Garmin Explore: Using the Software to Save Waypoints and Routes - Duration: 3:54.
Garmin Explore is the mobile app for mapping and organizing your outdoor adventures.
In this video, we'll show you how to use the Garmin Explore app for map viewing,
trip planning and cloud storage of your favorite hikes, rides,
trips and adventures for future reference.
Once you've downloaded Garmin Explore to your smartphone or tablet
and paired it with your Garmin GPS handheld or wearable,
you're ready to start accessing the detailed maps
and other outdoor resources provided through Garmin Explore.
We'll assume you've downloaded the maps you want,
and now you're looking at the Garmin Explore map screen on your smartphone.
To start with the basics, let's create some waypoints.
Waypoints are locations that you record and store,
so you can create a route or return to the same spot later.
To mark your current location as a waypoint,
simply tap the Plus sign icon on the upper-left side of the Map page.
This will bring up selectors for Add Waypoint and Add Route.
Tap the Add Waypoint selector and you'll see a New Waypoint page
showing you the GPS coordinates for your location.
You can type in a name for your waypoint and select a graphic symbol to represent it on the map.
There are also on-screen cues that will allow you to edit
and save the waypoint to a new or existing Collection,
so you'll know where to find it if you ever want to return to that spot on future excursions.
Alternatively, if you want to create a waypoint somewhere besides your current location,
you can simply zoom in and tap that location on the map to drop a waypoint there.
Then choose Add New Waypoint from the Selected Location pop-up menu.
A waypoint symbol will appear on the map,
and a New Waypoint page will come up,
showing you the GPS coordinates for that location
and allowing you to select and enter a name and icon symbol for your waypoint.
You can also enter any notes you want to remember about the site.
Now that you've created a waypoint, or multiple waypoints
you can organize them for future reference by tapping Collections,
creating a new listing,
giving it a file name,
and saving it for return trips or to share with others who want to follow in your footsteps.
To revisit or review your Collection entries,
go to the Library icon at the bottom of your screen.
You'll find a section there for your saved Collections.
The Collections list displays the name you've given to the trip,
along with the distance covered and the date.
You can sort the list by any of these criteria to easily locate the saved route
or waypoint you're looking for.
You can also plan for your next journey by creating routes in advance
using multiple waypoints on your app's Map page,
or you can also create them using the Garmin Explore web portal
and then sync them with your mobile app.
If you've paired the Garmin Explore app on your phone
with a compatible Garmin GPS handheld or wearable device,
you can also sync your waypoints, routes,
tracks and activities from the navigation device to your phone,
so you can save,
organize and upload them to cloud storage for future reference.
These will appear on the Library page as well,
allowing you to select and convert items from this page
into organized Collections for future reference.
All the waypoints and routes you've created
will automatically sync to your Garmin Explore website account
when you're within cellular or Wi-Fi range.
So it's easy to keep track of where you've been,
and preserve your activity data with unlimited cloud storage.
Well, that's a quick look at the basics of using Garmin Explore.
Check out the other videos in this series to learn more.
Thanks for watching.

Timbs v. Indiana [SCOTUSbrief] - Duration: 4:41.
The issue in Timbs versus Indiana is the incorporation of the 8th Amendment to the Constitution.
Actually, a particular clause of the 8th Amendment that prohibits excessive fines and fees.
Mr. Timbs was convicted of several drug crimes in Indiana.
Under Indiana state law, the absolute maximum he could have been penalized for all these
crimes is about $10,000.
However, using civil asset forfeiture, law enforcement in the state of Indiana seized
his pickup truck which is worth $40,000 because they argued that the drugs he was transporting,
he was transporting in the truck itself.
The incorporation doctrine argues that all of these fundamental rights which cannot be
violated by the federal government also cannot be violated by state governments.
So it's true that the folks in Washington DC can't do things that unreasonably violate
your First Amendment right, your Second Amendment right, your Fourth Amendment right, but it's
also true that the folks in Sacramento or Austin or Albany can't do this either.
The extent of incorporation is unclear however, because rather than simply incorporating all
of the amendments, the Supreme Court has in piecemeal fashion incorporated them amendment
by amendment, sometimes clause by clause in each amendment.
In fact, that's what we are dealing with here.
Certain parts of the Eighth Amendment have been incorporated such as the prohibition
against cruel and unusual punishment, certain parts have not been, such as the prohibition
against excessive fines and fees.
This is a doctrine that the Supreme Court has developed over time and in fact there
are still people to this day who wonder whether or not incorporation itself is a misreading
of the Fourteenth Amendment and none of these rights should be read against the state capitals.
I think that the more significant debates are not about whether or not incorporation
is legitimate, but about how to incorporate.
So the most obvious way to incorporate an amendment to the Constitution is through the
due process clause in the Fourteenth Amendment.
You would argue that there are certain rights that are fundamental to American history and
that as a matter of due process, those rights must be respected by the federal government,
but they also must be respected by the state governments.
There's an alternative argument though that says under the privileges and immunities clause,
there are certain privileges or certain immunities that you have as an American and because you
have them as an American, they extend from state to state.
They also extend from the federal jurisdiction to any state jurisdiction.
The best argument for Mr. Timbs is that when you can be punished at most by a $10,000 fine
to effectively be punished with a $40,000 penalty is simply disproportionate and violates
the Eighth Amendment and the Eighth Amendment is incorporated just like all the other amendments
are.
There must be some kind of limit on what the government can seize through asset forfeiture.
In this case, his truck is worth four times the amount of what he could have been punished
with given the underlying crime, but it could have been worth even more.
It didn't have to be a truck, it could have been a yacht.
It could have been an airplane.
It could have been any number of things.
Mr. Timbs is arguing that there must be some limiting principle.
The best argument for the state of Indiana is that the thing that the Eighth Amendment
prohibition against excessive fines and fees is contemplating is literally excessive fines
and fees.
Not asset forfeiture, which is actually a law enforcement technique rather than some
kind of a criminal penalty.
The Supreme Court has dealt with civil asset forfeiture in the past and has said that it's
not unconstitutional.
It's something that law enforcement is engaged in as part pf protecting public safety in
the community.
We don't want criminals to be able to profit from their ill-gotten gains.
So we empower law enforcement to take those ill-gotten gains from them.
They're arguing that an actual fine or fee imposed by the state of Indiana is the kind
of thing that's subject to the 8th Amendment, but a law enforcement tactic like civil asset
forfeiture is not the kind of thing that's contemplated by the amendment and therefore,
it's not incorporated.
The fundamental question in this case is whether or not there are any restrictions on the kinds
of criminal financial penalties that state governments can levy against their citizens.
And in the course of answering that very important question, The Supreme Court is also going
to clarify a number of things about the constitutionality of the practice of civil asset forfeiture
in the United States.

I preferiti di Novembre 18/London Haul/Regali di Compleanno-November favorites/London Haul/Gifts - Duration: 35:59.
Hi ya'll and welcome or welcome back to my channel
November is almost over, which means
it's time again to
share with you my monthly favorites
This time, as you may have guessed from the title
I thought I'd do something different
mainly because November is my birthday month
which means that I received some presents
but, most importantly I celebrated it with a trip to London
if you missed my London vlog
I suggest you to watch it because it's a
fun and unusual one
you'll find it by clicking on the I that should appear
here above my head
In the comments to that video and on my other social networks many of you asked me
to film an haul with my London purchases
and I also realized that
the majority of the things I bought
just as the majority of the birthday gifts I received
would have ended in a favorite video sooner or later
so I thought I could include them in this video straight away
so here we are
so get ready for a long video
which will included the best from the past month
By the way this is also going to be the last video before
the Christmas series which will begin on Friday
so get ready for that
so I thought that, before we'll get into the Christmas spirit,
I'd end this season with big old video
and maybe some of the products I'll show you could
work as great Christmas presents too
so let's jump into the video starting with the clothes
Brilliant, here we are in the clothes section
I've got a pile of items here
ready to show you, so let's start straight away with
the only item that I didn't buy in London
and it's this bodysuit
with a leopard print
I don't know if you realized it, but I've got quite an obsession with animal prints this year
I love it, it has a rised neck
it's in a ...
soft elasticated fabric
which makes it very comfy to wear
and it's a bodysuit
thing that I like because it stays in place and it's perfect to wear tucked into jeans or skirts
it's very versatile, in fact I paired it to create a very casual look
with jeans, boots and a cardi, but also
for a more formal look, I also wear it in the office
with a pencil skirt and a blazer
so it's super duper versatile and I bought it on Asos
and if I'm not wrong the price was
more than affordable
as usual I can't remember the exact price
but, I tell you straight away that
on my blog I'll link all the products that are available online
with
links, so that you'll be able to find
all the infos you need
prices included
so if you are interested in something head over to my blog
you'll find the link to my post
both in the downbar, click on expand
and you'll have a ton of details ready
or by clicking on the I that will appear over my head
ok, let's move on
to the pieces that I bought in London
which is the majority of this section
The first thing I'd like to show is
this bodysuit, as we were talking about bodysuits
it's by Uniqlo
a black bodysuit, but I'll start by saying that
when I travel abroad,
being a shopaholic, I look for the brands that are not available in Italy
or that are hard to find here
one of these is Uniqlo, a japanese brand
that I particularly like as it's specialized
in technical fabrics
and it has a very ...
minimal/basic/very japanese kind of vibe
This time I fell in love with
this bodysuit
which is a collaboration with Alexander wang
and it's in a peculiar wool based fabric
which makes it super warm, but at the same time it's
very thin, so it's not bulky, it's perfect
to layer under under blazers without being uncomfortable
I don't know if you can see that, I hope the close up will help,
but it has a diagonal pattern that meets in the middle
so it kind of makes you
look skinnier, or at least that's my opinion
I could be wrong
it has a rised neck and it's a bodysuit
with all the pros I mentioned before:
it's comfy, it stays in place, it's perfect
to pair in many different ways and being black is even easier to match
In Unichlo
Unichlo?
in Uniqlo I also bought another piece
which is the only one I haven't worn yet, as you may guess from the tag
a cachemere sweater, uniqlo's cachemere
it's very high quality
it's 100% cachemere and the price is not too high
I can tell you the price, I paid it 79,90 euro
which is not bad for a 100% cachemere
I chose this rusty color because as I said
for the first bodysuit it one of my favorite shades this year
simple, quite basic
which makes it very easy to
wear and pair
Now let's move to Primark
where I haven't bought much
basically just one thing
this trenchcoat, the classic trenchcoat
which is a must have I was missing
because I never found one
that I liked enough
they were either too thick or I didn't like the shape
then in Primark
I spotted this one, I tried it on
I liked it, the price was super affordable so I bought it
There's not much more to say, it's a classic trenchcoat
with the classic trenchcoat shape
it's quite lightweight, in fact from now on I think I won't be able to wear it much
unless I layer a warm sweater underneath
but as I said at the beginning I had to have a trenchcoat, I wanted one
for a long time
especially this year because I love this color that perfectly matches the brown and rusty shades I'm in love with
let's change brand again moving to another
great classic when it comes to my shopping in the U.K., Collectif
I don't know if remember, but I already talked about Collectif
is a british brand
a truck just drove by, hi!
it's a british brand specialized in retro inspired clothes
this time I found an amazing sheath dress
in this brown hound's tooth pattern
with tiny purple stripes
I love it because the shape is amazing
I'm loving sheath dressed
it has got handy pockets
3/4 sleeve which I'm obsessed with
and the peculiarity is the back
with the low V shaped neckline which makes it sexier
it comes with a belt, but it looked kind of cheap so I always wear it with other belts
but I feel confident in saying that this is my favorite piece
among all the ones I bought in London
just to give you an idea
let's move on as I still have 3 pieces
let's change brand again, this time it's Top shop
another store I always visit when I'm in London
because especially the Oxford Circus one is stunning
This time I brought home
this extra... no I mean over size, I was saying extralarge
an oversize sweater
in this amazing custard shade
I'm into brown, custard, rust shades a lot this year
it's a turtke neck sweater, it's super soft and cozy and it makes me so happy
because it's super warm
super soft and i love this vibrant shade
Now I have a controversial purchase
because ...
ok, I'll show it to you
it's this sheer embroidered dress
I bought on a stall in Spitalfield market
the stall was amazing, full of embroidered dresses and I love embroideries
I can't resist them
I say it's controversial because
I'm not really into the shape of it
and it's too long
it comes almost down to the ankles
so if you're not tall and thin
it doesn't suit much
it must be worn with something underneath because it's see through
I think I'll ask my mother to cut it shorter
even if it's a pity because
at the bottom there are some lovely embroideries
but if it's possible I would prefer to have it shorter because
it doesn't suit me much as it is
I bought the last clothing item at the Frida Kahlo exhibition
if you watched my vlog you'll know that the
main event of the trip was the exhibition
at the Victoria & Albert Museum
I bought a few things there, among which this t-shirt that I fell in love with
that says I am my own muse
I love graphic t-shirts, I've been wearing them a lot
and I still do under blazers also to go to work
so I had to buy it
ok, that's it for the clothing section as I've already been talking for more than 10 minutes, OMG!
and let's move to the accessories
Here we are in the accessories section, i'll start with
another purchase from the Frida Kahlo exhibition
the tote bag
it has Frida on one side
and the name of the exhibition on the other side
Frida Kahlo making..ehm..making her self up
sorry I just had a brain fart
there's othing much to add, a tote bag,
one of the things that I end up buying at art exhibitions
In London I also bought
because all of the accessories here come from London
4 pairs of socks
I'll quickly show them, I got some in Primark and some in Top shop
these glittery ones in a rust shade
these leopard print ones
I'll put these aside or I'll drop everything
I already have a pile here
these Primark ones that are still in the packaging, I love Primark socks because
they are super soft, they are quite basic
a striped pair and a black pair
I've been quick
then the piece de resistence for the accessories section, you might have seen it
in the vlog and it's also a birthday present
I think it's called a bakers hat
the classic hat
very british, i wanted one for a very long time
as soon as we arrived in London my friend Eleonora
whom I travelled with
and I went to Spitalfield, still carrying our luggages
and we saw this hat stall and she was so kind to buy one as a birthday gift for me
I'm obsessed with it, i usually
don't wear hats because they don't look good on me, but I love this one
I've been wearing non stop while I was in London and also since I came back
Brilliant
that's it for the accessories section
is it? Am I forgetting something? No, I'm not
so let's quickly move on
to the ...
make up section
Weirdly for the make up section I only have
3 products, which is strange because usually when I travel to London
I always buy a ton of make up stuff
this time I focused more on the skincare
and less on make up, but I have
an amazing product to share nontheless
I would have included it in this favorite video anyway
but it's a purchase I did in London
the new Hourglass palette
Both in the make up tutorial video that I filmed...
when I was in Frankfurt and in my quick everyday make up video
and throughout all the past Summer in general I basically always used the previous Hourglass palette
but this one is possibly even more beautiful
why?
You may be asking yourself why I needed the new palette if I already owned one
the answer is yes because as soon as I saw it I fell in love
I'll start by saying that you can basically do your full face make up with this palette
except the foundation and concealer of course
let's say you have all the powders for your face make up, because
it has 2 setting powders
they are translucent yet glowy
a lovely bronzer, perfect to use as an eyeshadow too
I don't know
if you can see it, but I did today's eye make up
only using this palette
it also has 2 blushers
I can't remember how they are called in italian
anyway they are gorgeous and once again they look great as eyeshadows too
and then it has this blinding highlighter
a bomb
the palette is called
it's upside down...Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked
and by the way 5% of the sales will be donated by Hourglass to an animal protection association
and if I'm not wrong, but I may be
these products were not tested on animals either
I hope I'm not wrong as that's what I remember
If you have to chance to get it do it because it's a bomb
this palette is a bomb and it's also an amazing Christmas gift
then I also bought 2 items which are a little bit less exciting
one is this...
ehmmmm...lipstick, I had another brain fart
sometimes I lost my chain of thoughts
it's by the brand Collection
which is available in the U.K., I have never seen it in Italy
if you know where to find it
leave a comment below
it's one of my favorite lipsticks, it's a nude shade, very...
very wearable
and I like it because it has a matte finish, but it doesn't dry the lips, so
I bought it again when we went to Boots
and I also bought
this make up brushes set by Real techniques
because my favorite eye make up brushes are by this brand
so I got 2 more
this is the perfect crease duo
made of 2 soft crease brushes that complete my eye make up kit
I don't know if you noticed, but I'm trying to be quick and to speak faster
because this video may possibly last 100 years
and if I always touch my hair is because it looks scruffy
and the top looks flat as a bunch of seaweeds
anyway, that said let's move to the next section
and as we are talking about beauty
let's move to the skincare
The majority of my favorites
come from London and are part of the haul
with a few exceptions, one is a birthday gift
the other one is a favorite product that I didn't buy in London
let's start with that one
which is by l'Occitane
the shower gel/scrub
which is a great concept because it puts together
the cleaser
and the exfoliant in one product
reducing .. sometimes I can't find the words
oh it's raining, sorry about that
I have my widow on the side and today I can't stay focused
too many things to say and I don't know if you can tell but I'm really tired
but let's get back to this l'Occitane product that mixes
a cleanser and an exfoliant in one
product, reducing the shower time
I like it a lot, it's almond based
almond from Provence, so chic
I love l'Occitane products in general
I loved this one in particular and I also like
the packaging
with ths spinning lid
that allows to get the product without having to remove it
and the texture of the grain is perfect
as it exfoliates without
irritating the skin
so it's a very nice product
now let's move to the things I bought in London
which are all...
yes they are, I just double checked
they are all by Fresh
a brand that I love
which sadly is impossible to find in Italy
you can buy it in Sephora in France
and it's also available in the U.K.
in London you can find it in Harrods too
and I bought 3 products
this one which was on my shopping list, which is
the shower gel, the...
I can do this...brown sugar
it also, it has... oh God
brown sugar, but it also has some citrusy notes
now of course it's sealed
I'm not going to open it as I won't use it straight away
but it's one of my favorite shower gels because
it's enriched with shea butter
I don't know the word in italian
anyway
which means it's very hydrating, it leaves
the skin super soft and the fragrance reminds me of
a mojito, lime and sugar
a scent I love both in Winter and Summer
then I bought, boom, I dropped everything
2 things from the Vitamin Nectar line always by Fresh
I already tried this one
and it's amazing
I just noticed that I opened it wrongly, anyway
what is it?
it's the vitamin C glow powder
a very interesting product because inside you get these blisters
as yuo can see they are made of 2 sections
you fold it
like this, you tear them open, you pour the powder inside
on the palm your hand, you add a few drops of water
and the powder turns into a foam
that you massage on the face for around 30 seconds and you rinse it off
and it cleanses the skin
it reduces the appearance of pores
it makes the skin glow and smoother
and I shall say that I loved it because
I tried it and it felt great
a bomb, just like doing a cleansing/brightening face mask
without having to keep it on for 15 minutes
because in 30 seconds everything is done
I highly recommend it
Vitamin C
Vitamin Nectar Vitamin C glow powder
it also has a lovely fruity scent, so it's definitely
a thumbs up for me, 100% approved
from the same line
I also bought the antioxydant glow water
you know that I love thermal waters
this has the same amazing fragrance
of the glow powder
and then...
it smells of apricots
and it has
how is it called?
this fine texture that makes it perfect to use over make up too
and it hydrates
it's enriched with vitamins
and it's also antioxydant and brightening
so cool I love this kind of products
also to refresh the make up during the day
one, two, three, four, the last item I don't know
if should be in this section or not, but here it is anyway
it's a Byredo perfume
I don't know if you remember, but one of my favorite perfumes
is Byredo Super Cedar
in Hawroouds
in Harrods I found the Byredo counter
and I thought it was the perfect time to
smell some more of their fragrances and see if I could find another one
that I liked as much as the Super Cedar
and I found it, it's the black saffron one
I can't describe perfumes and
it's still sealed so I don't remember perfectly all the notes
but I can tell you that, just like Super Cedar, it's
a sophisticated perfume, not sweat at all
spicy, as you can tell by the name
very elegant, so I bought it
I'm getting more into perfumes
it's sunny
today I can't focus, but a second ago it was raining
and now it's sunny!
I'm getting more into perfumes at the moment
so I bought it
and that's it for the skincare section
what else have we got?
No, wait! Am I crazy?
I am crazy
I forgot one of my birthday presents
I received the Khiel's advent calendar
from my sister in law and my parents in law
it's so cool
it's also a great Christmas gift idea
I haven't opened it yet, I'll start in December
as I said it's also a great Christmas gift idea
because as you know I love gifting advent calendars for Christmas
not only in November to open until the 24th
and this concludes
the skincare section
now let's move to the random section
by the way I just realized that I forgot to share a few things
mainly birthday presents
so I'll include them all in the random section, here we go!
here we are
in the random section
in which I'll feature a ton of stuff
and everything that I forgot to mention before
so let's get started
90% of the things I'll share are
part of the London haul, well that's not true, I'd better say half of the things
are part of the London haul, the other half are cool birthday gifts
and I also have a few random things that I forgot to show before
let's start with the first one
shoes, my favorite shoes in November are these
Doc Martens inspired ones
with a huge platform
I love them and I bought them on Asos at a
very reasonable price if compared with the Doc Martens
the quality is definitely lower
but they are super comfy, I walk in them all day long when I was in London
almost without any problem, but the issues I had would have happened even with other shoes
I love them, they are easy to pair
I like to wear them with dresses, with skirts, with trousers
basically with everything, I'm trying to be quick because
this video is already super long
another thing that I forgot to show you
in the accessories section are these necklaces
the one on top, I don't know if you can see it is in the shape of an eye and I bought it myself
I love it
I'm obsessed with these simple and delicate necklaces this year
and the other one is a little fox
and it's a birthday present from my friends Ale and Anto
and I love it too
Let's move on with the random items with some more birthday presents
my friend Bettina gave me this lovely pouch that she sewed herself
with the word dreamer on the front
in this soft velvet, very chic
by the way I suggest you to check her instagram
it's called live your interior life if I'm not wrong
I'll link it down below
she sewed it herself, it's super cute and very handy
and inside
she put 2 notebooks in 2 lovely colors
then
my lovely husband
whi is behind the camera right now
do you want to say hi?
no, he doesn't, he was like...no please
they cannot see you, you just had to say hi behind the camera
he is doing this
anyway he gifted me this amazing mirror
in which you can see everything, him included if you paid attention
I don't know if you can see him
this mirror... domed
how do you say?
convex
What?
convex
Convex, ok...
with a fish eye effect
that's the word I was looking for
fish eye effect
I've been wanting one for a while
everytime we spotted one I said look at that cool convex mirror
the same one that appears in a painting by
Van Eych
Portrait of Giovanni Arnolfini and his Wife
a netherlandish painter
but let's not pretend we are intellectuals because we aren't
but I was always fascinated by it
because the fish eye effect allows
see almost the entire room in it
very cool, let's move on
let's get back to the London haul
and following the randomness here I have an item that I bought in Boots
I didn't know in which section I should feature it, so here it is
what is it? it's something I saw around many times and I was curiois to test it
it's basically a towel
to use when you wash your hair
I don't know about you, but I usually wrap my wet hair into a face towel
and I end up with a huge turbant
that tends to fall off everytime I move my head
while this one
I don't know if you can see it, but
you wrap it around the hair and then it has a button to secure it on the back of the head
and it stays on
it's a cool idea, I saw it and I bought it
how do they call it? Up in the hair
because Soap & Glory always likes a good pun
super cute and I think you can get in online, maybe not from this same brand, but who cares?
then I have some Anthropology stuff, another store I always go to when I'm in London
this time I had a mission, which was to buy some candles
because I ran out of candles
and in the Winter I need to have some candles burning both at home and in the office
I bought this one which is amazing
with the initial
and when I see an initial I can't resist
the jar is iridescent, so cool
the initial is rose gold, well I mean it's in a rosegold shade, it's not actually rose gold
with my R I can't say that word
rose gold
the scent is sparkling grapefruit
which trasnlates to...
pompelmo frizzante in italian
and in fact...when I read it I was skeptical
but it actually smells like that
which is amazing
this was the first candle, the second one I got in Anthropologie
a great classic I already have some other ones like this, but this one is golden
the scent is amazing
let me check the name
damn I can't find it
this is Daniele coughing behind the camera, I told you he is there
they are called volcano candles
they come in different sizes, I went for the small one
the jar is lovely
I got the small one because I didn't want to fill up my luggage too much
easpecially as the first one is already quite big
and at the airport
before flying home
I bought this one too in Oliver Bonas
a shop I never visited before, but I loved it
let's see if it has a scent name
mandarin and lotus
very chic and I loved the minimalism of the metal jar
super cute
and the scent is lovely, so
3 candles that somehow I need to lay down here
to get the other stuff
I can do this
maybe
2 books
let's start with the one I bought
everytime I travel to the U.K. I buy a book in english and I usually go for a young adults one
because they are easier for me to read
I went for John Green again, turtles all the way down
I started it on the plane, but it's too early to review it for you
in fact it's not a favorite, but just part of the haul
and then
the next book, which could be part of the haul too, but it's a birthday present instead
the catalogie from the Frida exhibition
a present from Ale and Anto together with the necklace
such a lovely gift, in fact
I almost bought it, but my friend Eleonora stopped me before I could
and I loved this present a lot
did we reach the end?
stop the train I can't believe we reached the end
I think I may have forgotten something
but let's finish with the bigger present in size, which is always Frida related
I'm not sure it will fit in the frame
but I'll try
my friend Monica
gifted me this amazing illustration
I can't hold it
portraying Frida Kahlo
the artist is Giulia Del Mastro
I love it, I'll have it framed and I'll hang it on my Frida wall
another amazing gift
that eneterely covers me and now
I'll move it to the side to end up the video
We made it to the end of this super long video
I hope that
some of the things I shared inspired you
for your Christmas presents

No more game videos or content on the internet? Article 13 - Duration: 1:38.
Hello guys, welcome welcome Adna here and today I'm going to upload a very different kind of content, different kind of video.
It's about article 13. It's beyond imaginable.
Article 13 basicly, it's a new copyright blocking system on the internet.
Does not only affect content creators, but also you, who likes to share memes within your social media to your friends.
Actually it's not only on Youtube, but Facebook, Instagram, Watssap, anywhere.
Basicly anything that someone uploads on the internet or you
For example, an image of a car, an house, a street, a toy you bought or your favourite TV show, it belongs to someone, so your content will be blocked
If you record something, you have something on your video, doesn't require to have logos, only the item in your video, the things in your video will be blocked.
That's funny, because if a company uploads something that belongs to themselves, if in that video contains at least 1% of an object or anything from someone else, it can also be blocked.
Go to the description of this video, sign the petition, it's free, and let your voice be heard.
Save the gameplayers!

JESUS CRYING HONEY ... CONFESSING YES YES AFTER? CONFESSION - FISHERIES - FORGIVE - CROSS - Duration: 3:36.
Some people, in comments, ask forgiveness to Jesus when he cries or
even to Mary ... I have to specify 2 things ... on the one hand
it is not Mary who forgives but Jesus ... and on the other hand if you have confessed
do not go back on your old sins ... I explain to me you know we all commit
sins and in the Catholic Church ... I believe that in the others
church this is not the case .... Jesus forgive ... and to erase your sins
Jesus suffered on the cross ... yes, you have understood ... the suffering erases
our sins ... and to be more precise, the suffering of Jesus erases our sins
by confession, but not the consequences of our sins, I can not tell you
more because I would say nonsense but do not hesitate not to do research on the internet ...
The sins confessed to Jesus are erased so we have to forget about them and not talk about them anymore
... Jesus forgot them ... but here we are has a hard time forgiving ourselves ... so
it is necessary in prayer to ask Jesus his help …
Personally, I do not want to forget some sins ... I want it to serve me
example ... to know what that I am able to do and especially that
it serves me as an example to no longer do it again ...
So if you have confessed your sins, speak more to Jesus because he has forgiven you
he does not need to forgive you a second time and especially do not come back anymore
on these sins, do not go in search of the trash what Jesus threw.
I recall that in the Catholic Church, we must respect the 10 rules of God,
which are called the 10 commandments and when we have not respected these rules, we must
explain to a priest what we did and the priest will forgive us in the name of Jesus.
This is called "confession" ...
Jesus who cries honey ...
A very small statue of 5 to 10 centimeters belonging to a resident of Sapopemba,
in eastern São Paulo, Brazil, aroused the curiosity of the faithful and sparked interest
of the Catholic Church.
According to information from the archdiocese of São Paulo, the statue is in plaster and
a substance similar to honey flows from the eye.
The owner of the statue is a woman who attends the parish of Our Lady of Hope.
According to the religious authorities, for the Church to give its opinion on the phenomenon, a
series of scientific analyzes must be carried out.
For it to be considered supernatural, one must first rule out the assumptions according to
which, the phenomenon is caused by climate change or by
transformation of the materials that make up the statue.
Analyzes can be done in the city of São Paulo, but it will remove the image
of the house where she is currently. The hostess must authorize
the business trip.
This phenomenon took place in 2010 and today in 2018, I do not know at all or are

G-Shock Gulfmaster Showdown | Master of G Gulfmaster Comparison | GN-1000 | GWN-1000 | GWN-Q1000 - Duration: 12:26.
What's going on everybody.
Jenesis Jones here with Total G-Shockers.
And in this video, we'll be comparing all three Gulfmaster models:
the GN1000, the GWN1000, and the GWN-Q1000 Gulfmasters.
So let's get into it.
[INTRO]
So we've been getting questions about whether
the GWNQ-Gulfmaster is actually worth the money.
Special shout out to all of you who have that question.
Thanks for patiently waiting for this video to drop.
Here's my comparison when it comes to the GN, GWN, and GWNQ Gulfmasters.
and I'm going to rank them based on 3 categories:
#1 Design:
Now when it comes to the Gulfmaster, it is part of the Master of G Series.
The Gulfmaster series is a watch with features and functions designed
to provide vital information about constantly changing ocean conditions to coast guard crews
who respond to emergency situations on those rough seas.
The GN-1000 Gulfmaster, first released in August 2015,
is a 77-gram model that is the little brother of the GWN-Gulfmaster.
With a 50.5-millimeter case size, the GN-1000 is designed
and engineered to stand up to the rigors of maritime.
The hour hand is shaped as an arrow while the minute hand is shaped like a sword.
There is a tide graph at the 6 o'clock position,
a multi-functional dial at the 9 o'clock position,
and a small digital display at the 3 o'clock position.
The dial is covered with mineral glass,
and this distinctive G-Shock bezel of this Gulfmaster gives a type of "no-nonsense"
look
in addition to a look of serious toughness.
Here are some of the notable models:
First released in June 2014, this 101-gram GWN-Gulfmaster,
comes equipped with a barometric pressure
that can be used to predict upcoming weather changes,
a temperature sensor that detects the change of air and water temperature,
as well as a digital compass that can be used to determine wind and tide direction.
This Gulfmaster is a very unique-looking G-Shock with its large round face,
and the base of its design actually comes from the ProTrek PRW-6000.
Now the model boasts an exterior design that includes an LCD subdisplay
on the lower half of the face and the tide graph
and barometer indicators at the 9 to 11 o'clock position
and also include a sensor mode indicator.
It has numbers on the bezel to display changes in altitude and atmospheric pressure.
Here are some of the more popular GWN models:
First released in September 2016, this 113-gram Gulfmaster,
being the first G-Shock analog model equipped with a depth sensor,
also comes equipped with a barometric pressure sensor, altimeter,
a temperature sensor, as well as a digital compass.
The model boasts an exterior design that includes an LCD subdisplay
on the upper half of the face and the tide graph and barometer indicators that are at
the 5 o'clock position
and also include a sensor mode indicator.
Now the side buttons look more like the Frogman rather than the circular buttons of the GWN1000.
But like the GWN1000, it has numbers on the bezel to display changes in altitude and atmospheric
pressure.
Here are some of the GWNQ models:
#2 Battery Life
The GN-Gulfmaster runs off 2 of the SR927W batteries for approximately 2 years.
Battery life for the GWN and GWNQ-Gulfmasters are at least 6 months
using the rechargeable battery with tough solar technology.
When the watch is in power saving mode, the battery life of the GWN and GWNQ is approximately
21 months.
#3 Features
For the GN-Gulfmaster, it has Twin Sensor, which includes the compass and thermometer;
the GWN-Gulfmaster has Triple Sensor, which includes the compass/thermometer, altimeter,
and barometer;
and the GWNQ-Gulfmaster has a Quad Sensor,
which includes the compass/thermometer, altimeter, barometer, and depth sensor.
It also has a sunrise/sunset function; the other two models do not.
The GWN and the GWNQ have a smart access electronic crown
and multi-band 6 atomic timekeeping; the GN-Gulfmaster does not.
When it comes to world time, the GN-Gulf and the GWN-Gulf both have it up to 29 time zones;
the GWNQ has it up to 31 time zones,
Now all three Gulfmasters have 5 alarms.
The GN-Gulf has a 1/100-second stopwatch whose measuring capacity is up to 59'59.99"
and the GWN- and GWNQ-Gulfmasters have a 1/100 second stopwatch whose measuring capacity
is up to 23:59'59.99",
The countdown timer counts down from 60 minutes on all three Gulfmasters.
And all the Gulfmaster models come equipped with moon data and tide graph, hourly time
signal,
button operation tone on/off, full-auto calendar, Super Illuminator LED light, and neo-brite
luminous hands and markers.
So those are the similarities and the differences.
Now you probably have two questions…
Question 1: Which watch model is best?
Now you all know the answer to that.
Exemplifying "Absolute Toughness",
the Gulfmaster is the perfect match for people who are part of coast guard crews
or other jobs that require you to respond to emergency situations on rough seas.
You know, it can be classified as more of a "man and the sea" type of watch.
If you want a Quad Sensor, Sapphire Crystal,
Multiband 6 Atomic Timekeeping, Tough Solar,
then the GWNQ-Gulfmaster is more your speed.
If you want a watch without all of those features
like the sapphire crystal, depth sensor, sunrise/sunset,
then the GWN-Gulf is for you.
And as far as whether the GWNQ1000 Quad Sensor G-Shock is worth the money…
...my answer is yes.
When you compare it to these other Master of G models,
like your GWG-Mudmaster or your GPR-Rangeman,
or even your GPW-Gravitymaster,
they are all relatively comparable to the Quad Sensor Gulfmaster.
I mean, does it have completely the same features and functions…
....of course not, but if you take a look at what they all have in common,
they all are at the top of their respective lineups,
they all have the Sapphire Crystal, which is not an inexpensive glass material to have
on a watch (and rightfully so),
and they all have that one feature that makes them unique.
From the World's first GPS-Assisted Navigation Watch
to the World's First GPS Atomic Solar Hybrid with Casio-original GPS Hybrid radio-controlled
technology,
to the only watch in the lineup that has a Quad Sensor…
I mean these are big claims…
...and further, these are not the types of watches that you get for the money…
....let's just keep it real….
...if you get these watches, it's usually because there is a special feature
or function that has caught your eye,
whether that be the aesthetics or the sapphire crystal or whatever it is.
So is it worth the money?
For me personally,
I would say yes.
And the reason is because it's a beast of a watch.
I don't need the Quad Sensor.
It seems pretty cool to have a watch that has a Quad Sensor
when I'm used to seeing watches with Twin or Triple Sensor.
For me, I personally like Tough Solar, Multi-band 6,
the Sapphire Crystal, and the big, bold bezel.
Am I on a coast guard crew...NOOOOO.
But this watch is just a "must-have" in my collection.
Why wouldn't I?
So for me, I would get it simply for the aesthetics and the technology.
And when I make a purchase, I tend to get top of the line when it comes to most things
unless I simply can't justify the value.
And I love a good looking watch and I'm into tech…
...what can I say, I'm a nerd, okay...I said it.
So those are my reasons…
...don't know what yours might be.
However, if you don't want or need all of those features,
and would rather have Twin Sensor, Mineral Glass, no multiband or no tough solar,
but still want features like the tide graph and moon age data,
then the GN-Gulfmaster is your watch.
So in my opinion, one isn't better than the other per se...they're just different.
All Gulfmaster models are complete knockouts
and are powerful watch models that G-Shock has to offer.
You can't go wrong with any of them.
From a size perspective, the GWNQ is 113 grams and 57.3 millimeters wide,
the GWN is 101 grams and 55.8 millimeters wide,
and the GN is 77 grams and 53.4 millimeters wide
And from a pricing perspective,
the original retail price for the GN-1000 is only $300,
the GWN-Gulfmaster is just $500, and the GWNQ is $850 USD.
All right, so that's the first question.
Second question is "Jenesis, can I have access to that comparison chart?
And the answer is yes of course.
The link is included in this video's description

So check that out.

How to narrow the waist of a jeans - Duration: 7:53.
Hello, today I am going to shake the waist of a pair of trousers
I'm going to shake it here, in the ass
in this way we narrow the waist and also a little bit the hips
catching in the back seam
I start by marking where the pins are with the soap and then I remove the pins
now I am here, in the waist, of brand name and so we know what we are going to cut
they are seven centimeters
the signal reaches here
this is what we are going to narrow
as you are seeing this butt is loaded with the two stitches
and we are going to start to unstitch
the sign of the soap comes to here
let's break up a little bit more down
I have to undo the waist
this stretch here
and also the loop
and in the first stitching of the loaded, of the two that he's wearing, the first stitching, the one that's here
you see in the little eyelash
this one here
the first one that we have to unstitch
up here I have to measure 7 centimeters
they are 3.5 cm for one side and 3.5 cm for another
now I take half
and I double it
I put the pin
this seam here has to match
I put a pierced pin
You see, it has to match
and now, we are joining the soap mark from one side to the other, which coincide
the typical seam of the loaded that is folded
Now I have to remove the stitching that I have left
and now, to begin with
so that the union is perfect between what is and what we are going to do
you have to follow these steps
we open
we already have everything unstitched
we open here
and now, we put a pin
where is the mince of the last stitching that I have removed
that's where we have to start the stitching again what are we going to do
right here and we passed the stitching over the pins
Cutting leaving 1.5 cm of seam and over-thread
now I'm going to pass the double stitching, here, to the seam
now I'm going to cut out at the waist what I have left
I do it like that
I put here
and now I leave 1 cm, from here, the central seam
that is, I have to cut here
short straight
and on this side the same
I leave 1 cm
I open my waist
I have to join the waist
It is super important that this line matches, typical of washing, one with another
I open the seams and I put a stitching around here on the edge
and now we sew
this is the back, the seam below
here well mounted
the seam well inside the waist
the seam is very open
the inner seam
and this stitching has to match the backstitch stitching
well tucked in and we put the stitching
the clip we put it just above the seam of the union that we have in the waist
and we do a top and bottom stitching
you are already seeing the result
I have narrowed here the waist, I have narrowed 7 cm that is a size and a half
here also, sewing
here you can reduce until the pockets leave you

10 Biggest And Best Changes In Tropico 6 | Pirates, Palaces And A Holographic Presidente - Duration: 8:46.
Hello and welcome to Rock Paper Shotgun.
I know a fair amount about working under a brutal dictator - my fellow video person Matthew
is a cruel leader - which is why I feel right at home in Tropico 6.
It's currently out in beta and due to be released in January 2019, and I recently had
a hands-on with the latest build.
I'm here to quickly zip you through the new additions in Tropico 6, as well as some
returning ideas that are getting revamped.
Let us know what you're looking forward to in Tropico 6, and if you do enjoy this
video once you've watched it please do give it a like and subscribe to Rock Paper Shotgun
for more videos like it.
That's a request, not a mad dictator's order.
Let's kick things off with some of the basics you can expect in Tropico 6: there are 15
mission maps, each map tells its own story, and features in its own scenario.
Now, jumping into the first map I was shown - the Bureaucracy map, which has multiple
islands, an Archipelago situation where each island are different sizes, with different
altitudes.
This map comes with a Caribbean theme, with a clear emphasis on infrastructure and public
transportation.
If the idea of separate islands worries you, you can easily connect islands by building
bridges to each island with ease.
With new maps come new buildings, starting off with bus garages where you can define
the start and end position of bus stops, but they are already getting feedback: people
want multiple bus stops (like in Cities Skylines).
Another new building is the parking deck, allows people to jump into vehicles and get
to work.
Both new buildings decrease travel times from one island to another, as buildings don't
function unless people are actually working at them - like real life.
This video can't be made if I'm not sitting at my desk.
If you look at these power plants over here you'll see they're not really functioning
as people aren't actually at work.
They could be down the pub, they could be at church or they could be increasing any
number of their other needs.
Each Tropican has different needs they need to fulfill.
Fun, for example, means they will leave work when it is low and go to a bar to get it higher,
meaning travel is important here too, so they can fulfill needs like grabbing something
to eat or going to church.
The quicker they can do this the quicker they can get back to work.
You can now build tunnels, use them to create shortcuts or reach areas that are secluded,
no need to go via sea if you don't want to, but this is all tied to the Era system.
The Era System, for those who don't know, was Introduced in Tropico 5 and gives you
different timelines to play with.
The Bureaucracy map is quite far through the eras and has nearly all buildings, but in
the starting and early eras you'll need to build up your empire with good economy
and cities, so not all buildings are available.
In earlier eras you may have needed to use a boat to get to this area, but as you get
further along you'll be able to build a tunnel to the same area for faster transport
times.
Another new mode of transport is cable cars, which allow level designers to play with elevation.
Maps are no longer mostly flat.
Cable cars allow players to reach higher grounds, for example to reach a tourist attraction
on the top of a mountain.
They can also use it to connect different islands to each other, and even then link
that to a bus route, for example, to allow easy travel around the island
You can now customise El Presidente's Palace with different carpets types, wall colours,
and objects - do you want a shark tank on your roof?
Or a hologram of El Presidente?
Obviously all very over the top just like what you'd expect from El Presidente.
In multiplayer you can then show off the progress you've made and what items you've unlocked,
everybody loves some good bragging rights.
You can also change how it's laid out, and can also move where the palace is, so it's
handy to relocate it if you're running out of space.
New to Tropico 6 are Raids and heists, where Pirate coves allow you to get access to the
raid screen.
You can send out Tropicans to roam and steal landmarks and world wonders, which will trigger
certain quests to successfully heist a building.
You have to be careful though, as pirates could rebel and may have requests before they'll
finish their mission - such as more rum.
I dunno about you but I don't think being drunk helps your efficiency at your job.
The Landmarks and World Wonders that these pirates can bring back to your island serve
as tourist attraction sites, bringing in even more revenue.
Each world wonder has a unique gameplay feature and you can use some of these to your advantage.
For instance with St Basil's Cathedral, their faith happiness is directly in charge of how
happy they are in their other needs.
If they lose faith happiness some of their other happiness levels are affected in the
same way, but if you keep the budget up for the cathedral, then you only have to worry
about their religion happiness need in order to keep the others high.
Not all maps look the same, here we are looking at the Shackland map, where there are lots
of differences compared to the last map: more desert, many canyons - and lots of shacks,
obviously.
We'll get to those in a moment.
This map shows experimentation with different biomes, not everything looks lush and caribbean.
There is also a lot of land mass that is directly connected rather than separate Archipelagos
like we saw on the last map.
Here is where I learned more about Building efficiency and how to adjust efficiency with
certain buildings.
There are many types of plantation on this island, and a couple of work modes that help
you choose how efficient they are.
The two workmodes I saw were mono culture and multi culture, and they exist to help
the plantations to get efficiency boosts.
Mono is the same neighbours, multi is next to different neighbours and these will help
efficiency even if fertility is low.
There are helpful fertility overlays, which help you decide where to plant your various
crops.
However, if you need something but don't have enough fertility for it you can always
import it, but you will have import prices that will change what the worth is.
You want me to pay HOW MUCH for some bananas?
I don't even like bananas.
Shackland's map is interesting, as the abundance of shacks means that the player is faced with
a new challenge.
The residential buildings are locked, meaning the citizens are having to live in shacks
and so their happiness with the housing is very low.
In this mission there is an emphasis on increasing happiness in other categories to compensate
for the low housing happiness.
Which leads me onto the return of Election speeches.
In these, you must be careful with what you acknowledge, for example, in Shackland it
wouldn't be wise to acknowledge the housing crisis, you can blame a superpower for all
your problems - but be careful, as those superpowers will get annoyed, and could attack, and this
is the same with various factions if you blame them, making sure their satisfaction levels
don't drop too low, they can give ultimatums which will probably lead to a rebellion if
you fail them.
Be careful though, you will get demands based on what you promised, and will then need to
fulfill those demands to get satisfaction up.
You don't really want a rebellion, as cool as it sounds.
The Broker is a new character coming to the game which allows the player to react to different
situations, gives you the option to do things such as a "convincing talk" to avoid particular
demands.
He costs Swiss Money - Swiss money is El Presidente's private bank account, so the Broker is a new
way on how to spend this money in meaningful ways.
Swiss money also means can get additional immigrants, knowledge points or raid points.
Knowledge points you can usually get from the library, but the Broker allows you to
react on short notice..
The broker comes with only four options to begin with, you have to pay to unlock more,
and it costs to refresh if none are suitable or if you have used too many options up.
Everything you get from The Broker are fleeting modifiers, helping you to react to short term
situations, but nothing long term.
Prisons are another way for you to create money, but this time from criminals.
By setting up a penal colony, you'll increase immigration rate, but this comes with the
chance of them turning criminal.
Which leads to your Police stations needing the correct work mode, as they'll need to
be set up to arrest these criminals.
Switch Police work modes to Live and Let Live to increase Swiss money.
You're also able to change the Prison work mode to decrease efficiency but increase revenue.
By looking at economy almanac, you can see where you're getting your revenue, and it
seems like this El Presidente is making a pretty penny from convicts.
Finally, a quick look at the Chocolate Factory map, which focuses on chocolate production.
You'll only really need Cocoa and Sugar, meaning you'll need to check crop conditions
overlay to see local value.
You can see the number changing in the top right, showing you how good this land is for
the specific product.
This map is here to guide the player a bit to have them explore different islands.
And there we have it, all of the lovely stuff coming to Tropico 6.
Are you excited to get back into the wonderful and morally shady world of Tropico?
Or are you completely new to the series?

Thrash or Die #4 - Havok - Duration: 9:58.
Hi everyone, and welcome to the 4th episode of "Thrash or Die", the show that talks about
Wow, I didn't see that coming !
So, as you just saw, the band featured today is Havok !
And we'll also talk about a thing we raised in the episode of "Metalliwhat ?" on Megadeth
and for which Havok is a very good example :
Political lyrics !
So, everything starts in 2004 in Denver, Colorado when David Sanchez, singer/guitarist,
starts the band when he's still in high school.
A few demos and EPs later, and some line-up changes that will leave David only remaining member of the band,
Havok releases its first album, "Burn", in 2009.
Well, holy shit !
Not bad for a first album, heh ?
If it came out in the 80s, it would have been at least at the same level as the ones of Testament and Overkill,
to quote examples we already saw.
There's everything that makes a good album : Technically it's great,
the riffs are a very good headbang-material, as they say in english,
and David's voice is all we can ask for a thrash singer.
Now the terrain is well prepared for Time is Up !
Alright. Now it's good, we have an album that kicks some bloody ass !
Again with a different line-up,
This time it's David and Jesse who stayed, and we have 2 new guys on guitar and drums.
and by the way, I think Pete Webber's drums are a big part of what makes this album awesome.
This, and the bulldozer-riffs that they smash in our faces on almost every track.
And on this album, there is "Fatal Intervention". So hang on to your butts :
Best track on the album.
Best track of the band !
BEST FUCKING THRASH SONG OF ALL TIME !
Sorry, I may have got a little carried away.
But is it my fault, that the band writes that kind of songs ?
So, Fatal Inter... Eh, Time is Up !
So, the album is better than "Burn", which was good, but a little bit more... Neutral, if I may say.
All songs are good, but they lack the little thing that would make them awesome.
While on "Time is Up", you take 6 or 7 awesome songs in your face !
Well, I'm just quibbling here, because "Time is Up" is so good I feel forced to mark the difference, but "Burn" is very cool.
The next one is a little bit below as well, but frankly it's fine also.
"Unnatural selection" ! 3rd album of Havok, released in 2013.
As I was just saying, I find it globally less good than "Time is Up",
There are only 3 or 4 tracks that stand out, and the rest is only a partial success.
I won't say that the album is bad, but when you release "Time is Up", obviously it's not easy to do better.
The highlight of this album is the drums.
Pete Webber is a monster of precision and accuracy in his speed, and it's clearly him who carries the album.
And there, we begin to enter today's subject with "I am the State" that you just heard, or the great
"Give me Liberty... Or Give me Death !"
And they don't go easy ! "Democracy is dead", etc.
And the quote of Thomas Jefferson at the end :
But this is only the beginning. Because last year, they released "Conformicide", their 4th album. Here we go :
There we go. No restraint, we give everything we've got !
Just before discussing the lyrics I would like to talk about a pretty important point of this album :
This fucking bass !
Incredible !
First time I listened to the album I was blown away !
And I'm not the only one, the top comment on Youtube was this :
These awesome slaps and basslines are the courtesy of Nick Schendzielos, new recruit of Havok,
whom they found in the grincore band "Cephalic Carnage", which also comes from Colorado.
The bass was already pretty technical in the previous albums, but here we reached a whole other level.
Besides, in Havok it's always been well present in the mix, and that's a good thing.
I link you here the episode of "Metalliwhat ?" on bass, in case you haven't seen it.
Alright, it is time to talk about the lyrics, with a little game : The wheel of opposal !
Alright, let's start with the 1st subject :
Religion, oh, it starts hard ! "Dogmaniacal !"
2nd turn :
Political correctness ! Ah, this one is good !
Another turn ? Let's go !
The Media ! This one is not kidding !
Last one for the road ? I know you want it !
Politicians ! Good one !
Incredible how he screams on this chorus.
And I feel like the more albums they release, the more he screams !
Not that I complain about it !
I conceed that given the lyrics, it's better than if he sang softly.
But being so angry in their lyrics doesn't prevent them to be silly once in a while.
For example, here's the profile pic of their facebook page.
Well ? Anything ?
Another thing I love about Havok is that sometimes the singer will throw a little punchline
to launch the guitar solo, and is SO effective !
A few examples :
And my favourite :
So, to get back on the lyrics, it's something rather common in Thrash Metal to have commited lyrics like that.
Well, it depends on the bands. Some don't care at all.
How can we explain that ?
Well, for me it's another legacy of Punk, as we saw in previous episodes,
the guys are angry, and they use their music to carry their message.
And also, given the aggressivity of the riffs and the songs, it fits really well to have strong messages behind.
It's sure that you won't oppose war or media control while playing Folk or Power, it's not the idea.
That being said, I personnally don't really know where to place myself with this.
Because it's fastly annoying for me when a band starts throwing their political ideas ,
especially at a concert, between songs.
But on the other hand, when it's in the lyrics it bothers me less,
because the music makes the anger stronger with its aggressivity, so it's much more enjoyable.
Maybe the fact that doing it in the lyrics is less bothering because they are worked on, even romanticized sometimes,
It's not just the messages put here like a shit on a plank.
I beg your pardon !?
Excuse-me, Sire. It's on the...
Anyway. So, about the album suggestions :
Well, just like Lost Society, there's not a huge amount of choice anyway, but if I can advise you :
Start with "Time is Up", you won't be disappointed.
After that, "Confirmicide" is good to carry on,
even if there's a little bit too much mid-tempos for me, you know the drill,
But the sound is excellent, especially the bass !
And then, "Unnatural Selection" and "Burn", they are more or less equal in terms of quality.
Havok haven't really made a bad album, so you can't go wrong when listening to their records.
I'll see you soon on the "Metalliwhat ?" channel, and stay attentive, there's a few surprised coming.
Cheers !

How about chocolate and coconut milk?
- Now that's more like it.
Initialize a recipe creation.

(Upbeat music)
- First of all, you're going to go wanna to use
canned coconut milk here, full fat.
We want it fully integrated,
and I find blending it up works best depending on the brand.
Some you can just shake together,
but make sure there aren't any lumps.
Finely dice your chocolate.
Use a vegan variety to make vegan truffles here.
(upbeat music)
Add some of the coconut milk to a saucepan,
and heat until warm and just beginning to simmer.
Remove from the heat, and add chocolate and stir.
Cover with a lid to trap the heat in,
and melt down the chocolate for five minutes.
Then, stir to integrate keeping as much
of the heat trapped as possible until melted and creamy.
Transfer that mixture to a dish,
and set in the fridge to firm up
for a few hours until solid.
If a knife comes out clean, you can start scooping.
I used a mini cookie scoop for my truffle balls.
These are great as is.
But for those optional third ingredient risk takers,
feel free to toss these in a bit of cocoa powder
for a coating.
Shake off any excess powder.
Then, transfer to a plate or piece of parchment,
and store in the fridge for a few hours.
Thaw them out a few minutes before serving
for creamy indulgent truffles.
These are super smooth to bite into
and a great holiday edible gift, too.
I hope you enjoyed another Two Ingredient Take Over.

Top 5 Things You Need to Know About Ready Labware Services (Before You Buy!) - Duration: 5:01.
Are you considering outsourcing your labeling needs?
Outsourcing can make your lab more efficient but first you need
to figure out if it's right for your processes.
Today we'll hear from David Richmond,
one of our experts in Ready Labware Services,
which is our label outsourcing program.
Today, David is here to answer
the five most frequently asked questions
about this program, including what it is,
how it works, how it's priced, and more.
Stay tuned.
(staccato music)
Ready Labware Services is an offering
whereby you receive your labware
ready-to-use, right out of the box at your bench.
It's already procured.
We use our own resources to procure
the labware that you want.
So we take the time to do that.
We barcode the labware.
We scan 100% of the barcodes that we make for you
so that you can be assured
that they'll scan in your equipment.
There will be no misreads.
We also tare weigh the labware for you as well.
And we can provide you with a customized report
for that tare weighing.
And then finally we can package it.
If you need it color-coded in certain packaging
or if you need it packaged sequentially,
no missing numbers, however you need it,
that's how we can put it together
for your application and your use.
The key takeaway with Ready Labware Services
is that we have a lot of options for you.
You can pick and choose what's the best fit
based on your budget or your requirements for your program.
If your concern is that
we don't duplicate one of your numbers,
we have systems in place that allow us to track that.
We generate files that tell us what we intend to print.
We scan 100% of your barcodes,
and then we compare that output file
to the file that we intended to print
as well as as previous numbers that we've
printed for you in the past to make sure
that we have not duplicated any of your numbers.
If, for example, you were to send us
an order that has a duplicate number,
our system would flag that before we even enter the order.
We'd come back to you to make sure that you're
giving us a duplicate number to print.
Our Ready Labware Services imaging
is tested based on your requirements.
You may need a barcode image that only lasts
for a couple of days before it gets thrown out,
or you may need an image on a container that's gonna last
30 years in your compound storage warehouse.
You may be concerned about the accuracy of your tare weigh
in your compound storage library.
You may wanna make sure that that container
fits back in the rack after you put a barcode on it.
You may need to make sure that your automation
will reliably scan the barcode
or that the label will survive the different chemicals
in your environment or the heat that it's exposed to.
We have three different technologies,
ceramic, two types of direct mark,
as well as a selection of pressure-sensitive adhesives
that we can bring to bear for your application
to make sure that it endures your environment
and lasts for as long as you need it to.
We've been getting more inquiries
about our ability to provide labware that is Nase-free.
We have a room where we practice Nase-free production.
We're gowned up.
We wear masks and gloves and hairnets
so that we don't cross-contaminate that labware.
If you need to have it certified so that it is Nase-free,
we can offer that to you as well
with a third-party certification
that your labware is coming to you Nase-free.
A lot of things go into figuring out
what the cost would be versus the value you're receiving.
And the good thing about what our offering is
is that we have several technologies
that we can bring to bear for your application.
So to start with, we can either do a simple label
all the way up to direct mark or ceramic labeling,
all of those have different costs,
and it allows you to pick which one
is the best fit for your application.
Other alternatives we have,
do you not need any missing numbers?
Is that a requirement?
Or do you need tare weighing?
Or is there special packaging
that you require?
We can add those into the service.
They can come out of the service.
They all get factored into the total cost.
But the main point is is that we have
a lot of options that we can talk about with you
that allow you to figure out based on your budget
which is the best way to go for you.
Thanks for watching.
Hopefully now, you understand a little more
about our Ready Labware Services program
and how it can benefit your lab.
If you'd like to learn more about the benefits
of outsourcing, follow the links in the description
for more articles and videos.
If you liked this video, please give it
a big thumbs up and subscribe.
Thank you, see you next time!

This phenomenon took place in 2010 and today in 2018, I do not know at all or are
Analyses …

Mankind lives in two Galaxies - Clixoom Science & Fiction ENGLISH - Duration: 3:47.
Pardon me?
How can that be?
The space telescope of ESA, the European Space Agency, Gaia is now collecting data showing
that our Milky Way is a galaxy made up of two galaxies.
Because our galaxy has a very special property that Gaia has determined and the result is
really mindblowing!
So why do we live in two galaxies?
Now on Clixoom Science & Fiction You can find science videos here every day.
Subscribe to the channel, because only then you won't miss any of our new video!
Welcome!
This is a really unbelievable Discovery.
Our galaxy, our Milky Way consists of two galaxies.
And this has really surprised astronomy.
So far, astronomy has assumed that perhaps a few small satellite galaxies, for example
very small entities, have merged with our Milky Way.
But this assumption was a mistake.
A research team from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands has now found proof of
a huge cosmic crash.
About 30,000 examined stars are completely different from all other stars in the galaxy.
Most of the stars move in the opposite direction and their chemical composition is also different.
This is really crazy.
They have very similar properties.
And scientists also found 13 globular clusters with the same properties in the halo of the
Milky Way, the huge spherical area around the disk of our galaxy.
The team's conclusion: These stars and star clusters in the halo all originate from the
same galaxy, and not from our home galaxy.
Amina Helmi from the team comments: "We expected stars from fused satellite galaxies in the
halo.
What we didn't expect is that most of the halo stars actually originate from one big
fusion."
Until now, astronomy was certain that there would be remains of dwarf galaxies out there,
but that they found a whole galaxy right away, was a surprise to everyone.
The team has done more research.
Apparently, 10 billion years ago there was a huge crash between our Milky Way and another
galaxy, which led to the formation of our galaxy as we know it today.
This was also something the research team was able to determine.
The Milky Way is not a thin disk everywhere.
In the middle it is ten times thicker.
Until now it was completely unclear why.
Simulations show that this thick part was caused by the crash.
And that probably also explains the mysterious flutter of the galaxy.
It does this in a north-south direction, which means perpendicular to its axis of rotation
or parallel.
Until now it was assumed that the passage of smaller galaxies had triggered this movement.
According to the latest findings, this movement would then still be the post-oscillation of
the crash.
At that time, the Foreign Galaxy penetrated the Milky Way from above or below and first
bulged it in one direction.
By gravity it was pulled back and bulged the galaxy in the other direction, the reason
for the thicker area in the middle of our galaxy and this oscillation.
However, this is still pure speculation and there is no research on it yet.
But it is an impressively clear and illuminating picture.
We are curious what Gaia will find out during the mapping of our galaxy, but that was already
absolutely mindblowing.

Bryce Vine | Uncovered - Duration: 3:34.
What's up? My name is Tonya and today we're gonna find out: who the f*** is Bryce Vine?
So you must be Bryce, right?
Welcome to Brussels!
So do you actually have a crush on Drew Barrymore?
Have you ever seen the movie "The Wedding Singer"?
It was a movie in the late 90's and she was the main girl in it.
And she was just such a sweet, sincere, funny girl and I remember thinking even when I was a kid,
I was like: "that's the kind of girl that I feel like people don't really talk about", especially in music.
So I wanted to talk about that kind of person, not necessarily her, just that kind of girl.
What's your biggest goal with your music? What do you want to achieve?
You know, there's a lot of gaps in the world these days.
People are very angry with each other all the time it seems like and the media doesn't help that.
And there's not a lot of music to make people feel better.
Like feel better, you know? Music that you could roll the windows down and drive down the freeway with your friends and have good memories to.
And I'd much rather be a bridge between people than a gap, so I'm working towards that.
Who inspires you in your music?
A lot of the songwriting of Frank Ocean, just because it's so free-formed.
It doesn't seem like he's following any kind of pattern, he doesn't care about rhyming
I love Red Hot Chili Peppers, this album specifically actually, is fantastic.
And they again, like... anyone that has a sound that is uniquely their own is special.
And I always, even if I don't love the music, I have to find a reason to appreciate it.
So I can understand what it is that they did to make it so unique.
If you can give advice to other aspiring artists, what should they do in their career?
I guess you just have to find what you can offer the world through your art form
and it just has to be something they need or something that they crave
or something they didn't realize they wanted until you provide it.
And that's a very difficult thing to do.
You just have to keep trying things until something works and it helps when it's authentic.
You want to create something special, it's... the only thing that you really can do in this world
is to leave your name or a mark or a statue or a painting or an invention...
that reminds people of you and that's how you can live forever.
I'm not a religious person, so my mark on the world is to be remembered for music that makes people feel better.
So it's like, that's everything I have to aim toward.
