Kanye crashes, The Killer crushes,
and Supreme lives in Levi's.
This is StockX MKT Watch.

Our lead story this week:
Kanye West is no longer making America great again.
Less than three weeks after his Oval Office cypher
with the President, 'Ye took to Twitter
to declare that now his eyes were opened
and he was officially quitting politics.
Now maybe Kanye had a real change of heart
or maybe the explanation is a whole lot simpler
and a whole lot greener.
Politics is just bad for business.
After all, last week saw the release
of 'Ye's latest Yeezy: the Mauve 700,
a sleek fall color way on a silhouette
that some would consider a sleeper.
It didn't matter.
The sneaker flopped harder than a DJ Khalid stage dive.
With five days after Saturday's drop,
the Mauves were still sitting in select sizes
on Yeezy Supply.
And buyers on StockX weren't having any of it either.
The Mauve racked up just 800 StockX sales on its first day.
Big numbers for a normal drop,
but way less than what we've come to expect
from a typical Yeezy.
Now, as for profits, those were even worse.
While the last four Yeezy's debuted to premiums
of between 30 and 60%,
the Mauve started out
with a drop day price premium of just 20.
And prices have continued to fall all week.
Over the past five days, they slipped down
into the single digits
with some pairs actually selling below retail.
Maybe now that he's leaving politics
and just making music again,
Kanye can finally get that mojo back.
I mean, just drop Yandhi already, 'Ye.
Just drop Yandhi, 'Ye.
To the street!

While Kanye was putting up bricks,
Supreme came out in week 10
with a collection inspired by John Woo's film The Killer
and it was hotter than a headband-wearing Klay Thompson.
Actually I mean nothing was hotter than Klay Thompson,
that is except for my girl Anna Wintour.
Now look we've seen profitable movie collabs in the past.
From Akira to Scarface to Taxi Driver and Hellraiser.
But Supreme's The Killer capsule is shaping up
to be the most profitable Supreme movie collab in history.
From the skateboard to the trust tees, eight different items
from The Killer collab posted profit margins
in the double digits.
The skate deck sold for two times retail.
The navy trust tee went for three times retail.
And the black and white trust tees went
for an astounding four times retail.
Guess Red Dead 2 isn't the only blockbuster this week.
To the week ahead!

Now if you're sitting at home like I am
and not in the LBC attending Complex Con
and getting your hand on the most exclusive drops
in the world, don't trip.
Still hella attire out here for you to get your hands on.
This week Jordan is going back to back by dropping
and releasing the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Paris Saint Germain
and the Jordan 5 Retro Satin Bred both on November 3rd.
And you might want to check the PSG Jordan 1's early prices
because they have been going through the roof
at over $230 a pair.
Maybe this battle could focus solely on sales
and not on bars.
I see you Cardi and Nicki.
But instead of battling, Supreme has teamed up
with the legendary Levi's
and they're dropping some quality quilted denim goodness
with reversible trucker jackets and coveralls.
And BAPE is back at again with the three stripes,
hitting the mountains with snowboarding gear
that's harder than YG's Halloween bostume.
I see you boy.
Plus, prepare for liftoff with Vans and NASA
as your favorite skate shoe gets ready
to go intergalactic planetary.
Shout out to the Beastie Boys
with the new Space Voyager collection.
And finally it's ladies night for the Nike
and Jordan 1 Retro High Utility Pack
with the women's exclusive touch.
So fellas get your sheep fur ready to match the Mrs.
during those windy winter nights.
And last but certainly not least:
next Tuesday we've got the most anticipated drop
of the last two years
from a little-known brand called Democracy.
So go to the polls, get in line early and cop some
of the freshest, flyest congressional candidates around.
Make your voices heard.
Now, before we sign off this week,
shoutout to last week's StockX Select Winner, Brian
from Yorba and Linda out in Cali.
Look, we've got a whole new StockX Select giveaway running
this week, so head over to our StockX Instagram
