Cheenu's Gift

By Sridala Swami

School was about to get over.

Just five minutes more,

but Cheenu could not wait!

but Cheenu could not wait!

He looked outside.

There was nobody there.

From somewhere close by,

a bell jingled.

"Cheenu, what are you doing?"

asked his teacher.

"Sorry Miss," Cheenu said.

"It's just that…"

"Paperwala, kaidalu!

Papere kaidalu!"

sang Cheenu's father, the Kabadiwala.

sang Cheenu's father, the Kabadiwala.

Even from outside, he could see Cheenu's grin.

Even from outside, he could see Cheenu's grin.

The school bell rang.

Cheenu ran out to his father,

grinning from ear to ear.

He was the only child in school

whose father came to pick him up.

Cheenu jumped on to the bandi

and dangled his legs.

His father pushed the bandi,

shouting,

"Paperwala… kaidalu!"

Cheenu also shouted.

They were quite loud!

They were quite loud!

When a watchman stopped them,

Cheenu jumped off.

He went with his father, carrying an empty sack.

He went with his father, carrying an empty sack.

All the things they would get today

would go into that sack.

From this house, newspapers.

From that one, newspapers and magazines.

From the ground floor,

newspapers and magazines

and empty bottles.

Cheenu ran to the bandi

to get another empty sack.

They were going up in a lift!

Cheenu's eyes grew big

and round!

From the fifth floor,

newspapers and magazines,

bottles and boxes and books.

While his father

was talking to the lady,

Cheenu put everything away

so that the books were right on top.

Where he could look at them!

This time, Cheenu had to help his father push the bandi!

This time, Cheenu had to help his father push the bandi!

At home, after they had put everything away,

Cheenu's father called him.

"I have something for you,"

he said.

It was the book Cheenu

had been looking at all afternoon!

"Thank you, Naana!" Cheenu said.

After that,

they had to call him three times to come and have dinner!

they had to call him three times to come and have dinner!

15 Days of Christmas 2018 day 3: Gift guide for her - Idee regalo per lei + GIVEAWAY!! - Duration: 18:01.

Hi ya'll and welcome or welcome back to my channel

and welcome to the 3rd instlament of my

15 days of Christmas series

here we are, welcome back

in today's video, as I do every year,

I thought I'd share with you

some gift ideas perfect for the women in your life

your girlfriends, your sisters,

the moms, the aunties, the grandmas, basically every female

Christmas gifts may be tricky and stressful

because it's hard to come up with new ideas every year

and once again I thought to help you out

by selecting a few products

that in my opinion are perfect for women

some of this suggestions are tested gifts

that I already gave to some of my friends who loved them

in the past years I used to divide the gifts by price range

this year I'm not doing that

but there will be ideas for every budget nontheless

and some of my suggestions can be customized depending on your budget

let's start with a classic gift for women

the handbag

I don't know about you but I don't know any woman who hasn't got an handbag

some like big bags, some prefer the smaller ones

but all of us women tend to carry one all the time

For this Christmas

I thought I'd recommend you

a different kind of bag

of course if you have a big budget to spend

you cna go for a designer's bag

and the price is going to be very high, if you have a smaller budget

you can find some cheaper ones on the market

my suggestion is something inbetween

and it's quite peculiar too

I'll grab it

I'm talking about these bags created by

La Tilde by recycling old phones

the ones with the ring, if you're around my age

you might remember them, if you're younger you may have never seen them

I think it's a brilliant idea

everytime I carry this bag

I get some compliments

and people ask me where I got it

I got it from la Tilde

I suggest you to check their web site, you'll find the link

in the infobox below or by clicking on the I that will appear above my head

as on my blog I linked all the products I'm going to mention in this video

you'll see on their web site that they have many different sizes,

colors and shapes available

it's real leather

and this cute and original detail

that makes it unique and in my opinion suitable for women of all ages

because as I said on their web site

you'll find

many different ones

they do not sell online but

on the web site you'll find the list of

the shops available in the country or you can write them directly

and see how you can get them

I tell you straight away that the prices are not super low

but it's real leather and every piece is unique

which will definitely stand out

the prices are around 100/200 euros

but I think it's a lovely gift idea

If the woman you are planning to offer you Christmas gift

is into fitness

a good idea is to create a

fitness kit

here I have a few items

to give you an idea

for example on Asos you'll find this set

made of a sport bra which

I adore and the price is affordable too

less than 30 euro

and it's perfect especially for busty girls because

it offers a great support

and you can add to the set a pair of matching leggings

they are from the Asos brand, which means the price is affordable

if you want you can add

other products such as a transpiring technic shirt so that

you'll sweat less or I should better say you sweat the same, but you won't feel uncomfortable

you can also add

a water bottle

this is just an example as I got it at a Frida Kahlo exhibition and it's not on sale online

but on Asos you'll find many cute ones

you can basically customize this set

adding

or subtracting items depending on your budget

if for example the woman you'll gift it to is a yoga lover

you can add

a yoga matt if she hasn't got a good one yet

you can add some weights

and customize the present on the receiver or depending on your budget

Since I started to work out

I love to shop fpr fitness clothes

because they make the work out less uncomfortable

I don't know if you can relate to that

let's put aside

this second gift idea

and let's move on with

a slightly different idea

an advent calendar

I show you one good option

which once again is from Asos

by the way I tell you all the time but Asos has some

good presents options

divided in gifts for her and for him

check it out because

you might find some cool ideas

Gifting an advent calendar for Christmas is a bit controversial

because

advent calendars are meant to be gifted before December starts

in order to open it throughout the month

from december 1rst to the 24th

but I think it's a very very cool idea as a Christmas gift too

2 times very, juts to give you an idea of how much I like it

so that you'll have something to open after Christmas too

because from December 25th on

we all feel the Christmas sadness as everything is over and having an advent calendar

with a gift to open

every day until the end of december and part of january in my opinion

is very cool and this is a beauty calendar

with inside products from different brands

there's a little bit of everything, from the lip balm

to the face masks

make up, basically a good selection of beauty stuff and the price

is not bad at all

as usual I can't remember the price

and I forgot to look the prices up before filming this video

also because the majority of these gift ideas

are customizable

but this definitely has a price

I invite you to check the Asos web site

to find out more and also get more details about what's inside

anyway in my opinion an advent calendar

is a super cool idea

let's move on

I have another suggestion for you which is quite uncommon and heart felt

a custom made illustration or portrait

here I have one that Daniele gifted me

for my birthday years ago and I think it's amazing

this was made by an artisti called Mirko Andreoli

he is amazing

because as you can see it's a pencil portrait full of details

but if you don't know where to get a custom made protrait

I suggest you to check on Etsy

which is a lovely web site, I think you all know it

and there are several artists that sell portraits on there

you can choose a digital illustration which is quicker to get

as it can be sent via email for you to print

or you can choose a classic portrait, I'll insert some

examples here

anyway there's something for every budget

I invite you to check on Etsy

and find the right offer for you as I think it's a cute idea

and once again it's not banal

now ...

if you want you can gift some accessories too

not simply a bag, but to create a set

I like the idea of creating a set

because

you can select different things that are not sold together

one idea

on Asos for example

you can compose a set

adding for example

soem hoop earrings

a simple necklace, the ones that are on trend this year

the delicate ones that can be worn stacked

and you could also add

a belt

I'm liking these ones that kind of copy the Gucci belts

I like it a lot

and it's going to be a cute set

if you don't want to gift a belt and the other accessories

you can choose hat and gloves, you can choose

a foulard and a bangle

you can do whatever you want

depending on the person you'll gift the set to

the same idea can be transferred to the beauty gifts

and it's a tested gift

this year I basically gifted beauty sets to all of my girlfriends for their birthdays

and once again you can

choose the products

depending from your budget, for example

I used a box

the ones that you can buy in crafts stores for a low price

and you can embellish it or wrap it

and inside, just as you would do with a food basket

you place a selection of beauty products

I suggest you to

use the travel sizes

so that you'll spend less

and you'll allow the receiver to try more stuff

all in one gift

for example here I have a Huda beauty palette

a lip scrub, some make up wipes

a black heads mask

a face mask, a beauty blender

a mini mascara

a lipstick

and ... what did I insert? A miniature

highlighter

a make up/skincare kit

a capsule with inside the products

that you wish to include, this is alread a quite expensive set

because as you know beauty products are quite expensive

you can choose cheaper brands

and if you have any perfume sample you can add them too

as they'll make the gift even more special

and I think it's a good idea and you can customize it

more on the make up side or more on the skincare side

you can choose hair products, or whatever you want

another idea which I think is cute too

is to use a smaller box

and of course I can't open it

with inside

a nails kit, for example I added

a Body shop hand cream

some Christmas themed golden nailpolishes

for a themed mani

a base coat, you can add

a top coat, a nail file

you can add the cuticles stick

and create your own nails set, which is another cute idea

for the women who love to paint their nails

ok, another great Christmas classic is the gift card

I always recommend it

both for the people who have everything

or for the people you don't know so well

there are gift cards for everything

but this year I'd like to recommend

some that are less boring

such as Netflix gift card

Netflix, I can't pronounce it, offers the opportunity

to gift to someone else one month or more of view

you can buy the gift cards online

I'll try to link all the infos on my blog

and I think it's a good idea, I love Netflix

and you can offer it to someone who is not subscribed yet

or you could choose a Spotify gift card

which will allow the receiver to use the app at its full potential for a period of time

I think these are cool gift ideas, slightly different from the classic gift card

and if

you wish to present the gift card in a creative way

don't miss the other videos from the series

because I'll give you a cute idea

and as we are talking about gift cards

let's talk about the gove way connected to this video

I do it every year and here it is once again

I'm going to give you a 50 € worth gift card

on Amazon, which seemed to me as the best option

because you'll get it in no time

and you'll be able to use it for your Christmas gifts as on Amazon

you can find almost everything

Entering the give away is quite simple

first of all you need to be subscribed to my channel

first of all

then you need to be subscribed to my blog

follow me on Instagram and Facebook

I know that's a lot

but I'm confident that you already do all of these things

and as last thing you need to leave a comment or more on this video

and the give away will be open for one week, seven days

which means

that next Monday

I'll announce the winner, who will be picked randomly

I'll announce it

and the winner will have to get in touch with me

in order to receive the 50 € gift card

I hope you'll like this idea

a little Christmas gift from me

and this concludes

this gift guide for her video

I hope that my suggestions were usefull

if so don't forget to give this video a thumbs up so that I will know it

I remind you that on my blog you will find

the list of all the gifts ideas I mentioned with links to find them online

and you'll find the link to my blogpost

by clicking on the I that will appear over my head

or in the downbar here below the video

That's it for today, I send you a thousend kisses

of course I didn't mention it

but you'll kniw it by now, if you haven't yet subscribe to my channel

in order not to miss any new video

I'll see you oin the next instalment of the series

ciao!

TESLA MODEL 3 vs. TESLA MODEL S: The Biggest Differences - Duration: 9:30.

hey y'all I'm back in Atlanta and I have my Model S and I know I've been doing a

lot of model 3 videos lately but that's because I've been in California and I've

been out there driving a Model 3 but now I'm back and I want to do a comparison

between the Model S and the model 3 so in other words another Model 3 video!

well hey y'all it's Asha Renne and welcome back to my sustainable travel

vegan lifestyle and smart tech youtube channel where i show you guys how to

live an adventurously green life. now for those of you who are familiar with

my videos I tend to do videos about my Model S but the last couple times when I

flew out to California I actually rented a model 3 through my friend

Ezekiel. now the first time I rented the model 3 I took a road trip from LA all

the way up to San Francisco and Oakland and if you didn't see that video make

sure you go check it out. then the second time I rented it I actually helped my

friend go and get his car paint protected so I've driven the model 3 a

couple times and now I want to do a comparison between my Model S and the

model 3 based on my experience driving the Model 3 and speaking of the model 3

did you guys know that you can use my referral code to get a model 3 a Model S

or a Model X in the past you couldn't use a referral code to get a model 3 but

that is all has changed so make sure you use it and that way you can get 6 months

of super charging and shout out to Joshua who used our code. he got his

delivered on October 24th and also shout out to Curtis and Robert who actually

just used our code last week to get their Teslas. so super excited for you

guys you guys are gonna love your car. so by the end of this video you guys are

actually gonna find out whether or not I'm happy that I got the Model S or if I

have buyer's remorse and feel like I should have waited out for the Model 3

so with that being said let's go ahead and dive into the differences starting

with how you actually get into each car. so the first thing is well the key

So with the Model S you have an actual key

that you used to get into your car now the cool thing about the key is you

don't actually have to stick it in anywhere and turn the ignition no not with the

Model S you literally just have to have it in the car and then you can go now

with the Model 3 you don't have a key you actually use your phone to get into

the car or if you don't have your phone or it died, you just don't have it on you you

can actually get like this little little card that can actually fit into your

wallet it's super super slim and you can use that to get into your car and then

you use that key to actually take off and drive you put it on the center

console and that actually signals your car to start going. all right the second

difference in terms of getting into your car are the handles now we all know the

Tesla Model S has the auto presenting door handles which I love even more so

after driving the Model 3 because to be quite honest I just prefer the Model S

better it's not that the model 3 handles were bad I just like the auto

presenting door handles a little bit more with the Model 3 you actually have

to push in and then pull out which I totally mess up the first time that I

attempted to do this because I didn't know what I was doing but the second

time around I got it right. now before we actually get in the car let's finish

talking about the outside of the car so most notably the difference is in the

front of the car right the two look very very different but I actually really

really like the style of the Model S a little bit better than the model 3

but I still think the model 3 is super dope now the Model S is also

slightly bigger than the model three which means it can make a big difference

to people who say live in crowded cities and hopping into tight spaces even

though it's only slightly bigger it can actually make a big difference to people

who have to get in and out of small spaces so for that reason I actually

really like the model 3 because it's a little bit smaller and it's better for

people who live in areas like that especially the city. 2 other

things I also really really like about the model s - 1 the hatchback

I love the hatchback because it means more cargo space and also I like that

you can actually just press a button and it opens. now if you're gonna get the model

3 you actually manually have to open the trunk but I've got a little bit spoiled

with the Model S and I will I will admit it was a little annoying having to

actually close the trunk on the model 3 but please don't think I'm a

spoiled brat it's just it's just little what I'm used to and I really really

like this feature. now because there's so much space back here and it's a

hatchback it's very easy to sleep in the trunk now if you guys saw my California

roadtrip video you guys probably saw that we slept in our trunk we camped out

in Joshua Tree National Park if you missed that video make sure you can

watch it it was one of my favorite videos we've ever done and you know

Ezekiel told me that there is a way to sleep in the model 3 but he hasn't tried

it out but I know for a fact you can definitely do it in the model s and sleep

very comfortably also we put our dog back here whenever we travel whenever we

have to take him anywhere he easily like is able to just lay out in the back and

you know he's very very comfortable and if you want to learn a little bit more

about the trunk space of the Model S I did a very comprehensive trunk space

video that you can go ahead and watch if you want to see all the things that you

could actually fit back here as well as in the front now speaking of the front

both cars actually have a front trunk but I would say the Model S front space

is larger than the model 3. now when I did the model 3 road trip we had enough

space in the trunk and the front for 3 women and our luggage but I will say the

model s frunk is roomier and therefore that's giant plus for me.

and next up we have the wheels. so with the Model S you can get 19 inch or 21 inch

performance wheels and with the model 3 you can get 18 inch or 19 inch wheels

All right so we finally made it inside the car so the major difference that

really stood out to me when I was doing my model 3 road trip was not having that

screen in front of me so with the Model S you're gonna get those two screens

you're gonna get that big giant screen in the middle as well as the screen

right behind the steering wheel and I have gotten so accustomed to that that

when I did my model 3 road trip it was a little weird like having to always look

over to my right because I like being able to also just like look in front of

me and not just always to the right of me it's just a personal preference but

honestly I've talked to several model 3 owners and a lot of people say that they

actually 100% love the simplistic design and to be quite honest I do too I love

that about the model 3 I love that inside of the model 3 it is just so

simplistic it's a very beautiful design it just happens to be a personal

preference to have the dual screen versus just one screen one interesting

difference between both cars is how to charge your phones in the front of the

car so here in the Model S you have places where you can plug in your cords

and charge your phone that way whereas in the model 3 you actually have ports

where you can prop up your cellphone and charge your phone without having to plug

in any cords also both the Model S and the model 3 have places back here for

you to charge your phones so no real difference there. So getting out of each

car is also very different from the inside. so here with the Model S you have

this handle that you pull whereas with the model 3 you press a little button to

get out the door. now just a couple other differences to note with the Model S you

can get that smart air suspension whereas with the model 3 you get coil

suspension with the Model S you also have that hep a filtration system

going for it whereas with the model 3 you don't get that. now you also can go 0

to 60 in 2.5 to 4.2 seconds with the model s

whereas with the model 3 you can go 0 to 60 in 3.5 to 5.6 seconds

so in conclusion do I regret getting the model s do I prefer the Model S or do

I prefer the model 3? I'm actually really curious what you guys think. are you team

Model S or model 3? now as for me I actually am really happy with my

purchase. I'm glad I got the model s, Iove the model 3 but there were just some

things that I really missed about my model s when I was driving the model 3

now that being said no matter what tesla the model you get you can't go wrong. if

you're driving a Tesla you're kind of winning. alright so if you liked this

video make sure you give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more

Tesla videos, more travel videos, more vegan videos, more smart tech videos. I also

owe you a tour of my smart home which I finally moved into so all that coming

down the pipeline and more. alright that's all I got as always thank you

guys so much for watching and I hope to see you guys at a supercharger somewhere.

NEW Audi E Tron GT Full Electric Review l This car wil kill Tesla Model S ? - Duration: 18:26.

oh yeah this is the original re in 2007 Disney Hall arrival of Tony Stark at

this event that he then leaves and goes on his first mission

so downtown the architecture of Disney Hall and the emergence of this rebirth

of cool with the Audi brand and I just remember thinking man

the synergy of Marvel and Audi and the way that it panned out it's just

incredible and then the success of the film and it's like these two brands

built off each other and it's been a love affair ever since

and now the e-tron GT which promises to be the most exciting electric vehicle in

history that I'm gonna talk to the guy to Tonica brain oh there you are hey

Mark what's up buddy come on yeah great to see you

what are you doing let's catch you know everything everything sketch right it's

beginning incredible I start sketching when I was a young boy I had a

grandfather who ditched me in perspective and techniques that's why I

starts feeling I was really used to sketch this wheels and everything old

all right you want to see it oh yes the one you have driven in IRA man that's

correct I'll tell you every kid thinks he's a

car designer then my time back in the 70s we were drawing dragsters looking at

rodent rack or Omni magazine showing us where the cars of the future were gonna

be how do you even draw the first line different for an e-tron GT compared to

the one that I've come to know and love first of all we have a designer who

always want big wheels we want to low cabin white a wheelbase wide track and

then you know and then it starts it's the beginning of a process

how do you know we're on it and when do you know where we got to get back on

track you know my philosophy is and this is when I looked on furnitures or

industrial products if if the combination between function and

aesthetic it's perfect in harmony then it's a good product because then it will

be timeless and I always have the mission I want to combine both

functionality with a really really good aesthetic if this is in harmony then I

would say I have a challenge for you I would like you for you to join me in the

e sauna and we're just gonna sit there silently and see who can take it for

longer it's very well lit well yeah I can just feel the infrared energy of

creativity in here

all right I can't take any more will you show me the real thing sure come on such

a pleasure dick we continue is a four-door super sports car better

electric vehicle and I'm honest I did in my career a few cars already some of

them I'm really proud about but I never got the chance to do a car like this and

there is a reason and magic behind why is this car that special if we turn it

to the side view and I like to explain you the reason why this guy is special

for us designers the basis for a good design is a package because the package

creates the architecture of the car and the proportions and these engineers who

did this package they did an awesome job I would say it's it's the best package

for a kind of like this you have to imagine this is a battery electric

vehicle there is a battery black peg located in the flow of the car and there

is the real 4 seater and the seating position even in the rear is enough

space had clearance for a tall guy like me so four seater battery electric

vehicle and the height of the car is 2 inch lower than our s7 don't give him

long the s7 is a beautiful sporty car but this cars 2 inch lower and this is

something which is unbelievable these engineers did really a really a great

job second this car represents our new

design language or not a new one is wrong the new one is a 8 a 7 s6 and this

is the next evolution this car would go to the market in two years time that's

why we're seeing each three year we will have a design step and what's visible

already on our new products or where they are that's one of our genes in our

DNA is Quattro and with the new products like a HQ 8sm we represent our visualize

Quattro in our exterior design on the Audi e-tron GT Quattro is not a blister

anymore Quattro is getting as really three-dimensional very round I

would say really sexy and this is something which we were seen each or all

of our future models if you turn the car to the front end I like to explain to

you why this face is something unique for battery electric vehicles since 2004

when I already got the clever idea to connect the upper air in check with a

lower one and since this time this single frame was born it's this shape

and you know on our IC e models the single frame is a radiator so it's

cooling the engine with underneath on this kind of battery electric car the

heart of the car is not the engine anymore it's a battery pack which is

located over there and that's why we came up with the idea we what don't want

to destroy the Audi face and that's why we invert a single frame by color the

single frame is not a radiator it's the sensoric where all the sensors

underneath and this but this single frame is in body colors in the dark

environment so it's an in a second visible at this is an Audi but a battery

electric one if we turn the car to the rear end the headlights in the front

it's the next evolution this vertical elements within six which is visualizing

our laser light technology and in the end we have a graphic which is matching

perfectly to the front and as you know already from the new i8 a7 and q8 we

introduced our LED light pens in the next evolution this light band is

becoming a sculpture a three-dimensional sculpture and from the rear

there's my favorite perspective because this narrow low cabin the wide body the

round plane shape this is something for me it's a perfect proportion and you

will see that there's a huge diffuser because on this car this is the body of

the car shaped in the wind tunnel because for a battery electric vehicle

the range is one of the most important topics sure and the good a dynamic is

extend the range that's why we create something some really unique details

like the diffuser and this visualize it's an aerodynamic and very very spot

Rikka overall the layout the size and dimension of Eros body like the interior

who came up with the idea to create a very sporty architecture and if you

experienced the car later recognize that the connection between the doors and the

dashboard is a complete new kind of driver annotation and we had already

design we take a sustainability serious that's why we came up with the idea for

a car like this we create a 100% vegan interior that means all the surfaces are

synthetic leathers the fabric on the seat is made from a recycled fiber and

even though the floor carpet has been in the first life a fishing net so

altogether a new kind of sophisticated interior and detail which I like to

mention out this is this huge application now in the past an

application has been pieces which we had on a dashboard in carbon fiber or wood

or aluminum with the 8 and the q8 and the s6 we introduced a new kind of

3-dimensional application that's the next level most of the dashpot I would

say said 70% are the applications so we can create with a different material a

very unique character and I have to say that altogether the Audi each one GT

Concept combines perfectly the aesthetic of a super sports car and the

performance with everyday usability and that's why this car will be coming two

years time the new member of our out a spot family it's matching perfectly to

our eight hour air s models and you know an Audi spot there's everything about

design and performance thank you very much

the power of a sports car shouldn't be measured in miles per hour it should be

measured in beats per minute how much thrills excites leaves you

breathless the power to seize emotions and stir the soul it's part of our DNA

always will be and whether gasoline or electric these machines will forever be

engineered to get your heart racing Wow mark to you and your team thank you for

giving us such a brilliant design that truly embodies the future of performance

for our brand and it's electric the e-tron GT concept accelerates from zero

to 62 in 3.5 seconds and generates 590 horsepower with an approximate range of

250 miles or roughly 400 kilometers the GT delivers electric performance for

everyday use and this is further highlighted through its ultra-fast

charging capability to reach 80 percent charge in 20 minutes

ladies and gentlemen the Audi e-tron GT is a testament to our brands commitment

to premium electrification by 2025 that commitment will account for as much as

30 percent of our volume beginning with the arrival of the e-tron in the second

quarter of 2019 for which we are taking reservations currently continuing with

the debut of the e-tron sport back later next year and putting the e-tron GT into

production in 2020 as the future of electric performance and we couldn't be

more proud to present this masterpiece of design and innovation here in Los

Angeles where it stands out perfectly it is undoubtedly the next supercar for

super here thank you for joining us and thank you

to our incredible team for putting this all together

I know it was a lot of trouble for you.

Thanks.

Good night.

Good night.

"This breeze came and whispered in my ear"

"That you are mine; only mine, forever"

"Will you embrace my life, while my breath fades away?"

"You are the music which my silences have been searching for"

Amy, before going back today,

I wanted to say something to you.

Nothing else;

If it is okay for you,

I would like to marry you, Amy.

I know about your situation and your problems.

If your answer is positive,

I know how to deal with your Daddy.

Amy!

Come fast! They are about to take the body.

"For my eyes, you are the world"

"For my ears, you are the symphony"

"Will you embrace my life, while my breath fades away?" (Liquor consumption/smoking is injurious to health)

"You are the music which my silences have been searching for"

"Did your rosy lips quiver, o lil' birdie?"

"Did your heartbeats rise? Tell me softly"

"Who's that on the Red Lucky Seed tree, my dear birdie?"

"Who got closer to you whispering sweet nothings?"

"Did your rosy lips quiver, o' lil' birdie?"

"Did your heartbeats rise? Tell me softly"

"Who's that on the Red Lucky Seed tree, my dear birdie?"

"Who got closer to you whispering sweet nothings?"

"As I slowly caress the shyness that made you shut the doors to your eyes"

"From now on, you will be with me forever"

"To give me light, o dear moonlight"

"Turning every little sorrow into a smile"

"You are my better half"

"Turning every night into a day"

"You are the sunshine of truth"

"You are his soul mate"

"Like a colourful palm print"

"I will guard you without batting an eyelid, my dear"

"In the depths of these blue eyes"

"I am melting in them, unknowingly"

You fool!

I sent you a ticket to come for my wedding;

and you got drunk at the airport lounger & slept off there?

Sorry, bro!

I've been waiting here like this to compensate for that.

Both of you put your luggage into this car.

Let's go!

First Monday Update - December 2018 - Duration: 2:49.

well we made it to December 2018 for the last first Monday video of the year

Lucas Turpin is our director of information technologies and in that

role he's responsible for helping our all of our electrons behave but it's not

just electrons that need to behave it's us as well

Lucas can you give us some pointers of how people should protect their work and

from a technology standpoint sure Scott thanks for having me

so osu has an office of information security but security is like driving on

the highway it's everyone's responsibility to be safe so here are

five things that everyone can do should do for themselves personally and at work

to help protect themselves in their data great read your emails before you click

on anything please make sure it looks legit question before you click on a

link hover over it see if is it going where it's actually

says it's going you never know if you're not sure it's okay to ask right IT is not

everyone's job call the Service Desk that's their job they're happy to talk

to you never ever keep personally identifiable information we have a lot

of people that work with volunteers they may make copies of social security

number or social security cards or driver's license don't keep those and

get rid of it as fast as you can and enroll in duo duo's are our 2-step

logins solution that helps protect your account in case it gets swiped by bad

guys hmm and all these things also have a big impact on bandwidth so many

of our county offices have small internet connections and so any kind of

a security breach can have a huge impact on their ability to just to work right

so we're always working hard on this we're always trying to find better

faster solutions and we have some interesting stuff in the

pipeline so stay tuned Lucas thank you I can tell there are a lot of implications

from things we kind of take for granted almost every day and for those kind of

watching this even though I'm retiring next year I'm gonna sign up for duo

and I hope you do as well and because this is a holiday month we'd really be

interested in seeing your a blog entry about the favorite piece of technology

you'd like to receive Lucas thanks so much for being here thank you Scott

My 2019 Notion Layout: Tour - Duration: 27:28.

Hello everyone and welcome back to another video today's video we're going to be diving into my Notion

2019 layout I wanted to share with you guys all of the aspects of my account

giving you an idea of how I use it on a daily basis and

Also diving into some of the pages I've use and how they are set up currently

So this video will hopefully give you a bit of a peek into a working notion account that you could potentially

Apply to your account. So stick around for today's video if you're looking to get a deep dive into notion

So guys it's great to be back and I hope you are all doing well

So in today's video as I mentioned, I will be diving into my notion account

First thing I want to start with is probably the home page because the home page is I guess the dashboard that you land on

When you've got an ocean account and as you can see here

it's changed a little bit since

The last setup that I made if you're looking to look at the last set up so I made all clued a playlist below

I do one every three months to give you an outline of how it's changed in 90 days or so

and last one was in August and what I had previously

was like a pinned notes area up here and then just sort of a couple of

Sort of like pages down here wasn't really that committed to some extent whereas this has

drastically changed in terms of the amount that's on here and

Also the layout so what I want to start with is this cover photo, I chose a really simple mountain

I quite like the fact that I have like a mountain here

there's something about like

When you've got a dashboard either having a home or like some sort of hub

Picture and I feel for me like a mountain could be that so I'm sort of theming it around a mountain weirdly

So we've kept it pretty much the same

I've moved the quote mark just below so I previously had a quote block just below it saying Francesco's workspace

Whereas now I have something which was recently added to notion called a gallery now

This is a block that appears here

And what I've done with it is I've gone over to the property section and I've gone can preview and plat pressed page

Content and the reason I've done that is so that it appear like this so that anything in the page content

Bleeds through onto a preview screen here now

There is pretty simple. I've got two areas currently in this section

And as that's Inbox now, you guys know how I use inbox

although it's slightly changed in a way because once you click into this gallery you get this almost like preview window and

Basically, I start adding anything down to here. So for example, I'll add articles actually just cleared this one this morning

so it's actually

fresh and clean

But normally it's full of articles or little pages that I'm not yet fully committed to adding down here

And I'll clear that every Thursday or Friday

Today was Friday. So I did at Friday morning

and this one over here is called daily log and you notice that the name of these is

Always gonna be at the bottom and this one's full so I've got daily log here

So I click in and again new sort of preview window comes up and you can see here. I've got a

Quote mark with a colored background and I've got four different areas

Now I'm using I would say two of these actively but the other two I'm currently experimenting with I'm not fully committed to

The first is the health dashboard which will dive into an in a bit

And I've talked about it a little bit in the past the journal sign of staff

Which I'm not really fully committed to yet and the workout routine

I've also got a personal budget again, which I'm still experimenting with now down here

I've got a few notes of do I need a freelance dashboard area of

How well I've done during the day do I really need it like an outline of you know?

What the three things you've done during the day?

I try testing that with a morning lock, but I wasn't sure so that's currently that area

And and I find I have fallen in love with this new gallery feature because I really find this

Panel view to be one of the nicest ways to get into my notion account. It feels really fluid

I don't know what it is about. It. Don't ask me because it's just so simple

It's almost like having a separated area. So down here. It's pretty much the same

I have a section for personal for my freelance work working with clients

YouTube so planning as much youtube stuff as I can in terms of this channel and other courses and other

Content I do that surrounds youtube learning is down here

Which i'm yet to fully dig deep into which will come on to a little bit later

Some checklists and also a health area as well. Now as you can imagine this is

Always being added to but I try i'm trying my best

As this sort of evolves to make sure to breadcrumb well and what I mean by that is for example

Driving, I recently added this one out of car, which I have inside of house

Will probably comes out in a bit

so I've added it down here as an area but I don't want it to get too long because else I'm gonna be

Scrolling and I don't want to really scroll past that I just want like a clean

maybe five or six or seven at the maximum on

Each list because I think that I think you have to sort of crunch stuff down

So what what we'll start doing is diving into some of the pages. I think it's best to start with personal

so what I've done is that actually

Recreating the goals page entirely I did this because I start the goals page maybe

Three months ago and what I wanted to do is have a more fine-tuned one

I noticed that my goals page was sort of all over the place. I had lots of different

I had a goals area at the targets area

and what I want is is simplify it and I believe I have so what I've done here is

I've got the next three months really so I've got a table. Sorry a

Board in line that has what's next and it has my next two months in this case

it's got five goals find specific goals that I'm working on and

in for the next month as well, and they're also tagged with the

Correlation to what it is about. So for example, 10,000 monthly unique visits would be for the website

Freelancing to secure to new content clients is in yellow. So it's a nice indication

It's very colorful easy to follow and I can go in and actually check them off as well

So once I click into these for example, this one I can actually click on whether they have been successful or not

Which is a nice new indicator that I've had so I can almost tick things off as I go

So up in the top right hand corner

I used to have this like what is coming up like and it was a massive list of the yearly

Events and activities that was going to now it's really just honed down

into

Like vacation time Christmas all the major events I'd say

And I've got one more bullet. So I'd say I wouldn't push that past five because then it will ruin this down here

This is a simple list and it's basically got I don't know whether you can see this, but I don't want Blair on up

is all of my goals for the next year and it will give me

a tag and a date that I want to complete actually the date I created on and I've simply gone to the property section and

Put tags on and created I should probably remove create and you can see here that I've assigned them to myself

So this is a list of all the targets that I'd like to reach in 2019. So fingers crossed

You know

that's something that

I could aim towards but I come onto this page when I'm doing my weekly review and I really like it because I've got

my goals or my immediate goals to my left

I've got what's coming up on my right and I've got what should I be aiming for in 2019?

So hopefully that gives you a little bit of inspiration for your own

Setups and goals so down just below it. I've got house house is dedicated

To giving a tally of our finances and where we're aiming towards for the house

Naturally, I can't show this but we're on the right track, and it's also got inside it a car

So that's a bit about the car financing and also estimates of certain things

I'll click into estimates estimates of what the house mortgage will be compared to our current mortgage, etc

all very boring stuff

I promise you but there's a nice area

That I can start working on when I'm thinking about the house and I can start tallying all that information

Again, it doesn't include any PDFs or anything. Like that's really just purely

Almost like a notepad for me just to write down

My thoughts and ideas and plan a little bit for the house now just below it

I've been using the travel a little more than often now

I used I remember I mentioned this one in a video I used it for in Barcelona

I had quite lovely sort of sheduled had some my documents here in PDF format and

A bit of an itinerary there worked really. Well. We also did this one for bath? I think I mentioned it

We Amir beckon went away to bar for the weekend

It was lovely

and I managed to get this and have this as almost my tin reef or the weekend to make sure I knew where all the

Information was now next year. We're off to Italy as a family

So I'd certainly use that for that and that's especially I'm finding that especially

valuable I can't show you within it because there's information there, but

Within it. We actually have a payment sheet

So that everyone is actually updated with what they need to pay and where actually I haven't actually assigned it to anyone

But I've just got tags to nudge people for example, so you can see here. This is one for the slack event

I pulled this together. It's just got some train times

So this is just an image imported and screenshot of this London Underground as well as important documents

And I'm tending to do this for every little trip

I do and also an idea of when I'll be going to San Francisco getting a bit of information are at the pricing

So these almost act as bookmarks

Before so I can plan ahead for my trip adding all of the valuable

Pricing and you know, how much should I budget for etc? So it's quite useful

So this is the savings area. I have been using this one quite regularly actually, so I've been using it probably since

August although I did a refresh of this one and it's a month by month outline

So it's a simple table soon see a table view here. It's also got tags of what the theme is for that month

So for example in September

it was a slow month because I was finishing off paying tax and what I mean we're slow month is I

Needed to save as much as I could and and I wasn't you know

I was paying off so much tax that I just needed to make sure to you know

Cover all the regular stuff and I said the end of month sort of outlined there now was I successful?

I take this one off because I was because I met all of goals

so the goals are really simple I go inside and I basically have all of my Ledger's and what I mean by Ledger's is

Just what I've got in each account and it helps me to

Line what I'm going to be aiming for at the end of the month and what I need to almost transfer

So that's a little bit of an outline of that. I don't use a table or anything like that

It's just a really simple one. You can see here the theme sort of changed

So I've got like rebuild so rebuild from paying so much tax strengthen and January will hopefully be conquer

But he'll also hear what I've started to do is I put a quote here at the said save towards the house and future projects

We've keep productive and also coffee shops

So I have not been using this as much because I've been quite frugal, I guess with my coffee shop trips

Which is good

but I previously use this to go inside and tally how much I was spending on each trip and

Almost make myself feel bad and it actually worked so that I would spend a little less in each coffee shop now

I also got as well saved money

that was a few ideas of ways that I could save money almost like a checklist like

You know limit of 10 pound per day for the total like that's include lunch, you know

All the coffee shops know breakfast is you know, they're expensive, you know buying eat lunch at home

no, taxi travel not I did loads of it but and

No personal buys or audio buys

So I was that was just something to come back to if I wanted to and also got Christmas present ideas

I will blur this out. But in case ahead of my family are watching I got started

with adding a few ideas here and links and images but

Christmas presents idea was a good one because I can start tallying all that and naturally I probably archive that

Once I and I don't know how I would archive not necessarily. I don't know what I would just delete it or

Repurpose it for next year. So I've also got our upcoming payments, which is me and backers

Just things turned out what we've got coming up in terms of you know

If we've got to pay for the flight to Italy we got to pay for for like to sign press, you know

things like that that are just gonna be coming up and then I've got a new one that I actually

Added last week and I'm gonna blow her few things out because I did and card numbers only two

They're unnecessary cards

but what I did is I was walking home the other day and I sort of felt my pockets and I was like

Oh my god, I forgot my wallet in that in that store. And then I

Realized that it was actually in my coat pocket

So I was like, oh thank God I'm not but then I was like what if I actually forget my wallet

So I decided to go into notion and create a short checklist of all of the things that are in my wallet

This is basically like a short list of everything in the wallet. The goal is is so that I can

Where if I ever lose my wallet I can just go into here and go, okay

I need to reorder my driving license. I need to

Reissue my Visa Debit. I need to get a new co-op card

Nando's card, you know Club Card Tesco

you know all that sort of stuff and it's actually a nice little smart for me to I guess like

recap on what I actually had in my wallet because like I said

I guess sometimes you don't really have like an idea of everything you have in your wallet

Maybe at least for me cuz I've got really short-term memory of what I need to have in my wallet

So down here

I've also got in the personal section an f-1 podcast, which I'm hopefully to be starting with a friend in February next year

So I've sort of outlined there content calendar things to do

I actually did that one and it's almost like a mini checklist of items. So that's like a really simple one

So if that's something that you were thinking of doing and the next one is driving

The final element of my personal section is driving

So I've got a major list of things to improve on clutch control first gears definitely still something

I need to master taking foot off clutch slowly I've started to do that bit better

But I'm not confident on taking it off yet

But I ticked off already checking before taking off and slowing down and finding a spot actually doing fairly

Well at that one and I've got a link to some

Questions from govern you Kay but down here

This is where the magic is for me is I've been using this since October

Although I used to do on like paper just in my drawer because I have my theory book in my drawer

But it was easy to do it that way, but this has actually been a lot better

So what I do is I tally the Dayna hammered last num I write down the issue

so the issue in this case was changing from second to third here and

What I need to do to improve by and what I do before each session

Or at least a week in advance is I sit down and I go okay

What did I suck out last week and I go okay turning into corners and I'll do some research on it

Or I'll watch some YouTube videos about so that's my sort of approach to driving. I'm still driving

I'm still practicing and learning anyway, so I've got plenty of time to sort of catch up

So let's move out to the freelance area the freelance area. I have an area called business

I don't use it at the moment same with operations and passive. My magic is mainly in client

I'm still working out these couple of ones because they're more planning stage at the moment but clients so clients

I currently use for tracking all of the workload I have on I manage clients as well as

Sponsors here. So that's how it all works now

I'll have a list of my current clients as well as the payments that are coming up

I'll also have what contractors I'm working with what tax I'm paying and also

Just an outline checklist of what I need to do with each client now, it's a board

It's a simple board and I move it between each one. So this is an active project

This is ongoing this is ending and this is finished

So it gives me an outline of the clients that I've worked with over the last couple of months

I've also got some potential clients. I'd like to work with in the in between and

Sponsors as well that I'm working with on the channel. So that's a

Nice board there because I can go in and organize all of that layout now down here

I've also got a payment log of on one particular client

I've got a shortlisted clients who I'd like to work with basically a hot list and also sponsorship of the top 20

I'd like to work with this battle. So the clients area is a really important area of me as I mention

I can't show you as much as I would like to

Naturally, but it's actually a really beneficial area and I want a few videos that have already done if you're super eager to learn about

that

Ones that are probably more or less blurred out than that one

So finally over here. I've got YouTube

so YouTube's a

stunning become sort of 5050 sign of stuff in terms of creating and I call it just YouTube because it's really like

Creating content for you guys. So I've got a projects area

This houses the majority of the content or set up

For example, I have a creating area here which is lists cover

So I want to cover like top, you know - time tracking ones actually was not fully created. I'll show you a fully created one

Ideas for you know, whether I want to do twitch dreams

You know projects that I want to work on and at the moment I'm using it as a temporary scripts area

Handbook webinar deals all the sort of stuff that you would expect with a YouTube channel. I've also got community

so this is for you guys talking about the collapse the codes that I can give away and

some of the Facebook groups out of stuff and also forts like things and I want to do for the long term and also Danny

I've got some nice feedback from you guys. So that's a really nice one

So that's a area that is working and growing and naturally

Developing so I'm really sort of just using that to tally up things

But if I were to go over to the Skillshare area, you'll see some of the skill show classes that I've got coming up

I've got a marketing checklist and an upcoming so you can see I've got some upcoming classes here then I'm planning

Although I'm not fully sure

I'm going to be doing them and these film dates are really whacked out but they are sort of in line for

What I'll be working on that so you click done on that one

So as you can imagine it's a nice place for me to plan for the website

I think I've talked about this before we mention it quite a lot

We use this as our editorial

calendar so you can go and see all of the articles that we're currently working on and also

a little bit about that Google rank two

Now at the bottom of this I started to do a medium

Schedule of some pieces that I want to write I wrote these two

I know that and I'm going to continue to use this as I go to tally all the pieces

Now going back to the home page

we use this for the podcast and for

future vlogs that might be coming out but down here I have a books area a books area is

All of the reading I'm doing a moment

So the messy middle I'm reading in a moment still reading twenty first twenty one rules into 21st century and any ideas that people send

Me on social media. I will tend to put them here

Although I just need to actually add a lot more in now down here

I am yet to add to this area, but I've got three areas here I've got

Kaizen which is something that I said Japanese

technique that of self improvement that I'd like to learn more about so I'm going to use this is almost like a

scrapbook for learning about Kaiser

Survival as well. I'd like to learn about how to plant plants. I know it sounds weird or like grow plants because I guess

That's something that would be quite cool to learn especially and I guess I shouldn't title whoops survivor

I should title that garden or something, but when I get a garden house, I would like to start planting and grow in my own

Little bits of food, like runner beans and things like that. So I'm using this as a scrapbook area and finally

Ways to be more minimal I'm using this as a scrapbook area, too

So again, it's something that I'm probably just gonna be expanding over time. Now. I've also got some checklists here

So I've got men's style which I haven't yet to add to it

Again, I want to start adding a few designs that I would like to wear because I'm all for it men's fashion

This is visits visits. I'm starting to add a little bit of tally on things for me and Becker to do

So that we can get out a little more at the weekend. I've got other as well

others just an area where I dump a few things like

For example other could be marriage name-change

We've started working on like the marriage name change you're taking bloody ages

We've actually done the passport now though so I can check that one off. Okay, we've done the passport and

let everyone know about

You know the marriage name change

So it's quite a nice area for doing that and checking all of that off

Now over here work out is an area that I've been growing quite rapidly

so I've removed the calendar that's now there so I have daily food which is

Occasional few ideas of what I could do with my food. I need to actually get rid of this

Because that's unnecessary anymore, but if I I've got to know Terry as well, let's get rid of that because that's really messy

You can see here. I've got so excited for example

These are my old Cypress goals of what I usually wanted to hit in terms of mileage while I was over there

Some boxing staff assessment information. So what was my last data? So let in May time

I was this much way and that hi and body mass was that

And the main sort of work is done in the workout subroutine

So here you can see these are all the workout menu that I've got in arrest day, and it's connected to my health dashboard

Which I'll go over in a moment now, we're down here. I've also got a few challenges

I'd like to do so 500 meter sprint row

What's the best time who can get and then I can benchmark that against six-month time six rep suited row

What I can actually get on the weights etc and same with a bench press so I'm really simple with my workout

I'm gonna steal a few from this new Adonis Creed trailer link down here

So I'm going to go over to the health - ball because that's gonna explain a little bit more about it

You can see here. It's available. Here. We are

I've only been using this for a couple of weeks now, but I'm they're really enjoying it

It's been over almost a full month of using it, but I really love it. It's actually a good practice

So for example, I'm gonna do one now. Today is Friday

So I'm gonna say I went to bed at 11:30 and I woke up at 5:30. So that's six hours

I did a little bit of meditation and I did a boxing workout and I'm gonna press add to relation here

Now what I also did is something I want to be able to add is I did an extra 500 meter row

Which is so small

But I want to add that as a small

So if I click Add to work out my new and then I click into it I can add

So for example that took me five minutes said that laid the max and it worked on sort of all areas

and if I go out

I'm gonna just go back in and add a

Icon

So I can add a row for them. But for now, that's fine

And you can see here that I've added two in one and it's tallied that up as a sum in the relation

so if you haven't yet know how I set up a relational database with this you can watch a separate video on this because it's

So much deeper than I thought so yesterday I can add my food rating

I named normally give myself a food rating for the day. Like how well did you do?

I'm gonna give myself a 7.5 because I had a fairly solid day and I did about

25 minutes of walking yesterday strangely and

I listened to about 10 minutes of

Audible so you can see here that I've done a total of 60 minutes workout as you can see

I lost all of the previous data for this so it's not something now. I've

Been able to add

But for example, I'll be able to add tonight the food walk and audible data. I've got that so hopefully

That gives you a bit of an idea of my health dashboard

So guys in total, this is mile out the final areas

I forgot to mention is Babbington me and honest and key Batali. I am absolutely

Sucking at vomit and Dan is winning

118 games we were playing it over a year in a bit and I'm only below 40

Which is absolutely shocking and we started Sally the last few games here

and also just kept route a tally of if I'm feeling like ill because

That's useful for if I get to doctors

Something Becca just advised me to do and also I got stocking list, which I need to sort into there

so temporarily I'll just dump it in the

Inbox, and that's what it looks like that that any guys hopefully that gave you a nice outline to notion if you are brand new

To notion and you're like wow, this is bloody awesome, and I want to be able to set something like this up

I've temporarily got a skill show course, you can actually go on and enjoy it's free with the link below

I've also got a free pdf and I will be working on a brand new

Notion course because I want to redevelop the existing one to be a bit more

Fine-tuned and really teach you all as the details of notion. So hopefully that gives you all of the insights

Anyway, guys, I really appreciate you stopping by today. I really love to hear your comments below

Was that useful for you?

Because I guess I'd love to hear whether this sort of layout and setups are useful for your own

Let me know in the comments. How would you lay stuff out?

And did you notice any things different to how I do it or?

Would you like to share a few tips with me?

All you just want to share your own out because I think the comments benefit everyone, so please do that

Anyway guys a real big. Thank you

You can join because so many people are sharing their layouts and that's what's beautiful about it

There are some amazing people in that group. I

Refuse EO Olga who is a I believe she's a student actually posted in notion group

And it's absolutely fantastic her layout and a lot of people take an inspiration

It's got like over a hundred likes and people are loving it because they're really appreciating her

Take on notion and it's a lot different to mine. So that's what the benefit

Anyways, I really appreciate you stopping by today. I hope that you can go away with lots of stuff

Hip Hop History "World War II" (1939-1945) - Duration: 6:40.

I'm emcee Hero-D in short the modern Herodotus its time to put the past on blast and all

of you to notice.

We spit these bars and flow just so that all of you can know this that history's for you

and me not just teachers and the POTUS.

So kick back chill and let it flow and on this journey we will go and by tomorrow you

will know a new act of this Hero's show.

Yo wassup wassup its your boy emcee hero d in short the modern hero dotus

we about to put the past on blast as we get into wwII a war that would change the world forever

so sit back strap in it's a little long but your gonna like it so here we go…

While FDR tinkered with his plan at home Adolf Hitler was scheming to install his own

New Deal for his people- a Nazi resurgence A plan for the Third Reich to make an emergence

Burning books from the past, inventing new stories

Youth sent to camps to brainwash with glory Spreading master race theory and utter defiance

No more blame no more guilt forget world compliance

And the Jews were the scapegoats of all this frustration

'Innocents' blamed for the pain of a Nation I.D.'d. marked and hunted like dogs by the

law As ghettos would spread from Berlin to Warsaw

The world watched as the Fuhrer kept building his power

Massive armies and weapons and camps by the hour

And Germany rose while they all scratched their heads

Chamberlain tried appeasement, but got lies instead

Since the last one left Europe shell-shocked and fatigued

Hitler saw weakness and launched his BLITZKREIG First Poland then Belgium and a quick push

to Stalin If War was a Hoop-game you'd say he was

ballin'

And Japan had its eyes on its half of the Axis

Had less care for China than Trump does for taxes

Invasion, destruction quest for domination Raped women, burned towns, inhumane devastation

And the world started freaking as these leaders persisted

The Axis of Power was now double-fisted The Allies now scrambled against this invasion

And of course sent the US a big invitation

But War was not something we wanted or needed The Depression continued we'd yet to defeat

it And new Acts were passed to make clear and

ensure That neutral were we when it came to this

War.

First Cash and then Carry come buy it and take it

On your ships not ours if you think you can make it

But as Hitler pressed on no sign of him ceasing Our Policy changed and we were now Leasing

And Lending supplies still neutral in theory But truth was the allies were getting too

weary

So FDR acted Put his wheels in Motion To train troops for battle across the great

ocean Enacted a draft the first ever in Peacetime

And sanctioned Japan for their methods and war crimes

And he met his boy Winston to plan future peace

To Charter a Course to improve and increase A world of free trade, and respect for all

nations To plan post-war peace with a stronger foundation

But from out of nowhere one clear Sunday morning Japanese bombers attacked without warning

An act of pure terror caught us unprepared This War was official now Congress declared

The Empire of the Sun had officially awoke us

Japan took a chance but instead just provoked us

A campaign on two fronts was about to unleash The Machine gathered steam and production

increased

Factories were spitting new planes, weapons, tanks

While Selective Service had increased the ranks

And women kicked in elbow grease the new fashion And people conserved for the soldiers through

Rations

Sacrifice was the way for all people to fight War bonds bought, factories lit up all through

the night Victory Gardens were planted and young kids

recycled Taking rubber and metal from their old bicycles

And Civil Rights Movements held back on their protest

Double "V" was the cry for all blacks to invest

In victory abroad and at home it should follow (but)

Separate armed forces still bitter to swallow

But still worse for those with far eastern connections

Their rights non-existent their loyalty questioned Interned in a camp isolated like cattle

Forced out of their homes from L.A. to Seattle

So two distinct theaters for this war to plan One hopping islands the other on land

McArthur led troops bravely into the ocean While "IKE" gathered forces, setting D

–day in motion

And this D-day- a crucial a high stakes invasion A foothold was gained that would change the

equation Finally a push back -a German retreat

The fight at the Bulge the last major defeat

Soviets pushed through from Poland to Berlin As Hitler committed his final last sin

Took his own life refusing fate's plan A weak coward who couldn't stand up like

a man

And in the Pacific we kept pushing nearer Inevitability became clearer

But Japan didn't give in sent troops to their death

The Emperor told them Fight till your last breath

Daily bombing of Tokyo still didn't end it

So we had this "A"-bomb and were willing to Send it

Truman made the choice keep our troops from danger

And dropped "Little Boy" which was a game changer

And still Hirohito refused to agree To throw in the towel though so clear to see

That this bomb that we had just dropped out of the sky

Killed hundreds of thousands in the blink of an eye

And one more bomb dropped Nagasaki's fate sealed

The Emperor finally agreed to a deal VJ day was here the war was now done

The clouds finally lifted and there was the sun

But what it revealed after five years of bloodshed Was that 50 million, from this world were

now dead And each country's leader had blood on his

hands Cause bombing civilians was part of their

plan

And what lessons learned from this War that just wrecked us

The world needed strength not just words to protect us

A peace keeping power- a U-ni-ted Nations to stand up against human rights violations

And out of the smoke New World Order emerged Two super powers who's ideals would converge

The race had begun the future uncertain Two Powers preparedon both sides of the Curtain.

Hoooow that was a lot of information on world war 2 yall I hope you

paid attention hope you enjoyed putting the past on blast with me hero d…out

Its all about the Hip Hop History Cause the story of the past is no mystery

Cause and effect can cause you to reflect and never quite ends the way you expect

so we spit out these barz to tell the whole story

the winners the losers the pain and the glory keepin' it flowin' so you can be knowin'

the various ways that this country be growin' so put your hands in the air if ready to be

immersed in the Hip Hop History I said Hip Hip Hip Hop History

Comin' to you straight from Hero-D!

Should You Trust Reviews of Days Gone? // MrStainless001 - Duration: 2:59.

Hey everyone Sam here also known as MrStainless and today we're back talking about Days

Gone, the post-apocalyptic open-world game coming from Sony Bend Studio and I want to

explain why you shouldn't necessarily judge the game based on it's reviews.

Now, before we get into this, a bit of clarification, if you're watching this video in February

2019 you can more or less ignore this, press copies will be in the hands of gaming journalists

and they'll have access to the entire experience.

For those of you, like me, who have been following this game for a while and have been reading

press impressions of the game from E3, TES, Gamescom etc, this video is for you.

Reading reviews of Days Gone so far and journalistic impressions from the demo's that they've

got to play at E3 there seems to be a common theme, the game is scary, it looks great,

but it's not engaging.

Reading these reviews time and time again it would lead us to believe that this is going

to be a lacklustre title that, sure, looks good but that will feel like an absolute drag

to get through.

One thing that a lot of these reviewers don't tell you in their write-ups is that what they're

playing, the experience they're getting is a all happening within the first hour of

the game's story.

Nothing that the press have had their hands on so far happens outside the first hour/

hour and a half of gameplay and that has been confirmed by the dev team as they gave Game

Informer a massive look at the game a few months back.

I think this is incredibly important to remember when you form your opinion of the game from

gameplay videos that are out there at the moment and from written articles about the

game, we're only seeing a demo, we're only seeing a small glimpse at what will be

a much larger 30+ hour experience.

The experience they're getting, arguably, could be the same as sitting down with a multiplayer

shooter, playing one match and having to judge your opinion based on that.

It's not the fault of the gaming press, after all that's all they've been given

access to but I think it's important to keep that in mind that what they've had

their hands on isn't the complete experience and is equally a work in progress.

I mentioned in a previous video though that I think what we can take from these articles

coming from the gaming press is that Days Gone may take a while to really get out the

gate so to speak, it may mean that the opening hour's narrative doesn't immediately grip

us, and yeah that could be an issue but if you're interested in this game and you're

looking at articles and they seem to be overly negative towards the game, remember, they

haven't seen anything outside the first hour of gameplay, if you want to get a better

understanding of how good this game will be, wait until closer to release.

In the meantime though I'm going to be bringing you a number of little bitesize videos on

this game over the next few weeks to keep you all up to date with the coming apocalypse

from looking at the weapons we'll have in the game to why you shouldn't shoot freakers

in the head so if you want to be kept notified of when those videos go live then hit the

subscribe button down below but until next time have a great week and I'll speak to

you all soon.

How To Make Garlic Butter Chicken Recipe - Easy One Skillet Meals - Duration: 7:08.

so just another day I was on YouTube and I was checking out another YouTube

channel by the name of smokin and grillin wit a.b. and he did a chicken

recipe and I really can't even tell you what his chicken recipe was but it's

inspired me to make this what I'm gonna be doing is my rendition of non authentic garlic

butter chicken this is a very simple recipe not a whole lot of ingredients

but we should be banging with flavor come on in and take it they take a look

at the ingredients I'm working with and then we'll knock this out the recipe

that I'm just kind of throwing together there's no specific recipe for this creamy garlic chicken but

I will be leaving my ingredients and amounts in the description below our

first ingredient we have some chicken breasts what I've done with that was I

did just take a meat mallet and just kind of pounded them out not real hard

just enough to break the meat down a little bit some lemon juice garlic a

bunch of garlic we have butter fresh basil sliced mushrooms red peppers that

are diced the seasoning I'm going to use on the chicken is a seasoning by miners

mix it's called poultry perfection if you want to take a look at this I will

leave a link in the description where you can get some of this otherwise old

bay would be good on this or even just salt and pepper would be great chicken

stock heavy whipping cream and I'm not sure if I'm gonna use this sour cream or

not I may add it at the end just to smooth things out a little bit but I'm

not sure we're gonna be using that those are our ingredients let's get over to

the stove start cooking I think I'm starting out with is a pan that has one

stick of butter in it and I have that sizzling this is one of those recipes

where I'm not concerned if the butter Browns up a little bit go ahead and get

our first

chicken in and I will be seasoning this after I get them in and once I turn and

I'm gonna let that cook for a few minutes let this cook for about three

and a half minutes we're just gonna fry them over season the other side and we

will flip this over one more time so that's another three minutes

we're just gonna flip them over

we're just going to let this cook for about a minute now that that's cooked

another minute we're gonna remove the chicken we're going to set it aside

and now I'm going to throw in our garlic I did turn the heat down just a tad

worried about a medium right now now I did bruise that garlic and basically all

that is is taking a knife and giving it one good smack I'm gonna let these go

for about another three four minutes after that's gone about three minutes

and then add in my mushrooms and about half of my red onions red peppers

and I'm gonna throw in a pad of chicken stock just to deglaze the pan we're

gonna let this go for about four minutes

so we've let this go about another three minutes we're going to throw in our last

stick of butter and let that melt down so our butter is pretty much melted in

there I'm gonna go ahead and hit it with a little bit more chicken stock or heavy

cream and our basil and this basil is gonna wilt down I throw my chicken back

in

with all that juice and I'm thinking we're gonna be okay without the sour

cream that I planned on using so we got that in just gonna throw a little lime

juice or lemon juice in here I'm gonna throw this in the oven at 350 degrees

for 30 minutes this just came out of the oven I'm gonna let it cool down just a

bit and what that's gonna do is this going to allow that sauce to thicken up

a bit

so that's what it looks like all plated up

I have his plated on some rice I have mine plate it on some cauliflower mesh

let's get into it

hmm so what do you think oh it's great the sauce is nice a little too pre miss

to it that meats nice and tender and juicy really neat one them cold garlic

over there okay so anyway what that butter did by Allowance Brown is it gave

it like a real almost a dark rich kind of a flavor which complements this well

this right here they would tell you home run and I'd like to thank eridan and

smoking and grilling with a beat just for putting this thought in my mind this

is nothing like what he did but he was the inspiration behind it will leave a

link to this channel like I said in the iCard above and description below run by

there and tell him your boy Lyle said what's up like to thank you guys for

stopping by no hippie BBQ Creamy Garlic Chicken

Priorities for Entrepreneurs: The 7 Question Military Method - Duration: 11:30.

Hey there, so do you feel like you're pulled in a million different directions

trying to decide what you should be focusing on in your business? Well, first

of all, we've all been there but I want to hopefully offer you something that

can help because I worked with the US Army for about five years doing exactly

this kind of thing - helping people get really clear on what their goals were

and then prioritize what to take action on and go further than they even thought

possible and I know that this applies to business because I've done it and my

clients have done it. And so I want to share about seven really key questions

that you could be asking yourself. Before I do that though, I just want to mention

that you definitely should be thinking in terms of quarterly goals. The military

does this all the time too, but it's basically the fact, the reason you want

to think about 90 days is because it gives you time to do something that's

manageable and tangible and measurable and therefore when you're done with that,

you can evaluate it and you can pivot and you can redirect if you need to and

that's what's gonna allow you to be really agile and really adaptable ,which

is so necessary, especially today when things are changing so quickly. Right,

the second thing is that I would ask you to prioritize just about three major

lines of effort per quarter and I know that sounds so crazy when there are so many

different things you could be doing, but the bottom line is that FOMO actually

ends up keeping us stuck. So, when you're so worried about missing out on

everything, you're trying to do everything and then you have kind of 10

half-finished projects rather than just focusing on three. And you know, what if

you get them done before the three month mark, great! You've exceeded your

expectations and you just start a new sprint, so you really, you come up with

your next three lines of effort and you move further faster. Okay, so let's dive

into these questions that are really really important. The first, I would say

is the most important, which is what's the best way to bring about your vision

for your people. So, if you've gotten really clear on where you're going and

why you're doing it, then it always should help you when you get to a

crossroads and you're choosing between either two different directions or two

different projects because you can just think, which one is most likely to

further this vision, further this goal. And then the reason I add for your

people is because you're not trying to work for everybody

you're very strategically thinking about the people that will become clients,

where they hang out, of course as Maria said before, but also where they'd like

to learn from you, what they like doing and where they'd most enjoy bumping into you.

Okay, the second question is what does your mentor say? So, make sure that you

can get some mentors that actually know what's going on in your business. It's

difficult for instance for me in this small town. I don't have any other

entrepreneur friends and so in the beginning, I was relying on a lot of

online influencers to tell me what to do. The problem there is that they don't

know about your business and so it's really easy, again this FOMO comes up, to

listen to this person who says, oh you really need to be focusing on Pinterest

or this other person that says, I have the perfect solution for you with

LinkedIn. But what's going on for your business? And that's why you need mentors

that can actually give you an overview and tell you what you really, what they

think you should be focusing on - often, what they wish they had focused on, doing

the same thing. Number three is - is this scalable and can you outsource it? The

reason that's important is because when you're starting something new, you also

want to be thinking about the end goal. You want to be thinking about when your

business grows and if it's something that you would be able to give away to

somebody else to do. If not, then maybe it's not the right thing for you to be

doing. Then again, maybe it is, but you just want to be cognizant of that.

Don't rush into something without thinking it all the way through because

if you're at a decision point between two things, that can

often be the deciding factor. Number four is you know, what do you like doing? What

are you curious about? Because that is going to transmit through everything you

do and so once again, if you're at a decision point, go in the direction of

fun. Business, we can make it fun and we can make it enjoyable if we choose to.

Number five, what are your skills and talents?

There's a part of us that often says, like it has to be difficult, it has to be

hard, this is too easy for me. I just encourage you to explore some of the

easy stuff, like it can be it can be a really good time.

Number six - what's the most pressing for your business? And I will talk about that

a little bit more in just a second for people specifically that are just

starting out because that's that's really where my focus is. But number

seven is - what kind of time is available to you and what kind of

resources do you have? Now, obviously if you have more resources, if you have more

money, you can buy yourself a lot of time because for instance instead of doing

organic outreach, you can take advantage of the, you know, that platform's

advertising function and then they'll do a lot of the outreach for you. But that

requires money, so what what's your time available and what are your resources?

Now, when you get to a decision point, there I have like a little down and

dirty trick I'm going to show you using note cards. I know that sounds really

analog, but I'm an analog kind of girl and that's just the way it goes. So, if

you're a techy person and you want to use a mind map or something more power

to you, but this is what I was doing when I was starting my business. So, first of

all, each you put a different category on each note card of what you think you

would be doing and you spread it around your office floor and I'm about to show

you a real example of this. And then around each of those note cards, you

start putting different actions that you would have to take in order to

accomplish that goal and so they'll end up looking like

little sunburst, they're really cute or little flowers, and what that will allow

you to do is two things - it will allow you to see which categories are going to

require a lot more effort because they're getting a lot more

crowded and then you're also going to be able to see where you can take things

away to make something more possible and that way you'll know exactly which

things you should be focusing on. So, here's just an example of what I did

when I was starting my business. I'm gonna flip the camera around like that

like this so these are not the things I would recommend to new business owners,

but I just want to give you an idea of how this works. So at the time, I didn't

have a website, that was a priority, really important. So, I could see that I

needed copy, I needed photos, and needed to get some photos taken,

I wanted a brand style guide so that then I could go into my website and just

implement all the colors and fonts that someone else had suggested for me, and of

course I needed the tech, like I needed to figure out who would be hosting it and

XYZ. So, you can see that was a pretty easy one, it was kind of a no-brainer. But,

then I got into some other things, like I was looking over here at list building

and I really wanted a podcast. I knew I needed to spend some time studying still

and learning more and I also wanted digital products. So again, this is like,

notice that I do not have anything about clients here, this is not what I would

recommend to somebody starting out, but at the time this is what I was thinking.

So, you can see when you stand back and you look at everything and see all the

pretty sunbursts, that right away you can see that some are going to require more

effort than others, so that's just a really fun trick you can do if you, you

know, if you feel like you are really at a decision point with time. Okay, now the

last thing I want to bring up in terms of the stage of your business, like I

mentioned before, oops a little piece of hair sticking out there, there we go so

when you are beginning your business, it should be much much simpler for you than

later on and this is why - in the very beginning your sole focus should be

getting clients, getting clients, getting clients. So, think about using those

questions, the best ways for you to get clients and

the reason I say that is because you need to prove that your business is

viable before you go wasting your time on so many other things. So you want

those early wins because this is the second reason - your motivation is

directly tied to how likely you are, how likely something will happen, or how

likely you believe that it will actually happen. So if you're in a company and

salespeople are promised a sales bonus but the management has kind of, you know,

been a little shifty in the past and hasn't actually given out those sales

bonuses, those people will not be as likely to actually meet their sales

goals and it's the same for us in business. We need those early wins to see

that it's possible and to feel really motivated to go into the next quarter

and the next quarter and the next quarter. So in the very beginning, your

top focus should be getting clients and then as your business grows, yes there

are so many different opportunities for organic outreach that you really need to

zero in on those eight questions that I mentioned and for those of you just

joining, I'm gonna run through them again really quickly. First and most

importantly - what's the best way to bring about my vision for my people? Number two -

what do your mentors say, not online influencers, but somebody that actually

are hopefully more than one person, that actually knows your business. Number

three - is this thing scalable, can I outsource it later? Always be thinking

about the big picture down the road before you take those initial steps.

Number four - what are you curious about, what would be fun for you to do and fun

for you to learn? Number five - your skills and your talents, what are you actually

good at, where will you shine, what will be the easiest for you? Don't always try

to make everything difficult. Number six - is what's the most pressing? I talked

about that already, especially for people just starting out get clients. And number

seven - what kind of time do you have available or what kind of

resources do you have that could make up for some of that limited time? So I hope

that helps you all. Let me know if there are any more questions in the comments.

I, you know, battle. I want to make these concise but I also want to make it

thorough but obviously I left a lot out, so I'd love to chat more. Have a great

day everyone. Right.

Playing with Bokeh: Two Minute Tips with David Bergman - Duration: 2:11.

So how do you get these crazy shapes in

your images?

After the intro we're gonna talk about bokeh.

So what is bokeh?

It's actually from a Japanese word

that means blur or haze.

Photographically it refers

to the out-of-focus areas in the

foreground or background of an image.

To get a pleasingly smooth bokeh, it's best

to use a fast prime lens wide open.

That makes your depth of field really narrow,

and throws the background out of focus.

The further away your subject is from

the background also affects the look of

the bokeh.

The number of blades that make

up a specific lens's aperture affects

the bokeh as well. Higher quality lenses

have more blades, so you usually get a

rounder shape in your out-of-focus

areas. You can really see this when you

have small bright points of light in the

background. 8 or 9 blades is generally

considered to be a nicer look than five,

because pentagon shapes in the

background can be distracting, but here's

where it starts to get interesting... since

the aperture shape affects the look of

the bokeh, you could actually create your

own shapes and use those for interesting

effects. I picked up this bokeh masters

kit at Adorama it's made for lenses with

front filter threads of 62 mm

or less, but I made it to fit onto this

bigger lens by simply cutting out some

black construction paper. The kit comes

with shapes like hearts, arrows, stars and

more, by placing them in front of the

lens, it actually makes those

out-of-focus lights take the shape of

the cutouts.

Make sure you shoot on manual or

aperture priority when you're

doing this.

You also might want to use a

tripod, or boost your ISO, because you

block a lot of light from coming into

the lens, and your shutter speed is gonna

drop way down when shooting this way.

Look the coolest thing is that you can

also cut out your own shapes to create

anything you want. Bokeh is an important

concept to understand, and if you want to

play around a bit you can create images

that are limited only by your

imagination. Hey make sure to subscribe

Top 10 Untold Truths Of Fuddruckers!!! - Duration: 12:56.

Who doesn't love burgers?

They're synonymous when it comes to fast food chains and Fuddruckers caters to the

burger-loving customer.

This American casual franchise chain specializes in large burgers and the meat and buns are

prepared on site.

"The world's greatest hamburgers" are served at the chain and if that claim doesn't

persuade you enough to go visit the restaurant, hopefully, these top 10 untold truths of Fuddruckers

just might.

Things Fuddruckers got inspiration from

1979, the year when Michael Jackson released his first solo album, "Off the Wall,"

ESPN made its entrance on cable TV, the Sahara Desert witnessed snowfall for 30 minutes,

and founder Philip J. Romano from Dallas, Texas was scheming up his burger restaurant

"Freddie Fuddruckers."

For those who are unfamiliar with the chain, you might be scratching your head, wondering

how the name came to be.

It turns out that the name was cooked up from a made up name called Fudpucker Airlines,

which has been apparently a joke among aviation geeks for many years.

Romano has had a pretty colorful life before he went along with the restaurant business.

Before thinking about the prospects of a restaurant, he used to run two karate schools, which he,

later on, decided to let go for Fuddruckers.

In order to give full commitment to the venture, he had to sacrifice the schools in the process.

This shows he wasn't just another guy dreaming of the prospect of a fast food chain.

He could also throw in a few punches to show you that he meant business, whether in karate

or fast food.

If you're new to the channel now is the time to use your karate skills and chop that

subscribe button and kick that bell to be a part of our notification squad.

Fill Your Belly at Fuddruckers

Fuddruckers isn't far behind when it comes to celebrating Fat Tuesdays.

The chain hosts a challenge which demands the participants to indulge in a 3-pound burger.

Now the arduous journey to victory doesn't just end there.

The burger comes with 1 pound of Fudds fries and a bottomless soda of your choice.

It's not like you can take your quality time and shove all that food in every space

imaginable to come out at the top.

The clock is ticking, and you have to finish the meal in an hour or less.

So you must be thinking, what do you get for your munching exploits?

Well, there is a victory t-shirt, which you can wear with pride and two free meals that

come along with it.

If that wasn't enough, you acquire the respect from your loved ones and friends that might

speak about your amazing digestion feats in hushed tones for years to come.

Although one does scratch a head or two in regards to the free meal prize, as who would

think of having another go especially after such a challenge, unless you are a mutant

or have superpowers.

In case you think you're the chosen one, keep in mind that reservations are expected

24 hours before arrival time at participating locations.

Spooky Fuddruckers

With every order you make at a Fuddruckers, comes a ghost haunting your meal free of charge.

At least that's what customers might be thinking, visiting the restaurant in Modesto,

California.

Before the restaurant was set up at the place, there used to be a Blockbuster sitting there.

Rumors were that battery powered toys would get activated by themselves, doors would open

and close, speakers would churn out spooky sounds and the lights would turn on and off.

For those who have speculated the cause of this paranormal activity, they come down to

the conclusion that the happenings are related to the death of a skater boy during the 1980s.

There were more paranormal activities during the Blockbuster days, but still, there are

a few bumps in the night at the restaurant as well.

For those whose curiosity gets the best of them, you can check it out and for those who

don't want anything to do with ghosts tormenting them in their nightmares and real life, you

know who you are going to call.

Phil Romano, man with a Fuddruckers vision

Romano is not only affiliated with Fuddruckers.

He's also moved to other ventures and has never stayed put.

There are about 25 plus restaurant concepts which the man has dabbled in including the

famous Macaroni Grill and Cozymel's, to name a few.

When he was 50, he found out that he had malignant lymphoma at the side of his appendix and since

then he has had a dream to do things quickly because of the ailment.

Finding his passion in art besides opening popular restaurants, Romano makes abstract

paintings too.

Besides generating an estimated 1 billion dollars in annual sales from the restaurant

business, his paintings come with a hefty price tag and can go up to $26,000.

Besides that, Trinity Groves is also part of the realms which Romano has ventured into.

It is an incubator that cultivates restaurant concepts for millennials.

At nearly 80 years old now, it seems like there is still no stopping the man and judging

by his voracity to fully exploit his creative side, we just have to wait and watch as to

what he 'cooks' up next.

The Eatzi incident

The multi-millionaire businessman Phil Romano became part of a lawsuit made against him

by an assistant manager at Eatzi's.

Ichel Cook sued Romano on grounds of him harassing her by grabbing her from behind at a managers

meeting.

It's not just her who made that claim - and the whole thing was caught on video as well,

complete with Romano laughing as he inappropriately harassed her.

The mother of two was suing Romano for $1,000,000.

His lawyers were backing him up, saying the case should be dropped, and defending Romano

in the process.

With the statement, Cook wanted to make a point that such incidents are unacceptable

and no one should face them or be in a similar situation as she was.

As of 2018, the high profile harassment case has been settled between both parties, coming

up with some sort of agreement, the details of which have not been disclosed.

The committed Fuddruckers employee

There are those kinds of employees that work because they want to earn money and survive

and then there are those who love what they do and in fact, they love their workplace

so much that they decide to stick around for years.

Like Fuddruckers employee Brian.

The man has been working at Bush River Rd.

Fuddruckers restaurant since 1987.

His autism is not his Achilles heel when it comes to working professionally and efficiently.

His job is to observe and inspect the place by making sure it's clean.

Since his years of experience working at the restaurant, Brian has seen many changes happen

during the period.

Some of them have been a change in uniforms and an upgrade on the menu.

Apparently, Brian seems to approve of them as he considers the restaurant without them

as 'boring.'

Now there's no better person to trust than Brian when it comes to getting first-hand

information about what he thinks about the place.

Everyone who knows Brian has nothing but good things to say about his hard-working attitude.

For now, Brian is happy with the tips he gets and has no plans to retire.

That's what we call true dedication and a positive attitude.

PETA vs Fuddruckers

Now we all love animals and watching random cat and dog videos and memes on lazy weekends

is second nature.

Hopefully, the people over at PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) would

be doing the same.

So what does PETA have to do with a burger restaurant such as Fuddruckers?

In its quest to protect animals, PETA has evaluated various vegan-friendly chains across

the United States, grading them based on the availability of vegan items on the menu.

Where does Fuddruckers stand compared to other restaurants and chains?

For all its popularity among general customers, PETA does not seem to be a fan of it as the

organization gives grade C to the chain.

This is due to the lack of any vegan options and the vegetarian burger available cannot

be made vegan.

It also found out that the salad and dressings had animal-derived ingredients, which is another

reason for the C grade.

The chain has been advised to include vegan options and burgers on the menu.

Come on now Fuddruckers, all opinions on PETA aside, surely you could offer better vegetarian

and vegan options in the face of ever-increasing demand.

Time for a change at Fuddruckers

Old things, things that don't work, are supposed to be removed and new things take

their place.

That's what you're thinking when you're conflicted with throwing out your favorite

chair because its time has come and getting a new one is the way to go.

Fuddruckers in Reading, Massachusetts was doing the same thing back in 2015.

The franchise became part of a large-scale renovation, giving a new look to the 6,700

square foot family-oriented casual diner.

The prototype design at the time came complete with a reimagined interior and enhanced functionality.

The intention was to give it a more welcoming ambiance.

A furnished lounge area along with a view-through fireplace is accompanied by large flatscreens.

For all those who love their draft beer and are not just satisfied by wine alone, you

are in luck.

Thanks to the changes, beer too has made a spot on the Fuddrucker's shelf.

Jim Boland, a restaurateur who owns the franchises throughout Massachusetts, has been so confident

with the renovations made that there were plans to roll out the designs to other locations

as well.

For those who don't manage to grab a seat during rush hour, never fear.

Because of the upgrade, additional seats come with the design, an improved register technology,

and more options on the menu that includes all available Fuddruckers items.

Now that's the spirit Fuddruckers could further promote, "out with the old, in with

the new."

Not in all cases though.

Romano and the heart stent connection

We have already gone over Phil Romano's fascination for not sitting in one spot and

always hopping around to invest in different fields.

We have already covered his varied interests, but another feather in his cap has to be his

investment to fund a heart stent.

When his lawyers and accountants became his arch nemesis on his move, he still went along

with the idea of delving into the medical sphere.

During his time after selling off Fuddruckers, he came across doctors who had invented the

Palmaz-Schatz coronary stent.

Putting in $250,000, the invention was sold to Johnson and Johnson and since then has

made $600 million for the three parties.

He disclosed this in one of the interviews with Fortune.com and also mentioned how he

himself ended up getting those stents for his own heart.

Now that's good marketing.

It's not just Romano who saw the potential for investing in the device, as in 2010, Texas

too jumped on the occasion by investing $3 million in a Dallas based company formed by

Dr. Julio Palmaz, who created the stent.

The move was made to expand operations and add more employees.

The device has certainly been a game changer as the tube-shaped device helps supply blood

to the heart.

When we look at Romano's resume over the years it has been pretty unpredictable as

he hasn't particularly followed any set pattern when it comes to business.

The guy mentions in the interview that the true ingredients for a successful business

are responsibility, integrity, communication, and love of God, patriotism, and charity.

Sounds nice - too bad respect for Ichel Cook wasn't part of the package.

Not all is smooth sailing for Romano, as one of his ventures, Barloni, which comprised

of high-end men's clothing wasn't a success compared to his other adventures.

There's a new burger at Fuddruckers

If you thought you've tried everything on the menu of the world's greatest hamburger

joint, there's a new burger that has made an entrance recently.

Available only for a limited time, the Frito Pie Burger became part of the list of items

the restaurant has to offer.

A combination of seasoned 100 percent beef patty, complimented with cheddar cheese, Frito

corn chips, chili and even more cheese added to the mix.

It cannot be exactly considered healthy but hey one would give anything to check out this

badboy.

With fresh beef served along with all the delights stacked inside this bun, it's worth

having to run it off on the treadmill later.

It is unfortunate that such inventions do have a limited run, but that does add to the

urgency of trying it out.

That's strategic marketing for you.

In case you are wondering when it's going to disappear, December 5th is the day so you

better hurry up and if you thought a Fuddruckers was out of reach and you didn't have access

to such burgerlicious delights, the chain has got you covered on that front as well.

Dubbed the Fuddtruck, Fuddruckers on wheels comes loaded and all you need to do is book

a catering package and you might get lucky and get hold of limited run burgers.

As their brochure succinctly says, "we bring the Fudd to you," guess the chain is serious

when it comes to exposing their brand even more.

Wonder what will pop up next.

Fudd Airlines?

Till then we have to suffice with the "Fuddwheels."

We try our best to always cater to you so stay right here and click on another one of

our great videos.

Xbox Slow Internet Connection - Xbox Slow Download Speed Lagging – Ethernet Powerline Adapter - Duration: 4:34.

With more and more games requiring an Xbox Live Gold subscription like Fortnite for example,

a slow internet connection can really affect your game performance.

In this video I'm going to show you how to check the internet speed coming into your

Xbox and also some things you can do to change the data speeds or get a better WiFi connection.

At a minimum your Xbox is probably going to be connected to your cable WiFi router.

But there are some other devices you can use to perhaps get a better connection.

None of them are guaranteed to get you the fastest speed except for one... and that's

using a wired ethernet connection directly into your router.

This is the ideal way to connect your Xbox to the internet but if you're like me, your

router is not even close to your Xbox console.

So let me demonstrate the speed you can get from a 100 up 100 down FIOS connection.

It was quite amazing when I first upgraded my speeds and you can see that I'm getting

pretty close to the maximum data rates for my internet plan.

But a wired internet connection isn't an option for me and probably not for you either.

So Wifi is the most common way to connect on the Xbox.

So let me show you my Xbox connection speeds by going to the Network Settings and selecting

the Detailed Network Statistics button.

This will check the data speed on the Xbox just like I did with my computer.

With the standard WiFi connection, I get 46 megs down and 34 megs up.

Not the best considering my 100/100 plan.

But with WiFi, I have another option.

My router has a 2.4GHz signal which I'm connected to now as well as a faster 5GHz signal.

To change the connection on the Xbox to 5G, go to Set Up Wireless Network and then find

your router name in the list.

Usually it's the same name as your 2.4GHz connection except this connection will have

the letters 5G at the end.

And this connection will also have the same password as the 2.4GHz signal.

So I'll check the connection speed again by selecting the Detailed Network Statistics

button.

When it's done, you can see that the 5G speeds are much higher at 82 megs down and 66 up.

This is way higher than the 2.4GHz connection.

The only con about using 5G is that signal strength suffers but most of the time that

will not affect your gaming.

However if your signal strength and speed is really bad where your Xbox is located,

you can use a WiFi extender or repeater like this one.

This device will take the signal from your router and rebroadcast it in another part

of your house.

I have this set up as a repeater which has 2.4 and 5GHz capability.

So I'm going to go back to the Network Settings and connect to the repeater which I've set

up with the same password as my main router just for ease.

How you set this up is going to be different with various repeaters but it's fairly easy

to do with the included instructions.

I tested the speed several times using the repeater and the results were much lower than

using the main router.

I was consistently getting only about 8 megs download and almost 2 megs up.

This is really bad even though I have 100 percent signal strength from the repeater.

So in my house, this device definitely isn't going to work for me.

But this repeater has another option which I can use with an ethernet cable.

It's still going to be using the WiFi signal from the main router but I can connect this

repeater to the back of the Xbox with an ethernet cable.

In the middle of the screen you can see that I'm now using a wired connection even though

it's going through the repeater.

Using this method, I can see that it's better than using the wireless option on the repeater

with 26 megs down and 8 megs up.

It's not that good but it might be an option if you want a stable connection for surfing

the web or streaming a movie.

The last option I'm going to show you is using an ethernet powerline adapter.

This device uses your existing electrical wiring to spread wired internet through the

house without having to run ethernet cable through the walls.

It's inexpensive and could be a great option for your home.

This time I'll connect this to my computer for the speed test just to change up my shots

to make it a little more interesting.

This powerline adapter is plugged into the wall about 3 feet from my Xbox.

And the results from the test are very promising with 65 megs down and 84 megs up.

It's not as good as a direct connection to the main router but it's almost as good as

5G wireless at least here in my house.

And as a disclaimer when using any of these internet options, results will be different

in every house depending on age and condition of the in-wall electrical wiring in your home,

the distance of your device from your router, the distance from the repeater and whether
