Hello folks!
Welcome to my channel Le Crochet Monique.
Today we are going to crochet
this easy Christmas bauble,
and it's also easy for beginners.
We will need:
100% mercerized cotton,
which is stronger than normal cotton yarn.
Next we'll need:
2 mm crochet hook,
scissors,
yarn needle
and of course a Christmas bauble with a dimeter of 8 cm.
Now we can start.
The Christmas bauble is crocheted from 2 parts.
The first part and
this second part.
Every part is from 4 rounds.

3
4
First we'll crochet one part with 4 rounds.
Then we'll crochet second part,
we'll make 1, 2, 3 rounds
and with this 4. round
we'll join on this place.
Start with slip knot
and ch8,

and join with a ss into first ch to make a ring.
Round 1:
Working into ring,

15dc.
This is 1dc,

Join with a ss into top of 3rd ch of beginning ch.
Round 1 is done.

Repeat to the end.
We do ch2 (ch sp) and dc into top of dc in previou round.
...and last dc,
ch2.
Join with a ss into top of 3rd ch of beginning ch.
Must remain ch2.
Round 3 is done.
Round 4:
There are 3tr tog.
Ch3 (counts as first tr),
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front twice
and insert the hook into the ch sp,
Bring the yarn over the crochet hook and draw it through the ch sp,
you now have four loops on the hook.
Draw it through the first two loops on the hook.
Draw it through the next two loops on the hook.
Two loops remain on the hook.
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front twice
and insert the hook into the same ch sp,
Draw it through the first two loops on the hook.
Draw it through the next two loops on the hook.
Bring the yarn over the crochet hook and draw it through three remaining loops on the hook.
It's first 3tr tog.
Next ch5,
2
3
4
5
into next ch sp
3tr tog.
You can do it in a classic way,
or this way:
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front once
and insert the hook into the ch sp,
Bring the yarn over the crochet hook and draw it through the ch sp, you now have three loops on the hook.
Draw it through the first loop on the hook.
You still have three loops on the hook.
Draw it through the next two loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front once
and insert the hook into the ch sp. Bring the yarn over the crochet hook and draw it through the ch sp,
Draw it through the first loop on the hook.
You have four loops on the hook.
Draw it through the next two loops on the hook.
You have three loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front once
and insert the hook into the ch sp. Bring the yarn over the crochet hook and draw it through the ch sp,
Draw it through the first loop on the hook.
Draw it through the next two loops on the hook.
Bring the yarn over the crochet hook and draw it through four remaining loops on the hook.

draw it through the first two loops on the hook,
next two loops.
1,2,
draw it through the ch sp,
draw it through two and two loops on the hook,
1,2,
draw it through the ch sp,
draw it through two and two loops on the hook,
You have 4 loops on the hook,
and draw it through 4 remaining loops on the hook.
It's a classic way.
Or this way:
ch5,
Second way is:
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front once,
draw it through the ch sp,
draw it through the first loop on the hook.
Draw it through the next two loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front once,
draw it through the first loop on the hook
and 2 loops on the hook.
Wrap the yarn around the crochet hook from back to front once,
draw it through the first loop on the hook
and 2 loops on the hook
and draw it through 4 remaining loops on the hook.
There are two ways, but it's your choice, which one is easier.
Repeat: ch5 and continue to the end.
...ch5,
3tr tog...
and last time.
A simpler way is this,
especially for beginners,
when you wrap the yarn twice,
stitches are very long, when you don't have a practice.
I think, this is a simpler way.
Last ch5.
Join with a ss into top of first 3tr tog.
The first part is done.
Cut off the yarn.
Weave in end.
We are going to make second part the same way like first,
but we'll make only 3 rounds, because in 4th round we'll connect the two parts.
Second part:
Start with slip knot.
Ch8,
and join with a ss into first ch to make a ring.
Round 1: Ch3 (counts as first dc),
15dc (16dc),
Join with a ss into top of 3rd ch of beginning ch.
Round 2:
Ch3 (counts as first dc),
ch1 (counts as first ch sp),
dc into next st.
Repeat: Ch1, dc into next st to the end.
Join with a ss into top of 3rd ch of beginning ch.
Round 3:
ch1 (counts as first ch sp),
ch2 (counts as first ch sp),
dc into top of dc in previous round.
Repeat: ch2 (counts as first ch sp),
dc into top of dc in previous round to the end.
Join with a ss into top of 3rd ch of beginning ch.
Round 3 is done.
We are going to join.
Ss into first ch sp.
3tr tog into same ch sp,
ch2,
take your first part
and with right side of both sides facing
(wrong sides together).
Release loop from hook, insert hook in any ch sp of the first part,
put loop back on hook,
ch1 (third ch),
and ch2 (together 5 chains we have).
In the next ch sp
3tr tog
and again ch2,
Release loop from hook, insert hook in any ch sp of the first part,
put loop back on hook,
ch1 (it's third ch),
ch2 (together 5 chains).
And repeat again.
3tr tog into next ch sp,
ch2,
Release loop from hook, insert hook in any ch sp of the first part,
put loop back on hook,
ch1,
ch2 and continue...
... try it
and continue if necessary...
... put in the christmas bauble.
If you don't have any bauble,
you can join it to the end
and stiffen it with a sugar water.
And continue to the end.
It's a little more difficult, but not complicated.
... and last join with chains.
Join with a ss into top of first 3tr tog.
Fasten off.
Weave in end.
And done.
Christmas bauble is finished.
I hope you worked well and success is guaranteed.
