Youtube daily report Jan 13 2017

Hello tankers!

Happy New Year!

In today's episode we'll be revisiting the New Year celebrations in Tanki

by looking at some cool numbers, and discussing the first of this year's updates.

The past few weeks have been pretty awesome with all the New Year festivities in the game.

And your feedback shows that you REALLY had a great time with them.

So let's have a look at the New Year in Tanki… with some cool numbers.

During the 7 days of the Striker Giveaway event, 273 MILLION tanks were destroyed.

That's 33 percent more than the average frags for a regular week.

The record holder for the week's frags is THIS GUY,

who managed to make a staggering 3208 kills in one day.

In the same event, we gave out Striker Resistance Modules to 1460 tankers.

Throughout the holidays, you tankers caught more than one and a half million gold boxes.

That's more than 3 times the average for the same period.

182 thousand battles were created in the special holiday Assault mode.

On the 29th of December, on the day of the turret sales,

80 thousand Strikers were bought.

64 thousand players registered for the traditional New Year quest THE GAME,

and 13 thousand participants managed to complete it successfully.

And the toughest day in THE GAME was day three,

because it took the longest time for the first correct answer to come in.

All in all, it's been a really awesome holiday,

and we're definitely looking forward to the next one!

2017 has just begun, but we've already started rolling out some cool, new features.

Let's have a look at what the release on January 12th, brought with it.

First of all, there have been some tweaks to Shaft's parameters.

The turret has become more effective at close combat

thanks to an increase in its firing rate.

Additionally, the zooming effect for sniping mode has been increased,

which means you can now make very accurate shots, even at really long distances.

With these changes, Shaft has now become even more of a sniper,

if we draw parallels with infantry.

You have a very precise, powerful, long distance rifle,

and a pistol for a close combat.

Striker's parameters were also tweaked, making this turret slightly better.

We've increased its firing rate for better DPM,

and made some improvements to the aiming system.

We've also increased angular velocity for rockets.

This means that rockets have become more maneuverable, and harder to dodge.

It has also become harder to knock off the turret's aim

while it is firing its full salvo of rockets.

In addition to the balance changes,

we have also implemented an all-new battle format...

Hornet and Striker.

This format is lots of fun, and pretty crazy.

Make sure you try it out and leave your feedback in the comments below.

In upcoming episodes, we'll be telling you about our progress on the upcoming artillery turret,

the clan system, AND something else that you still haven't heard about!

Video of the week!

Last episode was on the 23rd of December,

and during this long period of time you've sent us a ton of entries.

You had to shoot a video on the New Year map,

and the winner will be getting 100 thousands crystals.

Here is the winning entry.

The theme for next time is parkour with Striker.

If you're not quite sure how to do that, don't worry!

Our friends from the Fight and Flight parkour club, have prepared a few tricks

to kickstart your imagination.

Enjoy the show!

That's it for this episode!

Hit the Like button and don't miss our upcoming episodes.

See ya!

Last time, a Striker fired a volley of rockets into a crowd of tanks.

You had to guess how many tanks would be destroyed.

The answer is… 4 tanks.

Here are our winners, and here is the new question!

4 giống chó quý và hiềm nhất Việt Nam - Quôc khuyển - Duration: 3:41.

According to research, wild dogs in nature had been domesticated by Vietnamese inhabitants for about 6000 years.

And they play an important role in Vietnamese cultural, spiritual and daily lives.

Among them, 4 rare breeds with outstanding qualities are considered "national dogs"

They are Bac Ha dogs, Lai dogs (Indochina dingo), H'mong bobtail dogs and Phu Quoc dogs.

Bac Ha dogs are native hounds mainly living in Bac Ha, Lao Cai province.

They are typically fuzzy, tall. Some even have manes.

They have a variety of fur colors such as black, orange,

brindle, gray or black and white, some even are reddish.

Bac Ha dogs are clever, easy to be trained and organized.

Lai dogs (Indochina dingo) belong to a primitive breed.

Can be found in the midland and mountainous areas of Vietnam.

Typical ones usually are in orange and black fur.

Purebred dogs are white at legs like they're wearing socks, their tails are fuzzy and white at the end

They are quite clever and cruel. Ethnic inhabitants raise them as housekeepers or hounds.

H'mong bobtail dogs belong to an ancient native breed of an ethnic group called H'mong

in mountainous areas of northern Vietnam.

They have typical appearances of healthy, muscular bodies

With funny docked tails.

They have durable physical strengths

and can flexibly adapt to different conditions.

Because of their outstanding characteristics, they are selected to be trained as working dogs by Vietnam-Russia tropical center

Phu Quoc dogs have been well known as good hounds for hundreds of years.

They originate in Phu Quoc Island, Kien Giang province.

They are easily distinguished from other breeds

By cowlicks, short and glossy fur, and webbed feet.

Some of their advantages are good physical strength

fast and flexible movements, abilities of climbing, jumping, swimming and co-operating in packs

These characteristics make Phu Quoc dogs become very powerful assistants for the hunters.

HOW USA PLANS TO DEFEAT RUSSIAN & CHINESE STEALTH FIGHTERS? : TOP 5 FACTS - Duration: 5:22.

Unlike a decade ago, United States is no longer the sole designer of stealth fighters. Russia

and China has taken concrete steps in this direction.

Chinese Chengdu J-20 has some stealth features, and Shenyang J-31 has been designed from grounds

up keeping in mind stealth characteristics. Russian PAK F A is considered to be most potent

competitor against F 35 and F 22 Raptor. The aircraft will be the first operational aircraft

in Russian service to use stealth technology.

On the other side of the table, the Russian S 400 and upcoming S 500 Air Defense System

is known to have radars cable of detecting stealthy aircrafts.

In this video, Defense Updates provides viewers with an insight on how USA intends to nullify

the Russian and Chinese stealth technology.

It is the physics of longer wavelength and resonance that enables Very High Frequency

(VHF) and Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radar to detect stealth aircraft.

UHF-band radars operate at frequencies between 300MHz and 1GHz, which results in wavelengths

that are between 10 centimeters and one meter long. Typically, due to the physical characteristics

of fighter-sized stealth aircraft, they must be optimized to defeat higher frequencies

in the K a, K u, X, C and parts of the S-bands. There is a resonance effect that occurs when

a feature on an aircraft—such as a tail-fin tip— is less than eight times the size of

a particular frequency wavelength. That omnidirectional resonance effect produces a "step change"

in an aircraft's radar cross-section. Effectively what that means is that small

stealth aircraft that do not have the size or weight allowances for two feet or more

of radar absorbent material coatings on every surface, are forced to make trades as to which

frequency bands they are optimized for.

Till now VHF & UHF radars could not generate a "weapons quality" track—or in other

words, are unable to guide a missile onto a target. Poor resolution in angle and range,

has historically prevented these radars from providing accurate targeting and fire control.

However, electronic scanning and new signal

processing techniques have mitigated those shortcomings to an extent. And there are other

techniques in development, such as linking multiple low-frequency radars via high-speed

datalinks, which is enabling those radars to generate weapons quality tracks.

The Lockheed Martin E-2D Advanced Hawkeye's central feature is the APY-9 UHF-band radar.

The radar is powerful hybrid mechanical/electronically scanned UHF-band sensor.

The radar will be able to tie into the U.S. Navy's state-of-the-art Naval Integrated

Fire Control—Counter Air (NIFC-CA) battle network and will operate in two ways:

1. From the Air: APY-9 radar would act as a sensor to cue Raytheon Aim 1 2 0 air-to-air

missiles for Boeing F 18 Super Hornets and F 35 fighters via datalink.

2. From the Sea: The APY-9 would also act as a sensor to guide Raytheon Standard SM-6

missiles launched from Aegis cruisers and destroyers against targets.

In fact, the US Navy has demonstrated missile shots using the E-2D's radar to guide SM-6

missiles against over-the-horizon targets—which by definition means the APY-9 is generating

a weapons quality track.

The technology would be able to detect aircrafts like the Chengdu J-20, Shenyang J-31, Sukhoi

PAK-F A, and indeed the United States' own Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor and tri-service

F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Only very large stealth aircraft without protruding surfaces

— like the Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit or the forthcoming Long Range Strike-Bomber — will

be able to defeat this radar. USA having been in the forefront of stealth technology implementation,

is continuing to work towards maintaining an edge over its rivals in this technology.
