Elite: Dangerous the Scanner 1st Impressions Beyond chapter 4 - Duration: 10:22.Hello its Ricardo and welcome back to elite dangerous Beyond chapter four lots
of new updates have turned up and in particular is this scanner the new way
of scanning celestial bodies and surfaces of planets indeed yes all looks
a bit complicated doesn't it before we get into that I just got to say what the
graphics the graphic updates on this absolutely amazing you know they really
have lightened up space to be honest so scanning you've got two modes now you've
got a combat mode and you've got a scanning mode alright but you're going
to need to configure and we'll get into that a little bit later you can't do
scanning in combat mode and you can't do shooting in scanning mode so be mindful
of that anyway scanning planets and scanning stars you
can still rock up to the main star in the body and press T to target it and
scan it okay once you've got the scanning mode you can still use a
discovery scanner to do a sort of initial hunk and get your celestial
plane that's fine everything's fantastic with that then it starts to get a little
bit what seems to be complicated but really once you do it it isn't when I
first opted I thought oh I'm not going to get on with this and here is the
spectrum scanner now in all its glory no you say you are gonna have to configure
it and bind it to certain key mappings but the idea is you move the cursor over
a celestial body of which there aren't and really that I haven't found in this
area and then using the spectrograph at the
bottom you could say you tuned in to the resonance frequency of the planet
and then you zoom in and then you scan it so they're just rocking in and going
honk there's all the planets and instead of sort of rocking up to each individual
planet just to get a planet scan you can do it this way
um so like I say perhaps not the best system we're gonna jump to another one
and see how that goes and what we're gonna do then is we're gonna get some
scanning on so we are we're just dropping out here's the main star so
we're gonna scan this straightaway thank you very much and then we're going to
find all these unexplored worlds now here comes the tricky bird so I say the
tricky part the new part it's just new as you can see it's all unexplored you
look at the system map some commanders have already been there already if you
are new to the system you'll get your name put on it
look at the 3d map of the system in the system a plaid I had quite a bit of work
done to it you can see what sort of planets are on what plane
now into the scanner so you've got these arrows these are pointing to where
different bodies and you can see these glowing these glowing blue dots or blurs
now we fixated on one there's a red circle around which means we can zoom
into it we can use the slider now you'll see from this are taking a snapshot it
moves quite quickly the inner circle is yellow right which means I'm right on
the many on that spectral analysis bar I've slid it all the way over to the
left-hand side this is going to be a signal source right which means I can
now zoom in and analyze it so you've got to get that internal circle as yellow it
seems complicated but it isn't really you see degraded emissions detected all
right so if you go and think about and look for some more planets and other
things like that then as long as you get that inner circle is yellow you can scan
it from this distance so we'll move on to this one what's that that's gonna be
another signal source because the inner circle is yellow and the spectrum bar
you see is over to the left-hand side again another degree in emissions
detected job moving on let's get to a planet
okay so here's some glowing blue dots we've zoomed in into the middle you can
see where that is distortions are in that bar and we found a planet again
ensuring that inner circle is yellow jointly it took me a little while to get
my head around this about 5 10 minutes I thought it's actually quite good it's
not as hard and fast as what youth it was the last time Rocking
honk yeah fantastic we're on we've got everything but yeah travel to every stir
in the system to scan it like this now without service coming in a little while
but I just want to emphasize this then I think this is actually good bonus in the
game it's a great addition some people might say oh I don't like it
I don't like it I like honking and then rocking out I like I don't like that
this is gonna save your time unless you want to go over there in surface-mount
something right again you're gonna fly over this is gonna save time and gives
you a bit extra depth in gameplay I think anyway so they are scanning
planets scanning signal sources and we discuss at the signal sources as well
have gotten to them but they are persistent meaning that if you leave the
system you can come back in okay so let's have a think about what we're
gonna do with surface scanning no surface scanning you're gonna need a
surface scanner for this nothing's really changed there so what you do is
is your rock up to this planet alright as you get close to it it'll scan and
tell you exactly what it is if you haven't scanned it already you're gonna
go into scanner mode right obviously not combat mode because we're doing scans or
scanning and what you're gonna do is once you get in range right you're gonna
be able to fire probes off at this planetary body to map the surface no
more Marquand eyeballs looking for stuff okay so there is our planet we're in
range as we can see we're in range we've engaged the surface scanner and then
we're gonna fire probes off as you can see I'm firing probes now you have
unlimited probes you're gonna fire them off and when they hit the surface it's
gonna pulse a bit like
the scanner pulse that moves us can make a ships as you can see and that is gonna
map a percentage of what you can see at the surface of the planet simple as that
so no more flying really low over planets looking for things the idea is
apparently you fire these probes off they hit the surface of the planet that
then returns all the telemetry and then you get to view the surface of this
planet from from the system map and get all that information just like that it's
a really cool effect I think some of the explorers might say all I liked flying
over planets and looking for things that added to the mystery but now technology
has kind of got in the way of that and you're able to fire all these probes off
and it's lovely sort of effect it's not that planet surface pretty cool I
thought so there you go this is a brief overview I'm not saying I'm right in
everything I've said and to be fair I probably haven't made an L of a lot of
sense as I understand it that's where we are with scanning so what you have to do
to remember is you can't do scanning in combat mode can you scan in scan mode if
you want to scan the surfaces of planets then be sure to have a detailed surface
scanner get into range fire off your probes if you want to do the normal
scanning scan the stur do a hunk in scanning mode that will give you your
celestial plane of where all the planets are gonna be and then focus with the
spectral graph analyzer as we've seen in this video and then you'll be able to
tune in to planets or signal sources
and do you discoveries that way so I've been Ricardo this has been a leak
dangerous chapter four beyond and my first look at the scanner I daresay as
we continue to play it every win skills with the scanner right will become more
advanced anyway thanks for watching check out for more videos in the series
and I'll see you soon
you

Can I Use _____ Sampler To Make Boom Bap? - Duration: 6:18.What is going on continuing on our last video about the process of making music
in general in this video we're going to address the question of and this is in
quotes can I use blank sampler to make boom-bap hip-hop if you feel that the
sampler you have or the sampler that you like isn't typically used for hip-hop
and you're wondering can you use this or do you need a specific brand of sampler
to make hip-hop this videos for you but first I'd like to invite you to like
share and subscribe to our channel and with that let's get to it
alright the reality is there are definitely samplers that are popular in
the history of hip-hop production and in current boom bap hip hop production and
those are typically used to make the music they're used by a vast amount of
producers co-signed by people all over the world
and have become part of hip-hop culture in themselves as instruments and what's
also a reality is that any sampler can be used to make boom bap hip hop over
the years I've been continuously shocked by finding out what samplers were used
to make some of my favorite classic hip hop songs and while some of them were
the typical samples that we know the majority of them were obscure unpopular
samplers used to make some of the most iconic hip hop we have to date in hip
hop music
so now the question is how did we get to this point where we feel that we need a
specific type of sampler to make hip-hop and in thinking back about it there is a
reason for this and while it's not the only reason it definitely is a major
reason whether you're a beginner in the hip hop production game or a veteran we
have all gotten the talk what's the talk the talk goes something like this you
start off in the production game and you've got your hands on a sampler a
sampler that you like and eventually you run into somebody else that makes
hip-hop music as well and the two of you get to talking and of course you end up
talking about gear and they say hey what are you using and you say well I'm just
using sampler XYZ and they say what sampler XYZ no you need to get sampler
MPC or sampler SP 1200 or machine or dig attack or SP for or for any of the
popular samplers and they proceeded to list the many names of everyone that you
admire that use the sampler that they're talking about which makes you feel like
the sampler you have is all wrong for boom-bap music so you either put that
sampler aside which of course halts your whole process of music making and run
out to the store and get that recommended sampler that you have to
learn from scratch and because of that you've now accepted the mindset that you
need a recommended sampler to make boom-bap music and make no mistake I've
gotten the talk and I've definitely given a lot of people to talk and over
time I've realized that it's best to let everyone use the equipment that they
have and the equipment that they like the best results will always come from
that
so how did the classic machines that we Revere get popular in the first place
but all instruments that do something very well and efficiently become popular
and they have staying power beyond their years because of those qualities
so take the SB 1214 technology at its time there was no better drum machine
that could sample and sequence and be relatively affordable during its time it
was light easy to carry around from Studio to studio and although it was
made in 1987 the SB 1200 was built off the reputation of the SB 12 which was
made in 1985 so it was an upgrade that was embraced
by the hip-hop community for all the reasons listed above and during those
years as hip-hop music grew and become more commercial and people actually
started mentioning the SP 1200 in songs which even further boosted its
popularity among inspiring musicians and inspiring producers the SB 1272
by 1988 when the MPC 60 rolled around it had to break into the market to gain its
place even though it was a superior machine to the SB 1200 and so these two
drum machines became the most popular even though at that very same time
classic records were being made with other samplers so popularity and general
acceptance by the hip-hop community has a huge role to play in how we think
about other machines in relation to the tried and true samplers that we know so
let's move on to the truth the absolute truth is you can make
boom-bap hip-hop with any sampler and more than that you can make hip-hop with
anything that makes noise anything within your grasp that you can produce
sound with can be used to make hip-hop a stick a tire a table beatboxing a
turntable clapping anything that can produce sound and can be recorded can be
used to make hip-hop so if you are now starting out in hip-hop or you've been
involved in other genres of music and have an interest in starting to make
hip-hop always remember out of all the genres of music we have today hip-hop is
very versatile anything goes as long as the end product is great and the best
thing that you can do to make great hip-hop is to use the machines that you
like whatever machine calls out to you and gravitates towards you the most
that's the machine that you're supposed to be using because it's gonna assist
you in translating your musical thoughts as accurately as possible to the
listener and at the end of the day we always have to remember that hip-hop did
not start with the sampler and it most definitely won't end with the sampler
it's a very freeform genre similar to jazz in that the end result is far more
important in the process anyway thank you for watching if you
like to learn something today subscribe to us here on YouTube I will catch you
on the next one in the meantime take care of yourself peace

Beastie Boys Mike D and Ad-Rock Explain the Art of a Mixtape - Duration: 3:31.-Mike D and Ad-Rock!
Their new book, "Beastie Boys Book" is available now.
It is fantastic.
This book is everything.
It's a graphic novel.
It is -- There's a cookbook in here.
[ Laughter ] You have -- There is.
-There is a cookbook.
-You have -- Spike Jonze writes a great thing in here.
Amy Poehler's super funny.
And it also has an audiobook
in case you're tired of me talking about it.
You hear funnier people talking about it.
-It's a very long audiobook. -It's a very long audiobook.
-Yeah, yeah.
-Yeah, but it's all sorts of like -- Jon Stewart signed it.
Will Ferrell did something on it.
Anyways, check it out. It's fantastic.
I wanted to say, a lot of the book is dedicated to --
Obviously, you wouldn't be where you are without New York City.
You always -- you talk about that, both you guys.
You love the city.
You talk about how people used to walk around with boom boxes
and just play their music loud, which is --
People don't do that now.
And then you hear a car go by.
And you go, "Oh, they're listening to that."
Human beings would walk around with their sound systems.
And they would play what they're into.
-Yeah.
-And you also talk about the art of making a mixtape.
-Yeah.
-Which is tricky for the young kids out there
that don't even know what a cassette -- what you had to do.
-Yeah, the music would be on a thing.
It wouldn't be on your phone. [ Laughter ]
It would be on this, like, other thing.
Then you'd have to take that other thing
and put it in another thing.
And then you'd have to put a thing in that
and then put it in your ears, on your ears.
-But when you're making a mixtape,
you actually had to play the whole song while you're --
plus, play Record on the tape and you would have to --
you can't just -- can't click and drag.
-It was kind of like live streaming
but that just didn't stop.
You had to like -- you'd make it --
-Yeah. -Anyway.
-Yeah, well, you had that.
-You can Google that and look that up.
-And then you had to press Pause at just the right moment.
And then if you mess that up, then you have to go rewind back
and be like, "I got to get this right."
-Yeah, or take the pencil out
and just make sure that it's all good.
-Tightens it up.
-Since it's -- I want to say, happy birthday to you, Adam.
-Thank you.
-Today is Ad-Rock's birthday, you guys.
[ Cheers and applause ]
Happy birthday! Look how happy he is!
Look how happy he is!
Look at the baby. Look at the baby.
Look how happy he is. Oh, my gosh.
-Hey, Adam, I got you a gift from "The Tonight Show."
[ Drumroll ] -Oh, wow!
-This is a -- -Whoa!
-Whoa! [ Cheers and applause ]
-It says, "Happy birthday, Ad-Rock.
Love, 'The Tonight Show.'"
-Are you kidding? -Love, "The Tonight Show."
That's the date on it right there.
It has CDs. It's Bluetooth.
It's USB. It's got cassettes.
And we also have a mixtape
made for you personally by Questlove himself.
-Aww, come on. What? [ Cheers and applause ]
-That's for you, for your birthday.
Yeah, and, Mike --
-Is this real?
-Mike, we also know --
I know that your birthday is November 20th.
It's coming up.
-It's coming up. -It's coming up.
-It's coming up, so I got you -- but it's a surprise.
So don't open it now. -I'm not opening it.
-You open it when it's your birthday.
You're gonna like it.
It's a surprise! It's a surprise.
That's a surprise too.
Don't open it yet. You're gonna be so psyched.
Guys, thank you so much for --
-Thank you.
-No, that's when his birthday is.
-That's the same thing. [ Laughter ]
-No, no, no, no.
Guys, I figured, why not celebrate your new book.
-Aw!
-With a little bite of "Cookie Puss."
No, let me put it in your face.
There's a "Cookie Puss" right here. There you go.
Thank you, Ad-Rock, Mike D.
-Hey!

[BTSFY] BTS Suga (AGUST D) - 치리사일사팔 724148 Reaction and Review [ENG] - Duration: 8:12.hi this is SeungV
at the last video I mentioned bout
that I favor Sugar's rap among those three rappers
I like Sugar's rapping the most
so on today's BTSFY
Sugar have released his mixtape two years ago
which is August D
so the title song was Agust D
and give it to me was made in MV
and among those tracks, I want to review the song call 724148
the reason why I like Sugar is
ofcourse it could be his skill on rapping
compare to other members, his rap style is really straightforward
so this song is
is a song bout his life story that how he get into Big Hit starting from his hometown Daegu
we will listen to this song
and do the review
let's listen to it right away
rap in this song is quite fast
I didn't had a clue of which place to pause
first of all, the lyric is really straightforward
and strong
so at the beginning he start doing music
if he keep doing music in Daegu he probably could be a director of music school
he doesn't want that, so he came to Seoul
he took the audition that Bang Si Hyuk opened
that person who wrote 'just like got shot'
we will keep listening
so he took the audition
so on preliminary, they gave him the beat to rap
he really composed a new song out of this beat
so normal person doesn't really do like this
when I was young I did prepare to become an idol
had an experience of taking many auditions
most of the people will do like
will only do the things that they have prepared such as singing and dancing
so on the company's point of view, they needed this kind of talented person who try different thing
his composing skill was great
after the preliminary, he got call from Big Hit right away
area code 02, which means there was a call from Seoul
usually is like this
if there is no call for long time, that means you are out
so he passed the audition and came to Seoul
on first day, he eat outside
and live by
he knew that the price of Seoul is really high
especially he lived near Gangnam
so for his living and attending the school, he did a lot of part time job
the word golden spoon and earth spoon come out
gifted friend doesn't need to try hard
even they don't try hard they get foreign car for graduation gift
'I'm so envy about that, world is so not fair'
is written on the lyric
fact is I'm vocal major
and sang a lot of different kind of genre
I don't really know about hiphop that well
don't know about hiphop term
When someone release a hiphopish mixtape or song
I can only talk about what I feel about this song
not only this song
the song that I completely fall into BTS was
the song call Never mind
he really talk straightforward about those negative stuff
'ok, you guys do your stuff, I'll do my stuff'
'I'll do it in my way'
this kind of content is in the song
I'm also the kind of person that really cares a lot bout how others look at you
which lead me to get a lot of stress
the situation could be kind of similar cause I do music too
When I first started the music, many people said that 'are you doing music cause you don't want to study?'
and heard that 'Can you success with music? You can only be a director of music school'
the situation is not exactly the same, but I've encountered similar stuff
and got similar tackle, prejudice and other negative stuff
it was a vicarious satisfaction for me that Sugar does his rap really straight forward and honest
and I'm happy about that I could know about BTS by this song
so many people will not really know about Agust D except some fans
eventhought the schedule is a bit irregular
but still they are releasing their mixtape
even vocals
they do covers of famous songs composing with their own taste and style
is really fresh and different
I've seen some idol's cover song
i wanted to tell that not only the idol song, but they also release and try to show there capability of doing other genre of songs
wish this could be a chance of those people who have some prejudice bout idols will change there mind a bit
what they know is that idol rapper only raps on the beat that company gave
but realize that oh this guys can tell there story on there own beat
isn't that nice?
so we did a review on 724148
I'm not professional at hiphop so I didn't really have idea of how can I disect this in hiphop way
What I feel about this song is that
is a great song
is an unusual song that is different with usual idol songs
how was you guys, did you like it?
so this is the end
I've mentioned that Sugar's rap style is really straightforward and tough
but this is not all
he also knows how to write those metaphoric and lyrical songs
on the next video I'll talk about the other side of Sugar

popular samplers and they proceeded to list the many names of everyone that you
admire that use the sampler that they're talking about which makes you feel like
the sampler you have is all wrong for boom-bap music so you either put that
sampler aside which of course halts your whole process of music making and run
out to the store and get that recommended sampler that you have to
learn from scratch and because of that you've now accepted the mindset that you
need a recommended sampler to make boom-bap music and make no mistake I've
gotten the talk and I've definitely given a lot of people to talk and over
time I've realized that it's best to let everyone use the equipment that they
have and the equipment that they like the best results will always come from
that
so how did the classic machines that we Revere get popular in the first place
but all instruments that do something very well and efficiently become popular
and they have staying power beyond their years because of those qualities
so take the SB 1214 technology at its time there was no better drum machine
that could sample and sequence and be relatively affordable during its time it
was light easy to carry around from Studio to studio and although it was
made in 1987 the SB 1200 was built off the reputation of the SB 12 which was
made in 1985 so it was an upgrade that was embraced
by the hip-hop community for all the reasons listed above and during those
years as hip-hop music grew and become more commercial and people actually
started mentioning the SP 1200 in songs which even further boosted its
popularity among inspiring musicians and inspiring producers the SB 1272
by 1988 when the MPC 60 rolled around it had to break into the market to gain its
place even though it was a superior machine to the SB 1200 and so these two
drum machines became the most popular even though at that very same time
classic records were being made with other samplers so popularity and general
acceptance by the hip-hop community has a huge role to play in how we think
about other machines in relation to the tried and true samplers that we know so
let's move on to the truth the absolute truth is you can make
boom-bap hip-hop with any sampler and more than that you can make hip-hop with
anything that makes noise anything within your grasp that you can produce
sound with can be used to make hip-hop a stick a tire a table beatboxing a
turntable clapping anything that can produce sound and can be recorded can be
used to make hip-hop so if you are now starting out in hip-hop or you've been
involved in other genres of music and have an interest in starting to make
hip-hop always remember out of all the genres of music we have today hip-hop is
very versatile anything goes as long as the end product is great and the best
thing that you can do to make great hip-hop is to use the machines that you
like whatever machine calls out to you and gravitates towards you the most
that's the machine that you're supposed to be using because it's gonna assist
you in translating your musical thoughts as accurately as possible to the
listener and at the end of the day we always have to remember that hip-hop did
not start with the sampler and it most definitely won't end with the sampler
it's a very freeform genre similar to jazz in that the end result is far more
important in the process anyway thank you for watching if you
like to learn something today subscribe to us here on YouTube I will catch you
on the next one in the meantime take care of yourself peace

Real Madrid news: Antonio Conte rules himself out of job for THIS reason, is he right? - Duration: 3:33.Antonio Conte will not become the new manager of Real Madrid after a potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu reached complications
The Italian was set to take over from Julen Lopetegui after the club sacked the 52-year-old on Monday
Real Madrid have endured a nightmare run of form which has seen them win just one match in their last seven games
Sunday's 5-1 thumping by Barcelona in El Clasico was enough to send Florentino Perez over the edge
Following his dismissal, Lopetegui said: "After the decision adopted by the board of directors of Real Madrid, I want to thank the club for the opportunity it gave me
"I'd also like to give thanks to the players for their effort and their work, as well as to each and every one of the club's employees, for their good treatment of me during this time
"And, of course, my gratitude to the fans for their encouragement. Best wishes for the remainder of the season
" Castilla boss and former player Santiago Solari has taken charge of proceedings on a temporary basis while the club decide their next move
Conte had been favourite to take charge in Madrid and according to Guillem Balague even flew back to London from a holiday in Egypt as he prepared to pack his bags for Spain
He initially turned down the chance to takeover from Zinedine Zidane in the summer to take a break from the game
But now according to Sky Sports News, Conte has ruled himself out the running for the job
The 49-year-old is prepared to take on a new challenge mid-season, but he feels that Real Madrid is not the right project for him
According to AS, it was Real Madrid that decided against the Italian as opposed to the other way round
The report suggests the ex-Chelsea boss believed many players would not approve of his appointment
The Italian also wanted assurances over the "future plans" of the first-team squad, most likely referring to what influence he would have in transfer dealings plus available funds
A separate report from Goal says financial disagreements with former club Chelsea have added to further complications over Conte's potential appointment at Real
In order to sign with the Madrid outfit, the Blues reportedly want the 49-year-old to forgo a £9million (€10m) compensation package, which is creating difficulties in the negotiations between all three parties

Elite: Dangerous the Scanner 1st Impressions Beyond chapter 4 - Duration: 10:22.Hello its Ricardo and welcome back to elite dangerous Beyond chapter four lots
of new updates have turned up and in particular is this scanner the new way
of scanning celestial bodies and surfaces of planets indeed yes all looks
a bit complicated doesn't it before we get into that I just got to say what the
graphics the graphic updates on this absolutely amazing you know they really
have lightened up space to be honest so scanning you've got two modes now you've
got a combat mode and you've got a scanning mode alright but you're going
to need to configure and we'll get into that a little bit later you can't do
scanning in combat mode and you can't do shooting in scanning mode so be mindful
of that anyway scanning planets and scanning stars you
can still rock up to the main star in the body and press T to target it and
scan it okay once you've got the scanning mode you can still use a
discovery scanner to do a sort of initial hunk and get your celestial
plane that's fine everything's fantastic with that then it starts to get a little
bit what seems to be complicated but really once you do it it isn't when I
first opted I thought oh I'm not going to get on with this and here is the
spectrum scanner now in all its glory no you say you are gonna have to configure
it and bind it to certain key mappings but the idea is you move the cursor over
a celestial body of which there aren't and really that I haven't found in this
area and then using the spectrograph at the
bottom you could say you tuned in to the resonance frequency of the planet
and then you zoom in and then you scan it so they're just rocking in and going
honk there's all the planets and instead of sort of rocking up to each individual
planet just to get a planet scan you can do it this way
um so like I say perhaps not the best system we're gonna jump to another one
and see how that goes and what we're gonna do then is we're gonna get some
scanning on so we are we're just dropping out here's the main star so
we're gonna scan this straightaway thank you very much and then we're going to
find all these unexplored worlds now here comes the tricky bird so I say the
tricky part the new part it's just new as you can see it's all unexplored you
look at the system map some commanders have already been there already if you
are new to the system you'll get your name put on it
look at the 3d map of the system in the system a plaid I had quite a bit of work
done to it you can see what sort of planets are on what plane
now into the scanner so you've got these arrows these are pointing to where
different bodies and you can see these glowing these glowing blue dots or blurs
now we fixated on one there's a red circle around which means we can zoom
into it we can use the slider now you'll see from this are taking a snapshot it
moves quite quickly the inner circle is yellow right which means I'm right on
the many on that spectral analysis bar I've slid it all the way over to the
left-hand side this is going to be a signal source right which means I can
now zoom in and analyze it so you've got to get that internal circle as yellow it
seems complicated but it isn't really you see degraded emissions detected all
right so if you go and think about and look for some more planets and other
things like that then as long as you get that inner circle is yellow you can scan
it from this distance so we'll move on to this one what's that that's gonna be
another signal source because the inner circle is yellow and the spectrum bar
you see is over to the left-hand side again another degree in emissions
detected job moving on let's get to a planet
okay so here's some glowing blue dots we've zoomed in into the middle you can
see where that is distortions are in that bar and we found a planet again
ensuring that inner circle is yellow jointly it took me a little while to get
my head around this about 5 10 minutes I thought it's actually quite good it's
not as hard and fast as what youth it was the last time Rocking
honk yeah fantastic we're on we've got everything but yeah travel to every stir
in the system to scan it like this now without service coming in a little while
but I just want to emphasize this then I think this is actually good bonus in the
game it's a great addition some people might say oh I don't like it
I don't like it I like honking and then rocking out I like I don't like that
this is gonna save your time unless you want to go over there in surface-mount
something right again you're gonna fly over this is gonna save time and gives
you a bit extra depth in gameplay I think anyway so they are scanning
planets scanning signal sources and we discuss at the signal sources as well
have gotten to them but they are persistent meaning that if you leave the
system you can come back in okay so let's have a think about what we're
gonna do with surface scanning no surface scanning you're gonna need a
surface scanner for this nothing's really changed there so what you do is
is your rock up to this planet alright as you get close to it it'll scan and
tell you exactly what it is if you haven't scanned it already you're gonna
go into scanner mode right obviously not combat mode because we're doing scans or
scanning and what you're gonna do is once you get in range right you're gonna
be able to fire probes off at this planetary body to map the surface no
more Marquand eyeballs looking for stuff okay so there is our planet we're in
range as we can see we're in range we've engaged the surface scanner and then
we're gonna fire probes off as you can see I'm firing probes now you have
unlimited probes you're gonna fire them off and when they hit the surface it's
gonna pulse a bit like
the scanner pulse that moves us can make a ships as you can see and that is gonna
map a percentage of what you can see at the surface of the planet simple as that
so no more flying really low over planets looking for things the idea is
apparently you fire these probes off they hit the surface of the planet that
then returns all the telemetry and then you get to view the surface of this
planet from from the system map and get all that information just like that it's
a really cool effect I think some of the explorers might say all I liked flying
over planets and looking for things that added to the mystery but now technology
has kind of got in the way of that and you're able to fire all these probes off
and it's lovely sort of effect it's not that planet surface pretty cool I
thought so there you go this is a brief overview I'm not saying I'm right in
everything I've said and to be fair I probably haven't made an L of a lot of
sense as I understand it that's where we are with scanning so what you have to do
to remember is you can't do scanning in combat mode can you scan in scan mode if
you want to scan the surfaces of planets then be sure to have a detailed surface
scanner get into range fire off your probes if you want to do the normal
scanning scan the stur do a hunk in scanning mode that will give you your
celestial plane of where all the planets are gonna be and then focus with the
spectral graph analyzer as we've seen in this video and then you'll be able to
tune in to planets or signal sources
and do you discoveries that way so I've been Ricardo this has been a leak
dangerous chapter four beyond and my first look at the scanner I daresay as
we continue to play it every win skills with the scanner right will become more
advanced anyway thanks for watching check out for more videos in the series
and I'll see you soon
you
you

J'en ai pour un quart d'heure / Управлюсь за четверть часа / I'll Be Set in 15 Minutes - Duration: 8:45.It's a Saturday morning.
It's October but the weather is still mild.
It's a Saturday morning.
A Saturday like many others.
With linen sheets and unsettling dreams.
A clock is ticking.
Distant noises tuned down by the yard.
It's a Saturday morning.
And all starts over again.
I'LL BE SET IN 15 MINUTES
A FILM BY SERGEI SHIKALOV
The Character leaves his bedroom.
That's how his weekend starts,
long and greyish, in this oblong apartment
which suddenly turns itself into an ocean.
These two days off give too much room for his thought,
which feeds this abyssal void
haunting him for many years
without knowing why.
The air is Autumn's veil.
And the street with its passers-by and the lights
somewhat white, somewhat sepia
rushes in this room to make the character exist.
For only do we exist due to the words and objects that surround us.
With shadows and flowers.
Taking a shower in these yellow lights of his bathroom,
he imagines his morning develop in the space and time.
A quarter of an hour.
A quarter of an hour will be quite enough to fill this void.
To resurrect somehow.
However, he will soon realise that this feeling of void is so strong
that he will fail to decide on which capsule to put in the coffee machine.
He will then get down to sorting the capsules, to revealing the differences
to comparing, contrasting and making an order.
A maple tree is whispering to the wind outside.
But it won't help.
And all the capsules seem the same.
Well, what's the hype in showing a dude fiddling with coffee capsules for a minute?
Pardon?
Jerome, I am saying...
That would be quite annoying to watch a guy sorting coffee capsule for a minute, wouldn't it?
For what sake?
Well, you know, it's all about the atmosphere.
It's a sort of grammar of everyday trifles, you see.
Trifles?
Everyday trifles.
I kinda get that he is not well. But that is not how I see the abyssal void.
It's not about fiddling with capsules. It's not about watching a bug crippling.
The abyssal void... It's like...
Throwing himself out of the window, for instance!
Yet, if you are planning to shoot it here, it won't do –
the dude will break his leg at best.
You already make us watch him taking a shower for a minute!
And we don't even get to see 'the thing'!
But you are the artist.
You know how to make it better.
Go on, honey bunny!
But he won't give up.
Cause that's how he was brought up.
By his dad, mom, grandparents.
Don't give up, you will make it, they all said.
Sort them!
Sort them all, my Character!
He will end up by making a choice and drinking his coffee at the window.
He seems to be going better.
I gotcha.
You want to make a film without dialogues,
telling the story of a guy going through an Autumn depression
and spending his Saturdays fiddling with coffee capsules.
Right?
Not quite so.
You know what, Jerome?
I don't think quitting your job is such a great idea now.
I know that you are fed up with your boss.
I know that you want to make movies.
And your ideas are quite...
Poetical!
But it's not easy to be in the cinema today...
It's not that easy at all.
Talents are numerous but...
But read me the end
I really want to know what happens in the end!
He often goes to cemeteries.
Once a week, in the morning, for a quarter of an hour.
He strolls around, endlessly, aimlessly.
He hardly knows why.
But he is convinced that he will find his inspiration there.
He will draw it from the deep void of a tomb.
From the void of love and ardent passion.
He is looking for a tomb.
Among these writers and painters,
linguists, egyptologists and artists,
musicians and singers,
among this tender light and city sounds
smoothed by the graves,
he knows that somewhere here
he will manage to fill this void.
Persevering, gradually, little by little
Step by step, quarter of hour by quarter of an hour
He will make it.
He needs to believe in this.
Where is your grave, sweetheart?
I'm tired as a horse.
Can't we come back here next week?
I am really super tired.
And then we need to go to the supermarket. It closes at 1 PM on Saturdays.
Sure...
I just hate these self-service check-out desks!
Honey, would you pass me the butter?
