Olivier Giroud takes first Chelsea training session as he reveals his delight at joining...

OLIVIER GIROUD took part in his first training session for Chelsea this afternoon since making the switch across London.

The French striker arrived from Arsenal for a reported fee of £18million as one third of a trifecta of transfer dealings.

Giroud moved to Chelsea, to enable Michy Batshuayi to join Dortmund on loan - which meant that Arsenal could get their £56m man, club record signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 31-year-old says Chelsea is the perfect club for him, given the addition of Champions League football he has now acquired.

Later this month Giroud will have the chance to play against Barcelona, while former club Arsenal will face minnows Ostersunds in the Europa League.

With first-choice striker Alvaro Morata sidelined with a back injury, Giroud could jump straight into the Chelsea starting XI.

  The Frenchman looks comfortable already at Chelseas training ground.

Giroud told the Chelsea website: The most important thing was talking with the coach [Antonio Conte].

I felt like he really wanted me and he really wanted to work with me.

I wanted to sign for Chelsea and nowhere else, I really wanted to play more..

He said: I wanted to stay in the Premier League, and Chelsea for me is perfect because I can even stay in London.

But the first reason is the sporting challenge, that has always been my first priority.

The Frenchman continued: The Champions League is massive for a football player, there is nothing above it when youre playing for a club.

There will be two nice games against Barcelona.

Tax systems have become increasingly

skewed towards large

companies who can negotiate

large tax breaks from the formal

and who can actually evade most of the

other ones. Even local taxes.

And so what you have is that increasingly

the tax burden because a state needs

taxes to do anything,

everything, increasingly the tax

burden is becoming also

with these middle class that feel already

pressed and put down.

And so the inequality,

not only in the amount of

money you have to actually put into the system to

make it work for you,

but also to see that others are escaping

this and the super rich are being helped

constantly.

And the big companies are being helped constantly without creating

good jobs for your kids,

without providing good houses for your kids.

So you're making the link between tax

evading corporates

and the rise of right wing

populists parties...

The whole tax system.

So it's...

But one aspect of that is the

corporatocracy not paying their

fair share and people voting

for strong

and possibly wrong leaders who they think

can come in.

and sort that out.

Which has created

bi-politicians who of course get money from those big

interests to make those tech systems

not work for them.

Some inequality is fine because

it actually represents you know people making

a bigger effort.

But a lot of the inequality doesn't represent that

at all, and so people feel

it is super unfair that if they work

every day, very hard,

and go to work and get out of bed

and they still get all the tax burden,

and they don't get the good education for the

kids, they can't find the house

and I'm not sure if their pension is in order.

Why would these people keep paying taxes.

It showed that the most efficient compound was avocatin B, as it killed the cancer cells.

What is even better is that the substance did not have an impact on the healthy blood

Avocatin B has attracted the attention of numerous researchers and there are now plans

to take advantage from its benefits by developing a medicine for leukemia.

Apparently, this is going to take quite a long time, but it looks promising.

At the moment, the current treatments for this lethal blood cancer are:

Radiation therapy Stem cell transplants

Targeted therapy Biological therapy

Chemotherapy Therefore, next time you are eating avocados,

make sure that you don't dispose of the seeds.

Even though the fruit includes B vitamins, as well as folate and healthy fats, vitamin
