November Favorites! ♡ Beauty, Fashion, and Lifestyle! - Duration: 5:34.

hello dear friend it is your good old pal hollyann

the month of November is almost over so you know what that means it is that time

again for me to show you all the stuff that I really really really liked this

month not gonna lie to y'all I still am a little frazzled because when I went to

park to work out this morning when I was walking home there was just smoke pluming

out from what appeared to be my apartment complex and I was like oh my

god my Apartments on fire oh my god my cat but now everything is okay I have no

idea what happened but yeah everything's fine

before I do actually share all my favorites with you, I must say if you're new

to my channel hello welcome don't forget to subscribe because I post new videos

every week and I would love for you to see them all as always don't forget to

give this video a thumbs up share if you enjoy and leave a nice comment in the

comment section down below we're gonna start off with beauty favorites because

um hello I love makeup as you can tell by how poorly I put it on

didn't really try any new products this month because I'm yo girl going through

a hard time right now so I don't got that much money the first thing I used a

lot this month is the saint and sinner palette by Kat Von D freakin love this

palette it is so good for creating not only like natural looks that I can wear

to work and not get yelled at but also like bright hooker looks like all that

sparkle my lid that is from this palette it is the shade rapture and it's from

the sinner side it's very pretty, I love the sparkles the next eyeshadow that we have is the good

old-fashioned Urban Decay electric palette even though this thing is

literally 200 freaking years old I still use this thing a lot even though

urban decay doesn't really blend very well this I can fake they look a

blending by only applying it in my crease and like blending for like

literally 20 minutes and then using like a strong highlighting color to like

blend that together in with it so I can like kind of create the look that it's

blended but I use the hot pink shade in my crease and yeah I know you're not

supposed to use color so that your crease but you know I you come mi culo

because me gusta my next favorite makeup product is this this is the moon dust

palette and I'm holding upside down how professional didn't really use it often when I first got it

for whatever reason probably cuz I was sad and stuff but lately I've just been

really into sparkles because sparkles lighten the mood and distract myself

from the fact about the sunsets at like 4:30 now and I hate that I've been

really into like lining my undereyes with colors from this palette because I

am the gay king of sparkles and it's really pretty I use the shade element

which on me especially on camera looks really similar to the one rapture shade

from the kat von d palette but it's really not and I also use Spectre in my

like middle part but can you even see that oh I don't know I don't know you

can see on camera I'm not the camera my next favourites are going to be fashion

favorites in my first fashion favorite I have is this beautiful yellow sweater

with little ribbons on the sleeves and it's really nice and really more and I

got it from zafual hashtag not sponsored hashtag please subscribe to my

channel so then one day they will sponsor because I generally like their

clothes but yeah this is a really cute it's very warm very big very oversized I

wear it all the time I love it and I just took it off the hanger I'm so sorry

I should make Israel wear this next time he asks me to bring a sweatshirt because

we wear the same size clothes and he's always a dick dick to me when I wear the

sweater sweater thing I look like a super mom like I aint no suburban mom BETCH I

have high sex appeal the next thing I have is my quote off quote fancy denim

shirt from the gap that's actually quite dirty right now because I've worn it

quite a few times and I keep on forgettin to do my laundry because I'm having no

time anyway yes I love this shirt because even though it's a little big

because I got it before I explanted my boobies I like layering over shirts

because it makes me feel a little bit more warm and it makes you look so like

hipster chic cool and more like put together versus just you know wearing

like 27 homeless man coats the next.. does this count as fashion or like

technology I don't even know cuz I'm wearing it so fashion I've been a little

lazy gayboy lately it just like literally glued to my bed

editing videos and watching videos and thinking of videos just you know sitting

around videos the only thing idon't like about this though is the fact that

it like goes like that it's just a small design error I

not like too concerned about it because I doubt it's gonna fall off because the

snaps on pretty good but yeah still me gusta it makes me motivated to move my

carcass more next is mi musica my favorites for the month one thing I've

really been listening to is Tegan and Sara's the cin album because they are

doing the ten year tour thing and I was like oh my god I remember that album

when I was like 13 so I started listening to it and reconnecting with my

fetus self and I love that album I also been listening to this band called

jaws a lot which is like a no-name hipster band but yeah I love that kind

of music yeh trying to think of anything else I

enjoyed for the month because literally I've been doing like nothing but editing

or thinking of ideas or anything like nothing or looking houses I've been

really boring this month and yeah that's about it sorry I'm boring yay thank you

so much for watching if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give it a thumbs

up subscribe to my channel if you aren't subscribed already share this video if

you liked it YAY and leave a nice comment in the comment section I love you so much

and I will see you next time bye

Why Do Some Animals Get Gigantic? - Duration: 3:10.

Hi, this is Kate from MinuteEarth.

Animals come in all different sizes, but usually, over evolutionary time, each type of animal

stays roughly the same size.

Every once in awhile, though, something crazy happens that allows an animal to get truly

gigantic.

Take insects and other arthropods, which have tiny bodies in part because they breathe by

sponging up air through their exoskeletons, and the available oxygen can only diffuse

so far before getting used up - if they had bigger bodies, oxygen wouldn't reach far

enough inside.

But about 300 million years ago, Earth's atmospheric oxygen levels spiked.

With more oxygen in the air, arthropods' bodies could grow way bigger, leading to mega-bugs

like a dragonfly the size of an eagle and a millepede the size of a two-person kayak.

Dinosaurs, on the other hand, got pretty darned big without any outside help – but at some

point they hit a limit due to the so-called square cube law: body strength is based on

the cross-sectional area of bones and muscles, but weight is based on volume.

And just like doubling the height of a cube causes its cross-sectional area to get four

times larger but its volume to get eight times larger, when an animal gets bigger, it does

get stronger but it gets waaaay heavier.

Fossil evidence suggests that dinos were nearing the size at which they could no longer lug

around their own bodies when they stumbled upon an evolutionary breakthrough: a system

of air pockets and air sacs throughout their skeletons that allowed them to get bigger

without getting heavier - and have incredibly long - but light - necks, which granted them

access to a huge bounty of leaves.

Eventually, though, a group of land animals got around the square-cube problem altogether

by climbing back into the water, which buoyed their weight.

And since they took their lungs with them into the water, they could breathe oxygen-rich

air, rather than being stuck with oxygen-poor water, allowing these mammals to grow almost

twice as big as the biggest fish.

But these giant creatures just didn't have enough food to get any giant-er than that.

Then, a few million years ago, changing ocean currents brought tons of nutrients up from

the depths, which fueled huge, localized phytoplankton blooms, which in turn attracted enormous concentrations

of scrumptious zooplankton.

With this new krillion calorie diet, together with their air-breathing lungs and water-supported

bodies, blue whales quickly tripled in size to become not just gigantic but truly the

largest animals to have ever lived.

And THAT is certainly something to spout about.

Hi this is David.

I wrote this video because my kids kept asking me questions about why some animals get so

big.

To help foster their curiosity about the world, their Nana got them subscriptions to KiwiCo,

which sends them a box of hands-on science, art, and math projects called a KiwiCrate

every month.

I was super-excited when KiwiCo offered to sponsor this video because we love the crates

- and I'm sure your family will too.

Sign up at KiwiCo.com/minuteearth, and they'll give you the first month for free - just in

time for the holidays.

I take responsibility for PDP's failure in 2015 – Goodluck Jonathan

The immediate past President, Goodluck Jonathan has said he should be blamed for the Peoples Democratic Partys loss in 2015.

Jonathan said it was better to take responsibility for the partys defeat to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last presidential election.

The former President said it has become his priority "to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party regains the Presidency in 2019.

He said this when one of the aspirants for the national chairmanship position of the PDP, Chief Olabode George, paid him a courtesy visit in his countryhome in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

The former President said it was his responsibility to ensure that the PDP rose again as a strong political platform to win the next elections.

Jonathan said, "Whether I like it or not, I must take responsibility for the defeat because I led the party to the election.

The only thing that will make me sleep well is to ensure that the PDP comes back to power.

He further explained that he was working with other stakeholders to ensure that the party was well organised to achieve this purpose though he preferred to work from the back seat.

CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES (Thanksday) - Duration: 4:58.

Hey you!

My name is Thomas 'TomSka' Ridgewell and welcome back to Thanksday.

The series where I introduce you to the bitchin bunch behind the scenes The people you can thank or blame for

the continuation of my channels.

Today, I'd like to introduce you to the editors the masochists who sift through hours of raw footage

to produce something vaguely, just slightly watchable

Now naturally, when I was starting out I edited my videos myself

We would film onto mini-DV tapes, log and transfer them into whatever editing

software came with my computer, and hack up the footage myself.

Big up to Steve, my media studies teacher, for schooling me in the ways of Final Cut 7.

I never bothered to learn anything else and I probably never will.

I didn't give up editorial control over my videos for a long time partly because when

you have a specific vision in your head, it feels like only you can make that a reality.

If you're gonna put creative decisions in someone else's hands, you need them to share that vision.

Editors control the pacing of a scene which is a huge part of comedy and usually have

the first say in which takes make it into the timeline which can completely change the

tone of a piece.

Basically It's all about trust.

However, the real reason I stopped editing my own videos wasn't just because I found

someone I trusted or because I got lazy.

It was because my heart broke.

The last video in my 5 year self-editing streak was Musical Suicide which came out January 2012

Because in March 2012 I lost someone very special and after that I just…

Didn't care anymore.

I lost the drive and self-confidence needed to put together a video and say "yes, this

is good, people will want to watch this".

Hell, I couldn't even edit the eulogy video for the funeral and had to ask my girlfriend

at the time to do it for me.

But luckily I had made a friend at university who was a fellow YouTuber with a great sense

of comedic timing and plenty of self-confidence.

His name was Jack Howard.

He was also crashing on my couch so often that whenever I filmed a new sketch he was there to edit it.

Before long, Jack and I sealed the deal and moved in together.

He edited pretty much every video of mine for 2 years, directed and co-directed a bunch

of sketches, and even shot and edited a few vlogs.

However, as time went on and careers progressed, Jack got busier (and more expensive) and it

came time to part ways as creative collaborators.

We ended on one hell of a video though.

During my partnership with Jack and especially towards the end of our time together I played

the field with a few other friends in the hopes of finding that same spark.

Chloe Dungate, Jamie Spicer-Lewis, Ciaran O'Brien, Sammy Paul, Daniel J Layton, Tim Hautekiet,

and even myself sometimes.

Damn, I'm slutty.

It wasn't until another University of Lincoln student began crashing on my couch that I

found my new boo.

In early 2014, a babyfaced Elliot Gough had come down to London for an interview and while

he was at my placed asked if I needed anything done.

I told him I needed a new channel background and within a few hours he'd made one.

The next day I gave him some raw footage and by the time I got home he'd edited Stupid

Soldiers almost to completion.

But then he went back to Lincoln…

But then he moved to London!

He shot and edited a series of behind-the-scenes game development vlogs for me and I offered

him a full time job shortly after.

We moved into this very office and TurboPunch Ltd came to life. YAY!

Since then Elliot has edited every single sketch; compiled every cartoon; shot and edited

almost every vlog; and even done a fair bit of graphic, web, and sound design.

And I've never cheated on him once.

*screaming and crying*

Elliot, no!

If I had to pick out one criticism for my time with Elliot, it would be that he's

just too handsome and great at editing and has a fantastic attitude also big pee ness.

Is that good?

Oh, I also need to give a quick shoutout to the colourists for my sketches and vlogs.

Raw footage can look very flat and grey and ugly and it needs an experts touch to really make it pop.

That'd be Ciaran O'Brien for most of my sketches from 2012 to 2017, Max Brill for

a bunch of my 2017 sketches, Sven Brooks for my BBC comedy sketches, and Elliot Gough for

all my direct-to-camera vlogs like this one. Woooow! Editing!

I remember when I used to grade my own sketches and...

Everything was so orange and blue at the same time!

So!

I owe a huge thank you to all the people I just mentioned.

Without them, I don't know if I'd have been able to keep doing this.

Truth be told I still struggle to find any confidence in my work until the video is completely finished.

If it were still up to me, I'd look at the raw footage, sigh heavily, and scrap every

video before it even reached the timeline so…

Thank you all so much.

TomSka out.
