Are you ready to check the list of my favorite movies?
Intro!
So let's start!
Just so you know that I'l say the movies randomly,,
I loved all of the movies after all.
The 1st movie on my list is:
"The Big Sick" directed by Michael Showalter.
It seems like a made-up but it's actually a real story!
Showing lots of problems the interracial couple the Pakistani Kumail and American Emily has to go through.
The story that approaches topics that aren't light at all..
such as prejudice, culture, diversity, sickness, etc..
they approach those topics in such a smooth way!
Even with a person in coma in the story! xP
It's my favorite love/drama comedy of the year by far! I really recommend this movie! ^^
The next movie is:
"Comet" directed by Sam Esmail!
This movie tells the story of the 6 years of relationship between Kimberly and Dell.
It's a movie of the director of Mr. Robot,,
so there's many crazy stuff going on in some scenes {in a good way},,
and his characteristics takes.
It's a charming movie with a beautiful cinematography and interesting and realistic dialogues.
I loved the chemistry between the actors and dude!
You better watch it, I mean it! xD
The next movie is:
"The Meyerowitz Stories" directed by Noah Baumbach!
There's going to be Adam Sandler on my favorite list for sure!
About the storyline..
Harold has 3 children,, all of them are very different from one another.
A retired sculptor with an inflated ego,,
he got excited to know that there's going to be an exhibition to celebrate his work.
However, Harold got sick,,
forcing his 3 children who are kinda distant to one another to unite and help him to recover.
resulting in the famous washing of the dirty linen in public.
No family is perfect.. my family ain't perfect and probably neither yours..
and this movies shows it well.
After I've watched this movie, I always face situations that make me remind the movie,,
turning into a special movie to me,, so yes, I recommend it a lot!
The next movie is:
"Lion" directed by Garth Davis!
This movies was my favorite of the year by faaaar! I mean it!
It's such a delicate, fantastic and truly remarkable movie!
The movie is about the Indian Saroo,
who got lost from his brother in a train station when he was only 5 years old..
Lost in the world, he faces big struggles to survive all by himself,,
until he gets adopted by an Australian family.
Without being able to forget his roots,,
at 25 years old,, he tries to find a way to meet again his biological family.
OMG, guys! You can't imagine how Much I cried while I was watching this movie!
There's no way to not get touched with Saroo's story..
Based on a true story,, I command you to watch this movie!
I mean it, you will thank me later! :3
The next movie is:
"Hacksaw Ridge" directed by Mel Gibson!
It's a story about Desmond,
who is a combat medic of the American army
and he refused to use a gun during the World War Two.
The craziest thing is that the movie is based on a true story!
Desmond is definitely not a yes-man.
Watch the movie and you'll know why I'm telling this.
It's a war movie that is well produced
with a different point of view.
Mel Gibson did an excellent job! What a movie, my friends!
The next movie is:
"The Martian" directed by Ridley Scott!
During his mission in Mars, the astronaut Mark was left behind by his crew that thought that he was dead,,
but the truth is that he was totally alive!
The movie shows his lonely struggles to survive in Mars.
It grabbed my attention from the beginning to the end.
Wish I had watched it earlier! It's really an awesome movie!
Matt Damon did such an incredible job giving life to a very positive and charismatic character.
And I found Ridley Scott's Mars soOo beautiful!
The next movie is:
"Memento" directed by Christopher Nolan!
From the series better late than never! xD
I watched and loved it!
I've also watched Dunkirk from the same director and I found it excellent!
Christopher Nolan definitely knows how to make movies!
However, I liked Memento the most so I'm going to talk about it now.
The story is about Leonard,
who started to suffer from amnesia after the murder of his wife.
Leonard can't remember the things that happened 15 minutes ago.
Even being in that condition,, he decides to hunt down the murderer of his wife and revenge.
This movie is freaking crazy!
The way the movie is executed made me feel such an agony,,
it felt like I was having the same experience as Leonard!
However in the end, everything makes sense.
If you enjoy unpredictable movies,, I truly recommend it to you!
It's insane! Watch it!
The next movie is:
"Baby Driver" directed by Edgar Wright!
Baby has the habit of listening to music all the time!
Besides his love for music, he also loves to drive!
He is such a talented driver that he is the escape driver of a gang!
It was his way of living until he met a person,,
and many things happen which I won't tell you!
The movie is very dynamic and exciting!
And it has the best soundtrack of the year in my opinion!
So you better watch it!
The next movie is:
"A Monster Calls" directed by Juan Antonio Bayona!
Conor is a 13 year old boy who has so many problems in life..
However, he dreams about a gigantic tree every night,
that tells him stories and in return, the tree needs to listen to Conor's stories.
Don't think that it's a silly kid's movie please,, as it ain't silly at all!
It is a splendid movie with such a beautiful message that will make lots of grown ups cry!
I cried a lot too lol!
It was surely one of the movies that I loved to watch the most in 2017!
The next movie is:
"The Young and Prodigious Spivet" directed by Jean Pierre Jeunet!
It tells the story about T.S.Spivet, a 10 year old boy.
He is a prodigy and his incredible discovery made him win a very important scientific award!
So he decides to receive his award without telling his parents!
But the judges have no idea that the person who won the award is actually a child!
I simply love the magical world of Jean Pierre,,
and as the movie Amelie, the cinematography is impeccable with full of colors!
It's a gracious movie and I bet you will be enchanted with the young Spivet :3
Well guys, that's the list of the movies that I loved to watch the most in 2017.
Did you enjoy it?
Let me know in the comment section which movie you want to watch the most!
And of course don't forget to tell me your list of your favorite movies! I'd love to know!
Oh! As for the heroes movies, if I had to choose one,,
it'd surely be "Logan"! What a movie, guys!
I found the young actress incredible!
How she delivers such emotion using only her eyes and facial expression?
I thought that she was formidable!
As for Hugh Jackman,, I don't need to say a thing lol!
I think it's going to be hard to see another actor playing Wolverine xP
Well, that's all for today's video.
Thank you so much for watching! I hope to see you on the next video! ^^
I'll make more interesting fave lists for you so stay tuned! =D
Big kisses and mata ne~! o/
