I'm giving away two Plantronics 400LX Gaming Headsets! - Duration: 6:19.
What's up guys, Rogue-9 here and good news everyone!
Plantronics and Dolby have teamed up to give away two state of the art RIG 400LX gaming
headsets, featuring Dolby Atmos technology, and they were also kind enough to provide
me with a new headset to try out before hosting the giveaway.
Since these three headsets are being provided for free, this is a sponsored video and what
I would like to do, is give you a bit of an overview of these products as well as give
you all of the details you will need to enter the giveaway.
So let's get right into it!
Now on their own, the RIG 400LX headsets (as well as their wireless cousins, the RIG 800LX)
are great, light weight, headsets with dynamic 40mm headphone drivers that can accept a maximum
input power of 40 mW, cover a frequency range from 20 – 20k Hz, have an impedance of 32
ohms and a headphone sensitivity of 111 dB SPL/V. And to put this into context, a regular
petrol fuelled chainsaw, run at a distance of 1m, will produce a sound pressure level
of 110 dB which means that these headsets deliver plenty of power.
Not that I would recommend using them at full volume for prolonged periods of time, look
after your hearing guys!
But of course, these aren't just great quality stereo headphones.
The thing that makes these headsets special is that they come packaged with free access
to Dolby Atmos for Xbox One or Windows 10 and they are specifically designed to take
advantage of this new technology.
What is Dolby Atmos?
Well let me activate it on my PC and while I'm doing that, why don't I give you a
bit of this marketing blurb.
Eh, yeah let's set the scene with some exciting music.

Hehehe … ok it goes on for quite a bit more but I think we get the picture.
So Atmos is a separate piece of software that you activate on your PC of Xbox and it works
hand in hand with the Plantronics headsets to give you a better audio experience when
gaming or even when watching Netflix or Blue Ray films.
Currently, the technology is supported by 8 different games: Assassin's Creed Origins,
Battlefield 1, Crackdown 3, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy XV, Mass Effect: Andromeda,
Overwatch and Super Lucky's Tale… anyone heard of that one?!
Nope, me neither.
But that game aside, more good news everyone, I actually have three of these games installed
on my PC right now!
Let's start out by giving the old Battlefield 1 a crack!
…. Oh, wait what?!
Ah… it turns out that Battlefield 1 supports Dolby Atmos, but only for 5.2 or 7.2 surround
speaker systems… not headphones…
So yeah, good news everyone, I actually have two of these games installed on my PC right
now!
I tried out both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Assassin's Creed: Origins and both sounded
great.
One thing I have to add here though is that my headset did not come packaged with a TosLink
optical audio cable and so I tried it out using the USB connection first.
Sounds were crystal clear and the headphones provided me with a great sense of directionality.
But then I went ahead and ordered myself an optical cable and hooked that up and WOW!
The sound was impressive before but with the optical connection and the sound quality pushed
up to 24bit studio quality in the Windows settings, the sound was absolutely amazing.
And while that's great and all, the really important question is: "How do these headsets
perform with games that are not yet optimised to take advantage of the Dolby Atmos technology?"
Say for example, Rainbow Six Siege.
A game where sound arguably plays an incredibly important role in identifying the location
of your opponents, giving you those few milliseconds of an advantage that can make all the difference
between winning and losing a gunfight.
Well I tried it out and even without the dedicated support for Atmos that other games offer,
the Plantronics headset did a great job at providing me with a clearly defined directionality
to each of the sound queues that my old headset was not able to provide.
So the bottom line is, I'm really happy with this new headset and will continue using
it from now on.

Today I will show How to prepare Palak Vada.It is very tasty. Easy to prepare.
It is a strengthy food.
Urad Dal helps in muscle development because of the presence of protein in it.
Abundant presence of fibre in it improves digestive system. Palak prevents Cancer because of presence of Vitamin-E.
Vitamin-K presence in Palak gives healthy bones.
You must try this vada which are very strengthy.

Take 250 Grams of Urad Dal into a bowl.
Add water and cleanse two times.
Pour required water and allow it to soak for 4 hours.
If soak it for more time ,vadas will absorb more oil.
Close with lid and keep aside.After 4 hours,we can see the Urad Dal like this.
Drain water and shift it to Grinder.
Add less water so that Urad dal will be semi dense condition.
Grind it coarsely.
If mix like this, it will not absorb much oil.
Vada will be crispy.
Children like to eat.
Palak wash with water and cut into pieces after allowing it to dry for some time.
Cut into longitudinally.
Change the direction and cut into small pieces.
Now look into the required ingredients.
Urad Dal Dough: 250 Grams
Rock salt as needed.
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp.
Ginger : 1 Inch.
Chopped Coriander leaves : 1/2 Cup
Chopped Palak - 2 small bundles
Chopped Onions - 2 medium size
Green chillies - 2
Chopped curry leaves - 1 tbsp
Oil as needed for defry
Take green chillies and ginger into a mixy jar and grind it coarsely.
Like this we mix it coarsely.
Take a bowl and add urad dal dough, chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, chopped curry leaves, cumin seeds,ginger and green chilly paste and rock salt.
If you want, add normal table salt also.Rock salt controls Blood Pressure.
Now add chopped palak and mix it.
Since abundant presence of iron in palak and urad dal,
Anaemic patients can take these palak vadas.
Presence of Vitamin-A in palak improves deficiency of eye sight.
Now vada mixture is ready.
Pour required oil in pan and turn on flame.
After few minutes put a small piece of vada mixture in oil to test it.
Wet both hands with water so that vada mix will not stick to hands.
Take ball size vada mix and shape it like vada and put a hole in it.
Place it in oil.
Remove the small piece of dough from oil.
Do the same way and place vadas in the oil
Since the vada mix is rough,it will not absorb much oil.
Flip the vadas to the other side.
Urad Dal reduce bad cholesterol levels.
Allow them to fry till it reaches Golden Brown colour.
These are crispy and tasty.
Now take out these vadas into tissue paper.
Tissue paper squeezes extra oil from Vadas.
Urad dal gives strength to Spinal Chord.
Take out all into tissue paper.
You can serve this vadas with Coconut Chutney or Red Chutney.

Will Robots Take Away Our Jobs? - Duration: 9:12.
What does it mean for the future of jobs when robots can do things faster, cheaper, and
better than we can?
Will there be anything left for humans to do?
This is more serious than the debate about jobs going overseas.
We're talking about jobs going away altogether.
We're talking about mass unemployment.
What we now call the "middle class" might be wiped out entirely.
Or will it?
The idea that technology will take away jobs is
one that goes way back.
The classic example is the Luddite movement of the early 1800's.
The Luddites were textile workers in England whose jobs were being replaced by weaving
machinery.
Their solution was to break into businesses and destroy the machines they could find.
This eventually stopped when the Luddites were all arrested.
But this has been a recurring theme over the last 200 years.
New technology has always threatened old jobs.
The invention of the steam engine threatened manual labor.
The ATM threatened bank tellers.
Automated gas pumps threatened gas pump attendants.
Today the Internet threatens retail.
There are many more examples.
Throughout history many have argued that this progression will lead to economic collapse,
because at each turn, there will be fewer jobs to go around.
Yes somehow, two centuries in, we're still going strong.
Why?
Well, what the evidence shows is that technology actually creates more jobs than it destroys.
Take the case of the ATM for example.
There are more bank tellers now than before the ATM was invented.
It's true that fewer tellers are needed at each branch because of the ATM.
But ATMs made it cheaper to operate a branch, which allowed banks to open more branches.
The total number of teller jobs increased, even with fewer at each location.
A slightly different case is that of the automated gas pump.
Yes, it killed the job of the gas pump attendant.
But it also created new opportunities.
Software developers were needed to make the pumps work correctly, engineers were needed
to build them, salespeople were needed to sell them, and contractors were needed to
install them.
And because they decreased the cost of running a gas station, more of them added mini-marts
and new locations, employing more people.
The Internet is an even bigger example.
We all know it has caused the retail industry to shrink.
But it's created a huge number of jobs in web development and web marketing.
And the ability to conduct business online has created a lot of opportunities.
A 2011 study by McKinsey found that while the Internet destroyed half a million jobs
in France, it created 1.2 million new jobs in their place.
That's a lot of net job creation.
So technology boosts employment in three ways:
First, it improves productivity.
That lowers operating costs, so business can grow and create new jobs.
It also means products and services can be made more affordable.
That means there is more that we can buy and sell to each other, which creates a more robust
economy.
Second, technology requires a support structure.
That creates jobs in areas such as: Management
Hardware Software
Marketing Finance
Training Support
Maintenance Quality Control
...and so forth.
Third, technology creates new business opportunities.
Take the example of smartphones.
People are out there creating mobile apps, smartphone cases, smartphone peripherals,
even smartphone reviews.
So technology has always been the main driver of the economy.
Contrary to what the politicians tell us, cutting taxes or increasing government spending
is not the most important thing.
It's technology that actually drives most of the growth.
But is it possible that "this time" might be different?
After all, we now have robots that can replace humans in unprecedented ways.
Take warehouse robots, for example.
Companies such as Amazon use them to find and move inventory off of shelves more than
five times faster than a human.
Then there are self-driving robots, such as those introduced by Google and Tesla.
These robots have ten times the perception and reflexes of a human driver, always make
safe decisions, and never get lost.
Pretty soon they'll be doing all the driving.
There are robots that can cook a hamburger in 10 seconds while performing all the jobs
of a fast food crew.
And self-serve kiosks are spreading quickly.
It seems like everything will soon be automated.
So what will people do?
First, let's assume that robots will not become smarter than humans and take over the world.
That's a topic for another day.
For now, let's focus on the near future.
There are different opinions about what that looks like.
One paper by the University of Oxford predicts that nearly half of U.S. jobs will be automated
within a few decades.
Others think it will be closer to a third of jobs.
Either way, it's plenty.
Although this might sound expensive, robots pay for themselves.
According to the Boston Consulting Group, a human welder costs a company around $25
an hour, but robot can do the same job for $8 an hour, even with setup costs.
That makes investing in robots the obvious choice.
This seems like bad news for humans.
But there are a few things to keep in mind.
One is that while it's easy to guess the jobs that robots will take away, it's difficult
to predict the new opportunities they will create.
Consider that in 1870, 50% of the jobs in the US were related to farming.
Because of improvements in technology, now that figure is around 1%.
If you went back in time and told people this was coming, they wouldn't know what they were
going to do either.
There is no way they could imagine the jobs technology would enable, such as Web designer,
or Pharmacist, or Airplane pilot.
The jobs of the future may be better than the ones today.
Robots will free us from jobs that are boring, repetitive, and dangerous.
Future jobs will demand more passion, innovation, and insight, which are uniquely human qualities.
Robots will perform the calculations and drudge work while we provide the direction.
Another point is that robots won't be able to do EVERYTHING.
Let's list just a few jobs which are unlikely to be automated:
How about...
Design Nursing
Childcare Show Business
Art and Fashion Politics
Psychology Sports
Law Enforcement Education
Plumbing Journalism
And so on.
Still, there's no denying that some jobs will be lost, particularly those in manufacturing
and labor.
The rule of thumb is that any job that is predictable enough can be done more efficiently
by a robot than a human.
That will affect a lot of people.
For some, the job they trained for will no longer be viable, and they may have a hard
time transitioning to a new career.
Others may suffer from a lack of education or opportunity, and cannot qualify for higher
level work.
This might result in higher unemployment than we've ever seen, what we would even call "mass
unemployment".
Mass unemployment hurts everyone, because it means less people are buying goods and
services.
It also causes a strain on the government, which will take in less taxes but face increased
demand for support of the public.
One solution often discussed, and believe it or not it is actually a bipartisan idea,
is to introduce some form of a universal basic income.
A guaranteed income would support displaced workers while they train in new skills.
This might be needed to keep the marketplace from collapsing while we adapt to the new
economy.
A second and more important solution is to invest in education.
This is not a new idea, it's how we've dealt with the problem before.
Mandatory high school, for example, was invented to transition workers into industrial jobs
when agriculture started shrinking.
Then colleges and universities were invented to transition workers into white collar work
when labor became more efficient.
Unfortunately, we're already in an educational crises.
In the U.S. we have a dramatic shortage of people with STEM training, which is knowledge
of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, which is where many of the new jobs will be.
Currently we have to look offshore to meet the demand for qualified people.
We need to turn this around to prosper in the coming economy.
Another idea is self-driven learning, which is possible thanks to online course providers.
This is a great opportunity, because it offers public access to education from the best teachers
in the world, at a reasonable cost, or sometimes even free.
The technology community itself is making this possible.
Udacity, Coursera, and edX, for example, were all founded by members of the Artifical Intelligence
community.
These folks know better than anyone that humans have to improve their skills to keep up with
tomorrow's technology.
Across the board, we need to do more to encourage continuous learning.
The important thing to remember is, as humans, we still have an unrivaled ability to adapt
and to improve ourselves.
With the right attitude, we can take advantage of new opportunities instead of depending
on past ones.
If we can do that, we can enjoy instead of fear the robot revolution.

with Victoria's Secret's model Barbara Palvin.

you sit here, then you're gonna tell us the story about this Barbara Palvin
photo shooting. ok? ok! cool just sit down here and then we see!
hello everybody!!
ok guys. Barbara Palvin was in town,
and I was assigned to shoot a few
different images for two different clients.
one of the clients was L'Oreal Paris.
A cosmetic brand, and the other client was at fashion magazine.
both clients were very clear about what kind of images they want.
they both wanted
daytime image and nighttime image.
I mean, Barbara was gonna be wearing
daytime clothes with daytime makeup.
L'Oreal has a new line of lipsticks,
they want emphasis on the lips.
she was also gonna be wearing nighttime clothes.
once again with emphasis on the lipsticks for L'Oreal
we have the clothes for the fashion magazine and the
lipstick for the L'Oreal client.
the magazine asked me to shoot three
different colorful and pop images.
one of them, one of the images, was going to be
used for the cover.
L'Oreal are asked me
to take two different headshots
of Barbara wearing the two different color lipsticks.
one matte color for daytime fashion,
and another one kind of glossy
color for nighttime fashion.
cool, so far...so good!
but then the client told me
something that I didn't want to hear!
they said, you have only one hour to do the job!
HOUSTON, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!
well, one hour it's not too bad,
as long as I don't have to change the lighting setup.
the clients agreed
to have the same lighting for
both the fashion photos
and for the beauty photos.
as for the lighting, as I was gonna
photograph glossy lipsticks,
and as I like to see
where the shadows are,
I chose a 4,000 watts HMI continuous light.
using continuous lights for beauty shots
is what I like to do.
I can pretty much see
where the shadows are,
where the things are shining,
even her eyes,
I can tell. alright, look a bit
more this way. the eyes are gonna be
beautiful.
when shooting Beauty,
colour temperature is the most important thing you have to take care of.
I usually use a Kelvin color meter. to see if the color temperature of the
lighting I am using. is around 5500 Kelvin.
then I set the white balance of my
camera to Kelvin 5500.
in case your lighting is below 5500, then what you
have to do is, you should get some blue gels in front in front of
the HMI
or in case it's higher than 5500,
then you should get some warm kind of
gels in front today of spot.
you can bring the temperature up or down
depending on the color temperature you have in your lighting source.
once you get there,
you take one picture
with a grey card positioned
in front of the model.
you're photographing in RAW. of course!
when you're photographing beauty, you have to photograph in RAW.
take this picture to Photoshop and open on Bridge.
and use the eyedropper tool,
right where the grey card is.
you're gonna see that the
colour is gonna change
to somewhere where is supposed to be
the best white balance
you can get!.
the client asked me for something pop and colorful.
yeah! what I was talking about?
oh yeah! the backdrop!
then what?
balloons!
millions of balloons!!
pretty colorful isn'it?
it so I chose blue and
green balloons for the daytime image.
and red and pink balloons for the nighttime image.
I told Barbara to look happy, kind of smilesh, and make some funny faces
for the daytime look, and for the nighttime look I just told her to look
cool.
now let's take a look at the behind-the-scenes video.
you can see
that I'm kind of singing and dancing.
seems like I'm having the
best time of my life.
but it's fake man!!
I was just pretending to be having
a good time! why?
because I had just one hour.
I had one eye on the model
and another eye
on the watch!!
you know I mean?
in every time the stylists or hair makeup artist
got in the scene to retouch
something, or to fix the clothes. or to fix her hair, whatever, I was like....
just pretend to be cool,
but I was like...can you hurry up man!!
because we
have no time!!
we don't have the whole day here to do this job!!
