Hello, and welcome to my new talk show,
The Other Side of the Mirror.
Today, we welcome Charles Simard-Hudon.
(applause)
Hello.
Thank you for accepting our invitation,
it's really cool.
It's my pleasure.
How old are you now, Charles Simard?
24.
So you're 24, and you already have two wives and a kid.
Two children, one wife.
Two children, one wife… because that's not how it usually is with hockey players.
So you got married very young, you get to Montreal, and sometimes, we see that and ask why?
Why what?
Well, hockey players are millionaires, they've got the looks, hair flowing through the helmet, skating fast...
and you show up here married with kids and everything.
I don't really know how to answer that.
I saw a feature on your kids in La Presse recently,
and it said that what you found hard was not the lack of sleep,
but that the kids bring home germs from daycare.
Do you think that your kids are the reason that Carey Price caught the flu?
Maybe, yeah. Maybe that's where it started.
It can go around the team.
So we don't know whose kid it was...
No, we don't know who started it.
What do we do if we figure out who it was?
Patient zero. We'll never find them.
(whistle)
Time for a break. We'll be right back.
(whistle)
We're back with Charles Simard-Hudon.
Charles,
all hockey players have nicknames.
Who has the weirdest nickname in the room?
Jordie Benn: upside-down face.
(laughs)
Upside-down face, because of his beard?
Like, when you turn him upside-down, it looks like… Wow.
When you think about it, it's well done.
What's something you couldn't tell us that you could say in the room that you couldn't tell us?
That stays in the room.
Do you consider yourself to be a good driver?
My wife would say no, but I would say yes.
Why would she say no?
I've ruined a few mags.
I know a place where you can get two mags forgiven, free of charge.
Intact Insurance?
Just saying.
We've reached the end, Charles.
You've been a great guest, and I have a gift for you.
Oh yeah?
It's to put after the 'd'.
Because when you play in the United States, they can't pronounce your name.
The score, the goal by Charles Hudson.
It's easier to pronounce than 'Hudon'.
Good. Thank you very much.
Thank you, Charles.
(applause)
We're finished.

Cheap Christmas Bar Gifts and Accessories (2018 Gift Guide) - Duration: 5:07.
In this video I'm going to be sharing my '12 Days of Christmas Gift Guide' for 2018
of cheap bar accessories, tools and everyday bar products. Coming up!
Hi, I'm Rick from Bar Designers, where I share my passion about bar design, draft beer
system design and product reviews. If you're new here, please subscribe and check-out
the show notes and affiliate links in the 'YouTube Description', below.
Later in this video I'll give you 'Today's Takeaway'
Now let's jump into the show!
The first item on my list is this 'Cap-On Freeflow Pourer'; one of the advantages of
the Freeflow Pourer is that it protects the liquor from evaporation, insects and
dust; the other advantages of the Freeflow Pourer is that they don't have to be
removed and cleaned every night like regular speed pourers; all you have to do
is recap the bottle and at 75 cents apiece, you save at least that much in
liquor and labor on each bottle.
The next item on the list is this stainless steel
'V-Rod' bottle opener; besides being a standard bottle opener, this end is
designed to pop the stubborn pour spouts from liquor bottles - genius! -- and for a
couple dollars more the 'V-Rod' bottle opener can be personalized.
The next item on the list is a San Jamar
10-piece domed garnish center - the perfect solution for
garnishes, condiments and toppings! The dome features a patented dome lid that
rotates back for easy access; also included are integrated snap-on caddies
that store straws, stirrers and picks.
My next gift is this-3 compartment margarita
salt rimmer by Tezzorio - ideal for making Margaritas, Bloody Mary's and
Gimlets, this salt and sugar glass rimmer provides a convenient all-in-one tool
for all your drinks; the trays are labeled to avoid cross-contamination.
Next up is this 2- piece stainless steel mixing tin set by Boston Shaker,
made from 304 food grade stainless steel, this forms a perfect watertight seal
and fits all standard Hawthorne and Julep cocktail strainers and is
dishwasher safe.
Next up is this 4-prong cocktail bar
strainer, by Tezzorio, sold in a set of three; made of commercial grade stainless
steel, strain ice for mixed drinks with this 4-prong design,
perfect for bars and restaurants.
The next gift is this 18" by 12" rubber
service mat by BonBon, sold in a 2-pack; made from thermoplastic rubber, the bond
BonBon bar mat protects bar tops and prevents drinks from hydroplaning - a must
for every bar!
The next gift is this rubber drink rail service mat sold
in a 3-pack, set this 24" x 3 1/2" service mat is
made from heavy thick rubber.
The next gift is this Cocina Prime cocktail jigger set in a
set of four; these stainless steel double- sided jiggers come in four different
sizes, so you can make any drink. To make the perfect drink every time, you need
jiggers like these, which have a preset amount - NOT the jiggers that have
graduation marks on the inside.
The next gift is this Winco 'Flow-N-Stow'
fruit juice and liquor bar pour bottles in the quart-size, in a set of six; this
can be used to pour liquor or juice into your glass without any mess; it can also
act as a storage device as the cap on the bottom can be used as a lid.
The next gift is this professional wine opener
by HiCoup - this three-in-one multi-function
waiter's key is a #1 Best Seller
that blends the features of a wine
corkscrew, bottle opener and foil cutter, altogether
in a stylish package with a rosewood handle.
And my last gift is this 'Free Beer Tomorrow'
bar pub sign; a great sign and conversation starter
for any bar, pub, restaurant or mancave!
'Question of the Day': what was your favorite gift from this list or what would you
recommend that wasn't included that you could share with other people in this
community? Let me know in the 'YouTube Description' below this video.
Thanks so much for checking-out this video; please be sure to subscribe to Bar Designers
so you can be notified automatically every time a new video is
posted and check-out the show notes in the 'YouTube Description' for links and
any other items that I may have forgotten to mention and please hit the 'Like' button
if you enjoyed this video. Thank you!
Jiggers of a fixed-size will deliver consistently-good drinks; jiggers with
graduation marks can be easily misinterpreted and can lead to huge
profit losses over time. See you next time!

Russian masseuse teaches massage for beginners. - Duration: 5:56.
Friends, I welcome you.
Channel of aesthetic beauty and psychological health
again with you on the air.
Now we have the fourth part of our marathon "From
newbie amateur.
For those who really wants to learn the basics of massage,
movements, ergonomics of massage.
The position of the body of the master.
We had in the third part similar movements.
Here is the same movement will repeat only
it is more strengthened.
Than we can strengthen the movement.
We can perform movement fingers can carry
movement of the base of the palm can perform movement
half-bent brush in the fingers, and we can hard cam
- it will be the most intense motion.
Nothing is complicated.
Or do the fingers, either perform base
palms or arm bend, but not completely or completely
hard cam.
Here, as soon as we start massage procedure, we will
massage to do since we already done with your fingers
the base of the palm carry hand half bent.
Fingers bend, they should be with us soft, mobile.
We will distribute the load from knuckles to
base of the palm, moving her knuckles and then leaving
on the ground.
That is, we made a strong movement and then go
smoothing down and deep muscle work.
Same movement as we had in the third part.
You can see, remember.
Emphasis - the master is in a certain the rack that we have mentioned
in every part.
And start the movement.
We go along the spine we move the muscle and we leave
on the base of the palm.
I'm showing now alone hand, then you can attach
second hand in order to strengthen it.
And my body weight has moved on one hand.
That is, the client will feel deeper and more
penetrating motion.
Here it is, if with one hand show.
With one hand I never I do not do it at all
weak movement.
To my clients it would not liked.
What is it is relax - they would say.
And showing this movement with two hands.
I apply force.
Enough it should be is sensitive.
I lead along the spine retracted muscle bent
fingers and turn on the base of the palm.
Here is a movement.
You can even watch that muscle is moving.
Very good to do it, when the back hurts when
some kind of cramps.
Can you feel what is internal crunching.
This is due to the fact that the muscle tense when we have her
set aside palms we have her completely
gone, finished, and can feeling like being
like rolling or crunching.
And the logical end, we leave to the forearm.
But here we slide too, not touching the spatula, on soft
tissues, we slide along muscle and go to the base of the palm.
Here is a movement.
That is, done, gone on the muscle, you can smooth down.
We also stand on the couch do not rely, the client does not
touch with your body.
Do not lean on the couch, nor per customer.
And the next movement, usually after sensitive strong
movements can be done smoothing down.
One way smoothing, can be done in another.
Again we work completely by the body.
Again the knees are bent Little.
Our back is straight.
And the other way too the most as we did.
We move the muscle, we leave from the fingers to the base
palm
Such a smoothing down.
Do not forget to work the body.
And the other way.
Here, too, the movement, we must catch muscle and
pull it up a little to spine.
Here we take it, and here leading movement.
Here it is.
Come, friends, to us for education.
Put huskies.
Most importantly subscribe follow us.
And, of course, we love you!
We will share our experience.

Why the HydraFacial is such a hot-topic at the moment! (and why it's a bit gross!) - Duration: 14:32.
I'm just about to go into the clinic to go and have a facial treatment one of
which is performed every 15 seconds somewhere in the world
very exciting there's a bit of a buzz about it on the internet at the moment
it is of course the HydraFacial treatment let's go on in! Okay guys so
I'm here today with my good friend Debbie Thomas advanced skin specialist I'm
just about to go for HydraFacial that's for a lot of surging?
what is that let me get on the bed so what do you see is it bad? well everyone
that comes in to me there's always a little bit of dehydration
mainly it's a pollution in London so obviously you want to suck all of that
out and away which is what the HydraFacial is so good at doing irritation
around the middle of the skin again that can just be a bit stress you know
convenience of modern lifestyle causing skin to flare up so we want to also then
infuse it with lots of antioxidants calming and hydrating and probably some
red light therapy just to again reinforce the calming and the
strengthening so I'm just going to kind of go with the flow see what your skin
is doing see how it's reacting and then I will change and change up the
treatment and and tailor it to what I feel you asking me to a well we're going
okay so this treatment right now is all over the internet which is weird because
actually been out for quite a lot of time hasn't it? so I can work with a
facial for nine years we've now got four of them in the clinic why do you think
it suddenly just had this big increase in interest and I actually think that
people are still lightly you know everyone likes them it's something it's
a little bit gross the tub that collects all of the dead skin and the the grime
and at the back I think I think actually
that's the bit everyone gets really excited about it also cleanses like
really deep cleanses the skin and then it infuses the skin with various
different serums which means that you kind of get nutrients hydration so it
cleanses hydrates and exfoliates in one food and the tip if you like over the
skin well very very soon so obviously with the HydraFacial we can use several
different serums so the first thing that I'm going to do on you is a one that is
more specifically for cleansing so has got some very mild acids in there and it
means that the rest of the treatment and your skin absorbs products more
effectively and everything looks brighter so I'm just doing a quick
manual cleanse first cuz I always like to just make sure any makeup and
pollution grime SPF and everything is off the skin first and what are you
using right now I'm actually using a medicate product cleanser that contains
again just a little bit of acid actually so just very mild and combination of
salicylic acid and look at glycolic in there it gets into the pores a little
bit acids are fantastic for actually getting inside the pores to help to
break down blockages where is a manual scrub that you do is good for cleaning
the surface but it will never really get into the pores so I always say add a bit
of acid in so now I'm going to choose the tip that
I'm going to use on your skin I've got two choices at this point there's a
really strong one and then there's a medium one because your skin is a little
bit inflamed I know you like strong but we're going to do medium it's how
abrasive they are so the orange tip you can see
these tiny little holes and actually it's a lot rougher when you rub it over
the skin and because of these little holes you actually get more suction so
the whole thing tends to be slightly more aggressive so more exfoliation but
also stimulates circulation more where is the traditional HydraFacial tip this
is the one that I used when I originally started this is the one that's got the
little swirly kind of thing on so I'm actually going to use a little swirly
one on you this little spiral causes a vortex sort
of delivery system of the serum so actually pushes the serums in a little
bit deeper when you have to traditional microphone Frasier so here's a bit
drying scratchy kind of satisfying in a way because you know it's slowing off
the dead skin cells but afterwards the skin can feel a bit tight and dry and
there's the crystals and things can be a little bit dry so it takes a few days
and then suddenly your skin kind of springs to life in it all it's all great
because we all know a good explanation leaves the skin glowing the Hydra facial
takes all of that away it how to fish a lot first system that basically combined
the three different things of cleansing hydrating and exfoliation in one it's a
bit like a carpet shampooer so we're actually pushing the cleansing
serum into the skin pocket and it kind of works its way in it kind of breaks
down some of those blockages it loosens up the dead skin cells it breaks down
any teas on the surface the pollution and
everything and then it's sick all away and puts it into the nice little
container at the back of the machine nice and empty at the moment I feel like
I'm about to have liposuction it's a mini liposuction clear pause definitely
so a nice empty container so this is going to be basically where all of the
glue is going to end up my three main serums that I work with so the first one
is just cleansing really and it's quite good for dry dehydrated skins if I
thought someone that has got more congested acne prone skin I can also add
in the second serum which is also a cleansing serum but it's a it's got some
Vita hydroxy acids in as well which are a little bit more targeted towards
actually breaking down pause the congestion pause helping with acne and I
quite like a little bit of salicylic acid for rosacea as well so I'm probably
gonna add some about it in just around where you've got that information so
everyone wants to know what it feels like to have a HydraFacial
only way that I can describe it personally
is it feels like you're being very vigorously licked by a cat so it's not
uncomfortable it's just a little bit weird I'm just
the serum to move through these I like it there yeah yeah so the serum is now
starting to come through this tube is the clean serum being coming in and
being pushed onto the skin and then the bigger tube is everything being sucked
off and taken into our little chamber at the back so what I want to achieve on
your skin is a nice pink blushing because what that means is all the blood
is rushing to the area and when blood rushes to the skin it brings with the
nutrients oxygen and I feel kind of like a very mini vacuum
yeah can he can you tell us a little bit more about the other tips that you will
leader - you put a tip tips and hardly exfoliating at all it's more about
product and fusion and third serum that we use that actually is
just an antioxidant serum so we can use that to push the antioxidants into the
skin without exfoliating any more and then we have the the tip that actually
every useful sort of extraction as I suppose it's a it's a much smaller tip
and which makes it more aggressive and on places like the nose or chins
it just means that we can just slightly stronger and suction and exfoliation to
help us to loosen up those deeper
who doesn't want the slightly hydrated prompt yep doing that
how often do you recommend somebody had the hydration how long is a piece of
string you know we skin condition what your issues are we
tend to do a few treatments closer together so maybe even weekly to give
the skin a really boost and sort of get it working better what we're trying to
do is we're trying to encourage our skin to behave in a slightly different way
we're trying to get it to became in a more healthy way so by giving it a kick
start by doing a few closer together and then you look at someone's skin and you
can kind of go to perhaps monthly or you don't need to do weekly long-term in
fact it could be a little bit to do that because there's only so much
exfoliation your skin my stereo action a lot of people rely on
treatments like this who have really manic lifestyles and perhaps aren't
healthy because they're rushing around so much and traveling so much so they
rely on these treatments more whereas people that are quite quite good at
managing yeah lifestyle with diet and things and using
products come in a bit less I always say it's like if you only brush your teeth
when you go to see the hygenist yeah you have to be doing something at home as
well otherwise it just doesn't make any sense
exactly you've got to maintain what you're doing this is that this is your
boost I'm boosting you but you need to maintain on a daily basis is that it
we've done we're not done we've not got that was cleaning only I'm going to
change over to the little tip looks exactly the same only it's smaller and
as I say it's slightly rougher edge today you will feel it a little bit more
but this is perfect for the nose and those pesky little pores that we all
have on our nose I feel like this is where it's all going to happen maybe
this is where all the gunk is going to appear in the liposuction tube at the
back then the healthier someone's and if they are already exfoliating lots
and cleaning lots and all of those kind of things probably going to see less in
the country - I thought I made it so quick the viewing public the Hydra
facial were only working on removing dead skin so if you don't have a lot of
dead skin cells because your excellent it using your retinols and
everything else you are going to have a lot less well
we'll see at the end whether or not I get medal
I enjoy not one of them you do actually see
the blockages like coming out let it over 30 once you actually see the head
of them lifting out okay that is second cleansing belt part
so now I just want to put the antioxidants in okay so it's a hide is
basically a serum containing by harmonic acid and antioxidants and we're just
going to infuse the skin with those so that it has a nice sort of pave over
thing oh okay yumminess so some of that some type of facial treatments they do
have extra serums that you can put into the skin and there's some peels that you
can have which actually get infused through the tip so more of a stronger
peel rather than just the very mild cleansing acids and they also do things
like peptides and so this looks very similar to the first one a similar size
but it's just it's a lot smoother the actual ridges on is pronounced so we're
not going to get I say as much of the exfoliation but it's the same vortex
it's that pushing in so we just want to really saturate the skin with as much
hydration as possible because hydrated skin is absolutely so antiox plus this
is the serum that I'm using now exactly what it says on the 10th antioxidants
plus hydration so perfect so with this one I'm not going to be moving up
skinning quite the same way this is more 'pushing' the serum in
letting the vortexes suck
is there anybody who shouldn't have hydro facial really I mean if you've got
very inflamed broken skin probably not ideal to be scraping it think you're
quite sensitive you can still have
hydro facial you just need to turn it all down so I can do various different
settings so I can use the vacuum and I can use a really strong vacuum which job
to do a little bit seeing all the different so this is the main one I use
on everyone which is a vacuum of eighteen if I take it up to
take not that's it which I would never do on a client but this is Jesse
Oh
so and you can see much more redness up a lot quicker somewhere with that done
but can I have a look at the gunk so bearing in mind that the serum that was
coming out there is all clear that's not terrible no I have seen it before you
can see more lumpy bits in there and stuff I think we're probably not going
to see that with you because you just
but it is like cloudy you can see there is definitely some bits floating around
in there well thank you very much for that
I do feel nice and refreshed I do feel like my skin definitely is more hydrated
you know what it's like when you work in this kind of industry you often don't
get to have the treatments that you would really suggest what other people
so I'm really glad that I could get this opportunity to have my Hydra facial
hope you guys really enjoyed the video if you've got any questions about the
Hydra facial jump on in the comment section below and I will pass them on to
Deborah and see whether or not I can get a sensible response I'll let you know
then below join me again next week when god knows what I'll be doing but I will
see you then bye bye [INSERT HIDDEN SUBLIMINAL MESSAGE TO SUBSCRIBE HERE ;) ]

Top 10 Scary SCP First Contact Facts - Duration: 10:46.
Welcome back everyone - today Im talking about SCP First Contact by Dylan Royalty.
Right now, there are 3 kinds of people watching and youre all welcome.
If youve seen First Contact then youll love all the behind the scenes info Ive gathered,
if you love the SCP Foundation but havent seen First Contact yet - watch it, its on
YouTube, and then watch this - and if you don't recognise any of the words I just said,
well, sit tight, because Im about to bring you into the terrifying and captivating world
of the SCP Foundation.
My name is Danny Burke and this is the Top 10 Scary SCP First Contact Facts.
Starting off at number 10 now we have The Recap.
For those of you that havent seen First Contact - heres a little recap of the story.
A field agent for the Foundation codenamed -Eugene Smith- requested the Foundation conduct
an armed examination of an unnamed mine in the Yukon territory of Canada.
The foundation sent Mobile Task Force: Omega Orange to investigate.
Through the teams headcams and CCTV cameras, we see the team enter the dark mine and then
discover an abandoned government facility.
They find terrifying audio logs from the scientists who used to work there.
No sooner do they discover this new SCP, when the SCP discovers them.
The hunters become the hunted - who will make it out alive?
Other than that - Im not gonna give you any spoilers - make sure you watch the full video
on Evan Royaltys channel!
Moving on to number 9 we have Omega Orange.
Task Force Omega Orange may look like a bunch of normal special ops soldiers - but theyre
not.
Each and every member has been sentenced for a War Crime.
They now serve the Foundation in special operations such as the one show in the film.
They do this because they have the promise of eventually being released.
They have a service contract negotiated between the Foundation and the US government whereby
they are allowed to take part in missions to earn their freedom.
One caveat is that they must always be microchipped for the duration of their service.
Of course, this raises the question: is it a good idea to give hardened, convicted war
criminals some guns and set them loose in desolate areas?
Well, the story assures us that most unit members behave professionally and follow their
contracts to the letter in hopes of one day being free citizens.
So - Im sure that puts everyone at ease.
Next up at number 8 we have Creating The SCP.
The SCP that Evan created for this isnt actually an official SCP - as far as Im aware its not
even on the Foundations wiki page.
He said that writing the story was easy but he had no real idea about how the SCP would
turn out.
One of the things he wanted to explore was the idea of -investigative horror- … basically,
some characters immediately discover something scary - there is no long build up to that.
Then, with every new scary thing discovered about the scary thing, the stakes are ramped
up - if that makes sense.
With this is mine, its easy to see how he wove this concept into the story.
At first - all you know is that an anomaly has been found an that Omega Orange are sent
to investigate.
Its not until many layers are slowly revealed that we see the full horrific picture …
At number 7 now we have Time.
One thing that is difficult to asertain is when events in the story take place.
Its fair to assume that its present day when the team explore the complex - but when was
the building abandoned?
When McMann first started analysing the computers in the bosses offices - he mentions the date
and the windows operating system - both of these were expunged.
Not much help.
Later on though, he's seen listening to an audio log from a Dr Fields.
The date given is from November 7th 2005.
This would explain why Omega Orange thought the technology looked outdated but not ancient.
This date is somewhat backed up by the look of certain things - the laptops and PC monitors
on the table look like its from around 2005.
The facility may have been set up earlier than this date though and the technology updated
over the years.
Next up at number 6 we have The Easter Egg[a].
At 11 minutes into the video, just after we see McMann listening to an audio log, the
screen glitches and for a split second we see a message on the screen.
Its an angry message from a man called Evan Muir.
He claims he edited this video for the foundation and has been editing videos for them for over
7 years.
He complains that he's sick of the late night, he's sick of having to transfer the footage
to VHS because the Foundation cant stop SCPs from destroying other forms of media, and
he's sick that he cant even get a decent raise.
And so, he says, if they freeze the video at this exact moment and see this letter of
complaint - they can take that as his -retirement letter-, I think he means his resignation.
He finishes off the letter by wanting an employee called Ted to know that he's always disliked
his taste in music, his wife is a 6/10 and that he doesnt like the way he pronounces
the word -again- … its a great little easter egg and Evan confirmed that Evan Muir is actually
his real name.
So he's both the real editor and the fictional one!
And at number 5 now we have The Producer[b].
I figured it would be a good transition here to quickly talk about who made the video - on
YouTube their name is Evan Royalty.
It was uploaded to YouTube on October 26th 2018 - right before Halloween - and that was
no accident.
When sharing the video to Reddit[c] soon after, he said -I make a horror movie every Halloween
for my channel, decided to do one for the SCP universe.
It was a nightmare to make, but now its finally done- … sure enough, Evan has made a number
of other Halloween videos using video games for both the setting and characters.
2017s was called Katabasis[d] while 2016s was called Sacrifice[e].
He also has a soundcloud[f] where he's posted a few remixes and one original track.
He also has a patreon where he recently posted an apology to his donators saying that he
had become disheartened this year when videos he's spent months working on werent getting
any views.
Now that SCP is at 700,000 views and climbing, Evans decided to double down and give his
channel another chance!
Good news!
Next up at the number 4 spot we have The Post Credits.
After the climatic ending of the video, we are given some scrolling texts - almost like
a mission debrief.
It says that 7 months after the events seen in First Contact, the Foundation find out
from the Canadian government that the on site director had not told them the full extent
of the problems they had encountered, by the time the government arrived on site, they
were forced to simply seal the mine.
Thats why the Foundation had no idea what they were up against.
As punishment for this, the sites director was given amnesiacs and served prison time
for a falsified crime that he is unaware that he didnt commit.
Thats pretty shady stuff but its either that or he tells the world whats lurking down in
the mines …
Moving on to number 3 we have Harakiri[g].
In the lore Evan wrote for First Contact, he refers to Omega Orange in brackets as Hara
Kiri.
It turns out that this is a Japanese term, sometimes called Seppuku, that means cutting
the belly.
Its a form of Japanese ritual suicide by disembowelment and mainly used by samurai who chose to die
that way with honor rather than fall into the hands of their enemies and be tortured.
Its interesting that this name is attached the the Omega Orange team.
Is it simply a badass samurai term slapped onto a military unit?
I don't think so.
I think perhaps its a reference to the fact that the team is made up of these convicts
who are seeking to restore their freedom and honor.
To do this, they join Mobile Task Forces like this knowing of the dangerous SCPs they may
come into contact with, they also know that in some cases its practically suicide - just
like Harakiri.
Perhaps Im reading too much into it but I just thought it might be noteworthy - what
do you guys think?
At number 2 we have The Setbacks[h].
Evan talks a lot of the Directors Commentary about all the many setbacks he encountered
while making First Contact.
For starters, he was operating under a strict time limit as he wanted to get the whole thing
released before Halloween - as has become a tradition for his channel over the past
few years.
When it came to producing the video, he had a hard time filming it from the perspective
of the headcams.
A lot of the characters would start stutter stepping and he actually had to fix a rat
on top of peoples heads and then view it through the rats eyes to create the illusion of the
1st person headcam.
He's not even sure why this worked but it did.
There were issues with sound too.
Evan found that one of his voice actors recorded their lines with a very slight amount of reverb
- when he went to add on the radio effects to that voice, the reverb was amplified to
the point where the audio was unusable.
And finally at number 1 we have The Sequel.
For a lot of SCP fans, the first question they ask when they finish watching First Contact
is: how do I watch more?
Well Evan hasnt promised that he will continue to do SCPs - it wasnt something he was known
for before so theres no guarantee he will want to keep going.
However, I suspect that due to the overwhelming success and positive feedback, he may very
well decide to explore the SCP world once more.
In the comments section of his directors commentary, people were suggesting that he covers some
famous SCP mysteries that havent been fleshed out yet.
These include the failed exploration of the caves of SCP 610.
Then theres the containment breach of 096, the question about what happened to site 13
and many, many others.
What SCP would you like to see Evan make next?
And I think thats a great question to end the video on!
Im going to go ask Evan if I can do some voice acting for his next SCP video - why not - it
looks really fun.
What did you guys think of First Contact?
Do you think thats where SCP content should be moving into - more short films than long
wiki articles?
So many questions - cant wait to hear your answers - thanks for watching as always guys,
my name is Danny Burke and Ill see you all in the next video!

Top 5 Scary Horror Movies That Were Found Footage - Duration: 8:56.
Hello horror fans - and welcome back to the scariest channel on YouTube - Top 5 Scary
Videos - two parts compendium and one part necronomicon - and your go to guide for all
things horrific and horrifying.
What's going on guys - as per usual, I'll be your horror host Jack Finch - as we once
again dive back into the terrifying world of horror cinema, as we find ourselves agasp
at those silver screen depictions that are just a little too close to the bone - and
take a look at the Top 5 Scary Horror Movies That Were Found Footage.
Roll the clip.
Now - found footage horror, for me anyway - is a sub-genre that's either hit or miss
in the world of horror cinema.
On the one hand, it's an entirely captivating form - and an unparalleled way to bring an
audience into the visceral realm of point of view horror.
When it's done well - we feel every agonizing step, every panicked breath - and every gut-wrenching
reveal.
But when it's done badly - eh - it's really, really bad.
Now, there are a few films that I'd still recommend that didn't make this list, but
not because they're necessarily good - just because they're an experience, to say the
least.
August Underground, which is just messed up - Cannibal Holocaust, even more messed up
- and Mark Duplass' Creep - and Creep 2, to name a few.
But - let's get to the ones that are truly terrifying displays of Found Footage horror,
shall we?
Before we do that though guys - you know the drill by now - if you're a fan of this video,
found footage horror cinema - or just Top 5 Scary Videos in general - then please, be
a dear and hit that thumbs up button - as well as that subscribe bell so you can stay
up to date with your daily dose of horror.
Also - a huge thank you to all our latest and greatest subscribers, we read every one
of your comments - so stick around till the end and I just might read out some of my favourites.
Kicking off at Number 5 - The McPherson Tape, 1998.
Also known as Alien Abduction: Incident in Lake County - The McPherson Tape is an incredible
display of science fiction horror done well, in a time when the found footage subgenre
was just finding its feet.
I'll be honest with you guys, when I first saw The McPherson Tape as a kid, when it was
broadcast as a straight-to-TV film - I thought it was actually real.
And I wasn't alone, either - because when it originally aired on UPN, on January 18th
1998 - hundreds of people called in to verify that it wasn't actually portraying real-life
events.
So much so that the Lake County Sheriff's department had to release a statement reassuring
viewers that the events didn't take place.
The McPherson Tape centers around a family of the same name - who have gathered together
for Thanksgiving at their lake house - where things quickly, and mysteriously go wrong.
As usual, I don't want to spoil any plot points for this film - because it's definitely
worth the watch - but if you're terrified of the thought of little green men roaming
around your house at night, then you'll definitely be a fan of this film.
Coming in at Number 4 - The Houses October Built, 2014
And yeah - this film is great fun, and so damn creepy for the most part.
Directed by Bobby Roe, alongside hit producer Steven Schneider, the man behind the original
Paranormal Activity, Insidious and The Devil Inside - The Houses October Built is a fantastic
spin on the found footage genre, and features some genuinely terrifying set pieces throughout.
It gives you that weird sense of dread that the sub-genre tries so wholeheartedly to capture
- but this film does it to perfection in parts.
The Houses October Built focuses on a group of friends - all horror fans, may I add - travelling
throughout Southern USA in the lead up to Halloween.
They've got an obsession with live-action haunted house attractions, and the film plays
out as a kind of mini-road trip, ramping up the fake scares as it plays out.
But - well, the fake scares quickly turn into real scares - and the second half of the movie
really manages to turn up the heat.
The strength of this film is how personal it feels - there's no wider scope other
than the events that unfold before us - and it's backed up by a genuinely believable
cast and likeable characters - which makes the ending that much more bleak.
Give it a watch.
Next up at Number 3 - Noroi: The Curse, 2005
Now this is for sure an interesting film - to say the least, and it's a welcome sore-thumb
in the world of Japanese world of horror.
It comes from renowned director Koji Shiraishi - who's made quite the name for himself
as a found footage autor - with films like Occult and Shirome, a departure from the short,
unsettling style often found in J-Horror.
Noroi is perhaps the best example of his work - and stands out as a slow burning mockumentary
of paranormal investigation in Japan.
Noroi features an absolutely mammoth task, interweaving several storylines that lead
up to a deeply disturbing ending.
For the most part though, it focuses on Masafumi Kobayashi - a paranormal expert famous for
uncovering supernatural mysteries - and his investigation of a strange woman and her young
son.
It manages to give us just enough to keep the mystery going - and I don't say this
lightly, pretty much every scene is unsettling as we quickly realise there are much more
malevolent powers at play.
Swinging in at Number 2 - The Blair Witch Project, 1999.
And you just knew this one would make this list, didn't you?
Of course - perhaps the most famous found footage horror film of all time, and many
peoples first horrific dive into the subgenre.
The Blair Witch Project is an awesome horror film - I'm gonna say it, and the impact
that it had on the genre as a whole can't be denied.
The reason that The Blair Witch Project is so damn good, is because it managed to pull
off exactly what terrifies us - a stark reminder that what really scares us is the stuff that
we can't see - especially in a time when horror cinema was trying its hardest to deliver
full-frontal-fear.
Again, like the McPherson tape - the Blair Witch Project relied heavily on viral marketing.
Even a year after its release, the three actors Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael
C. Williams were listed on their IMDB pages as "missing" or "deceased."
The films creators, Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez - made huge strides in creating a
working mythology for the film, drawing on 18th century folk legends to fabricate their
own occultist backdrop - hinting to the viewer that perhaps there was some truth to the events
of the film.
In essence, it's what makes found footage horror so good when it's done well - an
uneasy mix between horror fiction and horror fact.
And finally - at our Number 1 spot - The Borderlands, 2013.
Also known as Final Prayer in the US - but come on, the original title is so much better
- The Borderlands is a 2013 British horror film written and directed by Elliot Goldner
in his directorial debut.
I'm going to say it - this film is awesome.
For many reasons - but the main reason is that it answers a question that somewhat mires
the believability of found footage horror - why, are they still filming?
Well - The Borderlands has a pretty decent answer for that.
Three men, who are sent by the Vatican to provide evidence of demonic occurrences in
a remote church in rural Britain.
I really, really don't want to spoil anything in this film - because I sincerely urge you
to watch it if you haven't - but in my opinion, this is one of the best found-footage horror
films of recent times.
It's equal parts The Wicker Man and equal parts The Exorcist - and it's an awesome
display of British folk horror, an emerging subgenre that is really hitting the mark for
this particular horror fan.
Really guys, I can't say much more - other than just watch this one - because it's
really, really good.
Unfortunately folks, that's all we've got time for in today's video - although,
we have got a quick minute to read out some of your incredibly kind comments.
Cansas and Mike Cooley said - Jack, you are my favorite host in all of youtubedom.
Love the series, I think Norman Bates should be next.
Damn straight Cansas and Mike Cooley - I'll see what I can do.
And, you're gonna make me tear up if you keep being that nice to me.
Chas Riley says - That Black Flag shirt tho - and then one of those (okay emoji's).
Well, Chas, I guess all I can say to that is - (okay) - Henry Rollin's all day.
And finally - Kerry Ann said - Jack's a top presenter.
Can tell he has an interest in the content he's delivering.
Awesome channel.
- Well Kerry Ann, it's people like you that make it so awesome - glad you're a fan.
Thanks so much for stopping by guys - make sure to tune in tomorrow for your daily dose
of horror.
As always, I've been your host Jack Finch - you've been watching Top 5 Scary Videos

Here it is.
