Hello guys and welcome back to my channel!
For those of you that are new here, my name is Andreea and today I have a special video
for you and I'm really excited because I finally bought the Kat Von D Alchemist Palette!
This is supposed to be a face and eye highlighter palette but it's basically magic in a palette.
Let me show you what I'm talking about.
I'm sure you've already seen this all over the internet, but it features four colors.
This is the green one; it's called Green Emerald.
The purple one which is called Ultra-violet Amethyst.
The blue one, the Saphyre.
And the pink one which is this one on the bottom, called Opal.
You can use them as they are, as you will see me doing in this look, but you can also
use on top of other colors to give them that iridescent glow.
And also on top of eyeliner and lipstick and I will do that also in the look.
So yeah!
Without further ado, let's get to it!
I started off with concealer and foundation already on my face because our focus here
is the alchemist palette.
But nevertheless I will show you how I contoured my face because it's important for the overall
look.
I'm using the Kat Von D Shade & Light contour palette (of course I would) and the brush.
I used the Subconscious shade for the dark parts.
For the highlight part I used the Levitation shade and blended away for a smooth finish.
Moving on to eyebrows, I'm using the NYX Precision Brow Pencil to fill them in.
I never know what to say when doing my brows…
Just filling them in guys, nothing too fancy here.
Some eyeshadow base and getting down to the alchemist palette!
Just look at these gorgeous colors, I'm so excited!
Taking a flat brush I'm getting some of the amethyst and build it all over the lid
in dabbing motions rather than dragging ones.
Using a fluffy brush I'm taking the saphyre into the crease and dragging it outwards and
a bit under the eye.
I'm also adding some of the opal in the outer corner of the eye while dragging it
slowly towards the middle.
With a tapered brush I'm also adding some of the opal under the eye.
With the same brush, I'm adding some amethyst in the inner corner to open up the eyes a
bit more.
Moving on the liner, I'm using the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner to give myself a dramatic cat eye.
Meow!
Let's do some magic now!
Going back to the palette with a flat brush.
I'm taking saphyre and adding it on top of the liner to make it iridescent blue!
Oh, I'm living for this!
Top it all up with a bit of mascara.
I'm using the XXL mascara by NYX here.
This is where I lost control and decided to add some emerald in my brow bone and under
the eye!
Could not help it, sorry!
For the highlight I went full-on fairy and decided to mix all of the colors together!
For blush, I added some of the NYX Ombre in shade Mauve me.
Going back to the palette, I added some amethyst on the tip of my nose and down the bridge.
Also added some on the cupid's bow to make it more defined.
Adding my favorite lipstick, the NYX liquid suede in shade Alien to give myself a mustache.
Take some opal from the alchemist palette and add it on top using your finger.
That's it!
