Hi everyone, I hope you are having a wonderful day and had a good February!

It is that time again to plan with me but this time, it's a very special one because

I am collaborating with 3 other amazing, sweet, and super talented artists: Cristina from

MyLifeinaBullet, Jenny from Jenny Journals, and my new friend Nicole from Nicole's Journal.

Although I am still very new to this community, I am already overwhelmed by all of the love

and support within it.

I believe in bringing others up instead of being competitive because we have so much

to learn from each other.

And there is also enough room for everyone to be great.

So I am thankful to be a part of your journaling journey as much as you are part of mine.

Our theme for March is called Memories of Spring, each of us answering the question:

"What do you remember most about Spring?"

Since we haven't revealed our videos to each other yet, I am so excited to see what

everyone created, so hop on over to their videos along with me and leave them lots of

love!

I'll post all of their video links along with all of my supplies and other goodies

down in the description.

Growing up and even now, I remember the songs of the birds the most as the weather begins

to warm and the snow begins to melt.

There's also this distinct smell to the air, but I couldn't find a way to capture

that through my drawings, so this month as the birds begin to sing, we'll follow the

journey of the Bear as I ink my setup.

While the last wisp of cold air leaves the season, the bear, having departed from his

friend the bunny, is alone and a little lost, encased in a wreath of beautiful blooming

leaves.

He smells the spring air, making its way to warm up the land, and as he looks up, he finds

a beautiful and curious bird chirping as cheerful as ever.

After inking with my 03 micron, I went back in with my gold gelly roll and a Light grey

Zig Kuretake Brush pen to add some more dimension.

Underneath the month, I also added some ripped blush cardstock and the phrase, oh, hello Spring

The bear is struggling with his independence.

There was a comfort in having a companion that is now replaced with a void, that seemed

to consume him in sadness.

The sweet melody of the bird and the spring air reminds him to try be better.

He tries to find peace within himself, to find beauty in being alone, and to try to

feel true happiness.

He follows the song of the bird through the warming waters as the plants begin to grow

out of the tough soil, defying gravity and rising tall and magnificent.

These are his inspirations.

Once the watercolors are dry, I went back in with my micron to tie it back in with the

rest of the spread.

And I also added some highlights using my white gelly roll.

The painting turned out a little different than I imagined, but it still looks pretty good.

I'll have this painting and the entire setup in my shop, so that check out if you're interested!

The painting will then go here and on the next page I have my mood of the month.

This is the month of emergence, of rising, of overcoming.

Underneath that is an inspiring quote by Nancy Lopez, she says: Doubt yourself and you doubt

everything you see.

Judge yourself and you see judges everywhere.

But if you listen to the sound of your own voice, you can rise above doubt and judgment.

And you can see forever.

Just as the birds build their nests one twig at a time, so can the bear emerge from his

gloom and build a strong foundation to this new chapter of his life.

I did change my 3 month calendar spread a little bit and simplified it to one page.

This is one of the many spreads that you're going to see over and over again

because It is so useful when it comes time to plan ahead.

I have this month larger up top and then the next two months, smaller below.

After I inked the spread I, again went back in with my gold gelly roll and then with the

brush pen to keep things consistent.

On the next page, I am going to add in my video ideas for the month, any upcoming projects,

or product ideas for my shop.

This way I can brainstorm ideas and have a permanent place to put them or refer back to them.

Moving on to my monthly calendar spread.

I don't think I've changed this one since I started journaling and that is okay because

it works very well for me.

I have the title to the left and then birds chirping and chattering away on a branch up top.

Once I finish up the calendar, I added the same blush card stock to the right and my monthly goals.

This month, I want to work on my book, eat healthy, work out 5 days a week, recently,

it's been about 4 days, but that's also okay.

Learn something new everyday and I want to try to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I've realized that I am so quick to think poorly of others and I wouldn't want to

be treated like that, so I want to try to be better.

Also, my brother is helping with my website, so that's where that is right now.

I think it's one of those projects that is ongoing.

Next are my trackers.

There are 31 boxes for the 31 days of the month.

And for everyday that I draw or eat well or exercise I can fill in those boxes any way

that I want.

On top of each box are two versions of the sun and then leaves similar to the ones in

the beginning to tie to all together.

Through his emotional journey, the bear is exhausted.

He allows himself to take a nap, sound and comfortable, surrounded by the Spring air

carrying the melody of the chattering chirping birds.

He is at peace within and without, letting go of the past and being fully in the present.

This is my page of milestones.

If I accomplish anything large or small, I'll write them here, to remember to celebrate

even the littlest of victories.

This bear is also my reminder that it's okay to take a break from time to time and

to take care of myself.

After his nap, he continues to explore what the world has to offer and is overwhelmed

as his enters into a field of blooming flowers, amidst the tall mountains.

A beauty that he would not have found if he surrendered to his loneliness.

The enclosed wreathe in the beginning has changed to an open wreathe, allowing the birds

to fly beyond as roses begin to bloom among the leaves.

I then added in accents with my gold gelly roll and then underneath the title, is my

own quote that sums up the story, it says: Find peace within and you'll find happiness.

As I go through my weeks, I'll fill in my weekly to do list on the right.

This has been working so well for me because I don't feel constricted within boxes and

I have the room to be flexible depending on the week.

I have to admit, that the spread turned out pretty good.

I was struggling a little bit with the concept and I wasn't feeling at my most creative

state.

Though, I did learn and I have been learning, that you have to just start, whether that

is sketching out circles or mindless doodles.

Inspiration doesn't come to you, you have to make your way to it.

but the trick is to put all those emotions aside and just begin.

Melania Trump is still overseas on her first presidential trip and just used her time in

Italy to make a shocking personal announcement about something she could no longer hide.

She made history in the process as the only First Lady ever in the White House to reveal

what she did, hours after emerging from the hospital where she felt she needed to bring

her secret out into the public.

The First Lady has developed somewhat of a new habit that's become more obvious in

her travels, to those looking a little closer than others.

What she recently began doing in the states has since carried on overseas, leading to

an unbelievable miracle revealed just hours after leaving a children's hospital in Rome.

Being the quiet, private person that she is and respected for, there are some personal

details of Melania not known to the public.

That's recently changed after what ended up being a more religious trip to Italy than

a political one.

Melania has made a habit out of visiting sick children in hospitals at home and abroad,

making a point to spend time at one in each country she visits on this week-long trip.

Her love of children is palpable in the pictures that come from these visits and now we know

that there's a much deeper reason for that.

The Daily Mail reports:

"When Melania Trump recited The Lord's Prayer before a Melbourne, Florida presidential

rally in February, the Internet went hog wild."

"Now we know one reason why the first lady began with 'Let us pray' and 'Our Father

who art in heaven' when she introduced the president that evening: She's a practicing

Roman Catholic."

"Her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham confirmed that to DailyMail.com on Wednesday, hours

after Pope Francis blessed a rosary for her at the Vatican."

Not only does this announcement about her faith make her the first First Lady since

the Kennedys to be a Catholic in the White House, but it's perhaps because of her deep

faith that something unfathomable happened after she left the hospital.

True to her faith, Mrs. Trump "spent time in prayer at the Vatican-affiliated Bambino

Gesù (Baby Jesus) Hospital, and laid flowers at the feet of a statue of the Madonna,"

according to Mail Online.

While she was at the hospital, she talked to each tiny patient individually not just

about their likes and dreams, but also about their conditions they're struggling with.

With this insight into their lives, Melania got to know a little Greek boy in the Intensive

Care Unit who was in need of a heart.

He had been on the donor list for a while and time was running out.

While at his bedside talking to him and whispering sweet words of hope and encouragement to him,

Melania asked if she could pray for him.

He gladly accepted the offer and she prayed for healing and a miracle.

God not only heard her prayer, He wasted no time in answering it and performed a miracle

on this sweet child's behalf.

"Upon landing in Belgium, I learned a young boy and his family who had been waiting for

a heart transplant was informed that the hospital has found a donor," the First Lady said

in a statement.

"I read a book and held hands with this special little one just a few hours ago, and

now my own heart is filled with joy over this news."

Melania's frequent trips to children's hospitals are not for "photo ops" which

liberals claim they are.

It's clear that her heart is truly with these children who she cares deeply for, which

is something that the hateful left can't fathom feeling for strangers.

Her words said after this miracle as well as other hospital trips where she connected

with kids, truly speak to this incredible fact about our First Lady.

"To spend time speaking to and coloring with children who have such a positive spirit

despite illness was an amazing gift," Melania said.

"The time I spent with the little ones in the Intensive Care Unit is something I will

never forget, and I will pray for each of them daily."

Her faithful prayers for these "bambinos," as she affectionately referred to them as

when speaking to the Pope in Rome, are an incredible blessing as one lucky little boy

has recently experienced first hand.

As much as she's a gift to these kids, she's a blessing to our nation as well.

We are so fortunate to have a First Lady of faith in the White House who uses her trust

and belief in God to bless others.

There are many ways to lose a lot of weight fast.

However, most of them will make you hungry and unsatisfied.

If you don't have iron willpower, then hunger will cause you to give up on these plans quickly.

So in this lecture, i will show you, how to lose weight easily and fast.

The plan outlined here will: Reduce your appetite significantly.

Make you lose weight quickly, without hunger.

Improve your metabolic health at the same time.

Number one.

Cut Back on Sugars and Starches.

The most important part is to cut back on sugars and starches.

These are the foods that stimulate secretion of insulin the most.

If you didn't know already, insulin is the main fat storage hormone in the body.

When insulin goes down, fat has an easier time getting out of the fat stores and the

body starts burning fats instead of carbs.

Another benefit of lowering insulin is that your kidneys shed excess sodium and water

out of your body, which reduces bloat and unnecessary water weight.

It is not uncommon to lose up to 10 pounds (sometimes more) in the first week of eating

this way, both body fat and water weight.

This is a graph from a study comparing low-carb and low-fat diets in overweight/obese women.

The low-carb group is eating until fullness, while the low-fat group is calorie restricted

and hungry.

Cut the carbs, lower your insulin and you will start to eat less calories automatically

and without hunger.

Put simply, lowering your insulin puts fat loss on a topilot.

Number two.

Eat Protein, Fat and Vegetables.

Each one of your meals should include a protein source, a fat source and low carb vegetables.

Constructing your meals in this way will automatically bring your carb intake into the recommended

range of 20 to 50 grams per day.

The protein Sources are.

One.

Meat - Beef, chicken, pork, lamb, bacon, etc.

Two.

Fish and Seafood - Salmon, trout, shrimps, lobsters, etc.

Three.

Eggs, omega-3 enriched or pastured eggs.

The importance of eating plenty of protein can not be overstated.

This has been shown to boost metabolism by 80 to 100 calories per day.

High protein diets can also reduce obsessive thoughts about food by 60%.

Reduce desire for late-night snacking by half, and make you so full that you automatically

eat 441 fewer calories per day, just by adding protein to your diet.

Low Carb Vegetables are.

Broccoli.

Cauliflower.

Spinach.

Kale.

Brussels Sprouts.

Cabbage.

Swiss Chard.

Lettuce.

Cucumber.

Celery.

Don't be afraid to load your plate with these low carb vegetables.

You can eat massive amounts of them without going over 20 to 50 net carbs per day.

Fat Sources are.

Olive oil.

Coconut oil.

Avocado oil.

Butter.

Tallow.

Eat 2 to 3 meals per day.

If you find yourself hungry in the afternoon, add a 4th meal.

Don't be afraid of eating fat, trying to do both low carb and low fat at the same time

is a recipe for failure.

It will make you feel miserable and abandon the plan.

The best cooking fat to use is coconut oil.

It is rich in fats called medium-chain triglycerides.

These fats are more fulfilling than others and can boost metabolism slightly.

Number three.

Lift Weights 3 Times Per Week.

You don't need to exercise to lose weight on this plan, but it is recommended.

The best option is to go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week.

Do a warm up, lift weights, then stretch.

If you're new to the gym, ask a trainer for some advice.

By lifting weights, you will burn a few calories and prevent your metabolism from slowing down,

which is a common side effect of losing weight.

Studies on low-carb diets show that you can even gain a bit of muscle while losing significant

amounts of body fat.

If lifting weights is not an option for you, then doing some easier cardio workouts like

running, jogging, swimming or walking will suffice.
