the reaction has been pretty divided
especially yesterdays
Singing Senbonzakura For The First Time In 4 years
Let's take a look at some of the comments
It's a hard watch
This isn't the syamu we wanted to see

He's not your cashcow
Forcing him to act weird is just cringe...
A lot of people seem to be mad at syamu's agent (who people think are pulling the strings behind the scenes)
Personally I think
the legend of syamu has just become this huge huge thing
whether he has someone helping him or not I don't think it's possible for him to live up to the huge expectations
but
I do have to agree that yesterdays video was bad
and not a so bad it's good bad
just plain bad
A lot of people also said this in the comments
but it just came off as forced
It was just sad to watch
What I personally think is good about syamu
is something that comes naturally
What do you mean?
Much like Bunzin, syamu's videos are usually so bad that they're funny
and the fact that he's oblivious to that adds to the comedy
The weird confidence he has and the way he sometimes lashes out at viewers makes for quality cringe
because this is something natural trying to recreate it just comes off as akward and not funny
I see
so yesterdays video was more like syamu trying to act like syamu
it was on the verge of self parody and I think that's what struck a nerve with a lot of people
but he's only put 3 videos out, so I'm still hoping that he can recreate some of the magic that made him so funny

An Australian tradition - slamming the ABC's New Year's Eve coverage - Duration: 7:26.
So we were all excited when New Zealand singer Kimbra hit the stage just before 10pm
And boy did our bubble burst quickly. Kimbra decided to have a crack at Kylie's number "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" and people were NOT happy
Some folk suggested she was off mic and others implied she minced up an easy song
A couple of viewers were generous and blamed it on the sound engineers. Others were less generous
"Kimbra needs to be a singer that we used to know," one bloke tweeted. "Why isn't Kimbra singing her own songs?" another person complained on social media
Although apparently she signed the song in AUSLAN - and a few deaf folk were pleased about this

Viewers were again unimpressed with the national broadcaster's NYE coverage in 2017 when hosts Jeremy Fernandez and Ella Hooper almost missed the midnight countdown because they were distracted by a live interview with Hoodoo Gurus front man, Dave Faulkner
The start of last year (2018) didn't fare much better for host Charlie Pickering as he counted down to New Year
He was swiftly slammed on social media after asking the assembled crowd: "Are you ready to count down to the magical moment, the only time it's OK to kill
ah, kiss a police officer without asking?" Despite this gaffe, he still managed to score the gig as co-host again this NYE
Since 2013, the ABC's TV coverage has reached more than three million people each year
Anyone would think Australians like making fun of celebrities who make fools of themselves in public

May I introduce to you, Tammy Baldwin.
Who is the first openly gay person to be elected to the Senate.
And is also the first woman from Wisconsin, to be elected to the US Senate.
Tammy Baldwin was born February 11th, 1962 and has made history and many many times over.
Not only in the Senate, but previously in 1998,
she also became the first female representative for Wisconsin in Congress,
and through that, became the first openly gay female in Congress.
She basicly did all the things.
She was, of course, re-elected again, in 2018.
She was first elected in 1986 at the age of just 24...
What were the rest of us doing we were 24???? napping probably,
She was elected to the Dane County, Board of Supervisors.
Baldwin is known for her strong support of the LGBTQIA rights community,
and she also campaigns for universal health care.
Among her many accomplishments.
Baldwin created legislation, to enhance paralysis and rehabilitation research.
Which was signed into law by Obama, in 2009.
Basically she came, she conquered, she said
Being a woman, and being gay is not gonna hold me back, I'm going to Congress. And then I'm going to the Senate.
Basically the woman's got gumption, won't take no for an answer, and my friggin love her!
So that is Tammy Baldwin, who I knew nothing about again, before starting this research.
I'm loving learning all this stuff.
