KTH President Sigbritt Karlsson's address at installation of professors - Duration: 2:07.

At this time of the year the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer

It's dark when you wake up in the morning, and it's dark at 4 o'clock in the afternoon

But it's not just a pure physical darkness

I'm thinking of the world of facts denial and the lack of reality check

It is important to resist an impulse to give in to the dark

If we allow that critical thinking analyses and the search for

Evidence-based theories are replaced by pure opinions. We are off point

Therefore academia is an extremely important player in society today

Knowledge and research results must be measurable tested and verified

The fact that narrow minded and life-threatening ideologies are claiming

exclusive rights to the truth is alarming and

The knowledge contempt is not only worrying. It's dangerous to an open society

Instead of looking looking to form the future we go back in time and disregard already gained knowledge and

competence

Therefore I go straight to the light and the ever more important role that universities and science play

Reason

Science and ability to think for yourself to make good use

Are some of the things I would like to borrow from the ideal of the time enlightenment some hundreds of years ago

Therefore today we all share the coming hours which are so precious and enlightening

this is a feast of joy and pride of the fervent work that our doctors and

Professors are rewarded for here today in the service of research

accuracy and creativity

11 Psychology Tricks That Work on Anybody - Duration: 8:50.

Do you ever wish you had magical powers when dealing with people? Well, good news is – you

don't need them! All you need to do is learn these 15 simple

psychology tricks that work on anybody! 11. Get people to tell you their secrets

Have you ever felt like somebody is hiding something important from you but you just

couldn't get them to open up? Well, with this simple mind trick, you can easily get

people to tell you any secret. The first thing you need to do is confront them directly,

and I mean literally invade their personal space. Don't be too pushy or aggressive,

just pull your chair a little closer or take a step towards them. This will make them feel

vulnerable and encourage them to reveal more. Once they start talking, keep nodding your

head and stroking your chin. These are universal signs of agreement and experiments have shown

that people talk three to four times more than usual if the listener nods their head

and strokes their chin as the speaker talks. Be consistent with this approach and people

will start telling you all of their deepest secrets in no time!

10. Get a bigger tip Ugh, there's nothing worse than a bad tipper!

If you're a waitress, here's one super effective trick that you can use on your customers

to get them to leave a bigger tip. All you have to do is wear something red! Waitresses

who wear red get up to 26% extra in tips than those who wear other colors. But there's

a catch though! This only works on male customers! So what about waiters and female customers?

Don't worry; you can use another easy psychological trick: just touch your customer lightly on

the upper arm when you talk to them. A light touch tells your customer that you're a

caring person and that you are focusing all your attention on them. One study showed that

servers who briefly touch each customer's arm while asking them a question get 25% higher

tips than those who keep their distance. 9. Make your way through a crowd

Is there anything more annoying than trying to maneuver your way through a sea of people

that all seem to be going in a different direction? Next time you find yourself in the middle

of a busy street, on the subway, at a music festival, or any other jam-packed event, try

this easy trick that will help you make your way through a crowd more quickly. Just stand

straight and concentrate intently on the direction you want to go. Keep your eyes fixed on your

end goal and just start walking. You'll be surprised at how easily people will move

out of the way to let you through! This is because the crowd will usually look at other

people's eyes to make the decision of which way to walk.

8. Break up a fight with a snack If you live in a big city, you're probably

used to seeing people bickering on the street or public transport all the time. But what

should you do if a silly argument turns into a full-blown physical altercation? Here's

an easy trick to break up a small fight: just grab a snack and position yourself near the

scuffle. This trick gained in popularity in 2013 after someone uploaded a YouTube video

showing a man on the New York subway successfully breaking up a fight between another man and

a woman simply by standing between them and munching one some potato chips. Have you ever

seen people fighting and eating at the same time? Of course not! People associate eating

with a state of relaxation and seeing someone else eat will immediately make them regain

their composure and simmer down. 7. Remember anybody's name

Are you bad at remembering names? Don't worry, you're not alone! Most people struggle

with names, but fortunately you can use one easy psychological trick that will help you

remember anybody's name. Every time you meet a new person and they tell you their

name, try and make a visual connection between their name and something memorable in your

world - the more unusual, the better. For example, if someone's name is Rob, picture

Rob as a bank robber. You can also visualize little phrases that rhyme with the person's

name. So, if you meet a woman named Joan, think of Joan taking a bank loan, visualize

Lenny dropping a penny, or Reese calling the police!

6. Turn enemies into friends No matter how nice you are, not everyone will

like you – and that's fine! But what do you do when you know that someone can't

stand you and you really want them to change their mind? Easy! Just use this simple mind

trick and watch your foes turn into friends one by one. All you have to do is ask them

to help you with something. I know, I know – asking your enemy for a favor sounds like

the last thing you'd want to do, but trust me: it works! Deep down, we're all a little

bit vain and we want others to perceive us as intelligent and capable. If you make your

enemies feel like you need their help and you show genuine interest in their opinion,

you'll quickly get on their good side and they will forget why they didn't like you

in the first place. 5. Understand your boss

Do you and your boss never seem to see eye to eye on anything and you're beginning

to wonder if it's all really worth it? Well, there's an easy way to check if your boss

is actually capable of building a healthy relationship with the employees. This trick

is often used by social scientists to measure people's ability to step outside one's

own experience and see the world from someone else's viewpoint. Next time you're at

an office party, approach your boss and ask them if they want to play a little game. Tell

them you need only 30 seconds. Once they agree, ask your boss to extend their right forefinger

and trace a capital letter E on their forehead. If they 'write' the E so that it's backward

to themselves but legible to you, it means they're willing to see things from your

perspective. If they draw the E so that it's readable to themselves but backwards to you,

it means they couldn't care less about other people's point of view and you two will

probably never be able to find common ground. 4. Catch a stalker

You know that creepy feeling when you can tell somebody's staring at you every time

you look away? Well, here's how you can easily catch a stalker. All you need to do

is pretend to yawn while quickly glancing at the potential stalker. If they also yawn,

you will know that they were definitely watching you. The yawn reflex has been proven to be

contagious and this copycat behavior is subconscious, which means the stalker won't even realize

that they were imitating you. The reason why we can't help but yawn when we see someone

else yawning lies in the mirror neurons which fire in our brains both when we act and when

we observe the same action performed by another. You can easily test this if you try and visualize

yourself yawning. Concentrate really hard on it for a few minutes and you can easily

make yourself yawn. 3. Spot a liar

We already told you how you can trick people into telling you their secrets, but how will

you know if they're actually telling the truth or just making stuff up as they go?

Fortunately, there's another psychological trick that can help you spot a liar in just

seconds. All you need to do is create awkward silence when talking to someone who you suspect

might be lying to you. One Dutch study from 2010 found that silence in a conversation

starts to feel unbearable for most people after just four seconds. If you purposefully

create an awkward silence during conversations, the other person will quickly try to fill

it by saying the first thing that comes to their mind – and they will sooner or later

end up telling you the truth you were looking for.

2. Get what you want Next time you need someone to do you a favor,

try the so-called door-in-the-face technique. Here's how it works: you first need to ask

the person to do you an outlandish favor that you know for sure they will refuse. When they

say no, make a disappointed look on your face and then ask them for a more reasonable favor

– the one you actually want them to do. Believe it or not, they will most likely accept

without protesting. For example if you ask someone "Can you help me do all this work?"

and they refuse, just ask them "Well, can you help me only with this part?" and they

will most probably comply with your request. Basically, the door-in-the-face technique

works by first getting a 'no' and then getting a 'yes'. When the other person

refuses the first request, they will feel a little bit guilty about having said 'no',

which will trigger the fear of social rejection. The second request gives them the opportunity

to minimize the guilt and avoid rejection. Try it out on someone and let us know in the

comment section if it worked! 1. Be a mind-reader Here's a cool trick

that will convince your friends you're a mind reader. The only props you'll need

are a dictionary and a calculator. Before you perform this trick, look up the 9th word

on page 108 in your dictionary, write it down on a piece of paper, put it in an envelope,

and place the envelope in your pocket. Now pick two friends you want to perform this

trick on and give one the dictionary, and the other a calculator. Ask your friend with

the calculator to pick any three digit number but tell them that no two digits can repeat.

For example, he or she can choose the number 365, but not the number 333. Then ask them

to reverse the number and they'll get 563. Next, tell them to subtract the smaller number

from the bigger one in this way: 563 – 365 = 198. Now, ask them to reverse that number

(891) and tell them to add the last two numbers together. In our example, it will be 198 +

891= 1089. Believe it or not, the result will always be 1089 no matter what number they

choose in the first place. Ask your friend what the first three digits

of the number are. These will always be 108! Turn to your friend with the dictionary and

tell them to find page 108. Now ask the friend with the calculator what the last digit of

the number was. Again, this will always be 9. Tell the friend with the dictionary to

find the ninth word down and keep staring at them intently as if you were really reading

their mind. Finally, pull out the envelope reveal the piece of paper with the 9th word,

and impress everyone with your mind-reading abilities!

Have you ever tried any of these tricks on other people? Let us know in the comment section

below and don't forget to hit that thumbs up button!

E-Bike Battery Care And Maintenance - Duration: 6:01.

- The heart of the eBike is a battery.

These things are great devices,

storing a lot of energy in a small space.

If looked after properly,

these things can last a long, long time,

but you need to take care of them on and off your bike.

Today's video we're gonna be looking at all those tips

and avoiding that expensive replacement.

(digital explosions)

So, first things first, there can be a lot of time

that passes from when this battery's activated

or made in the factory to the time it reaches

the manufacturers, and even more time by the time

it reaches you, so first things first,

get that battery on charge as soon as you receive it.

So, lots of different manufacturers mount their battery

lots of different ways.

However it's mounted in your frame,

just make sure that connection

and the way it holds in there is secure.

If that battery falls out, hits the ground and cracks,

it's game over and you've got to replace

that expensive battery.

Lithium batteries are generally best kept fully charged,

even after a short little ride.

If you do regularly flatten that battery

it's really gonna struggle to hold a full charge

and keep 'em topped up.

A good little tip as well is don't leave that charger

plugged in for hours and hours, or days and days

away in your workshop or wherever you keep your bike.

Soon as that battery is topped up remove that charger.

If there happens to be a charger malfunction

this battery could actually overheat.

Really nice way of doing that is by actually putting a

timer, one of the ones you plug into the wall,

just put four or five hours on there and that should be

enough to charge any battery.

As soon as that, obviously, overruns

and times out you're gonna have no power going to that.

So, if you're using that battery in the winter

or below freezing, it's really advisable to bring that

battery inside and actually charge it up

at room temperature.

Some batteries won't actually even charge if below freezing.

Just check that you're not trying to charge

it while it's too cold.

Also, out on these rides you might find that

a battery sleeve or a thermal cover will actually increase

and hold that battery's core temperature.

It should in theory give you a bit more range too.

For the best overall health and life span of that battery

it's not a good idea to go sticking that battery on charge

as soon as you get back from your ride.

It's advisable just to let that battery have a rest period

it's letting that battery and the chemistry go from

a state of discharge to a state of charge.

Just give it around half an hour to get back

in the run of things, then stick it back on charge.

There's little danger from a wet battery.

Actually, the battery is one of the most waterproof

parts on your eBike.

It's actually got an IP-67 rating.

That means it can be fully submerged,

apparently without any damage.

Something that I wouldn't go testing out

down at your local lake, but they are fairly water-proof.

Just keep an eye on it's contact points.

If they do become corroded or any rust

and things get in there, just give 'em a quick wipe round.

Keep it nice and dry, get rid of that oxidization or rust

anything like that cause that can cause problems when

it comes to connecting that connector to the frame as well.

Just keep an eye on that.

Best bet is just to wipe them down with a nice damp cloth

not getting them to wet.

So let's talk about transporting that battery safely

when it comes to your eBike.

A lot of manufacturers recommend to remove

that battery before traveling.

It's more if you get involved in an accident

or your battery isn't secured properly

and it goes bouncing off and hitting someone out on the road

and what I like to do is basically wrap this battery

in a towel, stick it underneath my passenger seat

that way I know it's not gonna get rattling around

in the back of the van, fall off,

or smash into some seats when I brake.

Also, remember not to stick that thing up on the

passenger shelf or on the back seat,

if this battery hits you in the back of the head

when you brake heavy, you're certainly gonna know about it.

You might notice a few little screws, nuts, and bolts

holding these batteries together,

but whatever you do, don't even think

about trying to open these up.

Extremely dangerous, highly flammable.

Lithium powder's one of the most flammable

things known to man, so if you do suspect

a battery problem, take it back to your dealer

and get it sorted in the proper way.

So, let's talk about damaged batteries on your eBike.

If you've crashed or hit that battery hard

some of the cells inside can become damaged

and that cell can pass on to the next cell,

the next cell and all the way up that battery

could end up being affected and then heating up to

extreme temperatures, so if you're suspicious

about that battery in any way,

get it back to your dealer A-S-A-P.

A lithium battery is always best

stored in the nice, cool conditions.

Batteries are quite like us

they don't like extreme temperatures.

Things between minus 10 and above 60 degrees Celsius

should be avoided.

Just try and keep that battery somewhere nice and cool.

Nothing too extreme.

If you know you're not gonna be using that battery

or eBike for a long time it's really worth thinking about

how you're storing that battery.

A good way of storing it is keep about 80% charge

in that battery, it varies from different manufacturers,

but about 60 to 80% is really good charge to

keep that battery at.

Ideally if you can keep it somewhere nice and cool

like we talked about earlier

and keep topping it up every few weeks as well.

Just strain a little trickle in there as well

is gonna help keep that

capacity levels in that battery topped up.

Okay, so just to conclude the main points from today

are keeping that battery between 60 to 80% topped up

if you're not gonna be using that battery for a long time.

If you are, just keep topping it up all the time as well.

Don't put it in extreme temperature conditions.

Basically, if you take care of that battery,

it's gonna look after you too.

So, I really hope you've enjoyed today's video

about batteries.

If you've enjoyed today's video don't forget to check out

how motors work with Steve up here.

Also, if you're wondering how far you can get

from one of these things,

on one battery, down here as well.

It was one of the great finals...

I mean, between Zalgiris and CSKA.

Those legendary finals.

I surprisingly managed to get into that game

Because my aunt...

Or actually, it was a good friend of my mom's...

She was working in some sort of base.

And how it was back then, she got a couple of tickets.

And somehow, we got in there the three of us.

Her, her husband and me.

And I probably don't need to say how excited everyone was, everyone was talking about it.

Although the younger generation probably doesn't really remember...

what a final between Zalgiris and CSKA meant back then.

I just remember managing to get in there.

There was probably something that changed hands between the uncle and the ticket controller during the entry...

Anyway, we were sitting tight there - the seats in the Sports Hall were a bit different than they are now.

And we watched one of those games, and if I remember correctly...

Zalgiris lost that game.

The emotion began with the start of the trip - just getting on the Jonava-Kaunas bus on the way to the arena.

The people I was going to the game with met me in the bus station.

The bus was just flying to Kaunas.

At least it seemed like it.

Emotionally, it was just crazy!

At that time, my coach in Jonava, Rimas Grigas, would tell us about the whole situation.

We'd usually watch the games on TV.

But when we got off the trolleybus and started heading towards the Sports Hall...

I remember it like yesterday...

A whole pack of people dressed in dark clothes.

Back then there wasn't much to chose from in terms of clothing colors.

You might remember...

You wouldn't find a lot more than grey and black.

So that mass of people...

It was quite something.

I had jitters down my spine probably from the day I found out I would get into the game.

Up until the very end of the game, until I was standing by the passageway where I'd be walking myself years later.

I was waiting for autographs.

And I actually got one from Raimundas Civilis.

It was...

It was just my day.

Interview - Skeptics and Christmas - Duration: 4:23.

DR. SAM LAMERSON IS A PRESIDENT AND PROFESSOR OF

NEW TESTAMENT AT KNOX THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY, AND

HE JOINS ME NOW TO DISCUSS OUR CONFIDENCE IN THE

STORY PRESENTED IN THE GOSPELS.

SAM THANKS FOR BEING HERE, ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE YOU.

THANKS.

NOW ONE OF THE ARGUMENTS THAT SKEPTICS LAY AGAINST

THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH, LAY AGAINST THE BIBLE IS IT'S

JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW DIFFERENT

CIVILIZATIONS PRODUCE THEIR OWN MYTHOLOGIES, THE

GRECO-ROMAN, WHATEVER OTHER WE MIGHT WANT TO

FOCUS ON, BUT THE BIBLE IS UNIQUELY DIFFERENT THEN

ALL OF THOSE STORIES THAT APPEAR IN OTHER CULTURES.

IN WHAT WAY IS IT DIFFERENT?

WELL IN THE FIRST PLACE, THE STORIES OF JESUS WERE

WRITTEN BY EYE WITNESSES AND THERE ARE MANY

NON-EVANGELICAL SCHOLARS TODAY WHO WILL GRANT THAT

YES THOSE STORIES OF JESUS WERE WRITTEN BY

EYE WITNESSES SO THAT'S THE FIRST THING.

THEY'RE NOT WRITTEN 100 OR 150 YEARS LATER, THEY'RE

WRITTEN VIRTUALLY AT THE TIME THAT THEY HAPPENED.

THE SECOND THING IS THAT THEY WERE WRITTEN VERY

CLOSE TO THE TIME IN WHICH THE EVENTS HAPPENED.

SO IT'S NOT EYE WITNESSES WAITING UNTIL THEY'RE

SENILE, ITS EYE WITNESSES WRITING SOMETIMES 10 OR 15

YEARS AFTER THE EVENT HAD HAPPENED.

AND SO THAT'S IMPORTANT AND IT'S IMPORTANT TO

REALIZE THAT THE NEW TESTAMENT ITSELF CLAIMS

TO BE A HISTORICAL DOCUMENT.

THE APOSTLE PAUL SAYS IF JESUS WASN'T REALLY RAISED

FROM THE DEAD THEN WE'RE OF ALL MEN MOST HOPELESS.

WE'RE OF ALL PEOPLE TERRIBLY HOPELESS BECAUSE

WE'VE BOUGHT IN TO WHAT WAS A BIG LIE.

AND PAUL WHO LIVED VIRTUALLY AT THE SAME TIME

AS JESUS WHO MAY HAVE SEEN JESUS IN JERUSALEM WHEN HE

WAS A YOUNG MAN HE SAYS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

THAT WE CAN RECOGNIZE IS THAT JESUS WAS A MAN, HE

WAS BORN, HE DIED A TERRIBLE DEATH OF

CRUCIFIXION AND HE WAS RESURRECTED.

THESE ARE THE CENTER POINTS SO TO SPEAK OF

HISTORY; ALL OF HISTORY WAS POINTED TO THE BIRTH,

DEATH, AND RESURRECTION OF CHRIST THAT EVERYTHING

AFTER IS SHAPED BY IT, IS THAT HOW WE SHOULD LOOK AT IT?

THAT'S RIGHT, THE RESURRECTION IS WITHOUT

QUESTION THE MOST IMPORTANT MIRACLE OF THE

ENTIRE BIBLE BECAUSE IT SHOWS US THAT JESUS WAS

WHO HE SAID HE WAS.

THAT HE DID WHAT HE SAID HE WAS GOING TO DO.

THAT HE'S NOT LIKE THE MANY OTHER PEOPLE WHO

CLAIMED TO BE THE MESSIAH DURING THAT TIME, HE IS

THE ONE WHO SUFFERED CRUCIFIXION, WAS DEAD

BURIED AND THEN ROSE AGAIN AND IT'S BECAUSE OF THAT

RESURRECTION THAT WE, WHENEVER WE FOR INSTANCE

CELEBRATE COMMUNION AT CHURCH, WE CELEBRATE

COMMUNION, WE'RE CELEBRATING THE DEATH

OF THE FOUNDER OF OUR RELIGION, WE'RE

CELEBRATING THE DEATH OF OUR GOD WHO BECAME MAN, NO

OTHER RELIGION CELEBRATES THE DEATH OF THEIR HERO.

WE CAN THOUGH BECAUSE OF THE RESURRECTION.

I HAPPEN TO THINK THE GREATEST CHRISTMAS MOVIE

EVER MADE IS THE CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS BECAUSE

FOR ALL THE OTHER ONES THAT ARE SO APPEALING, THE

CLEAREST PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL IS IN THAT

LITTLE PEANUTS CHRISTMAS MOVIE 28 MINUTES LONG.

EXACTLY, AND YOU FIND THE GOSPEL OF LUKE, THE BIRTH

NARRATIVE FROM THE GOSPEL OF LUKE BEING READ AND ONE

OF THE GREAT OVERARCHING THEMES OF LUKE'S GOSPEL IS

THAT THE CHRIST CAME FOR THOSE WHO ARE OUTSIDE, FOR

THE POOR AND FOR THE OPPRESSED AND FOR THOSE

THAT THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS DIDN'T WANT IN THE CHURCH

OR THE SYNAGOGUE AT THAT TIME, AND YET CHRIST COMES

AND HE OFFERS THE GOSPEL TO ALL OF THOSE THAT ARE

OUTSIDE JUST LIKE CHARLIE BROWN.

AND LINUS CORRECTS ALL THE PUNDITS OF OUR DAY THAT

ALWAYS WAX ELOQUENTLY ABOUT PEACE ON EARTH AND

GOOD WILL TO MEN, BECAUSE HE SAYS THE GOOD NEWS IS

THAT UNTO YOU IS BORN THIS DAY IN THE CITY OF DAVID A

SAVIOR, THAT'S THE GOOD NEWS OF THE SCRIPTURES.

SAM THANKS FOR BEING WITH US, ALWAYS A PLEASURE.

MY PLEASURE.

THANKS SO MUCH.

it's gonna be my long-awaited Christmas home to our video I know so many of you

guys have been requesting to see this video you want to see what I have going

on in the palace for decorating for Christmas time I know a lot of you guys

get ideas from these types of videos so I'm so happy to share this city today

now today's video is also a collaboration with Mama proved her

channel is very similar to mine and she's also doing a Christmas home tour

so definitely check out her video right after you check out mine and if you are

coming from her channel welcome I'm so glad to have you guys definitely

consider subscribing down below hit that little notification bell so you guys

don't miss any of my future videos and I am so excited to get started to show you

guys what I've done around here so I'm not going to wait any longer let's get

started just gonna get started with the print boy I just have a giant poinsettia

plant over here I've got my yankee candle wax warmer and I got this quite a

few years ago so I'm not sure if they have this anymore but it's very cute

it's got a little Santa show you guys it's got a little Santa with a little

boy for the fireplace so it looks really cute when you light the candle there's a

little fire burning in there so I really like that so they have that and then

just about the body where candle this picture actually came from a local

greenhouse and it is battery-operated so you put batteries in the back and then

it makes how many should all the lights off this part glow

you guys tell but it is very pretty my little guy actually loves Christmas

so he got this last time he was there and then this little Christmas tree at

the front door so I'm just gonna move on to the next room

all right so over here I just have a mistletoe crystal I think they're called

kissing crystals it's very pretty I just kind of leave it here through our

mudroom door so if anybody walks through I guess they're getting smooched all

righty so in my bathroom here this is the powder room on the main floor I

really didn't do too much but just about these wall decals there's snowflakes

these are from Hobby Lobby and I think they're really pretty in here I have a

lot of white and blue and silver in this room that's kind of themed so I really

like the silver snowflakes I think they're really cute all right so if you

guys seen my Christmas decorating video then you probably see most of the decor

in here the only thing I did change up is I added garland with our stopping on

the fireplace there I put a little basket by the fire with furry blankie I

had a little bit more decorations to the tree because the last time we had just

I'm kind of the basics so it's more of that and our tree topper I don't any you

guys remember for my decorating video but I had like the wooden tree topper we

cannot get that thing to stay on there so we just decided to put a bow on there

for now until we can figure out a contraption or something just like to

get it to stay there I don't know maybe we'll figure it out one day but for now

that's just gonna have to do so yeah so that's our Christmas living room or king

of Christmas Christmas tree I know that I wanted one of those trees for many

years finally got mine so I'm super pumped about it it's an

awesome Christmas tree definitely check out my Christmas decorating video I'll

link it up above here if you guys want to see that video where I show you guys

how I set up the tree so this is our living room I did add some garland since

the last time I did my Christmas decorating video I do want to still put

monogram letters on these stockings so I do have an idea from Pinterest so I

think I'm going to try to do that maybe I'll do a video about it if I turn out

or if they turn out and let's see what else we got

so this is just fake garland that I picked up at Walmart and then I strung

it with some clear lights put on some decorations and then I just put my

lettering back up here and then that is it for my garland nothing too crazy

fancy I think so that's fine might be love it snow like I haven't found a spot

to hang it it's a it's a hanging one but haven't found a spot to hang it so I'm

just gonna leave it sitting on the piano I like it there anyhow so to move it

anywhere else I maybe I can just stay right there

and she likes that spot snakes and furry fur all right guys so for my kitchen

I've just got my little crystal Christmas trees on my kitchen table it's

just really simple nothing too fancy on there right now and then I'll take it

over to the kitchen to see what I've done in there all righty guys so in my

kitchen my favorite thing would be this wreath I came up with this idea a few

years ago I think I saw it on Pinterest and then I just went out picked up some

garland ribbons and some silver ornaments and just a way I went and it

turned out great everybody loves it it's it's something I'll definitely do year

after year and then for the centerpiece here this is just really simple I just

put a couple of Christmas ornaments onto the cake stand around the candles

nothing really to fancy there that one is just a simple idea that I'd turn

together anyhow I got the tea towels over there on my oven art front of the

target dollar spot it's just the Santa one it's a plaid I've also got my hot

cocoa station over there it's kind of in the works but it's mainly all this stuff

is there I just want to do a little bit of sprucing at me to get some candy

canes and get some sprinkles and whatnot but I'm gonna show you guys what that

looks like okay guys so this is my hot cocoa station it's really nothing

special right now because I am planning on doing a little bit more to it getting

a couple of little shaker bottles and putting some additives for my hot cocoa

here but this is just the beginnings of it but it still looks really cute I've

got my little snowman guys here and the hot chocolate bar this little chaos or

Hobby Lobby right now I just have her she's hot cocoa kisses in here I thought

my tea fire so it's not really filled with the stuff that you need cocoa but

it's the beginnings of it anyways

actually I have all my teas and coffees and what

I guess you can't really see I'll show you guys here there we go yeah I've got

all my teeth and coffees I want ought to give this drawer so it's a nice little

station for finding something cozy to drink I'll move along to the next room

now alright so in my front for a you can see

we put some garland up along the banister up there it looks really nice

when you first come in especially at nighttime when you turn the lights off

I'll turn the lights off here I mean you can see there you can see it's got a

little bit of a glow it looks really pretty the lights are on upstairs still

but once I shut those off it looks really nice at nighttime I like to leave

those on and I'm gonna have it stairs and show you guys what we have up there

alright so here's the garland at the top of our stairs I got this a few years ago

I'm pretty sure it was at Walmart alright so in the kids bathroom I didn't

do too much in here I just have my little crystal snowman guys I definitely

still have Halloween soap here but I don't want to waste because it is

basically totally full so we're just gonna use that until it's empty and then

I just have this little evergreen tree just for a little Christmas greenery I

might add some decorations if I find some minis the bathroom alright so we're

gonna move to the boys rooms we didn't really decorate too much this year so I

don't know let's go room by room us check out what's going on over here

okay so in Pacey's room there's really not that much going on the only thing he

did do was he got this adorable little penguin rug from the dollar store

so that's all that we have going on in here for Christmas decorations actually

in Colin's room we're gonna do a Christmas tree in there like a fake

Christmas tree but I haven't gotten around to do that yet so maybe I'll

share that on my insta stories once it is done so here you can see there's our

front foyer and here is all Garland and now we're gonna head into my

room alright so I just love my bedroom at Christmastime you guys it looks so

cozy I've got the garland over the headboard over here so I just have the

garland going down basically all the way to the ground which is really nice it

gives a really nice glow and then it goes all the way to the other side and

then I do like to put the Christmas tree in front of the window kind of like a

tree in the forest it's just there's something about the natural tree with

just the lights on it that I really like so I just wanted to leave it like that

and then over here on my dresser I've got the snow babies these are so

adorable and it looks so beautiful in my room so what I did here was I just put

some oops and knocked one over I just put some lights underneath and then some

I don't know what you would call this stuff with this batting maybe so I just

put this batting on top and then just some fake snow I just kind of threw some

on there and then I place the snow babies so that they would look really

pretty and then I just have a little tree there too so I'll just turn the

lights on so you guys can see what actually looks like in here with the

lights on so yeah and then my sheets actually my sheets I got these from

Target last year so I usually get a new set every year but I didn't get them

this year to be the last year and then I have this throw here it is kind of like

a cottagey I guess ecology feel to it but I just really like it it's so cute I

got this one we moved into our first house so this we've had for quite a

while and that would be it for our bedroom

actually I do also have my snowflake pillow on my bed but my snowflake pillow

I have to cover the bottom because our dog bit off the crystals on the

bottom part of the snowflake and I got that at Pier one like two years ago so

that was a bummer because that pillow was like 40 something dollars so I

wasn't too happy when he did that but I try to still keep it on there by hiding

the bottom oh well it's all good okay so my bathroom you guys I didn't really do

much in here not much at all I just have a Christmas candle so I actually got a

whole bunch of new like makeup trees and whatnot sent to me from Rove Anza I

believe like I'm not quite sure how you say it but I will be doing a video on

organizing makeup because I have a whole bunch of new containers from them I even

have another I think one or two in my closet so yeah that's it for the

bathroom nothing too much going on in here one of these days you guys I will

show you that closet this is our closet like the master cloth

maybe I'll just give you guys a peek right now give you guys a sneak peek

it's totally messy but this is my closet I don't even know how we have that many

clothes okay that pile back there you guys the pile that is on top of that

blue bin is actually Christmas presents hidden so it isn't that much junk

it looks like it's junk but it's actually Christmas baskets and we just

got back from a trip last week so that's why there's a suitcase of clothes all

over the place don't make fun of me for that room for that closet because it is

really messy but anyhow yeah so that is it for up here I think that's it you

guys that is basically my Christmas home tour maybe I'll just head downstairs and

yeah alright guys so I've basically shown you

all of the holiday decor in my house I hope you guys got some great ideas don't

forget to go down below in my comments and let me know what was your favorite

home decor item or your favorite idea that you saw in this decorating video

Arsenal ace Aubameyang fires warning to Man United - Duration: 3:48.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has warned Manchester United: My best is yet to come.  Team-mate Aaron Ramsey has also hailed Arsenal's rampant super-striker as the new Thierry Henry

Aubameyang has now netted ten goals from his last ten shots on target. His precision finishing wiped out the Gunners' bitter rivals Spurs 4-2 on Sunday

He is now targeting United, with Jose Mourinho's underachievers suffering from one of the worst defensive records in the Premier League this season

Aubameyang said: "I think I'm not at 100% but it's coming. It's coming and against Spurs I felt very good on the pitch

"I'm really happy because my best form is coming. We knew that if we won this game we'd be in the top four

It's great now.  "We have to look forward because we have an important game on Wednesday

We know that it's tough to stay in the top four.  "It was tough, derbies are like this and it was very important that we won

But the next game is more important. So we need to continue like this, to believe

"We have to go to Old Trafford to win. As we played today, we also have to play in the next games

"  Mourinho is set to park the bus at Old Trafford after Aubameyang once again showed his class and slicing through defences

Insisting he loves playing through the middle, the Gabon marksman added: "I think everybody knows it

"I like to play up front but I know that I can help the team. Sometimes the coach puts me on the left side but as I said it [centre forward] is my favourite position

"  Aubameyang opened the scoring with an early penalty and produced an outstanding, first-time strike to make it 2-2 shortly after half time

Ramsey said: "It was unbelievable but he does that in training all the time. He just eases the ball into the corners but with pace as well

"It reminds me of Thierry Henry's finishes, so he has that in the locker. He's been fabulous for us

"I think that was important for us to score that goal. Then you could really feel that the atmosphere was electric

That really helped us to get over the line and win convincingly in the end."  While other strikers have struggled to settle into life in the Premier League, Aubameyang has hit the ground running after his heroics at Borussia Dortmund

He went on: "The team helped me to settle in good. It's gone well. We're working to playing matches today but I'm really happy here

It's going well."

New Client Onboarding + FREE Checklist Template For Your Marketing Agency - Duration: 8:30.

So you just landed a new client and you're ready to get things going but you

don't really know what to do for the onboarding process stay tuned we're

gonna go through that in this video. All right welcome back everybody my name is

Jordan Steen also known as Cereal Entrepreneur and at this channel we talk

all about starting marketing agency, running a personal brand, building a

business online so if you're interested in learning about any of those things or

just learning about how digital marketing works then make sure to

subscribe to this channel and hit the notification bell in the bottom right

hand corner right below this video. So the onboarding process is a super

important part of taking on a new client. Why? Well because it's going to do one

thing primarily which is make sure that they don't kind of come back to you and

say all right well we want to cancel our plan, we kind of changed our mind and

we're not thinking about going that route anymore. So this onboarding process

actually does more than just gathering information and getting all the proper

information like passwords and usernames and information about the company and

their clients. It does more than that it actually secures the sale that you just

landed and that's really what's most important because if you don't continue

to do business with them then none of the other things matter. That's what's

most important so let's talk about what you need to do to run a smooth and easy

onboarding process oh and if you stay till the end of this video I'll make

sure to tell you about how you can get access to a checklist for your marketing

agency about onboarding and some things you'll want to make sure you include so

the onboarding process really does two main things number one it collects a

bunch of information about customer their clients or login information all

of that right but the second thing again is that it builds trust and it helps

them have a better experience overall with your marketing agency so that way

when it comes to testimonial time they're like oh yeah it was super easy

to work with this agency and that's super important for you guys as agency

owners to know so that's why we want to do this process and that's why you need

to know the five main steps to collecting information and what you need

to get from these clients so let's go into that so step number one is to

collect basic information about the client what's their business name who is

the client like what is the actual owner's name or marketing directors name

what is their phone number email address how do they prefer to be contacted

all of that is super important because you want that to be easy for

your agency to be able to communicate with their business also you're doing

things like sending the contract or any credit card authorization form so that

way you can use their credit card for ad spend if you need to so all of those

things are things you want to go ahead and send over to your clients the final

part of step one is really just to make sure that they've checked or really

check I guess and make sure that they've signed the documentation and filled out

all forms properly and that there isn't any missing information

number two is to schedule an onboarding call and what the purpose of this call

to do is to kind of reaffirm everything that you plan to do with their business

make sure that you're setting the expectations properly and then kind of

outline a plan of what you plan to do this is not something you want to do

before you've actually got the agreement right now you know

before you actually have the client you're just trying to pitch them and get

them on with your agency then once you land them you go back and you go into

the in-depth strategy of what you exactly plan to do to get their

business results and so now that you've done that planning you actually want to

go and kind of outline that plan to the business owners so they understand what

your goals are and how you're going to accomplish them the biggest

recommendation I have for you guys during the selling and the onboarding

process is to take notes take a notepad and a pen and paper or something and

actually write down what they're saying don't sit there and just listen and

pretend like you're gonna remember everything because you're not take a pen

and paper and write things down number three is to send a welcome email and the

real reason why you want to do that is because you're gonna send although the

onboarding documentation and questionnaires and all of the

information that they need to sign but they might have other questions that

you're not even aware of that maybe even weren't included in the onboarding form

so just send them a brief email just saying welcome thanks again for you know

signing up with us we're super excited to have you on if there are any

questions please go ahead and ask them now before we start the campaign a lot

of them will be answered in our onboarding call when we you know go

through the outline but if you have any other questions that just don't make

sense right now go ahead and feel free to ask them via email to shoot me a

message back this again helps them feel more comfortable with your agency so

that way you're able to you know guide them a little easier through the process

so number four is to get the new client questionnaire out and over to them I

consider it the onboarding form and what this does is it ask them a ton of

questions usually I just kind of combine it all into one form where

asking them the name in the business information like the phone number and

email I also put this in with my onboarding questionnaire and this

questionnaire goes into things like what are your goals what is the average age

of your client what does your client like to do for fun you know things to

know about their customers they're able to build a better marketing campaign the

other objectives are to collect information about their marketing

currently and like what they're actually spending on or what they've tried in the

past that hasn't worked or has worked have they run ads on social before

because this is going to help you have a better understanding of what you're

gonna need to get done to see results oh and if you're wondering what kinds of

questions you should be asking these potential marketing clients or your

marketing clients either when you're in the meeting with them for the first time

or whether you're you know asking them again during the onboarding process

check out this video in the top right hand corner that's gonna help you with

that oh and if you want more questions than you know what's in that video right

there we actually put some in the blog article for this video and blog we

always do a blog article with our videos so if you want to get the blog and see

you know more information about all these steps we mentioned previously plus

some of the questions you can ask and how to follow up and wrap everything up

with the customer then definitely make sure to check right below this video

there's a link to the blog article down there the fifth and final thing is where

you request marketing resources from the clients so things like their login

information their user name and password if they're not comfortable with you

giving you the username and password then they need to actually go and add

you as a manager on all of these platforms manually themselves so one way

or another you're gonna have to get access to their campaigns right you can

either do it by getting usernames and passwords or you can do it by collecting

or having them add you as a manager to those accounts I recommend getting the

passwords and usernames and using something like LastPass to disseminate

that to everyone else on my team but you know it's kind of up to you how you want

to manage that process and then what the client wants to do the next thing you're

gonna want to do is get access to things like their email list so that way you

can you know get access to their customers to build audiences if you need

to for Facebook you'll need to get Google Analytics so you can look at what

traffic is working or what content really is working what's not you want

things like company logos so that way you can do the branding side of things

and create images and video right so all of those things are things you want to

ask for from these clients and you can either do it all in one

boarding form yourself like we kind of do or you can do it in different stages

to make sure that you separate everything out and it's not too much at

one time for each client I personally like to do everything at once I don't

feel like it's too much and if they're spending a decent amount they're gonna

take the time to go through it now I don't want this video to get too long

and there are other processes like we call the follow up during the onboarding

process and when you should reach back out to them how those calls should go so

if you're wanting to find out more about that again I'm leaving all of that in

our blog article at cerealentrepreneur.academy so if you want to see that again

the link to the blog article is right below this video in the description

check that out and you'll get all of that information about the follow up

process and those questions I mentioned there so thank you for staying and since

like I mentioned at the beginning of this video we are going to give you a

checklist of things that you can use to basically ask or you know check off so

that way you get your home boarding process right and make sure you go right

below the video again and it's at the very top of the description there will

be a link for that checklist so check that out because we know it's gonna help

you guys out but everybody that's it for this video thank you so much for

watching if this video helped you do me a favor and just hit the thumbs up right

below this video so that way other people just like you starting a

marketing agency you can see it and get the help that they need

and again if you haven't subscribed in you're new make sure you hit the

subscribe button and the notification bell so you get all of our updates free

trainings and templates that we give away here at our channel but that's it

Mourinho's row with Pogba has resurfaced but who will leave first? - Duration: 7:27.

It was in 2016 that Paul Pogba declared: 'Jose Mourinho is The Special One because he wins'

Two years on and neither Mourinho nor Pogba are looking that special, and they certainly aren't winning

Who, though, will be the victor in the battle for survival at Old Trafford between the manager and the team's most expensive player? For the odds on both being at the club in another two years' time are slim in the extreme

In fact, you would argue it is impossible for the pair to remain beyond this season - one of them, surely, has to go

Mourinho, it was claimed this weekend, labelled Pogba 'a virus' during a dressing-room rant after the 2-2 draw at Southampton

Given how poor the France midfielder was at St Mary's, he perhaps escaped lightly if that was the worst of the invective

And that is where Pogba's case for outstaying Mourinho falls down. He is simply not performing well enough to chase a manager out of town

This is not Alan Shearer versus Ruud Gullit at Newcastle United nearly 20 years ago, when the latter gambled by dropping his star striker for a Tyne-Wear derby - much to the annoyance of supporters - and duly quit the following morning after a 2-1 defeat

Pogba does not have the standing of a Shearer among the United following. Many, you feel, will sympathise with Mourinho's frustrations when it comes to a player who is more concerned with style than substance

The 25-year-old's efforts of late do not tally with the statement he made on the eve of the season

'We have a pure coach-player relationship,' he said. 'One thing I can assure you - I will always give 100 per cent, no matter which coach I always give everything, I cannot say more

'Is Pogba giving everything? For a player of his undoubted ability, a return of three league goals this campaign is not enough - especially given that two of those were penalties and the other was from the rebound of a fluffed spot-kick

He, however, would no doubt point to Mourinho's tactics as the cause of his meagre return in front of goal

Following the 1-1 draw with Wolves in September, Pogba hinted at an unhappiness with Mourinho's approach

'We should just attack and press, like we did against Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal last season,' he said

'When we play like this, it's easier for us. I can't tell you because I'm a player

It's not me. I am not the manager, I cannot, like, say that, but obviously we should show more options of playing

'But I cannot say that, because I'm a player. That's my way of thinking - we should move better

We should move more, yeah.'Mourinho was reportedly furious with the comments and reacted by stripping Pogba of his vice-captain role

Their relationship - or lack of one - has formed the backdrop to United's struggles ever since

And Jamie Carragher, speaking on Sky Sports, gave a brutal assessment of Pogba. Season at a glance Live tables Fixtures Scores League One Premier League Championship League One League Two Scottish Premiership Scottish Div 1 Scottish Div 2 Scottish Div 3 Ligue 1 Serie A La Liga Bundesliga More tables More fixtures More scores 'Should Mourinho be getting more out of a £90m player?' he asked

'In terms of Paul Pogba, I don't know if he's worth the hassle for what he gives on the pitch

'There's an idea that there's one or the other. So if Mourinho goes, you'll see a new Paul Pogba

You won't, I can assure Man United fans, you won't.'Nobody plays for two years and all of a sudden there's a change of manager and you're a new player

We've seen what Paul Pogba is as a player.'He's not as good as he thinks he is. He's got talent, but his big problem is his understanding of the game

It's been a problem since he came, and it hasn't changed now.'Carragher is right, of course

In this battle of manager versus player, there should only be one winner.Mourinho's problem, however, is that he looks just as unhappy as his under-performing midfielder

He repeatedly calls out his players in public and, to that end, sympathy for Pogba grows

Just as it does for Luke Shaw, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial every time the Portuguese takes needless aim for the young players under his care

Perhaps Pogba does need more respect and love, evidenced by his contribution under Didier Deschamps en route to lifting the World Cup in Russia

But first of all he has to love and respect himself and the club who pay his sizeable wages

A player who believes he is among the top five in the world should want to show that every week, regardless of the boss - the man on the pitch, after all, is in charge of destiny far more than the man in the dugout

Do Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi ever sulk amid managerial change or uncertainty? In comparison, Pogba, as Carragher eluded to, is too much hassle

He needs optimum conditions to be at his best, and Premier League football does not allow for such favourable settings on a weekly basis

In their two-and-a-half years at Old Trafford, Mourinho has achieved more than his flaky Frenchman, and for that reason it is he who deserves to win this clash of personalities

You fear, however, they will both end up losers.

✅ Breaking News - Steven Gerrard is delighted with McGregor's second spell at Rangers - Duration: 9:19.

Had things worked out differently over the summer, Allan McGregor would be keeping goal for Hearts against Rangers on Sunday

Aware that his former Scotland custodian was keen to return north after his contract at Hull City expired, Craig Levein hatched a plan to lure the 36-year-old back to his home city of Edinburgh

McGregor was receptive but the minute Rangers entered the fray, Levein knew his plan was doomed

A late pitch from scout John Brown and director of football Mark Allen sold McGregor on a return to Ibrox - even before Steven Gerrard had been paraded on Edmiston Drive

Hearts moved on to land Zdenek Zlamal, and Rangers did not make a better signing all summer

Gerrard might not have personally identified McGregor but the incoming manager was happy to endorse the deal

Over the course of the past five months, there have been several occasions when he thanked his goalkeeper

The Rangers No1 was at it again on Thursday, twice denying Villarreal's Karl Toko Ekambi in one-v-one situations to secure a clean sheet and a vital point on a night where defensive mistakes threatened to derail the club's European ambitions

Such crucial saves have kept Rangers competitive on two fronts. Beat Hearts this afternoon and the Ibrox side will move above Celtic to the top of the Premiership table

Do likewise against Rapid Vienna on the 13th of the month, and progress to the last 32 of the Europa League will be assured

Neither scenario would be conceivable without the handiwork of a man playing at the very peak of his powers

'I can't believe we got Allan for free. I think it was a stroke of genius from Mark Allen,' declared Gerrard

'You need to take age and everything into consideration now but if you could knock a decade off Allan, he would be worth a hell of a lot of money

'He could comfortably be part of most teams. To achieve in the biggest games in any league, you need a top goalie

That is the foundation you build on. 'When I decided to take over, that's an area I was keen to add to

Speaking to our recruitment team, when I knew McGregor was available and keen to come back - desperate to come back - it was a no-brainer for me

' McGregor excelled during his first spell at Rangers and helped the club to the 2008 UEFA Cup final, a match he was to miss because of injury

He headed to Turkey after Rangers' financial collapse in 2012, spending a year with Besiktas before commencing on a five-year stint at Hull

It was there that he first caught Gerrard's eye. 'I'd have loved Allan to play for Liverpool,' said the manager

'He went to Hull and - with all due respect - on talent and ability, he's capable of playing in the top six

'It has been great to have him back at Rangers. He's enjoying his football and he's in great shape

I just hope he continues playing for as long as he can, because it's not the same when you hang up your boots

' Looking lean and sharp, McGregor shows no obvious effects of the back injury that escalated in 2016 and eventually required the surgery that put him out for a year

'At times, I've had to manage him in cup games,' admitted Gerrard. 'Against Kilmarnock, he was feeling his back a little bit and that's a flag for me to say: "Protect him"

'There is no getting away from the fact that he's 36 and has had that problem in the past

We have a lot of games but Allan wants to play, so credit to him. 'He just looks like a goalkeeper

He has big arms and he is thick set. He fills the goal. 'But he also has the experience of knowing when to speed up a game and when to slow it down

He takes the sting out of things, knows when to go long and when to play out. 'His game management is incredible and you can't buy that

' Gerrard is not the only manager to have cause to thank McGregor this season. Having reclaimed the Scotland jersey from Celtic's Craig Gordon, the Rangers star started each of the four UEFA Nations League games this season and pulled off a vital late save from Israel's Tomer Hemed to ensure a table-topping result for Alex McLeish

'I wasn't lucky enough to play alongside Allan, but I am delighted to have him as one of my players

He makes world-class saves and he does it at important times,' said Gerrard. David James was the Liverpool goalkeeper when Gerrard commenced his career at Anfield, while David Seaman was still collecting caps when the midfielder made his international debut for England

Of all the goalkeepers he played in front of, he ranks a Champions League-winning team-mate from Spain as the best, but he draws a similar level of comfort from having McGregor at the base of his current team

'Domestically, Pepe Reina is the best I have played with,' he revealed. 'Allan is up there for sure and they are similar in many ways

'Spanish keepers have a different style in certain moments. In terms of shot-stopping and one-v-ones, I have that same trust in both keepers

When someone was through on goal and Reina was there, I always felt he could bail us out

You get the same feeling with McGregor - that security. 'As soon as we made the mistake for Villarreal's second chance on Thursday, you saw how quick he was

He closed down the space and that's difficult for the attacker.' A one-club man until his brief career coda with LA Galaxy, Gerrard fashioned his reputation as a leader for Liverpool and England by driving his teams forward from the middle of the pitch

At Rangers, he quickly identified right-back James Tavernier as the preferred candidate for the captaincy soon after taking office but insists the armband does not entitle the bearer to exclusive rights of responsibility

'Just because James has the armband does not mean that we have only one captain,' added the manager

'It is leadership we are looking for, not just a captain. Allan gives us that from the back

He is positive at the right times, he gives people a kick up the backside at the right time

People listen to him. 'Andy Halliday leads in a different way. Tav leads by his performances and his consistency

I think the dressing room is healthy. We have some good people in there. Scott Arfield, where do you start with him? He is a perfectionist on and off the pitch

' Gerrard's enthusiasm feels infectious and Rangers will need to draw on that passion and every other available source of energy as they navigate a December schedule that will tax mind and body over the course of nine matches in just 27 days

After Sunday's test at Hearts - who can tie level with Celtic on points with a win - the preparation will start on a home fixture against Betfred Cup finalists Aberdeen and will continue right through until derby day on the 29th

Gerrard continued: 'When we came back from the international break, we saw this period right up to the Celtic game as a really tough period

But it is full of exciting games, games the players should enjoy and look forward to playing in

'The next two fixtures are big for us, six important points, but we need to focus on Hearts first

It would be nice to sit top after the weekend but we have to earn the right. You get nothing this early for it

'
