"I'VE BEEN ABUSED AND I'VE HAD A LOT OF BAD THINGS HAPPEN
IN MY LIFE."
BUT SHE SAID, "AS I SAT AT THE TABLE, IT SEEMED THAT GOD
HAS PLACED ME WITH SEVERAL OTHER
LADIES WHO HAD HAD ALMOST IDENTICAL BACKGROUNDS
AS I'VE HAD."
ISN'T IT AMAZING HOW GOD WILL SET YOU UP SOMETIMES?
AND SHE SAID, "BY THE END OF THE WEEKEND, THIS IS WHAT I
FOUND OUT, THEY'RE ALL FREE.
EVERYTHING THAT GOD TOLD THEM TO DO THAT THEY DID HE ALSO TOLD
ME TO DO BUT I NEVER DID IT."
WE'RE EXPECTING A LOT THESE DAYS AND WE'RE NOT WILLING TO DO MUCH
TO FEEL LIKE THAT WE'VE EARNED IT OR DESERVED IT
AND IT'S NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE.
THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN EVER REALLY APPRECIATE ANYTHING IS TO KNOW
WHAT YOU PUT IN TO HAVE THAT REWARD IN YOUR LIFE.

ALL OF HIS BLESSINGS WERE CLOUDED BY NEGATIVE THINKING.
INSTEAD OF THANKING GOD THAT HE HAD A JOB, HE RESENTED
NOT HAVING A BETTER JOB.
INSTEAD OF REALIZING HIS PARENTS DID THEIR BEST FOR HIM,
HE BELIEVED THEY DIDN'T LOVE HIM ENOUGH TO PROVIDE
BETTER OPPORTUNITIES.
HE COMPARED EVERYTHING ABOUT HIS LIFE TO THOSE WHO HAD MORE
THAN HE DID, BUT HE NEVER REALIZED HOW MUCH HE HAD,
HOW MUCH MORE HE HAD, THAN A MAJORITY OF PEOPLE
IN THE WORLD.
WHAT HAPPENED TO CHARLIE IN THE LONG RUN?
"WELL, HE DID ONE MORE JOB AND WAS ON THE VERGE OF LOSING
ANOTHER WHEN A CHRISTIAN MAN HE WORKED WITH INVITED HIM
TO GO TO CHURCH WITH HIM AND HIS FAMILY.
JULIE ALREADY ATTENDED CHURCH REGULARLY, BUT CHARLIE
HAD ALWAYS REFUSED TO GO.
THIS TIME HE SAID YES, AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE JUST THE RIGHT

CHARLIE HAD FINALLY BEEN MISERABLE LONG ENOUGH,

U.S version of unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 receives Android security update & bug fixes ● News #TECH - Duration: 1:36.
For the first time since the phone was launched three months ago, the U.S. version of the
unlocked Samsung Galaxy S9 has received an update.
Weighing in at 696.28MB, the update brings the June 1st Android security update and some
bug fixes to the handset.
The new software version is G960U1UES2ARF4.
The Verizon and T-Mobile variants of the phone also have received the same update.
If you do own the U.S. unlocked Galaxy S9 and you receive the notification that the
update is ready to be downloaded and installed, you need to do a couple of things first before
starting the updating process.
One, make sure that you are on a Wi-Fi network.
Two, charge up the battery on your handset to 100%.
Once both of these things have been taken care of, you can then proceed with the update.
Since the update is being disseminated OTA, it will be going out in waves.
That means that it might not hit your phone right away.
Be patient, and soon you will receive the notification that it has landed on your handset.
However, if you feel like you can't wait, you can try to manually coax it out by going
to Settings to System on the phone.

SharkMate, uses an algorithm that considers factors like water temperature,
historical shark data, rainfall, and presence of lifeguards
to predict the likelihood of a shark in the water.
J: And Papa, a service that bills itself as "grandkids on-demand," wants to
fill the gap by connecting college students, called Papa Pals, with seniors.
The Papa Pals might take seniors to the grocery store or doctor's appointments,

Why These Lasers Are Too Powerful to Use in Space - Duration: 3:32.
Hey guys! Matt here for Science or Fiction.
Many countries have proposed developing giant lasers to shoot at things in space.
No, this is not the plot of Austin Powers 4, these are real, honest-to-god plans hatched
up by a group of scientists.
The idea is that a massive laser would be used to zap space junk into such tiny pieces
so that they will no longer pose a threat to important spacecraft like the International
Space Station.
But, would that even work?
Are space lasers really a thing?
Well, first, you might be wondering, what the heck is space junk?
There are actually a couple of types.
There's natural and unnatural kinds.
The natural kind mostly refers to small meteors that orbit the sun.
The unnatural kind, also known as orbital debris, includes any man-made object orbiting
the Earth that no longer serves a useful function.
This includes pieces of nonfunctional spacecraft, old rockets, abandoned launch vehicle stations,
retired satellites, some dude in a Telsa/car etc.
Now, many space agencies are trying to develop plans to deal with the debris because space
junk is becoming a huge problem for their operations.
And this shouldn't come as a big surprise given that humans have been sending all sorts
of things up into the cosmos over the last 60 years.
There are over 20,000 pieces of space junk larger than a softball currently orbiting
Earth.
There are well over 500,000 pieces of space junk that are the same size as a marble or
larger, and millions upon millions of pieces that are much smaller.
That said, even a super tiny piece of space junk could inflict serious damage on an active
spacecraft, including the ISS, given that most of these morsels are traveling up to
speeds of up to 17,500 mph.
NASA first started to consider the option of a laser in 1996.
The space agency teamed up with the U.S. Air Force on Project Orion, which suggested that
a powerful laser could be used to vaporize surface material on space junk.
If vaporized enough, the idea was that the objects would be taken out of orbit and come
hurtling back to Earth, where they would burn up in the atmosphere.
This proposal never became a reality because the laser would be so powerful that it could
also have been considered a weapon, which wasn't likely to sit well with other countries.
Since then, NASA has proposed using much less powerful lasers to do a similar job.
In 2011, a team looked into using a system that would operate using photon momentum.
Instead of one quick zap, this laser would use a much weaker light that would concentrate
on one piece of junk for an hour or two over the course of multiple days.
Still, this proposal has yet to become a reality.
There have also been proposals for magnets that would be used to lure the pieces out
of orbit.
And (a group of) European engineers have recently developed a net with a harpoon to test the
effectiveness of plucking debris out of orbit and sending it into the atmosphere to burn.
But as lasers remain one of the more popular ideas, many still fear that the deployment
of lasers could mean the militarization of space.
Theoretically, a laser could also destroy functioning satellites from other countries,
not only space debris.
There are strict international treaties in place to prevent space militarization, which
makes plans like this one very controversial.
Whether or not space lasers ever become a reality, the plan is feasible.
The U.S. and other countries definitely have the technology to carry it out.
So while this laser scheme may seem like something out of a Star Wars or James Bond movie, it's
real, and it could start within our lifetimes.

(REBRAND THE IMAGE OF POST-WWII GERMANY
(AND BRING INTO A MODERN AGE)
(KNOWN FOR
(STRONG COLOURS, SOLID GEOMETRIC DESIGN,
(A COMPREHENSIVE DESIGN PACKAGE AND FLAWLESS PICTOGRAMS)
At games like Munich '72 and Otl Aicher's work,
I'm a great fan, I have several posters on my wall
in my studio at home.
And no-one can forget the iconic poster designs
that he created - colourful, bold, dramatic,
distinctive, and differentiating.
It was colourful and bright and it was exciting,
but it also had that German precision.
So, you know, you got that story and it's pre digital.
That stuff all had to be done by hand.
It was so mathematically precise,
but Aicher's ability to make it sort of energetic,
that's why people love it.
One of the most inspirational games
that I researched and looked into was Munich.
And that source of inspiration was a poster.
A single poster that had all of the assets -
the emblem, the colours, the mascots,
everything all on one piece of paper
and I just thought, "That is so integrated,
"that's so..." You know, it so beautifully presented.
You've got no doubt that this is a single unifying event,
that's bringing everyone together.
I think a beautiful thing about the Olympic Games
is it gives the opportunity for a country
to redefine themselves on the international stage.
Munich 1972, that colour pallet was so vibrant,
because they were trying to change the perception
of the previous Nazi regime.
Having that clear vision, this is what
our goal is, and this is the message
the viewer has to walk away with, is what...
..is the difference between the Olympic's graphics
that we remember and the ones we tend to forget.
I think every designer looks back at
different aspects of design and things that work
really, really well.
There's something there that we can borrow for the future.
Looking back, it's remarkable what had actually
been done in the '60s and '70s.
They were solving some of the most complex
branding challenges in the world and they were doing it
with precision and artistic expression.
Tokyo '64 being the first to start towards that.
Of course Mexico '68 was remarkable.
But after that, Munich '72 created the most beautiful
identity systems that inspired,
not only the Olympic design itself,
but a whole generation of design.
If you look at their design system,
you'll also see that their mascot, the dachshund,
actually fit completely within the system.
It looked like it was designed
as part of this bigger picture.
It was a total game changer.
And of course the pictograms are one of the brilliant
legacy elements of what they did.
Everybody has go a changing up and styling them,
and making them different,
to making them fit their look.
But as a simple piece of communication,
Otl Aicher's pictograms are still world class.
Otl Aicher created what is referred to
as the holy grail of pictograms.
He really established an international presence
for what pictograms could and should be.
In a very structured and gridded way,
he created this beautiful cohesion of pictograms
that all came from the same place
and could quickly communicate what the sport was
and those pictograms look as fresh today
as they were in 1972.
It's a very simplistic, timeless design.
It's almost like a sculpture.
Like in a way, if you think of Michelangelo
starting with a big piece of limestone
and he just kind of chiselled away
and I think pictograms are a lot like that too.
You have to strip away all the data that is not necessary
to get to the really core idea.
The bar was set so high, it's been so difficult to
beat those 1972 pictograms.

Beats by Dr. Dre is probably the most
iconic headphone brand of our times
and the fact that it's owned by Apple
they only adds to the aura around the brand.
The Studio 3 Wireless is Beats's 'flagship' headphone
and it features Adaptive Noise Cancellation
and the now fabled, Apple W1chip.
We thought we'd do a quick video
taking a closer look at these headphones
and giving you everything that you need to know
about the Beats Studio 3 Wireless.
Lets get started
I wanna first talk about the design
of the Studio 3 Wireless
It's an unmistakably Beats by Dre headphone.
It comes in a wide range of colors
and have a really nice premium look to it.
But, Beats has over the years been more
famous... and infamous for having a really cheap plastic
build quality. But the Studio 3 Wireless is a
definite upgrade. The construction of the headphone is still
plastic, but they are definitely very durable
it looks like its really received the Apple treatment
to make the headphones really nice and matt
rather than the earlier cheap, glossy finish.
The big design feature for me
is the fact that the headphones can be collapsed
and folded. It allows for the headphone
to be stashed away really conveniently.
The Apple W1 chip is really the 'Angel' and the 'Devil'
when it comes to the Studio 3 Wireless.
Now, Apple has really designed these headphones
to work exclusively and extensively with the
Apple ecosystem, So pairing these headphones
with the iPhone is an absolute breeze.
You simply bring the Studio 3 Wireless close to an
iPhone and the W1 chip gets detected
and it pairs seamlessly.
Pairing it with an iMac is just
as easy. And if you're listening to iTunes,
you find that you can control your music
right from your headphones.
Calling upon Siri from the headphones is just as seamless
and Apple has really paid attention to the smallest of details
while using these headphones.
If you're gonna be using these headphones with an Android
device, You'll find that even pairing the headphones
is very painful. The headphones sometimes
don't show up on the Bluetooth menu
and connection dropouts are very common.
You find that while you're using it with
an Apple device, the Studio 3 Wireless comes with
22 hours of battery life, try using it
with an Android and the battery life
falls down to only 14 hours.
You can't really use these headphones
to control the way you stream your music
with Spotify or Tidal
or with really any other streaming service
quite the same way as you can
when you're using them with iTunes.
You also find that the functionality gets very limited
when you're not just using it with
Android devices but with the windows laptop
or with an Amazon firestick
or with a Google Chromecast.
More importantly
the Studio 3 Wireless doesn't support Qualcomm's
aptX codec, So these headphones sound great
as long as you use it, you guessed it... with an Apple device.
I think that the main feature that Apple has
gone for with the Studio 3 Wireless
is the Adaptive Noise Cancellation function on these headphones
The headphone is constantly optimizing the sound
its playing into your ears, by detecting the sound
around you and in the environment.
Its Noise Cancellation isn't the best in its class
but it certainly gets the job done.
In terms of sound... Beats by Dr. Dre
has always been known for having lots and lots of bass
and the Studio 3 Wireless is certainly a very bass heavy
and warm sounding headphone.
It lacks a lot of the detail and refinement
then a lot of the other headphones in this class have
but Apple isn't trying to impress audiophiles
with these headphones.
The Studio 3 is a fun sounding headphone
especially if you listen to music like EDM,
or Bollywood... or really anything which has a
thick bassline.
In conclusion, the Beats Studio 3 Wireless
is neither the best sounding headphone,
nor the best Noise Cancellation headphone
but, if you're someone who is loyal to the Apple ecosystem
you'll find that the convenience offered by
the Studio 3 Wireless is simply unparalleled.
It's Apple doing what Apple does best
which is offering a seamless user experience
across all its devices.
I'm only going to recommend the Studio 3 Wireless
to an Apple fan boy.

Mr Petagna warned there could be thundery showers towards the weekend.'Into the weekend, Saturday night and Sunday, we could start to see a few thundery showers in the south west
If we get thunder, there could be heavy rainfall,' he said.But still this would not halt the predicted heatwaves, with temperatures and sunshine set to return into next week
This comes after a warm night in the capital with those in London struggling to sleep with temperatures hovering around 64F (18C)

The high temperatures and blue skies will continue into the weekend.It will also be dry, with only a small chance of thunderstorms threatening any rain next weekend
Forecasters say the jet stream is pushing warmer air up from Europe, creating the sunny, pleasant conditions
Met Office forecaster Sophie Yeomans said that at this time of year the temperatures were usually around 68F (20C) in England and Wales, 64F (18C) in Northern Ireland and 60F (16C) in Scotland
