that I found my art and what I think it is that I really want.

Why the X-Pro2?

You know what? It doesn't matter one bit.

Choose the camera that feels right, that makes you do the things you want to do. For me, that is the X-Pro2.

As this is still supposed to be about the camera, and as it's also still a tool to get a job done, let's talk about some of the more technical

things that I came across while using it for the past one and a half years and what I like or don't like about it.

I love the X-Pro2's body design but it does have some flaws, like for example, this diopter dial. It's in the worst place imaginable.

Whatever bag you put it into, as soon as you try to pull it out you probably change the setting.

This rubber ring that you would have on the videwfinder, it just fell off. Also this little plastic plug they put into the flash sync jack

is a little bit loose so that you will probably lose it at some point. I'm.. losing it.. right now. Ok, there you go. Ok!

What I like about this camera; It has absolutely the same controls as my X100f and as I use them together quite a lot, it makes just sense so I don't

have to think about the controls at all. I like how they combined the shutter speed dial and the ISO dial in one. I know that many people have an issue with that.

But I honestly like the idea and that it makes the controls simpler on top. And it's the same thing on the X100f, so I like it quite a bit.

I switched over the the Fuji system when the X-T1 came out. I already liked the X-T1's sensor with its 16Mp.

Now we have a bump to 24 on this one, but it actually doesn't make that much of a difference, because the 16 already was enough.

If you need to crop a little bit further then it probably makes a bit of a difference, but not too much honestly.

The only thing where you do see a change is with the higher ISOs, because you can easily use 6400 ISO on this body,

whereas on the X-T1, it still was a little bit wonky at that point.

To be honest, I rarely use the optical viewfinder on the camera, although now, with the added screen in the corner, where you can actually check focus

and also exposure, it's gotten pretty useful! At this point, I still use Canon cameras for video, but if they added IBIS and perhaps better autofocus for video,

I'd be happy to just use the Fuji cameras for everything, because now I have like, 4 cameras! And if I could reduce that to 2, would be all the better!

Find the camera you like, that disappears in your hands, that lets you experience what's in front of you. Then go shoot.

Because it shows you what's wrong and what's right.

Because it heals you.

I've realized many things in the past few months. This video took me forever to make.

Because it's difficult.

Because I love it almost too much.

That's why I'm changing, and my videos will too.

I like to talk about cameras and gear and technical stuff, but what I love to talk about the most here is photography.

What I love the most is photography.

I'll do both, but I think I know better now where I want to go with all of this.

Also, what I hear from you - and I'm blessed that you guys are so awesome, asking questions and interacting with me down there in the comments -

it shows me that this is the right way to go.

From every place you visit, you take something with you,

but you also leave a part of you behind.

Berlin has ripped a big chunk from my chest.

Berlin has changed me.

And I thank it for that.
