2018 Mustang GT Fastback AWE Touring Cat-Back w/ Diamond Black Tips Exhaust Sound Clip & Install - Duration: 11:46.

The AWE touring system is gonna be a premium cat-back option for the 2018 and newer owners

who wanna add a little bit more volume and a much deeper tone, thanks to the inclusion

of the H-pipe right here.

Now, interested GT owners can also look forward to premium 304 grade stainless throughout

along with AWE's drone cancelling 180 technology here, which will lead to a very pleasant in-car

experience.

This particular system does feature the black diamond tips for around that $1,700 price

point.

And the install will not involve any cutting or permanent modification.

So, call it a straight up one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter with a more

detailed walkthrough to come later in the video.

So even though AWE has been making quality systems for nearly 20 years now, their first

splash into the domestic market was with the S550 Mustang back in 2015 where it quickly

became one of the favorites in the category.

Now, the American-based company stuck to a pretty simple recipe with their systems and

that included a great build, great materials, and even better sound with the touring system

that we have here and their more aggressive track system, which you can also find on the

site.

Now, full disclosure, guys, I'm a huge fan of the touring system from AWE for two big

reasons.

The volume level and the inclusion of the H-pipe, which is gonna give this system its

nice deep tone overall.

But going back to the volume, again, this system just offers the right amount of bark

to me and it's good enough to come in at a rather robust three out of five on my one

to five or one to wake the neighbors scale, not too loud, not too quiet, just right on

the money.

Now, inside the car on the other hand things remain extremely quiet due to the inclusion

of the twin bullet style resonators working with the Touring Series cans but more importantly

due to AWE's proprietary 180 technology which is the main culprit in cancelling out any

of that annoying drone that can sometimes be a bit problematic especially with these

deeper sounding systems.

And speaking of that deep tone, let's talk a little bit more about how the Touring helps

tone down some of the rasp that is present with the Coyote engine.

And again, I come back to that H-pipe shown right here.

Now, I would think a majority of the systems in the category and especially at this price

point are going to utilize an X-pipe which will really only further help amplify that

rasp while the H-pipe that we have here is gonna help deliver some of that lower thumping

classic muscle car tone that a lot of Mustang owners are after.

Aside from that mid pipe, AWE does also include those bullet style resonators, which we mentioned

earlier.

And these guys will help kind of round that sound out a little bit more while toning things

down ever so slightly making volume levels acceptable for that Touring name.

Now, if you like everything about this system in regards to the H-pipe, the killer quality

and materials but would prefer more volume overall, then I strongly recommend checking

out the Track system also from AWE, which is going to eliminate the mufflers altogether

giving you a ton more volume in the process.

Let's get back to the touring system that we have here and again, talk a little bit

more about the build quality.

And AWE is very adamant about using only the best US source materials such as the 304 grade

stainless steel from tip to tip.

Now, that does include the three inch mandrel bent tubing and it's all hand welded right

here in the northeast.

Finally, guys, everything will exit out of the quad four inch tips.

These are done in the black diamond material which I think looks really killer.

It's also been embossed with the AWE logo.

And it does cost you a little bit more compared to their traditional polish tips.

And if you prefer that traditional look, you can certainly find that system here on the

site as well.

It's gonna cost you about 100 bucks less than the black options that we have here.

Now, I would say that most Mustang owners interested in this kit will probably not have

that factory active exhaust system in place.

However, if you do and you really love this system, you'd love to get it on your car,

you can totally bolt this up to an active exhaust car.

However, you would just need to grab AWE's exhaust valve motor bracket in order to avoid

any possible check engine light situations.

Now, if you have a non-active 2018 or newer GT, you don't need anything extra as this

kit will bolt right up without anything else.

As far as your install is concerned, well, there really is nothing crazy to expect here

guys.

Everything bolts right in the place without cutting or permanent modification using some

pretty basic hand tools.

And to give you a better idea of what's involved for this job, here is a detailed walkthrough

along with the tool breakdown.

Now, to begin to disassembly of our exhaust, we're gonna use a 15 millimeter socket on

our impact gun and disconnect the clamps at the part of the exhaust that connect it to

the catalytic converter pipes.

Now, we're just gonna loosen up these four bolts on the clamps here, this way our entire

exhaust will slide right out.

Next using a 13 millimeter socket on our ratchet we're gonna go ahead and disconnect our hangers

from the rear of our vehicle.

This way we can slide our entire exhaust out as one unit but we're gonna do it with the

help of a friend because we actually have our vehicle up on a lift, not down on the

ground with jack stands where it would be a little bit easier to do it by yourself.

Okay.

Using our 13 millimeter, we're gonna go ahead and take out these two bolts here to disconnect

our hangers.

Next we're gonna move up above the mufflers to get the two hangers that are up there.

Show you those in a minute.

Okay.

Moving back here to the rear, we have two bolts that have to come out of each hanger.

Now, we have one going up from the bottom and one coming in from the side.

They still utilize a 13 millimeter socket to remove these.

So we're gonna go ahead and get these disconnected then we'll get the help of our friend to slide

our whole exhaust out.

Now, there's one of these hangers on each side.

All right.

Now we're ready to pull our exhaust.

We're gonna get the help of our other installer Nick to give me a hand and we're just gonna

unhook these from the crossmember and slide the whole exhaust out as one piece.

Now, to begin our install, we're gonna go ahead and slide our H-pipe into place.

Now, this utilizes the factory clamps that come off the back of our catalytic converter

pipes.

So we're gonna use our screw jack to hold it up in place before we get our other piping

in, line them up, and slide them in.

And for the time being we are gonna leave our clamps loose, this way we can adjust it

later on.

All right.

Next we're gonna go ahead and install one of our mid pipes.

Now, this has a built in a resonator for it.

We're just go ahead slide this up into place.

And make sure you have your new supplied clamp on here before you put it in because then

you might have to take your exhaust all back apart just to get this clamp in.

Now, we utilize our factory rubber hanger from our original exhaust.

We got that in place now.

So once we get that up and in there, we can hold this pipe up just using the factory hanger.

Now, that that's in place, let's go ahead and get the other side in then we can move

on to our mufflers.

Now that we have both mid pipes installed, I'm gonna go ahead and put our bolts in for

our mid pipe hangers, this way they won't move around on us when we're getting our mufflers

in.

Next up we're gonna go ahead and get our mufflers put into place once again with our new clamp

supplied with the kit.

And using our factory hanger, we're gonna go ahead and get this up into place.

Okay, now that we've got one of our mufflers in, we still are gonna go ahead and leave

our clamps loose for now until we get both mufflers in, then we can go ahead and line

everything up where we want it, then we can go back and tighten it all down.

Now that we have both mufflers installed, we're gonna go ahead now and go back and tighten

everything up.

All right.

Next we're gonna go ahead and tighten up our rear hangers.

We're just gonna reinstall our factory 13 millimeter bolts, then we'll move on to the

installation of our tips.

Okay.

Now that our exhaust is all bolted up, everything tightened and everything leveled out, we're

gonna go ahead and get the tips installed.

We're just gonna go ahead and slide them on.

I already have the clamps installed on the end of our muffler.

Slide these over and get them lined up right where we want them.

All right.

Now that we get the tips on and lined up, we're gonna go ahead and tighten up those

clamps, then we'll move over and get the other two on.

Well, that wraps it up for the installation of our AWE Touring Edition Exhaust with the

black diamond tips.

How To Make Keto Salmon Patties - Low Carb Salmon Cakes - Keto Recipes - Duration: 9:07.

what's up everybody this is Lyle no hippie barbecue when I be making in

this video is we're gonna be making some keto salmon croquettes salmon patties salmon

cakes or whatever you call them just call them good I was inspired to make

this recipe by a website by the name of castironketo.net now the recipe that

they originally came up with was four crab cakes and I figured it would be a

nice adaptation to turn this into a keto salmon recipe so that's what we're gonna

do it's a very simple recipe I did make a

few adjustments to other your ingredients and we'll discuss those when

we get into these ingredients so before we get into these ingredients I want to

let you know that I will be having the original recipe in the description below

along with any changes that I made their recipe was based on eight ounces of meat

I'm going to be going with about a pound and a half of salmon so my recipe that

I'm using right here is going to be adjusted for that but like I said the

original recipe is going to be in the description below so this is our pound

and a half of salmon and this is gonna be for my dogs right here and their

recipe they used onions I'm using some chopped shallots and their recipe they

used red peppers which I have here and I'm also adding some orange peppers as

well we have our egg mayonnaise butter pepper and they used the regular

oil-based seasoning I'm going to be using an old bay rub it's just a little

bit different than the Old Bay seasoning and we're gonna be binding it with some

almond flour those are all their ingredients you're really gonna need for

this I will be making a homemade tartar sauce and I'll have a video on that as

well it's a matter of fact I'll put a link to that video in the iCard above

and description below of this video is this gonna be a totally separate video

those are ingredients what I'm going to do right now is I'm gonna cook this

salmon until it's done I don't want to overcook it so we're gonna be cooking it

to about just under full done and I'm not going to season it before we cook it

it's gonna go in the oven right now for probably

fifteen minutes and 350 degrees changes I'm going to make to this recipe that

they didn't do in theirs cuz I am going to saute our shallots and our peppers

before we make our salmon cakes and really that's just to make it a little bit

easier for those salmon cakes to kind of hold together without any of those

vegetables poking through so we're just going to cook them down until they just

become just a little bit softer so we've let these vegetables cook for about

three minutes and if I didn't mention it earlier I am cooking this in about a

tablespoon and a half of butter now that they're softened we're just gonna set

them aside and let them cool off our salmon should be cooked in about another

ten minutes and once that's done getting cooked I'm gonna let that salmon cool

down as well just to make it easier to handle it's had a chance to cook it's

cooled down and while I was waiting for it to cool down I went out and checked

taste it I am going to add some of this to this recipe just to kind of spice it

up a little bit anyway Kent I'd like to thank you for sending this to me now

really to complete this all that we need to do is add all of our ingredients so I

already have my salmon in the bowl go ahead and throw these eggs in our

vegetables our manis almond flour pepper and I'm gonna eyeball these seasonings

this is our old bay

and now some of this extra extra hot pepper blend Kent I don't okay it is hot

from what I could smell right now my bed sure if it has anything else in it but

I'm getting a dried habanero smell out of this I'm gonna recover from adding

this these peppers in here we'll get mixing it up so I can attest to you that

this is some hot stuff here I'm telling you I'm sniffling and everything right

now just smelling it so I know this is gonna bring some heat now all I'm doing

now is I'm mixing it up trying to incorporate everything in together

and once I have it mixed in completely I'm going to form my salmon patties and set

them on some wax paper or something that it's not gonna stick too far as forming

these patties though you can make them as big as small as you want I'm gonna

freehand these and I'm just going for something a little bit on the smaller

side so about that big right there so these are good to go looks like I have a

little bit left over we'll get to these later in the meantime I'm gonna get my

skillet heated up get some butter melted then we'll get cooking these off some

butter this melted in a skillet my skill set about medium-high and I have a

generous amount of butter in here really all that we need to do is cook these

until they are browned on both sides and I'm just going to do four of these for

now my wife is out Christmas shopping right now hopefully not spending a bunch

of money and my skillet is a little wobbly so I'm gonna

do that we're gonna cook these until we get golden brown he's been cooking for

about two and a half minutes I just want to take a look and see what they're

looking like it looks good to me perfect another two and a half minutes

on this side and it should be a wrap so these are cooked an additional two and a

half minutes on the other side I'm setting them on a plate with the napkin

just so some of that butter will drain off I'm gonna plate up get my big head

boy up here we'll do a taste test and he doesn't know I added all that hot pepper

to it so we'll see if he what he says and the taste test

so it's a wrap this time for me and Eddie Van Halen to get in here and get

in on this taste test as you can see that head is so big it doesn't even fit

all the way in the screen but anyway just get you one of those little salmon patties

you know a little slice squeeze a little bit on there just get you some tartar
