Youtube daily report Feb 23 2018

Hi, my name is Nia and I've just studied Maths GCSE through ICS Learn. I chose to

do an online course because I didn't want to commit to going to any evening

classes. I wanted to study at home really and at my own pace. Studying with ICS was easy.

Once I've got my head around the website and into a routine of studying

it was great. I found that forum was a very helpful place if I was stuck

on a Maths problem or if I needed to find out about exams and booking exams

I looked on there and the answers were always there. The tutor support was excellent as well they

were very quick in responding to emails and their answers were very clear. The most useful

thing that I found about learning through ICS Learn were the online

lessons. I found I could watch them as often as I could and wanted

really. And I think this is what helped me through the course. In a class in

school used to listen to your teacher hear it once and I was gone. But I think

I watched these videos about three or four times before they finally clicked

in my head so I would like to say thank you very much to ICS Learn for

everything and really I would recommend them. Studying in this

way to anybody and wish everybody all the best of luck for the future. Thank you!

Video Game Weapons That Work In Real Life - Duration: 5:01.

Many video game weapons are so bizarre and incredible, we figure there's no way technology

will ever make them real.

And yet, there are plenty with real-life counterparts, some of which really blur the line between

fact and fiction.

Just try to fight the urge to build these yourself.

Squall's Gunblade

Most gamers thought it would be super-cool to wield a gunblade like Squall's in Final

Fantasy 8 from the first moment it appeared.

Of course, it's hard to imagine that a weapon like that would have any real-world applications

besides looking cool, but it turns out that pistol swords were very real throughout history

— and we're not just talking simple bayonets.

"Advance!

EN GARDE!

AHHHHHHH!"

Pistol swords and knives existed in France and Germany, dating back to the 1500s.

Even though these combined weapons seem pretty cool, they weren't widely used, due to both

the expense of slapping two weapons together, and how one part of the weapon would make

the other part completely unwieldy...sort of like a camera phone.

But not, like, a good one:

"What is this?"

"The hell?"

"Why does the phone have a camera go through it?"

"It's a camera phone.

Jermaine wanted one for his birthday."

"Where'd you get it?"

"I made it.

It's homemade."

"Yeah, it's a piece of s---!"

"Well, how come Jermaine likes it so much?"

"You can have it."

Still, at least they look pretty dang cool.

Tira's Ringblade

SoulCalibur's Tira likes to use a giant, bladed ring as a deadly hula hoop/sword combination.

The weapon might seem silly, but the ringblade is actually a giant chakram, a ring that can

be tossed through the air and cut with its sharp blades.

Remember Xena: Warrior Princess?

Turns out, parts of it were totally real.

Chakrams were used by ancient Sikhs, and were worn on the arm before being spun on a finger

and then flung at an enemy.

These bladed rings were more than capable of cutting through a man, and they seem a

lot more dangerous than daggers, since they would continue to slice into flesh upon impact.

It probably works best if you make this noise, though.

"Shya!

AY YAI YAI YAI YAI!"

The Demon Sword of Paracelsus

Sure, it has one of the coolest names ever, but also one of the most misleading, since

it's not, y'know, an actual sword.

This weapon from Resident Evil 3 is, however, a railgun, and while we might never use a

railgun against undead monstrosities, there are real-world, non-zombie-related applications

for such a device.

The US Navy actually crafted a $500 million electromagnetic railgun after a decade of

development.

It requires its own small power plant to send a 25-pound projectile flying at speeds of

up to 4500 miles per hour — which makes it both a hefty investment and a power hog.

"They missed."

C. Viper's Stun Glove

Crimson Viper from Street Fighter 4 is a badass femme fatale who exhibits a shocking grasp

when it comes to fights.

But you don't have to be a World Warrior to wield one of these bad boys, because it seems

as if people make stun gloves all the time online.

One aspiring crimefighter even created a glove that can stun, has a laser pointer, a flashlight,

and an armored sleeve.

The device was so impressive, that none other than Kevin "Waterworld" Costner invested in

it.

That said, we don't recommend crafting any zap-gloves and electrocuting folks for no

good reason.

Johnny Law might have something to say about it.

"Shocking."

Cloud's Buster Sword

Even though he physically shouldn't have been able to, Cloud Strife wielded the comically-large

Buster Sword in Final Fantasy Seven.

While no one handled anything as cartoonishly big in real life, zweihanders were pretty

much the real-life equivalent of the Buster Sword.

These two-handed weapons had large blades, but could still be swung around effectively

by guiding the blade with a hand near the hilt and one on near the pommel.

These greatswords could be used to fight multiple combatants, usually to defend a point like

a door.

Sadly, as cool as these weapons are, we see no room for Materia slots — so no thanks.

Bouncing Betty

In Borderlands 2, Bouncing Betties are modified grenades that pop up and send projectiles

flying everywhere.

Just in case you thought these weapons were complete works of fiction, believe it or not,

they actually existed back in World War II.

The S-Mines, or Bouncing Betties as they were known to American forces, were dug into the

ground by German forces and would pop up when triggered, sending shrapnel flying everywhere.

Like most weapons used in past wars, these mines were highly devastating.

They were sort of like the traps in Home Alone, but, slightly less hilarious.

"Heads up!"

"Then the main charge exploded, sending 350 steel balls in all directions."

"Ahhhhhh!"

Outemu Switches vs Cherry MX Switches - Are More Expensive Switches Worth It? - Duration: 5:38.

What's going on everyone Mitesh here, and today I have with me these two

keyboards right here so this one in the white on the left is the Drevo Gramr

keyboard and I did a full review of this one before and I'll link it in the cards

in description if you guys are interested in that one and this one on

the right right here is the Cooler Master Masterkeys Pro s keyboard that I

just got to replace this Drevo Gramr keyboard. So for those of you who watch

my Drevo Gramr review you might be wondering why because I really praised

this one I thought it was a great keyboard for the price it had a good

typing experience so why did I feel the need to spend money - extra money - and get

this one right here well the short answer to this is the fact that I've

been going back and forth between this keyboard right here which has Outemu

Brown switches and I real cherry MX keyboard at my work so that one was too

large for me to keep on this desktop up here and I've been using it at work and

after about a week or so of that I realized that there's this imperceptible

difference between the Outemu brown switches and the Cherry MX brown

switches that I just started to pick up on and I just really preferred the

Cherry MX versions of it so in this video I want to try to prove to you guys

and myself and my wife what the real difference is and the one of the ways

that can actually show you guys is the sound difference so I can't have you all

come over here and try to these keyboards out for yourself so I'm gonna

let you guys try to hear the difference between the two keyboards so for those

of you who are considering it you guys can actually hear it out so I'm gonna be

using this blue Yeti microphone being a typing test and you know what let's just

go ahead and get started with it

okay so I've got the microphone in place got

typing test up and first up we have the Drevo Gramr Keyboard so

let's go ahead and start this alright do this

okay and now I've got the cooler master keyboard in and just a side note it's

got a removal keyboard it's got detachable keyboard so you can just

unplug the cable and you've gotta and that is actually really nice benefit to

have especially if you're someone who wants to connect your keyboard to

multiple devices the fact that you're gonna unplug it and plug it back in it's

kind of Awesome alright so that typing test back up let me go ahead and restart

it since I did not do that already and here we go

okay so there you guys go that's the comparison in sound at least between

these two keyboards now I heard it back and to be honest I really couldn't tell

the difference in sound in real life I can kind of tell but it may also have to

do with how this switches feel and I have to say the Cherry MX witches are

just a tad smoother than the Outemu brown switches are so for me it's worth

it to get the keyboard because like I said I have a Cherry MX brown switches

at work and when I came home and I had to use this one it just didn't feel as

good and I know that's very subjective but for me I think it was worth it to

get this one but unless you're someone like me who's gonna be in a situation

where you're going back and forth between the two different switches I

would tell you to save the money so this one just cost $40 for this Drevo Gramr

keyboard and the Coolermaster one is a hundred and twenty dollars now with that

you're getting a little bit better features like I said you it's got the

detachable cable it's got RGB lighting I know some of you are gonna be really

excited for that and it's got PBT key caps which are generally considered

superior to the ABS key caps that are on here I don't want to get into a whole

thing I don't know that much about it but I know that key caps on this sound a

little bit better than they do on here but you can always replace these anyway

so if you can't hear the difference between the sounds how do we tell you to

go ahead and spend them four dollars on getting the Drevo Gramr instead

but if you're interested in this one I'm gonna have links to both of these down

in the description but that's pretty much all I have for you guys in this one

I hope you guys enjoyed it if you did don't forget to hit that like button and

if you guys aren't subscribed already go ahead and hit that subscribe button and

I'll catch you guys the next one bye

Does sweating become thin? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Duration: 3:05.

Hi, I'm Raquel Domínguez from www.operacionbikini.es and I'm here to talk

about one of the most widespread myths in the world of fitness. Does sweating become thin? This is

one of the most typical questions, about all of those who start doing

exercise. This and how long am I going to take time to notice changes? I've already

I answer here. Surely you've heard a million times that sweating becomes thin and that

the more you sweat in your workouts the more you are losing weight. But, in case you have doubts,

this statement that sweating slims and sweating burning fat is not true. Or for

at least it is not entirely correct. Sweat It is not equivalent to losing weight more. To see sweat

is fantastic and when we exercise in our body there is an increase in

temperature and our body needs get rid of that heat, then

it produces sweat and through the evaporation of sweat we lose heat. Y

also, through sweat, too we eliminate toxins, so sweating is

perfect. But someone believes that through sweat can we lose weight or lose fat?

Let's see, it is true that if we make a very intense exercise that demands a lot

wear and a lot of effort for our part of us are going to sweat more, and we're also going

to burn more calories, but it's not for the sweat, it's because we're making a

very intense exercise. Based on the belief that

sweat more let's lose weight there's a lot of telemarketing products that do not

They are absolutely worth nothing like sashes, saunas, plastic exercise suits ...

That's crazy, the only thing you're going to get with them is that it does not evaporate

the sweat, that told you before the mission that has the sweat is that it

Evaporate to lower our temperature body, and with this type of gadgets

that's not going to happen. You're just going to get irritate the skin and an instant effect. Yes,

maybe for example if you put a belt to help and you go running, you the

remove and you see your abdomen flatter, but when you shower and drink

a cup of water your abdomen will be the same as always because you have

lost non-fat liquids, nor have you lost weight. It is also true that, in theory, it is

true that heat melts fat. In fact if you put butter in

a pan with the heat is going to melt true? But in your body it will not happen

that, why? Because you need to get to 360 degrees so that the fat melts and

If you get to 360 degrees, well I'm telling you I did not survive. So I wait

have done away with this myth once for all. Sweating does not lose weight and if you still

You know someone who thinks sweating is going to make to melt your body fat, for

please share the video so it comes out of doubts once and for all. Tea

I hope in the next video do not go to lack. Bye bye

Vision Lifts Thor's Hammer 'Civil War' | Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) CLIP HD (+Subtitles) - Duration: 4:30.

Wait!

I am sorry. That was

odd.

Thank you.

Thor.

- You helped create this? - I've had a vision.

A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life, and at its centre is that.

What? The gem?

It's the Mind Stone. It's one of the six Infinity Stones.

The greatest power in the universe,

unparalleled in its destructive capabilities.

- Then why would you bring... - Because Stark is right.

Oh, it's definitely the end times.

The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron.

Not alone.

Why does your Vision sound like Jarvis?

We reconfigured Jarvis's matrix

to create something new.

I think I've had my fill of new.

You think I'm a child of Ultron.

You're not?

I'm not Ultron.

I am not Jarvis. I am...

I am.

I looked in your head

and saw annihilation.

Look again.</font>

Her seal of approval means jack to me.

Their powers, the horrors in our heads,

Ultron himself, they all came from the Mind Stone.

And they're nothing compared to what it can unleash.

- But with it on our side... - Is it?

Are you?

On our side?

I don't think it's that simple.

Well, it better get real simple real soon.

I am on the side of life.

Ultron isn't.

He will end it all.

What's he waiting for?

- You. - Where?

Sokovia.

He's got Nat there, too.

If we're wrong about you,

if you're the monster that Ultron made you to be...

What will you do?

I don't want to kill Ultron.

He's unique and he's in pain.

But that pain will roll over the Earth.

So, he must be destroyed.

Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net.

We have to act now.

And not one of us can do it without the others.

Maybe I am a monster.

I don't think I'd know if I were one.

I'm not what you are,

and not what you intended.

So, there may be no way to make you trust me.

But we need to go.

Right.

Well done.

Three minutes.

Get what you need.

Italian Cuisine - Eating a 4 course meal in Matera, Italy - Duration: 14:46.

Alright guys it is lunchtime here in Matera and it is another cold rainy day.

Winter is officially here.

Actually today is December 1st.

Mmmhmm.

So really the holidays are around the corner.

Yeah, we're seeing lots of Christmas decorations around town.

Yes.

And it is starting to get festive.

It is so chilly too.

Like I'm using my scarf as a blanket while we eat lunch.

Um, but anyways yeah we found this really cool restaurant.

It is called Nadi.

It is in a cave like most buildings seem to be here in Matera and today we have decided

to do a 4 course meal.

Yep.

However, our stomachs aren't really trained for the Italian way of eating so we're going

to share one four course meal.

Yeah.

Between the two of us.

No.

We already ordered some red wine.

Which one did we get?

It is called Primitivo.

Okay.

Um, so yeah some nice red.

We have a little bit of bread and these cute little like round pretzel things.

Yep.

Pretty good.

They have fennel.

Um, fizzy water and we're waiting for the first course to arrive which would be antipasti.

Right.

It is local salami and cheeses.

Excited for that one for sure.

Mmmmhmm.

Alright guys so this is the antipasto lugano.

This is our first dish.

And oh my goodness we've already been eating some of the meat because it looked amazing.

We couldn't contain ourselves.

We couldn't resist.

So the waiter did tell us that names for everything but I mean I don't know the language so I

can remember maybe like three.

I know this one was the ricotta.

Yeah.

This is the salumi.

Yep.

And this one I think he said pancetta.

Yep.

The other four I don't know but they look wonderful.

So I'm going to dig in.

It is a combination of it looks like soft and hard cheeses.

Yeah.

And it is all local.

It is all local cheeses and deli meats.

Which is super cool.

So should I do all of the meats or all of the cheeses?

You get to choose.

Maybe I'll do all of the cheeses and you can do all of the meats.

Yep.

Otherwise I feel like we could be like here forever.

Yeah, we have a lot more oh my gosh.

Wow, so I'm digging into this one.

Woah.

That is an interesting consistency.

Wow.

Yeah.

It is like harder on the exterior and then it is like oozing from the middle.

Mmmmm.

Is it good?

Wow.

That is very light.

And like it has a lot of water content.

It almost reminds me of the Bocconcini?

Am I remembering correctly?

But that Italian cheese that comes in water.

It is kind of like that and I do like this one.

You like that one?

It might be easier to spread on bread for sure though.

Yeah.

Let's try some ricotta.

How is that?

Mmmm.

Good?

Creamier than the first for sure.

I feel like they've put them from like soft to hard.

They are all strategically organized.

Yeah, I think so.

Just pick it up and bite it.

Mmmm.

This one has a stronger flavor.

Yeah.

I really like this one.

This is a hard cheese.

This and wine.

Hahaha.

Oh we got lots more wine left.

We've only so far we've only used like less than half of the bottle.

Yeah.

We're in good shape with our wine.

And this is my fourth cheese which looks even harder than the rest.

Mmmm.

Is it good?

Yeah.

So out of amongst the four do you have a favorite so far?

These two.

You like the hard cheeses.

Yeah.

Ooh.

I can't wait to try them.

They are very good.

Hahaha.

Alright so I have passed the plate over.

Sam you're going to show us the meats.

I'm going to show you the meats.

What's going on.

I think this is the salumi.

Are you seriously using a fork and knife to eat your salumi Sam?

Why not?

Hahaha.

Why not.

It is nice and thick.

The salumi is really good.

That is the only one I've tried so far.

I've had a few pieces.

Oh man.

It has got a um subtle bit of spiciness and a little bit of gamey-ness too the more you

chew it.

Mmm.

It is kind of like the flavors reveal themselves slowly.

Okay, let's try this one over here.

This one I forget the name.

Oh, it peels apart.

Then again it looks really good.

Yeah.

Mmmm.

Oh, what do you think?

That is delicious.

It would go really nice with bread and maybe a bit of the hard cheese over top.

This third one I believe he said pancetta or pancetta?

Oh, this one looks really soft.

It has a bit more fat.

Soft and fatty.

Slice that up.

It would probably be easier if you were using your fingers.

Oh my gosh.

Mmmm.

What do you think?

That might be my favorite one of all.

Really?

It is really soft.

Yeah.

Ooh.

Mmmm.

While we are off to a great start.

Lots of flavor.

I would say.

Yeah, this is just the beginning guys.

Yes.

We've got three more things coming.

So next up we're moving on to our second dish.

Which really is the primi piatti.

Yeah, or second like that.

Which means first dish.

It is typically a pasta.

Right.

But we decided we didn't want just one pasta.

We wanted to have a sampler plate.

So we got three different kinds.

We got three different things going on.

Yeah.

So this pasta here it has red peppers and bread crumbs and this other one we've had

before it comes with mushrooms and the pork sausage.

Yeah.

That delicious.

It is really good.

Spicy pork sausage.

That is what we had when we first arrived.

Mmmhmm.

Oh you're having a big bite.

It is very good.

I'm getting a little bit of everything.

Hahaha.

I'm trying to get it in there.

This is my favorite pasta.

So with this sauce.

It has been so good.

If I had to choose one favorite dish from our time in Matera so far it would be the

spicy pork sausage and the mushrooms.

Yeah, that is really good.

Wonderful.

Yeah that is really good.

Also we travel with a pretty big camera and a mic right on top of that and apparently

they're filming a movie about Maria Magdalena here in Matera right now.

It is a really popular destination for biblical movies because it looks like it is straight

out of bible times.

So they thought we were with the crew and maybe we're filming the restaurant.

No.

We're not.

We're like no it is just YouTube.

Haha.

So embarrassing though oh my gosh.

Haha.

Um but yeah I'm going to share the pasta with you.

Actually maybe I should try this.

I don't know what this is about.

Yeah, try that.

So he said this is like a legume soup but honestly it looks more like beans and barley

and chickpeas soup.

Mmmm.

Is it good?

On a day like today that is wonderful.

Haha.

Yeah, it is just different kinds of beans in a creamy thick fill you up kind of dish.

Yeah, exactly.

Alright my turn?

Mmm.

Oh, it is so nice three different things to choose from.

Yeah.

And you know the antipasti that is just such a good idea in an Italian meal because it

is like you come to the restaurant you are hungry, you want your food and they just bring

that right away.

Yeah, so I mean that filled us up quite a bit.

It really did.

Honestly, so I'm trying the one now that has got like breadcrumbs.

It has got dried red peppers.

Yep.

Those are sun dried.

Mmm.

Those are crunchy.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Really crunchy.

Mmmm.

That is nice.

It doesn't come in a thick sauce or anything.

It is just uh you really taste the pasta.

You really taste the crunchiness of the peppers.

Yeah, and the crunchiness of the bread.

So now I'm going to try the one that we really like.

Oh, that is my favorite.

Mushrooms and sausage.

Mmmm.

Oh man.

We've gotta try to replicate that one someday at home.

Yeah, hahaha.

And finally the bread and the beans.

Let's try some of that.

Here we have Sam drinking soup with a fork.

Will he manage?

Will he manage Mr. Caveman.

Everyone always says Sam is like a caveman the way he eats and today he is eating in

a cave.

I'm eating in a cave.

Caveman in the cave finally.

Finally.

Caveman in the cave.

This is so good.

This is like surprisingly good.

I thought this might be a little bit bland but yeah mmmm.

And this is only dish two out of four.

That is right.

Keep them coming.

Keep them coming.

Okay, this next one is called secondi piatti.

And typically it would be a meat dish but we were in the mood to go vegetarian.

Yeah.

Actually this just sounded good.

Yeah.

And it is basically a baked eggplant.

Oh my gosh.

If you could see the cheese.

The layers of cheese under there.

It has got cheese.

It has got tomato sauce.

Yeah.

Yeah.

I bet this is going to be so good.

Oh my.

This might be the unexpected hit of the meal.

Yeah.

It has all been good so far but I'm really looking forward to trying that one.

Yeah, and like on top it looks like they've sprinkled some parmesan cheese.

It is all like nice and crispy and golden.

Yeah.

Some basil leaves.

Oh boy.

I'm really full.

Surprisingly full after two dishes.

Mmmm.

Good?

Wow.

Wow.

This is so good.

It is like steaming.

It is still hot.

It looks like it was cooked in this claypot.

But man that is wonderful.

Oh, it is so cheesy.

It is super cheesy.

Like just the layers.

Cheesy.

But I really need to try and save some room for dessert.

Yep.

Otherwise we're going to be in trouble.

Yum yum.

A glass of red to go with it.

What else could you ask for?

Hahaha.

Oh ho ho.

Look at that.

The final stretch.

The fourth course (dolce).

Dessert.

Let's do this.

So we ordered a slice of ricotta cheesecake to share.

Yeah.

So far it looks more cakey than cheesy to be honest.

They've given us a nice big slab.

Mmmm.

That is warm.

Is it warm?

Mmmm.

Oh wow.

It is served warm.

Drizzled in a chocolate sauce.

Some icing sugar dusted on top.

Is it good?

Yeah.

Is it dense?

Dense.

I'm not sure I'd describe it as dense but okay.

It is an interesting mix of like cakey.

Yep.

And cheesy.

Yet spongey.

It is good.

It reminds me of um what is that bread dessert.

Bread pudding.

Bread pudding.

Okay.

Kind of like a bread pudding.

Okay.

Consistency.

Interesting.

Mmmhmm.

How are feeling Sam?

Fourth course.

Oh my gosh.

Fourth course.

I'd probably the first course almost did me in so yeah.

I ate so much meat and cheese and then all of that pasta.

It has just been so good though.

Like I just can't when I'm having good Italian food like this I just cannot stop myself.

Mmmm.

What do you think?

Oh wow.

It is so much different than I had anticipated when we ordered it.

Yeah because we've had ricotta cheesecake before but this is a completely different

style.

Yeah.

But I like it.

I do like it.

I really like it.

It is so much fluffier yeah than what I was expecting.

Yeah.

It is a nice cake though.

They showed us the entire cake like before I cut it.

Yeah before they sliced it.

Very impressive.

Like huge.

Like huge cake.

I can't believe how big it is.

Mmmm.

A nice way to finish off and my goodness I'm going to need the world's biggest siesta after

this.

I know.

We were I'm already falling asleep right now.

First we were thinking maybe a little coffee or maybe a digestive are you kidding.

There is no way.

No way.

This is it.

No way.

This is it guys.

So we'll wrap it up with price point in a bit.

We just got the bill and this is awesome because they brought us each I should say a limoncello

shot.

Limoncello.

Before I tell you the price point let's have a little bit of this.

A little tipple as he says.

Oh.

Wow.

Sweet.

Potent.

Very sweet.

That is the thing that comes to mind.

It is great.

Yeah, it'll help burn a little bit that has been accumulating in the belly.

You just look so happy to get some free alcohol.

Yeah, it is nice getting free stuff.

I mean who doesn't like that.

Anyways um oh man.

In terms of price point that came to 43 Euros.

And uh yeah we had a huge thing of fizzy water, half a bottle of wine.

Uh yeah thank you.

Half a bottle of wine, um then a four course meal.

Yeah.

Big bread basket and now this.

So you know it wasn't cheap but it was really good.

And uh yeah we just had a wonderful meal here.

The service was fantastic.

The atmosphere was cool.

The food was great.

So we definitely recommend coming here.

And yeah the ultimate sign of a feast of feasts is that I'm going to need a huge siesta.

There is a rotund chicken alert that has just been there is an advisory that has been put

out there.

Haha.

Here in Matera.

Oh man.

We are so full, so done.

We will see you guys on the next video.

Tata.

Bye.

L'humanité face aux extraterrestres - Duration: 11:39.

HOW HUMANITY WILL RESPOND TO DISCOVER A LIFE EXTRATERRESTRE?

I think we will have indications serious about life beyond orbit

in less than a decade.

It is interesting to ask the reason for which we like to ask ourselves such a

question.

Are we alone in the universe ? Since that we know that the Universe is vast,

if not infinite, there is no reason to to refrain from thinking that we are there

not alone.

But it is clear that, if we do not are not alone, we are very likely

not either, locally at least, very numerous.

Our civilization is finally very recent if we compare it to the age of the Universe.

If there are other intelligent civilizations, they may be at a stage

similar or lower than ours, and if they are very far apart, get in touch

with them only for the moment the thought experiment.

Just think of the human object the farthest from our planet Earth

: the Voyager 1 probe, launched during the summer 1977 to study the outer planets

of the Solar System.

It is now at the edge of this system, a little beyond the heliopause,

which is a kind of border with the interstellar medium.

So, if it's been forty years since this satellite travels at a speed far from

ridiculous on our scale (more than 61000 km / h), he only recently left the

system that saw it born.

Reaching the nearest star is not not for tomorrow.

And this is only a small instrument, no shuttle carrying men.

But this kind of questioning is inherent to humanity.

The abundant and imaginative literature of science fiction shows us every day

how much our species is concerned about that question.

Just see the endless list of hit movies made these last twenty

years to realize it ... And even if it can make you smile, let's make it

well be aware of his involvement in terms of representation we have of ourselves.

It would be a new narcissistic wound for us if we had proof that we

are not alone

Until the Middle Ages, at least in the West, the man considers himself the creature

favorite of God, who would have done it to his image and he would have given the Earth and

all that it contains in management.

And this Earth is obviously at the center of the universe.

Because at the time it was around the Earth that the universe is turning and not the other way around.

At the time, for many the Earth is flat ... Sorry the flat

! In 2018, we proved by A + B that the Earth is round just like every human being has on

even Adn whether it's yellow, white, black, Straight or LGBT!

Here, as it was said! I'm calm, sorry, I have some after-effects

again ... some publications recently read ... or some YouTubers who send

satellites shouting "conspiracy" in their videos ... And the worst thing is they

make millions of views ... in short! Then come Copernicus and Galileo, who make

go down the sky on the Earth and who are moving this one on the periphery, turning now

around the Sun, like the other planets, neither more nor less, in a position and

a distance that does not seem to testify to any special privilege.

Even if we do not feel today this state of affairs as a disgrace is

as well as men could live it rebirth.

The pedestal on which they were placed stole under them.

This was not without debate, as attested by the heresy trials

from Galilee.

If the extraterrestrials exist or even just of life elsewhere than on Earth will require

to announce his existence to humanity.

A new study has been asked how would a meeting of the third type happen?

And the results are quite positive: according to the researchers, the discovery of aliens

could even cause a wave of comfort confirming that we and more generally

the phenomenon of life are not cases isolated in the universe! Although there is

still no direct evidence of their existence, the extraterrestrial hypothesis or rather

of extraterrestrial life elsewhere in the universe seems validated by the statistics.

There is indeed no reason that others solar systems like ours it's

to say in which exist at least one telluric planet at the right distance from

his star, and featuring the chemical bricks necessary for the development of life (

water), do not exist.

In our galaxy alone, there would be less 100 billion planets.

And there are hundreds of billions of galaxies in the observable universe.

Obviously the big problem that prevents us so far to make contact with others

civilizations (it is not for lack of tried and try again) these are the

huge distances that potentially separate us of them.

So it seems like a real discovery of aliens looks more like

to that of a microbial life elsewhere than on Earth.

Even so, how would humanity react? by learning confirmation of existence

of life elsewhere than on Earth? "It is official, we are not alone in the universe.

An evolved life form has been spotted on the exoplanet CHEP-Aqua. "

How would we react if tomorrow such news was front page news

? Panic ? Anguish? Mistrust ? Or on the contrary hope, joy and optimism?

I think there is something in kind of comforting in knowing

that life is not an accident that is not arrived only once here [...] maybe

that makes us feel a little less fragile or a little less alone in the vastness

from space.

For example, the Martian meteorite "Allen Hills" containing a magnetite crystal

"necessarily formed by a microbe" affirmed geologists in 1996.

Or the hypothesis of a "sphere of Dyson" - that is to say of a structure intended

to capture the solar energy of a star - built by an extraterrestrial civilization

to explain the variations in brightness of the star "KIC".

But also, more recently, the discovery of the Trappist-1 system with 7 exoplanets

rocky, containing water, and located for many of them in the "zone

living "around their star.

In parallel, the researchers questioned half a thousand people and asked them

to describe how these would imagine reacting if they were told

the discovery of an extraterrestrial microbial life.

The American psychology professor Michael Varnum, researcher at State University

from Arizona, tried to bring an answer to this question.

To do this, he and his team delivered to an analysis (via computer software)

terms used in reactions to articles mentioning a potential discovery

of extraterrestrial life.

Another sample of people, with he also about 500 people, was then

separated into two groups.

One was confronted with an article describing the possible existence of life forms on

Mars in the past of the red planet, and the other to an article dealing with an advanced

in the creation of artificial life on Earth.

Verdict: reactions to the announcement of a possible extraterrestrial life are overall positive.

Much more than the creation of cells synthetic.

These results have been published in the magazine Frontiers in psychology en

January 2018.

Other work conducted on another news relating to the asteroid Oumuamua do not have

still being published, but were presented during the meetings

annuals of the American Association for the advancement of the sciences that stand

February 15-19, 2018 in Austin, Texas.

These are in the same direction as the previous: most comments

rather welcome with curiosity and optimism the assumption that this form asteroid

elongated, reddish, rich in metal and organic material, conceals

actually an alien ship.

Hypothesis which, after verification, proved wrong.

However, "if we learn one day that we are not alone in the universe, we

take it pretty well! "At least if this form of life does not look forward to

form of a swarm of fighting ships ...

We are really looking for the right place and in the right way?

The most important question in my opinion is the way, I still can not

to understand why today, in the year 2018, we still wonder if he

there is life on Encelade or Titan (let's say, located outside the habitable area)

while continuing to seek life on exoplanets with such conditions

than ours? ... I'm sorry, I'm racing, I'm resuming ...

Today Nasa tells us that outside of the habitable zone, life may be

possible ... Under layers of ice, a telluric satellite can be warm thanks

to the gravitation of a planet, or microbial thanks to geysers ...

Nevertheless, we continue to search for planets close to their stars in the hope

to find liquid water! It's nonsense for me ... the answer

probably far exceeds the understanding and logic ... We should also investigate

elsewhere, we may find life outside of a habitable area, we

will discover life outside our criteria usual research ... I mean by

there, an organization that would not need light or oxygen or water

! After all, what do we know about life for dismiss all possibilities of finding it

while the one and only model we let's get it ... it's us ...

I think I know we are not ... an example model ...

If there is something horrible and sticky green guys I hope they

take care of their planets rather than to look for another to adapt to them ...

So how would we ultimately model and unique? ...

I invite you to subscribe and to visit my Tipeee page, as you know YouTube

has changed its regulations, look at my videos for you it's free, me it

it takes me no time to realize them so to reward me, a little blue thumb

and a comment the friends! It allows me to be better referenced!

To finish my video with a little hope, I hope that Elon Musk will have a day like

project to invest in the radio wave for send quick bursts to civilizations

who will answer us perhaps! I could maybe at that moment, do

a video following this one! See you soon !

iZi Drumming - Ethno Rythme 2 - Reggae - Duration: 7:10.

iZi Drumming

... drums for all ...

by Hervé Chiquet

Hi iZi drummers

and welcome on the every drummers's channel

Today, we are going to work

on the first variation of an unavoidable music genre

the Reggae

Let's go !

As for the first video about the train beat,

we will firstly see what every limb does,

then, we will associate them

and finally, we will have the complete rhythm

there is no big difficulties

but the fact that de strong beat is not the first one

as we can see in a majority of the binary rhythms

first exercise, we will see the hi-hat's role,

which is pretty simple

but has an accent on the 2nd and 4th beat

that correspond to the way the guitar plays.

2nd exercise, the cross stick,

nothing awful for we only play the 3rd time

in the 3rd exercise,

the bass drum plays the same thing

than the cross stick

Let's see our limb's combination

In the 4th exercise,

we will play the hi-hat and the cross stick

5th exercise, cross stick and bass drum

6th exercise, hi-hat and bass drum

7th exercise,

we assemble our 3 limbs

et we are ready to play the Reggae.

Of course, I advice you

to listen to the best in this genre,

you will find a few useful links

down below in the description

If you would like to strengthen your knowledge in the world music,

you can order my first method on my website.

Thank you a lot for having watched

this new ethno rhythm's video

And if you enjoyed,

please leave a like, share or subscribe

Beautiful - George and Thibault [Official Video] - Duration: 3:04.

I met a girl, I met her in the bar

But when I saw her, I knew she was the one

She was sitting there on a barstool, drinking all alone

So I went to sit next to her, and looked her in the eyes

I had a feeling running through me that I'd never felt before

that if I messed up this chance, I'd be thinking ever more

Ooohhhh

She was beautiful as ever

Ooohhhh

I wish we could be together

I was sitting there wondering, why she was all alone

Looking all bored as she stared down at her phone

beautiful as ever

I said hello mister barman, can I buy her her next drink

As she turned around towards me I gave her a little wink

She flicked her hair out her face and smiled at the floor

The only words I could say were "you are beautiful"

Oooohhhh

She was beautiful as ever

Ooohhhh

I wish we could be together

I asked her why she was sitting there

staring at her phone

How somebody so beautiful could be drinking here alone

beautiful as ever

I wish we could be together

mhh mhh

She was beautiful as ever

mhh mhh

I wish we could live for ever

Ooohhh

She was beautiful as ever

Ooohhh

I wish we could live forever

Ooohhhh

(forever)

She was beautiful as ever

(oh, no no no)

Why Does My Cat MEOW So Much? - Animal Facts - Duration: 5:01.

"Meow" There are few among us that don't know which animal makes that sound.

Of course, it's a cat, but we don't always know what he's trying to say, especially

when he won't stop.

Cats use other vocalizations -- such as yowling, hissing, and growling -- to communicate with

each other.

Meowing is reserved for their communications with people.

From "Hello!" to hunger, here are some possible explanations for meowing.

Let's get started.

But, before we start, take a moment to like and subscribe for more fun, fauna facts.

HI

Sometimes your cat just wants to say, "Hello"

[Hello, is it me your looking for?]

It's just that simple.

He's a companion and he likes to see you, so naturally, especially if you are just returning

home from work, he just wants to say "Hi".

We publish every Monday and Friday.

So, hit that notification icon to not miss a single fact.

ATTENTION

Secondly, it may just be because he wants attention.

Other than hunger, this is one of the most common "causes" of excessive meowing.

Cats are easily bored and they like to play.

This doesn't mean you should drop everything you're doing and pay him attention every

time.

If you'd like to change this behavior, wait until he quiets to give him the attention.

Rewarding your cat for his calmness can help reduce the meowing.

But, it can take some time.

Be sure to spend time with your kitty every day (he's part of your family, after all).

Playing with your cat also provides a proper amount of exercise, essential for his well-being,

especially if he's the only cat in the household.

"I'M HUNGRY!"

Our cat Rusty meows for two reasons: attention and FOOD.

If Rusty's food bowl is empty, he becomes quite vocal.

And over time he's become quite accustomed to a ritual of being fed at certain times.

He makes sure you're aware of this schedule, especially for dinner when he gets canned

food.

ILLNESS

If your cat is constantly meowing, but showing no interest in food, medical attention may

be necessary.

Cats are good at hiding illnesses, but he may be trying to communicate that he doesn't

feel well.

If this behavior is something new in your cat, it's worth a trip to the veterinarian.

STRESS

Cats don't respond particularly well to change and can cause them quite a bit of stress.

Changes in the home, new people, and new animals can be just a few of the stress causing changes

made in a cat's life.

Obviously, he can't tell you directly what's stressing him out, so keep an eye on changes

to his behavior if you've made changes in his lifestyle.

Don't over coddle him though.

Interact with him and give him space to get accustomed to the changes.

IN HEAT

If your cat is female and not spayed, well there is a high probability that she is in

heat.

Cats are "seasonally polyestrus", which means that they have multiple estrus cycles during

the breeding season.

Female cats in heat can become very vocal suddenly.

Most estrus cats become very affectionate, even demanding; they persistently rub against

people or objects such as furniture, rubbing against their owners and constantly demanding

attention.

They roll on the floor.

These behavior changes often become annoying to owners, and sometimes owners think their

cat has some unusual illness.

Do yourself and your kitty a favor, have her spayed for hers and your sanity.

Males are also noisy if they detect a cat in heat nearby.

OLD AGE

The last is old age and dementia.

Just like people, your cat can become forgetful or confused in old age.

Disorientation is not uncommon, and your cat may meow out of frustration or confusion.

If your cat is getting older and has become more vocal in his old age, consult your vet

to see what kind of help you can get.

Meowing is a way that your cat communicates.

Since his vocabulary is more limited than yours, it's your job to determine what he's

trying to tell you.

Interact with your cat and pay attention to him.

He is after all part of your family.

Bye bye

HOW TO ADJUST FORK AND REAR SHOCK OF THE MTB - Duration: 8:28.

Hello guys today let's see how to adjust the suspension of our mountain bike, first of all we must understand if in our

Fork and air or spring as we show? let's see from this thing here we have an example of two bikes

one, with a fork

spring-loaded and one with the air fork, the air fork has a valve

inside a cap like this

and he has a valve like that

of the tube valve america is called

while the spring fork only has an external register in this way

Not, it regulates more or less hard. The forks must be calibrated according to our weight but also based on our guide why

not all of us drive the same way, so basically

one, less expert, I recommend the fork

Slightly softer while a more expert in the guide I recommend the fork

Slightly harder. The first thing to see and know your weight and let's see on the table that is written on the fork

let's make an example, I weigh 75 kg they tell you 72 81

125 140 psi

On the 80mm and 85 100 forks on the 100 120 fork

to inflate our fork do not use either a pump or a compressor I recommend but it takes this tool

here it is called a high pressure pump and specially

Created to use our mountain bike forks and shock absorbers

ok the first thing to do e

inflate

As indicated in the table at the recommended pressure

This is the fork from 100 so I basically recommend to inflate at 70 85 psi

Ok inflated in the pressure indicated, from the house we try the famous Sag, climb up the bike

putting this signal at the bottom of this sign and mount a bicycle without it

Push then slowly climb on the bike and try to send down a fork only for our weight then

let's go back

and as you can see we have this space

That's about 25 percent of all

The ride and this is a perfect calibration like sinking like Sag, if your fork

mounting above results

the signal the highest means that it is deflated so you have to recharge it there

remember that you have to load the fork at least once a month to be sure if it shows signal at the bottom

Not, it moves means that the fork is too swollen and therefore you have to deflate

half to the pressure indicated in the table

I have recently tried a fork of a guy who makes enduro races at national and international level so one who walks

I got on it and it was quite tough compared

At my standard, he also weighs about 75 kg. like me though, it keeps you harder because

Going strong

The fork must be more responsive so if, but perhaps it is a bit harder

It is more reactive and therefore considers more afloat than a calibration

standard however I recommend you

always stay with the standard settings that tell them why the bike

If it is very stiff and much harder to drive it is clearly secret, as He says my expert friend

And that you have to move your arms. Legs not only make the bicycle work because

It would not make sense so if one wants to go strong he has to start working both in arms and legs

in addition to suspensions

same, this also applies to suspension for the shock absorber

Also here we have a signal indicating the Sag so we must always stay

on a 25 percent of the maximum shock travel

It always inflates the same way and that here we have a plug to inflate it and then we have the register

Of the return here the register. Of the return it is necessary for

Braking the return more or less fast what it means means that if a fork comes back slowly

It always remains closed if a fork returns too fast

you have this blow that you get on the handlebars and then a little annoying we have to look

To find a middle ground, I advise you to stay on

unbridled on three quarters

So not all unbridled but about three quarters then the other advice that there

Do and if you are a beginner who just started riding a mountain bike,

calibrate the suspension as they tell you to series then when you are more experienced, you will be faster to

Address both the descents and the obstacles there

You will realize yourself that you must have a fork

Slightly harder to get a better response from suspensions is very important

The other thing before adjusting the suspensions

And adjust well The tire pressure because the tire is the first thing

amortizes the first from the fork another secret that wants to unveil for more performance

from suspensions

Verify that our bicycle is balanced. In the sense that the center of the bike

More or less and this means. In the middle between the two wheels

This is not the center of the pedals but then forward. We if we push in this area here

the bike

must sink

Same both in front and behind

As you can see this bike fine tuned

Both front and back

sinks

in the same way

same then if the rear shock absorber

It sinks more than the front one

It means that it is unloaded and therefore must be inflated viceversa if it sinks more The fork with respect to the shock absorber

you have to inflate the fork the return must be regulated below

Here is a lever, we record the return

What is the return is this that sends the fork back

ok

return compression the fork must return quickly not too slow and then I repeat

I

I would recommend you

a return

Regulated three-quarters regards means in the sense

unbridled to the maximum let's go back a quarter what I'm explaining is an example

Standard of regulations. Of the fork

Then later there are also other ways to adjust the fork to the maximum, but let's say a lot to give you

A flourish to understand how the calibration works and it is useless to buy a high-end bike if later we are not able to regulate

the fork and the shock absorber

it's like buying

a high-end camera

And we use it automatically instead of using it manually. I hope I have also been helpful in this tutorial

Put a like if you liked this video I recommend subscribe to my DIY bike channel

see you at the next tutorial hello guys

This year there will certainly be no drought problems, not a cow. Stop more. More to have here?

Todd Chrisley Says He "Would Have the Best Looking F--king Grandkids" After Hearing Tyler Henry's Prediction for His Daughter

Love comes when you least expect it!  On the season three premiere of Hollywood Medium, Tyler Henry sits down with Savannah Chrisley to have a reading.

Savannah is joined by her dad Todd Chrisley, who had a reading with Tyler last season, and is in the other room giving his take on Tylers predictions for his daughter.  Right off the bat, Tyler gets some information about Savannahs love life.

Hes having me joke about your love life.

Hes wanting to say, 'Its going to be fine, its going to be fine, but hes like, 'No ones good enough for her, Tyler reveals to the reality star.  Basically the gist of this is that theyre having me acknowledge that in order to move forward in a way thats fulfilling romantically, you kind of either have to fish or cut bait, he tells a visibly stunned Savannah.

She knows exactly who hes talking about, and agrees it is time for her to cut bait. .

However, Tyler has some more shocking news to deliver. Regardless of who we do or dont have in our life at the present moment, he is giving me a name, Tyler reveals.

It doesnt mean its one soulmate, it just means its a potential person. There is a reference to a James thats coming in.  Savannah and her father instantly know who Tyler is talking about.

While Savannah is too stunned to speak, her dad is rather excited by the revelation. Holy s--t, he says before revealing his true feelings about the mystery man.

I would have the best looking f--king grandkids in the world. Way to aim high, Todd! . Watch the video above to see the shocking reading! .

Watch the season three premiere of Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 9 p.m., only on E!.

Shooting film: Chicago, Day 2 ~ Bronica SQ-Ai, HP5+ - Duration: 12:46.

Good morning

Okay good morning, so I'm here at the

gate or whatever the name is

trying to take a photo here. I'm gonna do this one

I don't know if you can see... focus... there you go

So I'm trying to avoid all the lights that are gonna be very ugly in a black and white photo. Or I don't like them

I'm gonna try to take

just this frame here

we'll see how that works

This is trippy

This is beautiful

With the sunrise there and all these buildings, but I'm not seeing any photos

I only took one so far of the bean with those buildings, but

Other than that, I haven't seen anything. it doesn't mean that there are no photos here to be taken

It's just I've not seen them or something, I don't know

I like to take like simple, clean,

minimalistic shots if you will. I'm not seeing any here unless it's the top of buildings, and that's something that doesn't really excite me

too much and

About the bean itself that is called the cloud gate. I just learned that. I don't see any

Shots at sunrise or at night there because of all the lights that are being reflected

and they have

Extra lights to illuminate the thing. I don't think that would look good in black and white, so what I'm gonna

Do is come back maybe today or tomorrow that is gonna be partly cloudy and take a long exposure of the bean, I think

That during the day. I think that that could be cool

I'm gonna keep walking around here a little bit to see if I find any shots

Yeah, move on to another part of the city later today.

Okay, so I found these trees

I really like that one

Because it's kind of isolated from the other ones and I think it could make a great photo for just the silhouette of that tree

Just like this

It's gonna be loud, but yeah, I'm gonna try this shot, I kind of like it

I just need to wait for when there are no cars because look

Come on person

I think I got it, after 10 minutes waiting here

Okay, so I'm trying to take this... a long exposure of these... I don't you see there. Let me show you

there but there are

There are like three lighthouses there or whatever they are

I like how this one comes from the left that one comes from the right, and then you have that other one there

I think it could be interesting. So this lens is not long enough. Those towers, or lighthouses, or whatever.. they're gonna

be pretty small in the frame, so I'm gonna use the orange filter to make them

Stand out a little bit more. They are white and they are against like blue

Water and sky, so they should be pretty visible in the photo

But I'm gonna really make sure with the orange filter that you can see them when you look at the photo

I'm gonna be using the

Super stopper. This is like a 15-stop ND filter. I'm gonna be here for the next seven minutes

As you can see I'm standing here in front of the camera to block the light from the Sun

So there is no flare or anything

Yeah, seven minutes here

Of course I'm taking another long exposure now. I'm trying to capture those birds

I think they're geese. So this is what I'm trying to do, as you can see the water is gonna

Take like three quarters of the frame and the sky just one quarter of a frame

We have the jetty here with the birds that you can barely see

But yeah believe me there are birds there, and what I like about this jetty is that it's not

Parallel to the horizon as you can see it's lower on the left, higher on the right, and I think that adds some

dynamic stuff to the photo, otherwise it would be a little bit boring

I think that this way it could work

So I'm not using the orange filter this time because the birds are dark

So I don't want to make the water and the sky even darker

So you can still see them. Once again, 15-stop ND filter, f/16. I have the mirror up locked up and

T-mode on the lens and that's all

Now wait

So, I just took this shot of that, I think it's an eagle not really sure but

There you go, I used the orange filter to make that mark of the plane pop in the background now

It's moved to the right, but in my photo it should be more going behind the Eagle

Yeah, we'll see

So I was heading back to the hotel, but I ran into this cool fountain, it's like the Buckingham Fountain

But I've been here for like 20 minutes trying to find a good angle

I've tried from far away like right now

But I don't really like it. I've tried putting a building on top of the fountain. I've tried a close up

but I don't really see it

So I didn't want to give up and I think I found one that I

kind of like I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna take this photo or not, but

Take a look

Look two birds

Come back to the frame, come back. more birds. birds will help. come on. There you go, left, closer, closer, closer.

Well that was awesome I was not counting on the birds to be in the frame that might have made the photo better

But I'm gonna take another exposure just in case it made it worse

Okay, so I'm back at the hotel, I'm so tired. I woke up really early

I didn't have a good sleep last night

But I think it was a good morning after all, had some troubles at first finding some compositions

but I think I took, I hope, I took good shots

So far in two days, I shot two rolls, which is pretty good for me

I usually shoot, I think, much more than that. I'm trying to be more selective in this trip.

Anyway, I'm gonna take a nap, have lunch later, and then I'll see you guys again for

The evening shooting, I don't know where I'm going, but I'm gonna go somewhere

It is completely overcast which is nice because it's different. Nap has been taken, getting ready to go out, gonna grab a coffee

I'll be right back. I'm gonna leave you with this view

Whoo

Yeah, you got tea. We are ready to go, this time Rachel is coming. We only have two hours and 15 minutes left

So let's do it

So this is the riverwalk

Where you can take a walk along the river, and that's what we're gonna do

Take photos, probably of buildings and rivers and bridges

Yeah

We LOVE Tarleton! - Duration: 7:12.

So, I'm Jolena Waddell I am faculty in the Animal Science and Veterinary

Technology department here at Tarleton which is in the College of Agriculture.

Bobby Waddell and I work in campus life I worked with our Greek organizations,

our Duck Camp, our Transition Week, our leadership programs and service programs.

We were married in 2005. We've been married for twelve years. We have two sons that are eight and three. Thinking about it we

fell in love on this campus and my parents fell in love on this campus and

your parents fell in love on this campus. I think it's important to give to

Tarleton simply because we have to provide opportunities for our students

to be successful in the reality is that takes resources to make that happen.

It takes a campus that's committed and dedicated the facilities to make that

happen, but students to be able to afford that.

Yeah, I have students in my office all the time that our first generation or

they have scholarships and support from from donors and if they didn't have that

support they wouldn't be here. We've been blessed and it's good to be able to

bless others absolutely. At Tarleton I am a server Support Manager within IT s

department. So I am an associate professor in the College of Business in

the Department of Management. Cori bought me this shirt I think it was

our first semester. It's kind of just the been a great story of our

relationship, because it just keeps lasting the test of time. One of the

things I like most about giving is knowing that it's a time of my life where

I can be a giver. There was a lot of time early in her life that's the shirt the

stretched old shirt where you know we we were we needed more than we gave. I

remember when we were freshmen we were eating somewhere in town and Dr. McCabe

saw us and bought our meal that evening. 16 to 18 years ago

remembering the president of the university taking the time to come over

and purchase our milk. It should become a

way of life for us and I think for a lot of Tarleton employees and staff and

faculty and everybody I think it is a way of life. Hi, my name is Milam Hefner and

I work in the office of Academic Affairs as a manager of academic budgets and

faculty records. hi my name is Alana Hefner and I'm the director of Career

Services and we work with students for the next step of their life. For me it's

a it's a job that you're actually serving a higher purpose here you're not

just working to make a dollar you're working to support kids and kids are

getting an education. I personally like to contribute because there are

departments who serve students well and they'll work 17 80 hours a week on a

little micro budget and have to go out and fundraise so they can continue the

rest of their services that's why I give back. And we take bleep purple at our

house very seriously.

we were just happy to end up here because couples in academia have a

really hard time ending up at the same university much less in the same

building a floor apart from each other, which is the situation we have. As

someone who received support through scholarships I know how important it is

to have some of those opportunities and I know that many of the students

wouldn't have some of the opportunities that they do have if it weren't for our

support. One of the best things that I enjoy about seeing students get

scholarships is seeing that they're now going to be able to do something that

it's gonna be a lot easier for them to attain just because some people gave

some money. The return is so much more than what it is that we give. I can't say

that I came to Tarleton from Stanford, Texas having in mind that I would meet

my lifelong spouse here, but when it happened I am so excited that it did.

Tarleton was what's very important to me in all in in developing me when you

think about those deep connections you want to be a part of it you want to

continue to be a part of something that was so significant to you and you want

to give back. Well, now it's it's my time, as Angie said, to make sure that we're

giving back so that other students can experience that, you know. the Feeling

that I get we make, I can't put words to it I just know it's our duty to

help others and just be that good alumnus of the anyway that we can

help out and assist and make it maybe easier for those that are coming up that

that's what we need to do.

He was study buddy first and then we got married in May of '93 that was my story.

Yeah, so it will be 25 years in May. We had our wedding on a Friday, had to go to

graduation on Saturday, then Sunday left for a conference. That was our honeymoon at a conference. I love

giving to Tarleton, because I love people I love to help and I'm in the

counseling profession that's kind of defines my life I give to help. I give

because I see it makes a difference. We're very lean here and I know the

money I give goes to help students and that's what we're about. We fell in love

at Tarleton, but Tarleton is a home away from home I mean now it's my home. We've

had a lot of experiences of people in our lifetimes that have given for the

betterment of our family or for our success and you have an opportunity to

give back and return the favor. I won't name a name but she needed more money

and so we helped her and by the way it wasn't just me it was my former dean

Jill Burk and Anne Callahan, it makes me want to cry. Anyways, she didn't have money and she needed to drive a ride

to her field placement and we pitched in in our department to get that done and

she is now teaching in her second year of teaching and very successful, that

makes you feel good. One of my goals in this role is to really develop a culture

of philanthropy have a conversation with both alumni and current students, faculty,

and staff about what it means to be philanthropic at Tarleton what it means

to give back so I think that's pretty important and kind of a long-range

vision of where we're going with institutional advancement.

Which Arsenal players could win them Carabao Cup final against Manch ● News Now ● #AFC - Duration: 2:24.

Graeme Le Saux believes Arsenal's two new signings will be crucial against Manchester

City in Sunday's Carabao Cup final.

They will come up against a formidable City side who are cruising towards the Premier

League title.

And Le Saux says January arrivals Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will

have to raise their game.

"I don't think the Gunners will play a defensive style of game and they I think they will try

to take the game to City," he said, speaking to Betfair .

"Henrik Mkhitaryan will be a key player in this match,

because he's going to be the one that plays in between the lines and could be the catalyst

for creating precious chances for them.

"Alexandre Lacazette scored up at the Etihad but he is out through injury so it's a really

good opportunity

and stage for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to show his quality and importance to his new

team.

"Lacazette just hasn't seemed to have fulfilled the potential everyone hoped he would.

He came to Arsenal with pedigree, and while he's scored goals, he just hasn't featured

as much as you would have thought and he looks like he doesn't quite fit in.

"Pep Guardiola's team regularly have over 60 per cent possession in games so that shows

what their principles are -

keeping the ball, playing out from the back and just dominating teams.

"Again that's a sign of how much quality they have and how hard they are to stop."

"If you're not playing as your best as a defender you're going to get exposed

and if you're not playing your best as a creative player, the limited chances you get, you won't

take.

"Teams get very few chances against City, so if you're going to beat them you have to

take every single one that comes along.

Prueba esta Función que debería tener Whatsapp - Duration: 3:02.

welcome to a new video today let's see a function that should have official whatsapp

there are times when you are at work or somewhere where you can not answer

to the whatsapp messages in that case we're going to see an option that is not yet available

in official whatsapp and this function is going to reply to messages automatically

so if you're using official whatsapp you I recommend that you try this version and for

do not lose the chats we must save the conversations before and uninstall the official version and install

this version

open the application and click on accept and continue and introduce our number

phone as we would with the application official and we wait for the message with the code

of verification now very important we press in restoring the copy of the chats of the

saved conversations

this option is within more settings and it's called autoreply

up here we have the three variables that you can give the one below is all that is

any incoming message will activate the automatic response, equal means that

to activate the automatic response we will have to receive a message equal to what we put

up here, this option is maybe too much restrictive so I'm going to choose the one above

and is that the message contains the word hello

here I'll post the autoresponder message and for example, I'll be at work, then

I answer

here if we leave it blank the answer it would be instantaneous so I'll give it two seconds

so it does not look like we have a robot answering messages

and here I'll leave it in that it only responds to contacts and not groups and finally we can choose

that this activates the automatic response in a certain schedule that could be the schedule

of our work for example but I here I'll leave it blank to do the test,

and finally we activate the switch

I'm going to do a test so if I write how are you doing nothing does the message arrive

to the phone on the right but it is not activated the automatic answer, but if I write hello

how are you in this case after two seconds I get the automatic answer because it contains

the word hello that I had written before in the configuration, we can add more rules

more words that activate automatic responses that would work together with the rules

that we have already established finally comment that this option we can

get installing some applications in google play but I've tried them and I have not

they work just as well as through this version of whatsapp I say goodbye here

we see in a next video.
