Youtube daily report Jan 2 2018

A real little SuperBike comes for the Indian market, but the TVS Apache RR 310 could also

be interesting for Europe.

SuperBike and small engine need not be a contradiction,

because it depends on the overall package what the character of a machine is.

In some countries, large engines may only be driven with a special driver's license

or are simply priceless.

However, a sporty driving style still has its legitimacy and therefore there are also

the small SuperBikes, which can turn circles around the 1000cc with the right driver.

Such a machine could be the TVS Apache RR 310, which was developed in collaboration

with BMW.

The centerpiece is the BMW single-cylinder engine of the G 310 R with 34 hp.

The chassis is already known from the G 310 R or the GS.

The upside-down fork and strut come from KYB.

The brakes are from ByBre which belong to Brembo.

A two-channel ABS is available.

What the little SuperBike really can do is still open, but it might even be possible

for it to make it onto the European market - then as the BMW G 310 RR.

What do you all mean?

Everything to read, all data and a detailed picture gallery can be found on Motorcycles.News

China's WEIRDEST 3D Printer? JGAurora A7 Unboxing & Review - Duration: 23:43.

Hello everyone! Today I have another huge printer.

Actually I prefer small printers but companies they seem to like to send me big printers.

This printer is sent by a local Shenzhen company is called JGAurora.

R and L is kind of my enemy. I think I will practice more but there's that.

There are very few JGAurora printer reviews on Youtube.

So let's open it. I am curious what this looks like and what it can do.

So let's open it and take a look.

Ok I guess it's time for me to call some helper elves to move this for me. Be right back.

Good work, elves. Thank you and see you later.

So let's see what we've got. We have a3D printer tool box.

In the tool box we have the warrenty, the plastic cutter, spatula and the power cable.

We also have the 3D printer filament and the last thing is blue tape.

So let's put that aside.

So this is the printer. Let me move the front to the camera so that you can see.

I should probably have asked the elves to stay a little bit longer, before I finish the...

I can do it.

Let's take off the plastic.

The built plate was hidden underneath the foam.

The built plate is not PEI, BuildTak or polycarbonate. It's good old blue tape.

Sometimes I still use blue tape but in this case is quite odd but let's give it a try, let's see.

At the back we have four magnets at each corner. I guess you can just clip it on. Let's take a look.

Yeah, it snaps right on. That's great. If you want you can order another built plate online to swap it out.

When you finish this one you can use another one. It's quite nice, I like the design.

Now let's plug it in and take a look at their interface.

So let me set it to English first, now it is in Chinese.

Click Setting.

Switch to English interface? Confirmed.

And then it will restart. So I switched it to English.

The font is kind of off. But now let's level it first. Leveling.

So the interesting thing is it's a H-Bot gantry style and it has linear rails.

I guess X and Y, I don't know about Z axis.

The strange thing is the filament tube goes into the drag chain. I've never seen anything like this.

But it's two things out of three so I guess it is good.

So the leveling is finished. Let's see what other options we have. They have a spool filament holder.

Elevator? Let's see.

So far I've learned this is probably a direct drive style and the filament goes through the drag chain.

There is a weird angle. The filament has to go all the way into the drag chain. It has the angle like you know.

So let's open the filament elevator and see what it is.

So it's actually the Bowden style not a direct drive? What?

So the filament goes through the hole on this side and then go all the way back in.

If it jams, what will happen? I don't know.

As you can see this is not a normal size spool.

I don't know how it's going to handle the normal size. So I am going to test it out for you guys later.

But for now let's try this out.

What just happened?

I think the spool holders weight pressed it down by itself. I didn't do anything.

I didn't even press the filament elevator button. And there is a strand of filament hanging out.

So I was looking at the instructions on the top. I was a little too short for that. So I missed it.

It looks like it doesn't need to go through the hole just the direction is wrong.

Let's do it a third time.

Okay I was talking with the company about the issue I was having.

Then I tried a couple more times. I played around with it and I finally figured out how it works.

So let me show you how to put in the filament.

It still needs to go through the hole first.

But this time we don't need to push it all the way in, we just push it in a little bit.

Click in Filament.

So now the Bowden driver is pushing the filament through the tube.

And now is slowly feeding it through to the hotend. Let's see.

The filament comes out smoothly.

As for pushing the filament out of the extruder. This is how it works.

So now it is coming out.

It just come out like that.

So I didn't have to manually grab it and then pull it out.

I didn't know about that. So before I tried a couple of times and failed.

Now it works. And the system works well.

It was just poorly documented.

Okay let me show you the hotend now.

So from here you can see there are actually two motors controlling it.

There is the Bowden drive motor to push the filament through.

And then the direct drive to pull on it. If you are new to 3D printers. It's quite unusual for a 3D Printer.

But I think this system works ok.

And if you have a jam, it's easy to just pop it off because it has magnets.

Then after you take the jam out, you just put it right back.

Ok for the bed leveling it is really interesting.

Usually people do software leveling. But this printer does hardware leveling.

So I am going to tilt the bed a little bit.

And there is an induction sensor and three Z motors.

It can do real hardware auto-leveling. So let me show you.

So now we go back and we hit leveling.

You see now the bed is all leveled again.

So now I am just going to open the JGAurora slicer.

And as you can see they just reskinned the Cura program.

The good news though you can just copy their settings and drop it to other platforms like Linux or Mac or whatever.

Right now I am going to open my STL file. 3Dbenchy.

Here's our Benchy Boat.

I'm not going to change any of the default settings.

But I'm going to add the raft to the Benchy Boat.

Let's start to print it at 0.2mm and see how it goes.

Okay now let's try 0.1mm and no raft. Without the raft.

Okay now let's try something a little bit more difficult.

So I've got some test prints here. Here are some Benchy Boats.

And this cube was created by Angus aka. Maker Muse. Hey, Angus!

This is a really good test print and it gives the printer a really good work out.

Let's switch to this camera.

This benchyboat I printed it at 0.2mm.

It has a raft. Because I was having adhesion problems with it.

But the resolution I think it is pretty nice, I can feel it with my finger.

Other than that really no complaints. Let's compare it with the 0.1mm.

I printed this at 0.1mm and the resolution is a bit better.

But same problem with the blue tape they just stick to the bottom.

This one is also printed at 0.1mm but this one was printed with the (FlashForge) Guider II.

I have been using it for a while. The print quality compared to A7, I would say the A7 is a bit better.

And this is the torture test print.

So the same problem at the bottom, the blue tape. But it's print quality I am satisfied with it.

So let's give it a closer look at the microscope.

So this is the 0.2mm from A7.

The layer line it looks clean and there are no major flaws.

Let's compare it with the 0.1mm also printed out from the A7.

The layer line is even finer here.

It feels very smooth and let's take a look at the 0.1mm printed out from Guider II.

It is a decent print I would say. Guider II is a workhorse.

But the print quality, as you can see the details are not as smooth as the A7.

But Guider II is very reliable and I didn't have any major problem while I was printing the Benchy Boat.

It's just the layer lines quality is not as good as A7.

So as you can see the A7 print quality is great.

I would say it is better than any other FDM 3D printer I have reviewed.

And the H-Bot gantry the movement is fast and reliable.

It has the 3-point leveling. So basically it is hardware levelling. It levels in the hardware.

I think a lot of other companies are going to copy this feature.

Because when you hit level, it just automatically level itself in the hardware.

But that doesn't mean it doesn't comes with other serious problems.

So there are other cons I am going to illustrate.

Remember the drawer I didn't figure out the first time.

I am still using their filament. It's not like they have a chip inside or they have a proprietary system.

No, but they have an unusual size of spool.

And the size of the wheels (spools) is different from the one I usually use.

The normal size one I usually use is like this. It is a bit thicker, and the JGAurora one is thinner.

Like this, this one is thinner. So this drawer only fits their own filament.

So why is that a problem?

Why can't you just keep the drawer up? Well, you can't.

See?

So if I'm putting a thicker a larger spool inside. It will automatically go down and make noise like.

And then it will jam. And once it is all sealed up there is no way to feed in the filament.

So that is a really big problem if I have to only use their filament.

Or use other filament the same size made by other companies.

So next is the bed levelling.

Right now there is no power going through the stepper motors. That's why I can move the bed freely.

And whenever I am taking the hot plate off the bed, it unlevels a little bit.

If that's the case you have to relevel it every time. You have go to Levelling.

It only takes a couple of seconds it will relevel itself.

I know it is a bit annoying. But I don't think it is a really big deal. It can be easily fixed.

Just keep the stepper motor's power on.

Obviously from the interface you can see there are some English mistakes.

It looks kind of unprofessional. But it is not the end of the world it is still readable.

I hope they will fix it in the future. But what really bothers me is when you click inside there is a Wifi icon.

When you click on it nothing happens.

It doesn't really have Wifi. I spoke to the company they said they planned to add on this feature later.

But right now they are advertising it and selling it as if they have this function.

But truth is they don't have it.

So there are three major problems filament loading, needing to relevel the bed in between prints and Wifi.

But those are just firmware problems just patch it.

It's not that simple, I talked to the factory.

They said I had to ship it back so that they can physically take it apart and then flash the firmware to update it.

It's not a joke I was like why can't I just plug in the usb cable and update it like every other printers?

It's not like that. I asked them many times.

And they said I have to ship it back. And I don't think it's fun for you guys to ship a 20kg 3d printer back to China

just for flashing the firmware.

So that's a big problem but I am giving them a couple of weeks to sort out the problem.

They said they were going to work on it so let's give them a chance.

Because it's a very interesting 3d printer, I don't want to just let it go.

And it's coming from China. It is innovative, it's wonderful and terrible just like the drawer.

But if they confirm that they can not fix it

well you and I, we are going to work it out. We are going to hack it and we are going to fix the problem.

But right now just sit tight and wait on it.

This won't be my last video on A7.

And remember if I can do it, anyone can do it. Thanks a lot for watching.

6 Signs and Symptoms of Psychological Trauma - Duration: 4:17.

6 Signs and Symptoms of Psychological Trauma

1.

Shock, Denial or Disbelief

Shock, denial or disbelief are among the most common responses to psychological trauma and

often occur immediately following the event.

Those affected may seem shaken and suddenly confused about their surroundings.

If they are spoken to, they may struggle to respond and can seem lost in themselves while

engaging in conversation.

Once these initial symptoms subside, the person may become numb or emotionally distant when

asked to discuss the traumatic event, or try to avoid the topic altogether.

This disconnection is a method of coping with the trauma and an indication that the person

is in need of help.

2.

Aggression

Those who've suffered psychological trauma will often experience aggression.

In some cases, it may be anger toward themselves as a result of guilt, shame or personal blame

surrounding the event that has affected them.

In other cases, such feelings can cause the person to experience bursts of aggressive

behavior toward those around them.

In addition to aggression, the affected individual may display related symptoms of psychological

trauma such as irritability and frequent mood swings.

While it may be tempting to react to such behavior, Reconnect Integrative Trauma Treatment

Centers says it's "important to recognize that this person is not to blame," as their

outbursts are often "a cry for help."

3.

Issues Sleeping

After experiencing a traumatic event, a person may experience disruptions in their regular

sleeping patterns.

These can include insomnia—difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep—nightmares or night

terrors, sometimes of the event itself.

If experienced on a regular basis, inadequate or poor rest may cause feelings of exhaustion

and fatigue that can contribute to confusion or difficulty concentrating.

4.

Anxiety

Experiencing psychological trauma often causes people to develop anxiety.

It may be brought on by thoughts or visual images of the event that occur out of the

blue, and can lead to overwhelming fear and panic attacks.

To prevent such reactions, the affected individual may actively avoid any activities or places

that bring about memories of the event.

Cascade Behavioral Health says this anxiety may also cause the extreme alertness, where

the affected individual is "always on the lookout for warnings of potential danger."

5.

Dissociation

Dissociation, the detachment of emotions from events, is another common sign of psychological

trauma.

Over the past few decades MRI and CT scans have revealed that this occurs because trauma

can alter the brain both structurally and functionally.

These changes in the brain can cause memory loss, as well as disconnection or withdrawal

from others.

Such social isolation can in turn contribute to feelings of sadness, hopelessness and depression.

6.

Physical Concerns

While many of the signs of psychological trauma are emotional or behavioral, such an experience

can also have physical symptoms.

Complaints of aches and pains are common, as is muscle tension.

The affected individual may also be quite edgy and agitated, causing them to startle

easily.

Along with these symptoms, the person may develop tachycardia, a disorder in which the

heart beats faster than normal while at rest.

Wet on Wet Oil Painting for Beginners - Starter Painting - Duration: 13:18.

are you guys looking to start your painting adventure and you just got a

new kit for the holidays and you're ready to dive into those oil paints I'm

gonna show you in this really quick paint along where to start it's perfect

for beginners and for kids out there so let's take a look hey guys Wild4Games

coming at you from my creative control playlist where I bring you the

best tips tricks, tutorials, and even paint-alongs like this one right here

that we're gonna do I've been getting a lot of messages from kids and beginners

about what's the easiest and best way to get into wet on wet painting a lot of

people are scared of doing mountains or trees or clouds and things like that and

I completely get it when you get your kit it basically teach you how to do a

painting from beginning to end and encapsulate a lot of things and it can

kind of deter you from doing that and I don't want to do that I want to make

sure you guys have a nice easy painting so you get a lot of boosted confidence

so you keep tackling it over and over and we're gonna do that right here right

now I'm gonna show you how to paint on a little baby canvas here but feel free to

use whatever canvas size you want I just have this because I think this would

look great in a bathroom or a hallway all we're gonna do is just a basic sky

and a couple of rolling hills and you're gonna nail the basics but please excuse

my room here I'm rearranging things so that way I can have a better streaming

setup coming up in the new year here so let's go over to our canvas and our

palette and let's show you what we're gonna need to actually accomplish this

painting okay let's talk about the colors that we're gonna need you're

gonna need some cadmium yellow some alizarin crimson some Van Dyck Brown any

shade of black that you have and white and to start off our painting we're

actually gonna start mixing two colors right off the bat we're gonna take a

little bit of our red and we're gonna take a little bit of our brown and

that's gonna be our mid-tone color and then we're gonna do the same thing with

a little bit of red and a little bit of brown and a little bit of white and

there we go alright so for this painting the tools that you're gonna require are

a one-inch brush a two-inch brush a number three fan brush and at the end

if you may or may not want to put some snow on a palette knife to start with

our painting we're gonna add a little bit of a yellow accent and we're gonna

start from the very center of our painting and work all the way out and

yes we're gonna work out all of the canvas which you normally wouldn't do

you would normally does gain designate where you want your horizon line and

kind of stop around there but we're doing something a little different since

it's a small canvas all I need is a little bit of cadmium yellow on the

corner of my brush you can see I just have it right there my canvas is already

liquid white ready and wet and good to go

can see right there on the ends of my fingers that I'm already good so we're

gonna start spreading out our color it's gonna do a little bit of zigzag and new

motions here so wherever your first stroke is is where you dedicate the

light source and I'm just gonna start working out

and that's it and now I'm gonna keep this same dirty brush and work into my

red just dab it right in mix it on the brush and make sure you don't mix it too

thoroughly because we want different strikes of orange and red to come in on

here and we're gonna work at the corners and work our way in

but don't eliminate all of the yellow or all the white to do that make sure you

kind of outline what you're doing there and same strokes

I want a little bit of a darker side over here so I'm gonna take a little

more red and just cross it in I'm just gonna pigment it up a little bit and the

same thing in this corner who's gonna add a little more red from here I'm

gonna take my almighty 2 inch brush and I'm gonna blend in all of my colors I'm

first gonna start up all of my yellows blend my yellows into my Reds and I'm

gonna work from my Reds all the way out so make sure you start your yellows if

you don't start at the yelling you start with the red your Reds gonna take over

your yellow really fast and everything she's gonna become of like an orange and

you're gonna lose that beautiful color so just blend this down and in see how

that beautiful yellow is nice and soft now now we can work all the red into the

orange and then straight into the dark Reds as we go so let's just go down here

and blend and all I'm doing is there's literally cross strokes there we go and

then any excess color that I have on the paintbrush you can easily just tap out

on a paper towel just like this work out all that excess color and then we can go

down here and put some finishing touches and go all the way across

and any part you don't like just slowly just bait them into the background there

and there we've got a beautiful little like Arizona sunset desert now we're

gonna put in our first rolling hills and to do that we're gonna use our number-3

fan brush and we're gonna go into that first kind of lighter mo color that we

first created on our pallet so make sure you load up that fan brush there on both

sides and we're basically painting only with the corners there to create a nice

outline edge for our rolling hills so it's up to you as the artist to decide

what side you'd like your Hills to start on and how much definition they want to

have since these are gonna be way way way back in the distance don't give them

really high peaks kind of make them rolling and they're not gonna have a lot

of definition so make sure you don't spend too much time in thinking about

how to put peaks and valleys just kind of go with it

when you have the basic outline just start pulling color down ever so

slightly we want to make our next mountain hill is going to go around here

so wanna make sure we have enough to separation between where the color fades

and the colors that we have behind on our base poked through because it's

gonna add beautiful little shines coming through our Hill when you've got your

color all laid out use your fan brush and use all the bristles the corner and

the flat sides to start shaping in in my mind my highlights are from my right

being right-handed makes a lot easier so start forming your Hills by adding a

little bit of use into them and these and that's what creates a little bit of

Peaks that pops through now we're going to take a clean 1 inch brush and

normally you would take your brush and pull down the residual color but I like

the shading that I have here so the purpose of a 1 inch brush that we're

gonna use is we're gonna use all of these bristles here to pull down and

fluff out the bottom base of our mountain only and it's gonna help shape

so following this follow in the direction of your mountain a wants to

curl and curve down into and this is what's going to give it a lot of body

and then when you're done you can brush the bottom base of this or even give it

a little bit of a tap so you can create more of a mist of diffusion anything

like that create separation if you have too much color

I recommend tapping and fluffing up just a little bit and since this is a

background mound it doesn't need to have a lot of detail or anything like that it

is so far awake we can just barely see it off the edge now if there's same

dirty brush here we're gonna go into that medium brown color that we made

earlier so make sure you load up the fan brush just like we did before but use

that medium color and remember as things get closer to us they get darker also

you want to make sure you add contrast between your layers that way it creates

depth within your painting so we just repeat the same step except all we're

gonna do is use our fan brush here and we want to make sure we don't leave a

big gap between our first row of mountains in our second so make sure

that you kind of cross over a certain pass but don't over exert how much

pressure you put because you don't have big blobs that show out from your fan

brush here because it slowed with a lot of paint so again remember to paint with

just the corner of your fan brush

and as you can see we left some spots here where the Sun shines through on the

backside and that's what creates the illusion of depth for our painting here

take the fan brush you are just using go ahead and give it a nice clean off and

make sure you take it through a paper towel and we're going to start shaping

in our mountains now to give a good lay of the land

now if you wanted to you can leave your mouths just like how they are they like

beautiful and gorgeous and they have some shape but if you want to add a

little more of a definition to them or give them more of a 3d pop what we can

do is we can put a little bit of white on this side and a little bit of dark

color on this side so all I need to do is just use a little bit of white and a

shadow color so let's go ahead and do that so here I've got just a little bit

of white on my paintbrush and I'm gonna be again using the corners of my brush

and it's adding in and squiggling it a little bit of highlights on certain

sides now again these are distant mountains so I don't put too much

definition into them

when you got your Hill the way you like it let's put a little bit of a shadow

side on there just to make things extra pop just take the color that we were to

use and we're gonna lightly scribble it in and spots where you think it can be

use a little bit of like a crevasse or a nice little rocky shadowy spot

when you got your colored late in where you liked it again clean off your fan

brush and just fade in and feather out parts you don't like or blend them in

however you like like down here I've got a little too many hard streaks so I'm

just gonna blend it in just very very lightly but I want to keep those dark

shadow spots all right last step is we're gonna put a

silhouetted mountain out here in front and to do that we're just gonna use

straight black so load up that fan brush nice and thick with all that black and

think about how you want to put your piece now now that we're pretty close

you can start adding higher peaks and lower valleys as we go through so you

can even cover up some of the painting that we've already created here

now you have two choices here you can use the same technique that we used on

the mid-ground mountains and kind of start shading in certain points or you

can even make these mountains a little bit smaller

and you look fine it looks like you just have like a silhouetted out mountain on

the foreground there you could have a little bit of Hills here with some white

and leave the other side dark and it looks great but if you're feeling up to

it you can grab your pallet knife and we can start to add a little bit of snow in

here just for fun and I kind of recommend that because that's gonna be a

fun way to start doing this painting if you guys having a chance to see how to

do snow in a mountain make sure you check out my other video I'll put a link

in the top right hand corner there for you but let's just add a little bit of

detail here for fun and I'll probably speed up the video just a little bit for

Nostradamus 2018 predictions World War 3 and disaster BUT survivors could live to 200 - Duration: 7:15.

Nostradamus 2018 predictions World War three and disaster, but survivors could live with 200

Nostradamus predictions for 2018 f-free told one of the worst years in global history with a string of natural

Disasters the fall of the economy and the start of World War three

French prophet Nostradamus is believed by some to have accurately predicted the rise of Napoleon and Hitler and the 9/11 Twin Towers attacks

many researchers of the infamous profit who died in

1566 are also convinced he has correctly foretold the current barbaric acts being committed by Isis in the Middle East including its bid to capture

Areas of Europe to fulfill its Caliphate now people are looking at what his writings could foretell about

2018

Alessandro Bruno wrote on Lombard a letter calm the Nostradamus predictions for

2018 or dire as they include what might become World War 3 the Nostradamus

Ww3 predictions have gained traction because so many people feel helpless

They sense that the world is beyond their control, and they feel that difficult times are ahead

Beyond the individual Nostradamus future predictions

2018 there is a common theme

Negative energy will intensify and accelerate with unprecedented intensity and speed world war 3 News has become current again

That s because most people are ignoring the fact that Russia and the United States have resumed a level of tension not seen since almost

Instead of diffusing it senators and congressional representatives in Washington are fueling the risks one

World war three the most chilling prediction for 2018 is from Nostradamus

Book les properties it includes a train that some have interpreted as describing the start of the third world war

Nostradamus said the big war will start in France and all Europe will be attacked it will be long and

Terrifying for everyone and then finally there will be peace

But only a few will enjoy it a war will start between the two great world powers and it will last for a period of

27 years some commentators have predicted China, Russia and North Korea will unite to take on the u.s.

two major eruption of Mount Vesuvius the Italian volcano will shake the earth every five minutes

At least 6000 people will be killed according to the prophecy in early

2016 more than 1.5 million people were warned there we're living in the danger zone of the supervolcano

Which it was said could go off anytime causing a global catastrophe

Half of the 3 million people living in Naples were told they live within a new yellow danger zone of the Vesuvius

supervolcano the infamous peak which was responsible for the historic destruction of Pompeii in 79 AD

three

Terrible earthquake Nostradamus appears to have predicted natural disaster across the United States

He wrote an earthquake shall concern particularly the western area of the United States

Its power shall be felt and lands throughout the globe

worryingly the US Geological Survey use

carefully monitors seismic activity in the Cascadia subduction zone where there we're a series of medium tremors in

2016 and two fault lines in California including San Andreas

Scientists say both the California fault lines and the Cascadia subduction zone are long overdue a major earthquake of magnitude 8 or above

They have revealed the Cascadia subduction zone is of most concern

It runs about 60 miles offshore along the Pacific coast from Northern

California to Vancouver Island so major cities including Portland Seattle and Vancouver are within its tsunami range

threatening millions of people and major infrastructure

for

Commodore asteroid strike a major asteroid strike is expected as Nostradamus has been interpreted as saying for

2018 a moment of great violence will coincide with the appearance of a comet in the sky a nuclear terrorism and natural

catastrophes will destroy our planet

While it is accepted an asteroid or comet will one day threaten earth

NASA says it knows of no major one that threatens is for at least 100 years five

Economic collapse Nostradamus said the rich would die many times over

This is taken by many to mean the global economic collapse as a result of ww3 and the effects of many natural disasters

six

Humans will live to be over 200 with so much doom and gloom predicted. This seems as unlikely one however

Nostradamus predicted the advancements of medicine will raise humans life expectancy up to at least 200 years of age

It has been interpreted as meaning towards the end of 2018 an 80 year old person will resemble a 50 year old

Other predictions for 2018 include humans will become able speak to animals people who want to have children will require license or permit

Language differences will disappear wildfires from global warming, but on the plus size there will be an end of taxes in the West

however according to ancient code comm which looks at such prophecies the

Interpretations have to be taken with a pinch of salt as similar ones were made for

2017 it said in an article, but what does Nostradamus say about?

2018

Nostradamus s quatrains described a level of destruction more gruesome than anything he had predicted earlier

according to these reports Nostradamus saw terrible events happening in 2018 although similar things were said about

2017

consider these predictions with caution

But many of these warnings with a few tale changes could certainly apply to the modern world for the skeptics among whom I include myself

There are doubtless some ominous sounding Nostradamus predictions from the past to generate concern

Septics also point out that there have been many earlier interpretations of other Nostradamus quatrains

Which said ww3 would begin around 1999?

This problem with dates has led some Nostradamus researchers to conclude

We are already know Louie

Which somehow started in 1999 and should therefore come to an horrific conclusion probably involving nuclear weapons in

2026 after the 27 years ends

Nostradamus is also claimed by some to have correctly predicted the Twin Towers attacks of 9/11 with the line the year

1999 seven months from the sky will come the great king of terror

Prompting bin Laden's brief holder of the third and - tryst title but it was actually around two years out

septics of Nostradamus pointed out that at least 50% of his premonitions were so way off that even the die-hard researchers leave them alone and

Of the 50% that he is said to have got right there are many that believe the vague terminology used by the French

prophet and so-called

Nostradamus codes need a strong dose of hindsight and imagination to prove the prophecy after the event

One online researcher wrote by using the same techniques as those who find miracles in the Quran or Bible

Researchers have done the exact same thing with Nostradamus to be clear. I don't believe such nonsense

Since all Nostradamus did was write a whole bunch of cryptic things and then let the reader use their

Imagination to interpret verses to suit their own beliefs the verses can only be understood once the event has already happened as hindsight

How Airlines Price Flights - Duration: 11:59.

the link below.

Airline ticket pricing probably seems like a crapshoot.

The numbers change seemingly arbitrarily every week, day, or hour, but there's some real

science behind these prices.

People spend their whole lives figuring out what to charge you to fly.

Let's take a look at one flight on one route by one airline to understand.

American Flight 33 leaves New York's JFK airport every day at 7 AM bound for Los Angeles

arriving at 10:51 AM pacific time.

This transcontinental route is one of the most competitive in the world with over 3.5

million yearly passengers and five major airlines connecting the country's two largest cities.

There's nowhere where pricing strategies are more important for airlines than here.

Looking at three months of fares for this flight, there are eight distinct prices for

economy ranging from $129 to $472.

These all get you on the exact same flight in the exact same seat but each and every

price has a purpose and place.

The lowest price, $129, is the most competitive price.

This fare only shows up three times in our three month span—each time on Tuesdays.

Now, Tuesdays are very often the cheapest days of the week to fly.

Business travelers tend to make up much of the demand during the week and they most often

want to fly out on Monday and return on Thursday or Friday so Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays

tend to be the most expensive travel days while Tuesdays and Wednesdays are often the

cheapest.

The average ticket price for this flight shows this—Tuesdays average $182 and Wednesdays

$173.

Even if the demand is lower American Airlines runs the flight anyways and they have to fill

seats to break even so they sell the flight at rock-bottom prices.

The next price, $144, actually demonstrates a very interesting phenomenon.

Whenever American prices their flight at $144, they are not alone.

Take March 6th for example.

American, Delta, Virgin America, JetBlue, and United all have flights from New York

to LA at around 7 in the morning selling for $144.

They're doing what is called price matching.

Because this is one of the most competitive routes in the world and because the number

one determinant for travelers on which airline they take is price, all five airlines flying

this route match each others prices.

This way, travelers make their decision based off the reputation of each airline rather

than the price.

The price stays at $144 because it's in each airlines best interest to keep it there.

In a normal market, if Delta, for example, dropped their price to $119 they would get

more travelers since they were the cheapest, but in this price matched market all the other

airlines would drop their prices as soon as Delta drops theirs so all of them would get

the same amount of travelers as before while earning less money, but there are some cases

where it can make business sense for airlines to drop prices to below even being profitable.

Around the year 2000, WestJet and the now defunct CanJet airlines started flying from

central Canada to Newfoundland.

These routes were historically operated exclusively by Air Canada and they were expensive.

A one-way flight from Montreal in 1999 cost over $600, but when the budget airlines WestJet

and CanJet started flying the route, prices dropped dramatically and Air Canada was threatened,

so they dropped their prices even lower.

The $600 Air Canada fares then cost $89.

Now, it wouldn't make sense for anyone to fly a budget airline over Air Canada at the

same price so WestJet and CanJet were almost driven out of business on these routes, until

Canada's Competition Bureau stepped in.

They concluded that Air Canada was engaging in the uncompetitive action of predatory pricing

since they were pricing flights below what it cost to operate them, so they were forced

to stop.

Airlines in the US, with some newly strong budget competitors, are engaging in similar

actions nowadays.

United airlines, for example, is matching Frontier's $40 fares on many days from Denver

to Chicago, among other routes, in order to maintain their market stronghold in Denver

and Chicago even though their cost to operate the route is drastically higher than Frontier

so they are almost certainly loosing money on those fares.

But back to the New York to LA route.

$159 is the lowest regular fare for this flight.

The $129 and $144 price points were both basic economy fares—the most restrictive type

with no seat selection, no carry on bags, and no changes or refunds.

Every flight has a bunch of different booking classes each with a fare code.

For example, the basic economy fare code for the $129 and $144 price is B, but the $159

price books into fare code N. These different booking classes are sometimes known are fare

buckets.

Essentially the airline decides it's going to sell a certain number of tickets at the

$159 price with fare code N, let's say 10, then when those ten tickets are sold the airline

then sells economy at fare code G for $204 then when those are sold it sells economy

at fare code V for $269 then fare code L for $318 and so on and so forth.

There are also some cases where a ticket will default to a more expensive fare bucket because

of reasons other than the lower fare selling out.

Many fares, including each mentioned so far, have advance purchase requirements meaning

that, even if a flight is not full at all, the price will increase closer to departure.

All the fares below $204 have an advance purchase requirement of two weeks meaning that you

can only purchase them more than two weeks before departure while the $269 fare, for

example, has an advance purchase requirement of only one week.

Although, the cheapest fare without an advance purchase requirement at all, that is, the

cheapest fare that you could buy day-of for this flight is fare class K at $472 which

happens to be the most expensive economy class fare.

And now for some caveats.

Not every fare for this flight is going to be priced at one of these eight prices.

Airlines have mechanisms to adjust fares from these buckets.

In the short-term, they can adjust things like the fuel surcharge to raise the price

if other factors, like oil prices, increase.

In the long term they can adjust the actual prices of the different fare buckets.

Airline often increase the base fares for busy seasons like summer.

American Airlines does exactly that on this New York to LA route where their fare class

M, for example, increases from $357 to $410 in August.

But so far we've looked at this at a micro level—how prices differ on one flight—but

we also have to consider the macro level.

Why if you leave on Tuesday February 6th and fly 2,469 miles to the west to LA do you pay

$129 while if you fly 3,442 miles to the east to London—only a thousand miles further

than LA—you pay $2,772.

Well, the second figure is a bit deceptive because that's the price of a one-way ticket.

If you switch the LA flight to a round-trip ticket returning a week later it will cost

$257—exactly double—while if you turn the London flight into a round-trip returning

a week later the price will drop to $602—almost five times less.

This is understandably confusing—a one-way ticket that costs more than a roundtrip—but

the reason this is goes back to the fare codes.

Embedded within each fare code are a bunch of little restrictions that dictate when you

can use that fare.

On the New York to LA trip those restrictions are just things like blackout dates for the

fare and advance purchase requirements, but the New York to London ticket has loads more

restrictions and the ones that make one-ways more expensive than round-trips are the minimum

stay requirements.

These requirements dictate how soon your return flight can be in order to get a particular

fare.

The idea is to price discriminate—business travelers should pay more because they can

pay more.

Meanwhile, airlines try to give the lowest prices to leisure travelers since they're

the ones paying for their own tickets and therefore they're the ones that are the

most price sensitive.

Business travelers often want to be home for the weekend, so many of these minimum stay

requirements, like with fares Q, N, and S, just require a Sunday at your destination.

Others, trying to accomplish the same thing, require seven days, a full week, which would

also require a traveller to stay the weekend at their destination.

Now as the prices go up the requirements go down so once you get to paying around $2000

you can stay for as few as three days, but the cheapest roundtrip base airfare with no

stay requirement at all is $5,544 in fare class Y—exactly double the one way price.

So that explains this—the one way ticket is so expensive because, since the airline

doesn't know how long the traveller will stay at their destination the one-way fare

has to be booked into the least restrictive fare class without the minimum stay requirement.

You'll see this idea of price discrimination all over ticketing structures.

It's a genius pricing concept that allows different people to buy products at the prices

they can afford and therefore its allows businesses to sell the same product to more people.

Tickets increase in price closer to departure because leisure travelers buy tickets far-out

and business travelers buy their tickets close to departure and flexible tickets are more

expensive because that's what business travelers need, but there's another pricing difference

going on that's less fair—between routes.

It's all about competition.

Different routes of the same distance cost different amounts generally not because they

cost different amounts to operate, but because of how much the competitors are charging.

This is part of why flights into small airports are so expensive—because they lack competition.

You can fly the 240 miles from Detroit to Pellston, Michigan on a CRJ 200 for $242 or

you can fly the 170 miles from Detroit to South Bend, Indiana on a CRJ 200 for $76.

The only difference is that South Bend Airport has flights from United, Delta, and Allegiant

while Pellston only has flights from Delta.

The same phenomenon happens over the Atlantic.

There's more competition on the six hour flight from New York to LA than on the six

hour flight from New York to Dublin so you can fly to LA for $250 round trip while Dublin

costs $500 round trip.

Of course, travelers from New York to LA can drive, take the bus, take the train, or take

a flight connecting halfway there while travelers to Dublin only have one choice—to fly.

In all, the truth is that prices reflect what people will pay and so people will pay what

flights are priced.

If you're a busy person like me, you know that eating healthy can be difficult.

Halle Berry - RAISING the MIDDLE FINGER | 2017 Farewell (Funny)

Ending the year with a strong message.  Halle Berry had a little help from her middle finger as she bid 2017 adieu with an Instagram message on Sunday, December 31.

"Dear 2017, you can be a good person with a kind spirit and still tell people to go f–k themselves when needed," she captioned a photo of herself sticking her tongue out, with her middle finger — wrapped in rings made of bent nails — up at the camera.

"P/S… thank you middle finger for always standing up for me!".

The Oscar-winning actress has had a rough end to the year. "Done with love," she wrote on Instagram Stories on December 13, over a picture of a black rope laid out in the shape of a heart.

She also included three bicep flex emojis. Halle Berry attends the 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle' World Premiere held at Odeon Leicester Square on September 18, 2017 in London, England. com.

BaekHyun Makes Formal Apology About Controversial Statement(News) - Duration: 2:25.

BaekHyun Makes Formal Apology About Controversial Statement

The recent issue involving BaekHyuns statement about depression triggered frenzy from not just EXO fans but from all K-Pop followers. While its true that BaekHyuns statement might have been misinterpreted by many in an unnecessarily exaggerated manner, his apology shows two things.

First, he is an honorable person with class. Whatever the case may have been, he is clearly being the better man and making an effort to put an end to this wildfire that is causing chaos online at the moment.

Second, he seems to realize that the choice and phrasing of the words might not have been the best given the recent tragic event involving JongHyun of SHINee. Below is the official apology posted by BaekHyun.

Hi, this is BaekHyun. Im posting this because I feel that I should personally apologize for what Ive said during a fan sign on December 30th.

To be honest, Ive been struggling with depression lately and have been in a sensitive state. But after talking about a lot of things with the fan at the time, I started to get worried and scared.

While I was supposed to be here making fans happy, I suddenly realized the seriousness of the nature of the conversation with the fan.

I also felt that if I didnt respond to what she said at the moment, Id never be able to. And so, I acted and spoke too quickly.

I wanted to squeeze as many words of comfort as I could out of myself for her. I couldnt stop thinking about it throughout the end of the fan sign.

I am regretful of not choosing my words carefully at that moment. I only meant to comfort the fans who were going through a tough time.

I sincerely apologize for what Ive said to that fan and anyone else who may have been hurt. I will be more careful with what I say from now on.
