might like that might speak to you some um today I'll be talking about some
important products I used for my kids that were very useful um for me and
hopefully this information will be useful for you too if not now maybe very
soon you never know let's go so I decided to do this video because there
was a lot of products I bought that I would definitely use again and again you
know when I was pregnant for the first time so this information will benefit
you if you're pregnant or if you're buying a gift for someone who's pregnant
or maybe you just you know exploring for the fun of it when we realized we were
pregnant you know in 2014 my husband and I were very happy and excited we were
nervous at the same time you know because we realized were having twins
within six months we were pregnant so I was overjoyed, we passed the three month
mark and then I started ordering on Amazon like crazy all right
the cribs the diapers the wipes I went all out I totally forgot there would be
baby showers and you know gifts and such that by the time I was seven months
pregnant I had everything I needed I didn't even
research baby food that's all that was the only thing that I didn't have when
the twins were born at another time I'll probably do another video of the
items that I wasted too much money on all right so after the kids were born
there were some things I used that I loved very much and there were others
that were almost useless I'll go over them now for those that are looking to
get baby things and save you some headache hopefully so all the
information will be listed down in the description box below so that you can
check out the items yourself just ten items that you cannot do without all
right they're the most important products you
need apart from clothing and shoes to start with all right this is not a
promoted video however I provided some links to the full um to the following
products you see probably on my left side on my right side so let's have fun
I asked myself these questions as I organized myself and prioritized my list
you know what car seat what booster blah blah blah so let's get into it what car seat
will you get will we get because we can't leave the hospital without one one
um in this case in our case two so I ordered two Chicco Keyfit 30 infant
carseat after much research we enjoyed using
them until the twins outgrew them so since we knew we would try for more kids we
placed them in storage and brought just one car seat out when we had our son on
recently just last year the second question what diaper brand will you use it
will either be Pampers or Huggie's are there any other brands yes there are but
I won't mention them here I researched about cloth diapering and I was gifted
the supplies but because of the multiple disposable diapers we got as gifts I
didn't really get to use them as much as I would have really wanted to we mainly
use and loved Huggies brand and Kirkland brand called Supreme we bought both of
them from our local Costco store the Kirkland brand they ran a little
bit bigger than the Huggies one so we always use their brand before we went up
in size with Huggies it kind of served like as an in-between size. For the
stroller we usually they sell car seat and the stroller as a package but it was
a big challenge and to get a twin stroller with the car seat combination
that I liked but Amazon delivered we went with um Chicco Cortina together
double stroller I know Chicco Cortina together double
stroller one more time Chicco Cortina together double stroller and our trips onwards
were you know effortless and it was very simple it was a little bit on the
heavier side though at 34 pounds but we loved it my hair is bugging me we recently
just sold it for 100 bucks because you know the kids are over three years old
now and they've definitely outgrown it we're currently using one of the car
seats for my little baby and since we only need one car seat um stroller I
decided to get a stroller you know just for one car seat so I went with Chicco
Lightway Plus Stroller which I'm loving right now I love it
I use it everywhere okay so the other question is well with the baby sleep
sleep is it a crib is it a bassinet actually in the first three months of
their lives they slept in the play yard together my girlfriend
gifted me and when they got too big for it they slept in one crib with all my
researching online I decided to go with cribs
I bought two cribs on Amazon it's called Stock Craft Calabria
crib and changer like I said I'll show them probably on my right side or on my
left side you know whatever it whatever you find it fine very good alright
the twins are three years old now and they're still and join the crib I
totally love the cribs and it's actually meant to last till the kids are all grown
you know because the crib can convert into a toddler bed
then into a daybed and then into a full-size twin bed the only thing you'll
just have to change is a couple of things here and there the only downside I believe so
far is that it's wooden I wish it was some sort of metal so that the wear and
tear of moving furniture around wouldn't you know would not damage it sooner
otherwise I believe I made a very good choice on this um on the cribs okay
so the other one is bottles all right so I ordered bottles from Amazon called
Tommee Tippee I know you've probably heard of them I saw them in a Babies R
Us um store and of course I fell in love with them
okay recently recently they upgraded the nipples to have um to to kind of
looks more like natural nipples for the baby so I use this product for the twins
and now I'm enjoying the upgraded look for my own baby now they come in five ounce
and nine ounce bottles and I believe some come in different colors like I
said so do check check them out I'm sure mommies will love this trust me
if you buy Tommee Tippee the other one is Philips I feel like it's too generic
and you know I'm a modern I call myself a modern mummy
so I need modern things Philips need to get their act together and upgrade already
what's hot of Ottawa what hot water flex flask will I use
you always need hot water when you're caring for a baby for feeding for mixing
for cleansing and for sterilizing so I got this nice aluminum flask from my
on the good trips and at home I use a different one it's bigger it holds 40
ounces of liquid especially with the twins I always need hot water on
the go I got it from the local Costco store Costco you know what they
should just pay me all right to just come there and shop they need to start paying me
alright and so the next thing wipes, what wipes we use to clean up messes
well for the baby now I'm loving Huggies natural care wipes the one with the plus
sign so far my baby doesn't have any diaper rash I'm surprised, with the twins
um they were a little bit younger and I think that might have played a role in
why they got diaper rash when they were younger we were using um baby wipes on
them and their butts got so red and rashy it was horrible I had to use
paper towels and warm water so if you're having any you know if you have any
reaction to diaper wipes just stop it altogether and just go with water you're
not gonna go wrong all right water on washcloths if you don't have wash
clothes you can always use paper towel I love what's our paper towel brand
the quilted quicker picker upper Bounty yes so I love using bounty anyway so far
Costco's Kirkland brand of wipes have the magic all right
Costco's Kirkland baby wipes is the best the best the best I say it again the
best I like it even better I love it better than Huggies okay trust me
Kirkland the only reason I'm using Huggies now is because we got them a
lot as gifts so that's why I've been using it but so far there's no diaper
rash so you can check those out Pamper white arm Pampers wipes don't
have enough moisture and I don't think they smell as nice at all you know maybe
because we bought fragrance free ones but you know I love fragrance I want my
babies bum to smell nice too after after all that stinky poops so you know
try those out as well diaper pail so now you have twins or
you have a baby and you have to take care of poop whether you like it or not
right so what diaper pail would keep the stinky poop and pee at bay initially I
didn't think I needed one I don't know why I was thinking that way I don't know
so with the twins we had double the poops and double the stink we survived
for about six months without a diaper pail pill and then I decided the punishment
was enough okay Amazon delivered once again Playtex
diaper genie is truly number one the refills you know the bags that you use
with them have a seven layered film and it does seal up the odor trust me you
don't want them escaping for any reason booster seats
what booster seat did you use so due to the limited space we have in our
apartment we needed a Space Saver booster even though the twins are three
years old now they still love and use their booster seats okay the one I got
was by fisher-price I don't have a lot of products from them but I know their
quality is is awesome their product all they last very long I remember when I was
a kid I'm sure I used a fisher-price um Walker
okay they're very good then they last for a long time the booster seats are
easy to assemble and easy to care for I hope you enjoy this product as I
have as I enjoyed using them for the twins to eat to draw on to play with
their toys you know it's easy to clean all you have to do is flip off the cloth
wash it um wash the plastic with water and you're good to go
toilet training right toilet training potty tools which one's did we use um it
took forever to actually get the twins potty trained trained I got the ones that
look like a tree I got ones with superheroes on them useless
I even got ones that look I got one that looked like a real toilet I believe
that's the only one that we made good progress with alright because my
daughter told me plainly, mummy I don't like potty she's such a rebel on
the twins third birthday the doctor we went for their doctor's appointment and
the doctor was so disappointed she's like why are they wearing pull-ups I'm
like I've tried what else am I gonna do they want to put in their pull-ups and
the doctor told them specifically all right no more pull-ups you're a big boy
and big girl no more pull-ups for you all right so um now they're doing very
well I'm so happy and they tell me Mommy I
need to use the restroom they go to the bathroom I just cleaned them up because
I don't think three-year-olds are able to clean themselves up very well so I
still do that well I don't mind I got a step stool from Amazon again Amazon wink
wink y'all need to start paying me all right for this free advertisement so I got a step stool
for them to use the regular toilet because now sometimes they're like I
don't want to use the small potty I want to use a big boy potty
oh excuse me go use a big boy potty so I got a small step stool for them they
love using it such a relief no more poop duty for me all I have to do is the cleanup
so if you're looking for something to buy for someone that's pregnant or if
you're looking for what to buy if you're looking for some um for something to
buy if you're getting ready for a baby or you just want to know what to get
when the time comes trust me those 10 items are a must to get
I love using them I will not hesitate to use them again for another baby you know
