Youtube daily report Feb 4 2018

This Morning interview with Prince Charles rocked by lookalike scandal?

Many people were expecting to see Prince Charles on This Morning yesterday, however it wasnt aired.

Today, This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield revealed that Charles and Camilla arrived shortly after yesterdays episode went off air.

They showed a montage of clips from the visit, during which every member of ITVs Daytime team met the Royal duo.

The Good Morning Britain presenters were there, as were other regulars from This Morning like the Speakmans and Alison Hammond.

But Holly admitted it was a really weird experience and something she struggled to get her head around.

"Its kind of surreal watching it back.

Its like we had the best lookalikes" Holly Willoughby The 36-year-old confessed: Its kind of surreal watching it back.

Its like we had the best lookalikes. Luckily for Holly, their special guests were the real deal, and Phillip, 55, admitted that the crew had made some adjustments to the set ahead of the visit.

He said: You may wonder what sort of preparation we did.

They say when the Royal Family visit anywhere, all they smell is fresh paint.

We painted one door. He went on: Normally, our door wedges are white, messy and scuffed up.

We covered them all in black gaffer tape..

It seemed Prince Charles and Camilla were appropriately impressed as they soon sat down on the famous sofas.

They signed This Mornings guest book and allowed Phil to take a snap of them to mark the occasion.

Other members of the This Morning team revealed the topics of their conversations with the Royals.

Ruth Langsford was amazed when Camilla opened their chat with congratulations for her time on Strictly Come Dancing.

Meanwhile, Georgia Toff Toffolo spoke to Charles about her time on Im A Celebrity.

Get Me Out Of Here.

She said: This is the first time Ive ever met royalty.

Ive been in the same pub as Harry, but it doesnt count.

I told him Id just come back from Australia and won the jungle and he asked if I came back with any of the horrible diseases. This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.

WhatsApp New Features 2018! - Duration: 5:33.

WhatsApp New Features 2018!

Hello Friends!

Welcome back to AppleFrendly.

This is a continuation video to my earlier video on WhatsApp features.

And today, I'm going to discuss all the latest WhatsApp features for iOS users.

I'm going to go through them quickly.

I'd appreciate if you can share your favourite WhatsApp features down in the comment section below.

And consider subscribing to the channel if you haven't already.

So, without further ado, let's get started!

One of the best features is playing YouTube video with picture-in-picture.

So, when you receive a link to a YouTube video, you can now play it right within WhatsApp.

Simply tap the PLAY button

and YouTube video will start playing in picture-in-picture mode.

With picture-in-picture, you can also keep watching the video while you navigate to another chat.

And if you feel, you can also hide the video player window just by swiping it right or left.

And bring it back when required.

How cool is that?

I just love this feature!

WhatsApp now allows to share live location in real-time with your family and friends.

And to do that, tap the PLUS button,

select LOCATION

Select SHARE LIVE LOCATION

select the duration for which you want to share the live location

and hit SEND button.

Now the next person receives a message something like this.

He/She can tap this VIEW LIVE LOCATION

and start tracking your location in real-time.

If you wish, you can stop sharing your live location anytime by pressing this STOP SHARING button.

And as soon as you do that the next person will not have access to your live location

anymore!

Very useful feature for tracking especially your children.

WhatsApp now allows to delete messages sent by mistake.

Just tap and hold a message you sent in last 7 minutes

select DELETE

tap this DELETE ICON

and select DELETE FOR EVERYONE.

The message will be deleted for you and everyone in the chat.

And this is how the next person will see the message.

And now you can record long voice messages easily.

When recording a Voice message, just swipe up to lock recording so you can record

without keeping your finger down.

When done, simply hit this SEND button.

Now you can search messages within a specific chat.

And to do that tap the chat name at the top to go to Contact Info and select CHAT SEARCH.

Now search for the required words

like this.

Pretty useful!

When you receive multiple photos, you can now tap and hold on the group of photos

to quickly FORWARD, DELETE or SAVE all of them at once.

Nice little additional feature.

And when typing text in a chat, you can select the text and easily find formatting options

like BOLD, ITALIC etc.

Now you no longer need to do it using asterisk and all!

Now, you can pin chats to the top of your chat list to set them as your priority.

And to do that, just swipe right on a chat and tap the PIN icon.

And similarly, swipe right and tap UNPIN icon to remove it from the top of the chat list.

WhatsApp now allows to send documents of any type to your friends and family.

Simply tap this PLUS button

select DOCUMENT

Tap BROWSE

It should launch the Files App.

Choose the document and send it.

PDF, Excel, Word everything!

Now the last but not the least, WhatsApp allows to post text-only updates to your status.

You just need tap the pencil icon in the Status tab,

type in your text,

pic a font

and colour

and hit send!

So that's all for today!

What is your favourite WhatsApp feature?

OR what feature would you like to see in WhatsApp's next update?

Do let me know down in the comments below.

And consider subscribing to the channel if you haven't already.

It's all free! And don't forget to press the bell icon for all the future uploads.

I'll see you in the next one.

Till then, take good care of yourself and Thank you for watching!

SNEAKERS 1950-2018 | Ynspirology - Duration: 13:53.

Y: Dude, it's freezing..

D: Sup! It's freezing here.

Y: Hi!

Y: Today we are heading for a trip. The trip to the history of sneakers.

Y: We are going to the city which name I can't pronounce..

D: Herzo, Herzogen Au, Herzogen-au-rach.

Y: Ok seems he knows.

Kovo, the great master of all sneakers, sneaker maniac and guru is awaiting us there.

He is also the collector and he will give you much greater insight than we can.

D: We will go in footprints of Adi Dassler, who started and get famous by creating first soccer shoes.

Y: You can be looking forward to all of the different models: NMDs, EQTs, Y3s

etc. etc.

We will see the shoes from the inside out and so we get there in comfy way,

we took this two nice rides GLC and G - heavy duty.

So let's go.

Y: Well it seemed for a moment that David is gonna drive but he has no license. D: But not realy.

Y: We have about 3 and half hour drive ahead.

D: And so we've heard that there was some Adi Dassler, that's why it's called Adidas..

Y: That was kinda from zero to hero story

because by that time they were making shoes manualy, stetching them on wooden hoofs.

And as you know performance sports gear and wear needs to be functional to the maximum

and the footwear in many sports is the key element.

And that's why every decagram even gram matters.

and then of course also traction, fixation etc. etc.

So even though today.. oh navigation is talking to me..

even though today the footwear is mostly fashion accessory. Adidas still keeps the function.

And every Adidas line comes from the heritage of the function.

D: Do you find this car good for yourself?

Y: Yeah, one can see the street more from above and it also feels pretty secure.

And if anything can deal with the various outside environments it is this car.

If you got a feeling, that I am describing the car like I don't understand it at all, then you are completely right.

D: So! For now its farewell. We will check back in. And maybe by that time someone else will be sitting here.

Y: Hmm it seems we are already in Germany.

D: How do you know that?

Y: Well the road it's not shaking anymore.

That's always the clear sign that you are not in Czech anymore.

Y: So we have arrived, we are here in Herz and beyond that it's still freezing..

we are also starving.

Our only hope Norma is also closed.

D: Yet, I have a solution.

Y: He didn't tell me what that is..

D: This morning

I got this present for us

and we got this homemade apple pie.

Y: Guys come to have some. D: We are saved.

Y: Come come, cuz we are not alone here. D: There is bunch of people

Y: Thats Peter the camera guy.

Y: There is Adam the photographer.

A: I will have some as well, thanks.

Than there is Tom the driver.

T: t(dot)kortan at Instagram!

Y: lets share it.

D: Tomorrow; Kovo, archive, this and that.. see you! we go to sleep. bye

Y: Well it's the fresh day and we are picking up Kovo. He's right there.

Finally, you get to see who is the mysterious Kovo.

Yo wassup!

wassup wassup

D: Take this seat, come in.

K: Yo got a nice ride!

Y: You bet, we were like; big man is coming we need a big ride.

K: That's very right!

Y: How was the trip? K: Allright, no problems.

Y: What time were you departing?

K: Around 4:40am I have never been getting up this early before.

K: So it's a new experience.

Y: Well we rather went a day before, because no one here would understand our African time.

K: That I can imagine.

Y: By the way Peter (Kovo) is, as they say in US, the buyer for the Footshop.

A buyer is someone who decides what collections will the store offer to the customers.

The stores are detached from the companies like Adidas.

And they decide for themselves what they will be offering.

And I find that interesting because, in my opinion, we have very conservative buyers in the Czech Republic.

That means that when you go to the store you will mostly find just very casual stuff in casual colors.

Because they say that the "extra" stuff is not selling that good.

K: That's true.

Y: And Kovo is one of the more brave buyers

and he is not afraid of something more progressive.

That's why I believe that the Footshop is the place where you can get pieces

which weren't available in the Czech Republic before you've entered the market.

K: I agree. So wassup, are you looking forward?

Y: I do a lot!

K: We are about to see a piece of history today.

Y: Tell us, what are you looking forward the most?

K: Well the whole archive in Adidas headquarters in Hezogenaurach.

Because that's the place you don't get a chance to see every day.

And there is the whole history of Adidas brand.

So I believe it is going to be fascinating.

Y: And which pieces from the history are the most interesting for you?

Since you are a collect or and you have lots of unique pieces yourself.

So are there, for example, any which you don't have and would like to see there?

K: For sure the original models of the present ones which I like nowadays.

Right now I am fascinated by Adidas Equipment line so I would like to see some original pieces from 90s.

And I believe that we will.

Y: Everyone watching this video will be surely interested in Kanye West, Yeezy etc.

Do you think there is going to be also some of his inspiration in the archive?

Or you rather think that he made it from the scratch?

K: I am convinced that his inspiration came from this archive. I hope that we will come around visits

visits of people like Pharell or Kanye looking for the inspiration for their designs.

So that interests me a lot.

Y: So are we ready? Let's go?

Let me just quickly introduce, this is Susan and Barbora.

They are responsible for all the cool stuff from Adidas we have in the Czech Republic.

Responsible for our country.

D: If you can remember Euro 2004

Here is the Roteirooo!

I was playing soccer as a kid with this ball. That's like nostalgic.

Well one of the best balls of that time

and since that time another best ball every European and World Championship.

And they are all here. We won't show you because we are getting tight on time.

cya

Y: And those of you who said that this is one of the first baseball Adidas footwear

You were right!

D: And you gotta be crazy because otherwise, you couldn't know.

Y: We are at the end of our journey of discovering sneakers.

And we, together with Adi Dassler here, say goodbye.

Be well. David, Kovo, Yemi and Ynspirology.

Y: Dude, seems I am gonna stay here..

"Never Again?" How fascism hijacks democracies over and over | Rob Riemen - Duration: 12:42.

Why is it difficult to identify fascism?

Well the first, the main reason I think, is that it's bad news.

And with bad news, with inconvenient truths the natural response is denial, right?

The most famous form of denial related to inconvenient truth was the report of the Club

of Rome in 1972 limits to the growth, which was the first scientific report to make clear

for the whole world that an ongoing economic growth in a industrial society will have devastating

consequences for the planet.

And the denial was enormous for decades.

Now the denial is no longer possible and, you know, governments try to do what they

do, and Greenpeace and other organizations—But imagine how the world, how the planet would

have looked like if at that time people would have realized yes, it's an inconvenient

truth but they are right.

We wasted time.

So the first part and to say look, the return of fascism is an inconvenient truth.

The second thing is… it's very embarrassing, you know.

After World War II, especially in my part of the world where fascism came from, Europe,

at our commemoration day we will say, "never again".

That's what we said all the time: "Never again."

And so the whole idea that this terrible, terrible thing of fascism could be back was,

you know, out of the question.

The third element is the phenomenon of we do not know our history anymore.

There is a kind of political amnesia.

And so we are, we have forgotten some extremely important warnings which the warnings did

not come from the political scientists.

The warnings came from important artists.

Novelists like Albert Camus and Thomas Mann, two great artists who lived through the era

of fascism.

And in 1947, independent of each other, said "Don't make the mistake.

World War II is over but fascism did not disappear."

Camus even wrote a very important novel about it, La Peste, The Plague, trying to explain

"Look, this phenomenon of fascism is there to stay because it's the dark side of every

democracy.

In every democracy it is possible that at the very moment the spirit of democracy is

gone then you'll get a society (which we now call a mass society) which is no longer

cultivating the high ideals of a democracy, but you get the kind of society which is dominated

by our lowest instincts – greed, fear, resentment, hatred, propaganda, stupidity.

And that's where the demagogues and the populists will move in and they will present

their own version of fascism.

But we don't recognize it, again because the idea is – well we know fascism is a

bad thing, but in our, you know, media, Hollywood-oriented visual culture... look, in a visual culture,

evil has to be very visible.

Look at Batman, right?

Batman, handsome guy.

And who's the evil guy?

The Joker, and you immediately see that is an evil man, right?

And James Bond, you immediately recognize who are the good guys and who are the bad

guys.

So we think that if there's evil in our society you have to be able to immediately

see it, right?

And so when it comes to fascism probably we'll have swastikas and black uniforms and silly

gestures.

Now of course on the fringe there are always those lunatics who like to present themselves

"Oh we are fascist" or "we are Nazis" or whatever.

That's the fringe.

We can ignore, I mean, those idiots are always there.

But the fascism in our time will present itself in forms of our time.

So we have to look at the characteristics because the characteristics will be the same.

You and I—everybody who looks at this—will be different next year and five years from

now, okay, because of time.

At the same time we're still the same, because our characteristics are still the same.

And so what are the characteristics of a fascist culture?

In a fascist culture you'll always have, and again, you know, the terrible examples

of Mussolini, Franco and Hitler—they tell us: The fascist leader will always come forward

in a time of crisis.

He—most of the time it's a he—will present himself as the anti-political leader who will

cure society of all social evils.

A kind of new messiah.

It's a cult figure.

It will always be a form of extreme nationalism, you know, to "make the country great again".

That's a very old phrase every fascist will use.

Deprived of any positive idea, not even interested in it, because those fascist leaders are completely

obsessed by self-interest.

It's all about them, them, them, them—them and nothing else.

They know they have to use all kinds of propaganda to captivate and brainwash and manipulate

people.

Again this is also an old story.

I mean interestingly—enough the focuses of Sigmund Freud—Mr. Bernays, came here

to American in the twenties and he wrote a small essay which is still available, entitled

Propaganda.

And Bernays became the godfather of marketing and he became also very rich because he was

one of those people who at that time managed to make women smoke.

And he also could use the techniques of his uncle Sigmund Freud.

But anyway in his essay Propaganda he in a very honest way said look, of course America

is a democracy and Washington was the president and the congress.

He said, "but beyond that is an invisible government.

And that's us.

Because we can control the mind of the people by marketing, by propaganda, by advertisement,

a whole commercial culture is like this, right?"

So interestingly enough when the Nazis came to power in the thirties he got in touch with

the White House and said look, you know, I know those people.

Not personally but I know that Goebbels because I know their techniques.

Probably I can help you because we will have the war of propaganda.

So anyway, propaganda.

The other thing is all fascists will be and have to be: pathological liars.

It will always be lies, lies, lies, lies, lies.

And a very telling example is that one of my intellectual heroes, Thomas Mann, who came

to America in 1938, in 1948 he gave a lecture in L.A. And he said at that time, "if fascism

should come to America it will come in the name of freedom."

And interesting enough so many of those fascist parties are parties for freedom including

my country, the Netherlands, is the Party for Freedom.

Of course this is a lie.

(Unintelligible) Okay, so there was this thing of and the demand of complete loyalty.

Then because the crisis is there so we always are in need of a scapegoat.

The Jews or the Mexicans or the black people or people from Poland or wherever.

They always are in need of a scapegoat.

They are always in need of new enemies.

And so the thing is that fascism is a political expression of our lowest human instincts.

And with a leader who knows how to use it, you'll get a very corrosive process in your

democracy.

What we should never forget – two things about this.

We should never forget that Hitler could come into power through a democratic process.

It was a democratic process.

And even more telling than that: he lost the popular vote.

He had 11 million votes, and 22 million voters did not vote for him.

But the political parties, the power elite at that time thought well, you know, we can

use the guy, we can control him.

We give him this responsibility then people will understand what kind of failure he is,

et cetera, et cetera, et cetera, so many things as we're seeing here right now.

And then there is this terrible blind spot.

So even one of the great heroes of the twentieth century, Winston Churchill, on February 1933

– so Hitler was already in power.

He gave a speech for the League Against Socialism—because as a real conservative, for Churchill, socialism

was one of the terrible things and he immediately related it to Bolshevism, et cetera.

In this lecture he gave there he says, he says quote-unquote, "In Italy it was Mussolini.

Mussolini is the Italian genius of law and his fascism might be the strategy for our

future."

Churchill in 1933.

I mean it took him even a couple of more years to realize what the connection is between

Mussolini and Hitler.

So if even if Churchill, you know, can make this mistake, and he was not the only one—I

mean even Freud in the thirties dedicated one of his books to Mussolini.

And with a whole line up of hundreds of intellectuals who wanted to see Mussolini.

He wasn't only a politician but he also was a poet, he wrote plays, et cetera, et

cetera, et cetera.

So anyway fascism always comes with a huge temptation.

This is also the reason why so many intellectuals and so many artists on the one hand they could

go off to Stalin and, you know, Stalin is the new messiah.

But they also felt, you know, temptation to fascism.

So if you put all these things together we realize that again in moments of crisis when

people are losing trust in their own political system—which is happening—when the democratic

spirit is going out a new anti-democratic spirit will come in.

And if we have bad luck—and we are now having a lot of bad luck in Europe, and here—and

here the risk is a leader with a fascist mindset.

NEXT STOP ALASKA - Storie dall'Artico EP03 - Duration: 2:52.

Ah! The adventure! The adrenaline, the electrifying days, new people, new cultures!

And then the preparation, the frenzy of departure, dreams, everything is

so romantic ...

Ah no, I'm not there yet.

Let's talk about the pre-adventure!

The long, but necessary preparation phase in which sometimes millions of things happen

within 24 hours and sometimes everything goes like in slow motion.

Peppino, they called me

from the post office, it says the shipment had a problem, there were delays ...

Damn it, damn it.

A professor of the University of Fairbanks answered me

he is a biologist, and he is available to be interviewed. He will be the first

person I will interview once in Fairbanks.

Well indeed in addition to this news

there is something more... "I finally found the drone ".

There is a guy who made me a super offer so I'll go to Florence to get my drone!

It's kinda cold and the weather sucks.

Hopefully it's not gonna rain.

Tommaso was very helpful, he is a photographer, he has already been in

Iceland has been in Patagonia, it has already done a similar flying experience

that I will experience in Alaska.

You have to make sure that it has all the functions on, like the GPS, it must find the signals

then check the compass because it scans the magnetic frequencies that can

create interference and that is very important because it can

disconnect the drone from the remote control.

So the drone is all in here?

With all the batteries?

Yes with a battery here, one here and one on board.

Ok the positive thing is that now I have a drone, the negative is that now I truly undestand

that flying with polar temperatures will be extremely

difficult and I must immediately think of very "punk" solutions!

It will be very cold.

I could check in at the beginning without gloves.

I could leave a finger uncovered to give him the ok "I can guarantee you that while you fly,

you can not use gloves ".

Not even "touch gloves"? "I use diving gloves"

The drone is in excellent condition and I hope to be able to make it fly. I bought

some hand-warmers to preheat the battery before the flight

because it can last less than half in case of extreme cold.

There is no time left,

to try the drone,

and this is a problem!

The tension is real now!

WANT TO KNOW ONE OF THE STRONGEST PREDICTORS OF HOW LONG YOU'LL - Duration: 3:05.

WANT TO KNOW ONE OF THE STRONGEST PREDICTORS OF HOW LONG YOULL LIVE READ THIS

BY ALANNA KETLER

When it comes to our morality, there are many differing views.

In terms of longevity people seem to either think that it is completely out of their control,

that they will have the same fate as their parents because of their genes or, that there

are factors including diet and lifestyle that play a role in how long well live.

But, which of these are correct?

Or, are all of these correct?

The fact of the matter is, that there are certain things that can predict a long and

healthy life.

But they are likely not what youd expect.

When we think of health, we often think mostly of the physical, so if someone were to ask

you, what shouldnt you do if you want to live a long and healthy life?

You might say something like, eat too much processed food, smoke cigarettes, drink too

much, not get enough exercise etc.

But what if, although those are still important factors for good health, they werent the

most important and that there were some other factors that we likely dont think about

that play an even greater role in terms of how long we will live?

Susan Philips gave a Ted Talk about this very question, and she presented information from

a study titled, Social Relationships & Mortality Risk.

Heres what she found

Non-Physical Factors Are More Important The findings of this study are likely not

what we would have guessed would be the most important factor when it comes to longevity.

It shows just how much human beings need and thrive off of human interaction.

Above all else, having friends and family members close by will contribute to a long

life.

This is perhaps why the people who are living in the Blue Zones tend to live the longest,

because they are together in community and interacting with each other on a regular basis.

We need others to thrive.

There are many cases of elderly couples where one passes away and then the other, who was

seemingly in great health passes away shortly after.

This is known as the heartbreak phenomena, and yes, you can quite literally die of a

broken heart and being alone.

In Western cultures, often when our parents get old we ship them off to live in retirement

homes, often here they spend a lot of time on their own without any meaningful connections.

Hopefully this information helps you to realize the importance of maintaining strong relationships

with your parents and/or grandparents into their old age, and maintaining a strong connection

with your own children if you have them.

Sure some families are estranged, but we all thrive with close friends whom we can call

on and talk to on a regular basis.
